Wild and Hyrule cuddles
"Solved it!" Wild finished arranging rocks in Hyrule's puzzle, forming a five pointed star. The fae magic wisped off the puzzle, dancing in little green sparkles.
"I owe you a prize." Hyrule smiled. He liked these games with Wild. Designing challenges was fun, and Wild was a fun player to watch. He would approach a puzzle from every which way, trying solutions Hyrule would have never dreamed of. It could get hilarious how convoluted an answer Wild could cook up when presented with a task as simple as "put the rock in the middle of the circle of other rocks."
"My prize is hugs!" Wild declared. Another reason Hyrule liked playing with Wild is he was a very gracious winner. He never asked for much, and always tried to get a "prize" that both of them would enjoy. Sometimes he'd win the right to cook them both dinner, or a nice walk together exploring The Lost Woods, or even just a high five if he didn't want to dedicate too much time to it.
Hyrule knelt down in the dirt next to Wild, circling his arms around his friend and squeezing. Wild made sure to krep his form physical so Hyrule didnt fall through. Hugs with Wild were always nice; his magic was so familiar it felt like home.
"Rulie roll!" Wild grabbed back and pulled Hyrule onto the ground, putting them both through the dirt and getting mud on their clothes.
"Noooooo! Now we're going to have to take a bath or Four won't let us back inside." Hyrule exaggerated a pout, though he could barely hide his giggles.
"I won the hugs, I say how they happen!" Wild smiled, eyes bright. "Besides, you can procrastinate the bath with more hugs!"
Hyrule snorted, laying his head on Wild's chest. Wild wasn't as clever as he thought he was, but Hyrule wouldn't say no to some cuddles in the garden.

i know the creators of worlds beyond number have been clear that they're not exploring a world with our real-life social strata
but that does not exempt *us the audience* from the biases and blindspots of our real-life social strata
every time i see a post that implies that suvi is uniquely unkind or arrogant, or more annoying than either of the other PCs, or that it's the presence of ame and eursalon that influence her towards humanity, i have to wonder if the poster is projecting onto a confident Black woman
the same thing happened with laerryn. xerxes was *actively courting a destroyer god* out of grief for his love, but we had sympathy for him. laerryn went to dizzying extremes trying to save her love, and we get:
"but laerryn cast blight on the tree!" "but suvi was trying to fight orima!" yeah, aabria is an excellent player who makes internally consistent character choices that drive the plot and drama of the whole game forward. stories without conflict aren't going to keep your attention, y'all should be thanking her for telling a good story
in other words: she should not need to be sweet and humble for you to empathize or understand or refrain from public judgment of her character. she should not have to make herself smaller for you to accept her persona.
interrogate your instinct to be publicly critical of her characterization and choices - is it really coming from an honest place, or are you letting some well-established biases that we're all indoctrinated into warp your perception of what all of the PCs are doing? a good indicator: do you extend the same level of critique to all of the characters, or just the one making choices you personally don't vibe with?
it's important for us the audience to be aware of how we participate in the ecosystem of storytelling. we're not just here to consume content for our own gratification. we also have to be good, thoughtful, active listeners.

Kelpies and Nuckelavees
Whump Rating: 4/5 (mainly for violence to the monster) TW: Injury, violence and gore to a monster, mention of blood
This AU belongs to @dark-angel-of-muses! It's based on Scottish mythology. Twilight is a kelpie, Legend is a selkie, Wild is a ghost, and Ravio is an ace succubus. I encourage you to check it out; but you shouldn't need further context to enjoy this.
Kelpies have a reputation for danger. They stalk the riverways, luring children and travelers onto their backs to drown them. Wailing from the river heralds incoming storms. They could even summon floods to sweep away travelers.
In Twilight’s opinion, most of the rumors are horse dung. He doesn’t stalk the river, he lives in it. Where else would a kelpie go? Land houses mean little to a water horse. He gives Legend a warning of storms if there’s a shift in the water temperature, but that is common sense, not magic. And summoning floods? He’s never conjured an ounce of extra water in his life.
Twilight is content to live in the river, giving rides to the children who visit the banks. In exchange, they give him gifts and offerings filled with gratitude magic. There is no need to eat human flesh when what they offer freely is so sweet.
In his wolf form, he is free to roam as far as he likes. He generally keeps to visiting Legend’s house; Ravio will scratch his ears in just the right spot, tail winding around his.
Wild keeps him company; as happy out of the water as in. Sometimes he'll drift off to visit Legend alone. Other times, the two will set out along the river, exploring up and down the banks. There are all sorts of interesting magical surprises to find.
Yet no matter how docile he acts—how sweetly he hies his fangs—Twilight is still a kelpie. And when it came to protecting those he loved? There is no challenge he wouldn’t face.
“Have you noticed anyone strange hanging around the shop?” Twilight shakes his head, tossing hair and seaweed out of his face.
“Strange? What do you mean?” Legend tracks Ravio, who has his pelt slung over his shoulders. He’s playing with Wild, although from here it’s unclear what the game is.
“There’s a scent lingering around your house. I noticed it as Wolfie. It doesn’t go into the yard; Hyrule’s puzzles probably scare it off. But it’s thick enough to be a worry.”
“Fae? Hylian?”
Twilight shrugs, shifting a few inches closer to the water. He doesn’t need to be in it, but the call of the river is a low hum along his senses. “Can’t tell. Wanted to see if you noticed anyone hanging around.”
Legend shakes his head. “I haven’t, but I’ll keep an eye out. Thanks for the warning.”
“Of course.”
They stand together, watching Ravio’s tail wave in delight as he picks up rocks along the bank and holds them out to Wild. The selkie softens when Ravio glances back at him and waves. Then the succubus skips up the beach and presses into Legend’s side.
“Hi, Twi! Wild was telling me about some of the exploring you’ve been doing!”
“It’s fun to explore the river bank. This is a deep river for—well, as far as we’ve gone, so there’s plenty to explore. Glaciers carved out these paths eons ago.
Ravio rolls his eyes. “You’re making that up.”
“I swear! Wild told me.”
This gets a flat look from Legend. “And you believe everything Wild tells you?”
Twilight shrugs and grins.
“He told Rav that he should try feeding on lightning to understand how peppers test.”
The kelpie’s smile fades slightly. “I stand by my statement, even if I regret it.”
Wild joins them at the sound of laughter and thoughts of mysterious visitors are forgotten.
The scent is back. Wolfie sniffs as he circles Legend and Ravio’s house. It tingles against his senses, even in this form. The charms and protection spells are slowly layering into a stronger barrier. It won’t keep out everyone, but it’s enough to make a fae think twice about breaking in.
Whoever is leaving this scent certainly knows so. The path circles the property; sometimes dipping closer and sometimes edging away. Yet this time, the scent is strong in his nose as it leads away. Whoever was here left recently.
Wolfie glances at the house one more time, then sets off, nose to the trail. Until now there’s never been a strong enough trail to follow before it’s lost to the overlapping scents of visitors. The trail leads deeper inland and quickly straightens. Whoever this is, they know where they are going.
The countryside is beautiful in the moonlight. The grass under his paws springs back with each step. The air is rich with the lush smell of greenery, along with the path he follows. The scent of a rabbit crosses the path and the wolf pauses for a moment, before continuing.
The trail continues strong, leading ever deeper inland. A faint twinge of worry starts to build. In wolf form, the call of the water is even less than as a human or kelpie. But even a wolfish curse can’t erase the magic of his blood. Water flows through his veins. The further he goes, the more it prickles.
He’s starting to question his decision to come out this far when the scent veers into a dell. Wolfie nearly stumbles over his paws as his body catches up to his nose. Ears pricked, he heads into the dell.
It’s small—just a dip between high hills. A structure is built half into the hillside, made of branches and sticks. Something that might have once been thatch covers the top as a makeshift roof.
It’s…well, hovel is a word that comes to mind. Wolfie tries not to judge people on where they live; not everyone is blessed with cool, clear waters. But this? It reeks of disuse and age. Whoever is living here is a recent addition.
Warily, the wolf creeps up to the entrance. It’s dark inside, even for his eyes. The scent he’s been following is stronger now and it mixes with others. Herbs, old earth, and arcane spells.
Wolfie freezes and looks down. His paw is just inside a magic circle. Hidden under a thin layer of dirt, it now glows faintly with magic as it activates. He pulls back but is unable to move. The spell holds him frozen.
“Well, it seems I’ve caught myself a meal.” From the darkness extends a hand. The arm is too long and—oh, muscles flex over white bone. It has no skin.
Wolfie whines and pulls backward, but his paw is trapped. His muscles tremble with the effort of trying to move.
“None of that. I’ll be taking this bracelet, even if you’ve managed to wrap up a curse with it.” The fingers, too nimble for their size, unhook the silver chain around his paw.
A kelpie’s servitude is tied to the silver bridle of their horse form. When in human form, it sits as a necklace against his breastbone. As a wolf, it forms a bracelet on his paw. The curse hangs from it. The magic is too entangled to unweave and he’s grown used to roaming as a wolf.
The crystal, however, needs to be on his body to keep his wolf form. The moment it’s unlatched, the curse magic releases its grip on his body. The change, unprompted by Wolfie, tears over his limbs. His howl of pain morphs into an equine scream, then a human one.
By the time he’s stuffed back into a body, Twilight is shaking. His hand is still trapped in the magic circle. The kelpie form pulses in the surge of water through his veins, but he’s too far inland. The shift to human was instinctual to protect himself.
The bracelet vanishes into the darkness. A moment later, the magical shackles tied to it lock firmly around his body. The magic under his palm dims, then vanishes. Twilight skitters back on instinct, teeth bared.
Out of the darkness, the creature finally emerges.

Here's Wild! He's a ghost and can phase between solid, liquid, gas, plasma, and not of this realm! He likes phasing through physical objects to play pranks (especially on Legend) A drabble of Ghost Wild under the cut!
"So how'd you die?" Legend was being held hostage, Wild having taken up residence across his lap like a cat. Ravio was hanging off his shoulder, half-sitting on the arm of the chair Legend was confined to from his two wardens.
"Goddesses above, Legend! You can't just ask someone how they died," Wild teased, all giggles.
"Fine, don't tell me."
"Nay, thy have invoked the ancient Magick. I must answer any time someone asks me. Sadly, this is a tale of love, loss, and why you should never try shield surfing over lava."
Legend snorted. Little shit. Wild grinned, going further.
"Once I was meditating naked in the rain, but I forgot to put away my metal sword when the lightning rolled in."
"I attacked a bokoblin camp and tried eating their cooking."
"Once I jumped from a tree, but I forgot the cloth of my glider was at the tailor."
Legend rolled his eyes. He couldn't complain, he was the one who started the game after all. Ravio snuffled into the crook of Legend's shoulder, purring into the tiny shakes of laughter.

THE FAIRYLAND
CHAPTER 1
Minervia sips her tea as she reads the letter that had just arrived. She looks out of the window where she was sitting in the drawing room. The cottage mansion was there home for the spring and summer months in Scotland. She sighed a heavy sigh as she shook her head sadly. Her Husband Lord Demitrius walked into the room. Demitrius "What's to your disliking my dear. We may have just arrived 4 days ago, but it is our home. Please I pray you to tell me what troubles you, my love?" Minervia Our troublesome daughter Genevieve I'm afraid. It doesn't help that my grandfather fills her head with those silly stories as well. We are the laughingstock of all of London and England thanks to her. Her tomboy ways are not on and yet no matter how hard we try to teach her how to be a proper lady she does the opposite even more. She brings bad reputation to this family. No wonder the suitors we had picked for her turned her down. Demitrius Have the Amish writing back yet my dear? Minervia Yes and they are willing to take her to marry one of the young lads that are of age. A {looks at the letter} Mister Noah Peachey is to be her husband and force her out of her rebellious ways. *Demitrius* Sounds like a lovely chap. This shall fix our daughters ways and make her see common sense at last. Neighing can be heard as they look out of the window and see Genevieve ridding without her bonnet or skirts or corset and without a side saddle galloping into the yard. She slows her horse down as the stable hands come out to take the horse into the stables. She jumps down pats her horse thanks, the stable hands then wearing pants and a lose cotton top and boots walks into the house. Minervia Genevieve comes here please now Genevieve sighs deeply as she walks into the room her hair a mess and wild. Yes Mother, Father? Demitrius Your Mother and I have something to tell you. Genevieve If this is about my ridding like this, I have to tell you.... Demitrius puts hand up to stop her talking* We will discuss your ridding clothes latter. This is more important. Your Mother has received a very important letter today. Genevieve looks at Minervia From whom? Minervia We are embarrassed and the laugh of all of England thanks to you. You have shamed this family deeply and we had enough. We have come to decision to marry you off to theses religious people called the Amish. You soon to be husband is on a ship as we speak to come here in 2 weeks' time. His name is Noah Peachey, and you are to wed him and become his Amish wife. You have no say in this Genevieve. Genevieve looks at them shock and beyond mad at this* You can't do this to me. I will not marry these Amish men that I have never met. Demitrius That's enough girl. Now hold your tongue like a proper lady would. We have had it with your rebellious ways and tomboy style. It is. not proper of a young lady like yourself to have. By marrying Noah Peachey, you will become his wife and will have a strict and rebel free life and do you dam good to be wed to a stricter man then your sisters. Look how they turned out proper and Lady like expect you. As for you ridding clothes we be taking them off you and replacing all you stuff with what Amish ladies have. Its time you pay for you rebellious ways girl. Genevieve yelling at them while crying I HATE YOU BOTH!!! YOU'RE RUINING MY LIFE!!! I WILL NOT MARRY THIS STRICT SNOB!!! NOT NOW NOT EVER!!!! *Demitrius fed up and angry* Silence you ungrateful girl. That is not how a lady like you are meant to talk to males at all. You are to be seen but not heard. *Genevieve angry and yelling* NO YOU SNOOBY MALES ARE TO BE SEEN AND NOT HEARD!!! I HATE YOU ALL!!! {runs out of the room and up the stairs into the bedroom slamming the door extra hard as she collapses onto the bed sobbing her heart out}

Can I request SAGAU with reader coming into Teyvat but being very hush hush about it and they get a job at Wangshu inn or something but one day they end up cutting themselves and boom golden blood? Sorry if this is too specific
Don’t apologize, I love this idea!
I have so many ideas for this one ranging from crack to angst hskakdk
Let’s say that all the documents about the creator have vague descriptions so they aren’t too sure about your appearance. The only key signs of being the creator are golden blood and crystal like tears.
I hope you like it! I think this may be my first request ^.^
Yandere!SAGAU x Secret!Creator!Reader Part 1
Your arrival to Teyvat is sudden. One second you had fallen asleep at your desk after a long night. The next second you lift your head and you’re in a completely new environment.
Surrounded by greens and vegetables you note you’re on some sort of farm. You warily get off the ground, dusting off the dirt from your clothes. You look around hoping to figure out where and how you had ended up in this unfamiliar place.
However, what catches your eyes in the dimly lit farm, is a little glowing blue figure floating wispily.
A seelie?
Your heart drops and your eyes squint through the dark taking in more of your surroundings. Your eyes finally land on a large statue in the distance.
Your thoughts are confirmed as you drop to your knees, eyes locked on a Geo Statue of the Seven.
You’ve read the stories, you know what happens.
“Hello? Who is out there?” a shaky voice calls out. You want to get up and run but the shock kept you in place.
An old man makes his way over, holding a lantern over you. The light illuminates your worry-stricken face. Thoughts run wild in your head as the old man helps you into his home.
Not wanting to risk being chased by all these powerful characters thinking you’re an imposter, while also afraid of being confined by obsessive acolytes, you think it’s best that your arrival to Teyvat is kept a secret.
The farmer that found you, a widowed man with no offspring, decides to take you in. To avoid feeling like a burden, you help out the old man in anyway you can, starting with farming. As if the land is trying to show their love for you, the vegetables you plant grow absurdly quick. They grow larger than the farmer had ever seen before. Vegetables farmed by your hand come out with the perfect texture and consistency. To the farmer, you’re like an angel descended from the skies.
It isn’t long before the old farmer’s business booms with the best vegetables in the market. However, he’s become too old and it’s become too difficult for him to transport all of these vegetables from his isolated little home to the shops down in Liyue Harbor.
You volunteer to do it for him. It’s the least you could do in return for him letting you stay rent free. Despite your willingness, you still can’t fight the anxiousness that comes with traveling in Teyvat.
The first time you enter Liyue Harbor, your hands are so sweaty you nearly drop the boxes of vegetables you are holding. Staying the whole day to sell vegetables in Liyue Harbor means that you are exposed. But when you finally came across your favorite characters, you realize you worried for nothing.
You first meet the Traveler and Paimon. The exchange is simple. They buy a few of your vegetables then leave to Wanmin restaurant to use the stove to cook some meals.
Then you meet Xiao. One day, a group of Hilichurl’s almost attack you while you are transporting goods to Liyue Harbor. He quickly wipes them out while you hide behind the cart you are pushing. Xiao simply looks at you for no more than 5 seconds before disappearing.
After that, the worry of your face being recognized begins to fade. If it weren’t for your oddly golden blood, you would have forgotten that you’re the creator.
You become accustomed to living life in Teyvat. It is peaceful. No exams or deadlines. Such simple tasks done day by day. You spend one day farming and the next transporting vegetables. You sit at your little shop selling items before heading home and helping out the old man. It’s not super easy but it’s a lot less stressful than your life before.
Everyday you get to bask in the sunlight and enjoy fresh air while you admire the scenery you had only ever seen through a screen. You are content and happy.
Until one day you accidentally make the smallest mistake.
Xiangling is a regular of yours. Your vegetables are by far the best she’s ever had and you quickly become her source of ingredients for her dishes. She speaks so highly of you that Zhongli, one of the characters you fear most, decides to drop by your little shop.
His presence is intimidating with his golden eyes peering down at you and his tall stature towering over your little stall.
Despite his slightly domineering presence, his voice is as smooth and soothing as you remember it to be and you’re able to calm down enough to treat him like any of your other customers. You’ve already met many characters and none of them were able to recognize you. How could he be any different?
Except he’s not like the others.
He’s nearly 6000 years old. He’s seen things others haven’t and most importantly, he’s worshipped the existence of the creator far longer than any of the Liyue Citizens have been alive.
From the very beginning, he sensed that there was something different about you. Something familiar and oddly inviting. The former Geo Archon thought he knew everyone residing in Liyue but it’s his first time coming across you.
His eyes can’t help but follow your every move as you wrap up his box of vegetables. You finally finish tying up his box with some sturdy rope and grab a knife to cut off the long ends. Just as you’re cutting the rope, your hand slips.
The sharp knife slices shallowly into your opposite hand. Zhongli is only barely able to catch a glimpse of gold before you drop to the floor.
It isn’t the pain that’s brought you to your knees but the fear. You crouch over your hands, covering the wound as best as you can hoping with all your being that he hasn’t seen anything.
Both you and Zhongli can feel your hearts beating faster than ever before.
“Are you alright?”
The former Geo Archon attempts to walk over to the other side of the stall, when he hears the Traveler call his name. His attention wavers and it gives you just enough time to wipe your blood away and stuff the handkerchief into your pocket.
Zhongli glances at you amidst his conversation just to see you finish covering your wound with a bandage. Any trace of blood is gone and the wound is completely covered.
He walks away from the Traveler to speak with you. The geo archon’s eyes never once leave your hand as he stands in front of you.
“Is your wound alright?”
You nod waving your hand a little.
“Just a small wound,” you say, hoping he’d accept your answer and move on.
But he isn’t satisfied.
“Are you sure? It look like it hurt. It’s important to put some cream on it so it doesn’t get infected.”
“Of course! I’m a lot stronger than you think.” You smile before repeating his total. The Traveler ends up paying for the vegetables and the two leave, but not without Zhongli glancing a few more times at you.
When his figure completely fades, your smile drops.
It seems you’ve stayed a bit too long in Liyue.
Shaky hands clumsily pack up your stall as you race to close up the shop early and quickly head home before the Geo Archon decides to return.
While you rush, you don’t notice the small white handkerchief falling out of your pocket nor do you realize that the small piece of cloth would be the sole cause of the upcoming chaos that erupts throughout the nations of Teyvat.
