“She was affectionate in private. Me and our sons are rather affectionate people, though I doubt I seem that way.

She often used to rest against me while we sat, and whenever I returned from a mission, she’d greet me by holding my cheeks in her hand, and kissing me. It always brought my spirits back, even after the roughest of missions.

We cuddled a lot when we slept too, she liked being the little spoon.

As for her expression, I blame her family for that. They weren’t particularly good to her, so I assume she adopted a more stoic and calm expression to deal with it.

Still, she smiled a lot when we spent time together as a family.”

Why did you draw Anzu wearing the Kimisaki 3rd year uniform when she transferred to Yumenosaki as a second year?

I'm not the best source for EnGirls facts so I might be missing any important info or statements, but I do have a short and long answer for that actually :DD

Short answer is, well that's because Anzu is supposed to be wearing a green uniform!

In Paradise, the event that takes place during Anzu and the rest of the Troublemakers' first year, before she transfers, they are all wearing the green uniform:

The long answer is, just like Yumenosaki, Kimisaki does do the red=1st year blue=second year green=third year color distinction too, but it's notable that the arrangement might have been discarded/ignored eventually for convenience once the stories start showing events from past and future, and the distinction specified applies to the specific time period of the game. I forgot where this was stated, like if it was an art book or a question answered by the EG account since I was just told this at one point, but apparently Kimisaki's uniform doesn't circle between the three colors when you study there, but you're gonna be using the same color as a batch until you graduate because it's less costly that way (which makes sense, changing your entire top every year seems more inconvenient than changing a tie).

I've wondered the same thing as you at one point, but realized without knowing that, it can also be observed in some of the events that happen in the past and future; where the girls still wear the same color they do then as they do in the main timeline of the game's story

Paradise and Grimoire are an examples of events from the past, where third year students, who need to be shown as their first year selves prior to the start of the game, wore their green uniform you would see them in during the events of the main story.

In the final main story event, which takes place during the now president transfer student's third year in highschool, everyone is still wearing their colors from the previous year/main story timeframe (Natsumi wears blue, Ruka and Shizuku wears read, etc.) (It's def not because everyone is supposed to be roleplaying as their selves from a year ago for the big reunion that's unrelated TwT)

In Full Voice, where Suzu visits and joins the radio program as a guest Alumni, everyone is wearing their usual uniform colors too.

So it can be observed that yes, the colors of the kimisaki uniform doesn't rotate and that they only wear whatever color they came in with. Hope that helps :DD If I missed any important details or fun facts, feel free to give me a heads up! I love learning more about engirls :))

Hello there! This blog is an ask blog for the PT!AU for KNY/Demon Slayer/Kimetsu No Yaiba by @trix-with-wifi-access and @peanut-with-wifi-access.

This AU was developed over the course of approximately a year or two of KNY roleplays, originally beginning with simple headcanons before spiralling completely out of control.

This AU's lore is deep and complicated, as much care was put into it. It's not a complete fix-it, more of "somebody lives" than anything.

The AU also contains several non-canon relationships, mostly between canon characters, with the occasional well developed OC.

Yes, there's OCs. Don't worry, none of them are main characters. They're more of support characters, accessories to the canon characters.

Anyway, as this is an AU, it will not be canon compliant in any fashion. From personalities to lore to biology, it's gone off the deep end of fanon.

Vampire Knight Fan Club Discord!

I don’t normally like to advertise on my blog but I’ve been working on a project lately that I’m really passionate about, I’ve been into Vampire Knight since I was a tiny weeb way back in 2008. And while the fandom isn’t as big as it once was I feel there still isn’t enough places to talk about it with like minded people. Therefore for the past month I’ve been working on a discord!

The Vampire Knight Fan Club discord is a community made by Vampire Knight fans for Vampire Knight fans gush about the latest chapter of Vampire Knight memories here, all your headcanons, and favorite canon and crack ships to your hearts content with people who just get it because we love it too.

The Vampire Knight Fan Club discord has many fun perks such as:

➼ A level 1 boosted server, so all our anime nights are streamed in HD and we have over 100 emoji slots to fill with memery and fandom content.

➼ Speaking of Anime nights we also host events, weekly with user input sometimes with prizes! While not exclusively fandom related they’re great fun.

Revolutionary Girl Utena AU where it's all a semi-obscure Tabletop RPG named "Roses and Revolutions".

“R&R” is usually played as a more standard Magical-Girls-Game with a bit of an oddball setting and a bigger mechanical focus on Social Combat, but the DM is Basically Anthy and every game she DM gets... Like This.

Utena's player is serious ‘Roses and Revolutions’ fan, but she has never played with Anthy before so her is character expecting this to be a ‘normal’ run of the game: good at fighting, high Luck stat, high social status. Yeah, alright, her Wisdom and Social Combat Defenses are in the *toilet*, but surely that's not a big deal.... right?

So, yeah, every D&D party has the One Character That Gets Mind-Controlled. Utena is the One Character Who Gets Seduced. Her player spends half of every session headdesking at the stupid decisions her character *has* to make cause the Player is more perceptive than Utena.

Meanwhile, Touga’s player has tons of experience playing Anthy’s games before and so his character's stats are pretty much all geared into Social Combat. He's a totally medicore dualist on paper, but man, can he use these Social Stats well.

(Anthy the DM *might* have cribbed some notes from him when she was finalizing the ideas for the campaign's Big Bad. Anthy has gotten a rep for making every Big Bad in every game she DMs Basically Herself, so everyone around the gaming table (That wasn't Utena) was on edge about Anthy the Character for almost all of the game. Anthy the DM SWORE that she's not gonna be the Big Bad this time and she was *technically* right. )

Just looking at his character sheet, Saionji should be a pretty decent fighter - both in the Social and Dueling sense. It's just that the dice fucking hates him, the DM kinda hates his character and he's also kind of a dumbass that makes bad choices sometimes. He totally made his character to be some sort of Cool Badass Asshole Man, but ends up Fucking It Up so much that eventually he resigned to just make his character a laughingstock.

Miki the player and Miki the character are basically the Same. Miki strikes me as the kind of person who'd just play Himself in a roleplaying game.

Juri's player is the most Hardcore Roleplayer in the entire group. Everyone just came in with like... a paragraph of backstory, but Juri just came in with fucking.... five whole pages detailing the life of the Angsty Highschool Lesbian she plays. There’s so much Stuff innit that never saw the light of day in the actual gaming session cause there’s only so much Anthy’s gonna incoporate into her plans. (Juri’s player was so happy when she got to inject her Drowning Boy story somewhere into the conversation in the last\one before last session). She’s also the one who made Juri Miracle-Lose to Utena, she insisted on it for the DRAMA.

(Ruka is technically a PC who wanted to join but his schedule didn't fit with the rest of the group and so Anthy had to shoehorn his character in and than scrap all of her plans and write him out in and all in two sessions. He’s based on someone from Juri’s Too Long Backstory, cause Anthy was like... fuck it... if I have this here I might as well use it to the new character I’m trying to shove in.)

Nanami's player is the goofy troll who is always out to derail the DM's campaign and be contrarian ("Oh so it's a game about slightly-supernatural dueling? Well, I'm not gonna invest any points into fighting and just play as the bitchy class queen!"), unfortunately for her, the DM is *Anthy*

1. You don't out-troll Anthy

2. If you mess with Anthy's campagin She Will Turn You Into a Cow

3. Anthy's a damn good DM and even though Nanami's Player intended for her to be a joke, Anthy eventually made her actually care about her own character and oh no now she's invested

(Also, you can't tell jokes around the table when Anthy is the DM, there's at least a 70% chance she'd be like "Okay (: so you rolled a natural 20 in seducing Miki, Touga (:" or "Yes, there are definitely surfing elephents after you, Nanami (:")

Touga was SUPER-INVESTED in the First Arc, then he ended up missing most of the Second Arc (and Anthy doesn't like RPing him cause he's too much like her plans for Akio) and he comes back only *just* gotten enough XP for the "Connection - Big Bad" Perk (Which all he ever wanted)

(Alternative AU: Everything in Utena is absolutely typical of a "Roses and Revolutions" game save for the Nanami Wacky Episodes)

“Kyojuro had a seemingly infinite amount of energy that made Senjuro seem sickly in comparison. Kyojuro was always ready to go, but Senjuro, not so much. He liked to sleep and be held, and Kyojuro liked to do the opposite, but he did like being held when he could sit still long enough.

Weird things Kyojuro used to do…I once caught him drinking water from a bowl like a dog when he was three, but that was kind of funny more than weird. I still think his instance on eating worms and other insects he found outside to be weird.

Honesty, neither of them were more attached to one of us over the other, but I guess by default it would be Ruka because I went away on missions. Senjruo was attached to whoever was closest to him at the time.”

Where do I even begin? HAHAHA! Well first, thank you for humoring me by accepting my ask when I first started DL roleplay. You were the very first DL blog I ever interacted with and you're the blog that inspired me to start a DL OC blog. Though I admit that my very first actions were impulsively done since I made the picrews of Lukas and Kai on the spot, and sent it to you the moment it was made. I can see how that was very confusing. HAHAHAHA!

Your blog was also what brought back the spark of motivation to roleplay again. And for that, I cannot thank you enough.

BUT ENOUGH ABOUT THAT! Your portrayal of Ruki is by far the best I've ever seen. You don't hold back and you're always in character. The way you play Ruki is such a huge contrast to who you are as a person. When I first saw your Admin speech, I was so shocked that such a bright person can play this cold Vampire so well. From there, I can tell how much of a great writer you are. To be able to portray Ruki's cold demeanor and sadistic personality so well, while maintaining a cool aura was so perfectly executed!

But I suppose my words may not mean so much as I've revealed to you that I only know DL through reading the wikipedia and has never once delved into the anime, manga, and the game! So I probably don't know Ruki's character that well to say much about your portrayal. I cannot say if it's accurate or out of character, but from what I can tell, as the Wiki guy, your characterization fits perfectly to what I envision Ruki to be. I can tell just how much work you put into perfecting Ruki's character, but at the same time you added your own flair into it, to which I enjoy greatly.

I also want to mention your writing style.

Your writing style is so amazingly done, that I find myself gaining inspiration and taking notes in how to write my own replies. How you dive deep into Ruki's actions and thoughts, how you describe his mannerisms and attitude, how you go on and on about his individuality truly interests me greatly. I always look forward into reading your replies, because most of the time, it doesn't even feel like we're simply roleplaying at all, it felt like we're writing a novel together and that aspect is what draws me in further to anticipate and read your replies.

I cannot stress ENOUGH, that your Ruki is my favorite. In fact, I was never a Ruki fan before. I never paid too much attention to him as my eyes were set on Reiji Sakamaki, but your portrayal and the interactions we had changed my views about Ruki and even, for some Godly reason, pulled me in to love him as well. You seriously just converted me into loving a character I once find too stoic for my liking. How in the world did you do that? More so, what in the world of Makai did you do to me? HAHAHAHA! Although, I'm not complaining one bit, because this experience has also became a favorite of mine and would most likely have a special place in my heart.

If there's one more thing I can say about your portrayal, it's as if you went into the wikipedia of DL, grabbed the entire page on Ruki, and ripped it out and turned it into a real life person. Well, of course, not just wikipedia page but the games as well.

It surprises me sometimes that you're literally a walking Ruki Mukami wiki. You know him so well, both as a character and a person.

I applaud you for everything you've done as Ruki, as well as your writing!

Ah! and thank you for joining the Rukas train with me and for driving it alongside me. Our interactions have become a favorite of mine! And for that, I thank you again.

I don't care if most of your knowledge of the fandom comes from the wiki—which still has me totally shook by the way—it's still such a compliment that you love my portrayal of Ruki!! What matters most is that the way I write him is entertaining for the both of us, regardless of how much you know AHAHA. Ruki and I may have more similarities than you think, but you're totally right. We're quite different more than similar perhaps.

Although, I could say the same exact opposite about you. The way you incorporate certain aspects of your personality into your OC's is very heartwarming and makes them feel that much more real. Through your OC's, it feels like I also learn a lot more about the person behind them as well, which I find exciting!

Also, I'm happy you notice that I enjoy putting my own touch to Ruki as well HAHAHA. After all, interacting with your OC's is forcing him to develop in a different direction in more ways than one, so I'm excited to see what that looks like. If anything, I'm the one who's learning from you about how to describe all of Ruki's mannerisms and feelings. You do such an outstanding job of that with your own OC's, and the way you capture their exact feelings in that moment is very powerful. Your words also cause me to feel what they're feeling, and it's not easy for just anyone to accomplish that. I don't know what the trick is, but you do it phenomenally. Wherever this novel that we're writing together takes us, I'm enjoying every second of the ride.

It means so much that I could drag you down into Ruki hell with me!! We're never getting out of here, by the way. That's just how he is. To be honest with you, overly stoic and cold characters are not usually my type either. They tend to be too serious for my tastes, like you said. But as I played through the games (anime Ruki will NOT show you anything that worthwhile), he shows off so many sides of himself, sides that I wish to capture in my own writing HAHAHA. Underneath that stoicism is a smug, bold, playful, yet caring Vampire believe it or not. Thank you for sticking around despite my over-the-top simpery for this man.

Goodness, I'm just at such a loss for words. If you're the Wiki guy, then I can be the walking Ruki Wiki. It may not be much, but it's honest work. Also it kind of amuses me how you recently got into DL and it's very possible you know more about it than I do now thanks to the wiki LMAO. That's something I forgot to mention in my ask to you. I love how dedicated you are to your OC's and world building that you would have 30+ tabs open of the DL wiki alone. One day I hope to be this dedicated to my own project in the future, whatever that may look like.

Ah, yes!! Rukas!! This ship has stolen my heart, and I root for them every day! Thank you for making Lukas such an adorably loveable character. To be honest, I was fearing for my boy at first, but now I can see they bring out the most adorable sides of each other AHAHAHA. It may be Ruki who is catching feelings for him, but I've totally fallen in love with him as a character too in the process. Maybe I'm biased, but if I ship Ruki with someone then I need to first get hooked onto them myself, haha.

ESTELLE, I LEGIT DON’T KNOW WHERE TO START. THERE’S SO MUCH I WANNA SAY.

First, as soon as you sent me that ask I was immediately hooked onto Lukas, and eventually all of your OC’s too. But my love and appreciation for your writing style definitely started with Lukas. It’s rare for me to find someone who has such a simple, yet compelling way of narrating things. You’re also not afraid to break the fourth wall a little bit, which allows room for a ton of humor in your writing. Honestly, this style has inspired me so much that I began to do it a little too. Okay, maybe a lot. And the amount of feeling you put into it? Omg. That really hits different. You’ve made me want to explore Ruki’s feelings more in my own writing. Gosh, you’ve just inspired me to do so much. Even switch to literate RP, HAHAHHAHA. I’m so happy you sent me that ask. 😭

There is so much to learn from your style as another writer whose first language is English in this community. Not saying there is anything wrong with English as a second language, but now it feels like there is someone who I can look up to and improve my own writing with the more I roleplay with you, so thank you for that. It’s made me really want to step up my roleplay game, since you’d be the first writer I’ve interacted with so much who knows the nuances of the language.

Second, you have so many great ideas and I am excited to see more from you. Honestly, no one has ever got me interested in their OC’s as quickly as you. Maybe it’s something to do with how dense their character info is, or the nuances to how you write them, or perhaps a mix of both. Unfortunately, I can’t even put my finger on it. All I know is that you know how to get someone hooked on your characters which is no easy feat. It makes me want to make Ruki take care of them in his own weird sadistic way. Especially Lukas for hopefully obvious reasons.

Third—and I’m sorry to make it about Rukas—I AM SO IN LOVE WITH THIS SHIP WE’VE MADE, AHAHAHA. RUKAS SUPREMACY, OR SIMPREMACY, WHATEVER YOU WANNA CALL IT. It excites me everyday to see where they will go next. Sorry my boy is taking a long time to warm up to, btw. I just find it more rewarding to crack the tough nut that is Ruki LMAO. They’re so cute together, I just adore them with all my heart. Something about their dynamic just really makes me root for these two with all my heart. You don’t understand how hard it is for me to make Ruki act like such a cold bitch HAHAHAHHA. It’s always so tempting to make him drop the act altogether. But no, I must remain in character—plus, it’s more rewarding this way. It makes the sweeter moments that come after more sweet, I hope. Lukas is such a sweetheart, honestly. At first honestly I was scared for my boy, but now I’m just screaming at my devices like “KISS ALREADY.” Eve who??? I only know Rukas. Also, I am super curious to see how they tackle each other’s problems together. Whenever that day comes, it will be heartwarming to write/read about, I’m sure of it. Thank you for allowing me to show different sides of Ruki through his interactions with the Alischer twins. It’s been such a blast so far, and the amount of excitement I feel to reply to you is insane. It’s really rekindled my love for roleplaying/writing, as someone who hasn’t really written anything for fun until 6 months ago.
