I'm so excited to show off for this beautiful piece because This was inspired by a certain artist that I look up to & my Love for Encanto, my oc & Bruno, of course.

**Sonia watches the lights & fireworks go out as She walked up the street, happily holding hand in hand with Bruno.

**Sonia softly grasped Bruno's hand to get his attention, giving him a contented smile as he smiled shyly back as Bruno interlaced his fingers with hers. **

Sonia: "I know you dislike crowds, Brunito,but I am grateful that you volunteered to be my escort. Papa would only choose you to keep an eye on me. I know the both of us will have a unforgettable night to remember."

Bruno: "It will be for sure. You make it tolerable to be around people, Soli. It's better than staying in Casita by myself....thank you for being my best frend."

Sonia: *playfully pulls him in closer* thank you for being mine-I mean my best friend too, Nothing will ever come between us."

*Both of them quickly glanced each other with light signs of blush, reverting back to watching the lanterns & the fireworks*

Sonia López es una cantante mexicana que nació en la ciudad de México, un 11 de enero de 1946. Su verdadero nombre es Asminda Sonia López Valdéz.

El encargado de descubrir el talento latiente de Sonia fue el director de la Sonora Santanera Carlos Colorado Vera. Él la vio cantar en el Té Danzante del Teatro Alameda. Para aquel entonces, Asmindia era solo una estudiante de secundaria del colegio inglés “Elizabeth Block”.

Tenía 15 años cuando canta acompañada del Mariachi Vargas de Tecalitlán y es observada por Coronado y Silvestre, quienes pertenecían a La Sonora Santanera. Quien le coloca el apodo de “La Chamaca de Oro” es el locutor de Radio Centro, Ramon Alfredo Moreno.

Sus primeros pasos como cantante profesional aparecen cuando es elegida para ser la vocalista de “La Sonora Santanera” en 1961. Esto debido a que la agrupación buscaba a una figura femenina para que formase parte del grupo. Incluso, fue recomendada por el director artístico de la compañía Columbia, que actualmente es Sony, para que grabara con el conjunto.

A sus 17 años, grabó el álbum titulado “Azul”, que fue todo un éxito y le permite percibir la fama rápidamente. Para la época, todas las canciones tuvieron una popularidad muy grande. Temas como “El Nido”, “Lo que más quisiera”, “Pena Negra”, “Por un puñado de oro”, “El Ladrón” y muchos temas más que sonaron en todos los rincones mexicanos.

Con esta agrupación viajó a Venezuela, El Salvador, Costa Rica, Puerto Rico, Estados Unidos y participó en muchísimos programas de radio.

Otra de las peculiaridades de su salto al estrellato, estuvo en la necesidad de que sus padres firmaran un permiso para que pudiese estar en las presentaciones, ya que Sonia era menor de edad y en México la mayoría de edad reglamentaria era de 21 años.

Posterior a esto, Asmindia emprendió su carrera como solista con su propio conjunto tropical; posicionando en los primeros lugares, boleros como “Enemigo”, “Castigo”, “No me quieras tanto”, entre otros.

Además de cantar con la Sonora Santanera, también realizó grabaciones con el trío Los 3 Ases. Sonia López es una artista representativa de la música tropical en México y ha sido una inspiración para muchas artistas de la música tropical de ese país.

En 1965, salió a relucir la producción discográfica llamada “Música del recuerdo”, que estuvo conformada con tonadas del recuerdo donde destacaron instrumentos que no utilizó en canciones anteriores, tales como “Venganza”, “Como fue”, “Dime”, “Amor perdido”, “Sabor de engaño”, “Pensando en ti” y “Perdido”.

también fue actriz y apareció en películas como "Campeón del barrio" (1964) con Joaquín Cordero, Óscar Madrigal y Fernando Soler; "Un callejón sin salida" (1965) en la cual compartió créditos con Javier Solís y Alberto Vázquez.

Sonia siempre estuvo dispuesta a probar nuevos horizontes y, a finales de esa década, probó con algunas baladas que fueron bastante aceptadas por sus admiradores.

Parte de la discografía de Asmindia López fue “Dancing in a tropical mood”, “Boleros”, “La chamaca de oro”, “Enemigos”, “Un río crecido”, “Tesoros de colección” y otros discos más.

Desde entonces, Sonia López es y será por siempre "La Chamaca de Oro", la mujer que sin lugar a dudas fue un parteaguas de la música tropical femenina.

Está retirada por voluntad propia dicho por ella misma todo tiene su tiempo.

Something I would love to see in a future Danganronpa sprite video is a retelling of “We Don’t Talk About Bruno” with Yasuhiro as the titular dude.

There’s already a couple that exist and I do commend them for how each one turned out, but I do wish there was one with Yasuhiro as Bruno. I mean, he is a shaggy, green fortune telling weirdo who sees the future and gets ripped on by everybody around him. He’s practically perfect for the role and I’d love to see a video like that.

But I will say that I wholeheartedly appreciate that most of the existing videos have Sonia and Gundam as the loving couple Pepa and Felix. That’s perfect casting there.

El Centro de la Imagen abre tres convocatorias para impulsar la producción, investigación y formación en fotografía

Este 21 de enero abre el registro para el Seminario de Producción Fotográfica 2021, que se llevará a cabo por primera vez en línea

● La XIX Bienal de Fotografía y el Premio Nacional de Ensayo sobre Fotografía iniciarán sus inscripciones el 28 de enero y 12 de febrero, respectivamente

El Centro de la Imagen (CI), institución de la Secretaría de Cultura del Gobierno de México, inicia sus actividades del 2021 con la publicación de tres convocatorias: Seminario de Producción Fotográfica 2021, XIX Bienal de Fotografía y Premio Nacional de Ensayo sobre Fotografía, con las que impulsa la producción fotográfica, la investigación sobre fotografía y la formación de las y los jóvenes fotógrafos y artistas visuales.

Seminario de Producción Fotográfica 2021

El Seminario de Producción Fotográfica 2021 del Centro de la Imagen es un programa de formación dirigido a las y los fotógrafos y artistas visuales con conocimientos intermedios y avanzados, que les brinda acompañamiento en el desarrollo de un proyecto visual, desde su conceptualización hasta su producción, mediante un conjunto de cursos, talleres, charlas y tutorías individuales. Los resultados más representativos de los procesos generados durante el Seminario se presentarán en una muestra en el Centro de la Imagen en 2022. El diseño, tutoría y coordinación académica de esta edición están a cargo de la fotógrafa Nirvana Paz.

A lo largo de dos décadas, este programa ha contribuido a la formación e impulso de las carreras de más de 300 fotógrafas, fotógrafos y artistas visuales entre quienes destacan: Eunice Adorno, Koral Carballo, José Luis Cuevas, Carol Espíndola, Adela Goldbard, Verónica Gerber Bicecci, Sonia Madrigal, Yael Martínez, Mariela Sancari, entre otros.

Este año, el Seminario de Producción Fotográfica se llevará a cabo por primera vez en la modalidad en línea, de acuerdo con los ejes de trabajo de la Secretaría de Cultura, para abonar a la descentralización del programa, facilitando así la participación de personas de distintas entidades de México e incluso de otros países.

El registro de aspirantes estará abierto a partir del 21 de enero y hasta el 25 de febrero de 2021, a las 23:59 horas (horario de la Ciudad de México). Los detalles del programa académico, los requisitos para postular y las fechas del proceso de selección se pueden consultar en la convocatoria, disponible en el sitio web del Centro de la Imagen (https://centrodelaimagen.cultura.gob.mx/convocatorias/2021/spf.html).

“El apoyo a la cultura no se detiene. Tenemos un firme compromiso con las y los creadores, por eso el Centro de la Imagen inicia el año publicando tres de sus convocatorias más importantes, con el objetivo de impulsar la formación de nuevos talentos, la producción fotográfica y la investigación y escritura sobre fotografía. Invitamos a la comunidad a revisar las bases e inscribirse”, comentó la secretaria de Cultura del Gobierno de México, Alejandra Frausto Guerrero.

XIX Bienal de Fotografía

Con la convocatoria a la XIX Bienal de Fotografía, el Centro de la Imagen reconoce e impulsa la producción fotográfica en México. Con la intención de reflejar el presente de la fotografía, permeado por las nuevas tecnologías, el quehacer creativo transdisciplinar y las exploraciones que trascienden la bidimensionalidad del papel, se invita a presentar propuestas que detonen la reflexión sobre las distintas formas de lo fotográfico y las cualidades de la imagen.

Debido al aplazamiento de la XIX Bienal de Fotografía en 2020 por la contingencia sanitaria, por única ocasión, las obras podrán haber sido realizadas entre 2018 y la fecha de cierre de la convocatoria.

Se otorgarán dos premios de $75,000.00 (setenta y cinco mil pesos mexicanos), uno para cada categoría de participación: Artistas con trayectoria de hasta cinco años y Artistas con trayectoria mayor a cinco años.

Además, hasta 25 personas podrán ser seleccionadas para participar en la muestra de la XIX Bienal de Fotografía, cada una recibirá un estímulo de $10,000.00 (diez mil pesos mexicanos) como apoyo a la producción de la obra seleccionada. La elección de propuestas estará a cargo de un jurado especializado, mientras que para el desarrollo de la propuesta curatorial de la exhibición, se invitará a un especialista.

Las personas interesadas en postular deberán llenar el formulario de registro con datos de identificación, detalles de su postulación y semblanza curricular en la dirección web: http://bienaldefotografia.cultura.gob.mx, además de subir dos archivos en formato PDF con su documentación y la descripción de la propuesta. La convocatoria estará abierta a partir del 28 de enero y el registro de postulaciones cerrará el jueves 8 de abril de 2021 a las 23:59 horas (horario de la Ciudad de México).

Premio Nacional de Ensayo sobre Fotografía 2021

La convocatoria al Premio Nacional de Ensayo sobre Fotografía 2021 invita a todas aquellas personas dedicadas a la investigación y escritura, de nacionalidad mexicana, o extranjeras residentes en territorio nacional, a participar con el análisis de obras fotográficas, movimientos o tendencias de la producción fotográfica realizada en México y/o por fotógrafos mexicanos, o estudios críticos en torno a la teoría fotográfica o de la imagen en el contexto actual.

Las personas interesadas podrán postular en una de dos categorías: Investigador en Formación o Investigador con amplia trayectoria. A partir de la evaluación de los trabajos recibidos, se otorgarán dos premios de $75,000.00 (setenta y cinco mil pesos mexicanos), uno para cada categoría. Además, las obras premiadas serán publicadas por el Centro de la Imagen en 2022 como parte de la Colección Ensayos sobre Fotografía.

Los ensayos participantes deberán ser una propuesta original en la que predomine el punto de vista de su autora o autor, ser una obra inédita, versión terminada y revisada cuidadosamente, escrita originalmente en español, estar firmada bajo un seudónimo elegido por su autor o autora, deberá estar desarrollada en 50 cuartillas como mínimo y 150 como máximo (sin contar portada, contraportada, índice, bibliografía ni anexos, entre otros).

Los trabajos deberán ser enviados únicamente al correo electrónico que indica la convocatoria, junto con la documentación personal y la ficha de participación debidamente llenada. La convocatoria estará abierta a partir del 12 de febrero, y la fecha límite de recepción de trabajos será el viernes 14 de mayo de 2021 a las 23:59 horas (hora de la Ciudad de México).
