Hello everyone! The songs have now been assigned so here we go...

if you'd like to listen to your song or the playlist as a whole click here!

if you for some reason don't feel at all inspired by the song you were assigned please feel free to contact me and i can give you another song bc there were a few spare ones that never made it onto the list for various reasons but please just don't lose hope or give up, there are more songs available!

dear reader...

we've been enchanted to see the level of enthusiasm for this year's Cruel Summer fic fest, but...

can [we] ask [you] a question?

like we've said in our tags, we understand if you want to stay invisible in your song + ship request, but to make the story of us a little easier on your mods, if you're among the individuals who've sent in an anonymous request, can you shoot us an ask with the tumblr side blog/ao3 account that you'll be using to post your stories?

we want to make sure everyone's fics have a place in this world (and in our stats!) and that we don't forget that you existed as we tag folks and move from era mashup to era mashup, and this is us trying to keep track of submissions in as simple a way as possible.

long story short: if you've sent in a request anonymously, please submit an ask to our fest page with the username you'll be using, so we can get a bit of closure in knowing who/what to look for when fics start posting! (feel free to send the link to our song assignment post from your ask back to us if that's the easiest way to remember)
