So a small timeline thing before I make a bit post.
The main story for my oc's take place in the year 6025 PT, while most of the prequel to the main story take place before the year 6000 PT.
The characters in the main story in 6025 PT are:
Zena Xa-Qui (age 25)
Thaniea Hio (age 25)
Vero Dene (age 25)
Orsk Jei’lya (age 25)
Wren Catis (age 25)
Aeron Hesing (age 25)
Valarin Sernada (age 25)
Tye Loe Madon (age 53)
Mazen Xa-Qui (age 50)
Hal Nex (age 50)
Talyra Tarick (age 40)
Leta Kaltis (age 40)
Crash and all other surviving vinite guards (age 49)
I may have missed someone out but these are the main characters.
When the main story starts it is 6025 PT, while it is 6026 PT when the main story ends (and 6030 PT during the epilogue)
Some of the older characters during this (Tye Loe, Mazen, Talyra, Leta and Crash) are part of the prequel as well.
I'll make a full timeline soon, this is just a short one to explain it a bit.
Basically, a character's age on their artfight character sheets, doesn't mean that's their age in a certain part of the timeline, it's either the age where they are first seen or the age they die/are last seen.

Can we know more about the saints, is it like a cloning situation/ any powers or requirements?
So the saints is basically a group of magical people who rely on a power system known as "echo", its basically something which is connected to their souls, which they meditate to. The saints are mostly peaceful, and the whole point of them is to be peaceful negotiators, although sometimes they have to result to battles and combat.
Every generation, one saint is chosen to be cloned, with their dna taken in order to make a group known as "vinite guards", who are basically thousands of the same saint, except they don't have any connection to the "echo" because their souls are different.
There's not a lot of requirements to be a saint, only that you can't be attached to anything or anyone other than being a saint and relationships of any kind are very frowned upon.
So, it's a bit of both really.
There's also another part of the Saints known as the Divineli.
The Divineli is a warrior saviour of the universe who is chosen every generation in order to act like a leader/protector to the saints, however after the Divineli sword of Divine echo was shattered, there was no Divineli for years before the sword was restored and given to Zena Xa-Qui.
There's quite a lot so I'll probably make a super long post about it, but I hope that answers your question!

An artfight character sheet that I will be adding to artfight soon.
This is petal, she was part of the 5th generation of vinite guards, however there was something about her that may her very different from her thousands of brothers.
Petal only survives a year into the 19th charge (Well, that was when the last time she was seen), and I wanted to draw her!

My oc's as songs from my playlist (Part 1)
My song playlist is currently on shuffle and any song that comes on, I shall put down and which of my oc's I think it closely matches the most.
"American Pie" By Don Mclean- Tye Loe Madon
I don't think it fits his story that much, but I can hear him singing along to it, maybe singing it quietly while rocking Zena to sleep when she was a baby.
I imagine Tye Loe would listen to quite a few songs from the 70's and he would listen to American Pie if he existed irl.
And I think he probably would of also sang it to Mazen as they were going to sleep so he would continue to do so when putting Zena to sleep because it would make him remember the old times.
2. "St. Marie" By Stone sour- Tye Loe Madon
Another song that I would fit Tye Loe Madon rather than being a song he would listen to.
Firstly, it's got saint in the name of the song, and Tye Loe used to a saint.
I can imagine Tye Loe to this song, praying to some random elder saint about his life and maybe even talking to Mazen how he can't live without him.
3. "Falling away from me" By Korn- Aeron Hesing
I don't think Aeron would be that into Nu-metal (In fact, I think Orsk is the one that would listen to more metal) but I think Aeron would listen to Korn as he relates to a couple song and likes to scream out the lyrics.
I can imagine Aeron singing along to it while Valarin supports him.
4. "Just one yesterday" By Fall out boy- Zena Xa-Qui
Considering the fact that this song is already on a playlist I have made for Zena, it would be fair to say that she would probably relate or even listen to this song.
I could imagine making an animatic with Zena when she's singing along to the song and just smirking the entire time as she sings with Thaniea.
Also, she would trade all of her tomorrows to have just one yesterday, it's just a fact.
5. "Everlong" By Foo fighters- Tye Loe Madon
Another song that I think would match Tye Loe Madon (it's almost like he's the character I relate to the most or something) and it's a Foo fighters song!
Yeah, Tye Loe was all dramatic and sad after having to lose Mazen and run away to Winxetania with Zena, but he never gave up and would always want him back and know he's fine, because he can't live without knowing if Mazen is okay.
I also think some of the lyrics could link to Tye Loe and his relationship with Ravona, with the fact that she's dead and he knows that their relationship they had will slowly start to fade after so many years.
6. "First light" By Hozier- Mazen Xa-Qui
Mazen's life before the 19th charge was his full life, it was everything to him: his family, his friends, his husband.
But then his "First light" happened and everything became what he thought was more clear, not realising how he was being used.
The one bright morning that changes everything could be said to be the day in 6026 PT when he realises what has happened to his life and he is able to break away from the darkness, "Never going back again", as he ends his own reign in order to give his daughter a new life, a better life, within the "First light".
He dies, therefore he lives his whole life, before the first light.
7. "Missionary Man" by Ghost- Mazen Xa-Qui
I can't say a lot about this one but I would say that it fits Mazen the best as he's one of the few characters that actually has a brother and a mother which fits with the lyrics.
I don't know what else to say about it.

Tala Fein, known saint and probably one of my only saints who actually got to have a good life before her death.
Tala was a saint who was chosen to be the face and dna of the fourth generation of vinite guard and despite the fact she never got married or had children of her own, she still views her generation of Vinite guard as her children.
Tala actually got a good life as she died peacefully at the age of 86.

A new artfight character sheet for a not exactly new character.
This is Na'vida La'sene, I have mentioned her before but I wanted to draw her as well.
She comes from the noble La'sene family, and later in life, ends up marrying Zena and Thaniea's son, Kalen (Although that doesn't end well)
She has a brother named Na'dane who doesn't have a crush on Kalen, no not at all.

So why do Na'lona Mad'na and Na'vida La'sene have similar names, despite being different species? I'll explain.
Na'lona Mad'na was taken in at a young age by the saints and therefore, there was no time for her name ceremony.
Na'lona's mentor was a woman named Shak Jarre, who herself was taken in at a young age by the saints as well. Shak Jarre had gotten her name from her own mentor, and had only discovered her family and their culture around the time she took in Na'lona.
Because of that, Shak Jarre decided to name Na'lona after her culture, and gave her the last name of Shak's family, basically adopting her into her family and culture.
Of course that would mean that Na'lona herself wouldn't be able to have a connection to her own family or culture, but they abandoned her anyways.
And if you are wondering how this links to Na'vida? Well Shak and Na'vida belong to the same species, as obvious by their light purple skin and skin markings (Shak having red markings while Na'vida and her family have white markings)
And that's how Na'lona and Na'vida have similar names, despite being different species. It's just a simple answer of: adoption.
TLDR: Na'lona was adopted by a woman who was the same species as Na'vida and was named by her.

Valarin now has her own artfight sheet so it's basically confirmed that she's a character now!
Valarin Sernada is the only heir to the Sernada royal family, she's not upset about it, but she's not happy either. Most of her time she is with her friends, Thaniea and Aeron, either having sleepovers or going partying until the sun rises.
She and Aeron do actually end up getting together and having two daughters together but for now, let her have fun!

I've made their older sister, now here are the twins!
Valena and Kalen are the youngest chiildren of Zena Xa-Qui and Thaniea Hio. They mostly took after Thaniea with their hair, but their faces look more like Zena.
They both have their own lives that I'll talk about in a later post, but let's say that they do change when they get older.
