Sorry for the delay in reply anon. I'm actually just a corporate collar acting my way as a temporary secretary every hard day's night, jobbing like a dog, 8 days a week in an English garden to afford a tan in the rain.

Potential Ango backstory. Because I like to make connections that don't exist.
I received a tag under my last post about Ango...
I have been enabled.
What I said in that last post was that due to the disconnect between Ango's values and the values of the Special Division - in particular, their views on necessary sacrifice and the greater good - I found it odd for this to be Ango's career choice. So, I have this theory... it's really more headcanon than anything but basically, I wonder if Ango didn't choose to work there, but rather had no choice.
First off, Ango being a government agent before he joined the Mafia means that he was already one under the age of 19... which is. Well, far from uncommon in the BSD universe but... does the government itself really not have age restrictions on potential members? Ango would've been younger than 19 when he started working for the Special Division. He was 22 ish in Dark Era, first met Oda and Dazai two years earlier, and joined the Mafia one year before that. I know we like to joke that the preferred hiring age in BSD is like... 14-15, but for the Mafia, this makes sense - there's no hiring age there; most of them are or were kids with nowhere else to go. Fukuzawa hires minors who typically also have nowhere to go. Ango was really young when he joined the Special Division. Since they would, at least, have to follow some laws (I believe anyways), the circumstances of Ango's joining were probably not the usual.
Here's another weird bit: the government sent a 19 year old spy to infiltrate the Mafia, one who was too low-ranked to have any say in decisions (he had no say in their sending in of Shibusawa, for instance). That's... weird, on it's own. He had no influence but they felt certain the man wouldn't betray them or get caught? That's a lot of faith to place in him. Now, granted, he's a very reliable person and his ability is absolutely the reason he was selected - but it's still strange.
You might be thinking, okay, but what about his replacement? Tachihara was sent in after Ango so the government could keep monitoring the mafia's activities, and he was a young, new recruit. Yes, that's true but see, here's the thing: Tachihara's nature as a Hunting Dog means the government has a guaranteed hold on him - Teruko mentions that the Hunting Dogs need to undergo monthly surgeries to maintain their bodies after their enhancements. I see no reason Tachihara wouldn't have had to do the same. So, in my mind, that goes to show that they needed some kind of hold on Ango too, right? Wouldn't you want some kind of insurance on someone so presumably new?
I'm going to cut away from this for a moment so I can point out a passage from Dark Era where Oda finds how Ango (allegedly) joined the Mafia:
The gist of it was: Ango was a hacker -> he helped a gang steal money -> the money was stolen from a Mafia front company -> Ango was on the run for several months before the Mafia caught him -> Ango's manipulation of the trackers' information was so impressive to Mori that he invited Ango to join the Mafia
Obviously, this is a cover story. But at the surface it kind of has to be true, otherwise the Mafia would know. So, it was set up for Ango to help steal that money by the government. Why this particular story though? Well, they say the best lies are often rooted in truth. Before he joined the Division, I suggest that Ango really was a hacker and seller of information. (Just fyi, his real life author inspiration was a bit of a delinquent so... make of that what you will.)
Now this next part is a mess because we still don't know how all the pieces fit together.
Remember that the Special Division, and by extension the government, are considered so incredibly powerful that they could destroy the Mafia. From Dark Era:
That legal document appears to be the only thing that keeps ability users reasonably safe. Atsushi was being tracked as the "rampaging tiger" and had nowhere else to go. What about people like Yosano or Chuuya, associated with military research? Even Kenji - he was hired after he moved a mountain out of grief. It appears that the permit is a necessary protection to those ability users who reveal they are ability users publicly.
In Gaiden, Tsujimura explains that the Division also continuously monitors the activities of ability users. Essentially, in addition to the legal protection the permits provide, they also seem to make the Division's job of keeping track of all ability users, what they're using their abilities for, and how dangerous the abilities are, much easier. We also know that if an ability user proves too great of a threat to the general public, the Special Division can and will eliminate targets unless the target proves especially useful (ex. Ayatsuji).
Ok why am I going over all this? I'm just trying to make it clear how incredibly powerful the Division is. But what I also want to denote is that they are focused primarily on the greater good and will justify sacrifice of individuals (which contradicts Ango's beliefs directly), and they also take orders still from higher ups in the government (and the government in bsd is... a bit shifty if you ask me).
And about Ango: his values lie in life and an appreciation for it. He prioritizes memory and records, especially of those who have passed. He has many regrets and is, at heart, a kind person. However, he also has the capacity to do what "needs to be done", seems particularly vengeful and angry with Sigma for Taneda's stabbing, and was ready to shoot Atsushi when he collapsed after the Sky Casino arc. He also went from making deliberate stubborn efforts to create records of the dead, to being part of the cover up for a group of disgraced soldiers and one of his closest friends. He does things because he thinks no one else can do them - so this means it is his obligation.
So, finally, here's my deranged conspiracy: I think Ango was a hacker in his teenage years, and I think he always had the intention of preserving life in some way. Perhaps he attempted to make information about the war, or something to do with ability users, public. Whatever he found, he got in serious trouble, whether with a criminal organization, or with the government itself, I'm not clear on. Ango needed to join the Division for protection, and perhaps it was Taneda's idea to invite him, seeing that his ability would be very useful - that would explain the loyalty. It's also possible that Ango's actions resulted in a loss of life, and so he no longer trusts himself, which is why he is constantly torn between opposing values. I wonder if it was explained to Ango by the people in charge why certain information had to be withheld from the public, in such a way that he felt guilty for what he'd done - maybe that's why he's so diligent. It would be tragic if guilt turned out to have always been the motivator for his character and if he stands with the Division despite his offset values because he really does think they know how to better help people than his instinctive response ever could. While I'm sure the Division was confident in Ango's loyalty (one of his dislikes is written as betrayal for goodness sake), they also had a hold on him due to the nature of his ability. He is a walking store of classified information, which we are told repeatedly in Dark Era makes him a prime target. This means that nowhere is safe for him unless he stays with the Division. There is no guarantee that the government itself wouldn't also consider him a liability if he were to suddenly quit. In summary, Ango's joining of the Division was not a free choice, and while he likely feels grateful to people like Taneda for that chance - he also cannot leave.
Regardless of whether or not you all think I am wholly deranged now, there is definitely something to Ango we're not privy to yet. Here's some extra stuff on Ango to chew on:
He had the experience once of taking in so much information he passed out while his brain tried to process it (much like Atsushi did after Sigma transfers the information to him about the Page)
He had some run-in with Chuuya which apparently led to Chuuya owing him for something?
He seems to have been more comfortable defying expectations in the Mafia than he ever was in the Division
Thus concludes my Ango theory.

hi tumblr user roseworth im desperately trying to figure out how old rose and eddie were by the end of their tenures in tt03 / how long they knew each other and it is... difficult especially because sooo much happened dc-event-wise during tt03. do you have any canon sources or noncanon thoughts on their ages beyond eddie being 17 in part of tt03 and rose being 14(?) when lilli dies ^_^
hiiiiii <3 unfortunately i dont have a great answer for this bc. comic timelines. but ill do my very best
so for rose the only time we get anything about her age in tt03 is in issue #0.5 (when she gets taken by slade) when it says that lili and slade met 18 years ago
so i assume that makes rose ~17 when she join slade (since lili would've been pregnant for 9 months after this)
we also get this panel saying that lili died 18 months before rose joins slade, putting her at around 15 or 16 when lili dies. iirc she was 14 when wintergreen sees her for the first time, so we can assume a year went by between wintergreen meeting lili and lili's death (if tt03 is to be believed! but deathstroke 1991 (annual #4) mentions that shes 14 when her mom dies)
anyways this also means that roy hired her as a live-in nanny when she was 16 years old which is really funny to me. but none of that matters; point is she was 17ish at the start of tt03
this is just my personal headcanon but i assume that the time between titans/yj graduation day -> infinite crisis is around a year, and if rose joins up with slade a little after graduation day then shes with him for just under a year
HOWEVER if we go by what slade says in nightwing #112, rose has only been with him for a few months
so based on that, rose is 17 (probably closer to 18) when she leaves slade
then infinite crisis happens and we skip to a year later! so shes 18/19 now. we dont get any specifics on her age but just for funsies we can assume that shes at least 18 since shes smoking and cyborg doesnt have a problem with it (he confiscates her alcohol but not her cigarettes), and the tobacco age in california in 2006 was 18
THEN it gets complicated. i dont have a source for this but i think theres supposed to be a year between oyl -> final crisis, making rose 19/20 by fresh hell (the secret reason she got kicked off the teen titans was because she wasnt a teen #adulthood)
also in fresh hell, she orders alcohol at a bar in canada (in the northwest territories where the drinking age is 19) so theoretically that makes her at least 19. though she never actually gets the drinks because she gets in a fight 2 seconds after this so she doesnt get carded so who knows!
from there. i dont have much. i assume that a full year doesnt go by from fresh hell to the end of the universe (if anyone knows how long bart & kon were dead for that might change things, but i assume we're not given any exact info on how long it was), so i would put rose at ~20 right before the new 52 happens!!
as for eddie, ill use the same tt03 timeline that i used for rose
like you mentioned, hes 17 in tt03 #42 (for reference rose is 18/19 at this time)
he didnt join the teen titans that long before this, we see him asking to join in 52 #51, which is like a week or two before tt03 #34 (the first tt issue after oyl) so its safe to assume that eddie is 17 when he joins the team
anyways after #42, i dont think we get any mention of his age? which is honestly kinda weird since his age is Very Important given that hes selling his soul to neron at 20. we should have an eddie's age tracker at all times
if we assume that hes 17 when he joins the teen titans and oyl -> final crisis is 1 year, then hes right around 18 or 19 when he dies
when he loses his powers then tries to make another contract to get them back in tt03 #68, kid eternity mentions that he'd have "a few years of superheroing," so him being 18 around this time makes sense
then he dies in #74 </3 no mention of his age anywhere but id say hes right around 18 when he dies
take all of this with a grain of salt bc a lot of this is just me making up timelines. but i personally think rose is 15 when her mom dies, 17 when slade takes her, 18 when she leaves slade, and 19 as of tt03 #34 (oyl). and eddie is 17 when he joins the team and 18 when he dies!

"Fuck, this tastes horrendous. Who bought this?" You asked your friend, Carol, as you looked over at her. She let out a small laugh as she took a sip. "Tommy did. He swore it's good, but I told him you wouldn't like it. "
You set down your cup and made a small gag noise. "God, I think I'll stay with the vodka for this."
Carol nodded. "Alright. I'll be back in a second. I wanna check where Tommy is."
You nodded softly and filled your cup up once more before pushing yourself through the crowd of people and onto the garden. There stood a group of people, surrounding a boy you've never seen on these parties before. But you rarely even went on parties so that wasn't a surprise.
He was upside down on top of a keg, seemingly drinking from it. It looks weird and a little stupid but you could see what was fun about it.
Your eyes scanned the group. They all counted as the boy kept going on and on. Once they reached the number 23, the boy got down and stood normally as he spit out the last bit of beer that was in his mouth.
Everyone cheered for him, clapping and whistling while also yelling his name through the garden.

It sounded interesting. But also so weirdly familiar.
You watched as a smile formed of your face, downing the drink in your cup happily.
Suddenly, some guy grabbed you by the shoulders and pushed you towards the keg. "(Y/n) should totally try it too!!"
You looked at the male behind you with a frown. You recognized him, but you couldn't seem to remember his name. "Fuck no, I'm not drinking that shit. I'm already dying from whatever shit Tommy-"
You couldn't even finish since everyone started cheering for you, which put some pressure on you. Said pressure got worse when that boy, Billy, smirked at you and spoke up. "Are you scared?"
And that was all it took.
You tossed aside your empty cup and took hold of the keg as you bit onto the hose, which would lead the beer into your mouth.
You raised yourself up onto the keg and started drinking.

You let the hose out of your mouth and got off of the keg, stumbling back a little, though some people caught you and held you up as everyone kept cheering like they had for Billy.
You panted as some leftover beer dripped from your lips and down your chin. You looked up just to be met with the icy blue eyes. What you didn't expect was for Billy to look so.... interested. He looked like he wanted to know more about you.
You pushed yourself off of the many people before making your way to stumble inside. The alcohol was rushing to your middle while the blood that had gathered in your head was going down into your feet again.
You weren't aware that Billy followed you until you had sat yourself in the bathroom and he closed the door.
You looked over at him and fought back a smile since you didn't want to seem like you were making fun of him. Though internally you kind of were.
"I'm impressed." He said, not sounding very genuine, but you weren't gonna argue over a compliment. Instead, you smiled as you let your head fall back just slightly as you could breath. "Thanks."
"Anyone else would've choked."
You looked at him again and smirked. "I'm not anyone else. I'm (Y/n). (Y/n) (L/n), actually." You explained to which Billy nodded.
"Billy Hargrove." He said measly. You nodded softly. And then the realization hit you as to why the name sounded so familiar.
"Mm I've heard a few things about you."
To that, Billy raised a brow and smirked. "Oh yeah? And what kind of things have you heard about me?"
You raised your hand and held up one finger slowly. "That you like to fight." You raised another. "That you're fucking angry all the time." And then your raised your third finger. "And that you're a really good kisser."
Billy laughed loudly at the last one. "And who the fuck told you that?"
You pointed your finger at him as you opened your mouth, wanting to reply. But you were so drunk from the keg and the vodka that you genuinely forgot. "I... don't remember."
You lowered your hand slowly and sighed softly. "God I hate alcohol."
Billy smiled and got a little closer to you, looking directly into your eyes. "Wanna test if that last rumor is true?"
Your heart skipped a beat as you looked down at him. Your lips suddenly felt so dry that you simply had to wet them with your tongue a little.
Billy laughed and raised a hand to put it behind your head, pulling you in to kiss your lips roughly, not holding back at all.
You closed your eyes as a soft hum escaped you. Moments later, you grabbed onto his shirt and let yourself fall into his arms. This only made him pull you closer, his hand cupping your ass.
One moment, you were just kissing, and the next, you suddenly had his tongue basically down your throat, though you weren't really complaining. It felt good. Really good.
You felt Billys hands travel up slowly, his hand sneaking under your shirt slowly. Suddenly, you grabbed his hand and pulled away. "S-Stop! Don't-"
Billy let his hand fall back onto your ass and pulled you closer again. "Relax. Only make out it is." He whispered before he went back to kissing you, his tongue meeting yours once again.
You continued this for about 10 minutes until a knock was heard on the door and you jumped off of Billy right before it opened and Carol peeked in.
"(Y/n)? Oh- Hi Billy! Are you two alright? I heard (Y/n) tried the keg thing and ran off to the bathroom afterward." She explained, to which Billy nodded.
"That's true. Beat my ass big time in it. And now the little thing isn't feeling all too well."
Right as he said this, your stomach twisted in a way that made you jump up and hang your head over the toilet, emptying your stomach out into it like your life depended on it.

Alicent said as she scanned the ink on the pages.
The two girls sat on the couch in the Targaryen's living room, with big heavy books on their laps and a few others books along side notes and textbooks scattered around them.
Saying that both were restless would've been an understatement.
Although alicent loved history, she was anxious about their final test, history.
Rhaenyra was restless just because that who she was, staying still was not one of her strong qualities.
The blonde laughed as her eyes scanned one of the closed book next to her fit, her own father's name printed on the side of it.
The books were pretty impressive, in viserys defense, Each book with the historical detail of each war and royal that ever lived, all printed together.
As the history man he was, he released a few of these along the years and somehow, like the gods had their own sense of humor, she ended up using them in class, all her classmates did.
at least she had the advantage of asking her father questions about it tho.
"Good to hear you think that, because we do have to remember basically everything he written about to our finals. or you somehow forgotten?" The blonde laughed and Alicent sigh.
"How could I forget" she said with her own laugh. The two shared a sweet smile before they returned to their notes.
music was playing from the kitchen, and rhaenyra hummed along.

Saying that Alicent was jealous of her friend will be an over exaggeration of things, but she did found herself longing for one thing her friend was blessed with
A functioning and loving family.
The Targaryen house was never truly quiet, she came to notice with times, it was either music from somewhere in the house, or video games from one of the boys's rooms, It could be yelling or laughing or crying, it was raw and lively and she wished for it for herself as well.
Luckily for her, Rhaenyra and her family took her in, basically, the moment they understood she was pretty much alone.
Her own father was absent for the most part, while rhaenyra's was very much present, and warm and he never failed showing alicent kindness like she was a part of his family too.
Aemma, rhaenyra mother was a nice woman, with kind heart, and a warm smile.
She had her own bakery, one that sold the most heavenly pastries in the city, and she always made sure alicent had eaten and had a good night sleep.
Alicent own mother died when alicent was 14, and a few weeks later, she and her father moved from oldtown to westroes, where she met the rebellious blonde that now sat opposite her.
Although, the Targaryen siblings were a whole other level off unfamiliarity for her.
While she only had one brother, who was in the army, and she barely saw, rhaenyra was the second oldest, out of six, the house was never truly quite.
Dany was the oldest, 21 at the time, while rhaenyra was getting closer to 19, then was aegon, at the age of 17, helaena who recently turned 15, aemond 14 and daeron who was 3.
Alicent's restless thoughts were cut off by a warm voice calling her name.
"Alicent I assume you're staying for dinner?" Viserys asked with a warm smile from the entrance of the living room.
The brunette smiled back "id love to"
He nodded as it was obvious for him and looked at his own daughter, that was glaring at the book in her lap, alicent noticed it was the page that explained the death of queen rhaenyra.
"I still dont get why you called me after this queen" she huffed and viserys smiled at his annoyed daughter and sat on the armchair near them before taking the book and reading the paragraph who made her upset.
The blonde girl was pouting and alicent heart skipped a beat.
"The queen was brave, and strong and fierce. the realm delight, they called her" he explained
Rhaenyra's eyes trained on him, a frown on her lips.
"I wouldn't say I'm such a delight" she huffed and alicent giggled
"Couldn't agree more" she said and rhaenyra glared at her.
"Rude" the blonde shoved her softly.
Viserys looked at the two with amusement like if he knew something the two didn't know.
"I think im just a bit annoyed she was all of that but yet she ended up dying horribly, and it was basically because she was a woman, how is that fair"
alicent eyes scanned her friend features with her own curiosity. Rhaenyra was genuinely upset, and Alicent thought the wrinkle in her nose was cute.
The way she saw that, Rhaenyra was stubborn and fierce, and brave and strong just like the queen, and if the stories were true, she was as beautiful as her as well
"Its not, but it didn't change who she was, she was all of that, yet she was still a woman in a time that for many it was a bizarre idea to see a woman on the iron throne" he said back before looking down at the book.
"Why you wining again? Just be greatfull he didn't name you after a crazy queen" daenerys said from behind the girls.
Alicent jumped in surprise and rhaenyra laughed at her reaction before looking back at her older sister with a glare.
"Queen daenerys was-" the man started to say but got cut off by his oldest
"a woman that lost too much" she finished.
He nodded, and alicent thought about it for a second before speaking up.
"She was incredibly powerful and caring, and she freed many people from slavery, if I remember correctly, she was a good woman"
"She was" viserys said
"But then she burned thousands of innocents, so it kinda set the scale" rhaenyra said.
"Yeah, i guess it kinda does" alicent said as she put her own book down
"But its a lesson for us" viserys said and caught their attention
"Even the best people aren't immune to tragedy and trauma, they might even be less immune then the wicked"
"Point taken" dany said
"be bad or go mad" rhaenyra summed up and the man sighed.
"Or drop dead" dany finished and the sisters high faved.
"Dear gods" alicent said with an amused smile.
"That was lovely, anyways. not to be a buzz killer but the reason im here is because Mom sent me to get you, food's ready"
Dany finally said, pushing any more of the dreadful subject away

"You can stay the night if you want, my parents wont mind"
Rhaenyra said when she walked Alicent to the door.
"i know, and i appreciate it, but I can't. Dad's coming home tomorrow so i need to make sure the house looks alright, plus you're murmuring in your sleep its a bit distracting" she jokingly said
"First: your dad's an ass for leaving you alone all of the time, and second, rude!"
The blonde said and Alicent wanted to agree, because he kinda was, especially towards Rhaenyra who was nothing but wonderful to her.
"Don't be mean"
"Im not, i just hate to see you like this, you deserve more" the short girl admitted.
"I know, but its not forever" alicent smiled sadly.
Soon they'll be out of school, and do whatever they want.
The two girl got accepted to various universities but decided to take a gap year to travel, and they couldn't wait to do that, just them, traveling without anyone else, traveling the world and eating only cake.
The two stood in the balcony, the moon light reflected on Alicent's face, and Rhaenyra couldn't stop but appreciate the curves of her lips or the sparkling of her eyes, and moment later, the way she tried to stop herself from shivering.
Although they were gettin close to the summer, some evenings were still a bit cold, and all alicent wore was a pair of jeans and a t shirt, not warming enough for that evening.
rhaenyra frowned and took her jacket off in seconds before pulling it over the tall girl's shoulder.
"How cheesy of you, have you learned that from your uncle? Is that how you pick on girls?" Alicent joked, but her cheeks warmed up and she kinda hoped Rhaenyra wouldn't notice (she did, she noticed everything about Alicent)
"Maybe, did it work?" Rhaenyra smirked and alicent laughed before she hugged her tightly.
"Goodnight Rhaenyra, and thank you"
"Let me know you're home safe"
"I will!"
And then she was gone, and Rhaenyra was standing on the balcony with only a t-shirt.
She stood there until the door was open and Aegean stood there with a knowing smirk "ask her out already, will you?"
"Shut up"

The next time you walk off the Razor Crest, it’s with wobbly legs and a pleasant ache between your hip bones. All of your fantasies surrounding sex with Mando didn’t involve stumbling into the dry heat while he came up from behind to steady you as you stepped off the ramp. It’s nice, his attentiveness. Almost... domestic.
Straightened up with all your clothes back on, you adjust to the weight of your utility belt as you walk, the darksaber now clipped at your side. It’s weird to think of it as belonging to you. Are you allowed? That whole thing with Bo-Katan was really tense, but now you realize she's not here to glare you to death if you decide to wield it.
Experimentally, you unclip the darksaber and ignite it, giving it a twirl. It’s lightweight, crackling with volatile energy, altogether a considerably less terrifying weapon when you’re not staring down its business end. Mando glances over at you messing around with the monumentally important laser sword, shaking his head at the whooshing noises you make with your mouth to imitate it.
“Careful with that. It makes you the rightful ruler of Mandalore. Wouldn't wanna break it,” he says, footfalls deadly silent next to your clunky tread.
“Or amputate myself,” you remark, not even acknowledging the “ruler of Mandalore” comment. You’re going to not think about that for as long as you possibly can. Just enjoy the laser sword. You do an X-shaped spin around both sides of your body, surprised at how easy the motions feel. Like second nature.
“Why does Bo-Katan even want to rule Mandalore? Isn't it basically uninhabitable?” You ask when you’re done karking around, sheathing the saber and spinning the hilt in your hand before reclipping it.
He shrugs. “The domes seem to work for the most part. But I don’t think her people took too kindly to being exiled from their home planet.”
You’re quiet, noticing the beginnings of town in the distance. Mando parked the Razor Crest much farther than he usually does, and you can see several ships scattered in front of the entrance to the city. You’re watching them grow bigger when something clicks in your head.
“You’re not from Mandalore,” you say aloud. It seems obvious now, but it wasn’t something that ever occurred to you in the past. With all your reclaimed memories, you’ve still only ever met one Mandalorian, and you assumed all of them were just the same as him. Strong, swift. Deadly. No reason to dwell on whether they’re all from the same planet or not.
He nods. “I was a foundling. Taken in by order of Creed.”
The sun is burning on the back of your neck, and you momentarily wish you had the coverings he does, even though he’s probably sweating up his own ecosystem. You fan yourself dramatically, contemplating.
“So… you probably don't know much about the politics on Mandalore then?” you ask, wiping the sweat from your forehead and trying not to sound put out. While you don't expect Mando of all people to be knowledgeable in that area, it would've been nice if at least one of you had some idea of what you're facing.
Mando’s silent for so long that you almost worry he isn't going to speak at all before you reach town, when he finally says, “That planet is cursed. Anyone who goes there dies." A pause. Well, that sounds promising. "Bo-Katan will stop at nothing to achieve her goals. I’ve seen it. And I would be careful mesh’la, not to make any careless mistakes again.”
There it is. The admonishment you've been looking for. It stings a bit, of course, but really you deserve worse. Nodding, you inspect the chipped paint job on one of the ships as you pass by.
Greef Karga and Cara Dune are already waiting outside the cantina, the child’s pram stationed alongside them, open to showcase the little green monster. Your heart rate speeds up at the sight of him, bundled in his burlap sack.
Your friends nod at you, seeming... different. Closed off. You can see it in their body language, sense it in the air. They’re not thrilled by your presence for some reason, and you feel a little hurt but don’t let it show. They deserve nothing but your gratitude, even if they resent you now. This is good. Someone needs to be properly mad at you, if Mando refuses to be.
You smile, walking up to the baby and reaching out with the Force, surprising him. The last time he saw you, you weren't nearly this aware of yourself. He coos in delight, and your heart soars. At least one person's happy to see you.
Cara and Karga sort of shuffle off to the side to speak with Mando, and you pick the child up from the pram, stroking his ears as he emits a short purr. He reaches for your face, placing a tiny clawed hand on your cheek as your eyes close.
“Hi. I’m sorry I was gone so long,” you murmur, and he coos. He can feel the conflict inside you, a quiet storm that’s been raging unchecked. Sadness. Elation. Guilt. Exhaustion. It’s all assuaged by his tiny touch. You were so sure you would never see him again, and here he is, small and infinite in his forgiveness. You quickly glance over at his dad, who’s already looking over at the two of you discreetly, checking on you. There’s a swelling in your chest, and you know that you don’t deserve them. You just don’t.
Turning back to the child, he gurgles. He missed you. It occurs to you in this moment that he’ll likely outlive you by potential centuries, but you will never stop caring for him as your own. Will protect him no matter what. Will never leave him again. The kid is special, that’s never been in doubt, but despite the mysterious nature of his strength in the Force, he brings out strong maternal feelings in you. Feelings you never thought you were capable of having.
“Do I want kids?” you ask out loud in surprise, and he giggles. Though your hands are already full with the one, the idea is sort of appealing. Mando is still deep in conversation, but you take in his stance, body turned toward you and the kid, hyper aware of your positioning. He’s a good dad, and he’s also the only one you want to parent with if that’s what’s in your future. If you asked him what he thought of having more kids, what would he say?
“What do you think? Do you want a little sibling?” you ask the child, and sense his curiosity at how that would be achieved. Time to change the subject.
“I heard you got into a little adventure while I was away,” you say quickly. He projects an image into your mind, the face of a female Togruta bathed in firelight, smiling sadly. This wasn't exactly what you had in mind. Then, he projects a name. Ahsoka. Ahsoka?
Oh. It’s the Jedi that Mando was telling you about. You study her in your mind's eye, memorizing her sharp, pretty features before they fade away. He plays a memory for you, and you can hear Ahsoka telling Mando something. The child’s name.
“Grogu,” you murmur curiously after your ears pop, and he snuffles. Strange name. Fit for a strange creature.
“Well, at least now I have something to call you other than ‘The Child.’ It was getting hard to come up with different things to call you when I tell people what a troublemaker you are,” you tell him, smiling. You notice the others have gone quiet, their conversation stalling.
When you peek up, they’re already staring at you. “Everything alright?”
Karga clears his throat, and your heart sinks when you realize he won’t look you in the eyes.
“Of course, me and Cara just have some business to attend to. Always nice to see you two,” he says stiffly. Your smile is pained, but it stays plastered on as Cara nods, and they make their exit. Mando walks over and puts an arm around your shoulder, gently leading you in the opposite direction, back to the Crest. Back home.
“Didn’t seem nice,” you mutter, and Grogu flicks his gaze up at you, humming softly. Mando’s silent.
You shuffle along to the ship, empty cradle floating behind you as the kid rests in your arms. Whoever had him while Mando dealt with you must have entertained him thoroughly, because he’s obviously dead tired. Grogu’s eyes slip shut, and he’s fast asleep before you’re halfway home.

Sitting in the cockpit again with Mando feels like a luxury. Grogu is still sleeping, and you set him down in his hammock before you follow his dad up the ladder. The stars flying past your eyes are like freedom, the drone of hyperspace music to your ears. It’s weird how things feel the same as they did before you left, when they really couldn’t be more different. You sink back into the uncomfortable co-pilot’s chair, for the first time glad you’ve left Nevarro’s atmosphere.
“Karga gave you new bounties?” you ask, and Mando nods. There’s something else. It doesn’t feel tense exactly, but you can tell something’s bothering him. Something he’d rather keep from you. That won’t do. You stand and perch yourself across his thighs, enjoying the way his hands automatically come up to cradle you, breath catching in surprise.
“What’s wrong?” you ask pointedly.
He exhales tiredly. “Nothing gets past you, pretty girl.” You put an arm around his shoulders and press your forehead to the side of his helmet.
“Nope,” you say, popping the p. “Not anymore. Magic powers and all that. So are you gonna tell me, tin man?” He’s quiet, and you start to worry that maybe you overstepped. Your fingers trace the outline of his cuirass while you attempt to tamp down your anxiety. Your obsessive need to know what’s going on at all times is getting in your way again, but you figure that at this point you might as well embrace it. Doesn’t seem like it’s going away anytime soon.
“It’s Bo-Katan,” he says finally. You roll your eyes. Another colossal problem to deal with, but it’s nothing you weren’t expecting. You had just hoped you’d have a little more time to savor your family reunion before you were torn apart by crazy bantha shit again.
“Let me guess. She has a bounty out for me?” You laugh a little, but he’s quiet for too long and you freeze. “Does she?”
“No, cyar’ika. You’re with me. She won’t touch you.” You relax, but he hesitates. “She’s just… mad.”
Shrugging off bad news as usual, you try to sound nonchalant. “Well, yeah. We already knew that.”
Mando shifts, and you suddenly worry that you’re too heavy to be sitting in his lap and he’s just too polite to say anything. “Bo-Katan is unpredictable. They’re worried about what her next move will be, now that you have the darksaber.”
“Cara and Karga?” He nods. No wonder they were being so weird. They probably have a lot to deal with in the aftermath of the rescue, and you being in contest with a warrior like Bo-Katan cannot make matters easier for them. If you hadn’t lived through the past week yourself, you would’ve thought someone had died, the way they were acting outside the cantina. Your predicament is probably the next best thing.
“Like you said, I’m with you. She won’t do anything unless she wants an ass-whooping.” You know that in the grand scheme of things, this probably isn’t true, but you’re nothing if not an everlasting bluffer.
Mando tucks an errant hair behind your ear. “She's a Mandalorian, with nothing to lose by challenging you. I’m just one person. You have too much confidence in me, mesh’la. ” The endearment makes your heart skip a beat, even if you still don’t know what he’s calling you.
“I have just the right amount of confidence,” you purr, nuzzling into the cloth on his neck. Inhaling deeply, you relish his scent. Sweet and musky, with the tang of sweat. You would drown in him if you could.
He hums, pulling you closer. You hide away in his body, vibrating with contentment. However your friends feel about you now, worried or upset or whatever, you still have Mando and Grogu. They at least still want you around, for whatever insane reason. They’ve still forgiven you.
“What did Cara end up doing with Gideon?” you ask, muffled by his cloak. He shrugs.
“Didn’t ask. Probably turned him into the New Republic. Bottom line is, he can’t hurt you anymore.” You feel warm at his statement, toying with any loose fabric you can get your hands on.
“Whoever made Cara a Marshal must be really patting themselves on the back for that hire, huh?” He chuckles, rubbing your upper arm until you get goosebumps. You bite your bottom lip, picking at the chapped skin between your teeth. Your fingers crawl up until you can pull down the fabric hiding his beautiful neck, lips grazing the skin there.
“Cyar’e,” he murmurs. His hand covers your thigh, squeezing it, and you shiver.
Pulling away from the magnificent stubble dusting his throat, you ask, “Are you ever going to tell me what that means?” Mando hesitates, and you pinch him after he’s taken too long to answer.
“I could always just show you.” His voice is lusty, gloved hand traveling upward, but you stop him with a sly smile. Seduction isn’t going to get him out of this one. Not if you can help it.
“Tempting. I’d like to know what it means, boss. In Basic, please.” You’re starting to understand what he likes to hear, if the way his grip on you tightens is any indicator.
“I’m sure you can guess,” he mumbles, and you suddenly realize he’s being bashful. His pulse is racing, and the idea of someone as inconsequential as you making a Mandalorian nervous makes you heady with affection. You have such deep, infinite fondness for him, and he doesn’t even know.
“Aw, gee Mando, are you blushing under there?” you tease, fingers grazing the side of his neck and climbing towards his helmet. His hand comes up to stop you, and you startle a little. The sudden shift in mood is palpable. You could cut the tension with a vibro. You didn’t mean anything by the miniscule action, but now you can see what it looks like you were trying to do. Before you can explain yourself, Mando speaks.
“Close your eyes.” Um, okay. Interesting. You obey, heart stopping completely when he guides you to the edge of his helmet, fingers brushing the cool metal. He helps you find the release, the soft hiss nearly inaudible, not unlike your breathing right now.
When his exhalation grazes your cheek, you feel… honored, above all the thousands of other emotions you’re feeling right now. He leans into you, releasing your hand so he can tilt your chin towards him, mouth brushing yours feather-light. Yeah, you’re not breathing anymore. Your heart is beating out of your chest, and all you can focus on is the feeling of his dry lips pressing chastely to yours, facial hair brushing your skin as you struggle not to start hyperventilating. This is somehow more intimate and tender than all the other things you’ve shared in the past few days. It’s like touching him in the dark compartment, another mental map for you to commit to memory and explore during idle moments.
Unfortunately, it’s short, the kiss. Way too short. It’s like as soon as it’s happened it’s over, his helmet falling back into place. You want more, but can’t even begin to even think about articulating your desires, rendered speechless. He’s still cradling your face, thumb rubbing over your skin affectionately.
“That’s what it means,” he says, and you don’t ask for more explanations after that. That’s all the explanation you'll ever need.

Looking at what the wiki says, it doesn't look like Alvar and Jolie would have ever met. If Jolie died at age 20, sixteen years before the first book, and Alvar was 25-26 in the first book, he would have only been 9 or 10, and I believe he joined the neverseen at age 15 (maybe...the wiki doesn't mention when Alvar joined and I don't remember whether or not that's actually canon).
ohhhhhh LMAO I AM A FUCKING DUMBASS. i thought jolie died at sixteen??? and then sophie came along sixteen years later?? but now that you point it out there's literally no way that first part's true because she was in level 8 when she died - we see a picture of her in the silver unicorn level 8 uniform in... book 3, i believe? or maybe it was book 1 or maybe even book 2, idek anymore - and the typical level 16 year olds are in at foxfire is level five. keefe's sixteen and in level six but he skipped a grade so he's just on the Extra Young Side for his grade. but fitz is a nice benchmark though since he's never skipped a grade. he's seventeen and in level six. which probably means, if my brain is mathing right, levels sixes are typically seventeen to eighteen. the elvin equivalent of senior year. with that in mind, level seven must be (typically) eighteen to nineteen year olds, and level 8 is probably nineteen to twenty year olds. so you saying jolie was twenty when she died makes sense! thank you for correcting a mistake i hadn't realized i was making for the past... 4ish years. wow. i've been obsessed with this series for a concerning amount of time smh-
anyway. onto alvar. from the looks of it, yeah, alvar and jolie never would've met in the neverseen. the age gap's too wide. i honestly don't know exactly how old alvar was when he joined the neverseen, because i remember the books saying he was twelve, but everyone else on here says 14-15. 14-15 is a lot more reasonable than twelve, but i recall fintan (i think it was fintan) trying to sell how alvar basically held the record for joining the neverseen at the youngest age. and sophie got roped into all sorts of crazy shit when she was just twelve, and fitz got sucked into the search when he was six, so i wouldn't be surprised if shannon was like "yeah let's go for another way-too-young-age-to-get-involved-in-shady-schemes for dramatic effect." but the age range of 12-15 is what i've stuck with for him joining the neverseen when i think about it. and i'll trust your numbers of him being 25-26 in book 1 and him being 9-10 when jolie died, too.
so. no alvar and jolie being neverseen buddies, unfortunately. but jolie hanging out with alvar when he was little and them becoming buds in the way kids with parents that are friends do is in the cards. maybe jolie could've been part of why walking in 12 inch stillettos is a punishment della deals out every now and then. maybe jolie and alvar played base quest together. maybe jolie and alvar played with gremlins for hours on end. maybe they were friends. maybe alvar cried and cried when he found out she died. maybe she was like the older sister he never had. maybe. maybe.
but regardless of what did and didn't happen within the bonds and bounds of canon, thank you for helping me figure shit out with the pre-canon timeline. i appreciate it :) /gen

The Power of Six Thoughts(not in order)
1 Crayton is a badass. He's so underrated. How could anyone forget how amazing his introduction was? Dude had rapid fire, automatic pistols. And was tough af. A welcome change after the previous Cêpan we've seen were pretty incompetent and not so great at fighting. Adelina included. And Henri. Sorry, Henri. Crayton and Conrad were the best fighters out of the Gardes' Cêpan. Especially Crayton.
2 Ella calling Crayton Papa is pretty cool. I kinda hate how none of the other Garde called their Cêpan as dad or mom. These kids were raised by them and hardly remember Lorien. Come on. Call Henri Dad, John. Haha.
3 How long were Crayton and Ella in Spain?
4 Marina is friends with an older man, Hector. This would NOT slide in 2022. A minor girl being with an older man will be seen as different.
5 Adelina died pointlessly. Marina had telekinesis and superspeed. Why tf couldn't she throw something at the Mogadorian with her mind or something? I don't get it. Bad writing. Forced drama.
6 Adelina is toxic as hell. Reading this is 2022 hits different now that people are more alert to abuse in general. I want to say screw Adelina. Seriously. The worst Cêpan for sure.
7 If Adelina just accepted Crayton into her life, she probably would've survived.
8 Six's past is not consistent with Six's Legacy novella. What she told John and Sam in the train is different from what actually happened. Why the hell didn't the writers of that novella read what actually happened in The Power of Six? They didn't read what Six told John and Sam, apparently. Sigh.
9 The police station fight scene was awesome. I loved it how John picked up a regular human pistol to kill Mogadorians. That detective threw a pencil at John. Police brutality. And screwed up. After that scene, Six says the Mogadorians almost killed her after John left with Sam in Paradise. What? Can't she turn invisible? How did Mogs almost kill her if they couldn't see her? The writers could've just not made Six say that.
10 Time issue. While Marina is fighting Mogadorians in Spain, Six is still in America. She takes a plane to Spain, but gets there when Marina is still fighting. This makes zero sense. Why did Crayton lie in the first place about Ella being Number Ten? I don't think TFOF gave a reason. Anyway, it was stupid. Forced drama just for the sake of it. Ella not being a number didn't even change anything in the grand scheme of things, besides make her sad for one chapter.
12 Sister Dora paddled Ella. When Marina couldn't find her afterwards, I was thinking Ella aged up and Marina didn't recognize her(I spoiled the book before actually reading it. I knew Ella could change ages)
13 Marina says the Loric spaceship came to Earth in a storm of its own creation. The writers forgot about this, like they forgot Marina developed superspeed in this book. Like, later, Marina sprints and Ella matches her pace. Bro what? If Marina has superspeed, Ella shouldn't be able to keep up.
14 John gets paralyzed outside the burning house. He imagines the Mog killing him and then them moving on to kill Five. Five is a traitor. Would the Mogs have killed John/Four and then murdered Five because he's next in line for the charm? Even though he's working for them? Interesting question.
15 What happened to Legacy the cat? And did Marina's town get destroyed or just some of it? How tf do the Mogadorians have rockets? Why tf did Marina think Crayton was a Mogadorian? They don't look like Loric. Sigh, the errors, man. The errors...

Critique of a manga I'm reading under the cut. I hope this doesn't turn up in the tag because I had to mention the title... I like it overall, I just need to vent about one aspect of it.
I've started volume two of That Blue Sky Feeling. I like it so far but it's really bothering me that the secondary main character has a 26-year-old ex. Maybe the characters are older than the cutesy style makes them look? I thought they were 14 or 15 but idk...
The adult is kind and gives the MC advice about sexualities but it would be so much better if he had just been the target of an unrequited crush who refused to date a teen! That would've achieved the same goal of hinting that the MC will be his friend's type one day.
There's a huge difference between 'older friend of the main characters who lets them hang out at his place, sets boundaries and only gives advice about romance and sex when asked' and 'adult ex of a kid who invites the MC out for a meal but instead leads him to his home and cooks for him because he thinks the MC would prefer to talk somewhere private then tries to nudge the MC and his ex into a romance'
If I've remembering well, I enjoyed some of the author's other work and I think he's nailed some common queer life experiences in his other projects but I feel like he probably has a lot of young fans that might need an afterword that says something like 'I accidentally gave this character a lot of red flags; if an adult who has dated kids in the past tricks you into going into their home alone, you probably shouldn't trust them.'
Coming of age stories (especially queer ones) need more intergenerational friendships (Our Dreams at Dusk did that well) so I feel like I shouldn't complain but it's really hard to get past. I'm hoping he'll retcon the dating thing and have a reasonable explanation like they chatted online but when they met up the unexpected age gap put them off each other and they just stayed friends.

Weird dn related questions! What do you think Light’s first kiss was like/who was it with? How long do you think L or Light can go without any mental stimulation (I always wonder how Light dealt with boredom during confinement.) L and Light’s Least favorite foods. Any ideas about what Light is BAD at? He can sew, has a genius intellect so school is easy, he’s good at logic puzzles, sports, socializing etc… he must suck at SOMETHING!

I think L just went around kissing anybody who let him between the ages of 12-19 LMAO. He got very good at it tho which Light appreciates. But his first kiss was probably weird and the most autistic a first kiss can be lmao. Like grabbing this person by the shoulders and smacking their lips together. Teeth digging into their lips and just standing there not moving. L at the time didnt see the appeal of kissing another person but it seemed like everyone enjoyed it so he continued kissing anyone who said yes until he found the appeal and then he just kept doing it because it was fun.
Light's first kiss was only one of three before he met L i think, the third one being Misa LMAO. I thiiink i saw this from @translightyagami but i could be entirely wrong tbh. But I like to think his first kiss was in a game of 7 minutes in heaven when he was shoved, as a joke, in a closet with a boy. I think he probably would've been 13/14/15. He kissed the boy because "it's part of the rules." and the other boy kissed back before Light tilted his head and was shoved against the wall. So they sat silently for the remaining 5 minutes. (if you want to know his second kiss, it was definitely with a girl when he was like 16 outside in a quiet area at the park. He did not like it and called the girl a name before leaving her alone)
As any neurodivergent people, Light and L can go awhile without outside mental stimuli. Because they are stupid geniuses and will create a game or anything inside their head. I imagine during Light's confinement, he played games by himself. Also I think L probably entertained the games a little. Light would count how many bricks were in his cell, how many bars there were, how many times Ryuk bothered him, etc. L and Light would play 20 questions and they've stumped each other a few times by the 20 question mark. Light would also tell him some stories from his childhood and sometimes L would tell him he's lying and Light would laugh and ask him how he knew. I think they stimulated each other during that period. Also probably some nsfw things LMAO
L and Light's least favorite food, hmmm. L prefers not to eat normal nutritional food, lol we love scurvy! anyway he probably hates shrimp and has a distaste for fish which Light teases him about because he's in Japan and raw fish is kind of a Big Thing there. He probably also hates Thyme and Parsley. Messes with his sensory issues. Also doesnt like spicy food.
Light loves spicy food i bet. But he probably doesn't hate much, i see him as like someone really into food and cooking. He pretends to hate sweets and stuff but he doesn't, although he doesn't like ice cream that much. like he'd pick someone over ice cream but he'd still eat it. i think he hates oysters lol
Finally, yes Light must suck at something. He's even a fucking gamer. Why can't he be bad at anything, the absolute loser. But i bet he's bad at beer pong. He's a somewhat light-weight and he isnt even good at it when he first starts either. Also i think he's bad at drawing, like personally i never say anyone is bad at art, but i think he is. he over analyzes everything and doesnt put emotion to it. if he does draw, which he doesnt, he could get good at it but it would just be like boring and no emotion or feeling behind it. so. he's bad at art and beer pong in my head apparently. LMAO

Myles is such a little shit tbh. Like imagine you're a genius, like a certified genius, with like a shit ton of life experience cause you've been through hell and back and you've seen death mutiple times and have been traumatized and saved the world multiple times and been close to death to many times to count have seen your mother go into insanity and your father die. So you're just done with life at this point, you're just a tired person. And you go to a university to give a lecture because you're a certified genius with three doctorates, and you're little brother who's like 15-18 years younger then you (depending on whether you think legally or physically) right, he's like 6 years old or something and he sneaks into the audience and starts like bullying you from the audience and insulting your scientific theory. And then you go to space and he sends you a message insulting you and your theory as your on way you to mars. Like. I would not be able to handle a brother like myles, artemis must be the most patient man on the planet to deal with him on a daily basis for years and never hurt him. Would've turned that rocket ship around to slap him. Maybe that's what his whole development lead to in the books. Maybe all the growth he went through was to help him not physically or emotionally destroy his little brother. I like to think if artemis had have to deal with myles when he was 12 he would've been verbally bullying him all the time while now he's just like tiredly nodding along like "yea ok."

Like artemis is the only fowl to ever befriend or help fairies. Also stop saying friends forever artemis fowl the second would never say that and it reminds me to much of the movie. Also it has not been long it's been a few years, not even a generation. Alright artemis being a cute protective brother and myles being a little shit like "god we could only die. Stop being so emotional brother." Is the content I wanted. Why can't artemis be in the books? Like I just want some good sibling interactions. Also like artemis is around 10 years older then the twins. I know technically he's older because of the fifth book but he must feel around ten years older then them. He was 14 when he first met them and they were toddlers. Plus his parents seem to never be around, basically every time we see the twins they're home alone or with juliet or artemis or something. So he must've felt super protective of them, especially considering he went through so much trauma himself he would've wanted to prevent his little brothers from going through that. Like the few scenes we get with him and the twins in the artemis fowl series and this book is nothing but him being a very protective care giver. The very first scene with him and the twins, this is literal weeks after him meeting them, he's teaching them stuff and finger painting with them despite him hate doing messy or childish things, and he also programs myles toy monkey to have phrases and respond to myles. This is a little bit after he meets them meaning that he basically came home after 4 years of his life gone. He literally lost four years of his life he will never get back. Found out his parents immediately had children (I would've felt like they had replaced me.) And that he had two little brothers. And his immidete reaction was to make sure they were happy and to play with them and teach them new things and make toys for them. Like damn. Then in the 7th book he tells his mother that this will the last adventure and then he'll spend more time with the twins. Not "I'll spend more time on my education" not "more time with the family" more time with the TWINS, specifically his little brothers. Then in the 8th book despite usually being a serious person who tries to stay away from emotional reactions and stick to logic and reason, even when butler gets shot although he's very upset he forces himself to not cry and to immediately find a solution while in the 8th book he finds out his little brothers are in trouble, and immediately takes off for the house despite knowing he's running into danger and that there's probably safer ways to solve this if he stopped to think. Then he abandons all logic when faced with his brothers being possesed and even forgets the problem in front of him, of there being basically zombies in his house, because he's to focused on myles holding a sharp object and hurting himself. We then find out he got a customized fairy chair specifically made for his little brother and also knows his brothers favorite drink and exactly how to make it and serves it to him to comfort him from the recent possession. Then in this book we find out he made the NANNI system for his brothers to keep them safe, connected it to myle's glasses, gave him a laser but not a strong one because he was scared of his little brother hurting himself or others by accident, had a bonding moment with his little brother working on the NANNI system with him, and told them bed time stories of his adventures. Like it's adorable. Especially when you see someone so professional and serious and formal like artemis acting like this
I just wish we could see him interacting with them in person

Hi. Do u have a list of when the CW, HC, IW, Endgame, and FFH happened? The MCU timeline is an utter mess. HC happened around Sep 2016. If it started 2 months after CW, it means CW took place in June (before Peter's birthday that's why Tony thought he was still 14 in HC). The school year would've already ended atm, but why did Peter say he had homework? Then IW happened in 2018, but which months? All I know it's; 1) before Aug, bcs Tony said his wedding decoy date was Aug 27, (cont.)
(cont.) 2) after Jan, bcs Betty said they already took their midterm test before The Snap. And then Endgame happened 5 years later (2023). Was that exactly 5 years or 5 years and few months? We know FFH happened during summer (June 2024). If it took place 8 months after The 2nd Snap, it means Endgame took place in Oct 2023? But how long it took for the Avengers to build the time travel machine? When did exactly Scott return? Sept? Ugh. Please help me clear my mind or I might implode. Thanks!

Civil War and Homecoming happened in 2016. Peter says he has homework in CW because as established in the timeline site, in June 2019, which has the same days of the week as June 2024, New York high schools finished on June 26th. And Tony met Peter on May 23, 2016.
Infinity War took place two years after CW and HOCO. Endgame started on October 3rd
Scott returns this day. Endgame begins in mid-2018 then the five years later jump happens, making it 2023. In the movie they confirm this, Ebony Maw from 2014 says that Nebula has come from ‘9 years in the future’. On October 9, they start working on the time travel theory Scott told them about, so between the 9th and the 16th, they’re working on the time machine/time heist.
In Infinity War, they reveal the decoy date for Tony and Pepper’s wedding: August 27th. And Infinity War starts mid-to-late May 2018, late April-early May 2018.
Here’s the MCU timeline with detailed facts and events from 2016. If you want to see more years, just change the year in the ‘timeline’ tag.
In FFH, Betty references the last day of their school before summer in June, and it’s mentioned that they were brought back 8 months ago. So you’re absolutely right, Endgame took place in October 2023. On October 27th, Peter comes back to school to reunite with Ned.
I don’t know why but it’s always the Spider-Man movies making the mistakes when it comes to dates. Here’s an example: they showed that the decathlon competition was on October 13-15, 2016 and then later they changed that to September 14, 2016.
In the first image, you can see the poster at the beginning of the movie and the second one was when Peter was about to ask if he could come back to the decathlon team before the competition. So you’re right when you say CW took place in June. Between May and June. The events of the airport happened in June 2016 and Tony visited Peter in May 2016 because that’s when he got Peter’s passport.
And yes, you’re right when you say Tony thought Peter was still 14 because Peter’s birthday is on August 10 and Tony met him on May 23, 2016.

If you don’t mind, I’m going to answer another ask that is similar to yours, this is for the anon asking for more details about the timeline and facts they could use for their irondad fics regarding said timeline:
1. Peter quits the school band on his birthday because of Spider-Man and his extra-curricular activities. He quit band expecting a call from Happy or Tony. But Tony was probably too heartbroken to even remember Peter’s birthday or something else.
2. Mysterio's crew learn Tony left an inheritance for Peter on June 27th, 2024 and Peter gets that inheritance on June 28th.
3. Peter’s identity is revealed on July 10th.
4. On July 17th, Coney Island reopens eight years after what happened between Peter and Toomes. That means Toomes has been in prison (maybe, we still don’t know because of the snap, he could’ve died and then after the blip escaped) for around eight years.
5. Flash is now famous lmao given that the Daily Bugle gave everyone his real name and nickname thanks to the video he provided of the attack on the bridge tower.
6. Ned is also famous too since he gave a statement to the news about Night Monkey lmao a very funny one: “He’s like some kind of European knock-off, I guess? Which is cool, I mean, Spider-Man is awesome and other countries probably need their own spider-power-based heroes just in case, but I’ve seen Spider-Man before and that definitely wasn’t him. He was all in black. Spider-Man doesn’t wear black. So, like, case closed.”
7. The raid on Area 51 is canon in the MCU lmao
8. The Daily Bugle reached out to some of the teachers at Midtown High School for more background on Peter but they declined to comment.
9. On October 17th Tony sees Peter again after 5 years and dies the same day.
10. Tony's funeral was on October 29th. So that means Peter returned to school and then had to grieve his father-figure and then attend his funeral on October 29th. Talk about traumatic life events...
11. On May 30th, 2018 Tony was discussing his wedding plans with Pepper on Central Park, and Peter was on a field trip to the Museum of Modern Art.
12. Happy is the only one that could’ve informed Nick Fury that Tony made Peter an Avenger, this means Tony and Happy talked about the kid while Peter was dead. chapter 5
After your „date" with Arón, he had been so sweet to walk you back to your small apartment at around 9:15. On the way there, he had reassured you that you were going to be fine filming the video with him.
You were still pretty nervous and to be honest a little anxious already.
To explain your concern about the smallest thing, it'd be good to clear some things.
When you were 14, your grandma had died right after Christmas. That had really gotten to you, you had been very close with her, and you hadnt gotten the chance to say goodbye go her.
Thats how it all started, your sadness, the loneliness.
You had spent days and nights sitting on your bed, listening to sad music and just staring at the ceiling.
The years after that it had gotten a little better, you didnt cry at the thought of her anymore but now every little thing triggered your mind into thinking you were going to get hurt or embarrassed.
You were overthinking everything.
And to briefly explain why you got so nervous when a guy looked at you or complimented you, you had never been in a super serious relationship. And you were almost 20 now.
Some people would say its weird but you had realized that maybe your time hasnt come yet, and that was okay for you.
So as to right now, you were sitting in the subway on the way to the address Arón had sent you.
College had been alright today, Itzan and you had had lunch together again and had spent some more time finding ideas for the photo shoot with Arón.
You were still nervous but tried to calm yourself down by thinking back to what Arón had told you. He was going to be there and he had done nothing but be comforting and sweet to you.
On the right station you got out and walked to location.
It was a big market place somewhere in Madrid and you immediately spotted Arón in the crowd. He was wearing a black shirt and a jeans jacket over it. He looked good.
You walked up to him and he noticed you right away and walked towards you.
„Hola chica, you feeling good?" He pulled you into a tight hug.
That had been your second hug. The first had been the night before when he had taken you home and then left.
His hugs were tight but so comforting to you.
„Hey, I'm good how are you?"
He put his arm around your shoulder and you guys walked back to the others.
„Guys that's y/n, my girlfriend."
Your head shot up to him.
He grinned and added:"In the video."
You started laughing as well.
Then yon got introduced to the other guys and you went through the scene again before you relatively quick went to filming. The first scene had been easy for you. Just walking around, holding Arón's warm hand, pretending to be interested in everything around you.
Since he was a lot taller than you, you used the opportunity to put your head on his shoulder while walking.
He pressed your hand tightly until the guy yelled a loud „cut."
You walked back to the camera to see the scene from this perspective. Arón was still holding you hand until you both realized and he let go, grinning at you.
„That was great guys, we already got it." His friend „Moonkey" spoke and highfived you both.
The next scene had been the one, getting some food and sitting down at a bench. You had to feed each other a little to seem „cute" until you spilled the ketchup from your fries on his shirt, making you laugh out loud. For real though, it hadnt been planned but Arón later on had said that it was perfect for the video.
It was getting darker over the course of filming those cute/funny scenes with the guys and at around 7 you decided to take a break and get an actual snack.
The guys got burger and stuff but since you and Arón had eaten for the scene before, you just grabbed drinks and slowly walked to the next location.
The cameras were wrapped up in bags that the guys could easily carry as backpacks.
The club you originally intended to film a scene it was closed that day and the next one would've been to far to walk so you had to change your entire plan.
„Why dont we film the rooftop scene now and include some dancing and jumping around? Turn on some music and you guys dance."
Arón agreed immediately but you again got self conscious, having to dance in front of a couple boys.
Arón reassured you again and took your hand as you were making your way up to the top of the building.
While the guys were setting up the cameras and all, you and Arón were standing together, talking.
He again told you stuff like:"Close your eyes and just pretend no one is there. You're gonna do great I'm sure."
You smiled at him and then examined the view over the city and its lights.
„Alright Arón, y/n just sit down over there, cuddle and maybe watch the stars i dont know." <Moonkey> laughed and you both did as he said.
Aròn put his arm around you, pulling you closer to his chest.
You intentionally closed your eyes and listened to his heartbeat and breathed in his cologne. You were fully enjoying this until something or something basically ripped you out of your thoughts and your comfortableness.
„Cut thanks."
Arón seemed to be a little startled as well because it took him a bit until he removed his arm from you.
„Now, dancing. Arón show her what you got." one of them laughed. „Cabrón, i cant dance." Arón cursed and looked at you.
He then turned on some reggaeton you didnt know but it was perfect for dancing so you took a deep breath and let all your thoughts go.
You grabbed Arón's hand and just started dancing around like you didnt care who was watching.
It seemed to help him because he got more comfortable as well and you ended up jumping and running around the roof terrace, not giving a shit at all.
<Moonkey> was dancing along behind the camera and the mood was set.
You all had so much fun that second and you wished it wouldnt end.
To be completely honest, you owned it. You felt everyones gaze on you, Arón was almost looking at you freaking out in awe, as he was dancing with you.
If you werent so in your own state, you'd think there was a certain tension between the both of you.
„Cut. As sorry as I am to stop whatever is happening here, we need to finish this so I can cut it."
„Off to Arón's." The blonde guy spoke and again packed the camera in the bag.
You caught your breath first and then looked at Arón.
You started to laugh loudly, not being able to believe how careless you were just dancing.
Arón smiled at you for a while before you all left to go downstairs to enter his apartment.
Finally sitting on the black couch in his living room, he first handed everyone a drink and then sat down next to you.
His place was a lot bigger than yours. No wonder though, he was an actor and probably had more money than you, not that that mattered you just noticed.
„Everything ready?" He then asked and again put his arm around you.
„Ready." you all answered almost simultaneously.
The scene was relatively short. You started by clicking your glasses together, then pretended to laugh about something and then it was time to end the scene with a kiss.
You slowly turned your head to meet his and smiled at him.
His eyes were sparkling towards you, before he smiled once again and your lips finally met for the first time.
It was a short but hard kiss.
You heard Moonkey go „whooo" behind the camera, but you were too focused on Arón's kiss.
It felt better than you had expected and by now you were almost sure you had deeper feelings for him.
Was that crazy since you didnt even know him that long?
„Cut." someone broke off your kiss and you kept on looking into each others eyes for a little.
„Guys" Moonkey laughed, official breaking the tension going on.
Afterwards, the guys packed their stuff, took some time finishing their drinks and then took off relatively quick.
„Alright I'll cut it together and send it to you next week or something." His friend told Arón and they talked a bit before you heard the door close.
You were still sitting in your exact position on the couch, with the half full glass of red wine in your left hand.
„See, it went fantastic." Arón fell down on the couch next to you.
„Yeah..."
-„Thank you. I had a lot of fun." you finished your sentence.
Arón smiled at you.
„Me too."
And then it all went super fast.
The alcohol kicked in and you guys went off to talking about rather intimate topics and he scooted closer to you.
„Ill call you next time I need a fake girlfriend." He slurred and laughed afterwards.
Since you were a bit tipsy you joked:"You can leave out <fake> too, thats fine with me."
Arón started laughing again and before you knew, his lips were on yours again.
This time it was more forceful and rougher.
You liked it a lot.

Random question, but how do you feel abt ella enchanted, if you've read/watched it? do you think the movie did the book justice? personally i think it would've been a more popular movie if it was more romantic fantasy like stardust is, instead of a fantasy comedy movie

EDIT: i didn’t think i was gonna go off this much when i started writing my response to this, but here we are lmao oops
ok so to start, i love ella enchanted - both the book and the movie. i watched the movie first and read the book not long after, and i have the childhood nostalgia filter on for both of them so i have that bias.
based on the plot alone, the movie absolutely did not do the book justice. besides the names and the fact that ella was obedient, pretty much nothing was the same. the movie was way modernized language-wise and had a lot of pop culture references that are still fun imo. i’m just gonna list some shit i remember about the book to the best of my ability (it’s been like a year or so since my last re-read so i might not remember everything)
in the book...
ella was like 13 or smth when she first met char who was 14 or 15 i think
mandy was an older kitchen fairy
ella was forced to go to finishing school with hattie and olive
hattie was dramatic af and wore a wig
ella Snatched that wig when she left the school in the dead of night
ogres were actually bad
ella had a talent for speech imitation, which ultimately saved her from the ogres as she could imitate them well enough to persuade them to spare her
both of char’s parents (king & queen) were alive and there was no uncle edgar or heston
ella made char laugh a lot as they got to spend more time with each other (there was stair rail sliding incident if i remember correctly)
when ella found lucinda again, lucinda promised to spend 3 months obedient and then 3 months as a squirrel
lucinda got a taste of her own medicine and realized she hadn’t been bestowing gifts but curses
she felt awful about what she’d done to ella and many like her, but she couldn’t take it back even when she wanted to
ella fell in love with char but knew they couldn’t be together because of the gift/curse
there were 3 masquerade balls she attended so she could see char again but she went anonymously every time (changed her voice with her talent so he couldn’t recognize her)
ella broke her own curse by yelling that she wouldn’t marry char when he asked
and then she did marry him when she realized she was free
in the movie...
ella and char were both 18-21 years old - ella was in college and char had no idea she existed until they literally bumped into each other as he was running away from the “prince char fan club” that was chasing him
mandy was young and hot for some reason and had a boyfriend named benny she accidentally turned into a talking book who was like a magic mirror and could show you anything you asked
ella’s dad cared about her way more than in the book
ella ran away from home to find lucinda and took benny the boyfriend book with her
she met an elf named slannen who joined her
note: neither benny nor slannen were in the book and aren’t treated much more than comic relief
char had an uncle edgar who acted as king before char’s coronation
char didn’t know that edgar killed his father and wanted to kill char too so he could keep being king
edgar also had a snake named heston who was cgi and talked
ella almost got eaten by ogres but char saved her and accompanied her and slannen to the giants’ wedding
which was where anne hathaway as ella sang “somebody to love” which was honestly an iconic scene that still sometimes gives me secondhand embarrassment (i mean that as a compliment)
ella went back to the palace with char to try to look up lucinda in the library records
edgar found her and ordered her to kill char the night of the ball for him so he wouldn’t have to do it
ella had slannen chain and lock her to a tree so she physically could not harm char
lucinda showed up and freed her against her will and ordered her to go to the ball
char whisked ella away and proposed to her and she almost killed him but broke her curse before she could
she got thrown in jail for attempted murder
slannen, two giants, three ogres, and benny the boyfriend book formed a squad to save ella so she could save char from edgar
edgar almost succeeded but ella used her sweet martial arts skills to beat the shit out of his guards
edgar accidentally knocked himself out by putting the poisoned crown that was meant for char on his own head
ella and char get married then sing “don’t go breaking my heart” happily ever after the end
oh yeah and mandy turned benny the boyfriend book back into benny the boyfriend man and slannen got with that one hot giant
so anyway i still really love the movie even though it was a hot mess LMAO. it probably would have been a more popular movie if they stuck closer to the book’s plot lines. idk what the producers wanted but it clearly wasn’t most of anything actually in the book lol. not gonna lie tho anne hathaway and hugh dancy had some Mad Chemistry and that fireplace kiss scene was just *chef kiss*
i think if they had given ella and char more romantic scenes like that and given them a slower relationship build rooted in friendship like in the book, it’d be a better romance. and like, some parts were funny but we really didn’t need slannen and probably not benny. benny the boyfriend book was only essential because he was ella’s map. slannen was comedic relief and added nothing to the plot. just. so many movie things didn’t make sense lmao, but it’s not the worst romcom i’ve seen!
in conclusion, i like ella enchanted. it’s one of the most unique adaptations of cinderella out there and i appreciate gail carson levine for creating ella’s world. i will always enjoy fairytales and fairytale retellings like ella enchanted. this ask has inspired me to go re-read it again.
(also, i don’t think any book to movie fantasy romance adaptation can compare to stardust because it’s just that good. neil gaiman really blessed us!)

The other day, @swanqueenisendgameyo made a post about an interesting tidbit about the timeline she found. It was the date on the forms that Roni almost signed when she was going to sell her bar to Victoria.
It’s kind of hard to see, but if you zoom in you can make out what looks to be June 6, 2018 written at the top of the form. I’ve also made my own discovery that it was a little less than a year between when Ella and Henry met and when Lucy was born, I made a post about it which I’ll link here:
These two discovers got me thinking about the timeline and I decided to take my own little crack at it.
As we already know, Henry was born on August 15, 2001. We also know that while the events of HH were happening, Past! Henry was in senior year of high school. So on June 6, 2018. Past! Henry would be starting the school year soon. The curse broke when Past! Henry was graduating. Which would be around May 2019.
Henry starts his senior year in August of 2018 and graduates in May of 2019. He’s 17 when he graduates high school. He leaves Storybrooke shortly after his 18th birthday and travels to the Magical Forest. The first friend he makes is Jack. They fight giants and travel together for a little while. August 15, 2020 was Henry’s 19th birthday. Jack buys Henry his first drink at the Crimson Crow. They go their separate ways shortly afterwards. In March of 2021, Henry meets Ella. Regina comes to the MF. Emma tells Henry she’s pregnant. Hope Swan is born 8 months later on November 11, 2021.
Ella was born on March 7, 2001 in Vallestrella. Her mother Cecelia was a fairy and her birth father, Antonio Agama, was a human. Ella has never met her birth father, but she knows of him. When Ella was four years old, she and her mother were banished from Vallestrella. They traveled to Avalor and lived there until Ella was eight years old. Then, they moved to the Magical Forest where Cecelia met and married Marcus Tremaine. Marcus had two daughters from a previous marriage and he adopted Ella as his own. He would become the only true father Ella’s ever known. At the time, Ella was ten years old. When Ella was 14 years old, Rapunzel, Marcus’s first wife, showed up at Tremaine Manor. In May of 2015, the Tremaine’s celebrated Drizella’s 12th birthday. Cecelia was poisoned by Rapunzel and forced to leave her family. Marcus searched for her for a year.
In December of 2016, Ella and Anastasia fell through the ice of a frozen lake. Marcus was only able to save Ella. Anastasia died at 14. Ella and Drizella were 15 and 13 respectively. Shortly after Ana’s death, Rapunzel arranges for the Prince to kills Marcus. She wants Ella to suffer and knows how much the girl loves her father. Sometime in February of 2017, Marcus and Ella travel to the castle. Marcus has been summoned to tailor new clothes for the Prince and Ella goes along as his assistant. They don’t know that it’s really a trap set up by Rapunzel. The Prince stabs Marcus when he believed them to be alone. He didn’t know that Ella witnessed the entire thing. After Marcus’s funeral, Rapunzel made Ella into a household slave. She’s cruel to her step-daughter and Drizella follows her mother’s example. For the next four years, Ella is abused by her step-family. Drizella receives an invitation to a ball at the castle. Ella sees it as an opportunity to get revenge on the Prince and her own suffering. She knew that killing the Prince would result in her own death by execution.
Ella’s 20th birthday had just past when she met Henry in March of 2021. He convinces her to not kill the Prince and that there was a happy ending out there for her. The two of them join Princess Tiana’s Resistance. During the next couple of months Henry and Ella fall in love. They have a small wedding ceremony in September of 2021 and Ella becomes pregnant right away. On June 21, 2022 their daughter, Lucy Mills, is born. For the next eight years, the Mills trio live happily ever after. On Lucy’s eighth birthday, June 21, 2030, Drizella casts a dark curse. Not only does the curse take them to the LWM, it also brings them back in time to 2016. For the next two years, everyone lives under the curse. Then, on June 6, 2018, Lucy brings Henry to Hyperion Heights where he meets her single mother, Jacinda, Ella’s cursed self. In May of 2019, Henry breaks the curse when he gives Regina true love’s kiss. The lasted for nearly three years. Regina casts a curse that unites the realms of story. Rather than staying in 2019, Regina brings them to what would've been there present had they’d not been sent back in time. Regina brings them to May, 2033. Lucy’s 11th birthday is celebrated on June 21, 2033. In November of 2033, Regina is crowned the Good Queen of the United Realms.
