Professor Severus Snape, potions master, had it down bad for you, his final year student.
With a wave of his wand, the door slammed shut and the lock latched. You were sitting on his lap, frantically kissing. Your mouths smashed against each other with a deep desperation. You smirked into his lips as you felt your potions professor grind against you, begging for more. His hands were around your waist as he pulled you closer until you were flush against his chest. Then, he pulled away. “We shouldn’t do this,” he whispered, pressing his forehead against yours.
“Sir…” you whispered back, gulping softly. You were about to continue your sentence when he attacked your lips again feverishly. You knew when you called him ‘sir’ it had him weak at the knees.
You let out a soft moan as his tongue forced its way into your mouth, swirling around your own, fighting for dominance. His hands were still planted firmly on your waist, grasping at the clothing that was surrounding your hips. Oh how he wanted more from you.
It was like you could read his mind as you began grinding against him, eager to feel his clothed erection against your most intimate area. You let out a muffled moan against his lips as you continued to grind yourself against him, and he couldn’t help but do the same. The man was close to cumming already and you had barely even touched him.
You hopped off his lap and gave him a cheeky grin before getting onto your knees.
“What are you doing?” He asked, breathing heavily.
“Just relax for me sir,” you whispered, unzipping his trousers. You looked up at him with those big doe eyes and smiled, fluttering your eyelashes at him.
Were you really about to do this here?!
You tugged his trousers down with a bit of help from the potions master himself and pulled his cock out of his grey boxers. It was positively huge, something you didn’t expect, and his slit was already leaking with pre-cum. Your mouth instantly began watering at the sight in front of you and before you had even had a chance to think about what you were doing - sucking off your potions professor in the potions room - you were already leaning forward to put his thick cock in your mouth. He tensed as you leaned forward, but immediately relaxed upon the warm heat of your mouth around his length.
“Shit,” he groaned, throwing his head back against his wooden chair. You took him all the way into your mouth, so far back that you were gagging on his cock, tears in your eyes as you looked up at him. The sight drove him wild and he began to fuck your face slowly. You continued to make eye contact with him, admiring the way his face was flushed red and sweat was threatening to spill from his brow as he concentrated on the amount of pleasure you were giving him. You tried to smile at him, but the sheer length of his cock in your mouth made it almost impossible. You swirled your tongue around the tip, licking up his slit and forcing him to shudder underneath you. “Shit - just like that,” he whimpered, hands making their way into your hair as he continued to thrust his hips into your face.
“You taste so good professor,” you mumbled around his cock. The vibrations of your words around his length sent him absolutely feral and he began to fuck your face faster. You gagged a few more times as the force of his thrusts continued to get harsher and harsher. He was using you like you were some sort of toy, and you were completely okay with that. You knew this was his first time and you wanted it to be pleasurable for him.
“Ah - I’m going to cum Y/N,” he groaned loudly as his movements picked up in speed. You hallowed your cheeks and continued to suck like your life depended on it until he spilled his seed down your throat, his hips stuttering violently. When he was finished, he retracted his cock from your mouth and placed his hand on your jaw to prevent you from opening your mouth. “That’s a good girl, swallow it. Swallow all of it.” You did as you were told, swallowing every last drop he gave you whilst still maintaining eye contact. “Such a good girl.”
He released your jaw and smiled awkwardly at you as you stood up from your kneeling position, rubbing at your red raw knees. “That was certainly interesting, sir,” you smiled. “But next time, I get to cum.”
He nodded, nerves fluttering in his stomach slightly, but he was too caught up in the afterglow of cumming to truly focus on your words. With a small peck on the lips, you turned to leave, leaving the potions master alone once more.
Professor Severus Snape, potions master, had it down bad for you, his final year student.

no but genuinely though,  thank you very much for reading !! it means a lot to me that you support my fanfics, whether you're an old or new reader of mine you are apart of the most girlboss place there is. reblogs and comments are greatly appreciated. have an amazing day 💖

“severus we can worry about your scarf later, we don’t want it to rain now do we.” you called from downstairs.
severus had been fumbling around with said scarf for quite some time. he had been  rather nervous and he couldn’t entirely figure out why. then he looked over to the one thing that he had bought and had merely regretted seconds after purchasing.
it was so expensive he contemplated why he bought the final choice in the shop, but he knew.
his life was worth living from that point onwards.
once he adjusted his scarf one last time, he took it, placing it in his pocket before heading downstairs to see your face.
you had beamed and was quick to take a hold of his hand. as you opened the door, the mid-autumn breeze hit you both and a smirk hit severus’ face. autumn was always his favourite time, he loved the leaves changing colour and his ability to wrap himself in more coats and scarves. he always was equipped for the autumn and winter season.
you had both been in for a long day, however it would be a day that you both planned for ages.
neither of you were one for having long days outside, and even then you would need to recharge before you planned on stepping foot outside again. it was severus who brought the concept up, which had been very out of character for him to say the least.
what was there outside that required an entire 24 hours was beyond you. but this was your lover, and you couldn’t help but love the moments in which he found himself impulsive.
you and severus started at the local bookshop, taking in every aesthetic of the bookshelves around you. the shop had recently introduced some new animal friends, cats, pygmy puffs, and many others graced their way to the shop to keep fellow attenders company. you loved stroking and tending to every animal there as they accompanied you to your bookshop adventures.
severus hadn’t been too fond of the animals, however if they made you happy then he was happy. after going to the bookshop, severus made a visit to a small café nearby to pick up some of your favourite sweet things, you had grown suspicious once he had asked you to wait outside, as you always went in with him to pick up these delicacies. but you had shrugged it off, just severus being severus.
“ready to go my dear?” you asked. and he nodded.
you  both made your way to a field, walks wit severs snape were always the best activity to do with him, a lot of your dates prior to today were always consisted of a slow journey that had no purpose, only for you both to smell the fresh air and be in one anothers presence, especially after long days where you find yourselves far apart. night walks seemed to be severus’ favourite thing, but of course you didn’t protest to that.
once you both found a perfect spot, you set up everything and indulged in your little day out you both were very much enjoying. you laid your head on severus’ lap as you eyes gazed at the beautiful view ahead of you.
you had taken out your wand, aiming it to the grass that bestowed upon you both.
“expecto patronum.” you chanted with your wand and your glowing rabbit patronus hopped around you both, surrounding you and severus in a beautiful blue wire binding you both together.
“your patronus will always be my favourite y/n.” severus said. you couldn’t help but giggle.
“i suppose i can let my one free for a moment.” he said.
he took his wand out from his inside pocket, and had it pointed to the ground.
“expect patronum.” he chanted quietly.
but much to both of your shock, nothing appeared. puzzled, severus tried again but to no avail. mumbling the spell over and over again, he smacked his wand several times on his thighs, had he really grown out of his wand?
“god forsaken piece of wood!” he muttered to himself.
you couldn’t help but giggle at his multiple attempts, tapping the wand on his lap in hopes that the magic would possibly work, your smile soon turned to small laughs, but severus happened to catch onto your little laughs.
“this isn’t funny, silly girl.” severus said, ruffling the ends of your hair before you let out more laughs. enough to make his heart melt.
“i know.” you suggested, you dug through your pockets and found a flower crown inside and put it on severus.
severus now had been bewildered by this action, turning his head slowly only for his brow to be raised, which you clearly couldn’t take seriously, and had only made you laugh some more.
“and…how is this supposed to help me?” he asked.
“trust me! it will work, try it.” you said.
severus couldn’t help but roll his eyes slightly, in actuality he did enjoy the feeling.
when he tried the patronus spell once more, he saw it had taken the form of your patronus. a rabbit hopping in and around the fields.
he would always have this hint of shock that he shared a patronus with someone, it was a feeling he could never get used to. you couldn’t help but beam at his reaction.
“severus, your patronus…”
you were just as stunned as he was, neither of you had thought this would happen. your chemistry with one another had been stronger and stronger, from the moment you and severus had set eyes on one another, you had known it was nothing but destiny that had pulled you together.
severus turned to you and instantly grabbed a hold of your hands, by instinct. there was something in him that realised the moment was just right.
in fact it was more than ‘just right,’ it was perfect.
he was really going to do this now…
“y/n…i never thought i’d ask you such a question, but i fear i can’t contain my feelings any longer.” severus said.
“y/n m/n l/n…”
꒱࿐♡ ˚.*ೃ
when severus had asked you to move into his home, not a single ounce of hesitance disappeared inside of him. he hated his home, he hated that he inhabited this place.
but he had no other choice but to at least maintain what little legacy he had (if he were to call it that.)
when you had settled in, you actually didn’t seem to mind spinner’s end and it had some sort of potential to it. severus constantly asked you how things were in the house, even the most mundane things he had constantly told you that it wasn’t the best but it was the best he could offer to you.
he feared that his best wasn’t entirely good enough for you, but you always did your best to reassure him that everything in his home was fine.
one day he had left for his job and you decided to do the things that snape had always promised to do in this house. you had planned it for a while, but had to find the perfect timing  and severus being away at hogwarts for the day seemed to fall perfectly in your plans.
you were in for a very long day ahead.
severus had always found the items in his home having a particular place in each room, he didn’t want anything to be changed or it wouldn’t have felt right to him. you had been very careful about that, you put everything into boxes so that they could be taken out later, and got round to deep cleaning the house from top to bottom.
severus had neglected the deep cleaning process, always at the back of his mind however, he never done so.
how could severus live like this? was all you could think about. considering how much neglect he had received from his father, that would have been one of the many factors.
once the deep cleaning was complete, you went to organize all of his books, they had a comforting feeling in your grasp. you took a note of how severus organized his shelves and followed it down to the point.
you had wanted to make this place at least worth coming home to for him. you had seen how miserable severus had lived his life and it hurt you to see that.
as the day went on you had been putting in the finishing touches of the house. you had rearranged the furniture slightly and as you had placed severus’ knick-knacks all over the house, it made you hope that he appreciated all you had done.
suddenly you heard the keys jangle outside and you bustled to the front door, quick to open it.
“sev! you’re back.” you squeaked slightly, shoving your entire body in his arm and peppering kisses all over his lips.
severus had been shocked at the sudden affection, he had never felt that he deserved such a thing.
“i’ve got something to show you.” you said excitedly.
you took his hand and there was where you showed him the house. a mixture of emotions wavered in, as you showed him all of the little details of the newly arranged home, severus couldn’t decipher the feelings he had in the moment.
you had shown him the ground floor of the house, the kitchen and the tiny hallway and then the living room.
his chair had remained the same, by the fire place. the bookshelves looked…new. for a fact he had known that the books on those shelves were nowhere near new.
you had been talking about the newly arranged desk, picking up some of his favourite quills here and there.
but severus said nothing.
that deadpan (with the added shock) expression remained, as you looked up to your lover you could tell he was going to explode at any second.
you frowned as you put down the quills, “i’m sorry…” you mumbled, walking past him and going upstairs. closing the door on the bedroom you shared, you cried quietly to yourself as you slumped on the floor.
then the door slowly opened again, through your glossy tears you saw severus.
he then did something you almost never saw him do before, he pulled you into his arms. it had been awkward at first but you warmed up to his touch, new tears dripping down your face.
“i’m so sorry…i should have asked you, it won’t…it won’t happen again.” you mumbled.
“why are you apologizing?” severus asked.
“because, i ruined your house. i thought it would be nice to give you something nice to come home to. but you don’t like it.” you sniffled.
you did all of that for him?
“why would you think i wouldn’t like it?” severus asked again.
“because you like everything to be the same. you don’t like changes, i did too much.” you said.
if anything, severus had liked the changes you made in his home. it felt like he had stepped into a completely different place and he grew to like it.
“darling…i do love it. you’ve done the one thing i wished i could do to this home, you have no need to be upset.” severus reassured.
that made you hug him even tighter, he could only smile only to himself. you both got up and continued your tour of the newly decorated home, rambling about the tiny items that meant a lot to the pair of you.
you even had dinner freshly made, and so you both sat on the floor by the fireplace, with plates of lasagne at hand. of course you made it and severus did in fact love your lasagne. you listened to  severus talk about his day, it warmed your heart that he was able to open up to you. that he felt accepted enough by you to talk not only of the past but the present also.
you had both finished your foods and now you had been in one another’s arms, staring intently at the fires crackling in between the woody piles. from time to time, you had exchanged small kisses but they were the ones that always made the moment even more special.
“how long do you think you’ll stay with me y/n?” severus asked.
“well…for as long as we want, unless you wish to have me around. i don’t want you to be bored of me” you answered.
“how could you say that? y/n i couldn’t get bored of you. not in the slightest.” severus replied, with zero hesitation.
it shocked him how easily the words seemed to flow out of his mouth, it would take him months, hell even years to say that to someone but with you it seemed to be so easy.
and it was.
꒱࿐♡ ˚.*ೃ
settling in at spinners end was like any other place for you. you seemed to enjoy the dark aesthetic of the small town, how it seemed to be secluded from everywhere else in england and everyone seemed to be in their own little bubble but yet everyone knew everyone.
you had lived there for a year at that point, you had wanted to go outside. you knew a forest that wasn’t far away from the home, it had been heavily raining over the last few days. you seemed to enjoy the aftermath of the heavy rain.
“severus!” you called.
you slid into his office, his head shot up.
“ah you are clearly dressed. get your coat, we are going outside.” you said as you then disappeared.
severus seemed to enjoy when you took control of the day, he enjoyed how different every day was. with no hesitation he grabbed his coat and his scarf and joined you downstairs at the front door.
you took hold of his hand and lead him outside, you held a basket on the other hand as you then handed severus the other side of your wired earphones.
“y/n you know i will never get used to your modern traditions.” severus said.
“oh come on sevvy, you can listen to music at the palm of your hands! just this once, pretty please.” you pleaded.
severus grabbed the earphone and put it in as he then found himself listening to some classic rock song.
“it’s my favourite song.” you said.
the song in question was from a classic rock band. he was not entirely well versed in music, nor did he have an interest in it. but it was that moment something switched in him, the rhythm of the song seemed to catch onto him.
you squeezed his hand a little tighter as the music played.
“you’re enjoying it!” you squeaked slightly as you noticed severus humming along to the song.
severus only smirked and pulled you closer as you paced closer to what looked like a forest. you were the one person that would convince him to have music in his life. severus never understood the concept of it and why people enjoy it so much, but whenever music was played around you his whole life seemed to change.
there was always a song he would associate with you, which made him appreciate you more and more by the second.
“i found the perfect spot.” you said once you arrived.
you both entered deeper into the forest until nothing but the top of the trees was all you could see once you looked up.
severus looked around the spot you mentioned, serenity was you could feel. you were at peace with him.
with every second severus was with you, the more entranced he was. oh how your hair swiftly followed the breezes of the spring time winds, and when the sun slowly followed after you had looked nothing but a piece of art to him.
you were always his work of art.
“oh severus look!” you called and got up instantaneously.
severus sat up slightly, only to have his eyes on you. his gaze not leaving you, he was loved undeniably.
you sat right next to him and there you had picked up a small rabbit.
“oh severus! look at its ears, its adorable.” you squeaked, stroking the rabbit that had sooner or later, gained your trust.
severus looked to the furry animal, stroking it slowly.
you tried to let the rabbit go.
but it later came back.
you let it go back to its home, but not even five minutes later it would come back to you and severus. even making its way to severus’ lap and sleeping.
“i think it likes you.” you giggled.
it was quite adorable you thought. severus becoming a father of a rabbit within five minutes of your date together.
you enjoyed severus softening slightly at the sight of animals, seeing him tend to a stray rabbit was something you didn’t see everyday, but perhaps this would mean something for the both of you later in the line of your lives.
you scoot to severus, resting your head on his upper arm, then slowly wrapping his arm around you, you both took in the scenery, soft breaths escaped your lips as parts of the sunlight hit the forest bestowed upon you.
you felt like you spend an entire life time with him if you could.
꒱࿐♡ ˚.*ೃ
“y/n…i never thought i’d ask you such a question, but i fear i can’t contain my feelings any longer.” severus said.
“y/n m/n l/n…”
“will you marry me?”
you couldn’t decipher the question and then it dawned on yo.
severus wanted to marry you. someone out there was willing to marry you.
tears flooded your eyes and dropped from your face, as you couldn’t see severus through your hazy vision of your sobs.
“yes…of course i’ll marry you.” you replied.
choked sobs escaped severus, putting the ring on you and embracing you into his arms and spinning you slowly.
“we’re going to get married.” you said barely louder than your normal voice.
“we really are.”
severus didn’t want to let you go in the slightest.
and it was in that moment that you were undeniably in love with severus snape.

Still trusted you
Tumblr media
Masterlist | Harry potter masterlist |
Requested : no
prompt 60. “You hurt me and I still trusted you.” + 91.  “I’m sorry I didn’t tell you sooner.”
Pairing : Severus Snape x (they/them) reader
Type : Angst
Word count : 337
You’re doing so well !! <3
——————————–
“You hurt me and I still trusted you!” Y/n shouted, rolling their eyes at the man in front of them. Severus stared at the floor, not looking up and meeting the eyes in front of him. “Y/n, I’m sorry I didn’t tell you sooner.” He tried to say but they didn’t listen, too hurt to response and feeling betrayed by him. They scoffed and turned to face him. “Sorry? Severus, do you seriously think that makes up for...for that?” they asked, pointing at his arm. He had the dark mark, tattooed on his arm - all part of the plan. Dumbledore had asked him to become a spy and he had agreed (without thinking). However, he could not just explain that to them, Albus asking him to keep it a secret, but it killed him.
Y/n was the only person who stuck by him throughout his entire time at Hogwarts. Lily had initially introduced the pair, but when she left him because she started dating James and he took his anger out on her, Y/n was there for him. They never left his side once, and now the possibility of them leaving him scared him. “Why? After what he did to Lily?” they asked, their voice cracked as guilt engulfed him when he saw the tears rolling down their cheeks. He stepped forward to wipe them away but they took a step back, staying out of his reach. “Don’t come near me.” they breathed out, looking at him fearfully. His heart broke as he saw the terror in their eyes, their wand in their hands just incise anything happened. This was wrong. Y/n was meant to feel safe with him, protected, but now he was doing the complete opposite. He sighed, running a hand through his hair. “Y/n, I need you to trust me now. I can’t tell you why, but I promise it will make sense, just don’t go.” he pleaded, knowing it was selfish of him.
“You should have thought about that before betraying me.”

It felt so wrong, but so right at the same time. How he pushed you against the forgotten closet door, gripping your chin between his gloved hand. Your chest moves up and down as he glares down at you. “Mr Malfoy!” You gasp out, your heart beating like crazy.
Lucius grips your chin tighter, tilting your head upwards. “Shh, little one. You don’t want anyone to catch us, now do you?” You quickly shake your head, a soft gasp escaping past your lips as he places his slack covered knee between your thighs. “What a good little girl you are. Shall I say ten points to Slytherin?” His voice raspy as he whispers.
He smirks as he watches you grind down on his knee. Your eyes roll to the back of your head, this was possibly the most reckless yet thrilling thing you’ve ever done. You would’ve never expected to be screwing around with your friend’s dad, especially a married man.
Your eyes focus on him as he squeezes your chin. “Pay attention, little one.” Lucius unsheathes his wand from his cane and places it against your throat, pressing it in. He watches as excitement fills your eyes. “Are you going to be our good girl?”
Your brows furrow, confused. “Our? But, Mr Malfoy there is only… What?” You stumble on your words, his knee pressing into your clit causing your mind to become fuzzy.
Severus steps into the light, having been watching from the shadows. “You are correct, Miss L/n. Our girl.” You clench around nothing, watching as he stalks closer until their scent fills your mind.
Your fantasy was finally coming true.

How about a smutty date Severus x reader in a restaurant where Sev asks Reader to have a vibro in her and he has the remote control ?
This is 🔥🔥🔥
Genre: smut
Warnings: implied public/bathroom sex, use of a vibrator, edging, orgasm denial, overstimulation, dirty talk
Masterlist
The menu you held in your hands trembled as intense waves of pleasure rolled through your soaked cunt. Your boyfriend smirked, sliding his fingers up his sleeve to increase the speed of the vibrator nestled deep inside of you.
"Severus," you whined, squirming around in your seat as a waiter approached your table. "Stop-"
"Good evening, Miss and Mister. Would you like to try our new macaroni and brie with crab?" the waiter asked, his pen poised on his notepad, ready to take your orders.
"No, thank you. May I please order the steak with mashed potatoes and asparagus, medium rare?" Severus told the waiter, failing to hide his smirk as he heard a faint whimper escape you.
"And you, Miss?" The waiter turned to face you as he finished writing down Severus's order. You bit your lip hard, your entire body hot as you struggled to maintain your composure.
"Just t-the smoked salmon p-pasta, please," you stammered, screwing your eyes shut as you teetered on the edge of orgasm. The waiter gave you a funny look and then nodded, scribbling down your order before walking away.
You exhaled sharply, gripping the edge of the table. "Sev, please. I need to come. You haven't let me come all night," you whispered to him, your stomach beginning to burn from how desperate you were to come.
"Not until our food arrives, my love," Severus replied darkly, turning on the pulse setting on the remote. You gasped loudly, drawing the attention of nearby diners. You were gushing, your underwear ruined at this point, but Severus was amused at your predicament. He lowered the speed only slightly, giving you a moment to relax before he increased it again.
"Fuck, please!" you begged him, your eyes fluttering open as your fingers dug into the tablecloth. "I've been a good girl all day, and I even wore the lingerie that you like the most-"
"Did you really?" Severus asked you, raising his eyebrows. You nodded frantically, your poor, neglected clit aching to be touched.
"Aw, baby," Severus cooed as he raised a hand to your cheek to wipe away your tears from being overstimulated. "Since I know you're dressed so sexily for me under your dress, I'll let you come."
You gasped in relief, squeezing your legs together as your climax began to crescendo. You felt a brief second of your release - intense and blissful all in one - before Severus suddenly shut off the vibrator.
You could have sobbed. Before you did, Severus grabbed your hand, gently helping you to your feet as your legs were trembling violently.
He pulled you toward him by your waist, growling in your ear, "I'm going to pound that sweet pussy of yours in the bathroom, and then you can come. I'm going to press that vibrator against your pretty clit too. Would you like that, baby?"
You were dazed by his words. Your head spun as you shakily nodded, unable to verbalize your response. Severus quickly led you to the bathroom in the corner of the restaurant, and by the time you two finished and you had come several times, your food had gone cold.

hello! can i get a severus lazy sunday morning with the reader? 🖤
Severus Snape x Fem! Reader Tags: None. Word Count: 1.1k "You can stay right here. I'll call you when it's ready."
Tumblr media
It was the pattering of rain on the roof that initially woke Severus up. It drummed on the house and sprinkled across the windows. The trees outside rustled from the wind that whistled outside. He let out a slow exhale at the sound of the low rumbles of thunder rolling off in the distance.
Three days of solid rain was more than enough, and frankly, he was missing the sunshine. Nonetheless, there wasn't a thing he could do about the weather, so he supposed that griping about it wouldn't do him any good.
After all, it was hard to complain when there was a beautiful woman curled up next to him.
Severus was a bit of a stirrer in the mornings. He wasn't typically one to lounge around in bed, typically getting up and on his feet the moment that his eyes opened. But you, on the other hand, liked to gradually wake up instead of getting a fast start to your day. If there wasn't an immediate reason to get up, then you were more than likely going to stay snuggled in for a little while.
With that being said, he tried to keep his movements to a minimum to avoid waking you. He could bear staying wrapped up in the sheets if it meant you getting some extra rest. He was perfectly content with holding you close and watching the weather rage on outside through the window.
Unfortunately, he couldn't control the volume and intensity of the thunder that accompanied the rain. One booming crack of thunder spooked you awake with a hard flinch and a light gasp. The sudden reaction even made Severus jump a bit, his arms holding you tighter as a gesture of protection.
"It's all right," He nuzzled his nose into your hair, pressing a kiss just above the tip of your ear. "You're safe. It's just a storm."
His morning voice always sent a chill down your back. It was deeper than usual, groggy and sluggish. You relaxed at the sound of it, releasing a relieved sigh when you realized that your house wasn't being attacked by some outside force.
"Mm. Still raining I assume?" Your eyes fluttered closed again in an attempt to slow the hard thumping of your heart.
"Unfortunately." He grumbled, his focus on you instead of the storm.
"It's not all bad. I've had you all to myself for three days straight." You giggled, the sound of your laugh spreading a warmth over his chest.
"Darling, has there ever been a time where you didn't?" He answered.
He pushed some fallen strands of hair out of your eyes, a small smile appearing on his features as he admired your calm expression.
"Generally, no. But sometimes the duties of being a professor steals you away."
He couldn't deny that. Just being a professor could be overly demanding -- adding in being the head of Slytherin and some occasional administrative responsibilities could most definitely dry up the well of his free time.
Before he met you, he spent pretty much every night at the school in his personal chambers. He didn't see the need in traveling home every night (as easy and convenient as it might've been) if he had no real reason to. He spent all of his time at Hogwarts from September to June.
But after meeting you and having the pleasure and blessing of your lives intertwining, he had to learn how to balance his work life and personal life. Now, he traveled home almost every single night, unless he just couldn't get away from his office and/or classroom.
He did everything that he could to ensure that you were his top priority...although, sometimes he still fell short.
"We still have well over a month before the term starts," He remarked. "Plenty of time before my schedule gets overly full."
"What's on your schedule until then?" You asked, eyes opening just enough to peer up at him.
He let out a low chuckle when he kissed your temple, the vibrations running down your side and causing a brief tingle in your toes. He exhaled a satisfied hum when one of your legs settled between his.
"You."
Another roll of thunder rumbled, yet not quite as vigorous this time. You smiled at him, which caused a tint of a blush to appear on his cheek.
"Doesn't sound too busy then." You ran your index finger's knuckle across the apple of his cheek with a feather-like touch.
"Just the way I like it." He smirked.
A round of silence followed. The two of you were just enjoying each other's presence and taking advantage of the fact that you had absolutely nothing to do...not to mention having a great excuse not to come up with something to occupy your time.
The rain was relentless after all. Who in their right mind would want to go out in this kind of weather? It was a perfect setup for a day inside.
There were plenty of things to do around the house. The only problem was that you had already been doing them for three days now.
You could only take a crack at raiding and reading your entire library for so long. The house was spotless and lemony fresh, so cleaning was crossed off your list. You were looking forward to trying a new recipe for dinner, but you assumed that you still had an entire day to get through first.
"What time is it?" You asked, realizing that it could've been noon for all you knew.
Severus raised his head just enough to peek over you to get a glimpse of the alarm clock on the bedside table on your side.
"6:47." He answered.
"Oh, that is so early," You gawked. "I'm too awake to go back to sleep though."
"Shall I make us some breakfast then?" He suggested. "You can stay right here. I'll call you when it's ready."
"Pancakes? Coffee?" You asked, a glittering admiration for the man talking sweet to you shining over your face.
"Of course," He nodded. "Whatever you want, angel."
He peppered kisses across your nose and down your neck, bubbly giggles and squeaks sounding out from your chest. You managed to squeal out an "I love you" through laughter and shrills.
He couldn't understand how someone like you could love him so much. He liked to think that he had done something in his life to deserve some like you. But in reality, he knew that he was just plain lucky.
"I love you," He returned the endearment before whipping the covers off of the bed, ignoring your hiss of disapproval. "Pancakes are on the way."
Once he was on his feet, he pulled the covers back over you, chuckling at the way you shimmied further down with a gleeful whimper. He pressed a kiss to your forehead before leaving to whip up the best stack of pancakes you had ever tasted.
"Enjoy the rain, my love."

NSFW a-z for Snape <3
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
A- Aftercare (What're they like after sex)
Extremely sappy. Just very emotional, very clingy. Refuses to leave you (if you two are in bed) no matter what after. He let's you go to the bathroom after tho. He waits. He stays in whatever position you two are in for a while before pulling away. Cuddles and kisses you a lot, especially if it's nighttime.
B- Body part (favorite Body parts on you and him)
On you, it's everything. He doesn't have a favorite. BUT the one thing he stares at a lot during sex is your lips, or your face in general.
On him, it's probably his hands (and nose when it comes to oral). He uses his hands all the time no matter what. Always holding onto you, touching you, and uses them during oral too. And he does use his nose to his advantage during oral.
C- Cvm (anything they do with it)
See now I don't know if birth control was a thing in this setting but let's pretend it is. If you're on it, he's cvmming inside. Everytime. If you're not on it, he usually finishes on your stomach or thigh. Barely uses a condom tbh.
D- Dirty secret
Doesn't have any secrets. Especially dirty ones. He tells you everything, no matter what.
E- Experience (how experienced are they)
Girl, before you, he didn't get any. Don't even. Love him tho.
F- Favorite position
Any where he can see your face. Except for doggie. And even then he makes you turn around to look at him. He likes eye contact. And the intimacy of it all. You two usually go for missionary tho. Or cowgirl. He's really close to you all the while too.
G- Goofy (how serious are they in the moment)
Obviously, he's very serious, very in the moment, with you. He cracks a smile or a smirk every now and then tho.
H- Hair (how well groomed are they)
He doesn't shave it clean but doesn't grow it out. It really depends to be honest. Sometimes he grows it out a bit and sometimes he almost shaves clean.
I- Intimacy (how romantic are they)
He's not the type to lay out rose petals and candles, but he's pretty romantic. Like I said before the eye contact, contact touching, and praise are always there. He always treats you like you're made of gold everytime. Before, during, AND after.
J- Jack off (do they jack off)
He doesn't jack off. Why invision it when he has the real thing? And if you don't feel like it that night, he'll wait days if he has to, to let lose.
K- Kink (their kinks)
Praise (receiving and giving), Head pushing (giving), slight breeding, being in control, spanking (giving), some bondage (giving), edging (receiving and giving) and overstimulation (receiving and giving)
L- Location (favorite places to do it at)
Anywhere in your own home. In the kitchen, bedroom, living room, anywhere as long as it's inside the house. He doesn't really like public stuff.
M- Motivation (what turns them on)
Literally everything. You bend over and he's gripping the damn table. You give him the greenlight and he's all over you bbg.
N- No (turn-offs they have)
Actually hurting you. Even if it turns you on, he doesn't want knife play, gun play, etc. Or degration. Waxplay he is okay with but it'll take a WHILE for him to warm up to it (jaja get it). He doesn't like public stuff. He wants it to be you and him, and being as loud as possible, in your own home.
O- Oral (preference of giving, recieving)
Prefers giving but loves receiving too. He does use his nose to his advantage here, grabbing your hips and making them move alone his mouth and nose. Loves when you ride his face too. He would die happy if you suffocated him with your pleasure.
As for receiving, he rarely even let's you. He focuses so much on you. But while you're sucking him off, he likes to push your head down, or thrust up into you.
P- Pace
Sometimes he's rough, sometimes he's slow. When he's slow he goes DEEP. You sweat you can feel it reach your lungs. Anyways. He's only rough when he's stressed or annoyed. He apologises after for maybe hurting you. But usually he's slow and deep.
Q- Quickies
Rarely says okay to quickies. If you're in public and you say you're in the mood, he'll make that an excuse and immediately go home with you. He doesn't like being outside. He only says okay to it if it's a special effect that he can't leave from and you're both feeling it.
R- Risks (do they take risks)
Not really. Again, he doesn't like public stuff. Or anything of the sort.
S- Stamina (how many rounds do they last for)
He can last HOURS if you wanted him to. He just watches your expressions. When you're done, he is. When you want more, he does too.
T- Toys (do they use/own toys)
He doesn't own any. And doesn't use any on you. He want you to enjoy him, and the experience alone, not just some peice of plastic.
U- Unfair (do they tease)
He does. A lot actually. Sometimes he does it intentionally, sometimes he doesn't. He might cvm first and stop moving to catch his breath and accidently edge you by that. But sometimes he might stop just as you're about to cvm, just to see your reaction.
V- Vocal (how loud are they)
He doesn't care. He is moaning and groaning in your ear. You're showing him you're loving it by moaning for him, he's gonna do the same thing back.
W- Wild card
Everytime you shower, he's there with you. Same with baths. It doesn't need to be sexual. He just wants to be near you, or have some skin to skin contact.
X- X-Ray (what's packin)
He's packed. A good 7-8 inches, and very thick too. Like when you hold it, you can't wrap your whole hand around it. And he knows how to use it.
Y- Yearning (what's their sex drive)
He literally never says no to you. Unless he is almost knocked out cold kind of tired, he's down to have sex.
Z- Zzz (how fast do they fall asleep after)
He waits for you to fall asleep and get comfortable first, then does to sleep.

Shattered - Theo Nott (Part 3)
Words | 800 Warnings | Angst | Death (Not reader or Theo) Pairings | Theo Nott x Reader Inspo | slytherinboy..povs on TikTok Links to PART 1 | PART 2
Tumblr media
Two months later…
Theo felt a burning sensation on his forearm, his stomach lurched at the feeling. He was being summoned for the first time since being forced to take the mark.
He arrived at Malfoy Manor within the hour, joining over fifty other death eaters around the grand table in the Malfoy’s dining room.
The Dark Lord hadn’t arrived yet, the room buzzing with chatter from the newly recruited, pure-blood students and older members alike. Theo felt a hand firmly grasp his shoulder.
“Theodore.” Nott Senior, Theo’s father rasped coldly. Theo felt ice run through his veins.
“Father.” He nodded curtly. The tension was palpable between them, years of hatred and mistreatment weighed heavily on Theo’s shoulders.
“The Dark Lord will be here soon. Do not embarrass me boy.”
Theo nodded curtly again, not wanting to anger his father. He would much rather be forgotten by him.
The mindless chatter ceased as the grand doors slid open, revealing the Dark Lord who almost seemed to be gliding across the room to his chair. You could hear a pin drop, the death eaters surrounding Theo barely breathed as they waited for the Dark Lord to address them.
“It seems we have traitors amongst us…” The Dark Lord drawled, breathing softly. His beady eyes scanned across his army, scanning for one particular person.
“Severus.” The Dark Lord, spoke softly. Snape leant down to hear the command given to him, his eyes also scanned the crowd, locking eyes with Theo.
Theo’s eyes widened slightly, the stoic mask slipping slightly through fear. Snape marched quickly towards him, grasped his arm and apparated away.
Nott Senior gawked at what had happened in front of him, glancing between the death eaters and the Dark Lord himself.
“Nagini… Kill him.” The last thing Nott Senior saw was the jaws of a snake lunging for his neck.
Tumblr media
“Professor, what is this?” Theo asked cautiously as he found himself in a room that he recognised, Lucius Malfoy’s study. He and Draco had often played in the room as children, much to Lucius’ displeasure.
“The Dark Lord believes you know something Mister Nott.” Snape spoke calmly, a tone so calm that it unsettled Theo. “And he’s asked me to access that information.”
“I don’t understand Professor. I don’t know what he wants.” Theo felt his fear rising, he felt like a small child again, being mistreated by his father.
Snape raised his wand at him, Theo reached for his own wand a split second too late.
“Crucio.”
A blood curdling scream rang out through the manor as Theo’s body hit the floor, writhing in pain. His breaths came in jagged gasps, beads of sweat rolled down his forehead. The pain didn’t ease as Snape kept the curse on him for what felt like minutes, even though it was a matter of seconds.
“I have to break down your barriers Mister Nott, it will make finding the information the Dark Lord needs much easier. Crucio.” Theo writhed again, gasping for breath, his mouth open in a noiseless scream. Tears streamed down his cheeks.
“Legilimens.”
Theo felt the invasion in his mind immediately, a searing pain in his head.
“Please professor! Stop!” Theo yelled, trying to push himself up. His body was weak from the curses that were cast on him, his muscles unable to support him. He collapsed back to the floor, his breaths heavy.
“You know the daughter of the traitors?” Snape asked as he rifled through Theo’s memories. Theo nodded, his face screwed up in anguish, he finally knew what the Dark Lord wanted.
“Please professor, her parents mean everything to her. Please don’t do this.” Theo begged, losing your parents would break you, he couldn’t let it happen.
He fought in his mind, trying to remember back to the small amount of occlumency that his mother had taught him before she passed. He tried to build barriers.
“Do not fight me Mister Nott. You’ll only make it worse for yourself.”
Slowly, Theo built barriers around the memory he knew Snape was looking for. The memory of the letter, the address, your parents safe house.
“I told you. Do. Not. Fight. Me.” Snape hissed as he continued searching Theo’s mind. “Crucio.” Theo’s head snapped back to the floor as he writhed again, letting out another scream of pain. The barriers around the memories broke, giving Snape free access to them. Tears leaked from Theo’s eyes, from the pain and from the thought of you, devastated and alone.
“Just kill me professor. Tell him I couldn’t take it; tell him you didn’t find anything. Please.” Theo begged softly, breathless, his vision ebbing at the sides.
“Those are not my orders Mister Nott.” Snape rasped, finally leaving Theo’s mind as the darkness took over, sending him into a dark, dreamless sleep.

Late-night cramming
Severus could feel his eyes become heavy by the second. It was already late at night but a few students were granted permission to stay in the library a little past curfew as exams were slowly approaching. A faint snore snapped him from his focus. He gazed down at the sleeping boy beside him. He was so deep in his studies he completely forgot he wasn't alone in the table he was occupying. How long has this idiot been sleeping?
He was about to wake Yonal when he took notice of his slight trembling. Rarely did this boy ever wear his full uniform, said it weighs them down. While it is true that the fabric is kind of heavy, for Severus, it acts as a safety blanket, a shield between him and everyone else. He feels naked without it, completely vulnerable. You can almost never see the raven-haired boy not wearing it. As if his body had a mind of own, Severus unclasped his robe and gently put it over Yonal. He furrowed his eyebrows as he battled his own thoughts. So what if he's shivering? It's his damn fault for not wearing theirs. This is not like you. Why would you sacrifice your own comfort for another's? Severus didn't what know came over him but it was already too late. Good thing there weren't that many people in the vicinity. Glancing back at the boy's sleeping form, he couldn't help but feel this tenderness of seeing his clothes draped over Yonal. He let out a sigh as he picked his quill up, resuming his notes lest he'll become too engrossed with his thoughts. But from time to time, he allowed himself to indulge in it.

“I cannot believe you,” You mutter, storming into your room as Severus follows closely behind. He shuts the door quietly, hoping he will be able to open it soon enough.
“Y/n.” Snape starts.
“You don’t get to ‘Y/n’ me. Not after that display. What did that boy do to deserve that?”
Severus tries to interrupt. “Harry Potter has-”
“Harry Potter has done nothing. Severus, the boy deserves basic respect, and you have refused him even that. And on what grounds? His father was a dick, so now he has to suffer the consequences?”
“Absolutely not.” Severus drawls, trying to keep his frustration at bay. You’re pointing out a serious issue, he’s aware of that. But that does not mean he’ll stand down.
You inhale deeply, the tension in the room starting to suffocate you. “No other students suffer your wrath as much as him, so do not try that excuse. He has not pranked you, hurt you, or stripped you of your pride. So what are the grounds, if any?”
Severus stands silent. His lips are pressed against each other, forming a thin line that pulls at his eyebrows. His eyes examine you with intensity, as they always do, but there’s a melancholy glint to it that you can’t quite name.
Finally, he sighs and looks away. Severus won’t be able to speak his next words if he meets your gaze- he is not strong enough. “It is not your place to understand why I do this. It is not your place to question me about it, and it is certainly not your place to insult me.”
You stare at Severus after he finishes his dismissal of your every word, of your very position as his partner. He still won’t look at you, scared of what he will find- what he has caused.
What he has caused. A rift in your body has settled, still quaking from aftershocks of Severus’s words. The rift, formed between mind and heart, brings tears to your eyes, not spilling from your eyes but still making their presence known. You cannot cry just yet. Not while Severus is standing in front of you.
“Then it is not your place to be in this room.”
And before his own tears can spill, he strides out of the room, a flurry of black robes and broken hearts following him.
*___*
“Severus, what is going on?” The old man questions calmly, stroking his bird with gentle hands.
“I don’t understand,” Snape says. If he must be short with Dumbledore to get out of this impromptu session, then so he shall.
“You have not talked to Professor L/n in quite some time now,” Dumbledore turns to the professor. He grins softly. “Trouble in paradise?”
“Since when do you and Minerva dabble in faculty’s love lives? I thought it was restricted to students.”
“Oh, Severus.” Albus sighs. He walks over to his desk, sitting behind it and questioning how you dealt with this man on the daily. “What must I do to get you two to talk again? Your stormy mood is obviously the result of a fight, and it’s bringing down everyone here. It would do everyone good if you made up.”
“What others choose to do with my ‘mood’ is none of my concern. Is that all? I have papers to grade,” Snape stands.
Albus makes a mental note to give you a raise. “Yes, Severus, that is all. You may leave.” And with that, Severus swoops out of the office.
Back in the corner, Fawkes caws, seemingly put out. Albus looks over to his treasured bird, admiring it as he thinks.
“I may be able to solve this, Fawkes. Let’s call Minerva, shall we?”
*___*
Snape has been grading all day. On top of that, he’s had to teach four classes, of which two were incredibly loud, one accidentally started a fire, and the last was an advanced class, which is the kiss of death itself. At this point, he’d take a dementor over Friday’s schedule.
“Severus.” McGonagall bursts into his office, distress clearly displayed on her face.
“Minerva.” He nods. “What is the matter?”
“One of Rubeus’s young dragons escaped from their nest and made its way to your chambers. It must have been drawn by the potions you store in there-” At this, Severus coughed. The only reason those potions are in his room is because of your aversion to muggle contraceptives.
“And so, when we went to investigate the burnt smell, we discovered that the dragon had destroyed your room. Rubeus claimed that it’s still trying to get the hang of its fire-breathing capabilities, poor thing.”
Severus’s eyes widen. “My entire room?”
Minerva nods her head sadly. “We’d go to investigate the specific damage, but it’s much too dangerous for anyone to go near that wing, let alone your room.”
“Fine,” Severus sighs and rubs his eyes. “Where am I to sleep, then?”
“Well, we’ve taken the liberty of asking around, and there’s only one spot available.”
“With whom?” All he wants to do is finish grading and return to a warm room. A calm room, with the fire preferably contained to the fireplace.
“Professor L/n.”
“Fine.” Snape is determined to hide any emotion affiliated with that name. “I will take up residence with the professor until my room is repaired.”
“Thank you, Severus. We’ll have a repair team at the school soon.” And as McGonagall walks out, Severus lets himself fall to his seat, head held in his hands.
*___*
When a frazzled Minerva McGonagall approaches you in a hurry and rants about Snape’s room and Rubeus’s dragon and Dumbeldore’s repair team and finally, how there is no other place but your room that is open to Snape, you can’t just turn her away and say no.
So when 3pm rolls around, you stretch, pack your books and papers away for the night, and start the journey to your chambers. It’s a short walk from your classroom, one that doesn’t intercept with too many bustling students- and the ones you do run into are nice, wishing you a good evening and even striving to make small talk.
So after you’ve said hello to a few students and gotten to your door, you’re more than ready to relax in the privacy of your room. You swing the door open and plop your things onto the small table, right before you remember your talk with Minerva this afternoon.
You close your eyes and breathe deeply through your nose. Shit.
To top it off, he’s probably already here- it’s Friday, the one day you have more classes than him. This situation keeps getting better and better.
But it’s fine, you tell yourself. You’re an adult, you’re mature, and you can handle a grumpy Severus.
All those thoughts fly out of your head as soon as your partner turns the corner to run into you.
He looks mad. And incredibly hot. But mad, and the silent type, the type that sends shivers down students’ spines and makes you fear for your life.
Fine. You can be the calm, mature one in this situation. “Hello, Severus.”
He barely acknowledges you, tilting his chin slightly down. “Y/n.” He responds.
And that was that. You went off to start dinner, not in the mood for a big feast tonight. Severus wandered off to Merlin knows where.
It’s a small kitchen, certainly not one fit for a queen, but a functional one. The basic appliances are all present, the cupboards are filled with plates and silverware, and as you start to cook, the tiny room fills up with the pleasant aroma of spice.
Right when you’re dishing the food, Severus swishes in. He timed his cleaning of the sitting area perfectly, it sees.
“Dinner’s ready.” You say, grabbing utensils and seating yourself at the table.
“Smells delightful.” Severus may be mad, but he’s not rude. Not to you.
“...Thanks.” You’re still hesitant after what happened between you two. He was way out of line, and he needs to apologise before he can compliment your cooking.
Dinner proceeds with that thought hanging in your mind. Only the sounds of forks clunking on plates can be heard, the occasional shout from the corridors echoing through the rooms.
Soon enough, dinner is finished, plates are washed and put away, and you’ve sat down to grade papers. It’s a tedious task, full of horrific handwriting and misused adjectives.
“Their handwriting leaves something to be desired.” Severus leans over your shoulder to glance at the papers. Your breath catches as he murmurs the last word of his sentence, but you catch yourself before you can do something about it. He needs to apologise before you do anything like that whatsoever.
“It’s certainly not their best,” You mumble, turning your head towards his form. He chuckles softly, sending all thoughts in your mind out the window with the deep noise.
You need to get out before you do something stupid.
“I’m going to bed.” You snap the papers shut and stride off towards your bedroom. You hurry to shut the door and go through your night routine. You can hear Severus pacing in the next room the entire time.
Right before you get into bed, he knocks on the door.
“Come in,” you say, turning to face him.
“I was wondering what the sleeping arrangements were to be for the night?” Severus drawls.
“Oh- yes.” You pause. “I’m open to sharing the bed, but the couch is open if you’d like.”
“The bed will suit.” He responds, gliding towards the bathroom to carry on with his own routine. He’s silent throughout it, so you’re able to slip into bed and unwind a bit before he reemerges.
You’re half asleep by the time that occurs. Snape realises this, cautiously stepping out of the bathroom and into the bed. He lays there for a moment, slowly shuffling around and rearranging his t-shirt for a comfortable drape.
The potions professor turns to look at you afterwards. You’re beautiful, especially like this- eyes closed, face smushed into the pillow, a relaxed look that will stay on your face for the rest of the weekend. And how you look so at peace, like he didn’t yell at you and you weren’t fighting and all's right with the world.
Alas, the only thing that brings that future is an apology.
“Y/n,” Severus whispers, hoping to refrain from waking you up if you’re already asleep.
“Severus,” You respond after a minute, and his worries are relieved.
“I realise the mistakes I have made, and how they have affected you.” He starts, inhaling deeply. You nod, waiting for an apology.
“And I am sorry for what I said and what I have caused.”
You nod again, this time more slowly. You’ll accept it, but he’s still got a long way to go.
“Thank you, Severus.” He breathes a sigh of relief. “This doesn’t mean you’re off the hook, though.”
“Of course, dear.”
“And you’re in charge of breakfast tomorrow.”
“Of course, dear.”
“And if I kick you in my sleep, it’s well deserved.”
“Of course, dear.”
With that, you snuggle into Severus’s arms, resting your head on his chest and stroking his hair until your movements slow and your breaths even.
And somewhere in the castle, Albus Dumbledore and Minerva McGonagall giggle over wine and a fine view of Snape’s perfectly intact room.

Sex Pollen || Severus Snape
Tumblr media
Synopsis - You come across some sex pollen in the herbology greenhouse. Not knowing what it is, you take it to your colleague, Severus Snape, to inspect.
Warnings - NSFW.
Note - Reader is 18+!
Word Count - 2.3k.
[Caffeinate Me]
Tumblr media
You were a Professor at Hogwarts, newly graduated yourself and ready to teach the students all you had learnt at your time at the school for young witches and wizards. You were helping Pomona Sprout clean up the Herbology Greenhouses one day after a particularly messy class of first years when you stumbled across a vial of something you had never come across before. You turned to Pomona and looked at her quizzically, “what’s this?” you asked.
Pomona looked as confused as you were as you held the vial up to the light pouring through the Greenhouse windows. “I’m… not quite sure,” she replied. “Be a dear and take it to Severus, see if he knows what it is?”
You nodded, gulping slightly. You see, you had developed a sort of ‘crush’ on your old potions Professor and that felt strange to you, especially since you were now his colleague. “I’ll be right back,” you announced before turning around on your heel and slowly walking to the dungeons where you knew Severus would be. On your way, you took several deep breaths trying your hardest to collect your thoughts and keep your feelings in check.
Eventually, you arrived at the dungeons. Standing outside the potions classroom, you took your final deep breath before knocking on the door. As soon as you knocked, you wanted to run away, but you grasped the vial in your hand tightly and remained still. “Enter,” came his gruff voice from behind the door. You expected to see a classroom full of children, but instead you were greeted with just Severus, sitting down behind his desk. He looked up at you and nodded in acknowledgement as you entered before looking down at the parchment on his desk. Slowly, you made your way into the dimly lit room taking in the faint aroma of potions that had been brewed recently. When you reached the desk, you shakily placed the vial of unknown contents in front of Severus and smiled down at him awkwardly.
“Pomona and I don’t know what this is,” you said, voice wavering slightly. “We were hoping you’d be able to enlighten us.”
Severus looked at the bottle before picking it up to inspect it closer. He looked puzzled as his eyes scrunched to look closer at the contents of the liquid. It was clear in colour and could have been a number of things. Severus placed the bottle on the edge of the desk and simply shrugged. “Could be a few things,” he drawled.
You nodded, taking in his words. “Could you find out what it is?” You asked, tilting your head to the side.
“Of course I could find out what it is,” Severus said, his tone hinting offence. “But it will take some time.”
“I have time,” you replied with a shrug, looking down at the potions Professor. Your heart picked up its pace as Severus looked you up and down before turning his attention away from the parchment and back to the mysterious vial on his desk. He pushed his chair away from the desk and stood up, towering over you. Your breath hitched in your throat lightly as he brushed past you and made his way over to the cauldron in the middle of the room, mysterious vial in his hand. As he opened up the vial, ready to pour some of the clear liquid into the cauldron, a cloud of what appeared to be pollen sprung up from the contents hitting Severus square in the face. He quickly closed his eyes as the pollen hit him in the face before they widened when he realised what it was. “What is that?” You asked, disgust lacing your voice as Severus quickly placed the lid back on the vial.
“Sex pollen,” Severus replied, eyes still wide.
“I’m sorry, what?” You asked with a slight stutter.
“Sex pollen,” he repeated, gritting his teeth. He turned to put the vial on a shelf before turning back to grip the cauldron with his hands, knuckles turning white with the amount of pressure he was gripping with.
“Severus, are you okay?” You asked, slightly concerned.
“You need to leave,” he snapped to you, eyes still closed as he grasped the cauldron harder.
“I’m not leaving until I know you’re okay,” you said stubbornly, folding your arms across your chest.
“I’m fine,” he snapped again, a slight moan tumbling from his lips as he spoke.
“You’re clearly not fine,” you said.
You walked over to Severus and placed your hand on his shoulder, turning him around to face you. When he turned, his eyes opened and you saw his pupils had dilated a crazy amount, his orbs holding an emotion you had never seen from your old potions Professor before. Lust. You looked him up and down, noticing the slight twitching in his body as he moved.
“Leave!” He yelled at you, pointing towards the closed classroom door with a long, slender finger.
“No,” you replied. “I have to help you… Somehow,” you muttered to yourself.
“There’s no helping the situation right now,” Severus groaned, his eyes rolling into the back of his head slightly as he spoke. “The effects will pass in a few hours and everything will be fine. Just go back to Pomona and tell her that I will be keeping the vial for further inspection.”
“But you already know what it is-” You started.
“And I cannot allow you to return back to the Greenhouses with it,” he snapped. His voice was strained, a hint of desperation evident.
“I’m not leaving you right now,” you said. “I have to help you, maybe there’s some kind of potion I can create to counter the effects…”
Severus shook his head. “There’s only one known cure for this pollen.”
“Great! I can make it and you’ll be fine,” you said, a smile gracing your lips. Your eyes held a spark of determination as you spoke.
“It’s a natural remedy,” Severus replied, his eyes gazing up and down your body. He was checking you out.
“Well what is it?” You asked, raising an eyebrow.
“Fuck me,” he spat out, his eyes widening as soon as the words left his lips.
Your own eyes widened. “Excuse me?”
Severus grasped your shoulders and looked directly into your eyes, forcing a pale blush to sneak onto your cheeks. “I said fuck me.” Without another second of silence, or a wait for your reply, Severus smashed his lips against your own. You let out a squeal of confusion as you stumbled back against his desk as Severus’ hands began to roam your body desperately. You wanted to fight him off, but this was a dream come true. You quickly melted into the kiss, kissing back with as much vigour as he was. Your hands wrapped around his neck and your fingers intertwined themselves with his black hair, tugging slightly. A moan fell from Severus’ lips as he bucked his hips against yours roughly. It was then that you felt his erection straining against his trousers, twitching at the thought of you underneath him. A hand trailed up your shirt and made its way to your breasts, squeezing them roughly and forcing a moan to fall from your own lips.
“Severus,” you whimpered as his hands fell from underneath your shirt and began to tug at the buttons, basically ripping your shirt off of your torso. When your shirt was off, Severus’ lips trailed down to your neck biting down at the sensitive flesh leaving a trail of wet kisses to your shoulder. The pleasure was consuming him, his body was hot to the touch and it was overwhelming. Severus Snape had never felt anything like this before. His fingertips trailed your soft body as he continued kissing at your shoulder, hands stopping at the waistband of your long skirt. In one swift motion, your skirt was pooling around your ankles leaving you in nothing but your underwear in front of your old potions Professor. Severus took a step back, taking in your beauty as he unzipped his trousers, not bothering to remove his clothes. He was speechless. His mind was spinning. All he could think about right now was the release that he was aching for.
You watched with wide eyes as Severus pumped his cock, pre-cum drooling from the slit. You bit your lip as anticipation filled your body. “Turn around,” he groaned, grasping your hair tightly between his fingers and forcing you to turn around facing his desk. You let out a soft whimper as your body was moved to rest against the desk, bending over it. Severus fingers danced along the waistband of your underwear before he ripped them off your body, the ripped lace fabric falling to the floor in two parts. You gasped as the cool dungeon air hit your core and shivered as your body adjusted to the temperature change. You didn’t even get a chance to process what was happening before Severus thrust himself inside of you in one motion.
“Oh Gods,” you whimpered, grasping the edge of the desk as Severus fully bottomed out inside of you. His hips immediately began moving against yours with sharp, hard thrusts. Gasps emitted from your mouth with each harsh movement Severus made, his hips snapping against yours viciously as he desperately sought after his release.
“You’re so tight,” Severus growled into your ear, his grasp on your hair tightening as his movements sped up. “Fuck it feels so good.”
You couldn’t reply with words. Instead you just nodded your head as Severus’ free hand worked its way to your throat, squeezing lightly. The sounds of your squelching wetness echoed through the classroom and it was only turning you on more as you gripped the edge of the desk with all you had. His hips stuttered slightly as you pressed your backside against him harder, silently begging for more. Your senses were overwhelmed with pleasure as you felt your release edge closer, a hand falling from the edge of the desk to your clit as your fingers began to play with the bundle of nerves between your legs. “Severus,” you gasped, eyes widening. “I’m going to cum!”
Severus just grunted in response, his hips never faltering their movements as your walls clenched around his cock, squeezing him tightly. It all happened so fast and before you knew it, you were cumming around his member, walls fluttering with pleasure as your eyelids began to flutter from the pleasure. “Shit,” Severus growled, his hand fell from your hair and your throat as he grasped your hips tightly and continued to pound against you. He was desperately chasing his release, his mind not even focused on your pleasure. He just wanted to cum, needed to cum. His cock twitched inside of you as your velvety walls continued to spasm around him from your release as moans tumbled from your lips. They bounced off the walls and it seemed to push Severus over the edge. “Fuck I’m cumming,” he whined, hips stuttering once more as his cum spurted from the head of his cock and deep inside of you. A string of loud, erotic moans left his lips as he came, his body shaking violently as he continued to fuck his load into your womb. Your eyes widened as load after load was spilled inside of you.
When he had finally finished cumming, Severus pulled out of you slowly with a popping sound and groan from his lips. He looked down at you as the lust subsided, guilt and shame taking over his mind and body. “I’m… Sorry,” he whispered, tucking his still erect cock back into his trousers.
You were confused as you turned to look at him, both of you were panting and trying to catch your breath in the awkward silence. “Why are you sorry?” You asked, picking your skirt up from around your ankles and shirt off the floor.
“I didn’t mean for that to happen,” Severus replied, turning his face away from you. His cheeks were flushed red from his release and from embarrassment.
“You couldn’t help it,” you said, trying your best to make him feel better. “I’m just glad I was able to help you at least.” You smiled at him softly and put your shirt on before walking up to him and placing a comforting hand on his shoulder. He flinched at the contact and looked into your eyes. When his eyes met yours he was immediately filled with feelings he hadn’t felt in so long. Comfort. Longing. Love. Whether it was the endorphins from the aftermath of the sex or real feelings, he was unsure, only time would tell.
Severus paused for a moment, thinking of what to say. “Thank you,” he eventually said, voice hoarse.
“Don’t mention it,” you whispered back to him, a smile still plastered on your lips.
“You should head back to Pomona. Tell her I’ll be doing some tests on the vial to figure out what it is. Meanwhile, I’ll dispose of the pollen properly,” Severus said as he straightened up his posture, demeanour returning to his stern, stoic one. You nodded in understanding as you smoothed your hair out, hoping to make yourself look presentable before you headed back to the Greenhouses. You turned on your heels as you walked towards the classroom door but was stopped by Severus once more. “Y/N?”
“Yes?” You asked, turning around to face him.
“Don’t mention this to anybody,” he said, eyebrows narrowing.
“Wouldn’t dream of it, Professor,” you said with a sly grin before making your way out of the potions classroom. You slowly made your way back to the Greenhouses, Severus’ cum trickling down your thighs as you walked. You wondered where this left the two of you and how awkward your meetings would be from now on. After all, you were colleagues now. Only time would tell what would happen next, but you were both nervous and excited to find out. When you arrived back at the Greenhouses, you told Pomona that Severus would be doing some tests on the vial to figure out what the clear liquid was and to that, she just nodded and thanked you for all your help. You were dismissed for the day and made your way back to your quarters to process all that had happened.

another academic year was soon making its finish. but there was one thing blocking a hogwarts student to their freedom.
it was the exam season.
undoubtedly it was a time that burdened many students, keeping them up all night practising endless charms and endless potions.
you were no stranger to such a routine. in fact it was something you had been accustomed to all your life.
you had pretty high expectations for yourself and did not wish for those standards to go any lower. with the upbringing and your family reputation, there was no room for error.
studying and education pretty much inhabited your life, at first you loved it. then again. who wouldn’t? the concept of a routine, wearing posh (to some extent) uniform, going through the same halls everyday. not many people had this sort of life and for you, it was a privilege beyond belief. it was really chance to romanticise your life, and you didn’t know anyone outside the wizarding world who had the comfort to do that.
but all of that that came at a cost, with your parents being educators in the wizarding world. there was clearly no room for error.
you had to be perfect at every cost.
the more you had that thought linger over you every day, the more you hated studying, you hated being confined to you and your thoughts and a quill and some ink and answering things that were only right or wrong, no inbetween.
with the pressure of the newt exams, and leaving hogwarts, there was so much to think about.
and there was so much that only you, a mere human being can take.
as you were in your seventh year, there was a lot at stake, wizarding internships you’ve taken, the amount of studying you would have done, how you were perceived.
oh you took that to a different level, you knew how much was on the line.
꒱࿐♡ ˚.*ೃ
your day had been nothing short of horrible. you had overslept and left you no choice but to hurriedly get your uniform on and scurry to your class without any breakfast. leaving you in an unkempt state, nothing like how you would usually appear. you had transfigurations first, you thought of how you had been forgetting something and you couldn’t figure out what it was. but that was then professor mcgonagall reminded you, you were missing your cloak. you forgot it at the dorms, and you couldn’t go back to get it.
so you sat in your class, embarrassed at the fact that your professor had called you out like this in front of your entire class.
after an assortment of classes, you had one inconvenience after another happen today, and you weren’t in the mood for this at the slightest. and it was really starting to get under your skin, you didn’t want to see anyone you knew at all, then again…were you really close with anyone in this school?
so you had gone into the girls bathrooms and quietly sobbed to yourself, you were lucky moaning myrtle wasn’t around at this time…that way she wouldn’t have pestered you. not that you didn’t like her, but she was like a house fly, always around and never really leaves you alone.
you had one class left, potions with professor snape.
it had been one of your favourite classes until today. you had been dreading going into such a tense class, especially with someone like professor snape. not to say you were both on bad terms as teacher and professor, he actually tolerated you.
after the day you had, where everything had been going wrong, you could think of millions of other places to be in rather than potions.
you couldn’t focus at all, you had found yourself freezing up at each ingredient you had used up. were they even the right ones?
you didn’t even realize that your cauldron’s mixture had been bubbling until an explosion occurred, ruining your already ‘incorrect’ uniform and the cauldron breaking apart.
the classroom left in complete silence. did you fail at a potion? you failed at something and the whole class and the potions master were left  stunned.
“5 points from slytherin.” professor snape bluntly announced, much to the dismay of your classmates.
once professor snape had announced the assignment for his upcoming class, your fellow peers had left however, you froze.
severus was about to start putting everything away but hadn’t realised until now… you were the only one left.
“miss l/n. class is over. you are free to leave.” severus said.
you shot up, tears brimming your eyes as you approached him eye to eye.
“please sir, let me start again. i can perfect this potion…i know it like the back of my hand.” you stammered out.
“given your lack of participation in the class and your failure to create the potion, i cannot let you do so.” severus said.
you felt your heart sinking, severus glided away from you continuing to clear up his classroom. but suddenly he turned around to find you dropped to the floor.
“y/n!” he called.
you could only hear your quickened breathing, your urge to speak halted by your hyperventilating. severus was about to berate you for not leaving his class, but the second he saw your vulnerable state…all his guards broke down.
“miss l/n, do you know where you are?” he asked.
“p-potions!” you uttered.
“good, do you know what you’re going through right now?”
you instantly shook your head, your breathing instantly getting worse, sweating bullets and your hyperventilating soon turning into gasps of fear.
this was never something you had to go through, you couldn’t handle yourself in this moment.
that was until you felt your professor take your hands and held them tightly between his own.
“y/n…i need you to focus, only on my voice and nothing else. you have to breathe, take deep breaths in…and out…like this.” severus said. he slowly begun to demonstrate the deep breathing and you shortly followed suit.
once your professor found you capable of taking deep breaths on your own, he slowly stopped but his hands still grasped yours.
“there we go...how do you feel?” severus asked.
you only shrugged, you had twitched your lips to at least try and say something but you couldn’t say anything.
you looked to your professor and he gave you a small nod. “i don’t know…professor.” your hoarse voice croaked.
severus helped you up and grabbed a nearby chair, dragging it opposite to his desk and guided your timid body to the chair. “please have a seat.” he said.
you watched him fill up a glass of water in a cup and handed it to you.
“you’ll need it y/n, no point in hesitating now.” he said.
“if you wish to tell me anything, you have the opportunity to do so. but…if you would like some time, to calm down, garner your thoughts…i won’t kick you out.” severus assured.
upon giving you the choices, severus knew you weren’t going to tell him straight away. so he sat, marking some first year assignments. the scratchings of the quills, the bubbling of cauldrons soothed you in a way. you liked staying in professor snape’s classroom, an all round ambience that always satisfied you and made it a safe place for you.
after what felt like hours, you couldn’t let your thoughts be an additional company in this already eerie classroom.
“i had a bad day, professor.” you said.
severus perked up, putting his quill away and all his attention went to you. “how bad? on a scale from zero to ten?” he asked.
“nine and a half.” you admitted.
“quite high rather than your usual days.” severus replied.
you softly laughed at his remarks, and you nodded.
“all of the things that never entirely go wrong…went wrong today. i overslept, and i couldn’t find my cloak. i then i was late for transfiguration and got point deducted. i’ve had such horrible lessons and some pathetic first year spilt their juice all over my books as i was studying. and this class went so badly, i just…i just want today to be over.” you choked up, your tears dropping onto your uniform as you tried to wipe away your tears.
never once did severus ever see you cry. your professor had been stunned to see you in such a vulnerable state, since nobody had the courage to do so.
he didn’t know what to do.
severus was never a caring person but perhaps he could try.
“miss l/n, y/n. you know none of this is your fault, i assure you that things will get better.” severus said.
he couldn’t help but mentally cringe at his words.
“will they?” you asked, wiping away your tears.
severus nodded. handing you a napkin, and with a tinge of hesitance you took it, wiping your face rather than ruining your uniform.
he couldn’t help but think, maybe he could trust one his students? just this once.
“my classroom and my office will always be open for you. should you require my services, i will make sure i can accommodate any of your needs.” severus replied.
your eyes glimmered for a split second, you slowly begun to realise your days were moulding into the same thing everyday but this made it different.
to know that one of your teachers was trusting you and had planned on supporting you through anything a student would need, it was reassuring to say the least.
“thank you professor.” you said, with a small grin to your face.
your professor did nothing but hum slightly.
“now…how about we re-do that potion from today’s class?” severus offered.
“that sounds like a perfect idea!” you replied.
you instantly shot up and grabbed a nearby cauldron as your potions making session commenced.
꒱࿐♡ ˚.*ೃ
since that potions class, you felt as if you could never forgive yourself for having such a horrible day of classes. you didn’t want to be seen as a failure, especially when both students and staff alike thought very highly of you.
you had been queen of the school, you were the ones that people would look up to.
you had been put into advanced potions classes as your success, you had been expected to achieved nothing but outstanding in not just one subject but all of your subjects.
there was a word you had always slowly despised. and it had to be ‘expected.’
you wished for that word to never exist, it burdened you. weighed you down endlessly and you had no choice about it. it never came to mind until recently.
once classes were over everyday, you had taken yourself to the library to study. you practically lived and breathed it by this point, you rarely spoke to any of your classmates and found yourself very isolated without you even knowing.
as you got older, you realized that your studying was supposed to be normal, something that the wizarding world (again) expected of you. you had been drowning in your education for normalcy and it exhausted you greatly.
severus had been no stranger to your thoughts. you had been greatly open about your exhaustion and if anything he was the one you trusted.
you always went to him whether it be for advice, to get away from the usual hustle bustle of the break and lunch periods and even after classes you always found yourself staying at his class or his office.
besides from that, you never seemed to interact with anyone else these days. you didn’t know it, but slowly you isolated yourself from your classmates.
you had your regular transfiguration class, well it wasn’t regular to you. you had gotten a few questions wrong today, to which professor mcgonagall had called you out for. you hated when professors felt the need to call you out for your mistakes, you wanted to crawl into a hole and never come out.
and the mistakes seemed to pile on throughout the day. you were almost grateful you didn’t have potions today. had severus seen the state you were in, you would have broken down at the seems.
you entered the library, your safe haven when everything had gone horrendously wrong. you had taken varying books from the shelves and found your favourite spot, the spot in question had been near a spiral staircase, and by a clear window where sometimes, the moon would shine down on you during your study sessions.
it was truly one of your casual magics of your day.
but today was far from it.
a wave of exhaustion hit you as you slumped at your desk, opening multiple books and trying to scribble down whatever felt normal to you. whatever felt right or wrong, but you couldn’t. the longer you sat, the more drained you became.
hours, weeks, months to study for a piece of paper all to get another piece of paper that determined your future.
you were drained.
all those years of your privilege of education weighed on you. and you couldn’t help but slump over your arms and cry.
your tears dripping onto your work.
you never truly realized how lonely you were.

“oh severus, you’re lucky i caught you! a word? if i may?” minerva asked as she caught severus right on time.
severus nodded and followed minerva. what could she possibly want?
“i’ll cut straight to the point and won’t stop you from going to your night shift. but have you spoken to miss y/n l/n as of late?” minerva asked.
now that he was thinking about it, he hadn’t seen you all day. he didn’t have his advanced potions class much to his dismay, as they had been the saving graces of his week.
“no i haven’t. i didn’t see her at all today! she isn’t in any trouble is she?” he asked, his brow cocked upwards naturally.
“oh no no, she isn’t. however i have been concerned about her as of recent months. she hasn’t spoken to any of her classmates. nor her teachers in quite a few months. i really worry that the newts are getting to her.” she said.
perhaps it had something to do with minerva being quite harsh on her seventh years, perhaps it was because you wanted to get good grades. but your reasonings were beyond her.
“so naturally you decided to approach her head of house?” severus said. minerva only nodded.
“i know how much those slytherins of yours look up to you! especially her, and believe me she is by far one of a kind. but please make sure she’s okay!” minerva said.
severus agreed, and they had both part ways. he made sure that no students were dawdling around in the corridors and much to his surprise it was awfully quiet, but of course he had known where students had been skiving off. he was hogwarts alumni himself.
once he deducted as many points as he possibly could and escorted the students back to their respective common rooms, he then went and checked the library. it would usually be quiet, however due to the oncoming examinations it was busy, however the library was closed for the night. but it wouldn’t harm him if he inspected.
quiet.
how it should be prior to the exam season.
there hadn’t been many students in the library, except there was one. all the on the top, he climbed up the spiral staircase ready to scald whoever it was. but before he could go any further, he had heard…crying. he grabbed his wand and mumbled the lumos incantation.
his face dropped slightly as he quietly reached the top floor. your books laid out all over the table, he could hear your sniffles, your body trembling slightly. he couldn’t help but frown, you were a spitting image of him in his youth.
he could remember the countless nights in which he spent all night studying because he had nobody to go to anymore. nothing fulfilled him at that time and his education was his only way out.
“y/n?” he called.
you jolted up, startled by the light that alarmed you more than anything. the sight of you was shocking to severus, he hadn’t seen you in such a state. your blood shot eyes, your dried tear stains like snail trails and your pool of tears riddled all over your books. you could see on severus’ face he was disappointed, and that got you in a complete panic.
with a wave of his wand, everything had disappeared from the table. all your personal belongings had been moved to severus’ office, for the time being.
severus knelt to your level and gently put his hand on your arm. “i think its time we had a chat.” he said.
you followed him all through hogwarts, down the spiral staircase and into the dungeons where his office had been next to his class.
severus let you enter his office and you sat opposite his desk. severus sat opposite you, he didn’t have that normal expression, it was a look of worry.
“y/n…is everything okay? some of the professors have raised some concerns. they just want to check in on you.” severus asked.
his words lingered but his voice soothened you, his words were enough for you to sob. all your emotions let out in this small office, and severus couldn’t help but frown.
he didn’t speak, severus pulled a chair and wrapped you in his embrace. never before had he been this caring towards any of his students, he would never have hugged a gryffindor to comfort them from their turmoil.
he let you cry all you needed. it hurt him greatly that one of his best students had been holding such emotions. he slowly took off his cloak and wrapped it around you, having noticed how cold you were.
after some time had passed, he slowly let go of you and you took out that napkin he gave you all those months ago and you wiped your tears on them.
“any better?” severus said. you nodded, “now then…whats got you like this?” he asked.
after a pause, you had fiddled with the hems of your jumper avoiding eye contact with your professor.
“i’m so exhausted professor. i just want this school year to be over. all my revision is going so wrong, and i can’t study. i’m so tired of everything, everything is the same professor. i wake up and i go to my classes and i answer the same questions and  then i get them wrong…and i know everyone’s going to laugh at me because they know me and they think i’m a failure, all my teachers don’t even acknowledge that i’m here and i hate it. i’m so…so alone, and i just can’t… i can’t do this anymore.” you rambled, you tried not to burst into tears again, but it was inevitable that such a thing would happen as you found yourself crying once more.
“oh y/n…” severus mumbled.
it shattered him knowing this was happening to you, severus knew you had come to him because he was the one who made your school days better, he knew what it was like to be the gifted but burnt out child and he didn’t want that to happen to you.
“it’s going to be so difficult these few months, i know how you feel and believe me…i understand. quite possibly more than you know.” he said.
“not many people know this, but i was in your shoes when i was at school. everything you are feeling is valid and if you need my assistance in anything, i would be more than happy to do so.” severus continued.
you nodded, a teary smile appeared to your face.
severus  only hummed slightly, getting up and going to the counter, grabbing the old kettle filling it with water. you sat there, wondering to yourself. how foolish you were to drain yourself to such lengths, the guilt hanging in the air like a puppet.
you heard footsteps as severus slowly returned with a mug of hot tea. “thank you…” you mumbled.
severus returned to his seat, picking up a few papers and writing in them. you watched him carefully as you sipped the tea he made. it was peppermint. much to your surprise, it was your favourite kind of tea.
“professor, what were you like at school?” you asked.
severus looked up, a shy smile appeared to your face, but it quickly disappeared. he sighed softly, you needed someone to talk to. he put his quill down and got up, rummaging through a box he had at his shelves. he had picked out a few things, nothing that you could decipher what they were.
he placed them gently at the table, you peered over and took a good look at the photos.
“is that you?” you said, pointing to the school year group photo. severus nodded, “i’m surprised you of all people can recognize me.” he said.
“well you do have quite a distinctive appearance…in a good way of course!” you reiterated.
severus half heartedly laughed, not many people in  his life managed to do that. but you did, perhaps this was a new feeling for him.
“no need to emphasise, i know you didn’t mean it like…that. but yes, i was a student here much like yourself. 1971 until 1978, i was exactly like you…” he started to say.
should he even continue?
he did.
“my studies were the only thing that could get me away from the reality i lived in, the world was too harsh and i had nobody to call home. not even my own father wanted to make the effort, so my head was always down in my endless books. i…was alone. and i still am, the people i once loved are long gone and the people i have grown to despise may not be around, but their presence still lingers…” he continued.
he had been pacing left to right by his desk, looking at the stained glass window. he could remember all the faces of those who hurt him, those who even tried to kill him. he was surprised how he even survived not one but two wizarding wars.
“i experienced everything you are currently feeling in his moment, the constant exhaustion and the fatigue. reading the same contents over and over again until you tire yourself out, having nobody to go to because you’re alone…so lonely.”
sympathy was all you could feel. you frowned upon listening to him, how could he think he think this way?
“well i don’t think you’re alone sir, you have the other professors…you have me.” you said.
severus look up slightly. the hint of realization at your words, he had you. no he didn’t.
“you? don’t be ridiculous, you’ll leave…like every other student and you’ll be glad you got rid of your pathetic potions professor.” severus snapped.
you both looked at each other, yours with worry and the latter with sheer regret.
“my apologies, i shouldn’t have said that.” severus said.
but what came was unexpected for the potions master. he heard to cup being placed quietly, and then he saw you at his side, looking at him with no shame and with that smile on your face you said…”no one should ever be alone, not even you professor.”
his heart filled with warmth, how could you be so caring and kind at your lowest moments? that was something that astounded him.
“thank you y/n…your words are greatly appreciated.” severus said.
you both sat down back at his desk, where the silence was no longer dreary for the both of you. it was calm.
“i have something for you.” severus said.
you perked up a little bit, curious to know what your professor had in store or you.
as severus looked through his desk, he then picked up a book. it was the advanced potions making book you were using, he placed it in front of you.
“professor, that’s yours…i can’t take that from you!” you stated shocked that he would hand yo something personal. not only to borrow but to even keep!
“y/n i insist. you are one of my model students, your future is bright beyond belief. i learnt a long time ago, never put your prized possessions in the wrong hands. i am  making the right decision here, this is something i want you to keep. and you needn’t worry, i have many a copy from this book.” severus insisted.
he was right! he had many copies from this book, he preferred the second and first editions of the book he had stuck by for so long and it had become a routine for him to annotate them the exact way he would have when he was a student.
“well, if you would really want me to keep this, then thank you. that means a lot to me.” you said, your true smile coming back to you.
“you’re welcome.” severus answered.
severus hadn’t even realized how long they had been in his office, but it was certain that it had been way past midnight. but the potions master couldn’t care less. even he could break the rules just this once, if it meant making positive memories for his favourite student.
he hadn’t smiled in years, listening to you talk about your interests, your future, it really intrigued him.
upon hearing how your parents were educators in the wizarding world, he found out where that stress and pressure came from. for him, it was the house. when his mother died, his father had completely taken over. the only spark that lit up the snape household was no more, his father was quick to put that out in an instant.
the smile on your face turned to a frown once you mentioned the stresses you were under, what would they think of her now? skiving off at night to hang out with her potions professor?
severus could read you like a book, he knew there was doubt in you. you were getting cold feet about leaving hogwarts, the exams, being pushed out into the wizarding world. it was all dawning on you.
“if this will be of any reassurance…i want you to know, there is absolutely no pressure for you to be perfect. whether it be in grades or how you wish to be portrayed at this school, its all entirely up to you and your future is in your hands. if in the case things…don’t go accordingly, i will make sure you go on the path you rightfully deserve.” severus said.
it was a lot to promise from him, but he figured he can push some buttons, and pull some strings if things failed. to which he was certain they won’t, but there was no harm in thinking ahead.
“now, i think its high time you got some rest madam.” he scalded slightly. as he looked to his clock and finding out it was way later than expected.
“yes professor, i’ll head back to the dorms.” you said, getting up and heading for the door but was soon interrupted but the clearing of his throat.
“oh, your cloak sir.” you said.
“keep it.” he replied.
“but you never-”
“don’t worry about that. i have spares. i came to give you this.” he answered.
he then handed you an invisibility cloak. “i want the invisibility cloak returned tomorrow.” severus added.
you looked to him and nodded. “thank you professor snape. i won’t ever forget this, not one bit. i never told you this but, you truly are my favourite teacher here.” you plucked the courage to say.
you then did the unthinkable, you gave severus a hug. he didn’t really know what to do, nobody had admitted to saying that before. his arms slowly wrapped around your back and patted it gently, once you both let go you left his office.
he felt a tear escape his eyes, he wiped it away and then looked at the door. he never realised how much of an impact he had on his students, until now.
you solidified that even he mattered in a place like hogwarts.
you made him feel so important.
꒱࿐♡ ˚.*ೃ
the empty dorm.
you couldn’t believe that everything was over, you got the grades you desired and you knew what you truly wanted the moment you stepped out of hogwarts.
you slowly realized that you didn’t tell professor snape about your grades. you left the empty dorm, and sped walked down the spiral staircase. the smile on your face grew wider upon entering to cool dungeons, you knocked on the door of professor snape’s office as you beamed at being in the presence of your potions master.
and then the door opened.
“y/n.” severus said.
“hi professor.”
“what brings you here? the train will be leaving soon.” he replied.
“i just wanted to take a look around one last time.” you answered.
he then made some space for you to come inside the classroom, you took a good look around at every table, every cauldron.
all the potions that were on the shelf, all the ingredients. the candle lit classroom bringing you true happiness and then you looked to your professor.
you thought of all the good memories you made with him. it was truly funny. you had spent the most time with him, more than any other teacher. you remember how excited you would always be to go to potions class. everyone would ask you why you would be happy to see someone as grouchy as professor snape, and it was a question that had many many answers.
but you just did. you liked it.
you then rummaged through your bag  and handed him a piece of a paper. a transcript of your grades.
“i never showed you did i?” you said.
severus shook his head, you watched him unfold the paper and there he saw the grades. outstandings with a few exceeds expectations, he saw the outstanding grade in potions and a smirk on his face. he looked to you and nodded approvingly.
handing you the paper back, that small twitch in his lips grew a little wider this time.
“you’ve done me very proud y/n.” severus said as he patted your shoulder lightly.
you had a smile that lit up the whole class. hearing your favourite professor say that meant the world.
you hadn’t heard those words in a very long time.
“go on y/n. the train is waiting.” severus said handing back your results.
“oh right…” you said, wiping away a single tear. before you left the potions class, you turned back to professor snape….one last time.
“thank you professor. for everything.” you said.
severus nodded. “it was a pleasure knowing and teaching you.” he replied.
you smiled tearfully, severus saw you almost breaking apart and that was the last straw for him. he glided to you and gave you a tight hug.
“you’re off to do great things y/n, i know it. and i’m so proud of you.” he said.
you were going to miss him.
the greatest teacher you had ever known.
꒱࿐♡ ˚.*ೃ
it had been years upon teaching you. severus had yet to find a student that can match what you had, he had been going through diagon alley when all of a sudden, he had seen a long que at one of the book stores. he then saw your name in the window.
next thing he knew, he saw your name on the building.
he didn’t bother lining up, he had barged past people and entered the shop that had your name on it.
a brochure on the table’s entrance that read: ‘y/n’s corner. for all your wizardly needs.’
“excuse me, have you seen miss l/n? i believe she owns the shop.” he asked.
“oh she’s not here at the moment.” one of the workers said.
and there he stood.
not bothering to move from the shop
꒱࿐♡ ˚.*ೃ
“y/n, thank goodness you’re here. some git barged into the que and he isn’t leaving the shop! its 6 o’clock, we have to close now.” the worker said.
“right…well, you can go home. i will close the shop tonight, okay?” you said.
the worker nodded and went to grab their things and left.
the worker took one look and left, flipping the label from open to closed. severus watched the worker leave, and then back at the shop, and there he saw you.
“hello professor.” you said.
your grin wider than ever as you approached him and gave him the longest and tightest hug. he was taken aback at first but warmed up to your touch.
you stayed like that for quite some time before eventually one of you let go.
“its good to see you again y/n.” severus said.
“oh we’re finally on first name basis now!” you replied.
“it’s nothing but 4 years since you left. you can call me severus now.” severus answered.
“well…severus you haven’t aged at all, not since the last time i saw you.” you teased, testing his name out on him and needless to say it was a perfect name for him.
“i see you’ve made a name for yourself. your shop has everything.” as severus changed the subject he continued to look around the shop, he sat down at one of the chairs and watched you pt everything back into its places.
“i took a year away from education, making this shop felt like my true calling. obviously i would like to go to university but this shop keeps me going. oh if you’d like the tour, books and all your educational essentials are on the second floor, all your magical needs are on this floor here and the bottom is my favourite place, the café.” you said.
severus got up and took a good look around, the vials of potions and ingredients labelled at the bottom. he put them back and made his way to the second floor where you had been sorting out the books.
what caught his eyes was your name on one of the books.
“you’ve been writing?” severus asked.
you perked up from one of the shelves and stood by severus, by the time you had stood next to him he felt something completely brand new.
his heart had skipped a beat when you were in his presence, you picked up the book and flipped through the pages.
“i write a bit of everything, i think its going to be the one of the many things i love for a very long time.” you asked.
severus couldn’t have been more happier, while he didn’t show it he was happy that you had made a name for yourself in the wizarding world.
you grabbed a marker and slipped a piece of paper into the book, handing it to him with a smile.
“here. its on me.” you said.
“are you sure? i’m capable of paying.” he asked with a brow raised.
“i insist.” you replied.
he looked to the clock, it had been getting late.
“well…i appreciate this y/n, i’ll be heading off.” severus replied.
“will i be seeing more of you?” you asked.
“perhaps you will.” he answered.
you beamed, as you both went to the bottom of the shop you felt something warm grow inside you. it was like you were back at hogwarts, staying in his class after your day has ended. talking to him about your day and he would listen.
before you and severus parted ways once more, you grabbed a hold of his hand, both your eyes glistening at one another and then you pressed a kiss to his cheek. it was quick but it was enough for severus to be completely stunned. he had a tighter grip on the book you gave him, his pale complexion suddenly turning a tint of red as he gazed at you.
“i’ll see you around, severus.” you finally brought yourself to say, leaving to go back to your job.
as much as it shocked him, he couldn’t leave. he watched you from afar and then slowly, begun to walk away.
he then looked to the book.
he apparated back to spinners end, once arriving at his home, he sat down in his arm chair and read the book you gave him. it was fiction of some sorts, he rarely read fiction. not since he was a child. but as he continued reading he could practically envision you at your desk, writing away with that grin on your face and was very much drawn in at every word you wrote.
once the story had been over he saw the acknowledgments page he continued to read.
many people in my life had expected a lot from me and i’m certain dear reader, that if you picked up this book you would feel the same. i hope this piece of fiction gave you happiness, or you hold it in a special place in your life whether it be publicly or privately. my biggest dedication goes to the first person who ever saw such potential in me. severus snape.
my potions professor at hogwarts school of witchcraft and wizardry. anyone who knows him well understands how much of a tough nut he is to crack but with myself in particular, he was truly the kindest of people. he supported me constantly in my seven years at hogwarts and helped me realize that the people who ‘know’ what’s right for you are the ones who want you to do so much in such little time, but severus snape never expected me to be a certain person. his presence in his classes made me feel safe, when it was just myself and him helping me out in potions, he made it a safe environment for me to succeed and i couldn’t be more fortunate to have met a teacher like him.
so to severus snape, thank you for all you’ve done.
his brows furrowed as his eyes glazed over the acknowledgment. over and over, moment by moment his heart turned warm. but then he realized that wasn’t the only thing you left him, he unfolded the letter. the letter you gave him.
hello severus,
i think by now you must have finished the book. i wouldn’t be surprised if you did. i know how powerful your memory can be and your ability to retain information always astounded me, even as a student.
i wanted to give you this letter as a sign of my appreciation. i wanted to thank you for everything you’ve done for me in my time at hogwarts. i know i’ve definitely had my low moments, you have seen this first hand. but nonetheless, i just wanted say thank you.
thank you for being one of the best teachers at hogwarts, no wonder that you’re the best potions master in the wizarding world.
thank you for always helping me be a good student and also a good person. you helped me understand that whatever outcome i have in my grades and in my education, it doesn’t reflect on who i am as a person. i never knew what that was until you brought it to my attention all those years ago.
thank you for everything you’ve done for me at hogwarts.
you were always my favourite professor and you still are. i hope you hear that often these days.
thank you once again.
signed, y/n l/n.
he read the letter once more before gently placing the book and letter at the table by the fireplace, his eyes welled with tears as your kindness slowly begun to sunk in.
he hadn’t heard anyone tell him anything from what you wrote in that letter, and he was more than grateful he had heard it from you.
severus would never have known, but he knew it was certain.
you would be perfect for him…

HIS ASSISTANT
Severus Snape x Reader
Request: yep, by @Chloelouise02
Summary: (Y/n) was Snape's only friend back in their time at Hogwarts, but they had a falling out just before they graduated so he doesn't know how to feel now that she had been appointed as his assistant. This takes place during the golden trio's third year, or, more specifically - in their first lesson.
Warnings: a swear word or two?; dementors; shouting; pretty much just fluff
Word Count: 1.7K+
"Clean up that mess", he drawled lowly, and for the hundredth time that week I fumed at his attitude.
"Magic word?", I seethed, not moving a muscle to reach for my wand.
"If you wanted me to Imperio you, you could just say so", even through all this I heard his suppressed smirk that I would have loved to see after all this time, but apparently wasn't worthy of.
I couldn't help but roll my eyes in disbelief, and was inevitably reminded of our past shared moments. I'm not sure if it made me sad or happy thinking about. Maybe nostalgia is meant to have both.
"How about the other one?"
After a very long and over-dramatic sigh he gave in, boosting my serotonin levels drastically, at least that's what I think this feeling was.
"...Please."
"See? Was that so hard?" He didn't answer but his expression suggested it was indeed so hard.
I pulled out my wand reluctantly and swung the wood wordlessly, the puddle of rainbow-coloured failure vanishing in thin air.
I mean hey, at least it wasn't as bad as Seamus' rumored explosive draughts.
In fact, there were many rumours about all students of Hogwarts as well as teachers from other schools and Rosemary or someone of the likes from down in a Hogsmeade pub.
If I'm being honest, the teachers' room possessed more qualities of a gossip girls set-up, a talk show or a Comedy Drama movie than a teachers' room at all; but I wisely decided a while ago already to keep this to myself.
Severus apparently enjoyed the talk just as, if not more than anyone else, not that he would ever dare to admit it.
Sev...
It felt strange calling him Severus. It felt stranger calling him Snape, though, so to his dismay that's what he was going to have to put up with. We just weren't on good enough terms again for, well, honestly? Anything.
Now you may be wondering how we ended up like this. To keep it short: I'm the second-last week of our last school year he kissed me. And for whatever reason I kissed him back because apparently I had a stupid crush on him; but then he felt guilty because of Lily (am I a joke to him?) and just left and refused to talk to me again.
Great way to treat your best friend. Really. Wicked.
"Is it just my imagination or are you particularly moody right now? Because I could swear I made you laugh an hour ago and I've basically just lost all of my progress." His lip twitched upward as he positioned himself behind one of the front desks, but maybe it was a trick on the eyes.
"No. I am not moody. I am never moody. And I am most certainly not more moody than usual." Those were the most sentences I had gotten out of him in a row all day, but my accomplishment was quickly forgotten at the rubbish he had just made me hear.
"You're never- oh, I get it. I know you're not Mad-Eye. Believe me. You just haven't got the looks", I grinned, before my face fell and I grew serious for once.
"No, seriously. Have you got a bad relationship to the Potter kid or something? Everyone talks about him so much but never in relation to you. Is that it? Are you dreading him?"
I'm pretty sure if you held a really exact ruler to his eyes and you weren't shaking at the look he's giving me now, you would have seen they'd widened a couple of millimeters. But unfortunately I guess no one's gonna take over that job, are they?
He simply stayed silent until all the students had come in and positioned themselves at their desks, including the Potter boy, who was sitting next to who I think was a Weasley.
The lesson began and I watched in curiosity as his eyes flicked to Potter more often than not, although the possibility was still there that it was only because I had brought it up. I gradually regretted not saying so after the lesson more and more.
"This is my new assistant, Ms. (L/n). She will be helping me keep your dim-witted souls under control and prevent you from destroying anything as best as possible", he sent a sharpened glance at Finnigan as he said the last part, making the boy gulp. That has to count for something, right? He hadn't put it that way all the times he introduced me until now, so maybe he was warming up to me again.
I could tell the students wanted to start whispering, but their fear of Severus seemed to surpass even that.
Once he gave the assignment, however, and they started working, I heard my name mentioned in their conversations more often than i would have liked under any circumstances.
I can't believe how judged and pressured you can feel by a bunch of teenagers, even as an adult.
The amount of times it was suggested Sev and I were together or he had a crush on me or something was even more unsettling, yet aside from a casual blown up cauldron on Seamus' behalf the rest of the day went by rather eventlessly.
...
And so did the rest of the week. And the next. And the next. Although I did get rather invested in the drama of Mulligan's relationships, but who didn't?
The dementors on the grounds were becoming more and more annoying, and I was thoroughly sick of them to say the least.
One Saturday I dared to pass the lake and sit down on the edge of the Forbidden Forest. I wanted fresh air, and above all - I wanted to be completely undisturbed.
So, lying down on my jacket I pulled out Tiffany Aching: I Shall Wear Midnight and started reading.
I think I lay there for hours before something happened. Or more accurately, disturbed me.
The air grew cold fast but the wind stood still, as if balancing in the tip of its toes, threatening to plunge forward in one great gust.
As a familiar feeling of sadness invaded me it didn't take long for me to come to my senses and realize what was approaching me.
Dementors. Patronus. Quick. Now.
I spun around, just to look right into it's disgusting face - well, I wouldn't call it that, but then again, what else can one call it?
But before I could do more than draw my wand, before I could utter the words, before a clear thought could even fully pass through my head -
- someone else yelled the spell.
"EXPECTO PROTONUM!"
The voice was suspiciously familiar, so I wasn't all too surprised when I saw the figure of Severus standing on a rock, panting as he held out his wand. The questions that remained were why, how, where and when.
The dementor was being chased away by-
Something that couldn't possibly be true. Anyone who knew Sev - so, not many, I guess - knows that- no, it's can't be.
The figure of a tiger was attempting to pounce on the Dementor, which was gliding away as fast as seemed dementorly possible.
But- a doe- it can't be!
"What were you thinking!?", he raged, marching up to me, wand still raised, "Oh, yes, why not just lie around at the edge of the Forbidden Forest-"
"Severus-"
"-and read a book! Who cares about the dementors whirring around here like a pack of bees!"
"Severus!"
"And what-
"SEV!", I called, but he just yelled louder.
"How stupid are you!? You were never responsible, I guess that never changed, did it? I always have to fucking save you-" That's it.
"SEVERUS FUCKING SNAPE YOU WILL BE QUIET THIS MINUTE."
That seemed to do the job.
"Don't you go on about you saving me, and don't you dare try and embarrass me or something just because you felt embarrassed yourself back then when you were seventeen! How petty can you be? It was one kiss, I don't care!" My breath fell short as I shared the thoughts I had been dying to tell him. "And since when is your patronus the same as mine!?"
He stayed quiet yet again. God, I hate it when he does that. Well, no, I don't, but I hate it when he does it after I confronted him with something.
"I didn't-" Silence again.
"It's been a tiger since the day we kissed." He seemed to deem that enough said as he sulked and began turning away.
Oh, no you won't.
"Is it because you don't regret it?", I called, barely keeping control of my words at this point. "Because you still want to?"
He halted suddenly, whisked around in one motion, and walked up to me. He stood mere inches from me and for the life of me I couldn't tell whether he was about to yell at or kiss me.
The latter was the case.
He simply pecked my lips once before smiling slightly-
I repeat, smiling!
-and walking off yet again. But this time I didn't stop him. In fact, I didn't do anything much as I watched his cape hide him until he felt beyond the horizon.
And I had never minded as much as now.

A/N:
Oh, to be an assistant...
This was fun, but my autocorrect is actually killing me. Like really. I have French, German, English and emoji keyboards on here and I'm pretty sure I'm gonna lose it
Like every time I'm writing in one language it is ALWAYS, I repeat ALWAYS in a different one.
Anyways, hope you liked this, I would appreciate every comment you can spare :D

You walk into Snape's classroom and lean against the wall as you listen to him speak before the class is dismissed and you watch the students quickly escape the room. "Miss L/n, do you know it is rude to walk in during one of my leasons."
You scoff, holding your hand up. "Silence, you uneducated peanut." Severus stares at you with a cold expression, not impressed with your words.
"Do you need something, Miss L/n? Or are you here to waste my time." You ignore his coldness and move closer to him.
"Yes, Professor Snape. I'm here for your answer to my question." You stare and he moves away. "You know the one about dinner tonight?"
Severus turns dramatically, a blank expression on his face. "No, Miss L/n and I will continue to say no."
You pout, but Severus doesn't budge. He stares you down until you sigh and turn to leave. "Okay."

How Long Will I Love You (Severus Snape)
Okay, first of all, I know some of you don't like Snape but as for me, I have mixed feelings about his character. It's because his character was portrayed differently from the books. He was not a villain but he was not a good person either. I won't justify the fact he bullied his students. I do like how flawed his character is. And that's why I created a one-shot about him to show my appreciation for his character.
Also, I wrote this because I was listening to 'How Long Will I Love You' by Ellie Goulding and I thought of Snape and Lily. And I think that this song just really suits Snape because of his love and loyalty for Lily.

I didn't mean to.
I never meant to.
Everyone, I, myself included wondered why I fell in love with Severus Snape. Trust me, I question it every day and every night.
He's vile and vicious. He's a Slytherin. He's evil and weird and vicious-- wait, I already said that.
-
I was sitting at the Courtyard and I saw him walking with his Slytherin friends. Everyone rumors that they were practicing Dark Arts without supervision. They say that Professor Slughorn doesn't know about it, but some say he was the one who's supervising it.
While they made their way to the corridor, his eyes met mine. Our gaze is locked for a couple of seconds before he looks away. He changed throughout the summer, I can see that. His hair, of course, remained long. His nose was large yet a bit slimmer than before.
He looks less...greasy.
I snapped out of my thoughts when my friend, Jane snapped her fingers in front of me.
"Who are you looking at?" She raised her eyebrow.
"No one."
"Do you expect me to believe that?"
"As a matter of fact, yes." I took a bite of my chocolate.
-
"I will choose your partner for this Potion Project. Any objections and points will be deducted." Professor Slughorn said while the students groaned in annoyance. I was one of them.
I admit that I am not good at Potions. Well, some of it is passable-- just like Professor Slughorn's comments on my Potions.
It's a wonder why I am good at Herbology yet awful at Potions.
"Evans with Goodwin." I looked at my friend Jane who was partnered with Lily Evans. They were both excellent at Potions so there wasn't any problem with that.
"L/N with... Ah, yes. Severus Snape." My heart dropped when our Potion's teacher mentioned his name.
I saw his face and he wasn't thrilled to be my partner. I could say the same thing to him. I frowned as I made my way to his side. It's not like I have any other choice. I don't want our house points to get deducted because I refuse Severus Snape to be my partner.
"Start up the cauldron while I go get the ingredients." He left at my side to gather the ingredients for the Sleeping Draught Potion. I didn't protest since he left before I could say anything. I start up the cauldron just like he said.
When he returned, he started to work on the ingredients.
"What do you want me to do?" I asked him.
"Just look after the cauldron. When I hand you the ingredients, you put them then mix it the number of times in my book says." He answered. I nodded at him and did what he asked me to do once again.
The Potion was perfect. Of course, it would be since it was hard to make a mistake when you're partnered with one of the best students in Potion's Class.
"Thank you."
"No need to thank me, L/N. It was a group activity." With that, he left.
I didn't expect him to chitchat with him so I let him be.
Jane went to my side and clung her arm to mine. Together, we walked out of the Potions Classroom.
"Did everything go well with Snape?" She looked at me as if she was seeking a piece of important information.
"It was...less horrible, I guess."
"Really? And...was worth the time to be partnered with your secret crush?"
"Yes-- wait, what? No! I don't have a crush on that guy! What makes you think of that?!" I rumbled at her as she laughed at my expression.
"What are you laughing at?!" I frowned at my friend.
"Please, Y/N. We've been friends for 7 years now. You don't need to deny it. I see the way you look at him." She wriggled her eyebrows which made me frown even more.
I don't have a crush on him... Maybe he became more good-looking this year than the past years I saw him. But I don't have a crush on him. I don't...
"Do not frown. You've been looking at him like you would drool all over him since the term started. Everyone's been whispering that he indeed looked good, even handsome after the summer break. I guess he had a late puberty hit." She giggled.
"Drool? Are you mad? You are mad." I groaned at her. She's wrong. I've been looking at Snape since the fifth year. But she doesn't need to know that.
There have been amount of times when Potter and his little friends bullied him and I was there. I feel bad, really. I wanted to step in and help, like the Hufflepuff, I am. But he doesn't know me. It'll be weird. Besides, he has Evans.
But I guess, shortly after that scene. They were not friends anymore. At least I heard so.
"I am not mad. Perhaps, you are. You fancy the man who seems to be mad at everything, anything. Look what cost him. He lost Evans just because she was trying to defend him in front of Potter and his idiotic friends."
"He was embarrassed. Have you seen his face? Sure, it was wrong of him to tell Evans a mudblood. But maybe..." I bit my bottom lip, trying to stop myself from talking.
"You're defending him. We don't really know what exactly if he actually meant it."
"Yeah... I just hope he isn't what people think of him."
"I don't know. Maybe, he is. Considering he is friends with Evan Rosier, Regulus Black, and other Slytherin folks that are loyal to..."
"Voldemort."
"Don't say his name!" My friend scolded me.
"Sorry." I apologized. "Do you think he's a death eater?"
"It's hard not to think that he is not." I hope he's not.

Oh, no.
How did I end up getting stuck with Severus Snape?
I used as many spells that would unlock the door but it seems none of them were working. I looked back at Snape, who looked like he was bored. His arms were crossed, looking at me intently. He looks amused. Bored but amused.
I frowned at him.
"Well? Do you know any spells, any counter-curses? We can't be stuck here!" I told him but his face remained the same.
"Snape! Talk!"
"I am not a dog, Y/N." He finally said. "Be quiet and let me think."
So he was thinking. I hate him.
I leaned my weight on the wooden table near me and far from him. I looked at him while he kept looking at the door in front of him.
Even with his long hair, it looks soft. It doesn't look greasy as they say. It looks really smooth and soft-- merlin, why do I keep saying that?
"Prank."
"Pardon?"
"This was a prank."
"How so?" He looked annoyed as I kept asking him questions.
"This was a prank, stupid girl. I was supposed to be stuck here alone as soon as I entered and closed the door behind me. But you..."
Did he just call me stupid?
"I..."
"I didn't need your help," He said. He looks angry at me.
I knew some of the students in our year were planning to trap Snape in this classroom. But I didn't know exactly that their prank was a powerful kind of spell that not even an alohomora could open the door.
I tried to approach him but the door was already shut behind me. And now, we're stuck.
"Who said I was helping you?" I rolled my eyes, trying to sound confident.
"Then why are you here?"
"I-I left something here..."
"And that is?" He raised an eyebrow at me. I looked away.
"My quill."
"Do you know that this classroom is abandoned?" Ah, he caught me.
"I come here often." I continue to defend.
He didn't say anything else. This was the first time we had this long conversation. I heard him sigh as he ran his fingers through his long black hair. I felt my cheeks burn.
He's...handsome.
"Why do they hate you?" I asked to break the silence. I don't even why I bother to ask him a question when I know he wouldn't answer them.
But to my surprise...
"Everyone hates Slytherin."
"I have friends in Slytherin and I don't hate them."
"Why am I not surprised that you don't hate us?" I don't hate you.
"I'm not trying to surprise you. But I ask if you know they prank you often and harm you even if it's just for fun. Why...don't hurt them?"
Snape studies my face. His eyes looked into my lips, nose, and then my eyes.
"It's worthless." I want to hurt them. I want them to suffer. I want them to be physically and mentally hurt and suffer. They deserve it—all of them.
I stared into his eyes, reading his thoughts. That he doesn't mean what he just said. There's pain, bitterness, and hatred.
"Don't read my mind."
"I'm not. I am not a skilled Legilimen." I do read minds. But not too deeply. My dad taught me before I died.
"Then, stop."
"Sorry."
"Lily..." I covered my mouth. I didn't mean to. I...
"I told you to stop." His voice was cold and stern. He sounded mad, really mad.
"I'm sorry..."
"You're not." Yes, I am not.
"I am."
He looked away. I tried not to read his mind, so I just looked away from him.
"How long do you think this will last?"
"When the professors realized we're missing." I thought he was being sarcastic but he's not.
"Oh..."
-
It's been 3 days since Snape and I were stuck in that abandoned classroom. And it's been 3 days since Jane has been pestering me about the incident.
"For the last time Jane, nothing happened." I groaned as I stopped fixing my plate with waffles with maple syrup and blueberries.
"Not even... a kiss?" My cheeks started to burn as I thought of him and I pressed our lips together. I snapped out of my thoughts by realizing I was putting too much syrup on my waffles.
"No!"
"So like both of you sat in there in silence until everyone realized you were both missing?"
"Yes. Well, no-- please don't make me say anything."
"Y/N L/N! You read his mind?!" I shushed her.
"Jane! Sometimes I wish you didn't know that I'm a Legilimen." I finally took a bite of my waffles.
"What's like reading his mind?"
"I don't know... You know I feel uncomfortable reading into people's minds unintentionally." I looked down on my food.
"I know."
"All I know is that I get to understand him a little." Jane nodded at me as she finally took her first bite of her food.
While we were eating, I could feel someone was staring at me. My eyes landed on the Slytherin Table and saw him eating his usual breakfast. A boring toast and black coffee. Our eyes locked together. He looked at me intently and I realized he had already practiced Occlumency. It's only a matter of time before he can master Legilimency.
I saw his lips form a small smirk. Although I am not really a skilled Legillimens and I could only look into people's minds a gist of their memories, I am quite excellent at Occlumency.
He can't read my mind. That, I can assure of it.
-
There's an upcoming war. People start to pick sides. But I'd rather choose to keep my family safe. My parents wanted me to leave Hogwarts. But I couldn't. I told them we'd only leave after I graduated. And that's 3 months away.
3 months and I'll we'll flee the country. Far away from him like mum said. Maybe we'll stay in India. Away from the war, from Voldemort.
But do I really want to go with them?
I looked over at Snape in his usual seat at the Slytherin Table. He was alone while reading a book whatever he was reading. His eyes watched mine.
'Are you okay?'
'Get out of my mind.'
'Snape, please.'
'Not picking a side is also choosing a side.'
'I am not joining you.'
'I'm not asking you to.'
'Then what are you trying to tell me?'
'Don't go...Don't leave.'
My eyes widened, still looking at him over his table. I wanted to go over to his side and talk to him. But he didn't want me to be seen hanging around with him. So, reading each other's minds has been our form of communication these past few months.
No one knows about it. Not even, Jane.
'Why?'
He didn't answer and just stood up. I saw him leave the Great Hall. And soon after I followed him.
"You didn't answer my question." I closed the door behind me when we both entered the same abandoned classroom we both got stuck in.
"I don't see any reason to answer you."
"You told me not to leave, Snape."
"Forget it."
"What are you not telling me?"
"Leave." He said without looking at me. His back facing me.
"No. Not until you tell me."
"There's nothing to tell."
"Snape." My tone became stern.
"You need to leave."
"Severus. Please tell me what's wrong. Please, you know fully well I won't leave until you tell me."
"I can make you leave."
"And I can be very persistent."
"Fine." He finally turned to face me. He walked toward me as I unconsciously took steps back until I felt the was against my back. His arms pinned me on the wall, our eyes never breaking.
"Se...Severus?"
"Say my name. Again." I could feel his breath brushing my face.
"Severus..."
"Say it again." His eyes went to mine down to my lips. He was moving closer to me. Our lips almost touching.
"Severus..."
He finally lunged in and captured my lips perfectly. He moved his hands to cup my face while my hands were on his chest as I gripped his robes tightly. Our bodies pressed together. We continued to kiss and hold each other close.
His hands started to move to my waist and turned my body around. He lifted me as he placed me on a table, my arms around his neck as my fingers ran on his long black hair. He groaned when my fingers were on his hair. That gave me a sign that he liked what I was doing.
His kisses went down to my neck as a soft moan escaped from my lips.
"Severus..." He groaned once again while kissing my neck.
"Don't leave." He stopped kissing me as his eyes went back to mine. "Please."
"I-I don't understand why."
"Damnnit, Y/N! I'm in love with you. You could go thick as you get!"
I didn't know what to say but to press my lips on his once again. He kisses me back more passionately, both of our beating hearts being satisfied but not contented.
"You...don't need to pick sides. Just don't leave. I can protect you, please." My hands moved to cupped his cheeks and I caressed it.
"Sev... I won't leave. I promise." I kissed his forehead and after that, I placed my forehead against his. His hands moved on my wrists and brought the palm of my hands to his lips.
"I will protect you...always."
"As I am, my love." I smiled.
-
Despite his love for her, he continued to love Lily. Not romantically but because she was his and will always be a friend to him. A part of him he'll never take away. Y/N understood that. And she was devastated when they couldn't save her and James. So she helped him to protect Harry Potter throughout his years in Hogwarts.
Even Harry Potter became friends with their son, Seth Snape. Y/N knew that her husband had been working as a double agent for Voldemort and Dumbledore. She was against this but Dumbledore and her husband both assured her that it would be fine.
Until Snape had to force and kill Dumbledore. Because of this Harry went on rage on him. Seth knew nothing about his father's mission. He doesn't know that his father is a death eater. Y/N badly wants to tell Seth.
As the war gets worse, fights between Snape and Y/N are continuous.
"You have to trust me!"
"Trust? Severus, our son won't even look at you. He won't even acknowledge you as his father because you killed Dumbledore. Because you continue to do this...mad plan!" She shouted, she cried.
"It's the only way--"
"I know! And I hate it because it's the only way you can save the Wizarding World. It's the only way you can protect Harry... Sev... What about me? You..." She broke into tears and it seemed it was getting harder to breathe because of her sobs. "You promised me that you would protect me. I am getting hurt. I know you are too that's why I continue to support you because my loyalty lies with you. Because I choose you. I pick you. I am on your side. Always."
"Y/N..."
"I can't stand any longer with them. I hate to see these children suffer. Seth is no longer himself. I'm scared, Sev." Snape went to his wife and put her in his arms. He caressed and peppered her with kisses. He doesn't care if he's being watched right now. All he wanted was to comfort the woman he loved. To provide what she needs.
"Please...I need you to trust me. I know what I'm doing. I promise."
"Promise me you won't die. Promise me, Severus... I can't lose you too."
"You won't lose me. I promise."
Snape's plan continued. He helped Harry to destroy the Slytherin locket by sending a Patronus without anyone knowing it. While Y/N knew that Snape could protect himself, she stood by his side. She also never failed to look after Seth. Their son was part of the Dumbledore Army that Harry built to learn DADA.
"Mum..."
"Seth?" Y/N frowned at the sight of his  17-year-old son. "My sweet, what happened?" She went over to her son who sat on the sofa. She cupped her son's face. "You look tired."
"They made me torture them... I feel sick. I am not like him." There was a hint of bitterness in his voice.
"Seth... he's not like them. Your father is trying."
"That's not an excuse. He's still a murderer. He killed Dumbledore." He gritted his teeth.
Y/N was taken aback. Snape was indeed a murderer. His husband killed someone and used an unforgivable curse. If Voldemort is defeated, he could be sent to Azkaban for it.
"Your father did a horrible thing but he's not evil."
"You don't need to keep staying by his side, mum. You can leave and go to hiding."
"Seth! I love your father. I can't leave him. I don't want to leave. I want to stay. Because when you love someone even if it's hard to trust them, even if they already damaged your trust. You will stay with them. You will not leave them. Even if hurts, even if it kills you. I am willing to risk my life for your father. And I would do the same thing to you."
Seth didn't say another word and slowly went to hug his mother. He's already taller than her.
"I'm sorry, mum."
"You also need to be careful. When the war starts, come back to me, okay? Come back. You and your father will come back to me. That's an order."
"We will, mum. We will."
Y/N was not allowed to fight during the Battle of Hogwarts because she was 3 months pregnant. She stayed at Andromeda Tonks' house while they took care of Teddy Lupin. She couldn't sleep as she thought of her husband and son. She hopes when morning rises, both of them will come back to her.
"Y/N, dear, you should rest." Andromeda placed a cup of tea on her bedtable.
"Thank you, Meda."
"It's nothing. They will come back. I know they will." She offered her a comforting smile that made Y/N miss her own mum.
The next morning came and she heard knocking on the door. She immediately saw her son at the doorway and ran to hug him. Seth immediately wrapped his arms around his mother.
"Thank the gods you're okay!" She pulled away and looked at Seth's face. She cupped his cheeks and kissed his forehead.
"Mum..."
"Where's your father?"
Seth broke into tears and hugged his mother again. Y/N didn't understand what was happening and she didn't want to understand it.
"Where's Severus? Where's your father?" Her voice was shaking. She saw Harry standing. Seth pulled away from the hug as Harry walked closer to her.
"I'm sorry... I could have saved him. But... I'm sorry." Harry went to catch Y/N as she broke down in tears as well as Andromeda when she received the news. She also lost her daughter.
-
I hummed a song as I placed Heliotrope flowers on his grave. I placed my daughter on my lap. She looked at the grave with great curiosity.
"Mummy, who are humming to?" My daughter asked. I moved a few strands of her hair to the side and tucked in her ears. I kissed his soft cheeks.
"Your father, sweetheart. He loves it when I hummed him a song."
"I love it when you hummed me a song. I also love when you sing, mummy." She said enthusiastically.
"Of course you do. That's one of the common things you and your father share." I smiled at my daughter. She stood up from my lap and started to run through the grass, laughing.
I stayed at his grave. As the wind brushed into my skin, I imagined him being close to me. His arms wrapped around me while he whispered sweet nothings into my ear. Severus was never the type of person you would think that he would do those kinds of things. But he is capable of them.
"It still hurts, Sev... I want and I need you here. I will never stop loving you, my love. Even if the stars die. You'll wait for me, okay? We will meet again, I promise. Not now but someday." I leaned on his gravestone and placed a kiss. "I love you."
*****
I know I'm sorry this is another one-shot where someone has to die again. I'll make it up, I promise.

The Noise and the Silence
Severus Snape x Fem! Reader
Tags: Angst. Depression. Grief.
A/N: Okay soooo I typically don’t do this, and I try not to...but this is a one-shot from my Hannibal Lecter blog (I am INSANE, I know) that I have remastered for this blog. Here is the original work. It’s quite literally the same thing...but I thought that this idea would fit so well for Severus. Please do not roast me.
Word Count: 2.9k
“I just....I just don’t know what to do.”
Tumblr media
The pounding in your ears hadn’t stopped for weeks. The constant, repeated thud of your heartbeat playing in your head had been relentless. It was a loud drum, and if you sat unoccupied for too long, you would catch yourself beginning to count each thump. Oddly enough, there was another sound that seemed to be in competition with the steady booming of every rush of blood to your head.
It was the loudest of sounds, and a noise that you did not welcome with open arms. It was a silence so loud that it was close to painful. The ring of utter nothingness was beating away at your mind space to the point of near insanity. It seemed that had been your world for the last several weeks. It was either boisterous chatter, or complete emptiness.
To be honest, you weren’t quite sure which one you preferred.
Today was a silence day. The moment that your eyes had opened from your night of restless sleep, you knew what kind of day it was going to be. The silence days were different from the loud days. The silence days were slower, and they were much hazier than the loud ones. Silence days meant you were functioning on autopilot.
Everything that you did was purely muscle memory and basic functions that your brain had signaled every day of your entire life. There were no out of the ordinary or special tasks to switch up your day-to-day life. Silence days meant existing, but just barely.
The few words that you spoke on these kinds of days were hardly even comprehensible to your own self. The little conversations that you were able to have with others was forgotten and lost just as quickly as it was had. It disappeared into the fog that clouded your consciousness. It was drowned by the sea of anguish that flooded your veins.
The loud days were different. Your awareness level was a tad higher, your conscious just a bit clearer. There was some variety in these kinds of days. This meant getting up early and spending the entirety of the day running errands and completing a list of missions to check off your to do list. Many of these tasks were pretty meaningless. Just filler activities to kill time and take up space.
Loud days meant pushing yourself as far as your physical energy would allow. The “go go go” attitude kept you on your feet without rest. As long as you were busy and occupied, then it was a loud day. It usually ended with you crashing at the end of the day with hardly feeling accomplished in any way.
Your world had become so quiet, yet so roaring. Your life was categorized as feeling nothing and feeling everything all at the same time -- and it was a lottery system as to which one you were going to get.
This wasn’t you.
This was the furthest that you had ever strayed from yourself. You were so distant. You were a shell of yourself.
The person that stood before your loved ones was merely an imposter. A stranger had infiltrated your body and was maneuvering it like a worn out puppet. They had all reached out to you, offering their love and services to assist you in whatever you needed. Some of them had been shocked when you pushed them away, while others were unsurprised.
You didn’t want the help. You refused it, in fact. So, there wasn’t much else they could do outside of leaving their offer on the table free for you to take.
Severus was the only one that you had welcomed to stay, but even then the invitation was hardly obvious. It was hard to see the light in front of you when every bit of your had succumbed to darkness. His efforts had been persistent. Again and again he held his arms out to you, and each time you had turned him down.
There was a battle between the noise and the silence, and you were caught in the middle of this tug-of-war. You had been drained of emotional and mental energy long ago. At this point, the opposing sides were fighting over a ghost of a human. Severus had watched you crumble and fall apart in the last several weeks. There was very little spirit and soul to be sought after at this point. At the end of the day, the winner would really have a whole bunch of nothing.
That was what Severus was most afraid of.
He wouldn’t admit it to anyone but himself, but he was worried. He was terrified that you were close to having nothing left to cling onto. He feared that you would have nothing to build yourself back up with. Once you were completely chipped away, there was no coming back -- and that would be the end.
It didn’t help that Severus was a chronic worrier, and anyone who knew him personally knew that he had a tendency to be anxious…particularly when it came to the person he cared about the most.
But other times, he was pretty cool and collected, which made sense that he had all kinds of things that needed to be kept under wraps.
But this was a different kind of situation. You were a part of his life that was disconnected from the more secretive parts. You were the light that shined over the darkness, so in a way, he felt like he had a right to be concerned. He knew that you needed time and space. He had given you as much of it as he possibly could’ve without seeming as if he wasn’t there for you.
In the beginning, he had been there for every initial breakdown, meltdown, and sob fest that you erupted into. Looking back on it, that had been the easy part. He had comforted you as a lover, and guided you through the emotional storm as a man who empathized with you. He stayed up many sleepless nights with you when you couldn’t settle down enough to fall asleep. He soothed every sense of panic and anxiety with ease.
He had not once taken the curt words and the lack of any kind of affection personally. The distraction of your heart was clear to him, and he knew that your reluctance to offer him any kind of attention was not intentional.
He wanted to do nothing more than support you through this process. He was there for you at every step of the initial impact, and after a while, he thought that you were getting better.
He observed you carefully, never once letting himself get too comfortable. The intense emotions ceased, and you began to somewhat return to a day-to-day routine. Suddenly, you weren’t reacting or talking about it at all. Your demeanor had completely shut off from the life that you had around you. It was as if your brain had stopped processing the incident completely.
And that was when he knew that you were actually getting worse.
He partially blamed himself for your deteriorating state. He had dealt with this sort of mental fragility before. He knew the signs, and he could identify them from personal experience.
He found himself wondering if there was something that he could’ve done differently. Was there something that he could’ve said that he didn’t already? Had he not utilized enough of his attentiveness and patience? All kinds of questions had crossed his mind, and none of them had been answered.
He knew that dwelling on what he could’ve done then would only get in the way of what he could do now. He had to do something now, or else he feared he’d lose you completely.
****
It was a bitterly cold February night at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. It had been an abnormally frosty winter, which was alarming considering that the winters were already very wintery. Despite the frigid temperature, it hadn’t deterred you from taking yourself to the dock of the boathouse by the lake to sit in the open air.
The school had been your safe zone for all these weeks that had gone by, but now it was beginning to feel more like a nest of misery that you had created for yourself.
The boards were cold underneath you from where you sat. In all honesty, you had hardly even noticed it. A little chill wasn’t going to rattle you enough to matter.
Your attention was focused on the inky black canvas painted above you. It was dotted and speckled with glittery stars from one end of the horizon to the other…and the water in front of your painted a picture to match. It was the clearest night that you could imagine. There wasn’t a single flaw or imperfection to taint the night sky that you were so infatuated with. In any other time or circumstance, you’d find joy in this scene in front of you.
But not now.
You weren’t sure what you were looking for in that sky above you that seemed to be rolling over you. There weren’t any answers to your questions bouncing around up there. In reality though, you really only had one real question. Over the course of your life, you felt as if you had never gotten a good answer to the age-old question of “why?”. It’s the simplest, yet most complex question in the universe of human language. It seemed rare that anyone ever had a satisfying answer for it.
You hadn’t gotten any real answers or resolutions yet, and tonight was proving to be no different. Just another silence day had come to a fateful end. Nothing had changed. Everything was the exact same.
You exhaled a long breath -- the kind that sank your shoulders to their lowest physical point. The rush of air that escaped from the depths of your lungs was transformed into a white condensed cloud that dispersed into the environment just as fast as it had formed. Sometimes you wished that would happen to you. Exist for a moment, and then vanish into nothing. Nothing lost, and nothing earned.
Your head lowered behind your knees that were bunched against your chest. Just your eyes and the top of your head were visible from the bundle of a shell that you had made for yourself. Your lashes fluttered each time you blinked, and every time that your vision returned upon reopening your eyes, you were met with the same starry sky.
There was a brief commotion from the behind you. The footsteps of a person approached from behind, and they were familiar to your ears that were now cut with sound again. You knew those heavy, slow footfalls anywhere.
An immediate rush of warmth and security flooded your senses when a blanket was wrapped around you securely, covering any exposed skin on your body from the harsh wintery cold around you.
“Darling, it’s freezing tonight,” Severus remarked. “I would hate for you to fall ill.”
An extra layer of warmth was added when Severus joined you in sitting at the end of the dock. His body heat was much more than yours as his radiated to you through the thickness of the blanket. It was greatly appreciated, because you hadn’t realized how cold you had actually become.
“I’m okay.” You returned without offering any more of a ticket to a real conversation.
Severus didn’t mind the quiet. In many scenarios, he preferred it. His introverted nature thrived off of it. Silence allowed time for self-reading and understanding, which he was all for.
However, he didn’t like this silence. This silence wasn’t the good kind.
His legs were folded under one another rather than planted on the boards. His lanky legs would be too crammed if they were bunched up at his own chest. His hands were clasped together in the open space of his lap, his forearms resting on his thighs as he scanned over the view in front of him.
The landscaping of Hogwarts always looked so depressing during the winter months. But in its own way, it was beautiful. It was typically blanketed with snow and ice, little flurries and snowflakes fluttering from the gray skies.
His vision didn’t remain on the landscape long, however. His sight eventually diverted to you, which was what he was more interested in.
He saw the way the stars twinkling above reflected off of the glassy sheen over your eyes. Those very same stars above were the ones that he often described as being trapped behind your eyes with the way that they stunned him when he looked into them. It hurt his heart to know that it had been far too long since he had seen those dancing stars in your eyes. He missed that.
He missed you. He wanted you back.
“I know that reminding you of this isn’t necessary…but darling, wishing on a star won’t change what happened.” Severus’ words cut through the still beats that had passed and disappeared into the past.
His voice wasn’t cruel or unsympathetic. Just the opposite actually. He knew where you were right now, and what you were feeling.
“I know.” You answered, the hurt dripping off of your words.
The desperation for relief to be delivered to your heart was unlike anything you had ever experienced in your life. It was a pressure in your chest that damn near made it impossible to focus or feel anything else. It was so beyond uncomfortable. It was inescapable no matter what you did to try to get away from it. It had seeped through you and over you to the point where you weren’t even sure who you were anymore.
How were you supposed to live like that?
“No one in your life, including myself, expects anything from you right now,” He went on once he got the sense that you were warming up to talking. “No one expects you to be okay. It’s a plain statement, but it’s all right if you’re not okay.”
He knew that you weren’t okay. Everybody knew. Severus never wanted to tell you (or anyone for that matter) what you should feel. He knew that you needed to figure it out for yourself.
Because that’s where real, fruitful healing came from.
“I feel so confused....amongst other things.” You confessed.
“Understandable. You’re navigating a rather bewildering path.” He encouraged you to keep talking.
He wanted you to get better. He wanted to see you thrive and be the happiest that you could ever be. This was the first time in the weeks that had passed that you sounded like you wanted that too.
“I just....I just don’t know what to do.” You answered with full transparency, a crack sneaking into your sentence as you turned to look at him.
Tears had formed and come forth in your eyes. It hurt him to see it, but in a way it was a relief because he knew that you were feeling something.
“You don’t have to know. It’s more than okay to take each day minute by minute,” He shifted closer, taking a bit of an initiative to wrap his arm around you and pull you into him. “But this? When you keep it to yourself, it only makes it worse and pulls you down with it.”
He was right. You knew it. You weren’t going to get better by not dealing with it at all. Moving on without attempting to patch the wound would only come back to haunt you later. You wanted to do this right. You needed to do this right.
“I feel too far gone. I don’t know if I can ever feel okay again.” You admitted, double lines of tears streaming your face as they left a stinging chill on your cheeks.
“You can. You absolutely can,” He encouraged, even a little bit desperately. “I know you can.”
That statement brought a sound out of you that Severus had been longing for so dearly. As weak as it was, hearing you laugh brought a firework of joy exploding into his chest.
“You have far too much faith in me.” You joked, and he returned a smile.
“I have to disagree. I have just the right amount,” He said. “I’m here for you. Just say the word and consider it done.”
“I want to be here for you in whatever way you wish. Just say the word and consider it done.” He said.
Your first request actually surprised him a bit. He had expected you to play shy and turn down his offer or even ask for more advice. Instead, you asked for something much sweeter and much needed.
“Kiss me?”
And kiss you he did. It was the most uplifting, comforting kiss that he’d ever given you. It spoke a thousand words and pumped him full of more hope with each passing second. You were going to be okay. You’d be happy once again and you’d be stronger than you ever were. He’d be back to throwing flour on you when he cooked meals and chasing after you around his house dripping wet and naked after you stole his towel from the bathroom counter.
Life was going to return to the way it was. He was going to be able to love the  woman that he loved so dearly even harder now. You were going to come back to him. He had all the patience in the world waiting for that.
Because you were worth everything.
