Every day I wake up to y’all being thirsty for my monster designs, you know what I have to deal with? You know what I put up with from y’all freaks. (/lh I think it’s funny)
Nother style test for The Disease Machine. Just wanted to do a creepier shot type with Si Van-Haf and play around with how I’d draw a more complex design.
Shout out to my family who has to live with me eerily standing in a dark hallway taking reference pictures of the roof for like ten minutes.
Si Van-Haf, Si ranking and immortal class Lāvian, it’s name best translates to The Regulator of Mental Sickness. It was the first to find and exploit the weak spot between Shaf’Lāv and Reality.

Ah, the way mxtx writes devotion is leagues beyond most romance novels I've read! As I've been reading Heaven Official's Blessing recently so spoilers for books 1-5:
The loyalty, unadulterated affection, and determination of every man towards his love makes it full of jaw-droppingly wonderful heartthrobs. The ever faithful Feng Xin, Hua Cheng whose love is at once his salvation and his reason for bring, Bai Jing who had endless blind love, unrelenting Pei Xiu, and poor pure-hearted Shi Qingxuan...and then there's Pei Ming.
Tumblr media
That accursed man that is the perfect foil for them all, and an unexpected cheerleader voyeur for Xie Lian's love towards Hua Cheng! (Diveristy win, the infamous playboy god is a fundanshi.)
All pages are from Book 5:

Might fully write this as a whole story one day.
You come to Viktor with a serious inquiry:
“Do you know a doctor that can perform Hanahaki removal surgery?”
He was stunned at first. He didn’t even know you had feelings for someone but to ask for this?
“You know how risky that is, you could lose all love in your heart.” Viktor stated.
“Of course I do. That’s why I came to ask you. It’s been done, a successful removal. Sure the recovery period is long but I get to keep my memories with you guys. I’ll take the chance.” You were steadfast in your decision. This was the only way to rid yourself of this retched disease. You weren’t exactly happy about it either, the chance that you would lose all love for Viktor and Jace was high. However staying in love with someone until your heart breaks or you die is worse (of course you wouldn’t actually die though).
Viktor sighed, “Who is it, it you don’t mind me asking?”
You were almost too embarrassed to mention it, “Remember Sterling…”
Viktor sat up fully in his seat to really grasp the situation. Sterling was someone you both knew from your Academy days and he was a piece of work. A ‘Grade A’ jackass and flirt. It sucks that his looks matched his brains, being one of Piltover’s elites. He was destined to inherit his families company and live a life of luxury. And this, amalgamation of every stereotype rich boy, was the one causing you so much pain. Viktor could hardly believe it.
“Don’t look at me like that, I’m not proud of it either!” Your face flushed bright red. “It just…happened. We were talking and things got real for a second. I thought I saw a different side of him but it’s…ugh! It’s complicated Viktor!”
Still in disbelief, Viktor adjusted himself on the chair. He collected his thoughts before looking back up at you. “I will ask Professor Heimerdinger for help. Don’t worry, I’ll find the best doctor there is. You won’t lose a precious memories, I promise.”
“Thank you Vitya.” You smile. Viktor felt a small ache in his chest but ignored it. You said your goodbyes and Viktor started to draft his letter to the Professor. Your memories and friendship was on the line so he felt compelled to write as soon as possible.
Professor Heimerdinger reported back by the end of the day. He was deeply concerned with Viktor’s wellbeing. This disease was no joke! He had lost many a friend to the flower disease and Viktor was far too young to fall ill with it. Viktor stopped him in the middle of his speech as he explained the treatment was for you and not himself. He was very confused at first but agreed to contacting a very good doctor. Before Viktor leaves, the professor urges him to be careful and be kind to himself.
Viktor didn’t understand then. You met with the doctor and consulted with her many times. She was kind and truly understood what it meant to be afflicted. After the consultations, Viktor would be your shoulder to lean on. On the nights you were too sick, you would stay with him. Viktor’s apartment became your second home. Viktor was slowly starting to understand the Professor’s warning. He couldn’t think about that now, he needed to be here for you.
Around two weeks before your surgery you were walking to your scheduled visit when you saw him, Sterling. He was chatting with another girl when he said some choice words about you. He threw in a couple comments that you’d only get far in this world because you “suck up” to the HexTech guys. It didn’t just sting he thought of you this way, especially after this long but he dared to badmouth your two best friends as well. For once, your coughing stopped and you noticed a bud had landed in your hand. You took this to the doctor and she was intrigued. She examined it closely and came back with a smile on her face.
“Congratulations, you’re falling out of love.”
“What?!”
“Calm down, it’s only been reported in the last 60 years or so but there are cases of people falling out of love with their intended person. It was mostly reported in relationships that turned sour after years but yes, even crushes can die out.”
“Does this mean, I will lose all love in my heart?”
“Not necessarily, you’ll feel reluctant and wary but as for your friends and family, you will love them just the same. You may even fall in love again one day.”
You get somewhat relieved. The doctor continued, “About the buds in your lungs. You can have the stem cut but that runs the risk of the original surgery. Best I can do for you is give you some medicine for nausea, pain killers and recommend you take on less physical work. Also, if you don’t mind, I’d like to continue our consultations with a therapist present so I can monitor the after effects.”
“Right…”
You left the consultation feeling lighter. Honestly seeing the doctor so excited over a bud, the proof that love dies, was amusing. The very thought of Sterling did fill your heart with a pit but one of disgust. Such an awful person who doesn’t know himself had the audacity to speak about you and your friends. The nerve!
You walked into the office and huffed into the seat next to Viktor. Without looking up from his notes, “You seem energetic today.”
“I’m not having the surgery.”
He almost fell out of his chair. Why would not have the surgery!? Have you fallen in love with Sterling?! Did he accept you?!
“I heard that jerk talking about me to another girl and he had the nerve to bring you and Jace into it! I don’t know it’s like- it’s like all my affection just died right then and there!” You explained what the doctor had said and how you would continue your rantings. Viktor felt a swell of pride in his chest. The fact that you were so annoyed on his behalf meant no matter what, your feelings would remain.
“I’m glad you’re okay.” he smiled.
“Honestly good riddance.” You scoffed “He doesn’t compare to you guys! You work so hard Vik, even when you were taking care of me!”
“I’d do it all again.” Viktor said. You sighed, finally relieved of your anger. You thanked him again for all he’s done and excused yourself to let him get back to work. Viktor waiting until you were out of the room to completely heave over the waste bin. It was filled with red stained petals.
How could he bring himself to tell you? Not now, not while you were free of this burden. He can wait it out, now that he was sure love dies.

Hypertension has long been known to be a causative factor for a multitude of medical ailments. Hypertension has further been noticed to have significantly increased in recent years, posing a public health concern. While medical costs and inconvenience may deter potential patients from seeking frequent blood pressure monitoring, new advances in wearable medical devices have made it possible to measure blood pressure cheaply and conveniently from the comfort of one’s home. Tsinghua University, China, researchers designed a wearable device and a novel blood pressure measurement technique for continuous monitoring. The wearable device can be generalized across individuals and has considerable promise in personal healthcare applications.
Hypertension is a medical ailment that has received significant scrutiny over the past few decades. A condition wherein the arterial blood pressure is higher than normal over a long period of time, it has been implicated as a significant risk factor in conditions such as heart failure, strokes, and atrial fibrillation, among others. Lifestyle and genetic factors greatly increase the risk of having high blood pressure, and it has been noted to be a cause of premature death all over the world.
We can see that the measurement of blood pressure regularly can have significant positive impacts by letting individuals know about irregularities in a timely and convenient manner. Wearable medical devices also eliminate other factors in the mismeasurement of blood pressure, including human error and blood pressure variability in various settings. Ambulatory monitors have been developed for this purpose, which can be used to measure blood pressure at certain intervals, but even these cannot provide continuous measurement of blood pressure and prove to be inconvenient to the user since they often need to be used at a frequency of once every 15 to 30 minutes, and interrupt the progression of daily life.

Every time I try and draw Bora (my stupid oc) I can’t get it out of my head that his ass looks like a (modern-ish) human Narinder.

I do think it’s incredibly fun when people say my oc looks like “insert character from something else” but I am an outlier. Don’t tell this to other artists who aren’t me.

:))) I finally rode a horse again today. It was literally just a short trail/pony ride but I haven't ridden in like a decade but I miss it so much. I would love to take lessons, but I lack reliable transportation out to any of my local barns... but!! Today I got to ride a Tennessee Walker (my first experience on a gaited breed!) and my gf rode a Halflinger. AND we got to pet a couple different draft breeds and the sweetest barn cat ever and I bought a Breyer model for myself. Very very very happy and fun day <3

wanting to have sex with a character literally makes EVERYONE STUPID!!!!!!!
#i used to say this about matt murdock and its true. his disease poisons womens brains like the chum bucket helmets in the spongebob movie#and makes them fill his tag with x reader fanfics portraying him as a sexy charming devil even tho his drywall is full of fist sized holes#anywas. this is about sagawa#because i think he is very interesting. i really like this realisation at the end that he was just as much of a cog in the machine as majim#and that all the violence he committed was impersonal and meaningless and thats just part of the world that they live in#but you can also never EVER look for content for him. because everyone hates him and the people who dont hate him WANNA FUCK HIM!!! WHY!!!#and u know what im sure that wouldnt be so bad if wanting to fuck him DIDNT MAKE EVERYONE STUPID!!!#but his grindset mentality and abusive dadcore behaviour has scared away all the intellectual hoes!!!!!#idk.... in the fandom there is a lack of like..... people wanting to engage with a dark crime story on its merits. i know there is antics#but like. theres not just antics. i kind of like the mirei stuff because it goes hey this fan favourite guy you like is A BAD PERSON.#just like all the people in these games. because theyre involved in organised crime. ITS CALLED. ITS CALLED YAKUZA.#so i think icking away from some characters because theyre 'too bad' isnt in the spirit of these games.#when kiryu is beating shibusawa to a pulp at the end of y0 he still thinks of oda you know#and stop wanting to fuck everyone!!!!!!! its making you retarded!!!!!!! ok end of post

hey gang im about to bestow upon you the sickness that plagues my bendy side order esque au
no real name yet but suggestions are welcome (this is code for PLEASE GIMMIE ONE I NEED IT)
basically if you're not supposed to be in the simulation that the au takes place in and/or you're blood related to one of the admins of it (which was gwen's case) you will experience the seventh layer of hell in the form of an illness exclusive to the simulation.
symptoms include but are not limited to:
• Dry cough
• Fever over 100°
• Chills
• Shortness of breath
• Fatigue
• "Hallucinations" (which are really just glimpses of the real world)
• Glitching in and out of existence (duration may vary from person to person)
• Discoloration
• Twitching
• Change of voice
there is indeed a pseudo-cure, which is to escape the simulation within 72 hours after symptoms begin to appear, but within, the disease just has to be tolerated.

The Healer 3
Teen!ReaderxAvengers
Summary: Y/n helps heal the Rift caused by the Sokovia Accords.
Warnings: Injuries, medical stuff (no needles)
Notes:
Gn!reader
Word count: 726
Two weeks after you got to the Tower, after you had gotten a hold of the rhythm, you learned most people’s names, and you learned more about the Cap Vs. Tony rift. Today you were hanging out in the living room People Watching.
It was interesting to observe how people went about their daily life. Even though you knew the Avengers probably weren’t the most normal sample, it was still fascinating. Today you fixated on one guy. He walked with leg braces and seemed bitter towards Steve’s side of the team.
He sat with his back towards you, watching the news. From here you could see the problem was in his spine. The injury glowed gold, as all do. Focusing even more you could make out exactly what the problem was. You closed your eyes and focused on this sixth ‘injury’ sense you had.
Floating in your mind’s eye, you could see the problem in detail. It seemed like some blunt-force trauma had nearly completely crushed the spine, and thus the connections to the legs. It would take about three hours for you to completely fix. For him, it would never heal.
Further investigation led to the realization that he was probably in a lot of pain. Despite still having his legs attached, he was suffering from phantom limb pain. That, along with the stress of relying on his upper body was a life of pain.
“Y/n?” A voice asked. You opened your eyes. The man was still in his chair.
“Yeah?” You asked,
“Could you grab the remote?”
“Sure.” You hopped up and brought it to him. He switched the channel to some cop drama.
“Okay,” You said during a commercial break, “This is gonna sound a little weird, but please bear with me.”
He nodded, slightly unsure.
“So, has Stark explained my powers?”
“Not in great detail, why do you ask?”
Uh…” You hesitated and then quickly replied. “Because I think I can heal you. Also what’s your name?” A moment of shocked silence.
“I thought… Huh. It’s James Rhodes. Are you sure? I’ve had this since over a year ago, it’s not the type of thing that heals. Doesn’t it just transfer to you?”
“I’ve healed way older stuff than that, it’ll be fine.” You bluffed.
“That would just shift being paralyzed to you.”
“Nope. I can fix almost anything. I once dragged a guy off of death’s doorstep.”
“When would you do it?”
“I was thinking we could head down to the Med Bay right now, unless you have other plans.” And so you two walked to the Med Bay. You wanted to be there so you could update Dr. Cho on his condition, and so that she’d be there in case you needed pain meds or something similar. Also, she’d never seen your powers in action before and was very interested.
She hooked both of you up to machines that monitored seemingly everything. Rhodes laid face down on a medical examination table, and you sat in a raised chair beside him. Slowly you set your hands on his lower back, and you both felt a warm sensation as the injury was lifted from one body and flowed into another.
“Describe the feeling.” Dr. Cho said, watching the screens, the charts, you and Rhodes all at the same time.
“It’s warm.” Rhodes said.
“Like a glow.” You added.
“It’s like a weight was lifted off my shoulders.”
"Keep talking." She prompted.
“I can’t feel anything waist-down.” You laughed, “This is up there for one of the weirdest sensations out there. It’s not even tingly like pins and needles. I can feel my spine already repairing itself. Only about two hours and fifty-eight minutes left!” You said cheerfully.
“It’s one of the most amazing things I’ve ever felt.” He paused, and clarified, “Feeling after not feeling for so long is weird.”
“Can you sit up, James?” Dr. Cho asked.
“I think so.” And sure enough, he sat up. Dr. Cho looked on in amazement.
“This is a truly wonderful gift, Y/n.” She said.
“Mhmm.” You hummed, in a considerable amount of pain.
During hour one you regained some feeling in your legs.
In hour two the pain faded.
Half an hour after that you could stand in place.
The third hour was devoted to re-learning how to walk.
Hour four was spent planning how to best surprise Tony.
Part 2, Part 4
