This was a very silly movie; all about some students lives at a high school, but it did end well.

Actually like that they did a little homage to Sil’s train dream sequence from the first Species movie. A nice nod to that memorable scene.

Real life married couple Ethan Embry and Sunny Mabrey will play fake life married couple Arthur and Crystal Brown on this season of Gotham Knights on The CW. Mabrey will debut in Episode 5, Embry in Episode 6.

ARTHUR BROWN (Ethan Embry) — The meticulous and eccentric host of a Jeopardy-like game show, Arthur is always the smartest person in the room — and he knows it. On the surface, he’s charming and perfectly coiffed, with high expectations for his daughter, the only person who comes close to matching his intellect. But a dark side lurks beneath the surface, with Arthur extremely careful to keep his family’s personal life from becoming public fodder, even if it means breaking a few rules.

CRYSTAL BROWN (Sunny Mabrey) — Elegant and eye-catching, as the wife of a local celebrity, Crystal exudes a natural, camera-ready charisma. However, to those closest to her, Crystal runs warm as sunshine one minute, and brutally ice cold the next, because she’s battling a secret addiction that could ruin the lives of her entire family.

The series was kind of ass, in an early 2000s trashy cop show kind of way, but I did appreciate the episode of "CSI: Miami" where the lovely and always welcome Sunny Mabrey (the girl from the "Nookie" video for Limp Bizkit, and the sequels to "Species", as well as being wasted in "Snakes on a Plane") played a Southern trophy wife murder suspect, and was not in fact the murderer, but was super reasonable, and had become a trophy wife to provide for her family back home and get the hell out of her tiny terrible town, and had been giving stuff to the murder victim to sell so she could supplement her own income and escape her family. I just found it a neat, nice little character, and somewhat subversive from the usual "evil trophy wife stepmother" archetype. Odd for that show. Plus I binge watched the whole thing with a dear friend and flatmate when I lived with them, and we got much enjoyment from it and I need to share it.

having followed gk filming and casting i actually think it’s far more likely harvey’s love interest will be rebecca march (played by actress lauren stamile who’s 46) or potentially even crystal brown (sunny mabrey, 47) — i think the gk producers and showrunners are very conscientious about the type of character they want harvey to be and i don’t think that necessarily involves hooking up with a much younger love interest/interests.

but we’ll soon see!
