It is unsure whether Mother actually has a physical form or not, but she is sometimes seen and described as this unstable, shifting creature by hosts who have seen her in their thoughts and dreams.

I wanted to design alien birds with some kind of arm/hand structures, but I find the concept of just having wings and conventional arms to be both kind of boring and anatomically far fetched - so I was trying to come up with some alternate ways a prehensile limb may evolve. I kind of landed on the ideas of tongues and tentacles, so here's my fav concept I came up with :>
