Omg, I'm finally done with this illustration. I thought I'd never manage to finish it 😂

Rolan and/or Gale each wanting to show off for Tav with a display of magic but, instead of just doing it Tav in front of Tav, he puts on a little show of his magic for a group of people (the boy is nervous); he makes sure Tav gets the best spot in the audience, up towards the front and closer to him. However, when he inevitably glances over to gauge Tav's reaction, he catches Tav not looking admiringly around his display but instead admiringly at him.

I do see Rolan easily getting startled by Tav's admiring gaze... Tips of his ears get a lil hot maybe ✨. Also, did he do all this work to impress them for nothing?? At least they seem impressed...

The nail in the coffin of being down bad for Tav, would be them coming up to him afterwards and hugging him, before showing him in compliments. He boasts about his techniques, enough to have Cal and Lia roll their eyes, but you listen💕🌻. Catch the two of you ending the night later than anyone else, under the star light he shows you magic that's only meant for your eyes;;

Haarlep somehow meeting Tav's crummy ex?

Not very creative of me, I know, but... *baps it over towards you*

would he seduce and corrupt them to add their soul to his collection? 👀 hmmmm who knows... After all, Haarlep wants to be the only one who has ever touched Tav, to make sure he means so much to them that they'll never leave him.

I don't see Haarlep outright fighting someone, but if he were to, he'd probably summon his trusty imps ✨ still, with Haarleps playful nature, even that seems unlikely. Better play someone and win, and have fun while he's at it.

I'm a bit of a hopeless romantic when it comes to this, but there's two scenarios I like.

In nr 1 Haarlep is on good terms with Raphael, and once Raphael gets the Crown of Karsus, he extends some power to Haarlep's mortal who is now mortal no more. Said I was a hopeless romantic😅

Scenario nr 2 is running away together and living a life free from the Hells, free from masters. This can tie in very well with the backstory of Tav, if they have a history of not being entirely free.

As for what Haarlep wants and may daydream about... I think he is inclined to plan ahead, for himself, because the Hellls are a harsh place and he is a lover, not a fighter hahaha. Yet when it comes to the relationship, it may take him a while to include his sweet mortal in those plans. He daydreams of them, certainly! But is just not used to caring about someone other than himself (or maybe Raphael, but that is... Raphael). It's all a bit new and maybe not the easiest to include his biggest weak point (devils see mortal emotions as a weakness i think) in his Infernal schemes. After all, life in the Hells may be all he knows, but he knows his mortal isn't as well-equipped to deal with the climates of it, both social as temperature wise.

can I just say how heartbreaking it is that Halsin continuously doubts someone could love him? when he says "my heart does not stir lightly... but it does now" he actually has to take a moment to breathe and close his eyes. like he's scared to admit it. like once he opens his eyes, the PC will be gone. even during his romance scene, you have to encourage him that this was what you wanted and that when he goes into wildshape and back into his regular form, PC tells him "it's okay, now come here" like he's TERRIFIED of scaring the PC because he rambles and apologizes profusely.

and when you solo romance him/decide to leave with him post brain, he tells you in the epilogue:

"Yet you chose me", like he STILL can't believe pc could've picked him over ANYONE SIX MONTHS LATER. This man wants to be loved but STRUGGLES to believe it once someone actually loves him and it's so heartbreaking. He's just a gentle giant. (also thank you @autistichalsin bc you've encouraged me to start analyzing Halsin with your posts)
