I hope we get the Smythe-Smith concert during Polin’s season if only to contrast Colin’s unwillingness to endure bad singing/butchered music. Because we know he is a good singer and not tone deaf.

He immediately fled the Featherington drawing room, abandoning his mother, brother and Marina to avoid having to suffer through it.

But he’s going to sit through a truly ear piercing concert just to be near Penelope and I can’t wait to see it.

Would a Marmoran Blade pass the TSA PreCheck?

Since Earth would eventually have a fair mix of species from other planets, there will be some things that are toxic and lethal to humans, along with things like new metals (ex. Luxite). There’s a chance Earth technology may not be advanced enough to identify these new things.

Imagine Keith and the rest of the Voltron Team goes to Universal Studios and Keith has his blade on him:

Lance: *looks at Keith’s ass* damn.

Lance: Wait. Keith. Is that your blade?

Keith: Yeah, why?

Pidge: You idiot! Now we have to go back to the parking lot.

Keith: Why??

Pidge: Because that will a hundred-percent not pass the security check.

Hunk: But we already went through the TSA at the airport?

…

Shiro: Just put it back, Keith.

Keith does not put it back. It passes the security check and actually ends up saving them, as someone has a gun. At the minions ride.

So basically Earth would have to upgrade their technology by a bazillion-fold. Keith’s blade does not get confiscated when the police come, but he does get a warning.

Keith: Why should I have to get warned? I saved everyone!

Shiro: Yes, but you had a literal blade in your pocket. That goes against basically every rule.

Lance: Not to mention the fact that you easily could’ve killed everyone there if you wanted to.

Keith: Why would I kill everyone? I just spent the last years of my childhood sacrificing myself for the greater good of the universe!

Lance: Yeah, but you never know! You’d be surprised on how fast people can change their morals.

Hunk: Wait.. where’s Allura and Coran?

Pidge: they probably went on a ride without us.

Also I think another reason why Fabina for me is so compelling is because Fabian (and Amber) are Nina's Rufus and Victor. Her two closest friends. People she loves dearly. People she wants to protect. People she trusts.

Except these two would never betray her. These two love her.

Sarah had a whole group of people who were actively after her or her knowledge. Nina has a whole group of people standing beside her.

Because Sarah was on her own for so long. Those who really knew her were too dangerous. But Nina? Nina is, dare I say, a danger to her two friends (no fault of her own, but they also leap headfirst into the darkness with her even when she asks them not to). Sarah pulled away to keep herself safe (and the secrets entrusted to her, and therefore the world). Nina pulled away because she wanted to keep her friends safe.

obsessed with the idea that Richard Papen isn't from Plano, California but instead Plano, TEXAS because the only fictitious places in the book are Hampden College and the town Hampden, so why does Donna Tartt choose to make it so Richard says he is from California?

Because it is more interesting for this new and mysterious person in a new town to lie and say they are from somewhere interesting, from the beginning of the story, it is one of the first indications to the reader that Richard himself is a liar and because he is the one narrating the story after all that has happened he can do whatever he wants and tell the story that he wants, (for example; Richard claims that Camilla kisses him multiple times throughout the book but every time this happens no one is around and after it happens it doesn't go anywhere, it doesn't further the plot, it is just there)
