Hey! I hope you're doing well.
So you covered a lot of the shows Livvy and Maggie watched as little girls but what about mom and dad? Do they watch a lot of TV ? I'm asking because I'm on my probably 16th friend's rewatch and it came to me if Chrissy liked the show 🤷🏻‍♀️
I’m hanging in there! How are you?
ooo I like this ask!
They’re both definitely more movie people, just because of how busy they are, but I think Chrissy would totally love Friends and I bet gets snuggled in with wine to watch it after the girls go to bed. Total comfort show for her. I love how she could probably see herself in both Rachel and Monica. She would love Buffy and Sabrina the Teenage Witch too. Oh and Beauty and the Beast the series! She eats that up.
Eddie honestly would get more invested in the girls’ shows to be honest 😆 you know he meanders into the living room, acting like he’s busy, but actually just watching cartoons when X-men, Batman the Animated Series or Gargoyles are on. I could see him loving that Redwall series on PBS.
They probably both get invested in shows like The West Wing, Twin Peaks, X-Files, Law and Order, etc. I could also see them watching Hercules, Xenon: Warrior Princess, Stargate and Highlander together.
Thanks for the fun ask, babes! 🤍

❤️📺Ten (ish) TV-shows I love❤️📺
Tagged by the lovely @renai-chan to do the 'Ten Movies I love' Tag Game.
I already did that, so allow me to redirect you to this post listing my ten movies, and this other one (a much much much much longer version, if you feel up to it).
However, after reflecting about which 10 movies I like the best –what a dilemma it was– I also thought about which 10 TV-shows are my comfort rewatches. I came up easily (surprisingly so) with the selection, so let me share that with you instead! 😊 ❤️
Xena: Warrior Princess
Tumblr media
The most badass warrior I have ever seen on TV. What a sight is Lucy Lawless, I fell in love with those gorgeous blue eyes since the moment my child eyes saw them… This tv-show is everything to me. Xena & Gabrielle, the purest soulmates. There were also lots of amazing characters and actors (Karl Urban and Kevin Smith, among others). Produced in New Zealand too… Which is so awesome! <3 (Strong opening theme!)
Stargate SG1/Atlantis
Tumblr media
MY FUCKING SCI-FY babies!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I can’t even tell you why I love these two TV-shows, because I got so overwhelmed about it! I. JUST. LOVE. THEM. SO. MUCH! (I actually watched several Stargate Atlantis episodes just before typing this list.) If you like the genre, GO.WATCH.THESE! (Amazing opening themes as well! <3)
Sabrina, the Teenage Witch (the 20-min-episode tv-show)
Tumblr media
I’ve watched every rerun on TV since it has been broadcasted. It is tied to my childhood, so I’m rather attached to it! I prefer this version over the more recent one, which is a bit too dark compared to the comedic one. Salem is so funny! He’s I-C-O-N-I-C! :P
Dr Quinn, Medicine Woman/// House MD
Tumblr media Tumblr media
My absolute two favourite tv-shows involving doctors… though they are very different from one another. Western drama vs. medical drama. It’s really not your typical medical show however.
A female physician from a 19th-wealthy family moving in the wild west to establish a practice. She feels very deeply and has a strong moral compass. The themes mentioned are quite serious (which I like) as you have, for instance, a close-minded-white-men little village, a woman working a man job, Cheyenne tribes being mistreated so are the black people and any other non-White people. Of course, it is still a tv-show, so I don’t how historically-accurate it is. But so not as sappy as Grey’s Anatomy if you know what I mean. 😊
AND the Sherlock doctor. Hugh Laurie is magnificent in this out-of-the-ordinary, junkie, snarky genius of a doctor!
Avatar: the Last Airbender
Tumblr media
Do I really need to spell it? MASTER OF THE ELEMENTS. AIRBENDING. WATERBENDING. FIREBENDING. EARTHBENDING. THIS IS SO FREAKING COOL!!!!!! The Legend of Korra is good too!
White Collar
Tumblr media
The adventures of an FBI agent and his con artist/thief consultant. YUP. It is as cool as it sounds. All the characters are lovely as well!
Downton Abbey
Tumblr media
THIS IS MY FAVOURITE BRITISH PERIOD DRAMA EVER. It is about the aristocratic Crawley family and their servants’ life during the earliest 20th century. The cast is realllllllllllllly good! A lot of good characters, strong episodes (very emotional sometimes)! Dame Maggie Smith is killing it as the Dowager Countess of Grantham, the sass in this character’s lines and faces!!!!! XD (Again, the opening theme is SO GOOD!)
Once Upon a Time
Tumblr media
A very nice tv-show where fairytales characters are transported into the real world because of a curse. The cast is INSANE! :O Nice revisit of famously known fairytales!!!! I have a thing for the accents…Well, there are a lot of different accents to listen to!
Lucifer
Tumblr media
It’s probably one of the last (new-ish) TV-show I’ve watched from the beginning to the end. The British (again with the accent) Devil’s adventures with the Detective (yeah… it’s her official name! XD). Very good chemistry between Tom Ellis and Lauren German! And the other characters are equally as good!!!!!!!!!
Prison Break
Tumblr media
Season 1 was the best. Truly. The idea was so original when the tv-show came out! Wentworth Miller’s acting is pure *chef’s kiss*. (That’s why I love Captain Cold so much btw, especially because Dominic Purcell is also his Rogues buddy in The Flash). Also, I’ve never loved the crookiest of the crook characters so much than how I love T-Bag. He’s the worst, but OMG his lines and mimicking (Robert Knepper did a fine job!)
As I already did the tagging before, I won’t do it again, but I let this open. Anyone feeling like talking about their comfort TV-shows are more than welcomed to do this “other version” of the tag game! 😉

So i've just stumbled upon match ups and I'm here for this concept!! Bit of fun and all that, in the spirit of reader shipping i'd love a Hobbit/LOTR/HP/Marvel match up - lover of many fandoms here!
I'm late 20s, mid size, petite. Ashy blonde/true summer season who's an Aquarius and ENFJ. Have been compared to Chloe Grace Moretz and Abigail Breslin by people which I always find a weird combo but guess it somehow works for me.
London based but split my time in New York, Dublin, and Sydney because my family is all over. Appriciative of all kinds of culture - firmly believe that we all have to eat, find ways to enjoy ourselves in life, and eventually die so why not learn about different customs and travel to experience them.
Still love my comforts though - not afraid of out there art (Poor Things is currently my fave film in the Oscars race) and was raised on the 90s Sabrina The Teenage Witch. It's a fine line between having compassion and complaining and I walk that line well. I'm serious when i'm serious but embrace being silly. Ironic sense of humour, including dark jokes but can be sensitive at times. A realist with my head in the clouds and aware of it, if that makes sense! I know how to focus and dedicate myself to getting things done but firmly believe there is nothing wrong with wanting to be taken care of at the end of the day, balance is important.
In love i'm playful and poetic but don't hold back in saying how I really feel about a person. Definitely someone who rambles and overshares with my partner but incredibly observing and loyal to who i'm with. Building up the other person is important and self care is too - i'm always up front if I need to go off and spend time alone or with friends but my husband is my best friend hands down.
So curious as to what pairings you can come up with!
I ship you with Sirius!

Thanks for leaving me some fanfiction asks too!!
How long ago did you start reading or writing fanfiction? Damn, I had to been when I was around about twelve or maybe thirteen. I don't know if anyone remembers the-ndotcom message boards, various Degrassi message boards (mainly Degrassi boards aka DB, anyone around, I honestly doubt it?), and of course, fanfictiondotnet my online life in the mid-2000s.💗
When I was third grade, I remember writing things that resembled fanfiction. Typically based off of some shows I saw (such as Sabrina the teenage Witch, TGIF line up was awesome) or books I read like The Boxcar Children or Junie B, for these writing journal prompts for school the teacher would assign us. When I say it's all cringe and embarrassing as hell, Let's just say I'm glad no evidence of that writing existed. That wasn't even the tip of the iceberg there, I also wanted to *be* a friggin' author. I'd even include these cheesy bios for each 'book' I would make for myself bc I'd always see them in books I read in childhood.
Fast forward to 2003, my first fanfiction (when I knew I was writing fanfiction) was a doozy for Degrassi written about Sean, Craig, and Emma in some weird season 2 timeline with a love triangle, an ill-fated camping trip, Sean's newly sober mother made an appearance in the form of a camp organizer desperate to reconnect with her son and bring him home much to his chagrin, and other things I forgot about and wouldn't wanna think much on. I was basically winging it. I'm afraid it's gone. I had notebooks and notebooks filled with stories around this time.
10. Worst writing habits? Abandoning and giving up without a doubt. A horrid habit that becomes tempting when I get writer's block, and then I just start the hell over and make something totally new and forget about it drop it like a bad habit, and the cycle comes back around like a shitty boomerang. I then will read the old one months or even years later and be filled with regret or have five million new ideas for said abandoned story. Maybe then I rework it in the future someday or in a whole dif story which has been done before. I am already my own worst critic, but I hate super flaming, negative criticism that shit doesn't help anyone except be tempted to give up.
Some fic I abandoned needed to be, such as the Zoemund vehicle in a weird alternate season thirteen titled The Starlet and Dealer. Not that I need to explain myself, but I didn't feel right writing something portraying a couple with literally no chance on any planet, not even interested in men on the whole didn't make much sense. Also who would read that considering all that? It's available on fanfictiondotnet who cares? I moved on it's never gonna have an ending.
Backtrack has more of a chance of getting an ending, and yes, it's an *almost* ten-year-old fic, just saying.😄😄😄
Another habit is simply beating myself up, comparing myself and just simply hating on myself which I gotta stop doing. Honorable mention, stuff like not being in the mood to write, or getting too much on my plate and then not writing.
15. One-shots or multi-chapters? Multichapters Angst? Yes. Fluff? Yes. Smut? I'm not that brave ha, not for a lack of trying. I usually do the ol' Disney-style cut away. I'm so lame. Hurt/comfort? Yes. Fantasy? Nah. Romance? My bread and butter🥰. Which one is your favorite? Hmm I'd say romance with multiple chapters all the way! Which one is your least favorite? My least favorite is when the protag gets pregnant and the whole story is just fucked after that because it just doesn't interest me. It's just so unoriginal and a little predictable. Unpopular or popular opinion who cares, not every love story or romance ends with a baby or a pregnancy 🤷‍♀️. I'm down for a wedding that would be something fun to tackle in writing. No, really though, out of the listed, I'd say I don't care for fantasy.
16. What’s your favorite headcanon or trope? For semma related fic's stories, I like incorporating things such as emphasis on photographs, flashbacks to past events, and some other memories from their past relationships with one another or things we didn't get to see. For example, Emma had this little box with moments like movie ticket stubs, Sean's old denim jacket (before he started wearing hoodies), Emma's retired dolphin pants, obviously photographs, a few burned mix CDs, letters, and or notes passed from class, and more miscellaneous items.
As for Emma and Jay another Degrassi pairing I write often, for example, I like including a treehouse motif. It's a long story, but in my invented backstory for Jay, Connie (Fancy) is his mother, She left his father for Mr. Edwards (Darcy and Clare's father) she met at the strip club. They had an affair resulting in pregnancy so there's a drama with that. Obviously, Jay and Darcy clash (naturally) and act like they're not related at school is an arrangement beneficial to both for Darcy's popularity and Jay had a reputation to uphold and also there's Jay's young maybe five year old half-sister from Randall and Connie named Christina affectionately nicknamed Chrissy. Jay resents his mother for leaving their father and making this new family with these stuck-up people he seems to detest and what it did to his father who had fallen in a reclusive depression since their divorce.
Chrissy idolizes Jay and serves as an honorary shipper for Emma and Jay, and sometimes provides comic relief. At Jay's dad's house is where the treehouse comes in, and Jay's super attached to it and his father too who he is still close with. The treehouse is a special spot for Jay. He eventually brings Emma into his world and treehouse, and the setting symbolizes a lot in their relationship. All this lore was created long before Jay or Darcy had a canon backstory or last names purely based on speculation. There's also related Jay/Alex lore about their past relationship, invented things from their dysfunctional childhoods. I also have a host of headcanons for Emma, Manny, and JT's childhood memories growing up together.
For tropes, I dig the first love/true love, mutual pining, enemies to lovers, slow burns, and secret relationships/forbidden love is always fun to write. I recently attempted a fake dating story Faking It/(a03)
This all is a lot of fun to write. Thanks Emma! I hope you also like writing responses to these type of questions! I’m always available and down for more questions about fanfiction! 💌

What I Watched in 2022 (TV)
I was going to fill out a survey about my TV-watching habits, but then I realized...I have a seive-like brain (now more than ever, considering that I watch things almost exclusively on streaming services and have little to no idea what is even currently airing on television), and my time would be better served just organizing the list I more-or-less kept track of throughout the year and trying to make some sense of it.
En...joy?
Current Scripted Shows (2021-22 and/or ‘22-23 season):
Abbott Elementary
Alaska Daily
Blood & Treasure
Ghosts (US version)
Pretty Smart
Severance
Sweet Magnolias
United States of Al
(I’ve got literally 4 ships across all of these shows, plus Densi on the side from NCIS: LA even though I’m not watching it. god. no wonder I feel so parched and/or go so off the rails when I stumble into a good romantic movie these days. or even just a movie with a solid romance in it.)
Current Reality/Game Shows:
The Amazing Race: Season 33 & 34 (but also: on Hulu I binged 23, 25-29, and a rewatch of 31)
Beyond the Edge
The Chase
The Floor is Lava
Jeopardy: the College Tournament of Champions & however much has aired so far of the Celebrity Tournament of Champions
Survivor
The Weakest Link (w/ Jane Lynch)
(WHY AM I THIS ADDICTED TO REALITY AND GAME SHOWS. How old am I. what year is it.)
Older Shows:
Alone (History channel): season 8/Chilko Lake
Bedlam (something British... SkyTV?): season 1
The Chair (Netflix miniseries)
The Circle (Netflix): season 1 & 2
Deadwater Fell (Acorn)
Enlisted (FOX)
The Exes (TV Land)
Fuller House: 1x01-06 (then I got too overwhelmed with joy and needed to save it)
Hit the Floor (VH1): season 1 & 2
Keep Breathing (Netflix miniseries)
Maid (Netflix)
Mythic Quest (AppleTV): 1x02, 1x08-2x04 w/ husband
Ultimate Beastmaster: season 3
Valor (CW)
Rewatches:
Blood and Treasure: season 1
Revolution: 2x13-22
The Office: 8x07-24
Siberia
Ally McBeal: Josh Groban's 2 episodes (which I forgot to post about, dangit)
Community (I lost count because I’m jumping around the series and rarely see more than 2 or 3 in chronological order, but I’ve definitely seen at least 50 of them for the umpteenth time)
Random rewatch episodes in syndication/Netflix:
Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders: Making the Team
Sabrina the Teenage Witch (just 2, but so fun that night)
Wheel of Fortune
King of Queens
Seinfeld
Bonus: One or Two Episode Wonders
(with 1 or 2 exceptions, there was nothing wrong with these shows, I just was like "wow this is good!" and then was too overwhelmed or unable to return)
American Housewife: 1x01-02 (still saved for when I need a comfort-food sitcom)
The Big Leap: 1x01 (I definitely MEANT and WANTED to continue, I was just never Ready)
Camp Snowflake: 1x01 (this one I bailed on purpose; it was awful.)
The I-Land: 1x01 (why does this look so good yet move so slowly and boringly)
The Last Cowboy: 1x01-02 (caught on TV; wish I could have watched more! a reality show about reining horses and their riders? DUDE. unfortunately I could only find this on live TV)
Mr. Mayor: 1x01-02 (Holly Hunter was truly That Repellent huh)
NCIS: LA: 13x08 (oh, wow, I meant to watch at least a couple more highlight eps...but really, I am now a shippy-gifsets-only kind of girl)
Redneck Island: 3x02-03; 1x02-09 (bless you late night syndication and insomnia lmao)
The Terminal List: 1x01 (I really did mean to continue, but then Matt Barr knocked Chris Pratt Owen Grady off the top of Handsome Mountain so now we're waiting until I am back in the groove of finding this man attractive under the right circumstances)
Conclusions:
Favorite show of the year is hands-down bar-none Blood & Treasure, but Abbot Elementary is a close second. The best reality show this year is definitely The Amazing Race. And among the older shows, Maid is fantastic and very much worth your time/my leading favorite among them.
Best comfort-food sitcoms: Ghosts, United States of Al, Family Reunion, Enlisted and The Exes are all a warm delight.
Also, doesn’t qualify as a comfort-food one but Mythic Quest is surprisingly entertaining, for someone who’s never played a MMORPG in her life and whose last video game attempts were done on a PS2. I just hate the language (and Ian).
And all of the rewatches, obviously, sheer perfection. *chef’s kiss*

Part 1
Word count: 1,635
Warnings: none
Zelda Spellman x female witch reader
———————————————————————
It pained you when sudden thoughts about Zelda flickered in your head. Although you decided on leaving for a while, you missed her, Hilda, Ambrose, and Sabrina. The wittiness of Hilda when you came down for breakfast, looking like a complete mess. Sabrina when she was onto something, including you in every step of the way. And Ambrose, when he was fuzzing about the mess his younger cousin had caused again.
The sudden ring of your cell phone tore you out of thoughts. Hilda’s caller ID showed up just as it did the past week. You’ve always been too afraid to pick up, scared of listening to her ranting about you letting her sister marry this man. But unlike the other times, the Brit has called, now you were brave enough to answer the call. Maybe Zelda fulfilled her task and became High Priestess?
„Y/n, I tried to reach you all week” Hilda hastily explained. „I know, I know but-“
„There is no time for explanations, you need to come back. Something’s wrong with Zelda” she cut you off while unsteadily breathing into the speaker.
You hesitated to speak, not being sure what you shall say. You loved the red-headed witch too much to let her suffer. „I’ll be there Hilda,” you said and quickly ended the conversation.
You knew it was about time to go back and fight for your love and show Father Blackwood who’s in charge.
✧ ೃ༄*ੈ✩
It didn’t take long for you to teleport you back to the mortuary, you left a few of your belongings where you’d stayed. You took a deep breath before knocking on the red front door. The familiar scent of your friends home crept up your nose and you started to loosen your tension. „Praise Satan you’re here, come in quick” the British woman rambled and pulled you inside.
„What’s going on?” You asked curiously. „My sister has changed during her honeymoon, it’s just as if she’s under some kind of spell.”
You nodded and hung your coat onto one of the hooks. „She does everything Blackwood asks her, Zelda would do anything to protect our family and now that bloke tries harms us and she just agrees with everything” Hilda explained and you knew immediately what she was trying to say. „And, Ambrose is said to have killed the Anti Pop. Nicholas Scratch helped him get away before Blackwood could lay his hands on him” she added pulling a grimacing face.
„I will go to the academy and inspect the situation myself, we will fix this mess” you tried to reassure her. The witch nodded and led you into the kitchen where the two cousins sat, pondering over how to help her aunt. „You’re back Y/n!” Sabrina exclaimed and hugged you tightly. A smile formed on your lips. Deep down you were happy to be back even though it took you some time to realise.
The darkness slowly came over Greendale and millions of stars peppered the night sky. „I will head to the academy and see what happened to your aunt and in which condition she is” you informed them and drummed your fingers on the tabletop. „Be careful, Blackwood is crazy at the moment. His misogyny went up to a new level” the young witch rambled worriedly. „I’ll take care.”
You grabbed your coat before leaving the house, inhaling the sweet scent that lingered in the house once more.
✧ ೃ༄*ੈ✩
Arriving at the academy, a weird feeling spread in your gut. You entered the school for witches and warlocks, having an exact destination to where you wanted to go. You walked through the halls of the academy searching for either Zelda or Blackwood. A sharp pain shot through your arm when a hand grabbed you and pulled you into a room.
The facet of the person immediately let you know who it was. „Blackwood” you explained and freed yourself from his tight grip. „You ought not to be here” the sharp tone in his voice sent shivers down your spine. „I came to speak to Zelda.”
He eyed me. „Wife!” The High priest yelled and waited impatiently for Zelda to come. Seconds passed before a woman in a flower dress entered the room. „Would you give us a few minutes?” your voice thickly filled with annoyance. The warlock just nodded and left the room.
„Zelds, what happened?”
„I don’t know what you mean?” her voice almost pitching. „Honey, you can tell me” your hand reached for hers. „But there is nothing to tell. If you excuse me now, I ought to make tea for my beloved husband.”
Her words sounded surreal, fake just simply not like Zelda. A hopeless sigh escaped your lips, you should’ve told her how wrong it was to marry that bloke. The only thing to hear was the sound of her music box.
✧ ೃ༄*ੈ✩
„It’s like she’s a doll” you took a sip of water before continuing, „no free will, and devoted to someone she said she’d overthrow.”
Hilda’s gaze wandered through the room. Footsteps echoed through the Spellman house, both of you looked at each other before stepping in the hallway.
You two saw her walking in the kitchen having her hand draped over something. Hilda followed her sister closely. The next thing you heard was high pitched screams from Sabrina who must’ve been in the kitchen. Your legs moved as fast as they could to see what was happening. Zelda stood there, wounding a mouse through the meat grinder. „Aunt Zel, why did you do that? That was our only chance to save Ambrose?” Sabrinas said stunned while her mouth fell agape.
I didn’t know what she was talking about, but surely Leviathan, who now was just a mashed version of itself, played its role in it. „I think I know what’s going on!“ Hilda exclaimed and it looked just as if a light bulb appeared over her head. „Sabrina, you have to get that music box from Zelda’s room in the Academy“ her aunt explained. The teenage witch nodded. Her aunt expected her to leave but that wasn’t the case, she somewhat teleported the box.
Zelda just stood there, staring at the mashed familiar. You couldn’t deny the fact that you were curious about how she teleported a box to her, but you suppressed the thought until you knew what was going on with your toner girlfriend. „Open it up darling” Hilda demanded her niece, „this has to be some kind of Caligari spell.” „What spell?” You asked genuinely interested. „A spell, typically used by old warlocks, to turn their wives into conscious witches aware of every action, yet, unable to make their own choices” the Brit explained and pulled out a photo of the music box.
„Just smash it and our Zelda should be freed from the spell,” Hilda told Sabrina who now held the picture in her hands. With a loud thud, the glass of the frame was broken, leaving a confused Zelda. You saw her facial expression change when she laid eyes on you. „Zelda is it you?” you asked nearly on the verge of tears.
You knew how stupid it was, leaving her alone with the whole situation, telling her she was better off without you. „Y/n...” the woman stuttered not daring to look away from you. You couldn’t contain your happiness and relive of having her back, you stepped closer and hugged her in a hurry. Her hands instantly sneaking around your waist, pressing you close to her body.
„I was an idiot, Zelda Spellman and I am sorry for how I behaved” you whispered in her ear. Her red locks were spreading on your face, you inhaled her scent. „Don’t worry, I must admit it was my fault too. How could I ask my girlfriend if I could marry another guy?" she mumbled in your shoulder and pressed yourself just a little closer to her body. „Alright, lovebirds” Sabrina sighed and let herself fall back on one of the kitchen chairs.
You loosened your hug and drew back to look at her. „Why don’t we get you something proper to wear?” You suggested and eyed her flower dress. „Satan, wearing this dress the whole time, internally drove me mad” Zelda admitted and tugged on the hem of her dress.
You took her hand in yours and softly moved your thumb over her skin. The fiery woman was broken, you saw it in her green eyes. Gently, you pulled her after you, scared she might break if you’d do it more hastily. Arriving in front of her bedroom door, you were hesitant if she’d even want you to come in put she slightly pushed you towards the door. „Don’t blame yourself, you had every right to leave. I wouldn’t want to see how you marry someone else” the witch remarked after a long silence. „I just feel like I could’ve prevented you from the pain,” you told her.
Zelda just shook her head and patted next to her on the bed. You followed her plea and sat next to the witch, staring down at your hands. „I haven’t told you this for weeks now, but I love you,” the older woman said and took your hand into hers. You slowly placed your head on her shoulder. „I love you too, but never ever marry anyone again as long as we are together” you had to add that. „Never” she mouthed before planting soft kisses along your jawline. „As dominant as ever” you giggled before the woman pressed you down on the bed beneath.
The room was filled with ecstasy and lust after Zelda was finished pleasuring you. You snuggled closer to her chest, not daring to leave her side again. Zelda’s red locks covering your face once more, made you feel comfortable with falling asleep. ‘You’ll be there for her on every step of the way, no matter how much strength it may take’ you thought to yourself before sleep hit you.

anon: hi friend ( i hope is okay i call you friend bc i call everyone friend ) i would like to request something for Spencer from Criminal Minds with a reader who has plps? you already wrote about it and did so well so i'd love to read more on that. maybe something wholesome where Spencer and the reader live together (can be romantic or platonic i really don't mind either) and it's just domestic fluffiness with the little hindrances of the disability? I would love that! thank youuuu
the reader is gender neutral and has plp but apart from that any person can read this,
Tumblr media
sorry this request is a bit late! not proof read.
There was a bet going on within the BAU to do with their fellow behavioral analysis Spencer Reid and his long time friend and room mate (y/n) (l/n).
It was a simple bet that Derek Morgan and Penelope Garcia had started way back in the early days when Gideon and Elle were still around. Everyone knew that (y/n) and Spencer would eventually end up together, people were just betting on when they would realise there love for each other.
Even with members of the team leaving and new members arriving, everyone joined in on the bet. Even Hotch had money on it.
Of course Spencer knew of the bet.
However, he couldn’t fathom the idea of him and his best friend romantically together. Maybe it was because Spencer had been friends with them for so many years or maybe it was because he was already in love with them without even realising it.
Regardless of what it was, someone was going to win the bet and a lot of money was going to be won.
.
.
You lie across the sofa, your right leg numb, on the tv is a repeat of a show you like. Your neck aches as you watch the flashing screen.
The flicker of the screen covers your face in pale light in the darkening room. The sun is setting and your work clothes are still on,
The click of the front door to your shared flat catches your attention, your roommate and longtime friend Spencer Reid walking through.
‘(Y/n)? Are you ok?’ Spencer calls as he neatly arranges both yours and his shoes in row, he flicks on the main light of the flat.
‘Just my leg.’ you lift your arm up, waving above the sofa for Spencer to see.
Place his belongings down on a side table he walks over to you to sit on the sofa. You shift your body upwards, sitting up, he sits down close to you.
‘Having fun watching Sabrina the teenage witch?’
‘I was watching (show) but now it’s just Sabrina, I don’t mind it though.’ you voice is hoarse and tired sounding.
Spencer can tell straight away that something has happened at work.
‘What’s happened?’ He makes you look at him as he asks.
You mutter something which Spencer doesn’t hear the first time around.
‘Pardon, can you repeat that?’ he has such a kind and caring look on his face which just makes you speak up.
‘I feel over at work in front of everyone.’ your face is all scrunched up like an upset child, ‘And the new guy laughed at me.’
You start babbling about how no one had informed the new guy of your plp and how he thought it was really funny when you, as he put it, ‘comically tripped over.’
Spencer through out the rant comforts you with kind words. As you talk the feeling comes back into your leg. You stop talking and look at the handsome man in front of you,
‘Do you want a hug?’ Spencer asks knowing that you will gladly take one.
You wrap your arms around the thin man, his head on top of yours. His arms go around you and you can feel his finger ghosting over your back in comforting circles.
He talks as you’re being hugged, you can feel the vibrations of his speech as your face nestles into his neck.
There is something there between you two as you hug but as soon as you leave the hug the different feeling will disappear.
The hug is short but it give you a good dose of serotonin.
‘Do you want me to cook tonight?’ Spencer asks despite it being your night to cook for the two of you, ‘You go and run yourself a bath.’
‘You sure?’ you ask as you get up and stretch.
‘I’m sure!’ he gives his big smile that makes you automatically smile.
Both of you leave each other's presents, Spencer locating to the kitchen and you to the bathroom, the fluttery feelings of butterflies in your stomach.
.
.
The night before’s meal made by Spencer had filled you up making sleep much easier.
However, there was an odd feeling throughout the dinner. Something more intimate and dare say it, romantic.
A simple pasta dish paired with the buzzing of Sabrina the teenage witch in the background created a near perfect atmosphere that made both of you all gooey inside.
But now it’s the morning and you’re juggling dressing trying to keep on time.
Spencer waits by the door, he hasn’t put on his shoes yet, but he’s ready to go.
He laughs as he sees you hobble out the bathroom frantically tucking in your work shirt into your trousers.
‘Spencer do you know where my keys are?’ you search for the allusive object with no luck.
‘In your bag.’ Spencer calmly says.
‘But I don’t have my bag!’ you hands go in your hair in frustration, you truly did over sleep and secretly Spencer did let you sleep in.
‘Here-’ Spencer walks over and gives you your over the shoulder bag, ‘I packed it for you whilst you dressed.’
A small ‘thanks’ comes from your lips as you take the bag from his hands, your fingers brush over hims ever so slightly.
‘We’re not going to be late.’ he says as you both go to put on your shoes.
‘You better be right Doctor Reid!’ you say in a funny voice as you fish out your keys to unlock the front door.
.
.
‘Spencer come on!’ you call walking in front of said man.
Both of you are walking to catch the train. It’s a thing you do most days when Spencer is off on a case.
You would get on the same train, Spencer would then walk you to your place of work and then hop on the next train to the BAU.
It was the ordinary and it always helps to have a person around when one of your limbs become numb.
You bob up and down at the bottom of the stairs leading down to the train station. You’re both trying to beat the morning rush and get a seat for yourself.
‘I’m going as fast my body can take me with out tripping up (y/n).’ Spencer calls as he descends the steps.
When he gets down to you he nudges his shoulder to yours, a small gesture that you two do to one another.
But lately Spencer has been having the urge to hold your hand. You two always stand so close and the weather has been getting colder.
However, Spencer erases the feelings by putting a pair of gloves on.
You stand side by side on the platform waiting for your train.
‘Wait at at work today, I want to walk with you home tonight.’
‘But what if I have a case?’
‘Then you’ll text me like you normally do!’
‘Oh ok.’ His voice is interrupted but the bellowing of the train stopping.
The doors open and people flood out, he wait and allows you to get on first.
You sit down on a seat, Spencer stands guard next you ready to defend you from the idiots on the train who think you’re undeserving of said seat.
.
.
You hold you visitor pass as you walk through the BAU, familiar face greet you as the daylight begins to fade.
You’ve been thinking about it all day, it’s been distracting you from your work.
The sudden realisation of how much you like like Spencer Reid.
It hit you like a tone of bricks whilst your boss was having a group meeting with everyone.
Somehow something had reminded of your dear friend and that had led you to realise that you think of him too much. Thus it dawning on you that you might really like him as more than a friend.
All day you have been like a zombie but rather thinking about eating brains yo only been thinking about Spencer. And now you normally happy walk has turned into one of shame, for now you need to hide your feelings from a floor of behavioral analysis.
‘Fuck.’ you mutter as an agents holds the door open for you, they give you an odd look but you quickly say your thank yous.
You thoughts are simple; one hand you can tell Spencer you discovered feelings and ‘mess everything up’ or you can try and hind everything from him and then ‘mess everything up’ that way.
You swear some more under your breath but as soon as you entre the bullpen containing Spencer and his fellow agents you turn from sweary to smiley.
The kind of forced smile combined with Spencer looking at you with a horrified look quietens the room.
JJ and Hotch stop talking even Rossi pokes his head out of his office.
‘H-hi (y/n) you’re a bit early.’ Spencer stammers.
‘Well you look ready.’ you point to his bag over his shoulder.
Spencer stands as you get closer to him.
Both of you want the same thing, you both want walk out together holding hands.
‘I’m going to cook tonight, if that’s ok with you?’ you ask, Spencer’s hands getting closer to yours.
You look down at his hand so close to yours and you take the leap of faith and grab it.
His fingers automatically intertwine with yours, you squeeze it with a degree of happiness.
It’s a small gesture but it conveys your feelings.
‘Does this mean someone is going to win the bet?’ you ask with a smile.
‘You know about that?’ Spencer askes.
‘I assumed that there was one with how nosey all your friends are.’
A simple ‘oh’ comes from Spencer’s mouth as you two walk out the doors hand in hand.
‘By the way how was your work day?’
‘Finished that big assignment and only with one numb limb.’
Your voices trail off as the rest of the BAU gather around.
‘Who won the bet!’ Garcia Emily asks as Garcia searches through her laptop records.
‘Let me see- Ah- found it-’ Garcia brings up the results, ‘Damn it Gideon won!’
Grones of annoyance ring out.
.

hope this is ok and i also hope that i did an ok job and portraying plp even if it isn't the main thing.
to the people who have no clue what plp here’s how the person who requested the derek morgan x reader with plp said:
‘Basically people with PLP experience loss of muscle strength in the legs and arms at random times, usually one limb at a time. It may be triggered through sudden scares but can also happen without trigger. The limb goes numb and the person can’t use it for a random timespan, which can differ from around 10 minutes to several hours. There’s no known reason yet; doctors assume it’s psychosomatic like a tinnitus.’
this is gender neutral but if there’s any gendered language please message me and i’ll fix it.
also i like gideon and i needed to mention him and elle!

As always I’m thinking about some character and how they could had actually been developed during the show, so I was thinking about Poe and a possible arc with Lena, magica, violet and Webby between s2 and 3 if we had the life and crimes airing during the season 2 so i have a whole arc ideia for it and i’m going to write a little bit about it .
Idk if I’m actually going to continue this or if I’m writing everything but I’m calling this something like magic connections arc/ alternative storyline or au.
—————-
So FHM would happen a little bit early so the next episode we would get from team magic was Lena’s life adjustment with the sabrewing family which the episode starts with lena and violet at the backyard learning, practicing and studying magic (so we would start getting an insight into Lena’s magic struggles while learning and discovering with Vi about it). Violet explains something and Lena tries it but fails ending up destroying/transforming something, Vi tries to comfort her but then the doorbell rings and one of the dads say it’s webby so Violet goes open the front door, lena stays in the backyard picking up some stuff she dropped when she failed and then looks at one of the open books which was open at a page with an animation spell, Lena frustrated complains about her struggle and decides to try the spell alone right there with that she casts at an iron cup but a raven shows up flying for the cup at that exact time and ends up being hit by the spell.
Lena gets shook and goes see if the bird is alive and she asks “are you alright little buddy?” but for her surprise the raven opens his eyes and he is like “wow, wait wha, I’m confused what happened?” Looks at Lena who says with a shook expression “wait… you’re…talkin…” then Poe cuts her off “WAIT I CAN TALK AGAIN!”
Lena:“YOU’RE TALKING!”
Poe: “Oh my… I CAN’T BELIEVE AFTER ALL THESE YEARS I CAN TALK!”
L: “It really worked! Wait I finally got one right ” *makes a surprise face
P: “wait you did this… how did you do it?” *looks at her
*Lena stops looks at him
L: “I, hmmm, I saw a spell in this book”
*shows the book page
*poe analyses the book
P: “ohhhh great choice, this is a really good volume from this particular book series of commands and transformations”
L: “wait you’re just a raven how can you know about magic and books like this one?” *makes a confused expression
P: “ehhhh… wait please don’t get scared or even turn me again into a raven! I actually have a very good explanation about it!” Says it with a awkward and desperate smile
Lena makes a confuse, nervous and concerned face when Violet and Webby finally arrive (Violet is holding a plate of snacks)
W: “HIIII LENAAAAA!! LOOK WHAT I BROUGHT” shows a different volume of the “The Grimoire du Merlock"
Poe and Lena looks at them
P: “Oh my goodness, is this the seventh volume of the The Grimoire du Merlock???? CAN I SEE IT?”
The girls look at him
V: “ehhh did the bird just talk?”
L: “ehhh yeah he did”
P: “hi?”
W: “ OH MY… LENA DID YOU…?
L: “yeah? I guess so”
——————-
As of right now I just wrote till this point but after this scene they start to talk with Poe and he presents himself without saying he is a “de spell” or magica’s brother and tells his story only the parts he can remember because the raven life made his memories a bit confusing but at least remembers he was with his sister(not mention his name) but something bad happened so he became a raven and his journey with magic growing up (we get some sort of flashback).
I do have an idea about how the arc would go but as for episode events I need more time to explore the ideas like this whole text I wrote has a continuation (since is some sort of a episode ideia) but I’m not sure how continues.
This arc adds up to the idea I had sometime ago of Poe having a similar behaviour and situation as Salem from the 90s show Sabrina the teenage witch, I hope someone likes my idea.

Ship Game:
Movie/TV ship questions; answer with a GIF; no repeats (this is hard)
Thanks @emmaducklingsaviour for the tag! This was really fun but soo hard I could’ve easily picked 2 or 3 ships for each question 😂
1. Your first ship: Sonny and Chad (Sonny with a Chance) ugh my first Disney ship, the couple I shipped before I knew what shipping was. I remember being 10 years old and getting so excited when I was watching and they got together. Simpler times
Tumblr media
2. Your first OTP: Sabrina and Harvey (Sabrina the Teenage Witch) I adored these two they were my childhood and I’m so happy they were endgame even though the last season was messy. I love this show and I love these two, definition of soulmates.
Tumblr media
3. Your current favourite ship: Bellarke (the 100) when I get sad over Bellarke, I re-read the books because they have so many adorable moments in the books like their first kiss by the lake and Bellamy always teasing her. I love them so much and I could easily rant about how much I hate the writers but if you know you know. But at least they’re engaged in the books and Beliza are married🥺🥺
Tumblr media
4. You shipped from the first minute: Ruby and Mulan (ouat) these two had so much chemistry and would’ve been so much more iconic than Ruby and Dorothy, and Mulan was definitely in love with Ruby when she first saw her.
Tumblr media
5. You wish they had been endgame: Jess and Rory (Gilmore Girls) I’m still so upset over these two I love the early seasons of GG and they were perfect together. I don’t like to think about the year in the life I just focus on when they were in love 🥺
Tumblr media
6. You wish they had been canon: Okay this was hard because I literally have so many. But I’m gonna go with Henry and Ivy (ouat) because they would’ve been so powerful together and I’ve ranted before on my page about how they should’ve been together and why it would’ve made so much sense but them being together would’ve made s7 so much better.
Tumblr media
7. A ship you like but most of the fandom hates: Bash and Mary (Reign) I’m like the 1% of the fandom that preferred Mary and Bash like her and Francis were cute but I adored her and Bash they were adorable and Bash never got over his love for Mary even when he was with Kenna.
Tumblr media
8. You don’t even watch the show but you ship them anyways: Chris and Eva (Skam) I could never really get into Skam but I always see these two in multicouples vids and I’ve watched a few moments online and I really like them even though I don’t really know what happens between them
Tumblr media
9. You wish they had a different storyline; Tobias/Four and Tris (Divergent) okay Divergent is my comfort series and while I hate the movies for depriving us of amazing scenes and messing up the plot, I still love these two. I’ll forever be mad over the ending to Alleigant my babies deserved so much better 😭
Tumblr media
10. Fave ship that was endgame: Captain Swan (OUAT) it was so hard not to put these two in another category but I love these two so much my entire blog is pretty much devoted to them. They really got their happy ending and I could rant for hours about them but I’m so happy they got their happily ever after 🥺
Tumblr media
This was so hard I changed my answers so many times I could easily have done more but here we go!
I’m tagging: @captain-emmajones @elizabeethan @headheartbellarke @the-darkdragonfly if you want to 🥰✨

SHOW: Teen wolf
CHAPTER THREE: “works like magic”
EPISODE: 3x02 “chaos rising”
(part two)
Tumblr media
The sudden fact and shock of Erica's death hung in the air, tension rising between Derek and Isaac. After Kaitlin had passed out Stiles grew worried for his childhood best friend. But the thought of the bombshell she had dropped on the two of them not even an hour ago still loomed in his mind.k
He looked at the brunette who sat on a table, her uncle looked here over, double checking she was okay, Stiles was confused, he didn't know how to feel about the fact that the girl he'd known his whole life was a supernatural. In one instance, he still just saw Kaitlin, the girl he had grew up with, the girl who's mom was best friends with his mom before she died. He saw the way her nose crinkled up when she laughed and the dimples when she smiled. Or how she played with her collarbone when she was nervous. Then on the other hand, he saw her in a whole new light, she was a witch, he'd seen her do it, she held Isaac down so effortlessly and was willing to hurt herself to help.
Kaitlin caught Stiles gaze, sighing, she says a few words to her uncle, jumping from the table and made her way over to the two friends, awkwardly standing in front of them.
"We should talk" she stated, her arms crossed over her chest, the boys look to each other, silently agreeing "okay" They make their way outside, standing near the redheads car, she leans against the hood as she crosses her arms.
"Why would you lie to us?" Scott questions, a scowl grows on Kaitlin's face, shaking her head slightly "I didn't lie to you, I'd never lie to you. I just..." she sighs, looking at her feet.
"My mom tried to hide it from me for the first few years of my life" she looks up at the two, slight hurt in her eyes
"When it finally happened she explained everything to me, but made me swear to keep it a secret" her voice was horse, her head still slightly sore.
"How'd it happen" Stiles questions from his place, standing against the wall across from the redhead
"Eight years ago" she starts "I came home from school after a really bad day" she takes a quick glance at Stiles, the boy listening intently. "Every little thing annoyed and agitated me, then I got really upset with my mom, which ended in me shattering my kitchen windows without trying" she chuckles lightly at the memory.  "she knew she had to tell me after that, I was young, but I wasn't dumb"
"She explained everything to me, but even if I was allowed I couldn't tell you guys" her voice wavers, emotion building up slightly, she looks to Stiles "you had just lost your mom" then to Scott "and your dad...you were just kids"
"Katie you were a kid too"
Kaitlin goes quiet, looking down at her feet, she sighs "it was so hard, when I moved away, it killed me. I hated it, the thought that I might never see you guys again, I thought that I would never get the chance to tell you guys the truth" she shakes her head, looking back at her friends.
"The reality of it set in when Lydia told me she knew" the two boys look at each other dumbfounded, Kaitlin laughs
"Yeah that's how I felt, she said something about a feeling"
"Psychic" Stiles mumbles
Scott steps forward, his arms slightly crossed "Katie, I think I speak for us both when I say, we don't blame you and we're okay with it" he smiles "but how did you know about... you know, me" Kaitlin smiles
"About two weeks before I moved back, deaton came to Boston for the weekend. He sat me down and explained everything, Peter, Derek, the kanima and what's currently happening, the alpha pack" Scott smiles with her "have to admit, I was speechless"
Stiles stands straight from his position, clapping his hands together. He walks forwards standing beside Kaitlin and wrapping an arm around her shoulder
"Well, I for one am very excited for all of the 'Sabrina the teenage witch' jokes I'm about to make" he jokes, Kaitlin laughs at him, wrapping her arm around stiles lower back, he pulls her closer, squeezing her comfortably
"Looking forward to it."
******
"She's not dead" Derek Hale yelled at his beta, Isaac flinched at the loudness of his voice, the two had been arguing over the status of Erica.
"Derek, he said, 'there's a dead body. It's Erica.' Doesn't exactly leave us much room for interpretation" Stiles explains, Kaitlin sat beside Isaac on a counter, rubbing her temple in irritation
"Then who was in the vault with Boyd?" Kaitlin rolls her eyes, growing tired of the same conversation "someone else obviously"
"Maybe it was the girl on the motorcycle." He looks to Isaac "the one who saved you?"
"No, she wasn't like us, and whoever was in the vault with Boyd was." Stiles crosses his arms, a sigh escaping his lips.
"What if that's how Erica died? They pit them against the each other during the full moons and see which one survives, it's like werewolf thunder dome" Stiles rambles, Kaitlin lets out a breathy chuckle, Stiles' humor always slipped through at the worst times.
"Then we get them out tonight" Derek pushes even further
"Be smart about this, Derek. You can't just go storming in" Deaton buts in. But Derek won't give up "if Isaac got in, then so can we"
"But he didn't get through the vault door, did he?" Kaitlin finally says, the alpha turning his gaze to her "we need a plan"
"How are we going to come up with a plan to break into a bank vault in less than 24 hours?" He questions the witch, a smug look on his face, challenging her. She gives him an exasperated look.
"Oh I don't know you tell me, your the one that plans on getting them out tonight?" She sits up from her position, Derek glares at the witch
"Uh I think someone already did" Stiles looks at his phone "beacon hills first national bank closes its doors three months after vault robbery" he reads from his phone, handing it to Kaitlin who skim reads over the article
"It doesn't say how it was robbed but it probably won't take long to find out" the girl hands the phone back.
"How long?"
"It's the internet, Derek. Okay? Minutes"
*****
Scott and Stiles went to stiles' house after leaving the animal clinic last night to try find out more about the bank. Kaitlin had told them she would stop by in the morning before school and see how they had progressed, what she didn't expect to see was the two boys Sprawled across the room, papers scattered everywhere, some coming from the printer, both passed out.
"Guys" she attempts to wake her friends, the two teens not moving "guys!" Still even at her raised voice, they slept soundly.
She crosses her arms, smirking, she kicks the chair Scott sat on, he falls from the chair, waking himself and Stiles up as he does.
The two boys smile sheepishly at the witch when they notice her, she stands tall smirking at the boys, wearing a light purple spaghetti string top over a long sleeve white T-shirt paired with denim high waist jeans and her converse.
Stilinski walks into the room, two cups of coffee in his hand, he hands Kaitlin one, the brunette smiles at him, saying a quick thank you
"I see you woke them for me" he laughs "time for school" he states, turning to walk out of the room "Wait, dad!" Stiles calls, his father turning back to look at him
"Heather?" Kaitlin's ears perk up at the familiar name, Stilinski frowns, shaking his head "no. Nothing yet" Stiles' face falls after his father walks out
The room is silent for a few moments, before Stiles speaks up "ten hours and nothing."  He states in frustration
"We're gonna find something" Scott reassures him, glancing at Kaitlin
"Finding something doesn't make Erica any less dead" Stiles argues, moving to clean his room "or Boyd any less about-to-be dead
"We still have time" Scott reassures further, Stiles glances at Kaitlin who shrugs
"Is this whole 'remain optimistic in the face of complete and utter disaster' thing apart of the 'be a better Scott McCall' program?" Classic sarcasm from the king of sarcasm, Kaitlin chuckles, trying to hide her amusement
"Not if it doesn't work"
Stiles sighs in frustration, crumpling a piece of paper in his hand "no, it works"
Kaitlin looks at the papers around the room "Uh guys, maybe your work isn't a total failure" she calls when she notices a newspaper article with Stilinski arresting a man outside beacon hills first national bank
She moves to show Stiles the article, the boys eyes widening and pushing the article to Scott, moving to run out of the room
"Dad! Dad! Wait! Dad!" He runs out of the room, Scott looks to Kaitlin who smiles
*****
Kaitlin jumps out of her car, parked next to stiles' Jeep. The boy groans when he jumps out of the Roscoe, waiting for Kaitlin to catch up to the two, when she does, Scott pulls out his phone and they start walking
"Alright, so we meet at Derek's at 5:00 to go over the plan, and then we don't get started until dark" he swings his bag over his shoulders, Kaitlin sighs
"Do I have to come, Derek's a bit of an ass" she states, Derek's attitude towards the whole situation yesterday make Kaitlin look at the man differently
"Derek's not all that bad, Katie. He's just sour about everything with Erica and Boyd" Stiles explains, reassuring the girl who nods "Yeah I guess, what do we do till then?"
"Well right now, we've got English."
*****
The school day had gone by like any other, boring classes and boring teachers.
After school, Kaitlin, Scott and Stiles met at Derek's like planned
"Okay, you see this?" Stiles pulls out blueprints and a red marker, marking a few places on the sheet
"This is how they got in, it's a rooftop air conditioning vent" he explains the route of the vault that the robbers had took
"It leads down inside into the wall of the vault, which is here. Okay?" He circles the section where the vent is.
"One of the robbers was lowered into this shaft, now that space is so small it took him about 12 hour to drill into that wall, which is stone by the way." He continues, glancing back and forth
"Then throughout the rest of the night, they siphoned the cash up to the guys in the roof, through that one little shaft in the wall. Boom!" He hits the table, putting the cap on the marker
"Can we fit in there?" Scott questions, leaning over the table and observing the sheet
"Yes, we can, but very, very barely." Stiles continues to hit the paper lightly as he talks "and they also patched the wall, obviously,so we're gonna need a drill of some kind"
Kaitlin watches the three men from a counter near by, her legs crisscrossed under her
"I'm thinking maybe a diamond bit.." Stiles starts to ramble again but is cut off by Derek
"Look, forget the drill." He states, Stiles freezes in his place, moving his fist slightly up and down "sorry?"
"If I go in first, how much space do I have?" He looks down at the prints, his mind set in stone
Stiles questionably eyes him, glancing at Scott and then back. "What do you think you're gonna do Derek?"
"Are you gonna punch through the wall?" They straighten up, Derek crossing his arms
"Yes, stiles, I'm gonna punch through the wall." Derek smugly smiles at the teenager
"Okay, big guy let's see it. Let's see that fist." Stiles challenges the taller man, Kaitlin straightens up to watch the scene unfold
"Big old fist. Make it, come on." He pushes further, growing cocky
Derek clenches his hand into a fist, his arms still semi crossed.
"Get it out there. Don't be scared. Big, bad wolf. Yeah, look at that" Kaitlin snickers, earning a glance from Peter Hale who sat on the stairs
Stiles grabs Derek's wrist, putting his hand a few inches away from Derek's fist "Okay, see this?"
"That's maybe three inches of room to gather enough force to punch through solid..." Stiles doesn't get to finish his sentence as Derek punches his hand, Sending him backwards in pain, he hits his hand against the metal table. Kaitlin winces.
Stiles whines like a dying cat, falling around the room, holding his newly injured hand "he could do it"
"I'll get through the wall" Derek ignores Stiles as he quietly whimpers
"Who's following me down?" He rests his hands back down in the metal table, looking at Peter
"Don't look at me." Derek's uncle states "I'm not up to fighting speed yet. And honestly with Isaac out of commission, your not looking at very good odds for yourself"
"So I'm supposed to just let them die?" Derek questions his uncle
"Well one of them is already dead" Peter states, a sarcastic grin on his face
"We don't know that" Derek insists, Kaitlin rolls her eyes, sighing and jumping off the table
"Give it up Derek" she starts, all eyes turn to her "you do know what we're up against, right?"
"A pack of freaking alphas. All of them killers, ruthless killers at that. We don't even know all of them" the redhead crosses her arms, standing beside the table
"And if that doesn't scare your testicles back into your stomach, try to remember that two of them form together to make one giant alpha" she finishes, Derek looks to her curiously.
"She's right you know" Peter speaks up "I'm sure Erica and Boyd were great kids, they're gonna be missed" he finishes, stiles glares
"Can someone kill him again please?"
Peter looks back at Stiles, a stern look on his face. "Derek, seriously"
"Not worth the risk" he finishes, referring to the plan to rescue Boyd and the person in the vault
"What about you?" He looks to Scott, Stiles shrugs
"Yeah, if you want me to come..."
"Not you" Derek sternly denies, looking back to Scott
"Scott?" Stiles turns to look at his friend, pointing his thumb in the werewolf's direction.
"I don't know about Erica, but if Boyd's still alive, we have to do something" Scott states, Derek clenches his jaw but nods. Scott looks at Peter, he rolls his eyes and sighs.
"We have to try" Scott pauses, Derek raises his eyebrows "but?"
"Who's the other girl" he turns to look at Stiles and Derek "the one locked in there with Boyd?"
You should know, I am slow with updates. IM SORRY. but anyway have this crappy update :( I promise it gets better and Kaitlin is my favorite oc I’ve ever made so get ready to get to know her more.

Are You Poe-ndering What I’m Poe-ndering? — Thoughts on: Warnings at Waverly Academy (WAC)
Previous Metas: SCK/SCK2, STFD, MHM, TRT, FIN, SSH, DOG, CAR, DDI, SHA, CUR, CLK, TRN, DAN, CRE, ICE, CRY, VEN, HAU, RAN
Hello and welcome to a Nancy Drew meta series! 30 metas, 30 Nancy Drew Games that I’m comfortable with doing meta about. Hot takes, cold takes, and just Takes will abound, but one thing’s for sure: they’ll all be longer than I mean them to be.
Each meta will have different distinct sections: an Introduction, an exploration of the Title, an explanation of the Mystery, a run-through of the Suspects. Then, I’ll tackle some of my favorite and least favorite things about the game, and finish it off with ideas on how to improve it.
If any game requires an extra section or two, they’ll be listed in the paragraph above, along with links to previous metas (or not links, as tumblr is freaking out with links).
These metas are not spoiler free, though I’ll list any games/media that they might spoil here: WAC, mention of Sabrina the Teenage Witch (the OG live-action show not the horrible CW monstrosity); discussion of the Poe short stories “The Imp of the Perverse” and “The Black Cat”.
The Intro:
It’s time to go to school, y’all — and not just any school; a rich, elite, all-girls school. Welcome to the jungle.
Warnings at Waverly Academy is one of two games that I don’t sort into a category (like “Expanded” “Jetsetting” or “Odd”), the other being the game that follows it (TOT). There are a few reasons for this — the next category really doesn’t apply, but neither does the previous category, WAC and TOT both feature a gradual shift in tone and approach to the games, etc. If I really had to pick a designation, I’d say that these are the “Growing Pains” games, where the world gets a little bit more open — but not all at once, the characters get a little more fleshed out — but not by much, and a few new things are tried with our character rolls — to varying degrees of success.
On the whole, WAC tackles its efforts far better than TOT does, but it does make for a slightly less interesting meta if one was just to focus on what WAC does wrong and what it does right. Instead, we’re going to take a look at how brilliant WAC is tonally and thematically, and how its source material — not kept secret in the game — builds it up and makes it better and better upon replays.
Before I begin, it’s fair to warn you all that my thesis was done on Poe and adaptation theory (and its relevance towards detective novels but I won’t touch much on that part of it), so I might get a bit nerdy. Hopefully it’s still exciting and relatable enough to the game that it’ll make for interesting, rather than academic, reading.
WAC uses Poe’s stories — specifically “The Black Cat” (obviously) and “The Imp of the Perverse” (in my slightly expert opinion) — as thematic (what the game means) and tonal (how the game feels) touchstones, not to mention their inclusion for some of the events in the plot. A brief summary of both is probably important when looking at how they relate to WAC.
“The Imp of the Perverse” is an essay-like short story by Poe that basically states that inside of every person is the desire to do something wrong or incorrect simply because it is wrong or incorrect (not morally, but in terms of self-interest).
In the story, a man commits a clever murder and gets away with it, receiving the inheritance that he wanted from the dead man. The man cannot be caught — there is no evidence of any wrongdoing, let alone any that points to him — unless he confesses. The idea of confessing — not out of guilt, but just because it would be the wrong thing to do — plays on his mind until, driven half-mad with his preoccupation, he confesses and is imprisoned and executed. The titular “imp” is basically a devil on the shoulder who wants what would be worst for our own self-interest, simply because it is the worst.
MENTIONS OF ANIMAL CRUELTY FOR THE STORY OF THE BLACK CAT. PLEASE SKIP IF THIS BOTHERS YOU.
“The Black Cat” on the other hand is pretty much a proto-“Tell-Tale Heart” — an alcoholic man becomes emotionally distant from his cat (a rare sentence, I know) because he things the cat is judging him for being a drunk; one night in a drunken rage, he cuts out its eye and kills it. A fire catches his home, leaving an imprint of the hanged cat upon the only standing wall.
END OF DIRECT MENTIONS OF ANIMAL CRUELTY.
The man and his wife move, and he, after a period of guilt, makes friends with another cat — a cat nigh-identical to the first one, even missing an eye. When he (drunk, as per usual) and his wife are walking down the cellar stairs, however, he nearly trips over the cat and becomes enraged, trying to kill the cat, only to be stopped by his wife. He instead kills his wife, burying her behind the wall of the cellar and bricking up the hole.
When the police come by they find nothing, and the cat has disappeared, so the man feels safe. The police come back to investigate the cellar, the man taps on the wall to boast of how well the house is made — only to have horrific screeching start up behind the wall. The police break the wall down and find not only his wife’s body, but the black cat sitting on it as well. The man breaks down, overwhelmed by his own guilt, and the story ends.
END OF BLACK CAT STORY SYNOPSIS.
It’s pretty clear what influence “The Black Cat” had on WAC — not only does the villain name herself after the titular cat, but WAC is also a story of guilt, hidden crimes, and personal weaknesses that manifest in rage towards other innocents.
It’s actually really interesting that Corine takes the mantle of “The Black Cat” up when she begins targeting other valedictorian candidates; the black cat in the story is sort of a symbol of the man’s sin — a reaction to his sins and misdeeds, and sort of a catalyst of justice. This ties into how Corine sees herself — someone rejected and mistreated by those who are “filthy” themselves, and who must then show others the things they hate about themselves.
It’s Corine’s self-identification as a victim that starts all this, and it causes her to victimize others in potentially fatal ways. The black cat stands for guilt, for the sins of others, and yet it leads Corine further and further away from any justness herself.
The story of “The Imp of the Perverse” has a little bit of a more subtle tie-in to the game; in a way, each suspect does exactly what they know they shouldn’t.
Rachel and Kim are obvious — they really shouldn’t switch back and forth so regularly, nor should they be so sloppy at informing the other as to what they did and who they met that day. Leela, who should be studying if she wants to keep her spot in the race, instead passes the time by playing sports. Mel knows that the cloak-and-dagger meetings are to be an absolute secret, yet wears hair bows that she constantly loses to one. Izzy has her future meticulously planned out, yet refuses to back up an incredibly important paper (and also relies on being popular, yet pursues other girls’ boyfriends).
Even Corine falls under this; by targeting Nancy, she’s ensuring that suspicion will fall on her, as 2/3rds of the victims would then be her roommates. She’s also cutting her chances of being valedictorian by not working hard for it and instead relying on other, riskier methods. Every move she makes leads to it being more and more obvious that she’s behind them — and yet, she continues anyway, just like the man in “The Imp of the Perverse” — leading from a few small incidents to attempted murder.
Ignoring WAC’s ties to Poe renders it as a good, solid mystery without anything remarkable about it (other than the pendulum, of course). Exploring its ties to Poe not only helps set up exactly who the villain is, but also sets the tone for the mystery. This isn’t a mystery of Nancy foiling a villain through her smarts; instead, it’s a story about how guilt and a perverse desire for self-destruction leads a once-promising valedictorian candidate to more and more severe crimes, culminating in the exact opposite of what she was working for.
The Title:
It’s pretty awesome, full stop.
Warnings at Waverly Academy is honestly a great title for a Nancy Drew mystery; it gives us location, a sense of the world we’re in (scholastic), and a vague yet not too vague sense of what’s going on. The alliteration is good, the abbreviation amuses me — it’s just solid all the way around.
There’s not much else to say; sure, you could strengthen it by finding a punchier “w” word to begin with, but that’s just quibbling. It’s great, I love it, let’s move on to the Happenings at Waverly Academy (which, by the way, would have been a terrible name for the game).
The Mystery:
Called in as a professional undercover detective, Nancy’s just young enough to hide in plain sight at Waverly Academy, an upper-crust private school for those girls fortunate enough to be both rich and smart (aside from a few scholarship students, who are simply smart). Nancy’s called in due to a few near-death experiences by students, punctuated always by notes simply signed “The Black Cat”. It’s only a few days until break ends, so Nancy must work quickly to stop the sabotage, find the Black Cat, and solve the mystery before anyone dies.
Nancy, as always, finds quickly that not everything is so cut-and-dried. Each valedictorian candidate has the motive, means, and opportunity to get the other girls out of their way, and all have something to lose. Add in a secret society, the threat of demerits from an overly zealous RA, and the sneaking feeling that there might be a greater mystery behind all of these incidents, and you get a case mostly unlike any that Nancy’s had to crack before.
Oh, and Ned is on the phone, serving the player up with the single punch of testosterone in the game (aside from the hunky Mr. Harris, of course).
As a mystery, WAC is honestly super solid. Lots of characters, lots of clues, lots of red herrings, lots of mini-mysteries going on inside of the larger mystery…it’s everything you want from a Nancy Drew game, and it doesn’t really drop any of the balls it juggles. Sure, the pendulum might be a bit much for you if you’re not up on your Poe, but I think it’s a lot of fun, and for sure a very different type of ending puzzle — not drowning or running out of air or any other ending that Nancy Drew games likes to do.
Let’s go to the movers and shakers behind this mystery, then, shall we?
The Suspects:
Mel Corbalis is the fan-favorite character, so let’s start with her in this huge, estrogen-laden cast. Distinctly of the goth persuasion, Mel is a fantastically talented cello player and a Waverly Legacy, despite the fact that no one at school wants to be caught dead near her. She’s not an outcast the way that Corine is, however, because of her simple insistence on being exactly who she is, and not trying to hide or apologize for it.
Go Mel.
As a suspect, Mel is slightly more suspicious than most other girls, on account of Megan being her roommate, but otherwise sits on fairly equal standing with them all. She’s by far the most outwardly aggressive, but also comes across as simply no-nonsense (a welcome thing in any girl’s academy, believe me). She also has the least of Poe about her, despite her taste in fashion, and is in general a breath of fresh wind.
Next up is Leela Yadav, athlete extraordinaire. She sure can bounce that ball, at least. Izzy’s roommate and just as much a social climber (though in less in-your-face ways), Leela wants it all — popular, athletic, and valedictorian. It’s a lot for any girl to handle, much less one who can’t seem to keep it all together.
As a suspect, Leela’s not bad — she’s as even as (most) anyone else throughout the first half of the game, but falls off a bit when Izzy isn’t specifically targeted by the Black Cat (as most of her gripes are against Izzy, particularly). Leela’s more there to increase the number of students and throw suspicion around, but she does a darn fine job of it, and is well-rounded enough to be genuinely enjoyable.
We’d be remiss not to mention the queen bee (and my personal favorite suspect) at Waverly Academy, Izzy Romero. Snobbish, arrogant, and with apparently the smarts and people skills to back it up, Izzy is the first Waverly girl that Nancy (as Becca) meets, and boy does she set the player up for what Waverly is really like. Izzy’s smart enough to know when she should put in the effort and clever enough to delegate it when she can, and that alone endears her to me, even leaving aside her hilarious dialogue and general vibes.
As a suspect, Izzy is the sole girl who really isn’t set up to be much other than what she is — a girl with more than enough smarts to get power, and enough power to pretty much do what she wants to do. Sure, Nancy can catch Izzy doing stuff she shouldn’t do, but she’s never really a heavy-hitter when it comes to the Black Cat stuff. I love her for that, too. She’s a lot like Libby from the original Sabrina the Teenage Witch show; a bit nasty, but hilarious and effectively harmless — and I’ve always liked Libby-style characters.
And her stint in the Blackwood Society is aces too. Man, this girl does not quit.
Rachel Hubbard, is, of course, actually Rachel and Kim Hubbard, and they are the plot point that WAC is most known for. They actually have marginally separate personalities too, with one being far snappier than the other, and having strengths in different subjects.
Part of the reason I love the Hubbard twins so much is that their presence is so...Poeian. Poe was all about duplicity and mirrors, and the Hubbard twins show off both themes. It’s just a wonderful little bit of a nod to the source material (thematically speaking) of the game, and I adore it.
As suspects, the Hubbards aren’t bad at all; they’re lying, sneaking around, and blatantly “forget” what they’ve said to people, all of which adds up to be very untrustworthy. Were it not for Nancy (and Corine) sneaking around, they might have gotten through their Waverly experience without anyone figuring it out — and that’s something to respect, even if it does make them prime targets for blackmail. And speaking of blackmail…
Corine Meyers is both Nancy’s roommate and 100% our villain this time around. Obsessed with becoming valedictorian and knowing she probably won’t get it, Corine basically puts out self-assigned hits on each of her fellow candidates, attempting to get the title by violence rather than by being worthy. She’s even cunning enough to blackmail the Hubbard twins into doing some of her dirty work, throwing people off her scent. Sure, Corine is a rather pathetic (in the non-sympathetic sense) person who I have little respect for, but she does make a good villain in a Poe-ish story.
As a suspect, the game actually makes a pretty good go at not assigning the blame too quickly to anyone, so Corine does manage to hide out in the shadows. Sure, one of the girls who went home was her roommate, but the other was Mel’s, so suspicion isn’t centered right on her. I also love that she’s actually punished for what she does — no amount of sad pictures at the end of the game changes that. Corine actually has the cleverness that CUR tries (but doesn’t succeed) to give Jane, and I think it’s wonderful.
I’m not going to give Megan Vargas or Danielle Hayes their individual chunks, but they are present here as well, standing in as victims so we know that this teenaged effery very nearly had a body count. They really help to give a sense of…well, purposeful disconnection to the game, where the setting and the snow and the fact that these are high school girls doesn’t stop the crimes from being deadly.
The Favorite:
The first thing that I have to say is that I love how the tone and crimes of this game contrast so well with a lot of the games (especially, sorry, CUR). This takes place at a school, your suspects are all teenaged girls…and yet the game doesn’t shy away from how horrific things really are to get Nancy called in. Two girls have nearly died in quick succession from one another, and the girls are going on chasing acclaim. It’s a messed up situation, and the game doesn’t shy away from pointing that out.
These crimes are treated with severity, and the culprit, despite things that might have softened her ending under lesser writers, is punished with total removal. WAC in some ways is a spiritual successor to SCK, in that it takes place at a school, lives are endangered, Nancy is (mostly) undercover, and the culprit is not above killing Nancy messily solely for personal gain. The difference, of course, is that SCK is not done well, and WAC, on the whole, is.
As mentioned above, I have a soft spot for Poeian detective stories, and so I enjoy WAC probably more than I would had they modeled it after, say, Holmesian detective stories instead. The ideas of duplicity, mirrors, guilt, the Imp of the Perverse — the self-destructive tendency to do what we should not simply because we should not do it — these are all present and accounted for in WAC from different girls and facets of the plot (Corine and the secret society both represent duplicity, the Hubbard girls are mirrors, Waverly’s own guilt towards the students it failed, etc.).
My favorite puzzle has to be WAC’s resident cooking minigame, where Nancy prepares hot lettuce sandwiches and definitely underdone cookies to the delight of the gossiping horde. It’s like TRN’s cheeseburger minigame writ large, and every second of it is wonderful — the gossip, the food-making, the unexpected panic of a teacher order — everything. It also helps Nancy keep her head above water, should she be caught sneaking around after hours, and I think that’s great as well.
My favorite moment of the game is when Nancy comes out of the wall in Mel’s room and Mel isn’t having even one iota of her excuses to cut and run. It’s not often that a non-villain will press Nancy so intently when Nancy does something Inherently Untrustworthy, and I think it’s great that a 17 year old girl behaves exactly as one would, demanding an explanation and not letting Nancy wiggle her way out of it. Sheer perfection and the moment, I would guess, that Mel became a lot of people’s favorite WAC character.
I also love everything to do with the Blackwood Society. Nancy goes so…metal there and we really don’t get enough of Metal Nancy. It features one of the few moments of absolutely, unequivocally brilliant voice acting that Lani stumbles upon (the conversation about the bow), and it’s a wonder to behold.
The Un-Favorite:
While WAC certainly has great things about it, it’s not by any means a perfect game. It wouldn’t sit in my top 10, and possibly not even in my top 15, though it would depend on the day. The reasons for this?
A big one is my least favorite puzzle: taking the pictures. It’s a good idea — a gofer quest to help Nancy get to meet each student, talk to them, etc. and make sure no one gets lost in the shuffle (like with what usually happens with Guadalupe in ICE, for example) — and is also great for acquainting Nancy with the Hubbard(s). However, in practice, the interface makes it incredibly obnoxious to do, what with having to retake pictures because the pan or zoom is slightly off, and having to jump around from place to place. It’s a good idea, but could have been implemented far, far more smoothly than it actually was.
My least favorite moment in the game is actually the whole deal with Izzy’s paper being deleted. It’s a dick move — and I have no problem with that, honestly, but the fact that she has no backup is just like…girl, what on earth are you doing where you don’t back up your work.
Adding to that is the fact that even in the far-off yesteryear of 2009, Word autosaves (as did many, if not all, word processors) and a copy definitely would have still been retrievable on her computer, and that the teacher would almost definitely have a previous rough draft or at least outline…it’s a pretty shaky thing to have happen (the not-having, not the deleting), and it does break the game down a bit. I know it’s not that big a deal to most people, but it seriously hampers my ability to stay within the world of WAC and to take the mystery seriously.
The Fix:
So how would I fix Warnings at Waverly Academy?
There’s honestly not too much to do; while not a perfect game, WAC is perfectly solid, accomplishing what it needs to do properly and well, without too many little flaws to mar its reputation.
In other words, it’s a bit like an unsuccessful valedictorian candidate; well-rounded, but not a standout when compared to others that burn a little brighter.
I would, however, re-work the picture task; I’m not sure how you could make it less clunky, mechanically speaking, but it definitely needs it, along with a way to know if it’s a good picture or not before you go through all the effort of going to the library and plugging in the camera. I love the idea — just make the idea work better.
I’d also change the “deleted paper” storyline and go a little more destructive — give the computer an awful virus instead. Sure, her paper is backed up (in 2009, probably on a USB drive, or saved to her email or something), and she has her stuff, but that locks away all personalized notes, study sheets, etc. It’s something that would be pretty damning for a Valedictorian candidate, while also still being firmly in the realm of believability.
And on a smaller note, remove the ability to call Bess in this game. It always goes to voicemail and serves no purpose. Why even include it?
Where WAC really shines is its individualistic approach to each girl and in its permeation of Poeian themes; that’s what makes it special as a game, rather than any of its individual parts. Sometimes, you need to take a break from haunted mansions and carousels and museum thefts and marriage troubles and friends who are always in need of help – and you just need to play a game with gossip galore, hot lettuce bagels, and an actual death-bringing pendulum to round it out.

38. “They’re coming. Kiss me!”
This takes place in the same world as my fic Burning House. You can read that here:
https://archiveofourown.org/works/26152108
Also the two past prompts that come before this one:
https://archiveofourown.org/works/27183004/chapters/67073836
https://archiveofourown.org/works/27183004/chapters/66877234
You don’t really have to read them first, just know in this prompt Nick has taken Sabrina’s memory of him away.
They were back in some hostel, opting for a room just the two of them given their coming and going and need to speak freely of magic. There were two separate beds of course, but for some reason Sabrina was itching to push her worn twin next to his simply because breathing near him seemed to steady her own lungs.
She’d only known him about a month and she didn’t question the fact that she’d walked into a room to find a wayward warlock digging through her things. She chalked it up to happenstance or fate and the fact that witches wandered more freely in Europe than they did in the States. She had immediately asked him to join in on her journey, not really knowing why she did so, but grateful when he’d agreed just as quickly while his smirk was taking root in her heart.
She’d always sworn off the warlocks at the Academy as she wasn’t interested in their hollow views of love and fixations on the flesh. But this Nicholas Scratch had seemed different, maybe a little bit of a loner, but someone who had gotten a taste of love and who was maybe searching for it again.
She didn’t know how spot on she was.
They’d been traveling to different countries and August was peaking through, and Sabrina had her eyes on a particular book of spells at a museum. The mortals didn’t know it was seeping with magic, but she did and she thought she might find something in it to help fill the gaping hole in her chest. Her first semester of mortal college was drawing near and she saw this book as her last hope before her European adventures came to a close. And so would her search and likely, her travels with the handsome and charming warlock she’d come to know.
Being around Nick had helped fill the void and that mixed with his good looks and easy conversation may have tipped the scales in the direction of her plan to blend in at the museum.
“I don’t know, Spelllman...” Nick said, scratching the back of his neck nervously. She was already packing up her bag to go despite his uncertainty. Two years ago he’d taken away her memory of him, and while he couldn’t quite bring himself to regret it, it was at moments like these that he wishes they could actually be a couple instead of pretending to be one as a cover. To him, it was risky.
“Nicholas.” She used his full name. “It’s a good plan.”
“I don’t know that I-”
“What, are you saying I’m so hideous and awful you can’t pretend to be in love with me?” Sabrina crossed her arms and raised her eyebrows in challenge. It stung a bit that he wasn’t on board when he had been with whatever scheme she’d come up with that last month.
Nick’s heart panged and nearly walked out, knowing he probably should before he took this too far. He never should have shown up in her hostel in the first place, but the gravity of Sabrina Spellman was undeniable and he was helpless to her pull. She stood staring him down now waiting for an answer, thinking he wouldn’t be able to pull off the ruse. Little did she know that pretending to love her was not difficult. Quite the opposite actually. It was the fact that he'd been pretending not to love her for weeks that had been eating him alive. It was near fucking impossible to act like her pursing lips and narrowed eyes weren’t the exact ones he fell in love with in the first place. Like the Sabrina in front of him that was challenging him now with that fearlessness wasn’t the same girl that remembered who he was and rescued him from hell.
“I didn’t say that.” He came up with and spoke cautiously. She huffed, dissatisfied with his answer and raised her eyebrows again.
He couldn’t say no to her, especially when she was looking at him like that. And frankly, it was a good idea. If they acted ridiculously in love no one would suspect they were witches, just a couple of foolish mortals. Nick could play the part well as there would never be a version of Sabrina Spellman he didn’t love. And even though she was no longer his, he was entirely hers, wrapped up in her schemes and plans without a thought. Even if she didn’t know it.
“Then what are you saying?” She asked and stepped closer to him. He took a deep breath and bit back a little smile creeping through. When Sabrina had an idea she dug her heels in, it was better to just concede early. Save them the fight. He was happy to see that hadn’t changed.
“Nothing.” Nick smiled crookedly then and her face softened. “It’s a good idea, let’s do it.”
“Great.” Sabrina raised her chin in the air and grabbed his hand. The jolt of energy and magic was strong but she brushed it off and pulls him along. “Let’s go, boyfriend.”
Nick ignored the heat in his hand that held hers and focused on her giggling and heels in the cobblestone streets.
The museum was easy to find, the spell book even easier as long as they followed the trail of magic. It was out on display in an occult section and listed as a replica. But there was nothing “replica” about the way it radiated magic that Nick and Sabrina could feel the second they walked in the doors.
There didn’t seem to be any other witches around, which was good because Nick’s magic was powerful and Sabrina’s was well, Satan’s daughter. They played the part well and Nick pulled Sabrina into his side as she slipped her hand into his back pocket. They both felt the stirring tension but didn’t speak of it, and Nick nearly spilled everything when she reached over and ruffled his hair in just the manner she used to.
When the coast was clear, they swiped it and replaced it with an actual replica, before holding hands once more and making their way out. Sabrina felt alive and Nick felt good. The nightmares hadn’t plagued him in a while and he thought he might start being okay.
They were hardly in another hallway when they heard the ruffling of panic and chaos. Perhaps their replica hadn’t been good enough or there was a witch in their midst. Whatever the truth, they needed a plan. And fast.
Sabrina pulled him a little further and into a corner, thinking of the first thing that came to her mind as the man approached.
“They’re coming. Kiss me!” He didn’t have a chance to process or protest before she was pulling him to her by his shirt and pressed her lips firmly and soundly to his, a kiss for show far too intense and hungry.
They both heard the grumblings of a security guard commenting on annoying hormonal teenagers before they went away, leaving Sabrina and Nick alone in the corridor again.
They kept kissing longer than they needed to, the threat to their cover long gone, but neither could pull away. Her lips were just as soft as he remembered and he nearly lost his mind kissing her again. For her it was surprising how easy it was to melt against him. There was something about it that was so familiar. So comforting. So much like home.
As he kept kissing her she recognized his breath so clearly as if it were her own. She’d kissed these lips before. She’d loved this man before.
“Nick.” She breathed against his lips, unable to open her eyes. His were screwed shut too, worried that she’d slip away. She leaned in and kissed him again, sighing deeply.
It all came back then, the flashes of dark red and deep brown eyes and running in the woods like wolves and actual wolves and a masquerade ball and of tears in bedrooms and of arms that were strong enough to catch her when she fell.
Slowly the memories unfurled, like one of those crunched up towels in water she begged Zelda for that one time she managed to get her family to take her to Disney. They unraveled bit by bit to reveal a picture she wasn’t quite sure what she thought of. But it was beautiful all the same.
“Nick.” She said his name again, wonderment and disbelief and and hint of Sabrina Spellman fire in her tone. Her gaze shot up to his and suddenly they were back in the choir room, the lunch table, each other’s arms in her bed and she knew she couldn’t untangle from this man if she tried. “I remember.”

For the ask thing :3:
Top 5 animals? Top 5 fav/comfort movies? Top 5 fav cartoons/shows?
I’m honestly glad to know theres other people including you who actually like Pakku and his character :3 Yes he was a completely asshole at the start but he did change, it’s just that it was so subtle that not everyone saw it
Also random song associations with characters:
Fighter by Jack Stauber reminds me very well of Piandao, Pakku, and Jeong Jeong as their younger selves during the war.
Why do I associate Grace by Lewis Capaldi with Bumi? (the music video tho would give more context to why it might make sense)
Oh Klahoma by Jack Stauber reminds me of Piandao and his overall anxieties for his partners.
Consider some of these songs as sorta song recs? Idk but still :3
1. Giraffes!! the reason why their tongues look like That is cause of extra melanin and to prevent sunburn!!
2. Seals!! there are 33 different kinds of pinnipeds and there over 50 extinct pinnipeds
3. Dogs!! they can only see in shades of blue and yellow, so bright red roses look yellowish brown and lively green grass look dehydrated and dead
4. Crows!! a group of them are called a murder
5. Cows!! they’re actually colorblind, they can’t see red specifically, so male cows, bulls aren’t getting mad at the color, they’re getting angry at the movement
1. The Losers movie from 2010, it’s a action mystery movie about Clay and his team that are a part of an elite US Special Forces Unit and are approached by a mysterious woman to exact revenge on their handler, Max, who betrayed them and just,,,the characters, CHRIS EVANS, jake jensen and all of his kinda weird glory, THE ELEVATOR SCENE, also cougar!!
2. Captain America and The Winter Soldier movie, it’s a action movie, which makes me realize that a lot of my faves are prolly gonna be action something, but anyways, it’s about Steve Rogers, who now lives in the nation's capital as he tries to adjust to modern times. An attack on a S.H.I.E.L.D. colleague throws Rogers into a web of intrigue that places the whole world at risk. Joining forces with the Black Widow, Natasha Romanov, and a new ally, Sam Wilson, Steve struggles to expose an ever-widening conspiracy, but he and his team soon come up against an unexpected enemy. oh my god,,,just,,,the fight scenes, the running scene at the beginning of the movie, steve meeting sam that way, just everything!! this was also my introduction to marvel so in my mind no other marvel movie can live up to this (other than spiderman away from home)
3. Spiderman Far from Home, again, it’s a action movie, i’m not gonna explain this cause the post is getting long, but!! mj and peter!! just,,,all of their scenes!! also jake gyllenhaal!! the fight scenes!! the soundtrack!! everything about it is amazing!!
4. Thunderforce, again, i’m not gonna explain, it’s an action adventure and comedy movie (ofc it is look at the other 3 🙄 /s), the relationship between lydia and emily!! the relationship between lydia and emily’s daughter!! the humor!! the fight scenes!! the soundtrack!!,,,,just everything about is good despite the bad ratings
that’s more like a top 4 than a top 5 but that’s like,,,,all the movies i genuinely like and will rewatch if given the chance and for that where’s a honorable mention: Hamilton (the movie version on disney+ that came out i think nearly a year ago), the soundtrack is amazing, the characters are better, got some funny moments and is mostly historically accurate, like yeah angelica did forget her name cause at the time of her meeting alex ham, she was married to a man named john church (or something church idk) so her last name was church but she introduced herself to alexander as angelica schuyler, not angelica church, so in satisfied she was telling the truth about forgetting her own name, but in the same song she said that her father had no sons even though the real angelica had 3 brothers.
1. Avatar the last Airbender, ofc or else i would have a blog (mostly) centered around it and it’s sequel /s but fr though?? it’s such a good show!! zuko’s redemption arc, iroh’s redemption arc (even though his more subtle than zuko’s) , aang!! love him and his character so much, especially when he gets to be a sassy little shit, sokka and his shit humor and brains, katara, toph, hakoda and HIS shit humor, the fight scene with hakoda (he fights kinda like a waterbender, using his opponent’s momentum against them), bato and his lovely, lovely voice, piandao, aang going ‘how about he get on YOUR back and you can fly us to the south pole’ or something like that to sokka after he complained about appa not flying higher, the boiling rock episodes, hakoda apparently being a good dad but a shitty prison riot starter (love that for him), just!! atla is such a good ass show, im not changing my mind. also!! i like the way they introduced ozai, not showing his face but still presenting him as not only a shit dad, but a shit person as well, like up until book three, we only saw him like, the neck down and in like, a flashback or two (i don’t really remember how many flashbacks ozai was in actually cause it’s nearly been a full year since i last watched it) and that’s it, so it made seeing his face for the first time all the more better cause you was already like ‘what the hell does this shitbag look like’ and then you see him and now ur like ‘oh!! THATS what he looks like!!’
2. The Legend of Korra, again, ofc or else i wouldn’t have a blog (mostly) centered around it and it’s prequel, just,,,,korra’s arc from being hot headed to calm is fantastic but also sad considering the way she went from that to this, korra’s book 1 character!! for whatever reason i really like b1 korra, just,,her design, her hair style (even though she had it for nearly the entire series) just!!! book 1 korra <3, also the entirety of book 1!! just amon posing as a anti bender nonbender despite being a waterbender himself, the scene where tenzin and his kids nearly lost their bending, which would’ve meant that, if tenzin did lose his bending but his kids didn’t, that would’ve meant the strongest airbender would’ve been his 11 year old daughter, the gruesome way to end the season finale episode by doing a murder suicide which was dark as fuck for what?? a kids show??, also the villains in this show!! their good as hell!! the backstory of the red lotus and how and why they were created?? amon and his anti bending?? kuvira and her plan to basically rule the earth kingdom (idk i haven’t finished book 4), unalaq and his spiritual stuff and wanting to become a dark avatar and fusing with vaatu?? also!! the other disturbing scene of korra basically getting tortured near the end of book 3, i mean?? it deadass left her hella traumatized and unable to walk, again hella dark for a fucking kids show
3. The Walking Dead, even though i haven’t finished it or watched in like, 4-5 months, i just,,,the way the presented negan!! practically foreshadowing him the entirety of season 6!! him appearing at the very end of the season 6 finale and pretty much having an entire episode dedicated to him in the very beginning of season 7 (which is why some fans argue he was introduced in s7 not s6 cause of the fact that he didn’t show up until the very end of the s6 finale but had an entire episode with him in it in s7, while others say vice versa cause the very the first time we see him was in s6 not s7), the fact that the walking dead logo was getting progressively more and more decayed as the series go on?? the fact that the WALKERS (the zombies) are getting more and more decayed as the series go on?? dale’s death scene?? shane’s death scene?? negan’s relationship with rick’s daughter?? the fact that this show also has what?? 11, 12 seasons?? which reminds me that i’m still on season 9 of twd
4. Sabrina the Teenage Witch, just,,,salem and his sarcasm?? sabrina’s aunts?? sabrina herself?? just!! everyone is just so fucking funny in this show it’s unreal, specially salem!! a lot of my favorite scenes have salem in them, the ‘are you on a women’s chat room again?’ (or something like that) and salem saying ‘i like the attention’ in response, that one harvey and salem scene that i don’t know how to describe without turning this into a giant paragraph like the ones before this one
5. blue’s clues, it was my favorite childhood show and i love the reboot of it so much!! especially p for pride moment in that song i don’t remember the name of, blue themself!! steve leaving which was sad but getting an equally amazing host in the process?? amazing!! the scene where salt and pepper introduced their baby, paprika?? just,,,it’s such good show and i loved it when i was younger and i still love it now!!
