Working on a Switched-at-Birth AU (not the show) with Danny and Tim but I just wanna make it clear to anyone who’s interested in this (whenever I finish writing what I can i’ll post) that Switched-at-Birth doesn’t mean they experience exactly what the other did in their life.

That’s the TLDR while my anxious overcompensation is below if you want that

Lots of things are blatantly different, especially for Daniel Wayne. Just because you see a lot of what looks the same on Tim’s side doesn’t mean that it isn’t very different just like with Danny. There’s only one-two Canons with Danny Phantom. There’s TOO MANY with DC content containing Timothy Drake. I can’t exactly match their lives even if I wanted to and I don’t.

So just- if you’re a like a purist or something for Tim Drake’s life then please make sure you keep in mind this ISN’T Tim Drake it’s Timonthy Fenton and Daniel Wayne.

Nothing is exactly the same even if lots of it does seem it at certain points. I point this out cuz I know some of Tim’s major life points won’t happen and some of his major character traits may not show up initially or in the same ways as is known typically.

Same goes for Danny but I’ve never seen anyone get really torn up over his character being different in some way so… I’m inexperienced thus less anxious about it, I guess.

so tired of people pissing on how the show writers glossed over important aspects of the crows' backstory as if the show isnt titled "shadow and bone" rather than "six of crows". it's almost like, the show writers plan to expand on their characterizations in a show that actually focuses on crows. maybe even in the spin off that got greenlit idk

my mom says that hobi's choreo for people pt 2 was incredible when two great dancers were performing it alone in the docu but it looked funny when a group of people did it during yoongi's concert. i wouldn't say it looked funny but it definitely wasn't a concert choreo for a whole group of people which again makes me so soft because i think hobi didn't create it with the concert in mind but yoongi got the choreo as his birthday gift and went you know what i'm gonna take this with me when i travel the world. and i think that's beautiful

I didn't even think about the fact that he got to listen to PPT.2 early in order to even dance to it but that's true isn't it, like Hoseok was filming for HOTS well before Yoongi's album was released which means he probably got to hear it early and that's SO like them. Yoongi may not be the type to listen to their albums early 'cause he likes to listen like a fan would, but Namjoon and Hoseok have 0 issues with sharing their work with the others before release 🥹 either Yoongi offered or if Hoseok asked he agreed to let him hear it 🥹

And no, Namjoon didn't post or say anything about Hoseok dancing to Still Life, I'm sure he was aware but since there were no official clips it would have been hard for him to post something about it like he normally would. I wanted to know what his reaction was just for the feels like how Yoongi got to react to his but I get there wasn't the same kind of opportunity for him to sit down and watch it.

And please, that's exactly what it seemed like!!! It also gave him a chance to talk about how Hoseok made it for him and thank him at every show hello?! They are SO sweet. Plus he did the whole RL medley, like they all love and admire each other so much, the RL trio almost always make sure to keep a piece of the others in everything they do and that's so cute of them :(

My heart's been in 3 pieces since they separated and it won't be whole again until the 3 of them are together again!!!

okay now that i've been a big whiny baby...

Tolya is incredibly hot, wtf, and I actually really dig on the shiptease he has with Inej??? I like it so much! And I was not expecting the first person who appreciates Tolya's poetry to be Kaz. I love that little extra characterization! It dovetails really well with him stealing and then keeping the painting in season 1. Tolya even says something to the effect of "oh hey, someone else who appreciates the beauty in life" or something.

Realistically, because it pointed and obvious but wasn't treated as a joke, I do think it was the writers drawing a parallel between Kaz and Tolya. If they get another season, I suspect that Inej will flirt with the idea of a romance with Tolya (or even just... have one), and we'll get some hint or subtext or something that some of what she likes about Tolya are actually things she likes about Kaz. They've already set up parallel narratives for Inej and Mal (both of them leaving their love interest to spread their wings and figure themselves out instead), so I'm pretty excited for where they go if they get more episodes.
