but yes, i did actually dissect the lyrics. yes, i am actually insane. and yes, i love this au quite a lot.

here are my notes and what i think each song represents, tho its mainly just the vibes i get. i made notes as i listened to them (note: i see songs almost always in animatic form. idk if that will effect how i imagine what each song means, but i thought it might be worth mentioning)

what difference does it make?: at first i was going to say its jophiel wanting to figure out what went wrong but azazel makes them promise not to, but i think its better suited for azazel understanding hes a demon, but he cant help but still have faith in the almighty

please please please let me get what i want: fuckkk is this about azazel being a demon but still wanting to do good 😭 short but still painful

ever fallen in love (with someone you shouldn't've): my first reaction to the title alone was like the second image of the kambucha girl meme. anyway i think this one is about them becoming friends (or more?? 👀) but knowing its seen as wrong. Before you made the choice for me" and think of aziraphale asking and falling for jophiel, and in a way making the choice of jophiel staying an angel. "Instead, I made a bed with apathy" jophiel trying not to care about a random demon. "I shine only with the light you gave me" jophiel giving azazel ideas on how to do "good" while being "bad". also with that line, thinking of azazel saying that to god and being sad about having fallen AUGHH i have a whole animatic in my head with this song and im losing my mind

Spread: 10 of Spades, The Joker + Lovers (Oracle)

You may be holding onto something you need to let go of. I am getting that it is some kind of loss or a sense of loss. You might have had to let go of a person in some way, whether that was through breaking up or physical loss.

I'm not saying "let go" in an invalidating, trivializing way. "Process" would have been a better term. Its like you are paused in the grief/regret stage. Wishing for what no longer is. The skull has a tiny little star on its head. It made me think of the star card in tarot. Healing. You could have to let someone, or something, go that you hoped to see improve. You have a lot of history. This could be related to struggling with mental health.

The movie Lovely Bones came to mind. I am not suggesting to watch it. Its not a pleasant movie and may trigger some people. But iykyk. Perhaps something about this movie is meaningful?

TL;DR: If you are struggling with grief, mental health, or anything else. Please tell someone you trust. Ask for help with processing whatever events you are dealing with.

When I'm reading playing cards I never know whether I should consider jacks as pages or knights. So I just think of them as both and go with the energy I feel. This one feels more knight-y...

Okay, let me stop trolling. Yes, this jack feels like more of a knight of pentacles. So a lot of you could be on the younger side or just really youthful. You should probably send something sincere, thoughtful, and as "too the point" as you can get it. Depending on your situation, you may even want to meet up. If this is more about you making decisions for your future. Again, don't do anything impulsive. Move at your own pace. Embrace who you are while remaining open to who you can become.

TL;DR: If you are feeling pressure to "grow up," take a breath and make the decision when you are less conflicted. Its possible to stay true to yourself and open to change. If you are butting heads with someone else, give things time to settle then send a sincere message/peace offering.

You turned off your phone and briefly glanced at Uraraka and Momo. The latter seemed to follow through the lesson without fail after turning her phone off, while Uraraka played with her hair anxiously and chewed her lips. "Heh.." You couldn't help your lips tugging up into a small smirk at the sight of her—hopelessly thinking. Just the sentence "I have a crush on Midoriya" threw her off so much, you wonder what would happen were you to go further.

But it's enough for now.

For now.

"Y/N.. Y/N..." "Mmm.. yeah..?" You murmured softly—with your head nested on the desk and covered by your arms—, and, after recognizing the oh so familiar voice, you sprung up from your seat so quickly you knocked your chair back. "Midoriya! Hi!" The words left your mouth in the form of sharp breaths. "Ahaha, hi." The flustered boy scratched his face and you quickly apologized for the jumpscare, even going as far as to bow down. Which earned you an embarrassed chuckle from said boy. "I didn't mean to bother you either, just wanted to ask for your help with.. something." Midoriya averted his eyes and you took this chance to quickly scan the classroom, only to realize it was only the two of you in the room. You were happy, but also a bit disappointed that no one could witness Midoriya's adorableness and flustered state, though you'll definitely carve out every bastards' eyes who stole a glance when you finally get the chance to. But your top priority right now was the flustered boy in front of you, with his soft locks of green-black hair partially covering his eyes that glanced up once in a while and an awkward smile resting on his face. The sight of him made you feel as it always did—you could barely suppress the urge to pull him into your chest and pepper kisses on every. single. freckle on his body. The way he'd whimper and needily grab onto you, starving for your touch just as much as you do. You wanted to spoil him, to spoil ALL of them. The way all three boys would gaze up at you with glossy eyes, impatiently waiting for your return when you leave. When they finally realize how much you mean to them they'd throw away any silly dreams or thoughts, like wanting to be the No.1 hero. They don't need to work to gain the fake appreciation of those good for nothing members of society. So long as they--

"As expected, it's unreasonable from me, huh.." What?- Oh, for god's sake, you got lost in your fantasy. Again. Now look at the boy—that adorable pout on his face that makes you want to cup his face and force his mouth open to-- alright, Y/N, get your head out of the gutter. "I'm sorry if I upset you." "No, no no no no no!" Before you could regain your composure, your hands shot out to hold Midoriya's. "..?!" Midoriya's sharp gasp was the one thing that pulled you out of your daze as you kept rubbing his hands, which were unlike his face—rough, scarred and full of experience. There's definitely no way you'd be able to take him on in a one-on-one combat. "So-sorry!" You blurted out, but still didn't let go of his hands. "It's-it's just that--that, you know--you have verynicehands!..." "Um." "I-I.. I'm sorry--that sounded incredibly weirdbutididntmeanitinaweirdway or anything--notthatithinkyoucansaysomethinglikethatwithoutsoundinglikeacreep--but-but--you get it right??" "To-to be honest, you were talking a little bit too quickly. Can you repeat it?" Midoriya flashed an innocent smile making you feel as if a thousand butterflies would burst out of you at any. moment. You sighed, and regretfully, let go of Midoriya's hands, already missing the rough texture of his skin against your own.

"Nevermind. To be honest..." You began, looking at Midoriya—staring back at you with a heartbreaking look on his face. "...It's--I'd love to--that, yes... I'd love that..." You cursed yourself mentally for not having the heart to admit you weren't listening to whatever he was asking you and can only pray that it's something you're actually capable of doing. You'd rather die than to disappoint him. But that can wait, you'd rather try to engrave Midoriya's beaming face into your memory. The way he squeezed your hands. The muttered "thank yous" and that warm laugh that classified more as childish giggle will forever be a cherished memory to you, only overwritten with even more intimate moments with him.

"Really, Y/N, you're really nice— I'm sorry for involving you in something silly like this." Midoriya bowed to you and, before you could say anything, ran off through the second door. And as soon as his footsteps faded away, the first door of the classroom slid open—Uraraka held the door with her head dipped so low she might as well been bowing down to you.

"Uraraka-chan!" You called out in a sweet voice, expecting a giggle or smile from the naive girl. "What's wrong? Do you need me to help with anything, dear friend?" Instead, she raised her head and glared at you—god, that annoying baby face really doesn't work in her favor, but it sure as hell makes your blood boil. The mere fact that she was here, most likely expecting to find Midoriya all on his own, to take him away from you even when you told her already how much you yearned for him, for Katsuki, for Shoto—It's obvious!— you are the only one who can have them. Yet, despite making it so clear to her, how they all belonged to you, she still can't give up on Izuku?

"Y/N." Now what, does she want to play the victim—to make you out to be the bad guy?

Probably...

"Yes?" The word escaped through gritted teeth wishing to brutally rip her throat out, maybe that, that would make her curse-like presence perish.

She gulped audibly and took a confident stance as if she was facing a fucking low-worth criminal.

The nerve in her..!

"Wait, no, before you continue..." You raised a hand and continued shortly after, "for how long did you eavesdrop on us? What exactly did you hear? If what you heard was the reason why you're... Mad at me, then you have no right to." "Wha--" "YOU were not a participant in OUR conversation, at the most, you were just stalking me or (my) Izuku and only happened to hear it—that does NOT equal being part of it. So if--" "SHUT UP!!" Uraraka shouted and held her head, tears prickling the corners of her eyes.

"You knew it already, didn't you?" You cock your head, "what could you possibly be referring to?" Her lips form a straight line and the hurt in her eyes sells her out. "Oh, it's Midoriya. Well, I would've probably guessed that sooner or later." "You're so heartless.."

"You should stop, before something happens."

But she didn't.

"Seriously--"

/ Whack /

It stings... Your cheek stings and your ears are ringing..

She just slapped you...

SHE. SLAPPED.YOU.

You truly didn't expect for the dumb bitch to be this dumb. Not a single ounce of courage, merely stupidity.

"Oi." You slowly raise your head, only to meet with a truly horrified expression—all the blood left her face and she, mouth parted, made shallow breaths almost as if forgetting how to breathe, like a fish stuck on land. "I-I.." She stammered, robotically raising her hands in a defensive way, probably afraid you'd hit back.

Which you really wanted to. A lot.

But, alas, nothing goes according to your wishes.

Momo steps into the classroom with Todoroki by her side, and, judging by their expressions, they probably were witness to Uraraka's uncharacteristic melt down.

"Uraraka-san." Todoroki called out, but she didn't turn to face him nor Momo. "Y/N, are you okay?" Momo ran up to you and held your face in her hands, examing the red handprint that slowly formed on your cheek. Truth to be told, it wasn't anything more than a faint uncomfortable feeling and it's most likely gonna disappear after a while.

But.

"Hnn..Momo, did," you sniffled as small droplets of clear liquid trailed down your face and rolled down Momo's hands, "did I do so-something wrong??" "No, you didn't!" A golden opportunity was presented to you. She turned towards Uraraka, "We might've not been here the whole time, but I know that you wouldn't do anything bad intentionally. And so wouldn't Uraraka." Huh? "And I'm sure we can talk this out, right, Uraraka, Y/N?" "Momo..!" Uraraka smiled at Momo with shiny eyes, but you, on the other hand... You should just get rid of them already. They're only obstacles and they never helped you in any way. "Are you okay?" Todoroki's voice tore through the red clouding your eyes. Right. "I don't know why Uraraka-san would shout at and hit me." "That's--" "Why did you hit them?" Todoroki cocked his head and raised a brow, ever so slightly at her. "I..." Uraraka gulped and looked at Todoroki, then Momo. Then you. No. "Y/N's lying about me." "What?" Momo looked at you and Uraraka, a puzzled expression evident on her face. This is not. "Lying about what? You hit me! EVERYONE SAW IT!" "Y/N." Your name fell out of Todoroki's mouth, like a whisper. No. You hadn't prepared for this situation. And you're losing it. They're all looking at you. As if you're not the victim. And truth to be told, you weren't ever really good at acting, especially not under stress. This... THIS ISN'T RIGHT. What should you do...

"Is... Is this about our chat?" You put on your best pouty face and cling to Todoroki, peeking at Uraraka from behind him. "You're mad at me because you like... Midoriya?" "--Nnh...!" She grit her teeth and averted her gaze to the floor, clenching her hands so hard the nails dug into her skin. "Uraraka?" Momo stepped forward to stand before her. "Is what Y/N said true?" "No, I don't like him... I love him! But they knew!..." "Eep!" She pointed at you with a glare and you quickly hugged Todoroki from behind in an act of terror. He turned his head back, checking on you and smiled reassuringly. Aww, how cute. So caring. You almost feel as though you should get rid of Momo and Uraraka right now, before either of those idiots hurt Todoroki. But that's not right. Not yet. "Thank you, Todoroki." You try your best to put on a sad smile, but it's just so difficult when you're so happy. Even with the way things are, it doesn't matter as long as he only has you before him. Not those... Things.

But God does it piss you off how you can't just wrap your arms around him. Can't lock him up or tie him to you... Just yet.

Just a little more.

"This is a sensitive topic to both of you (I assume), so let's talk things out when we're back at the privacy of our dorms." Momo glances around worriedly and presents an uncertain smile, probably with the intention to lighten the mood. "Is that okay with you two?" Uraraka agrees to the suggestion without much hesitation, she trusts Momo's ability to find a solution for everything, after all. You, on the other hand, swallow every venomous word attempting to escape past your lips and begrudgingly nod along.

Your fingers twist the fabric of Todoroki's uniform tightly in anger, but the boy seemingly misinterprets it as fear— he turns towards you slightly and smiles. His hand twitched, contemplating whether he should comfort you with a reassuring touch, but to your disappointment he decided against it and settled with just a smile that turned awkward with uncertainty.

Momo releases a breath of relief and puts a hand on Uraraka's back comfortingly, and slowly leads her out of the classroom. But not before shooting a strange look to Todoroki that you can't quite understand, but you can guess it meant something along the lines of 'lets separate them' or... something, because the next thing you know Todoroki's walking out (in a different direction from the girls) and you instinctively follow him, still clinging to his uniform.

You don't say anything during the walk, and you only stop when you arrive to the entrance of the dorms and Todoroki turns around— forcing you to let go of him— and scratches his neck. "Y/N." "Yes?" You answer immediately, but it doesn't divert his attention from your intense staring. Though he doesn't comment on it. "...You like Midoriya?" "No! Yes– wait, um... This is a little more complicated than it seems." You huff and massage your temple, contemplating lying. Todoroki irks a brow, but doesn't speak any further.

Should you come clean? Todoroki's a rational person, plus he wouldn't judge you, right? Maybe telling him your feelings might provide a better solution than... Well, it's still a plan B, but you shouldn't jinx things just yet.

"So, let's say hypothetically I have a "crush" on Midoriya," you fiddle with your hands and avoid looking at Todoroki for fear of exposing yourself, "but at the same time— I have a crush on an another person too..... And one other. Hypothetically saying!" He doesn't say anything, but he doesn't seem to want to leave just yet, though you're still afraid from looking up and meeting his eyes, so you can't be sure. "What would that make me?" "... I don't know." He answers thoughtfully. "You like three people?" "Hypothetically only, it's a hypothesis! Like a "what if" question." You blurt out hastily, whipping your head up and finally meeting Todoroki's gaze. Fortunately or unfortunately, he doesn't seem to have an opinion formed, or he just doesn't show it with the stoic expression he's wearing.

"Okay." He says with a bit of a pause. "I'm sorry, I don't know what answer you want." "It's not– nevermind. Let me reword that— say, hypothetically, if you were the one I had a crush on... What would you do?" "One of the three?" "Y-yeah." You sigh and carefully examine as he raises his hand to his chin in thought, seriously contemplating your "hypothesis". "...What would that mean?" "What?" "If you had a 'crush' on me, what would that mean?" "That I like you? I really don't know what you're asking."

"Then I would say thank you." "....That's it?" "Yes... Was there something else?" "Sometimes I forget how annoying it can be to talk about certain topics with you..." You grumble under your breath, but you also know that no matter how dense Todoroki can be, he's still someone you genuinely love. Even if your love may be a little too intense..... sometimes.

"No, thank you for answering my hypothetical questions. But I have to go back to my dorm now, so see you later." You say dejectedly and wander into the building, and you feel a slight pang in your chest as you consider that Todoroki may be easier to convince under different circumstances.

~ At night ~

It's about time the bakusquad leaves for their respective rooms (and Bakugou will be alone), so you use your quirk to transform into a small cat and climb into his window to wait.

"...What are you talking about?" Your ears perk up to the sudden change in atmosphere, and you try your best to eavesdrop without being spotted. "Midobro! He told me he's dating someone." Kirishima exclaimed, flashing a toothy smile to Bakugou. "No way!!" Mina screeched, but even that ear-piercing noise couldn't deter your thoughts from wandering from what the redhead had said. "Are you sure it wasn't just a prank or some kind of test from the teachers??" "Kamibro, he was blushing and rambling the whole time we talked." Kirishima turned towards Bakugou for support, but didn't receive any. "The nerd's always blushing and rambling to everyone, besides, there's no idiot stupider than him who would date him." He grumbled, briefly raising his head from his phone, and quickly returned to it. "Man..." Kirishima groaned and looked out the window— you quickly ducked to the side, hoping he wouldn't see you—, then he looked around the room once more. "So you guys aren't interested in who's Midobro's date? Not even a little bit?" "No, dumbass. Because he doesn't have one. Tch!" Bakugou commented, not raising his head this time. Kirishima turned to the other two, receiving unsure grins. "I guess we should go to our own rooms already, it's getting pretty late anyways..." He pouts, and the trio leaves files out of the room, saying a brief "good night" to the blond, now laying on his bed and leaning against the wall.

"Mreow~" You quickly seize the opportunity and paw at the glass until Bakugou notices you, and opens the window. "You're early.." He says thoughtfully as you trot towards the soft bed, and curl yourself up next to the pillow. It's something you've been doing for a few weeks now, taking on the form of a small cat and hanging out with Bakugou late at night— the first time you were impatient, thus careless, and you almost got caught in your original (human) form inside his room. But a few days later, when you were on a walk you saw a young kitten and you got an idea— and to your delight, that idea worked out well and Bakugou allowed you inside his room, even petted you and allowed so many more things that would've been considered weird, or even creepy if you were to do it as a human. (Since then, you've also began visiting Midoriya and Todoroki in their rooms when they were alone, and when morning came you took something from there as a keepsake, of course being careful not to make them too suspicous).

He plops down next to you, but this time he lays on his back and pats his stomach. You happily climb onto him and nuzzle into his neck, purring and kneading as he gently strokes your fur. His lips tug into a small, silly smile and he sighs. You know how relaxing it is for him to pet you and you'd be lying if you said this isn't one of your favourite things to do. But in a few hours, after you made sure he was asleep you'd go to visit your Izuku and Todoroki, as you've been doing for the past few weeks.

Otherwise, how could you sleep peacefully, if there was a chance either one of them could be hurt or even worse... So you have to make sure they are safe, every night, even if they don't know, even if they never thank you.

I really don't want to make this too long. I really didn't know how to end this, so this may seem abrupt.

Ps. I wanted a build-up, but it definitely turned a little awkward. I just didn't want to write the typical (and cringy) yandere falls in love and is immediately killing everyone who even looks at the subject of their love.

I might write another Yandere!Reader x The trio fic (that would be a 100% better) sometime in the future, but right now I'm just glad I got this one off my shoulders. Thank you for reading! ':)

I feel like talking more about my Dante and Gene Swap AU but this time I will just mainly write out some quick hcs and shit because I don't feel like writing long paragraphs rn lmao. Anyways, enjoy my silly thoughts under the cut!

-Gene's hair is pretty long because he was technically homeless for awhile and didn't have much money so he didn't really have the means to cut it. Same thing goes for the stumble on his face.

-He actually starts liking his long hair though so it's chill with him. Most of the time he just throws it in a low ponytail and calls it a day.

-But Aphmau, Nana and/or Cadenza insist on styling from time to time so he just lets them have their fun. Gene does like the hairstyles they do for him so he appreciates it.

-Naoko (aka Nekoette) does the same thing for him post 15 year time skip which Gene finds really adorable and sweet <3

-Also I just want to make it clear that Gene will not be the father of Naoko and Dmitri cuz I just don't think it really fits with where I want to take this AU

-So Naoko's dad abandons her and Nana when Naoko was a baby while Dmitri's dad actually does die before he was born.

-However, Gene does act like a father figure to the both of them and even helps Nana co-parent Naoko after Naoko's father leaves. Gene and Nana remain as friends though and that's it. No romance here peeps sorry not sorry.

-Gene and Nicole are also just friends but they're friendship gets ruined after they get into a heated argument regarding Nicole leaving for Scaleswind. It'll take a long while for them to resolve this issue of theirs and reconcile.

-During the 15 year time skip when people started coming back to Phoenix Drop to rebuild the village, Gene is very hesitant to take the role of head guard even though the other villagers want him too.

-To be fair the last time he was head guard of a village things didn't go so well...

-So yeah, Gene has a good reason to not really want to take the position of head guard. But he then he starts thinking about how the people of Phoenix Drop need someone to protect them. How Levin, who will soon become a lord, will need a head guard to serve and protect him by his side.

-Only then does Gene decide to take on the role of head guard because people need him and he wants to once and for all prove that he is once more worthy to be dubbed a head guard.

-It's a daunting task of course and past trauma keeps making Gene terrified that he'll mess up again and put his newfound family in great danger. He needs some reassurance that he's doing great at his job and eventually he does realize that he's good enough and makes an excellent head guard.

-Nana tells him that Dante would definitely be proud of the person Gene has become which makes him tear up but with like happy tears of course.

-This AU can be pretty much summed up as Gene getting a redemption arc (that's also written a bit better too cuz that redemption arc in Mystreet... def needs a little work is all I'm saying oof).

-But speaking of Dante, I finally figured out what I'm going to do with him in this AU!!

-I decided to just go all the way with the swapping and make him come back as a Shadow Knight. But since Shadow Knights don't age if they died (at least that's what I recall anyways) Dante here is still like 12 years old when he becomes one.

-Which is very fucking hilarious if you ask me because Dante will be Shad's right hand man like canon Gene so imagine being a Shadow Knight and having a middle schooler be your superior lmao.

-Sasha was absolutely floored by this when she woke up in the Nether as a freshly born Shadow Knight, learning that this literal child is the goddamn general of the Shadow Lord's army.

-Though she still respects him despite the wacky age difference between them lol.

-Also Big Sis Sasha moments because she knows in her heart that this kid definitely went through some shit if he ended up as a Shadow Knight. So even if Dante recoils at the thought of vulnerability, Sasha treats him like a little brother at times and gives him some comfort here and there when it's clear that the kid is especially stressed out.

-Sasha often wonders why Shad decided to turn a whole child into a Shadow Knight in the first place. And a part of her, the old her buried deep within, finds this whole thing disgusting but it's hard to notice with how buried said feeling is.

-Now why did Shad bring Dante back as a Shadow Knight even though he was just a little guy? Obviously because he was in a silly goofy mood duh.

-Nah but seriously, the reason why he did that was because he saw some sort of potential in Dante's restless spirit. He thought that the boy would be naive and therefore easy to manipulate. All he had to do was change up some of the kid's memories and he would have an excellent soldier by his side.

-So Shad messed with Dante's memories and made the kid believe that his older brother purposefully murdered him and had no remorse in doing so. This greatly upset Dante and so Shad took this as his chance to encourage Dante to get revenge on Gene and convinced the kiddo that he could do that by becoming a great and powerful Shadow Knight.

-Dante agreed as he felt such intense hatred towards Gene now and would do whatever it takes to enact vengeance against his big bro. Eventually, Dante became such a good Shadow Knight that Shad made the little dude the general of his army. He also saw Dante as his son so Dante highkey gets special privileges that other Shadow Knights don't.

-Those special privileges turned Dante into a spoiled brat so if people don't listen to him or if things don't go his way, he gets very fucking pissed which is def not good as he is no ordinary bratty kid. We're talking about a kid with Shadow Knight abilities that allow him to slaughter several people in the matter of seconds if he so chooses. He's general for a reason so it's best to keep him happy or else you'll certainly be dealing with a ticking time bomb.

-Would it be correct for me to say that Dante is a demon hellspawn child because that's pretty much what he is.

-And then there's Gene who's a sad, angsty and disheveled heap of a man which makes this AU almost perfect in my eyes lol.

-I don't remember if this is 100% canon or not but I think Shadow Knights can shapeshift to some extent because I remember Zenix doing something like that in S1. But anyways, I bring this up because Dante absolutely uses this power of his to make himself at least a little taller cuz dying at 12 meant that he never got to have any growth spurt so he died short (big L moment lmao).

-He does this mostly because he hates being so short but it's also because he wants to make himself look a bit older as there have been quite the few instances of newbie Shadow Knights not treating him with respect because of his age.

-For reference, Dante was like 5'1-5'2 when he died but he uses his shapeshifting abilities to make himself appear closer to 5'5 most of the time but sometimes he'll get lazy and some other Shadow Knights will be a little confused on why their general shrunk out of nowhere.

-But even with the shapeshifting, it's still easy for others to tell that Dante is a child simply because of the way he acts at times. No amount of shapeshifting can hide that after all lmao.

-Now here's an angsty thought for y'all, Laurance knew about Dante being a Shadow Knight before meeting Gene but obviously didn't know that Dante was Gene's brother. However, once Laurance found out about Gene's whole backstory he decides not to tell Gene about Dante being a Shadow Knight as he wants to spare Gene the grief.

-Laurance does tell Aphmau and Garroth about it who also decide that it would be in Gene's best interest if he didn't know about the whole Dante thing. They think that Gene finding out about it would ruin any healing he has done but they're also afraid how Gene would react to just hearing that info.

-But Gene eventually does find out about his little brother being a Shadow Knight after the 15 year time skip when Sasha gets taken into Phoenix Drop's prison. Sasha first taunts Laurance and Aphmau for hiding such information from Gene and warns them that it's only a matter of time before he finds out.

-And when Gene heads over to the prison to check up on Sasha, that's when the truth comes out. She outright tells Gene that there's something that his friends have been hiding from him and explains what that something is. Gene is baffled and doesn't want to believe it so he confronts Aphmau and Laurance about what Sasha told him.

-Aphmau and Laurance aren't too happy about Sasha exposing them like that but they also expected that this was something she might do after she gave them that warning. So yeah they confirm that what Sasha said about Dante was true which really upsets Gene.

-But like can you blame the man? Technically speaking, they've been hiding this information from him for 15 years which is a long time to be hiding the fact that his younger brother was back and now a Shadow Knight bent on revenge.

-Gene wouldn't want to talk to Aph and Laurance for a bit but in the meantime Nana is there to comfort him because learning such news was definitely not easy for Gene.

-Laurance and Aphmau understand that Gene needs some time to process all this so they respect his wishes and leave him be until he's ready to talk to them again.

-And they do!! It doesn't take Gene all too long to talk things out with Aph and Laurance so they're chill now.

-Gene also can understand why they didn't want to tell him about Dante as that news was pretty hard for Gene to grasp after all.

-Gene needs a really big hug because man am I putting him through the wringer right now oof.

-While Vylad didn't have many interactions with Dante in the Nether, I still imagine that Vylad knew enough about Dante to pity the kid. He knew that there was no way that Dante was always like this. He always assumed that Shad did something that turned Dante into this heartless Shadow Knight general.

-Laurance felt the same way and would actually try to get through to Dante during his initial time in the Nether but it was no use. Dante didn't listen to him one bit and still seemed ever so dedicated to the Shadow Lord.

-And then there's Zenix who would gladly punt Dante off the nearest cliff if he could. He absolutely hates Dante for the sole fact that a 12 year old boy is somehow more worthy of being general of the Shadow Lord's army over him. Zenix is very bitter and thinks Shad has lost his goddamn mind for choosing a damn kid to be his right hand man.

-Dante also hates Zenix as he doesn't like that the other is getting in the way of all of his plans. And as mentioned before, Dante can and will throw a massive (and dangerous) fit if things don't go his way. Also it's absolutely canon to the AU that Dante has at one point kicked Zenix in the balls while in the middle of an argument. It was very unprompted and out of the blue so poor Zenix never saw it coming until it happened.

-Queue Shad watching this happen and lowkey trying to resist the urge to not laugh hysterically (spoiler alert: he's doing very bad at that).

-Also canon to the AU is Shad being a proud father of his gremlin Shadow Knight son that bites people without hesitation and whose favorite hobby is committing arson.

Okay so instead of Tartarus, we have Mementos. Admittedly not as pithy of a name. Morgana is hoping to unlock the secret of their true form by exploring deeper into Mementos, delving into the collective subconscious.

Does Morgana not remember whether they are boy or gorl or other? That's very telling. By all means, if he feels like a boy, neat. But the fact that there are a lot of question marks around that makes me think once again that Morgana isn't human but is some manifestation of something from the collective unconsciousness, like Teddie was.

Also Morgana gives me massive Teddie vibes anyway. Oh, the annoying mascot character who I wind up liking a whole bunch? but a CAT THIS TIME instead of a white guy? Perfect.

Maybe Notigor is the Big Bad of the game while Morgana is the Big Good. Notigor represents confinement and false accusations and abuse of authority masquerading as "rehabilitation." Morgana has thus far enabled actual rehabilitation.

But we're so early on, who fucking knows. I am very interested in Morgana's arc tho. Like Teddie as the Star, Morgana's SLink is on a plot-progression time table, so I assume he's going to be tied to the themes of the story like Teddie was.

also the degree to which i mistrust this child cannot be overstated. FEAR ALL PRECOCIOUS CHILDREN. You better fucking not be the Justice arcana, child, i swear to fuck.

WOW Mishima's personality change now that Kamoshida is gone!!!!

Which: makes sense. He was one of the preferred punching bags and was the fucking grim reaper to his classmates, sending them to see Kamoshida for their daily beatings. Breaking loose from that would inspire a dramatic turn, easy.

He's the one who set up the Phan-Site (lmao, nice pun tbh) for the Thieves. He really really really wants to get in on helping them out and is, uh. Mildly overeager.

Moon arcana, huh. I'm being a nerd and staring at one of my own Moon cards rn.

Moon and Hanged Man are very similar in my eyes. Hanged Man is about the Choice but with the Moon, it's a place you find yourself eventually. When there has been a dramatic change in your life, the Moon represents the period of calm after. The usual depiction is of the Moon's reflection, actually, bouncing up from a pond or river, and drawing the attention of a fish or scorpion or something else.

The Moon is like staring into a mirror. It can help you understand yourself and become re-acquainted after a traumatic event. But it can also drag your journey to a halt and even lead you into madness if you don't figure out how to look away and understand what reality is.

Mishima has def been through the traumatic incident. My fear is that he throws himself too far into the Phan-Site thing and needs help clawing his way out.

do you have any practical advice/tips for someone looking to quit their job to take a break for a while (without anything lined up) who has no additional income streams (aka social media or youtube)? like as a normie, what are things I could do that you think are critical to making this work? (e.g., save X amount of money first, live at home if possible, etc)

also how to address the unemployment gap when you do start looking for jobs?

perhaps i'm not the right person to ask but if i were to advise without knowing the cost of living where you are, i'd look at your spending for the last year and see what the monthly avg in $$ is. i def spend less now that i don't make a FT income but that'll help project what your savings might want to look like.

not having bills while you're unemployed is optimal, so if living at home is not abhorrent to you i know several people in that position rn. for example i don't have a car so i really only consider my housing and healthcare reoccurring costs as the bulk of the bills i need to cover.

if you get to a point where unemployment is scary you can always take up lil gigs like dog walking, retail, etc. part time to recover some sanity.

one of my friends is a manager and she says the people they're interviewing many have been unemployed for 1-2 years now unintentionally, aka they've been job hunting the entire time but haven't found anything. so that makes me less concerned about how gaps will be perceived, the market has presented a lot of gaps in people's resumes.

As someone who is recently obsessed with hand-poked tattoos and doesnt use tiktok, THANK YOU for uploading that video of you practicing! There is like... not a lot of info on how to get started hand-poking the safe and sterile way online.

I had no idea what 'multiple passes' meant (and see people railing against it all the time) and couldnt figure out a way to hold the needle 😳 Wrapping it in tape is so smart and way safer than the other methods I've seen! A LOT of 'pros' are out there taping them to popsicle sticks or chopsticks... and re-using needles 😵 my tat artist wraps her tattoo machine in the same kind of tape, I don't know why I didn't think of it.

I am terrified of 'starting out' on my own skin so I've been trying to do as much research as possible on practicing the same way you would with a machine. Im going to buy the same supplies my tattoo artist has, but with a ton of fake skin, and practice on those for as long as I need to perfect the techniques and develop my style eventually.

Anyway I wish you luck on your hand-poke journey!! Your first stuff looks great already. Your vid encouraged & inspired me. I'll follow you on ig soon

thank you for this message it's v sweet :) i'm glad it helped and inspired you! if i'm honest i've had a lot going on in my personal life, mental health hasn't been great + also don't have stable housing rn so i haven't practiced in a little while, so this was a really nice message to read i appreciate it. hopefully i'll have the space to get back into it soon.

the guide i was following did suggest wrapping a popsicle stick to the needle (you see me use it to scoop the vaseline in the vid) but i found it didn't work for the way i hold the needle to poke. my tattoo artist used a popsicle stick when they did my arm tattoo, but i use tape. either way is fine just whatever works for u! i think the stick can help keep it steady and consistent, but it just doesn't feel right for the way i hold pencils etc when making art so i go with tape instead. re-using needles is obv a big no-no though, also if you're working on skin, whatever surface you're working on in the space should be sanitised and covered with cling film/saran wrap to make it as hygienic as possible - i just didnt do that with the fake skin bc i wasn't working with real skin. i'm not sure if they post internationally but i got my handpoke kit from here and they include a link to an informative guide by the seller who tattoos for a living. def recommend it if you're looking for some more insight and information

if you do follow my instagram i have a few videos of me practicing handpoke pinned as a highlight on my profile :) they're not as in-depth as the one i posted here, more like a little digital record so i can see how i improve as time goes on.

sorry if this is oversharing but here's my two cents ! i dated someone for 3 years who never put in the effort, never was the first to call, left me on read, never texted me first etc. It makes you MISERABLE. and i always had this idea of if i just said the right words they would change. if I told them enough times that i was unhappy and wanted more effort from them, they would start treating me right. they would always say they would do better, and then did the same.

there's no magic word combination. some people are just built like that forever, no matter how much u plead. it really makes u feel worthless after a while. unfortunately she sounds just the same. after we broke up i realised i only tolerated all that shit because i found them SO SO SO physically attractive. and it made me feel so good about myself...like look at me i can pull this absolute hottie...and i realised i was in love with that feeling more than i was in love w them or their personality.

Wayyyy back when that Pepsi stuff happened I was going off on here I was so mad at him it kind of made me fall out of the group for a while. I had to step back and just enjoy the music, not so much the people anymore, because AmeriThaiKong have all had a scandal, JB had that erotica scandal, and Yugyeom STILL continues to support a woman beater as his favorite singer. The only “scandal-free” (publicly) are Jinyoung and Youngjae. And all these are minor scandals, mind you. Most netizens consider them a scandal-free group.

Aghases are considered globally as one of the chillest kpop fandoms ever. I remember that day in 2017 vividly. I was even one of the people in his insta comments trying to peacefully explain why what he did was wrong, but he just felt attacked. Its understandable to see why he feels that way. He had thousands of people all (calmly) saying the same thing and asking for an apology, but he was not viewing or willing to admit that his actions were wrong. The comments he made to us were totally out of line, though.

But he’s def going through something rn. He’s been videotaped drunk or at parties like 10+ times in the last 1-2 years alone. And at his London concert he was literally walking around on stage with a bottle of Hennessy. It’s like deja vu of when Kanye West did it at the 2009 MTV VMAs.. and we all remember how that turned out.

He also concerned me when he was talking to Eric Nam on his podcast a few months ago about his depression and how he’s been drinking to cope. He seems to really be crying out for help and seems to be surrounded by yes men not really listening. Typical entertainment industry stuff :(

Like if I ever met him in person, he seems like an intelligent guy based off of multiple podcasts I have watched him on, so that’s gives me hope that he would be willing to listen and change if properly explained to. I also think he just realllllly wants someone to listen to him right now and seems to be stuck in contractual obligations so he’s drinking his problems away (allegedly. Based on video evidence. Don’t sue me Jackson Wang). I am disappointed with his actions from years ago but mostly I am just very concerned about him right now.

did i ever tell u guys abt how fucking insane working at a hotel was. i have photographic evidence of almost all of this, btw (if u wanna see free to ask lol. idk why u would tho)

i worked at a hotel for a good chunk of time directly after getting out of residential and i'm pretty sure it fucked me right back up

i was the only person there, besides the 2 or 3 housekeepers (who had their own work to do, they couldn't help me at all. i'm not mad abt that, tho. they had their own shit). i was running the hotel by myself essentially. 16, fresh out of residential, running this bitch myself. i was left alone on my 3rd shift.

my boss sucked for a handful of reasons. he was cheap. he whined on the phone to his parents a lot (he was in his early 20s), rarely helped when he was there, tried to get me to write a fake review for the hotel (which, if he just asked once, i wouldn't have rlly cared. but he kept pushing it and got mad at my answer. also lied abt it, saying everyone else did it when he hadn't even asked anybody else. he also asked my fucking parents???), wasn't even nice to the guests

the number of times i touched actual shit and piss was actually insane.

once this dude overflowed his toilet and sopped up the mess with towels. without saying what it was, he just handed the wad of wet, shitty towels to a housekeeper. that poor housekeeper was not wearing gloves. (i had to touch the shit towels next. thankfully i had time to get gloves)

someone shat their bed so violently it seeped through to the mattress. those sheets smelled so fucking bad. they also wiped their ass on a towel. no idea what was done abt the mattress

my last day, multiple people shit and pissed all over their sheets and comforters and towels. my boss made me bleach all of them and didn't help. the bleach combined with the piss made mustard gas and i felt like passing out.

people regularly let their dogs ruin rooms. a dog pissed all over a room once

someone left their dookie stained thong on the floor of their room once

too many people just left shit and piss in their toilet. they weren't clogged. just left there.

we had a lot of construction crews come stay there. one time we had this crew from new jersey i think. this one guy and his roommate would come down kinds regularly to ask questions. they weren't weirdos or anything, they were actually quite nice. but one time, one of the dudes came down alone and said "hey mamas" to me. i could tell that was just the way he talked, like he wasn't trying to hit on me or anything, but i was caught so off guard 😭 he was rlly nice, tho. he ended our convo with "appreciate you, mamas". if i remember right, he was asking me abt stuff he and his roommate could do with their girlfriends around town.

oh btw hotels do not normally wash their comforters, or at least, smaller hotels don't. so uhhh yeah don't use those

#it was also the place i had my first encounter with real life trans ppl in my town #i live in hickville minnesota basically #so minorities avoid here if they can help it #i met two seperate trans people working there and i think it was rlly good for me #just knowing trans ppl have in fact made it to adulthood and been able to transition living out here #they were chill ppl too
