Mc's birthday is August 13th

Theyre a Leo😏

Mc looks a lot like their Father but they have their Mothers eyes

When they were fourteen, they managed to sprain their ankle the night before the reaping when they were out with Ash, and it never properly healed

After Ash died Mc spent a lot of nights on top of the belltower in the middle of District 8 instead of their normal spot because it hurt too much to be there without Ash

Mc has top marks in all of their classes☝️

Theres a little cat bed for Hope in their closet but Hope normally just sleeps in Mcs bed

Mc is an enneagram type 4(yes, i did just retake the test for every character, including some of the other tributes. I've got brainrot for my own game, leaving me alone🙄)

Mcs tribute token is a bracelet from their Father (...it may or may be a lily of the valley bracelet)

Mc and their Mother actually used to be pretty close, but when they were about nine, something changed, and they grew distant

the first time Mc went back to the Capitol since Ashs death they were very shocked to find that they somehow have fans

Mc met Snow once, but it was before he was president and incredibly brief

This is less of a detail, but Mc was about 4 when Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes happened, and it absolutely blows my mind

You can pick Mcs' weapon of choice, but i will say they are a natural with a knife, and its kinda scary☝️(a certian district partner finds it attractive, tho😏)

When they were younger, Mc was for sure the kid that always tried to hang out with the adults anytime they were supposed to be playing with other kids

Mc has been drunk before😋

Regardless of whether or not you romance Creon Mc will always keep any letters they've gotten from them

Calliope has a hundred percent found the stash of letters and read through them (mc caught her, and it ended with mc having a black eye, and Calliope got a busted lip)

Mc is naturally a very caring person, but you get to decide whether or not the fully show it

i have no idea why but Mc will forever feel like the moon to me

they cannonically have a gorgeous smile (not sorry about it😋)

Mc also fully believes nobody ever really listens to what they're saying, but it is quite literally the exact opposite. they've just got this energy where you feel compelled to listen to them (they get it from their dad🤞)

you get to pick Mcs main hobby but they also know how to play the paino. it was something their mother taught them when they were young

when mc was ten, they "ran away" but came back a couple hours later because it started to snow, and they literally didn't have a coat. They thought nobody in their family noticed, but Soren had a full force of peacekeepers looking for them while Ione went out herself to look for them. When everyone was back home, they all acted like nothing happened.

Mcs room has one of the best views in the entire District

Oc lore guide! because I post about them and I figured it might be a good idea to have a guide. Also, I wanted the opportunity to info dump :3

D'var

D'var is the one of the last members of a shape shifting race called the Despartans. She'd rather be left alone to sip her tea and contemplate life in peace, but that's a hard thing to do when you're one thousand years old and an admiral in command of a ship. D'var struggles with letting people in, a product of losing so many close to her, but tries her best. A divided front, after all, can not win a war. She is the former avatar of the God of Dark Matter.

Issi Eden

Issi is a half human, half Elarite engineer. She struggles to accept her Elarite heritage and does so in her own ways, such as wearing jewelry after the destruction of Elara and practicing, if tentatively, the language of the Killot tribe. She, along with Despi and Kede have accents similar to British. She is the leader of the Assassins between Stars and the avatar for the God of Stars.

Qualit Dekappel

Qualit is an Elarian language specialist who has seen her fair share of the war front. During her time serving on the exoplanet Kronec IV she was involved in an accident that burned off half of her glowing freckles, the Elarian trademark and often compared to a mood ring, as the brightness changes with one's mood. Qualit can be harsh and abrasive and difficulty making friends, choosing to stick with a select group of people. Her skin is naturally pale, but is permanently tanned from working commonly with extremely high heat light sources. She is the second in command of the Dragonfly Rebellion and avatar for the God of Creation.

Tetia Soren

Tetia is simply the human disguise of the god Poweri, deity of Power. She's slithered through civilization, seeking revenge on her former lover, Vesper, the god of Dark Matter. Tetia is a member of the deadly trio called the Assassins between Stars, a skilled killer and wielder of impossible power, it's in her name after all.

Mikayla Ria

Mikayla is a human hairdresser who specializes in any kind of braids. She, just as any other solider upon joining the Shadow Army, had her past memories erased from her mind. She doesn't know exactly who she is, and mourns the girl she was, even if she never knew that girl. She is the final member of the Assassins between Stars.

Maddi Dabiri

Maddi is a Human, Parsi Indian to be specific, pilot. One of the most brilliant pilots of her generation to be exact. She enjoys a quick recreational flight with combat shuttles and dhansak. Maddi tries to keep up with her parents legacy, and does so admirably, but can't help but feel something's missing. She is a member of the Dragonfly Rebellion.

Kede Atear

Kede is a half human, half Kiden neurosurgeon. They are an ambulatory wheelchair user because of a rare condition called Cronahic Elipseas. Kidens are naturally translucent humanoids and have significantly less dense bones, along with telepathy. As a result, Kede has Kiden bones and emphatic abilities but in a human body, causing them chronic pain. They are a talented neurosurgeon specializing in electrical trauma to hippocampus pathways. They are a member of the Dragonfly Rebellion.

Despi Mikka

Despi is a half human half Kiden scientist who specializes in dark matter. His Kiden side presents itself in incredibly strong emphatic abilities and slightly less dense bones, but not enough to cause chronic pain. He is a member of the Dragonfly Rebellion.

“Just’a’few scrapes, savvy?”

Chilled air surrounded him, wisps of a breeze finding every stray bit of skin left exposed by his loose fitted attire. He’d traded armor and leather for the soft cloth of a laced shirt, leaving parts of his chest and arms exposed while he moved about the deck. Leather boots thudded against the deck, but it was all the noise he had to greet him while the ship lay at anchor. Moored to the docks of Limsa, they idled there while the rest of the crew made their business within the city. He’d have joined them too, but there was more work to do and the boys deserved their rest. So here he was, alone on the main deck in the midst of Starlight’s wake with nothing but his thoughts and his hands to keep busy.

Bruised and calloused hands worked the knots of the rigging, pulling them tight and securing lines he knew were already safe. For all the grief he’d given Kaiden in the days leading up to their arrival back at port, the boy had learned his lesson. Try as he might, Gideon failed to find a single flaw in any of his work. And for all his gruff demeanor, he couldn’t quell the slip of pride that ticked at the edge of his thoughts. Fear and respect went hand-in-hand, he pondered. Even if he wasn’t much of a scholar he understood the way to rouse men's spirits and push them further. Just like Aeric had always done for him, even while shadows played around them.

A deep breath of the sea air filled his lungs. Familiar, comforting, and something he’d always understood. A bit of salt, the distant whiff of smoke from a cook fire. There was always a little bit of gunpowder in the air, he noted fondly, a consequence of having too many ships and too many pirates gathered in one place. Give them too long a time on their own, and thoughts and firearms were liable to fly as easily as insults.

Quiet as the ocean’s breath at dawn, his chest began to rumble in a familiar cadence. Music had always been a comfort to him, even as a small boy. While the docks were hardly a place fit for a child, those that took to the life did so with strong legs and arms, and a healthy respect for the way a note could turn a man’s heart. From dour to hopeful, a choice word held on the right octave could inspire exhausted men to push harder.

Tales of bawdy wenches, and the promise of coin were often enough to sway their addled thoughts. Quell a possible mutiny when the takings were low or the voyage proved fitful and overlong. Not that such things happened on the Siren, it occurred to him. That was a tale on a different ship, one that now decorated the bottom of Vesper Bay. Music was the great bridge between words and understanding. So as he hummed and worked his hands, adjusting knots and scrubbing some of the railings he tried to understand it all. His mind drifted off from where he stood, poised to gaze upon the distant ocean, and back to the evening he’d nearly died.

A strip of moving shadow on the bridge, swirling like the vortex of the churning sea. Only this time it didn’t seek to swallow anything up but spilled out a monster of nightmare. Men clad in robes and armor, with swords the likes of which he’d never seen. Like lightning they were, blades swiping through the air.

He touched the line cut across his stomach, wondering not for the first time what would’ve happened. If he hadn’t jerked back at the last moment, half of him would’ve spilled out on that stone bridge. But the man that wielded it was little more than worm food now, two of his rounds split through his chest. To say nothing of the creatures that had torn into his shoulder, and the hulking beast that nearly dashed him across the bridge...

Sighing his own frustration to the air his mind pieced together the events. It tried to fit them into some narrative even he couldn’t understand. A girl was brought aboard, given shelter in the Captain’s company, and now...now their lives were at risk. Part of him didn’t care as to the reason, the thrill of another battle was enough to fuel him till the end of time, but his thoughts weren’t centered on him. They were on Aeric, and Kaiden, and Skipper, and all the rest. What would fall on their heads from this, if anything? What of that other, the Limsan man with the stabbers and the magic...Soren, he’d heard the name mentioned only once. And the ship. The Siren’s Call. The place that became his home when Limsa decided to swallow him whole. What about her?

“Ain’t lettin’ nothin’ happne t’ye, lass...”

The fondness in his voice while his hands wrapped around the railing should’ve been reserved for a lover, or a confidant. Instead it was the vessel under his feet, the one that carried them all into danger’s path and back home safe again. Close calls and shots had wandered in their path more times than he cared to admit, yet every time she pulled through for them. And they for her. The aged wood felt good beneath rough hands, and a smile touched his face.

Yet his smile turned sour while the humming ceased, and hard eyes turned on the door to Aeric’s cabin. He’d watched him take her in, care for her, seen how fondly the two looked. Aeric was the ocean, his fancy shifting with the tides, yet she was as smitten as a barnacle against the bow. And now, because of it, trouble swarmed them all. Without realizing, his hand had moved to curl over the handle of his dagger, as if another of the voidsent might spring up from the shadows across the ship. He cursed the nerves that so rarely dogged him, and spat over the side of the ship to ward them off. His fist struck the edge of the railing, even as he heard footsteps approaching from below and voices drawing near.
