Hey my Tumblr Peeps👋😃 After the 1st fanfic I have written about Spinner I did end up discovering more fanfics about him🦎 So, even tough I discovered more fanfics with Spinner in it after completing on writing the first fanfic I've ever written about him, I would like to imagine Spinner and some other My Hero Academia Characters (those I have written about and those I haven't written about) who I haven't recall discovered fanfics pertaining the characters getting drunk (or tipsy). While it's rare I write about characters or the reader getting drunk or I do head cannon(?) with multiple characters (which I have done a Punch Man head cannon pertaining 5 to 6 characters in it, before), however I do wanna shake things up with this fanfic and decided to work on a head cannon(?) type character with multiple characters in it😃 When I do say adult pertaining a character it means 21, so any character who's under 21, I makesure I label them as adults to makesure I write all characters as adults🍾🍸🥃Some characters, if not most I picked randomly.

*Spinner doesn't usually drink often, however when he drinks he's okay with beer and hard liquor, however he does prefer wine coolers and with any liquor he also prefers, creamy or fruity or both. With his taste in alcohol, he rather have wine coolers and creamy and/or fruity liquors more than other liquors and beer, because of the taste mainly, and he tends to get atleast tipsy easily with just one of the wine coolers and creamy and/or fruity liquors alone. If there are no other alcoholic drinks available aside from beer and/or hard liquor he will drink them.

*When Spinner gets atleast tipsy, if not wasted, from drinking the alcohol he was drinking, he's actually a happy drunk. He's also super giggly when having fun. After getting home you decided to take care of him, even though he wanted to take care of you as well. After you put him in bed and went on the bed too. (The rest of the night depends on the reader's imagination).

⭐New Character (For Me) To Write About⭐

*Camie isn't into hard drinks that much, unless it's fireball and prefers the creamier alcoholic beverages, and certain mixed drinks (which fire ball, creamy alcoholic drinks, and certain mixed drinks are the most she will drink when it comes to hard alcoholic beverages). She just loves the cinnamon taste, and/or sweetness, and/or creaminess when it comes to alcoholic beverages. That's basically what her taste in alcohol would be.

*Just in one glass of any alcohol she drinks, she seems to get drunk alread, no matter if she chugs it or if she takes her time with it. *When Mina does get tipsy, she's gets very giggly and blushes every time she giggles. She's definitely more of a cuddly type with you. Luckily for Mina, she's someone who will drink atleast water before and after she gets tipsy. It's just when she knows she starts to get tipsy, she will wait until she sobers up before she goes back to drinking in the same night. She does know when to stop drinking alcohol for the night tough.

*Mina does like to makesure to keep her hangover prevented, because of the first time she was drunk and she doesn't want to get you worried about her. So, with her hangovers she does tend to overthink about. When you and Mina are home, she can makesure you are tooken cared of while she keeps sure that she takes care of herself to makesure of no signs of hangover occurs on her end.

Gang Orca (Aka, Kugo Sakamata)

*Gang Orca will likely drink any alcohol, however without you around him, he reay prefers not to drink much, if at all. He feels safer with you around when he drinks, and he prefers to drink whatever you drink, that goes for mixed drinks as well.

*When Gang Orca gets tipsy, he will be more smitten with you than usual. He also shows his goofy side more, mainly with you. While he tends to be a little perverted with you, he will also have some respect about it.

*If Gang Orca sees anyone he gets bad vibes about, he is definitely protective over you. However, since he rather avoid confrontation while tipsy, he will ask if you're ready to leave or go home in the nicest way possible to cue you out of the (bar and/or night club). He really wants to protect you without having to beat someone up, if they were to try to take you away from him.

* Once you and Orca walk to your shared home with him, he somehow, instantly, sobers up. You still decided to take care of him while he takes care of you in return. You didn't know he sobered up until either he tells you or that he's not showing off his goofy side in front of you.

⭐New Character For Me To Write About ⭐

Edgeshot (Aka, Shinya Kamihara)

*Edgeshot isn't exactly a beer drinker, however he will drink about any alcoholic beverage, otherwise. It does seem like his favorite alcoholic beverages are sake and wine (especially red wine). He loves sake and red wine so much he's willing to have one glass of each.

*When Edgeshot ends up drinking one glass of red wine and one glass of sake, he will start to feel buzzed. He's more of a social drunk, a blushy drunk, and a drunk flirt with only you. Yes, he flirts occasionally and never flirts with anyone else otherwise sober, however he flirts with you non-stop, he's more affectionate than usual, and confesses his feelings for you more (while blushing), he will also wait for you to make the first move on him and he still will respect you while drunk, as much as he does, when sober.

*If anyone else does dare to try to disrespect or hit on you, Edgeshot will give them a warning that if they don't leave you alone he will knock them outcold, while he's drunk, which sometimes he ended up having to do when they don't cooperate with him on his warning. He's not a mean nor a fighting drunk. He just wants to keep you safe.

*Edgeshot will definitely carry you home. He is definitely more successful with carrying you drunk, than he would with carrying you home sober. When you go to try to take care of him, he ends up making sure he takes care of you instead, that includes tucking you in the bed, if you want. So, he will definitely be more than happy spoil you and wait on you non-stop when he's drunk, and just because he respects, doesn't mean he will listen to you on waiting on you, even if you pleaded to him on trying to convince him to even let you take care of him. He just loves you that much.

⭐New Character (For Me) To Write About⭐

Selkie (aka, Kainan Hīrō Serukī (according to what I googled search🤷‍♀️)

*Selkie is one of those occasional drinkers who will drink about anything (beer Included), as long as, it's not eighty proof or higher. So, he's otherwise not really picky on alcohol really. And when he does plan on drinking he would like for his other sidekicks (and/or crewmates) and ofcourse you to party with him.

*Selkie might maybe be pretty funny (depending on the characters preference about how he poses and stuff) when sober, however when Selkie is drunk, he's definitely a hilarious drunk and there are times when he does get drunk, you get drunk right with him, tough you try to not get as drunk as he is, because you know he tends to get a bad hangover the next morning, so you're not sure how he is able to be okay with having such a bad hangover. His alcohol tolerance might be why his taste in alcohol is the way it is. If he drinks a sip or a shot of any alcohol that's about eighty proof or more would definitely make him gag instantly and he feels it's not fun to drink alcohol that makes (atleast) him gag instantly.

* You and his sidekicks (and/or crewmates) took care of him, and you watchover him everytime he gets drunk and a hangover. When he wakes up and realizes that he has a hangover he thinks it's worth it. And he's happy you're watching over him, because he knows he's in safe hands when it comes to his hangover. You and Selkie also know this fact: Selkie would have done the same for him, if you ended up with a bad hangover and he had to take care of you. He really is happy to see you anytime of the day.

(Adult) Tamaki Amajiki (Aka Suneater)

*When it comes to alcohol Tamaki's a low-key drinker, so you're the only one who knows that he drinks alcohol. So, he prefers to be inside of his place or inside your place when he drinks, until you and Tamaki lived together, then he low-key drinks at your place. Even tough he also doesn't drink alcohol often, when does, he rather drink fruit flavored alcohol beverages that tastes, as long as it's not strong on alcohol (higher the proof the stronger the alcohol will taste and feel to him), so if it's alcoholic beverage tastes and feels strong while it's at a certain percentage (or proof) and or higher, it will taste nasty to him and will make him gag.

*When Tamaki gets drunk off of the alcoholic beverage of his choice, he actually feels more confident than he does when he's sober, ironically. He confesses his hopes and dreams about your relationship with him and also with any from of affection and/or intimacy, he rather you make the first move on him for rather not be pushy with you. When you make the first move on him with (any form of affection and/or intimacy depending on the reader's imagination), he makes his move back with you, which made him blush and happy.

*Right after you and Tamaki got done with (any form of affection and/or intimacy depending on the reader's imagination), Tamaki is the type to hold you in a cuddling fashion, then he will ask you to hold him the same way (if not similar). He will be falling asleep right away, once you start holding him a similar way. He is the type who will have a weeks worth of a hangover after waking up at the time he wakes up. You obviously wake up to cook him breakfast and prepare to give him any medicine and or anything you have you have for his hangover, before he wakes up.

Hello! thank you so much for your request and for your patience! Now I must admit- I've never watched adventure time😅 but i did some research on the character so I hope it turned out how you wanted! It's been a long time since I've written for BNHA so this was fun to write lol

Character: Edgeshot x First year intern !PLATONIC!

“Okay, and don’t forget- at 3:00 your first year intern will be here for the first day of internship.” Edgeshot nodded towards his assistant, thanking the woman before she left his office.

Today he’d formally meet his new intern- Y/n. Taking interns wasn’t unusual for Edgeshot perse, but he had to admit he could be a bit picky. So when he witnessed Y/n’s caring nature and impeccable teamwork abilities? He knew he had to train this young hero.

He had taken the intermission during the sports festival to have a small chat with some of her teachers, to try and grasp an idea of her personality. That’s when he discovered an important detail about the first year- Y/n was not a fan of adults.

She was respectful to her teachers, listened in class and participated as much as necessary…but the young hero definitely kept her distance. She never asked for help, she kept her conversations brief and did her best not to stick around more than she was required to. Her teachers knew she was kind, they knew she cared about her classmates- it was just clear she wasn’t as fond of adults.

Did this stop the ninja hero from putting in an offer? It most certainly did not.

Now, yes, Y/n was not a fan of adults- hate was a strong word but it wasn’t entirely inaccurate. Adults were haughty, hypocritical, and from her point of view acted more like children than she did.

Of course, whenever she pointed this out she got scolded, or worse- lectured. Adults were awful, with the exception of one..

The very man who chose her as his intern; the Ninja Hero, Edgeshot.

As adults go, he was just dandy.

He was humble, appreciated his privacy, and he treated everyone with respect. In Y/n’s eyes he’s what all adults should be: reliable, respectful, and honest.

As much as she’d like to deny it- she rather liked the ninja hero, even if he was an adult.

He took a deep breath, it was 2:05 so he had just under an hour until she’d get to the agency. He felt silly saying he was nervous, but if he was being honest to himself…he really was just a little concerned.

He knows he shouldn’t be stressed about a teenager not liking him- it was normal for teens to be less than thrilled with adults.

But would he be a good mentor if she hated him?

Could he teach her how to be a good hero if she had no regard for what he had to say?

What if she wouldn’t listen to him- would he have to send her back..? He’s never failed a student, and she showed such promise, what if- “Sir, she’s here.” Shoot- had it been an hour already? “Send her in”

Edgeshot stood from his desk, choosing instead to lean against it- mayhaps going for a more…relaxed approach, would benefit the future of this relationship. A knock sounded at the door, and he responded with a simple, “Come in,” In the most even keeled non-threatening tone he could muster.

The door opened and the young girl walked in and came to stand a good distance away- close enough they could talk, but far enough she was still comfortable. He may have been extremely cool, but he was still an adult.

“Good afternoon sir, my name is Y/n L/n, my hero name is H/n,” As the first year introduced herself Edgeshot took a brief moment to examine her. Her expression was one of calm, and her tone was neutral- if she hated him she was good at hiding it.

Her posture was confident, but she looked a little…nervous, maybe even a little excited to be meeting him. He watched her take a small breath, before her expression shifted to the ground, “…It’s an honor to be working with you…Edgeshot.” His eyes briefly widened, before a small (although unnoticeable) smile found itself on his face.

He slowly nodded, “It’s an honor to be working with you as well, H/n. I saw how you conducted yourself at the sports festival. You’re quick on your feet, and you have a good eye for character…I believe there’s a lot we can both learn from this internship.”

It was almost like her eyes had a fire ignited in them, he could tell she was passionate about being a hero- she just needed the right mentor to nurture and grow that talent that was so obviously inside.

“Yes sir, I’m looking forward to it!”

Y/n hated adults, but she supposed that just this once, she’d have to make an exception.

Could you please right for platonic Edgeshot with a an autistic UA kid who hates adults ? They have lots of interests ( mostly sciense one ) like biology life and handcrafts, but also the Ninja hero himself ! An internship one

Please excuse for such a detailed requests, thank you !

This is gonna be a bit of a long author’s note, but I need to explain some stuff. I decided on HCs, because they're just much easier to write in my opinion. The interests don’t really play into this because I couldn’t really figure out how to fit them in here so it made sense. I’ve never written Edgeshot before and I honestly don’t have a very good grasp on his personality, because he’s such a minor character in the series. I’ve recently come to the conclusion that I’m autistic. After about a half a year of research and talking with family about how I was as a kid, etc, etc, just looking at my life and past experiences with that possibility in mind basically. So this is basically based on my own experience as an autistic person.

•You’ve got some issues with authority and adults in general, which Edgeshot notices quite quickly

•It’s not that you don’t have respect for adults, it’s just that they often don’t have respect for you, which you absolutely hate

•But Edgeshot is someone you look up to a ton and he’s someone you respect and who respects you also

•Of course he does still treat you like the teenager you are, and someone he’s guiding in the ways of becoming a pro-hero, but he doesn’t see you as incapable or anything, just as someone who has a lot to learn

•Edgeshot is actually a very good mentor, but he can come off as a bit distant and somewhat strict

•He absolutely does not stand for lying or deceit of any kind, so you need to always be honest with him and if he asks for your opinion you can tell him what you’re thinking, he won’t be offended even if it’s something he doesn’t like to hear

•Edgeshot realizes the internship can be pretty taxing on you, especially if you’ve got high sensitivity to noise and stuff like that

•He also offers advice on how you can make your hero suit more practical and you figure out some stuff to help with your sensory issues too with the suit, at least during the internship

•Since you need the practical experience of being in the field, Edgeshot takes you with him on patrols

•Some encounters with the civilians can be overwhelming and he does keep an eye on you in case you’re starting to feel like it’s too much

•Edgeshot knows you also kind of have to get used to certain things, specifically because you want to be a pro-hero

•Things don’t always go as planned or like you want to, and even though it’s hard, you have to be able to deal with surprising situations

•Villains don’t really announce/schedule their misdeeds

•You’ve got some things you can stim with on your hero suit, like some short strings with beads that you can touch and play with

•You don’t really get along with the sidekicks at first, because you weren’t really sure what to think about them, but pretty much all of them turn out to be pretty nice people that have no problem with you being at the agency for an internship

[ This is a continuation of the Katsuki Bakugou x Male!Reader headcanon set. Fair warning there are implied feelings between other characters at the end of this. I hope all of you enjoy it! Again Happy Pride y'all! ]

[ Headcanons Summary: Your efforts to get closer to Katsuki and accept your sexuality continue. Luckily, an opportunity arises at the Fireworks Festival. While you were also ordered by Best Jeanist to be vigilant during the event, Katsuki proves to show a little jealousy when it comes to you and by the end of the night, turns a little possessive. ]

As luck would have it, Best Jeanist invited his agency's members and interns to the Fireworks Festival to support the community and act as a safety measure in case villain's attack. You saw this as an opportunity to make your move as Camie suggested.

On the day of the Fireworks Festival, Camie helped pick your outfit claiming that Katsuki "Totes won't be able to resist you!" which you hoped worked considering when you arrived, he looked stunned when he saw you and shyly glanced away. Although you didn't have much time to process this because Best Jeanist gave the laydown of what you had to do during the festival.

"You are welcome to partake in the events and games, but I require you to patrol the perimeter of the festival every hour," he explained, gazing over his employees but lingering on Katsuki and you. 'I hope Bakugou treats them well,' he thought. If not, he'd try his hardest to set him straight, but knew matters of the heart were to be settled between those involved.

Despite wanting to make a move, your thoughts were jumbled, and you weren't sure how to approach Katsuki, even if you did, there was no telling what his reaction would be. You still remember how tender and sore your neck was from the last time he was angry at you. So, you decided to play a few festival games to calm yourself.

"Ah, come on!" you shouted, lowering the BB gun. Maybe a shooting game wasn't the ideal way to win a prize. "Are you having trouble?" came a deep voice, and you turned to see Shinya Kamihara also known as the Ninja Hero: Edgeshot. As usual, he was dressed in his hero costume and took the BB gun from you. "Allow me to try," he insisted, gently cupping your chin with one hand before turning to the booth and more importantly, the moving red targets.

Katsuki became extremely angry when he saw you with Shinya who handed you a stuffed animal and kissed you on the cheek. As he approached, he demanded, "What the hell is going on here?!" Shinya smiled from underneath his mask. "Ah, Bakugou it's wonderful to-" he glared at the older man. "What's the big idea, huh? Trying to win him over or something!?" he said before unleashing his quirk.

After the shooting game booth incident, you were in shock and needed more time to think. Katsuki cared enough to impress you. But he only did it out of jealousy or so you suspected given how Shinya not only won you a prize but kissed your cheek. Why did he do that anyway and was Katsuki jealous because another man gave you attention? There were so many questions and so few answers.

"Hey dumbass!" you heard him call. The sun was setting, and you were almost finished with your patrol. "Oh, h-hi Bakugou uh-ah!" He grabbed you by the front of your shirt and pulled you close. Your face flushed as you stared into his red eyes. "You're watching the fireworks show with me," he said before releasing you.

You were tempted to call Camie and have her save you. However, she would only tell you not to give up and to "Totes go after him!" You still struggled to accept the fact that you were gay and when you thought about it, love was scary. But you were a hero and couldn't back down from this challenge, right?

You decided to get cotton candy before walking to the fireworks show entrance where Katsuki was waiting for you. You nervously ate as you sat in the grass beside him. "Hey!" he shouted, almost making you choke. "I want a piece," he said. "Uh, it's nearly gone but okay," you replied, handing him a piece before helping yourself to the last bite.

As the fireworks continued, you smiled at the colorful hues and images blasting into the sky. Your hands were curled into the grass and Katsuki grinned, placing his hand over yours and catching your attention. "Uh, B-Bakugou what are-" You shivered when you saw his angry expression. "Focus on the fireworks," he demanded, and you nodded before turning your head back.

"Come on!" Katsuki grabbed your wrist and pulled you to your feet after the fireworks show ended. "Ah, hey! W-where are we going?" you asked as you were dragged past the closed food stands and game booths. "None of your damn business!" Katsuki replied, which didn't make sense to you unless he wanted it to be a surprise.

You cried out when he pinned you against the wall of the nearby building outside the Fireworks Festival. "I'm hungry," he stated, leering down at you. Despite your rapid heart rate and flushed cheeks, you look at him confused. "W-what do you mean you're hungry? Get something to eat! There's a bunch of restaurants and-" You were silenced by his hand grasping your jaw. "I'm craving something else dumbass!" he growled.

His lips tasted sweet and whether that was due to the cotton candy he ate or just his natural taste was unknown. His kiss was desperate and sent shivers down your spine. "Mm, wait!" you said, leaning back and panting desperately. "I...I t-thought you were straight," you commented, making him growl. "Does it matter what gender I like, dumbass! I like you, so shut the hell up and kiss me!" he demanded.

"Should we intervene?" Shinya questioned, turning to Tsunagu. The two of them were sitting atop a building together, perhaps on night patrol. In actuality, they had been watching you and Katsuki. If Keigo were here, Tsunagu assumed he'd make a humorous joke about being 'chaperone hawks.' He shook his head in reply. "I trust Bakugou will not hurt them," he said before walking away. "I also believe you have interfered enough," he stated as Shinya followed him.

Once they were far away enough, Tsunagu turned to him. "How did you know young Bakugou would react so negatively to your advancements towards Y/n?" he questioned. Shinya chuckled in response. "I have reacted and felt a similar way when others speak to you," he admitted before glancing up at the stars. "It is brave to be a hero, but even braver to be yourself in this otherwise judgemental world," he smiled, turned to face the taller man, and cupped his cheek. "They will be fine," he assured.

Summary:

Sexual frustration and longing desire had you feeling needy after a teasing phone call with Shinya. Part of you hoped he came over to your place while you were in the middle of dealing with a certain problem he caused. Little did you know your little prayer would be answered.

In spite of every ounce of reassurance you gave yourself, sometimes your frustrations were eating you alive. You didn’t want to ruin anything, let alone end up pushing Shinya away. Not getting to see him often did have you missing him more and more every time he left. It did allow your mind to wander in specific vulnerable moments. Even though you didn’t want to rush into anything physical due to being a virgin, that didn’t mean you were ignorant to your body’s desperation or sexual frustration. “Don’t be silly, you know I enjoy it.” He said, giving a soft chuckle. “Besides, I would’ve answered if it wasn’t for a particularly difficult villain that we came across.”

“I hope everything went smoothly, although from how tired you sound I imagine not.” You said, wishing you could comfort him more.

“It did, it was just more tedious than anticipated. Nothing me and my team couldn’t handle, of course.” He explained, the background noise of the street suddenly disappearing. “I hope I didn’t worry you.”

“You always do, it comes with the territory of dating a Pro-Hero.” You joked, softly laughing. “But I know how good you are at your job, the worry leaves just as quick as it appears. I almost wish I could give you some sort of special thank you gift for all your dedication and hard work.” The words registered in your mind after they left your mouth.

A brief pause happened on the other end of the line before he spoke up again. “Like what?” He asked in a blatant teasing tone. “What kind of gift?”

“Oh–well uhm I mean I could think of a few things but I don’t uhh…” You trailed off, your face heating up as you struggled to come up with literally any example. You heard him chuckle, the sound turning your mind to mush and had a pulsing need building between your legs. “Stop laughing at me.” You whined.

“I just want to know what kind of gift I’m expecting.” He continued teasing. “I sincerely hope it’s what I had in mind, considering how much I adore that already.”

Your face burned more. “And what’s that, hm? Sin–Since you wanna ruin the surprise.” You were struggling to maintain his level of joking and teasing.

“You.” He said simply. The way he said it, had you taking a hard swallow. You didn’t have much time to process let alone respond before he continued. “I can’t wait to see what you have in store when I come over. I care for you dearly, my heart. Goodbye.”

It was that time of the year again: the annual Christmas Party. Each year, one agency is selected to cater and host pros from across the country for a holiday feast at few nights before Christmas Eve, since that's when couples spend time together. This year in particular was different from the rest in that Shinya Kamihara, better known as Edgeshot, was hosting. You weren't that famous of a pro, but that's not the main reason you didn't really want to attend.

The truth was, you had really grown to have a crush on him. He was mysterious in a sense, but his true personality was kind and warm-hearted. Previously, the two of you had worked together to take down various villains around the city, which was half the way you got to know him. The other half was by running into him at the most questionable places, like the same restaurant or the same line in a grocery store. You were able to make small talk, and get to know him more on a personal level than anything.

You were particularly good friends with a few members of the U.A. staff, who urged you to attend and maybe even confess your feelings to the shinobi-like man. It was as simple as they made it out to be, yet you found it to be one of the hardest feats in your life to achieve. Arriving on time, though, you were as ready as you could ever be.

"I'm glad you could make it," Shinya eyed you up and down, taking in your features. Your choice of wardrobe to him was befitting of the event, and quite frankly looked very good on you. "Please, make your way inside."

"Thank you, S- Edgeshot."

"Please, call me Shinya here. We're off duty, so it would make sense for you to address me as such."

"Oh, I understand… Shinya." You blushed slightly, a bit unfamiliar with the name rolling off your tongue. "The decorations are lovely."

"We had help from our resident tree and mountain." He sighed, gesturing in the direction of Kamui Woods and Mt. Lady, who each seemed to have a date of their own. And then there was you, casually talking to the leader of the trio of heroes.

"Shinji and Yu? I'm not surprised about Shinji, but Yu? How did you get her to help?"

"With a bit of persuasion and bribery, she gladly did it."

"Oh. But not only that, but… isn't the media saying that the two of them are-"

"-an item? Yes, but that's not true in the slightest. They have significant others, they just don't feel comfortable releasing the information to the public as of yet." That made complete sense.

"Well, I'm glad they're happy…" You sighed.

Shinya had been guiding you around the party for at least twenty minutes by now, introducing you to new pros, old pros, pros you already knew, and even took you over to formally meet Shinji and Yu (as if you didn't already know them). Before you knew it, you had to ask him to escort you to the restrooms because of how crowded it became.

"They're right down this hallway to the left."

"Oh, okay, thanks-" Wait a second. You looked up at the doorway to see… a piece of mistletoe hanging right above the two of you.

Oh no.

"Is there anything wrong, Y/N?" He looked up as well, his eyes widening before exclaiming, "well, isn't this the best of predicaments."

"Well, this is a mistletoe, so… I guess we're supposed to kiss-"

You took notice that Shinya had pulled his mask (that he always wears) down enough for you to see his lips, surprisingly plump, before he leaned forward and placed a tender kiss on yours. It felt surreal, as if it wasn't supposed to happen. But yet you felt drawn to him, so you wrapped your arms around his neck and let your body do the talking. His hand found your way onto your hips and pulled you closer.

After a few more seconds, he pulled away, gazing into your eyes.

"I've been in love with you since the day I set my eyes on you. Would you be mine on this Christmas Eve?"

"I would love to, Shinya. You didn't even have to ask."
