“Lesson learnt: Never piss off a baker that holds your katanas hostage, while you struggle under employee exploitation.” Leonardo yawns, sitting on the sofa he’s made himself comfortable on.
“Ha ha. That’ll teach you to complain about my interior decor.” You call out from the (much smaller) upstairs kitchen next to him, busy toasting some bread and frying up some eggs and ham. The smell wafts over to his snout, and he sniffs the air hungrily before standing up and stretching.
He heads to the bathroom, brushing his teeth with the spare toothbrush you had reluctantly given him during the first night. He freshens up, taking a moment to wink at himself in the mirror to boost his spirits for the (surely) long day ahead.
“Breakfast is ready!” You say, setting down individual plates of food and cutlery. He grabs the cups from the high shelf, fills them with hot tea and sits down. He picks up the fork and knife at his seat, devouring the food like he’d been starved for weeks.
You take a sip of your tea, thinking about how many customers you were expecting today until your eyes linger on Leonardo, who’s eating your food in your house. You begin to wonder when he’d grown so familiar around you since he was the one who stole from you in the first place.
But then again, you were beginning to appreciate the company.
You both ate your food in comfortable silence, and you're grateful, primarily since your brain never really functioned very well in the mornings. You finish quickly, and he brings the now empty plates to the kitchen, where he cleans the dishes.
You stare out the window, absentmindedly fidgeting with your hair as you watch the sunrise slowly shine its gentle rays on the lazy blue hue of the streets, now filling them with warm sunlight.
You continue to sip away at your tea, vaguely aware of Leonardo sitting opposite you, leaning back and noisily slurping his tea. The sound breaks your moment of peace, and your eyebrow twitches in mild annoyance.
He notices this out of the corner of his eye, smirking as he begins slurping louder, smacking his lips in satisfaction as your neutral expression soon turns into mild irritation. “So, have you set up the store yet?” You remind him, satisfaction replacing your annoyance when his eyes widen as you hold the key to the locked cupboard where his katanas are kept.
His lips purse into a grumpy pout. He stands up, walking past you and down the stairs, but not before attempting to grab the key you hold ever-so-tantalizingly in his reach. You swiftly snatch it back, chuckling when he misses and almost falls, his hands gripping the back of your chair just in time.
Leonardo scoffs at the pleased look in your eyes, and you smirk when he grumbles out something about ‘exploitation’ before heading downstairs to set up the store for the day.
The day continues without a hitch, and you signal to Leonardo when guards walk past your store. He hides behind a few tall customers while you attend to others, eyes watching warily for them as you exchange looks of worry.
You both visibly relax when they leave, the tension leaving your shoulders as you exhale in relief. You chuckle, waving goodbye to the customers that leave with delighted smiles and paper bags full of your baked goods.
“That was close.” Leonardo stands beside you, munching on a cookie under his hood. You hit him lightly in the stomach, and he wheezes. You roll your eyes playfully with a grin, having gotten a good grasp on his diva-like tendencies.
“Did you just abuse your employee??” He gasps, hand clutching his chest.
“Wha- No, I didn’t, you drama queen!” You reply, offended by the term he so loosely used.
“All I did was have a simple snack - for my work-life balance, and you hurt me like this??”
“I can and will fire you.” You deadpan.
He gasps once more, amping up the dramatic effect. “And lose the one thing keeping your business running?!”
“And what would that be, exactly?” You raise a brow, arms crossed, with an amused grin.
“Me! The face of the store! The one that keeps all the customers coming with my talented sales tactics and irresistible charm!” He boasts, draping an arm around your shoulder and leaning against it with a cocksure smile as his body bends down to match your height.
“Sure, Prince Charming.” You, in turn, reach your finger under his hood to tilt his chin up, “Whatever helps your bruised ego move forward in life.” You smirk, moving your hand back and letting it fall as he practically gawks at you, outraged by your response.
However, both of you are interrupted from your friendly banter when Mrs. Maude walks over. Your eyes shine in excitement, delighted by her presence as you greet the lovely old lady with a warm smile, welcoming her into your store. She was a regular customer, a sweet grandma who adored your soft rye bread. She always bought the same thing each time: three loaves and a bag of cookies for her grandchildren.
You already start to pack her usual order, nudging Leonardo’s side when he unintentionally blocks you from taking a paper bag to place Mrs. Maude’s order in. He yelps, nudging you back.
“Stop it!” You whisper, glaring at Leonardo out of the corner of your eyes.
“You stop it!” He replies, and you spot him sticking his tongue out childishly. You choke on a flabbergasted gasp, forgetting you’re in front of a customer before you mirror his exact expression. As soon as you remember, you resume your poker face, fighting back the embarrassed flush that threatens to cover your cheeks and neck.
Mrs. Maude has a twinkle in her eyes when you sheepishly meet her gaze, and you tilt your head in curiosity.
“I couldn’t help but overhear your earlier argument, but I just have to say that the both of you are such a lovely couple!” She compliments, taking the light package you just packed for her. You and Leonardo pause in the middle of your childish squabble, turning to face her with baffled smiles.
“Oh, we’re not-”
“Puh-lease.” he snorts, cutting you off. Your brows furrow, eyes narrowing into a glare when you process his words.
“Excuse me? You’d be lucky to even have me.” You cross your arms with a huff, insulted by the implication that you weren’t attractive.
Sure, maybe your hair was a bit frizzy from all the hot water you constantly shower with, and maybe your hands aren’t the softest from all the baking you do, but you at least thought you were at least somewhat decent-looking.
“Reminds me of how Warren and I used to argue,” Mrs. Maude chuckles. “Keep him around, dear. And she’s right,” she adds, looking pointedly at him, “if you don’t treat her right, others will.”
The both of you exchange unsure smiles, trying to brush off her words. You wave her off with a smile, but the atmosphere’s already changed, buzzing with uncomfortable silence as Leonardo coughs, starting to attend to other customers.
— — — — — — — —
The air was awkward, thanks to Mrs. Maude’s comments from earlier. You had subconsciously started to avoid him for the rest of the day and were beginning to suspect he was doing the same.
Neither of you wanted to admit it, but you felt the small glances occasionally and were sure he felt yours too. You grab ahold of the large, empty crates, trying to clear the kitchen in preparation for the last three days of the festival. You feel it being lifted from your arms without a word, Leonardo easily carrying it to the back.
You watch him leave, a foreign emotion rising in your chest. That was a really nice gesture. You sit down on the stool, taking a moment to rest. This is ridiculous. He’s a turtle yokai, and you’re a human. Nothing would happen between the both of you. Nothing could happen between the both of you.
— — — — — — — —
She’s just a friend.
Leo grabs a kitchen knife, dismantling the crates like his body is on autopilot. He vaguely registers his hands moving, shaking his head when he finds himself thinking about Mrs. Maude’s comments again, out of the countless times he's caught himself doing so.
This cannot be happening. He starts to feel the tingles of panic, making itself home in the corner of his mind, looking away from the arch. He forces down the lurch of fear in his throat, clearing it and dismantling the last of the boxes.
Nothing could ever happen between the both of you. Why? You’re a human, and he’s a yokai. You probably would never entertain the thought, maybe even outrightly show disgust.
But what if you didn’t?
His breath hitches at the thought and upon standing up, he looks up at the ceiling as he fights the internal battle of emotions in his heart. Nothing could happen between the both of you; you’re just friends, after all.
That’s what you are; a friend, he reminds himself, approaching you who’s staring off into space. He taps your shoulder, heart jumping in his chest when you gaze up at him with a start. He gestures to the stairs leading into the upper floor of your living space, raising a brow when your stomach rumbles.
He watches the colour rise to your cheeks, your embarrassed smile contagious as he finds himself mirroring a cheesy grin. He catches himself, toning down his smile to appear calmer. You don’t notice, already heading upstairs.
He takes a deep breath, hand pressed against his forehead to check his almost-feverish temperature before he follows you upstairs for dinner.
She’s just a friend.
— — — — — — — —
You use your fork to push around the peas on your plate, your appetite disappearing for the night. You look up, noticing that Leonardo is in a similar state. You’re unsure how to break the ice, almost wishing you have a knife sharp enough to slice through it.
Or did you?
You pick up your knife and fork, having second thoughts about what you’re about to do. But you push them aside, deciding to press on.
You lift up your arms, making a straight face while starting a sawing motion through the air between you. This catches his attention, and he breaks out of his daze to look at you with eyes full of confusion.
“Don’t mind me, I’m just,” you pause for dramatic effect, “cutting the tension.”
The silence that comes next makes your cheeks burn. But you refuse to break your poker face and look away from him.
A slow smile makes its way onto his lips, eyes lighting up as Leonardo visibly struggles to hold back his laughter. You’re about to break any moment. “I don’t think it’s the sharpest tool in the shed.” He quips with an emotionless voice, though the spark of mischief in his eyes makes a laugh bubble to the surface that you fight to swallow.
And just like that, the uneasy vibe dissipates.
Relaxed grins are shared, and both your appetites return. He does the washing up as usual, but it’s slightly different this time.
“Thanks,” You say lightly, quickly averting your gaze and acting nonchalant. He raises his brows, surprised at your sudden acknowledgement. His eyes soften.
“Anytime.”
— — — — — — — —
“Wanna take a walk to digest dinner?” Leonardo asks, grabbing his cloak and fastening the clasp that allows the material to fully conceal his body. You nod, placing the dry dishes back on the shelf.
“But won’t the guards find this,” you gesture to his entire being, “suspicious?”
He chuckles, “I have a different route in mind.”
— — — — — — — —
“Tell me again why we’re on the rooftop?” You ask, clinging to your chimney with all the strength you can muster.
“C’mon, scaredy cat. Don’t tell me you’re a little scared.” Leonardo is perfectly balanced on the slanted roof, hands on his hips as he glances up at you with his hood down.
You glare at the obvious provocation, hesitantly letting go. As if you’re scared. You’ve faced many threats before! Granted, most of them were baking-related, but still! It takes skill and calm to overcome them.
You grab the hand he holds out, not caring about how tightly you’re grasping it nor the sweaty palms that seem to make him shudder slightly.
“On the count of three, jump.” He instructs.
“Three?” You cry, beginning to regret saying yes to the walk.
“Three!”
Before you can process the suddenness of it all, he jumps onto the next rooftop, pulling you along by your arm as you have no choice but to follow. Your breath hitches as soon as your feet leave the safe reliance of the ground, landing on the roof and almost falling flat on your face.
“You said on the count of three!” You say breathlessly, heart racing in your chest.
“I did. I said three.” Leonardo shrugs nonchalantly, ignoring the weak punch you throw at his arm. “But hey! You did it! Only thirty more to go!”
“Thirty?!” You gasp, not ready to go through that thirty more times.
“Hey, it’s either that or get caught by the guards for harbouring a known fugitive.” He points out. You frown.
“Fine.”
You continue to grip his arm tightly, and he’s sure you’ve now ripped it off at how numb it is. Your heart pounds in your chest like a thousand suns wreaking havoc upon the earth, and you’re nothing short of breathless. You did, however, appreciate how he waited patiently for you to catch your breath and calm down before continuing.
The both of you eventually reach the forest at the town’s edge, and you glance at him suspiciously. You’re skeptical, and he can sense it from your stare.
“What?”
“You’re not gonna kill me in there, are you?” You ask, apprehensive of his intentions. He barks out a laugh.
“With what??”
“I don’t know, a branch or something?” You cross your arms, but amusement is written all over his face.
“Yeah, ‘cause I’ll take you down and get my katanas back with a leaf.”
You step into the forest ahead of him; the unamused expression on your face only makes him chuckle. “Where’re you going?” He calls out from behind you, jogging to catch up.
“Off to find a good leaf.” That triggers another bout of his laughter, the slow upturn of your lips revealing your mild amusement.
“Well, I know a place where we can get loads.”
“What’re we waiting for? Lead the way to your weapon of choice.” Comes your quick-witted reply. He wipes the corner of his eyes, tears having formed from his earlier fits of laughter.
“Don’t mind if I do.” He offers his arm to you like a gentleman would. And as his friend, you take it. He guides you to a clutter of rocks covered in moss and vines, and you’re sure at this point that you’re really going to get murdered in the woods. With a leaf, no less.
Your hand is still on his arm, and you watch him scan the area before ducking his head and disappearing past the vines. You follow, and he guides you past the camouflage entrance into a plain covered in the soft grass and scattered flowers that dot the field.
A tower towers over the both of you, the soft roar of the waterfall behind it a sight to behold. You stare at it, open-mouthed in disbelief and unaware that you have stopped walking. You take in the scenery, brows raised when you don’t see an entrance into it besides a window at the top.
“C’mon,” Leonardo calls you over with a soft smile, offering his back to you.
“Excuse me?” You raise a brow, and he glances expectantly from the top of the tower to you. You stare back blankly until it hits you a few seconds later.
“No.”
— — — — — — — —
“I hate you; I hope you know that.” You seethe with your eyes squeezed shut, arms gripping his plastron so tightly that you can sense that he’s struggling to breathe. Good. You’re not risking your life for naught. If you went down, so would he.
You sense him finally stop moving, eyes slowly opening to see you’re on the wooden ledge of the tower’s window beside him, the only entrance into it. “This is what you brought me here for? An abandoned tower?”
“Look up.” He grins. And so you do, the breathtaking sight leaving you speechless. You gasp in delight, stunned by the dark navy blue of the night sky. Stars dot the canvas of blue in indescribable patterns, and you even spot one that looks like your initials.
Then he had to ruin it.
— — — — — — — —
Leo’s entire body practically vibrates from how excited he is at your reaction. He’s reminded of the first time he discovered this place, his awed expression like yours — mouth agape with wonder and eyes filled with joy.
“You can say it.” He voices out with a teasing lilt from beside you, leaning against the wooden frame with a smug grin. He watches you turn to face him with a puzzled expression, a frown on your rose-tinted lips.
You’re reluctant to say it, and he can sense it.
“Thank you.”
“What was that?” He leans closer, hands cupping his ears as if he didn’t hear it the first time. He spots you, closing your eyes, cheeks red from the admittance. He hides a smile, overjoyed at how priceless your expression is.
“Thank you.” You say it more forcibly this time, and he sits back with a joyful laugh, knowing that if he pushed any further, he’d end up pissing you off.
“So, how’d you find this place, Leonardo?” You ask.
He hums in thought; where to begin?
“Well, I might’ve been running from the palace after stealing some uranium out of the kindness of my heart for my brother’s dear inventions. I tripped over a rock and tumbled past the rocks and into this area. Luckily, no one saw me, so I waited it out and went back home after night fell, and the guards were gone.”
“Your brother must be pretty smart to utilize uranium. Not even the King and Queen mess around with it. It’s way more powerful than the Sun Flower. What does he use it for?” You ask innocently, pure curiosity in your eyes.
How could he refuse to answer when you looked at him like that?
He hesitates momentarily.
“If it’s private, you don’t have to share it with me.” You say hastily, realizing how insensitive that must’ve been.
“No, it’s okay,” He says hurriedly, not wanting you to feel bad. “I just wanted to do something nice for him. I was just around the area but didn’t really manage to pull off the heist successfully. So I found a nice little test tube rack for Donnie instead!”
Your eyes soften at the explanation, watching him rub the back of his neck and averting his gaze. You place your hand on his arm, smiling gently at him. “That’s really sweet of you, Leonardo. You must really love them.”
He meets your gaze, a hesitant yet shy smile tugging his lips upwards as a funny sensation snakes its way into his heart. His mind goes blank; the way you say his name is like honey to his ears.
Maybe she’s not just a friend.
The words tumble past his lips before he can process them.
“Call me Leo.”
— — — — — — — —
You wake up the next day, the starry night sky comforting you even in your dreams, with the blurred sensation of his arm brushing against yours.
You leave your bed, heading downstairs to start a new day.
"Leo!" You call out, "Do you want any breakfast?" You wait for a response, but it never comes.
"Leo?" You frown, approaching the couch in the small living room that you had set up.
His usual crumpled blanket was neatly folded, and the pillows were all arranged properly. It looked as if no one had ever stayed there, much less taken up residence in your home.
A needle of worry starts to prick your gut, lips pursing as you scan the room.
"Leo?" You continue to call out, heading downstairs to the store.
It was empty.
You continue to search for your friend, starting to panic when he's nowhere in sight. Even his katanas aren't in the cupboard anymore, the promise from the first night breaking easily in the result of this morning.
You sit down on your bed, your heart sinking in your chest as you finally come to terms with the situation.
Leo's gone.

Disaster Twins w/ Magical Girl Crush
rottmnt leo x fem!magicalgirl!reader
rottmnt donnie x fem!magicalgirl!reader
summary: you didn’t mean to keep your magic from the guys. it just didn’t seem important until now. it’s not a big deal, really, you’re just an anime style magical girl.
word count: 391
a/n: i went into this thinking the magical girl thing would be the tough part. no. it was the tomboy part. sorry if that bit is a little brushed over, thanks for requesting!

Leo . . .
right off the bat he’s just kind of screaming about why didn’t you tell him
he’s your best friend he’s supposed to know these things
but don’t worry, he forgives you, now give him all the details
despite the initial “you traitor why didn’t you tell me”
(assuming your uniform/outfit would be a dress/skirt)
he’s honest to god more weirded out by the skirt than the magic
i mean magic is a dime in a dozen nowadays
but this is unusual. it’s just a very different aesthetic yknow
speaking of, if you have an aesthetic, he will try to match it whenever you’re out together
you know leo he’s going to make dumb jokes.
anime jokes no one laughs at
running gag of asking about magical powers he knows you don’t have
eg: “hey, did that cat just insult me?” “leo, for the last time, i cannot talk to animals-“
out of nowhere you’re just in the lair one time scrolling on your phone
“wow, (y/n). you sure you don’t have love magic?”
“what”
“what”
Donnie . . .
he has a whole crisis
you know the episode with the yokai witches and all that?? if this happens pre that episode he will loose it briefly
“WHY ARE YOU MAGIC. WHY IS EVERYONE MAGIC NOW.”
you were probably the last person on his list to be magical, especially sailor freakin’ moon style magical
did sailor moon ever fall out of a tree she climbed as a dare?? did sailor moon ever randomly show up with a black eye and refuse to elaborate??
maybe she did. he didn’t know, he’d only seen two episodes at mikey’s hand
he does, however, want to know the source
is it from some kind of relic? mystic weapon? or something entirely different from the other magic stuff he’s seen
if you have a wand he wants to experiment on it.
(don’t let him experiment on it.)
(don’t.)
(seriously bad plan.)
he also questions the physics of magical girl outfit changes
he questions a lot of things really. he’s donnie what can you expect
from now on any gifts he makes for you will be made with your powers in mind
it might get a bit ridiculous but hey. he’s trying. it’s his love language. accept it.
don’t worry, he won’t pull a donnie’s gifts repeat with you

Hi, can i request HC platonic little sister (female reader she/her), who wants to make her 4 brothers happy?
Like she knows mikey wanted that famous rare cooking book that got sold out years ago and she comes up to him saying " hey mikey, close your eyes and give me your hands, i swear it's not a prank! " and when she gives him he gets so shocked he almost cry and scream of joy at the same time.
She do the same with her 3 older brothers because she loves going so far to make them happy.
( in case you couldn't find a thing that may make the brothers so happy may i suggest; a poster of leo with lou outfit back when he was fighting in BNC, for Donnie a rare computer chip, and for raph she sew a ghost bear - she hates him btw - teddy bear big size for raph).
If this request is too much then please feel free to ignore/delete it.
Okay that's honestly so cute, I love that idea ♡
━═━═━═━═━
Little presents
Tumblr media
• you never thought you'll find yourself considering four mutant turtles your older siblings
• but it did happened somehow
• and you were really grateful for that
• there wasn't any boring moment with them, always having some sort of fun activity going on like Mikey teaching you how to cook, Leo showing you his favorite Lou Jitsu scenes or doing tricks with his blue portals that you had no idea how they worked, Donnie explaining to you how he build his inventions even tho you didn't understand any word he said or Raph showing you the best ways to protect yourself in the dojo
• they cared for you deeply and you cared for them
• that's why you decided to repay them for their kindness, you really wanted to make them happy just like they made you
• it wasn't easy but being a really determined kid you went on a mission to get your brothers some presents (April helped you get some of them because she was a little concerned you could get in trouble doing this all on your own and almost got a heart attack more times she wanted to admit)
• when you achieved your task successfully it was time to deliver the items to each of the turtles
• first on your list was Mikey
• and when I tell you he was extremely happy I mean he was absolutely delighted when you handed him that super rare cooking book that got sold out years ago and no one was printing it anymore
• he definitely picked you up spinning around and giggling saying "thank you" repeatedly with the biggest grin you ever saw
• he did question tho were did you get that and you started to tell him a story about that cool old book shop you found somewhere in a weird alley where cashier looked like a big owl, how she was very nice too and helped you look for this book
• Mikey thought he would pass out because how the hell did you get into the Hidden city- oh, you ran off already
• the next turtle was Leo, who you were able to find doing tricks on a skateboard
• when he saw you he momentarily stopped and asked what's up and why you and Mikey were so loud earlier, he stopped when he saw you handing him something
• he thought he would cry when he realized it was a poster - with him AND Lou Jitsu
• that was, like, the coolest thing ever
• he didn't even asked where did you get that, just thanked you million times and went to the first person he saw (which was Mikey, going to kitchen with his new cooking book) to brag about him being your favorite brother because "have you seen what cool pesent she gave me? none of you got something this awesome-"
• your next stop was a lab, so you knocked in a irregular pattern - a code that Donnie taught you so he knew it was you
• when the doors opened you went straight to the chair he was sitting at, tinkering with things you did not recognize
• not wanting to interrupt him, you slowly slid a little square to him, finally catching Donnie's attention, he lifted his mismatched goggles and examined onject and upon recognising what it was he let out a verbal "gasp!"
• Donnie isn't very good at expressing his gratitude but the excited sparkle in his eyes resured you he really liked that computer chip that he tried to get a grasp on for quiet some time now and even though you may not understand what exactly was so special about it, seeing the turtle so happy was enough to make your efforts on getting it worth
• and speaking of that "I am grateful for this thoughtful gift but, uh, could you enlighten me on how did you get into a possession of something so-"
• you, again, decided to disappear into thin air
• finally, the last one on your list, the oldest big brother, Raph
• finding him was easy, it was the time of the day for his training, so you headed to the dojo, already hearing him from afar
• announcing your arrival, not wanting to accidentally get hit, he greeted you with a smile and pat on the head
• the gift you had for him was probably the only one you did yourself (okay, maybe not entirely by yourself but for the most part that was true) - a Ghost Bear plushie, almost as big agroun
• your heard that he liked him, you not so much after hearing about his evil doings, but if it's what would make your older brother happy then so be it
• maybe for you it was not perfect, in some parts steaches were visible, but for Raph it was indeed perfect and he couldn't dream of a better present, which was clearly indicated by the loud thumping of his tail repeatedly hitting the ground
• "it's really amazing! and it's detailed too, just like you have seen him while sewing!.. wait-"
• let's say, you did end up with you making your brothers extremely happy
• and extremely concerned at the same time
• good luck with explaining where did you get all those gifts ^^

Alright! Hello again! I hope if you can please accept this request of mine; Rottmnt hc of rise leo & little sister reader?
(Platonic) (reader is a mutant ninja turtle like her brothers & also mikey's twin) (her signature color can be pink 🩷)
The plot about reader who admires her older Leonardo, as Mikey admires and favorite Donnie, reader admires leo & spends most of her time with him.
That & how sometimes mikey & reader fight over who's best; leo or Donnie?
Reminds Cas of their OC Venus! Well, she’s teal but… whatever!
Very cool request, bro!
I also drew her and I love her now! :] - Mod Cas
Tumblr media
GENERAL HEADCANONS
You and Mikey are the glue of the family
And, unlike with Leo and Donnie, you guys are ACTUAL twins. Same species and stuff. Which technically makes you the only full siblings? Funky
You’re not identical twins though, in fact, you have (e/c) eyes while he has brown and blue or your eyes are just a different shade
And just like Mikey, you are absolutely ADORABLE
Unlike Mikey and your other brothers though, you are SHY AS HELL
Which your brothers do try to help you with but Leo is the most charismatic and outgoing one so he naturally tended to teach you more about that stuff
Which is why you two are closer :]
Your brothers are MUCH more protective over you than they are of Mikey
You are secretly better at manipulating people than your brothers are and no one suspects you are the dangerous one considering how sweet and shy you are!
^ It’s always the quiet ones istg…
Your weapon is the bow, otherwise known as the Yumi! And you are FRIGHTENINGLY good at shooting - honestly, intimidates the hell out of anyone that sees it
LEO HEADCANONS
Since you admire him so much you try to spend most of your time near him, trailing after him or always joining his Team if you guys have to split up.
You tend to, as he says, “stalk him”. Really, you just kinda trail behind him like a lost puppy.
You are literally his favorite sibling now
And you seem to be the only one to see through the arrogant façade which terrifies him
But… a part of him likes that you can see through the mask
Probably one of the few ones who genuinely laugh or giggle at his jokes and puns, often trying to make some yourself. You even research puns and jokes so you can be like him
“People love my one-liners! They always fire up the team!”
^ You being the only one that nods along to it
Once in a while your dear twin and you get into a little banter on who is the better one from the disaster twins. You of course being Team Leo and Mikey Team Donnie.
It often stays as little Nu-uhs and Yuh-uhs but can break off into full blown arguments
“LEO’S THE FUNNIEST!”
“NO, DONNIE’S THE FUNNIEST!”
●"AT LEAST LEO DOESN'T CALL HIMSELF A "BAD BOY" !"
●"WELL AT LEAST DONNIE USES HIS BRAIN AND DOESN'T JUST RELY ON HIS LOOKS!"
*Insert offended gasp of Leo-*
Raph, much to his disappointment, is usually forced to pick who’s right
Leave my boi alone :’)
He tired of your shit :’)
“FINE THEN! I’M TAKING (Y/N) AND LEAVING! Come on, sweetie.”
“... That’s enough Monopoly for today…”
You’re accidentally each other’s wingmen? Like, Leo’s doing it on purpose for you, but you’re accidentally his wingman by him just being sweet to you and that causes the other person to fall for him?

Dawn of a New Day
(Future Leo x reader)
<<Previous Part//Next Part>>
Chapter II: Double Trouble
Leo hadn’t slept that well in years, a nice warm bed with clean, fresh-smelling sheets he almost didn’t want to leave. But decades of being hyper-vigilant to noises of the Krang made him wake up just as the sun was beginning to peak through the blinds. Leo took a deep breath snuggling his face into the sheets, the bee plush pressed tight against his plastron. There was the soft clattering of what sounded like pots from next door, and the sound of the shower running above him both sounds caused him to stir even more awake. Eventually, he sat up allowing the sheets to fall around his body as his thoughts caught up to his muddled brain. Leo’s tongue felt dry and vaguely remembered you or Nana saying something about serving breakfast since he has no food and no money and can’t remember the streets of New York like he once did as a kid. He made his way over to the drawers noting fresh clothes that smelled faintly of rose and cedar, so unlike the stench of mud and blood that clung to him like glue in the apocalypse. He paused for a moment looking around the room before lifting up his arm and sniffing it, he made a face of disgust deciding instead to head to the bathroom first. His heart thrumming excitedly in his veins at the prospect of a warm shower, he made his way over to the shower sluggishly stretching his arm in the air and hearing it pop satisfyingly. He slipped off the pajama pants you had supplied him with and fumbled for a few moments with the shower, trying to figure out how to make the damn thing work. It seemed the first try was unsuccessful because water sprayed all over the top of his head. Leo let out a grunt and a string of curses jumping away from the spray of icy water that now trailed down his face and neck.
“Fucking son of a…” He grumbled rubbing the top of his shell slowly waiting for the water to warm, he didn’t step back in until the air in the bathroom was filled with steam. He moaned feeling the hot water on his skin, soothing his aching bones almost like magic. The decades worth of caked-up dust and grime slid down his body and down the drain in a dark brown swirl, the soap on his skin helped get off anything that was particularly stuck on his body. He felt like a new mutant, well as new as an amputee thrown into the past can be at least, he let the water drip from his body as he stepped out into the steam. A loud, albeit broken, churr came from his throat as he wrapped a towel around his waist he almost screamed when he opened the door to see you standing there with a pile of clothes in your hands. “Fancy seeing you here-” He sputtered blood rushing up into his cheeks as he not so casually leaned against the doorway with his good arm. Praying the towel did not fall from his hips, he was calm, cool, and collected. The face man, the flirt, the ladies man and man’s man that was Leo- oh god you were just staring at him with rosy cheeks say something, please-
“Ah sorry,” You let out a soft squeak pulling the clothes tightly to your chest, “Nana couldn’t remember if she filled the drawers and wanted me to deliver some clothes- I was gonna just leave them outside the door.”
“It’s alright pumpkin.” Leo laughed breathlessly, you were just as flustered as he was, “Hand ‘em over.” He held out his hand and you placed the clothing in his palm, your dainty hands brushing against his own. It was soft, softer than anything he’s felt in a while, what that man wouldn’t give to have that hand- N-KNEE-WAY-HEY. He smiled down at you softly and the towel unceremoniously fell down around his hips, not that anything had dropped for you to see but you made a choking sound and covered your eyes reflexively. “S-shit sorry!”
“It’s okay! I-”
“Breakfast is downstairs when you’re ready! Sososo sorry!” You sputtered shyly smashing your face once into the hardwood siding of the doorframe, he winced sucking in a breath through his teeth before watching you stumble out of the room. Not the best first impression this morning but also not the worst he’s ever had either,
“Shit Leo, snap out of it. She’s just an attractive young woman you’ve dealt with many of them before.” Leonardo looked down at the clothes in his hand, a cobalt blue flannel and a pair of what looked to be comfy grey sweatpants. He brought the shirt up to his nose briefly smelling the same laundry scent as before but ever so subtly mixed with the very distinct scent of you. He groaned inwardly and could practically feel Donnie leaning over his shoulder clicking his tongue in distaste,
“Really? Scoff has ladies' man Leon really lost his touch this much? This is what get’s you going old man? Vanilla smells and a nice pair of-”
“Alright enough.” He slapped his cheeks while shaking his head, ridding himself of the voice of his late brother before slipping on the casual clothes you had given him. They fit nicely and he briefly wondered how you knew his size since he was so much bigger compared to his younger self. He tied off one sleeve in a nice knot where his arm was nothing but a stub in order for it to not get in the way of any of his duties for the day. Leo took a few steps towards the door freezing momentarily to glance at his katanas, his tongue felt dry in his mouth as his fingers twitched hesitantly. Realistically, he knew he could leave them, what kind of danger would there be in a kitchen where yokai children and their parents ate…He strapped his swords to the back of his shell.
The complex was much more lively than he would’ve expected in the mornings, two kids ran past him almost tripping over one another.
“Iris! Aether! Be careful!” A sheep yokai called from next door, stress evident in her green eyes but even still she gave Leo a friendly wave. He let out a soft laugh at the children's antics before sending her a wave back, “Just moved in?”
“Er…Yeah. Leo.” He pointed to himself dumbly,
“Addie,” She smiled warmly and Leo swallowed thickly, his heart wanted to trust her but his head told him logically no one was trustworthy everyone, even nice sheep ladies, had an objective. “Sorry about the kids. They get excited in the mornings, especially ‘round breakfast, if they bother you don’t hesitate to let me know.” Leo noticed the lack of a ring on her finger but didn’t push the issue further,
“Nah. They’re fine, my brothers and I were much worse as kids. I’ll deal,” He winked over at her and she flushed a little the fur on her cheeks poofing rather cutely. “They’re cute though, yours?” Leo motioned for her to follow him down to breakfast, she smoothed out her long skirt, before following the turtle mutant.
“Yes,” She nodded and the lack of explanation did not go unnoticed, he briefly remember you or maybe Nana telling him that everyone here had their own story. He remembers Splinter telling him trust, for many people, needs to be earned and it’s something not so freely given. He hoped one day she’d be able to share his story with him and he’d share him in return. However, the thought of sharing his story still made his stomach churn unpleasantly “Iris is seventeen now and Aether is about to turn twelve in the fall.” The sheep hummed and Leo noticed how much her eyes softened, “You moved in last night? I remember Nana mentioning another guest?”
“Ah yeah.” Leo mused, “that’s me. Trying to get to know anyone who’ll let me know them,”
“You’re always welcome in my home. If you need anything just ask, I’m sure Aether would love to talk your ear off about your katanas. Little troublemaker.” Addie laughed and placed a soft hand on his arm, her skin was warm to the touch and Leo almost melted. Was every older woman here a certified mother figure? Or was it just the ones he’s talked to? “Oh, dear…” Addie tutted softly quickly making her way into the kitchen, “Darling please they know how to get their own food at this point.”
“It’s okay Adelaide.” He heard your laugh, he flushed hearing it walking into the kitchen quietly to go unnoticed momentarily. You were surrounded by kids of all ages pawing at your pants eager to get at the breakfast you were keeping from them. “It’s not a problem, I love to cook for you all you know that.” Leo watched as Addie let out a huff in response,
“You may love to cook but you work too hard for us. At least let me help,”
“Okay, okay,” You relented handing the plate of muffins into Addie’s hands who seemed to corral the kids with the grace that only a mother had. His heart ached momentarily thinking about Cass and Casey, hoping that they were able to reconnect in this timeline.
“Hey space cadet,” He blinked seeing you peering up at him with a cheeky smile, “special breakfast for you in the back. C’mon.” You motioned for him to follow,
“You didn’t have to…”
“I wanted to. When’s the last time you’ve had a proper breakfast.”
Leo was silent, clicking his tongue reluctantly giving into your look, “A while.”
“Thought so. Hope you like breakfast pizza.”
BAM! CUE THE HEARTS! CUE THE ARROW! SHOT THROUGH THE HEART! SWOON!
“Love it-” His voice cracked embarrassingly, “You made it?”
“Hmhm. I mean Nana had the dough and I improvised everything else. Oh wow,” He heard you laugh no doubt at how fast he was digging into the food as soon as it was in his line of sight. Okay. Now he could die happy. This was the best pizza he’s ever tasted, he was only somewhat aware of the cheese dripping out of his mouth. If this was a death-induced dream he didn’t want to wake up, he made a sound eyes blowing wide seeing you sitting on the table next to him a napkin in your hand. He put the pizza down, swallowing what was in his mouth before taking the napkin from you and brushing his fingers against your own. A zap of electricity was sent along his fingers through his body and down his spine, his pupils grew three sizes as you stared at him with a shy smile. “Good?”
“Hmhm-”
Nice one Leo. Real smooth.
He watched you open your mouth to say something else when a loud shriek was heard from the other room. Both of you stood up tensely, Leo’s hand was on his katana and unsheathed it in one swift motion, eyes pure white. His body was in front of yours in an instant as the door burst open,
“(Y/n)! Dearest Darling! Nana told me you’d be in here!- ough boy-”
Leo blinked, in front of him was his teenage self acting all prideful and cocky, desperate for your attention like the teenager he was. Living life like he’s never done a thing wrong, this life was the one his future self wished for so desperately as he stared down death in the apocalypse. Was this Leo even grateful for the life he was living now? Or does he waste it even still? His jaw clenched as the boy’s body went completely slack holding up a hand and open-mouthed staring,
“You’re me!”
“Eloquently said,” Leo grumbled and he watched you look back and forth between the two of them, “Er. Mind getting the door Pumpkin,”
“Pumpkin-” Younger him sputtered entire face a deep scarlet as he watched you walk past nervously twiddling with your hands. “Wait hold on!” His younger self grabbed your shoulders and turned you to face him, “When did THIS,” He motioned to his older self, “HAPPEN!”
“Um, last night?”
“And you didn’t call?” Leonardo groaned slumping against your body with dramatic flare, “this is life-changing stuff!”
“He needed to get settled ‘Nardo! Nana said-”
“Yeah, yeah, yeah, Nana’s always right.” You shot his younger self a look that was scalding and he wilted, Leo would also wilt if that glare was directed at him. “What’re you smirking at!” His younger self shouted at him,
“Just watching you fumble your way around talking to her.”
“Why you-”
“Boys.” You scolded, “Get along. Leo, you said Casey was coming with you today right?”
Leo’s heart jumped in his chest, “like Casey Junior or Cassandra?”
You gave him a heart-melting smile, voice, and tone, “Casey. We called him last night.”
Angel. You were a pure angel.
“Is that why he was sobbing so loud on the phone? We couldn’t get the kid to stop.”
Devil. His younger self was Satan reincarnated. Was he really this annoying?
“Leo…” You trailed off softly huffing at the kid, “you just ditched him?”
“I figured he needed time!” He argued eyes darting to his older self only to see his fingers twitch at his side, “I made him mad…” Leo stage whispered in your direction,
“No shit.” You snapped slapping the back of Leo’s head, “Um Leo?” You tried glancing over at the future him. “Can I call-”
“Leon. I’ll go by Leon.” He smiled gently at you, “So it’s less confusing.” You looked relieved,
“Leon alright, let’s not kill one another here okay?” You walked over to Leon and placed a hand on his bicep gently, “I don’t even wanna know what that’ll do to the timeline or whatever’s left of it.”
“Don’t worry I can handle myself.” Leon hummed softly, and Leo sent him a glare,
“Well so can I!” He argued grabbing your arm from the other side, “I bet I can handle myself way more than his idiota.”
“Seu espanhol parece uma merda, filho da puta.” Leon smirked sticking out his tongue, “fique na sua faixa garoto .” Leon could tell you were barely following if at all and Leo gasped in horror red rushing into his cheeks, not from embarrassment but from anger.
“I’m not a kid!”
“You are actually, hold old are you seventeen?”
“Nineteen actually!” Leo snapped back voice breaking, eyes shifting over to you, oh hell no. Considering he felt way too old to date you Leo was way too young and WAY too immature he would know, “N-not that it matters.” From behind them, the door slammed open once more, and standing in the doorway was a heavy-breathing, bleary-eyed Casey Junior and Leon let go of your arm. He stumbled forward a few steps vaguely aware that you and Leo were mumbling behind him, his arm reached open a crooked smile spreading across his face.
“Hey, kid.” He choked wetly,
“Sensei!” Casey hollered running into Leon’s arms, throwing his hands around his neck, and began sobbing loudly. Leo squeezed him tight with his good arm, he looked older hair was a little longer but less choppy. Casey had clearly grown a few inches and the clothes he was in were fresh and unsoiled by the apocalypse, “I did it. I stopped it, I stopped everything.”
“I know. And I’m so proud of you Casey.”
Another choked sob spilled from Casey’s throat, “how are you here?” He hiccuped against his chest,
“I don’t know. I think Mikey played a part in it, I don’t fucking know but I’m happy to be here.” Leo soothed Casey softly his fingers bunching up his shirt, “You being fed? Do you have a proper shelter? Are you being protected okay?”
He laughed pulling away while rubbing his eyes, “I don’t need to be protected Sensei, I’m not a kid anymore. But yes, I have a family and a home, not just with you and your brothers but April’s family took me in.”
“Thank fucking god.”
“Hey!” Leo shouted, “what’s that supposed to mean!”
“It means when I was your age I could barely keep a plant alive let alone a kid.”
“Oh shut up old man!”
“Make me, squirt.”
“Oh- hoho- is that a challenge I smell?” Leo pulled out his katanas imbuing them with mystic energy, “With one hand you really think you could beat the ninja master Leonardo?”
“Easily.” Leon spun the katana around in his hand with a hum sending a wink your way, which caused you to flush. Leo didn’t seem to like that very much and called your name to regain your attention,
“Watch me kick his old man's ass.”
“Are you really going to let them duke it out in the dining hall?” Casey murmured rubbing his eyes and standing beside you,
“You know how they get. Once Leo sets his mind to something nothing’s going to be able to change his mind.” You responded handing Casey a tissue which he took gratefully,
“Leon!”
“Hm?”
“Try not to break anything!”
“Whatever you say Pumpkin!”
“Stop calling her that!” The two ninjas' katana clashed together, sparks of blue lightning bouncing in every direction Leon had a rather feral look in his eyes and a grin that split across his face.
“Why?” Leon’s voice was low and teasing, “jealous?” Leo let out a frustrated growl before stepping back a few paces and lunging at his future self. Leon dropped low into a split causing Leo to make a distressed sound stumbling into the rough landing. He made quick work of sweeping his feet and knocking Leo flat on his ass before he could fully regain his balance. Your jaw dropped and Casey let out a loud cheer,
“Who’s side are you on Case!” Leo groaned standing back up onto his feet,
“Whoever’s winning.”
“What the fu-OUGH.” Leo groaned attempting to stand as his body was then kicked into the nearby wall, his future self flipped and effectively pinned Leo to the wall. He leaned close much to Leo’s utter dismay,
“I know you think you know everything, or that you’re the hero because you did what I couldn’t but you’re wrong.” Leon spoke lowly katana just barely pressing Leo’s pulse point, Leo audibly swallowed pupils shrinking, “She’s way too old for you and too good for either of us, so stop trying.”
“You just want her for yourself!”
“Maybe partly, like you said we never say no to a challenge.”
“You bastard.”
“Now what does all this say about you hm?”
“That I have a thing for older women so what?” He shot back trying to keep his voice down cheeks blood red. “I mean have we seen who we’re talking about here?”
“I have and you need to keep it in your pants lest you fuck up big time amigo.” Leon stepped away and sheathed his katana back in its place with a hum, “I win.” Both Casey and you began to clap for him and Leon did a deep bow waving his hand as if to ask for more praise from the two of you.
“Nice job Sensei!” Casey hummed pleasantly and Leon sent him a thumbs up,
“Your old man has still got it, Casey.” Leon then drew his eyes up to you with a grin, he wiggled his nonexistent eyebrows suggestively.
“Congradulations you did amazing! Leo, you did well too, let's get the both of you some ice.” You cooed softly clapping your hands together “We don’t want the others to see your poor attempts at getting along?”
“Others?” Leon murmured following behind you like a lost puppy, Leo burgundy followed behind you and Casey.
“Your brothers will be arriving for dinner. They usually do and the children love to see the heroes of New York.” You explained passing the kitchen where Alastor was sitting at the table with an older purple-clad Fox Yokai. Leon only briefly glanced at the pair and noticed his past self sneer at the duo and Leon couldn’t help but wonder what the situation was there. “But Nana and I arrange a private meeting with them under the guise of business, so you can talk with them privately.” Leon paused mid-step causing Casey to slam into his back,
“They’re coming? Tonight?”
“Is that…should I not have?” You turned to stop, hand nervously fiddling with the bottom of your shirt.
“Ah, no Pumpkin none of that.” His heart skipped a beat seeing your nervous reaction, a part of him wondering if Leo’s past feelings were influencing his present feelings at all. He took your hands within his own, it was big enough after all, “I just…it is unexpectedly soon.”
“We can call it off,” You offered, “wait a little longer.”
Leon paused for a moment chewing his bottom lip thoughtfully, on one hand, it was probably good to rip the bandaid off and see them. But on the other…he was scared, scared to see his brothers again and for them to see him so weak. He knew they weren’t his brothers, they’d died long ago but even still seeing them had his stomach churning nervously, “No. They can come.” He gently squeezed your hands, “Will you stay?” He whispered softly so that Casey and his past self couldn’t hear. “Please?”
“Of course, I can.” You smiled tenderly at him, “If you want me there then I’ll be by your side through the entire thing.” The sense of comfort he felt just from hearing your words astounded him, he knew he fell for people hard and fast. Even before the invasion, he’s had his fair share of flings his twin knew about them in great depth. However, this was an entirely new level he finds himself unequivocally drawn to you and your tenderness, maybe because you were the first to show him these traits after decades of detachment and emotional unavailability. Yet, he couldn’t put it all on the latter because here you are looking at him so softly his heart threatening to beat out of his chest, he was going to taint you. He was going to swallow your light and get you killed just like he has his brothers and humanity before this, he pulled away shakily offering  up a shaky smile.
“Thanks, Pumpkin.”
He wouldn’t allow himself to ruin you, no matter how much he wanted to be with you. But watching your eyes light up and a smile spread across your lips caused his will to falter, watching your hair bounce as you tilted your head to the side rather cutely.
But a little flirting never hurt anyone…right?
He grunted as Leo slipped in between the both of you, forcing him to drop your hands, Leo’s arm wrapped around your shoulder.
Okay, if he couldn’t have you past him CERTAINLY couldn’t have you.
“Princesa you do too much around here already, it’s not your job to play therapist for an old man.”
“Old?” You snorted and both Leo’s visibly melted at the sound, “Leo do I need to remind you of my own age? I’m gonna be geriatric soon!”
“No way!” Both Leonardo’s argued,
“You don’t look a day over twenty!” Leo pushed and Leon nodded in agreement,
“You’re beautiful,” He watched your entire face light up in the cutest shade of pink, “truly.”
“Guys you’re gonna give me a heart attack.” You whined out burying your face in your hands and both boys could see the steam coming out of your ears, “I get it good lord-”
“Miss (Y/n)!” Alastor clung to your legs seemingly appearing out of nowhere, “Sloan and I wanna see if you can come to the reading circle with your friends!”
“Ugh. No way, nada.” Leo scoffed, “Sloan can go suckkkkkkkkk- er.” His eyes flicked down to the little kid clinging to your legs and your fiery glare that he found a little too attractive. “Ya know nothing would make the four of us happier than joining you all for circle time with the other kiddos.”
“Yes!” Alastor cheered grabbing onto Leo’s hands with his little paws, Leo sighed softly as he began dragging him towards his Yokai brother. Leon looked at you and your fond smile,
“So…is that my jealous ex or?” You snorted elbowing Leon in his plastron, he chuckled deeply at your antics,
“Nah. It’s Donnie’s current boyfriend actually-”
“Donatello’s GAY?” You burst into hysterical clutching your chest and doubling over, Leon looked around frantically heat flooding up into his cheeks, “We didn’t really discuss it in the apocalypse!”
“Leo’s just being protective. Sloan was rescued from one of Big Mama’s fighting rings. You’ve never been the most trusting, especially to newcomers. We were able to save his kid brother too,” You explained, “Donnie fell very hard and fast especially after seeing how sharp his teeth were and-”
“Okay! Too much information!” Leon made a disgusted face, “I haven’t even met him and I already know too much about this timelines Donatello and his…escapades…”
You could only laugh before speaking once more, “Come. I think you’ll like circle time,” You cooed softly brushing your fingers against the tops of his hand, “The kids are gonna love having another big strong man to cling to.” “Oh?” Leon purred sweetly, “you think I’m big and strong?”
“Oh shut up.” You waved him off feeling his arm slide securely around your waist, “Leo.” You spoke in a warning tone, but he noticed how you subtly shifted closer to him.
“Eu poderia apenas comere você, abóbora.” He cooed into her ear, wishing so desperately he had his other arm to wrap her up in his embrace. Leo felt you shiver in his grasp cheeks turning red, he wasn’t doing a very good job of not falling for her, but how can he not play with fate a little when she was looking at him like that? “Me elogiando tão docemente. Você não tem ideia do que estou dizendo, mas você está se desfazendo. Que fofo.”
“Hey! Are you guys coming or not?” Casey snorted from the doorway leading to the reading area, Leo caught the look in his eye and shot him a dirty one in return. You pulled away smoothing out your clothes before passing by Casey through the doorway, Leon followed soon after and stopped to look down at the boy. “Sensei?~” He teased a smile spreading across his lips,
“Don’t start.”
“But-”
“No.”
“I mean I’d tap that-”
“Casey Junior.” Leonardo sputtered in shock, “There are kids around! She could hear you!”
“You worry too much,” Casey said gently, “I know it’s hard for you but try to relax at least a little bit before the guys get here.” He ran a hand through his hair motioning for Leo to sit down beside him on a rainbow-shaped rug. The kids had cleared a space for them, the yokais looking at him with awe and delight. He wilted shyly as some began to crawl into his lap and snuggle up against his body, he frantically searched for you only to see you sitting in a rocking chair Alastor on your lap with a book in hand ready to read aloud to the group. He relaxed almost instantaneously after he found your eyes and continued to let the children climb on top of him. Looking around once more he saw Leonardo talking softly to…Donnie’s boyfriend…about something, eyes would drift over to his location every so often. Leon offered a hand wave in greeting, the fox paused a moment seemingly in surprise before raising his own hand in a hello smiling shyly. Ah, it seems the fennec fox wasn’t so big and scary after all which is unusual for Donatello’s type. Then again he also didn’t clock Donnie as gay, how very, as the kids say, unslay that he wasn’t able to recognize one of his own. Leonardo huffed a little pushing the fox's hand down and stuck his tongue out at his future self, Leon could only roll his eyes at his past self's dramatics.
He really felt sorry for his brothers having to constantly deal with him.
Shit. He was meeting his brother again for the first time tonight. Shit, he was so not ready for this.

Readers pov
I was on my way to the sewers to see the turtle brothers like I did every Friday because it was a nice break from school and home life. Plus it’s always nice to have a place to just goof around with or just watch a movie or something with. “Hey [Name]!” Leo yelled as he saw me walk into the lair “Leo!, Hey what’s up?”
Leo’s pov
I saw [name] walked into the lair “Hey [Name]!” “Leo!, Hey what’s up” I walked up to [Name] and gave them a hug. “How was has your day been Leo?” I dramatically sighed “[Name] you wouldn’t ever believe how boring it waaas! Without you here.” I said with a slight wink flirting with [Name] like I had been since I developed a crush on them about 6 months ago. I was just to scared to tell them yet, why would a human want to date a turtle when they could date a human? “Leoooo” [Name pulled me out of my thoughts “Sorry what’s up [Name]!” I said in confidence, “Do you wanna go hang out in your room?” [Name’s] request took me a bit off guard “S-sure! Why not [Name]!” When we got to my room we sat on my bed [Name] and I listened to music for a little while but after one song [Name] looked at me and asked blatantly “Do you wanna make out Leo?” I looked at them and was screaming on the inside but I quickly responded with “Sure!” [Name] smiled and kissed me, I kissed back and it quickly became heated and became a make out session. I moved my hands into [Name’s] hair and their hands cupped my face, after a few minutes we both needed to breath I looked into [Name’s] eyes “[Name] I have liked you for a long time and I would really like to be your boyfriend…If you’d let me that is.” [Name] look at me and smiled “Leo I would love to be your partner!” Then they kissed me again I smiled happily into the kiss and for the rest of the night we cuddled and watched Jupiter Jim movies. “I love you [Name]” [Name] smiled, kissed my cheek and said “I love you to Leo.”

Catching My Breath
Platonic Leo (rottmnt) & Reader drabble 🩵🐢
(or romantic, I guess, either would work)
Tumblr media
It was a peaceful afternoon.
You were off school for the summer before your senior year, and you were out generally enjoying the day. There was a cold front that had swept through the upper states, which made the usually sweltering temperatures perfect for walking around your main haunts.
You had exited from enjoyed your favourite coffee shop, indulging in some people watching, when passing by an alleyway you heard a voice whisper-shout at you.
"Hey! ___! Over here!" the voice was familiar.
You turned, and saw Leo waving.
Not expecting to see him in the slightest at this time of day, you tilted your head in confusion. Stopping and taking a quick glance around to make sure you weren't seen, you slipped into the alley.
As you got close to him, you raised an eyebrow. "Leo? What's up?"
Despite the random nature of the encounter, he looked absolutely thrilled and made a motion for you to hold out your hands. He looked like he wouldn't budge otherwise so you acquiesced while rolling your eyes.
He immediately whipped out a small stack of comics onto your open hands.
Eyes widening, you immediately took note of what it was. There in your hands were the latest few issues of the comic he, you, and Mikey had become obsessed with in recent months.
Your mouth gaped, and your eyes flicked up to his in amazement. "How, wait, what?" you stumbled over your words as you blinked a few times.
Leo just laughed, taking a step back and resting his hands in his pockets with a wide grin, "How? I'm awesome. Wait? Never. And what? Just me being the coolest, most best turtle around." he said, settling with a smirk, "Also Mikey and I already read them. You can keep them until you're done. I was actually coming to look for you, so glad I caught you when I did."
You just kept staring, eyes darting between him and the comics you gingerly held. Then, you relaxed a little and nodded. "Thanks, Leo. Although you could've just texted me to come over, you realize this right?"
He shifted his weight to leaning on one leg, and his smug expression that you knew and tolerated took over. "Yeah, but then I wouldn't get to see you react as strongly. It's more entertaining to me this way."
The way he says this had you rolling your eyes yet again, but your lips quirked up despite it.
"Okay, okay. It was a cool surprise," you admit begrudgingly, but end up huffing out a breath of a laugh. He didn't need the ego stroke, but it was genuinely thoughtful. Not a rarity of his, but he tended to hide it when he was being thoughtful... so this was a nice deviation from the norm.
"Well, mention it to everyone. I'm the best, I know." Leo says, before turning in his heel and started to walk off with a lazy wave. "Enjoy your day, enjoy the comics, enjoy the weather. I'm off to bother Hueso, he said he had something for me."
You wave back even though he couldn't see, and just stood and watched him before he disappeared in a swirl of blue light.
Once the light faded you looked down at the comics clutched in your hand. You can't help but shake your head in amusement, as after the random encounter it was looking to be an even better day now. You make a mental note to text him and Mikey once you're done.
You head back to the coffee shop, wanting a snack now and a comfortable environment to read.
---------
A/N: I just really wanted to write a random slice of life scene, no real other motivation lol
Short and sweet

You stifle a yawn, rubbing your eyes as you sit back up from where you had fallen asleep in the kitchen. You stretch, feeling your spine pop. Your lips part for a solid yawn to escape, sleepily blinking a couple times.
You glance at the clock on the top of the archway that connects your kitchen to the storefront, realizing that your cookies are about to be burnt. You grab the oven mitts, avoiding the cloud of hot steam that escapes once you swing open the door to your oven.
You take out the tray, hissing when your finger barely touches the burning hot metal. You place it on the wooden counter, allowing the freshly baked cookies to cool. You hurry over to where you had set down another tray from the same batch of chocolate chip cookies you had made, still unbaked. You slide it into the oven, shutting the door with a relieved sigh.
You look down at your crumpled dress, trying to brush out the creases but failing miserably. You shrug, deciding to take a quick shower. You change into a fresh set of clothes, slipping a recently-ironed cerulean dress onto your shoulders. You brush your tangled hair, brushing your teeth after.
By the time you were done, the new batch had finished baking. You repeat your actions from earlier, but this time putting all the cookies straight into a basket lined with a red checked cloth. You lock the door behind you, heading out into the market.
Today was the day before the week-long festival celebrating the return of the long-lost princess. In the years she had been missing, the king and queen of the kingdom had hosted a small celebration of lights, calling it the Sun Festival in honour of their missing child in hopes that she would one day return. However, that had been last week, and now, they had extended it to celebrate her return.
You participated every year ever since moving to the kingdom five years ago. And every year, you repeated the same routine of giving away free samples of your pastries, and you gained recognition for having some of the best baked goods in town.
However, the reputation came with its downfalls. Every year without fail, a thief would steal at least five of each baked good you set out on display. You knew it was the same thief because they'd leave a tell-tale sign - an almost cocky way of letting you know they would never be caught. It came in the form of an italic capitalized '𝓛,' which was their initial, or so you suspected.
You knew almost everyone in the village, and every person whose name started with L had reassured you that they had never stolen a single item before. You believed them, especially since they were all decent people with alright reputations.
As such, the search continued for five years, and the thief managed to escape the countless traps you set each time. It was absolutely infuriating.
You hand a cookie to Margaret, a girl only one year younger than you who helped to run her family's clothing store. They were your go-to for new clothes, and without fail, they'd always produce the most gorgeous dresses with subtle details that made them stand out.
"Thanks, Y/n!" Margaret greets you with a smile, taking the cookie you hand to her. You chuckle at the messy bun she sports, helping to brush a few strands of her hair away from her eyes. She brings the cookie close to her face, inhaling deeply with a blissful sigh.
"No worries, here's some for your parents, too, as thanks for the dress you made me." You hand her another two, and she takes them gratefully.
"Aw, yes! They love your cookies! I had to convince them not to buy thirty like they did last year." Margaret groans at the memory of the entire bucketload of cookies her parents had brought back home. You giggle, remembering how excited her parents' faces were when buying a few loaves, croissants, and cookies.
"The dress looks great on you, though!" She looks you up and down, her eyes calculative as she views how the cerulean compliments your hair.
"It's a little loose on the waist, but I think that's just the stress for this year's festival."
"Oh, that can be fixed in a second! Hang on." She pulls out a few safety pins from her skirt pocket, approaching you and taking some of the material, fiddling with it. She takes a step back after a few moments, a satisfied smile on her face as you beam, the dress resting perfectly and allowing your corset to settle nicely on your skin.
"So, how's preparation to catch the thief going?" Margaret asks, putting the rest of the safety pins back in her pocket. You smirk.
"Safe to say, that thief won't get away so easily this year." You hum, placing your hand on your hip with a smug smile. Hours of brainstorming for ways to catch them had proved fruitful, and you now had various plans in mind.
"That's good. Update me when you can! I gotta go off and finish another order."
You wave goodbye to Margaret, who hurries off, watching her weave through the crowd and back into her shop. You continue to walk, handing out cookies to anyone in sight.
The crowd of tourists almost made it impossible to squeeze through the public, and you had to hold your breath every now and then for some wiggle room. Your basket is practically empty, save for one last cookie. You were almost home, so that cookie would be saved as your late-night snack.
"Ugh!"
You stumble, almost falling to the ground if not for a gloved hand holding your arm. You steady yourself, breathing a sigh of relief and glancing at the cookie in your basket. Thankfully, it was still in one piece. You look back up with a glare, the cloaked stranger in front of you taking a step back.
A hood covers their face, casting it in shadow. You wait for an apology, but none comes. So you stand and wait silently. They're adorned in a simple brown cloak and about a head taller than you.
"Well? Aren't you going to apologize to me?"
Your brows furrow, taken aback by the stranger's question. His voice is deep, yet there is an underlying playfulness within it.
"Excuse me, you bumped into me." You point out incredulously, raising a brow.
The stranger chuckles, shaking his head. "You were the one not looking where you were going. Oh well, I'll accept this as an apology."
Before you can even blink, a gloved hand snatches the cookie from your basket, holding it up to his eyes. (Or where you believe their eyes were. It was hard to tell.)
"Hey!" You protest, "That's mine!"
"What about all the other cookies you were handing out? Aren't they yours too?"
You fall silent, fingers curling into fists as you rein in your temper. You can hear the conceit in his voice as he tucks the cookie into his pocket. So much for your supper that night.
"Fine." You snap, feeling irritated by the man's presence.
"So, you're a baker?" You can almost hear the smirk on his lips.
"Yeah, I am. So you'd better enjoy that cookie because there sure won't be any left tomorrow." You nod towards his pocket where your precious cookie rests, and he chuckles. You cross your arms, ready to end the conversation with the rude man in front of you.
"Is that so? Well, I'll be sure to stop by then." His words have an almost impish edge, and your frown only spurs him to take a single bite of the freshly baked good he had snatched from you earlier.
He hums, and your curiosity overrides your disdain for the man. You wait for his reaction, expecting nothing less than a sigh of bliss.
"Kinda salty."
"Salty?" You repeat, flabbergasted by his response. He shrugs nonchalantly, watching your shoulders slump. You run your fingers through your hair, a few strands falling across your eyes as you laugh in disbelief.
No. You shouldn't believe in the words of a stranger who bumps into you without so much of an apology, much less blaming it on you.
You had better things to do, like catch a thief.
Besides, the thousands of people that flock to your store every year are more than enough to validate how good your baking is.
"Well," You address the stranger, and he shifts his weight to rest on one leg, "Thank you for your feedback, but I will not be changing the recipe to suit the taste buds of one man when many others enjoy my baking." You plaster a fake smile onto your lips, your words are emotionless, and your eyes regard him coldly.
"Goodbye." You walk past him, brushing against his cloak and approaching your door. You can sense his gaze on you, and you almost fumble with the keys. You unlock the door, cooly making your exit and shutting it behind you before heaving a frustrated groan in the comforts of your own home.
You leave your basket on the counter, eyeing the empty shelves of the store. You quickly eat, preparing for the all-nighter ahead of you if you want to get those pastries out by the morning. You push all thoughts of the earlier encounter out of your mind, washing your hands and turning out batches of dough that had been resting.
You work into the rest of the night, restocking empty shelves until the rooster that usually wanders into the empty streets of the early morning crows loudly. You look up from the piles of washed and dried metal trays, wiping off the sweat on your brow.
You glance around the store, a satisfied smile on your lips as you survey the shelves filled with loaves of bread of different varieties and, of course, your famous chocolate chips on a table in the centre of the store.
You head upstairs to your bedroom, quickly washing up in the bathroom before collapsing onto your bed in a tired heap. You nap for an hour, your clock soon ringing to wake you up. You drag yourself out of bed, putting on a new peach-coloured dress after a cold shower that wakes you up.
Sliding on a pair of comfortable flats, you head back downstairs where a crowd of regulars that visit your store every festival await you. You wave hello through the glass windows, setting up the drawer where you store your coins for change after the customers make their payment.
You take off the cloth covering all the shelves of baked goods, everyone outside becoming visibly excited. You fold them and put them away into a separate drawer, taking a deep breath before unlocking the door.
Customers pour in, making a beeline for the products they want. The bell hooked up to the top of the door jingles every time it's open, and it was a constant sound with the stream of people flooding in.
You take your place behind the counter, calculating the right amount of change and bagging the baked goods in paper bags.
"Hey, Mr. Smith, how's the missus?" You greet the tailor, who holds three loaves of rosemary and olive bread and two medium-sized bags of cookies. He hands you three crowns, and you open the drawer to give him the change.
"She's back home with Margaret, but she says hello, and to pass you this." He takes out a small handkerchief with your initials embroidered, and you gasp in delight. Cerulean lace surrounds the edges, the soft material like a cloud against your hand.
"Thank you!" You gush, folding it gently and placing it in your pocket. "I love it." You hand him back the change, bagging up the loaves in the paper bags. You wave him off with a toothy smile, paying attention to the next customer in the queue.
You take a break in the afternoon to have lunch, shutting the door much to the chagrins of others. You wave the tourists off, directing them to other stalls while you have lunch and prepare the first trap of many.
During the past few years, you had noticed that the thief always came around nightfall when everyone was distracted by the sunset.
Not this time.
This time you had a plan and were confident it'd succeed.
You restock the shelves, making sure to leave the last bag of cookies sitting on the table. You grab some pepper, sprinkling some inside the bag. You grab a small jar on the counter, coating the bag's underside and making sure it isn't apparent to the thief.
It was a jar of finely ground rose petals, the pigmented powder a gift from Margaret as a lip stain for your lips. However, you were using it to set the trap instead. Hopefully, she'd understand.
You hum a cheerful tune under your breath, heading into the back and waiting for the familiar chime of the bell. You grab a tray of croissants, heading back into the storefront. You fill the empty shelf, ensuring the wax paper is lined properly so the pastries wouldn't touch the bare wood.
You turn, glancing over your shoulder at the cookie trap you set.
Or at least where the cookies were a minute ago.
The tray clatters to the floor as you stand still, stunned by how the thief had managed to slip in and out without so much as a sound. This was the first time this had happened. You had even locked all the windows as a precaution, so how had he managed to get in??
The door was firmly shut, and the bell hadn't made a single chime or jingle.
The edge of the table has a faint dusting of red, and an italic '𝓛' is once again written in it. You grit your teeth, seething at the fact that the thief had not only managed to elude your sight yet again, but the cocky inscription of their initials was the tipping point.
"UGH!" You throw your hands up in frustration, your blood boiling as you storm back into the kitchen. You see yourself in the mirror, cheeks red and nostrils flared. Your eyes are filled with frustration.
You were so sure that it'd work!
You quickly march out the door to your store, eyes darting around as you try to spot the thief in the crowd. They had to be around somewhere.
You spot a flash of red, and you run, gently pushing past people and muttering, "excuse me!" in a rushed tone. You couldn't let them out of your side. They pause at a booth, and you finally catch up. "Got you now!"
Your words die in your throat when you finally look up from where your hands are on your hips, panting heavily to catch your breath. A tall, muscular man looks at you with wide eyes, confused by your sudden accusation.
You look down at his hands. You had seen red, hadn't you?
He holds a bouquet of roses, glancing down at it and back to you in a mildly unsettled manner. "Can I help you…?" He questions. He looks nervously at the owner of the booth you both are at, the owner shrugging helplessly.
"I must have mistaken you for someone else," You stammer out, cheeks flushed from embarrassment, "Have a free cookie at my store as an apology."
The man's face lights up, smiling broadly. "Gee, thanks!"
You hear a faint chuckle, instantly looking up at the crowd and scanning it intently. You were sure that had to have been the thief. It had to be.
You try to catch every face in the crowd, attempting to narrow down who it could have been. Unfortunately, it seemed that they had made yet another clean getaway. You practically deflate, almost tearing up out of frustration.
"You all good?" The man you accused earlier asks, and you respond with a simple nod, wiping your eyes roughly with the back of your hand.
"Yeah." You trudge back to your store with a forlorn look on your face. You clean the dust off the table along with the initial and restock the bags of cookies before opening for the evening crowd.
You focus on handling the customers, finally closing when the clock strikes midnight. You slide the lock shut on the front door, the now empty shelves a stark contrast to the early morning. You count the profit you made from the first day, sorting it into a small coin pouch and leaving the rest to use as change for the next day.
You wash up and head to bed, your body on autopilot. Your mind races with thoughts as you lay in your bed and stare blankly at the ceiling.
Today, the trap had failed.
That was what Plan B was for. It was only the first day, and there were still 6 more.
A spark of indignation is all it takes to get you fired up for the next day, and you drift off to sleep with a newly steeled resolve to catch that thief, even if it takes you countless plans from A through Z.
The following day, you wake up bright and early, changing into a rosemary-coloured dress, planning to upsell your herbed loaves of bread. You descend the stairs in your flats, brushing your hair back into a low ponytail.
You restock the shelves again, welcoming yet another crowd into the store. The day passes, and you're so caught up in promoting and selling your products that you almost forget to take a break for dinner.
Your hair is slightly dishevelled, locks framing your face as you wipe away the sweat with a damp cloth in the kitchen. You sit down, grab some baked potatoes and load them up with cream, sliced spring onions, and pickles. You set the plate down on the table, preparing the next trap.
You set down five loaves of bread where the cookies used to be(they had all sold out in the morning), securing a small bell to the last one and leaving a small hidden loop on the floor. It was a standard rabbit trap.
When the thief inevitably steals the loaves of bread, they'd pull on the last loaf, which would trigger the bell and the rope attached to it, causing their foot which would land in the small loop, to be trapped in the tightened rope, leaving them dangling and helpless.
Was it too much for Plan B?
Yes.
Would it stop you from using it?
Absolutely not.
So you stay in the back, choosing to sit so that you are close enough to the storefront and can rush out immediately. You eat your baked potato slowly, catching your breath from the hectic morning and taking the time to recharge for the evening crowd.
Minutes pass, and you begin to think the thief will never come.
The bell jingles.
You can hear muffled grunting, grabbing a solid frying pan on your stove, and slowly approaching the front. You peek out from behind the arch wall dividing the store's front and back, seeing a cloaked figure dangling by their green foot from the ceiling.
Wait.
Green?
Your brows furrow in confusion, walking towards them.
You recognize the cloak. It was the stranger you had bumped into the other day. The one who had said your cookie was too salty.
"Juuust great." His sarcastic comment makes you frown. He hadn't noticed you yet. You suck in a sharp and audible inhale through your teeth, and his body visibly stiffens, turning around.
His hood still shrouds his face in shadow, though you were pretty sure the rest of him was green too. His hands are holding down his cloak from exposing more than just his legs, and he gasps.
"Uh, rude?? You can't just stare at people like that, pervert."
Your face heats up at the lazy accusation he throws your way, eyes narrowing into a glare. You hold the frying pan defensively and turn it, so the handle is facing him instead. You poke his chest a few times.
"Ow." His deadpan voice makes you flinch, and you raise your brows.
"Look, this is all just a misunderstanding. I came here to check out the cookies again, and your stupid trap thing," He gestures to the rope around his ankle, keeping him dangling from the ceiling, "is making me late to meet my brothers." When gesturing, he lets go of the cloak, and it falls towards the ground. He yelps, clumsily grabbing it and holding it back to hide his body.
You catch a glimpse of two swords he has tucked away on his waist, along with more green skin. Your eyes study him until something catches your eye. You grab his hand, leaning in and looking at the bright red coating his fingertips.
"Ha!" You gasp as elation begins to rush through your body.
You did it! You caught the thief!
The thief sighs, his hands going limp. "Okay, fine. You got me." He caves easily, and you rejoice with a victorious giggle.
"I did it! I caught you! Ohhhhh, you've been such a pain in the side for five years. Five years! I've waited for this day. Now, pay up for all the stuff you took." You demand, lips pursed as you point the frying pan at him threateningly. You lean back smugly, your head tilted. There was nowhere for him to run, much less escape.
"So, about that…." You frown at his response, firmly pressing the frying pan's tip against his chest. "Wait! I don't have money. Can't you just put it on my tab, and we can settle this later. You can contact me through my lawyer!" He cries out.
You were getting tired of talking to a shadowed face. You wanted to see the face of the man who had been an irritating source of loss for you over the years. You use the handle to flip back the hood.
Your eyes widen, looking down at the thief in front of you.
Was he even human?
His entire body was lime green, a blue bandanna around his face with holes carefully cut out for his eyes. The tails of his bandanna fall out of the hood, dangling upside down above his head. Red crescent-like stripes over his eyes add a pop of colour, and you're stunned by the creature in front of you.
Your grip loosens, the frying pan sliding out of your hand to meet the floor with a loud clang. You take a step back, almost stumbling back.
"So... this is awkward." You flinch when he speaks, blinking rapidly as you process the sight. You don't know where to look, eyes darting from his face to his legs. He watches you with an almost amused smile, and you don't know whether to take that as offensive.
You’re a hundred percent sure you voice is shaky, scrambling to pick up your frying pan - your only weapon. Your legs give out, and you fall to the ground, pointing it at him with trembling hands. Your lips part.
"What are you?"

Tumblr media Tumblr media
You were an English teacher who recently started working at a new school. Youre quite nervous, but exciting at the thought of what awaits you with this sudden change.
Donnie
- Donnie was one of those strict science teachers that nobody dared to underestimate.
- At first, he didnt seem too interested when he heard of a new teacher who started working there.
- hes never even been a romantic type, he honestly didnt care and let fate decide if he gets a partner or not.
- When he saw you for the first time though, he thought he might be hallucinating.
- "Oh sweet Galileo help me.."
- you probably immediately checked his "cute but mean" type without even saying a single word
- He became more interested in you, talking to you more often, even at times asking u to meet up during the break.
- "Hey, uhm.. Could i maybe interest u in some coffee during the break?"
- he thought all of this "romantic feeling" thing wasnt real, but he seriously cant help but fall for you.
Leo
- Leo is obviously the laid-back cool Spanish teacher.
- Almost every student liked him, he was chill and even jokes around
- (he once drew donnie on the board with a huge forehead and wrote "megamind" next to it)(no, donnie did not take that well)
- He was quite interested when he heard of a new teacher, hell he was probably the first one to interact with you out of his brothers
- The second he saw you, this mf fell straight face down in love with you
- "oh mi gosh thats the new teacher?! Shes gorgeous! Do you see her Donnie?! You see her?! Oh i so need to get her number!!"
- tries to act sly and flirt with you
- and fails miserably
- "Hey there hermosa, how do you feel about a date? Ya know, just you and me? *Wink wink* *leans on wall, trips and falls miserably*"
- (A/N: i cried writing that)
Mikey
- Mikey is the sweet art teacher and students enjoy being around him, but yet again they probably wont dare to underestimate his "Dr. Delicate touch" side
- He was quite excited when he heard about a new teacher.
- When he saw you, he suddenly felt nervous and flustered. And he knew why.
- at this point, everyone but you knew abt how he admires you, a little more than in the friendly way.
- He couldnt get the courage to go and talk to you, which put Dr. Feelings to shame
- When you actually started talking tho, you got quite close.
- Youd be with him almost every break
- You would often stay in his classroom/art studio and watch him paint during the lunch break
- and during those times he even asks u to pick his colours
- "Hey Y/n, which colour do you think would suit the ladies dress more? Red or blue?"
- Sometimes you even jokingly ask to be his model, but in all honesty he doesn't mind at all
- you guys were an inseparable duo, and he caught himself falling more and more for you
Raph
- He's the PE teacher, hes fun but strict when he needs to be.
- He doesnt mind that theres a new teacher, hes quite excited abt it actually - he would gladly want to meet you.
- First thing that catches his eye is that he thinks youre really pretty.
- He's most likely stuttering during ur first convo now😭
- Hes super sweet, bringing you coffee and/or lunch, helping u out with random teacher stuff, checking up of u, ect
- "Hey! How you feeling? I brought you some coffee.. if youd like."
- Hes so shy, but he cant help but feel his heart flutter every time you thank him or show appreciation towards him
Tumblr media
A/N: Raph was so hard and i know it's not accurate at all. Ive literally been beating my ass up bc of him cuz i didnt have any ideas😭😭 this took super long and I'm really sorry about that, i hope it turned out the way u wanted🙏 anyways its 1AM so im js posting this cuz i have nothing else to do😔

Sometimes, you wondered just what was going on in the guys’ brains that convinced them that any of what they did was a good idea.
The Hidden City was amazing. You’d known that the moment you stepped foot in it. Filled with yokai, and with this magic that you only ever dreamed of as a child. You’d thought you were in for a nice, peaceful day for once, exploring.
At some point, you and April had split off from the group. You could’ve sworn you didn’t even leave their sight, but when you turned around, the turtles were gone.
You decided to meet up with them again later, and went on about your sightseeing. It had been maybe fifteen minutes - only fifteen minutes - when you heard April’s phone ring.
“Hey, Mikey.” You knelt down to examine the plaque of a statue while she picked up the call, noting it was meant to be of some historic figure.
“What did you guys do this time.”
That certainly wasn’t an encouraging statement. “What did they do?” You quickly looked back at her.
April took the phone from her ear and put it on speaker. None other than Michelangelo was on the other end. “So, uh, funny story…” He spoke in a panicked whisper. Definitely not a good sign.
“So Donnie-“
“Oh, so it’s MY fault now, is it!”
“Would you two be quiet?” On the other end, Raph took the phone. “We were just minding our business, and I’m-Not-Naming-Names-Donnie ran into this yokai.”
“Oh?” You could hear faint bickering in the background, accompanied by Raph trying to hush his brothers. Well, two of them, at least. “Where’s Leo?”
“Mob.”
“Excuse me?”
“There is a mob.”
Now that the word ‘mob’ was mentioned, you couldn’t help but notice the sounds of rage coming from somewhere in the distance.
“WHAT ON EARTH DID YOU SAY TO THEM?” As April yelled into the phone, you began making your way towards the racket.
About five streets down, you found the previously mentioned mob. And it truly was a mob, with pitchforks and everything. Above the crowd, on the rooftops of what you took to be a restaurant of some kind, you could see three of the four brothers hiding somewhat poorly behind a stack of boxes. Your boyfriend, notably, was missing.
“Look, I didn’t mean to take that little girl’s teddy bear, okay? I didn’t know!” There he was, at the front of the crowd, quickly being backed into a corner.
“God damn it, Leo…” Pushing through the horde wasn’t easy, especially a horde of yokai, who occasionally had spikes and other such appendages, but you made it through.
“HEY, HEY, PEOPLE, CALM DOWN!” Your yells quickly brought attention to you, which may or may not have been a mistake.
“Oh hey, y’don’t see humans every day ‘round here…”
“Who’s that lady?”
You laughed nervously. “Now look, I don’t know what happened here, but I can assure you all, whatever my boyfriend and his brothers may have said, or done, they apologize deeply and hope you can forgive them, and/or whatever they smashed can hopefully be fixed with super glue.”
Silence had fallen over the mob. Was that a good sign? The pitchforks were still up.
“… So now that that’s been said and done we’re going to take our leave now goodbye!”
You turned away from the crowd and hastily scooped Leo up bridal style. “OH-“ You barely had time to register his red face before you were running from a mob of angry yokai.
You’re not really sure how you got out of there without being burned at the stake. You had absolutely no plan, and the majority of your success was definitely due to pure luck. At some point, you managed to duck into an alleyway without being noticed, breathing heavily. Running who knows how far at who knows how fast wasn’t an easy feat.
Speaking of, Leo was still in your arms.
“I’m gonna put you down now.”
“Okay.”
You set him down gently before leaning back against the wall behind you, trying to catch your breath. “Think they’re gone? … Leo?”
You hadn’t previously been aware that turtles could blush just as red as humans, but here Leo was.
You couldn’t help but smile at him. “Aw, did I catch you off guard?”
“Off guard? Me, the great Leonardo, off guard? Never!”
“Your face says different.”
“Pff-“ Leo crossed his arms. “You didn’t HAVE to pick me up. What, (y/n), trying to impress me?”
“Maybe.” You were on a roll today. It wasn’t every day Leo got flustered like this. “Guess you’re just that lucky to have a big, strong girlfriend like me.”
Leo did that awkward laugh - you know the one - as he covered his face with a hand. “Oh, I’m going to get you back for this.”
“Yeah, sure, pretty boy.” You grabbed his hand, and led the way out of the alley. “Come on, let’s find the others before those yokai come back. What did you do, anyways…?”

Hi! I hope it's okay to leave a little request. It's ok if you'll ignore it.
So, I've been thinking about a thing called lovelock. From Wikipedia its a "long lock of hair, often plaited (braided) and made to rest over the left shoulder (the heart side) to show devotion to a loved one." I wanted to ask for a female reader or gn reader to do this, and how would turtles react when they learn about what this is and what it means. Reader could also add some accessories to match a turtle's colour, like a blue feather for Leo.
Thank you in advance!

Donnie
Thinks it's so dumb
At least that's what he says out loud
In reality he's flattered
The fact that you got something in his color
Something to symbolize him
He can't get over it
Leo
Beyond flattered
And constantly lets your know.
He plays with it when you lay with him
Or any time its within reach
He loves it so much
Mikey

When Shiro had shown up during this time, Casey had made the mistake of saying nothing, keeping everyone in the dark, and taking off. He didn't want to handle it that way again, and so he said quietly: "Usagi...listen to me. Shiro was also part of this family in my time. But there was a huge conflict and she disappeared. Donnie was completely destroyed." he took a deep breath because he was now telling something no one else knew, "Just like Leo. The two of them are the closest to Shiro - no one knows why. Donnie broke inside, but Leo was saved." A shiver ran down Usagi's spine and he stopped. "By who?" Casey turned, looked him in the eyes, and a smile reappeared on his face. "By you."

Can you do one more rottmnt x female reader with Mikey but reader is gaving multiple box turtles, her plan was to make Mikey jealous, little did she knew her turtle pets are loving Mikey wich made reader jealous XD
rise mikey x gn reader
Mikey never got jealous. It was becoming a problem. But luckily, you had an idea and money. Lots of money.
“Mikey,” you set your hands on his shoulders.
“Yes?” he smiled at you happily.
“You need to see something. It’s very important.”
You led him to your well prepared trap, giddily glancing back at him from time to time. He just seemed happy that you were happy.
You led him to your room and bed, where a bunch of box turtles waited for your return.
“Whoa. Where’d you get so many?” he asked, in awe at the amount of turtles on your bed.
You flopped onto the bed and all the turtles swarmed to you. “They all showed up,” you lied, “must’ve been fate. They all love me.”
You watched his expression carefully but he only smiled happily. Your eyebrow twitched.
“Yeah, they only really like me, never really got attached to anyone but me—” Your jaw drops as Mikey picks one up. Instead of biting Mikey or hiding in its shell like they usually do when scared or with a stranger, it nuzzled into his arms. “…”
The others began to follow, realizing the giant turtle version of them wouldn’t hurt them.
“Seems like they like me!” Mikey laughed happily, picking another up. He cooed softly. “So cute…”
This wasn’t apart of your plan. You glared at the turtles in Mikey’s arms. That was supposed to be your face in his his hands as he kissed you because of how jealous he was!
You snagged one turtle that had stayed and held it tightly in your arms. It hid in its shell, spooked. You sighed. Plan: Failed.

HAIII mootie :3!! I just got back from an ✨ ExHaUsTiNG ✨ day (literally, I was on the verge of sleeping but still ofc reading you’re hc one shots) and I had this idea for one shot!! My mind will NOT sleep if i don’t type this request (pls send help/j)
Okie!! It’s Rottmnt x female sibling reader (ALL PLATONIC) , so this is the scenario!! The Reader is the Kemp's ridley sea turtles and they are the youngest, they maybe small! But they are strong, thanks to the training her brothers would give her! Alright, so she’s the only one who goes to schools thanks to the cloak (sunita gave to her since it was a spare one) she got a into a fight with another girl because the girl would call her a ‘freak’ because she would talk about her brothers being hero’s, and mutants!! But the girl started it tbh, so they’re fighting and reader is not beating the crap out of them she’s hitting her slightly but the girl took it TOO far and picked up a pair of scissors and CUT READERS HAIR!! (Like they cut it to make it short like a boys haircut yk?) And reader would just start balling and FINALLY a teacher would come in and bring them to the nurse first then the principals office and the principal called the brothers (+Casey JR, and April if you can!) , if you’re wondering why they first got in a fight anyways is because like the girl got mad at reader for talking too much to her friends and pulled her hair and… you know the rest happened.
AND THEY STORMED IN (with their cloaks on ofc) they’re fuming because reader loves her hair it would make her so happy!! The brothers would play with it, help brush it etc. But I would like HC’s of them reacting to that please?
Take as much time as you need, dear!!/p (platonically)
Hope you don’t mind I took this kind of in my own direction 🫶🏻
ROTTMNT x Sister! Reader
fluff! :D, comfort?, Sister! Fem! Reader, mild swearing
Rise! Donnie, Mikey, Leo, Raph x Fem! Sister! Reader
Tumblr media
Donatello and Michelangelo were sitting in front of the TV in your living room playing a video game when the heard the front door creak open and the familiar clack of your favorite shoes.
“Y/N?” Mikey called out, only taking his eyes away from the game to check the time quickly, “You’re home early.”
They heard your sobbing as you sniffled and whipped their heads to look at you.
You were pretty scuffed up, with a few fresh, developing bruises scattered on mostly your legs but a few on your arms. And your hair! Your beautiful, prized hair was all chopped up.
“Oh mi gosh! Y/N, what happened to you?” Mikey jumped up and practically teleported to you, placing his hands on your arms and looking you over.
“This- this girl in- in my-“ You hiccuped, desperately wiping away your tears.
Mikey pulled you against his plastron, shushing you, “It’s ok, I’m right here. Just focus on calming down.”
Mikey looked at Donnie from over your shoulder, sharing a ‘what the fuck?’ look. He carefully led you over the couch, sitting down next to you and rubbing your back.
After a few moments of taking deep breaths and your breathing turning back to normal, Donnie spoke up. “Now, Y/N. What happened?”
“I- I was talking to my friend in the lunch line, and- and I was telling her about how my brothers are..are heroes. And this girl in my grade, Abigail, she- she called me a freak. So, I stood up for myself like you guys taught me..and she hit me, so I hit her back. Then she- Then she cut my hair.” You spoke quickly with a shaky voice, raking your fingers through your messy, choppy hair.
“WHAT?!” Donnie and Mikey shouted in unison.
“Y/N, what? Where was a teacher during all of this?” Donnie was furious, but not at you. Mikey kept rubbing your back in soothing circles.
“I don’t- The principal just told me to give you this and for you to sign it..” You slipped your backpack from your shoulders, unzipping it and pulling out a paper.
“Su..suspended?!” Donnie and Mikey both leaned over your shoulder to read the contents on the page. “For fighting? That wasn’t fighting, that was self defense!” Mikey scoffed, crossing his arms.
Donnie took a deep breath, glancing back up at you. “Y/N…do you think this ‘Abigail’ girl deserved it?”
“Mhm. I wasn’t even doing anything to her. She started it, I swear!”
“Then you shouldn’t have been suspended!” Mikey said.
You looked back over to him with a nod, “I know! Don’t tell me that-“
Donnie interjected, “No, No. We are going to talk to the school. This is injustice!”
“Yeah! This is unethical! Incredulous!” Mikey agreed.
"Unfair! Unreasonable! Outrageous! We shall NOT stand for such atrocity!" Donnie yelled while standing up.
“Yep. I agree.” Mikey nodded, keeping his arms crossed.
"I say, we march up to the principal right now and make them undo this blasphemy! WHO'S WITH ME?!" Donnie yelled while pointing out to the rest of the house.
Mikey hesitated, “…it’s just you and me, D.”
"I SAID, WHO'S WITH ME?" Donnie repeated.
“OH, I mean- YYEEAAAHHH!!” Mikey cheered with him, throwing one hand in the air with the other on your back.
"HELL YEAH!" Donnie took his phone out and started dialing the principal's number.
Mikey turned his attention to you, leaving Donnie to take care of business. “Y/N, you didn’t deserve this, ok?” He tried to reassure you with a smile while running a hand through your short, chopped-up hair.
“I just don’t understand why…I wasn’t doing anything wrong, was I?” You looked up at him.
Mikey shook his head no, “Of course not. You were just being yourself. Some people are just hateful for no reason, ok? Try not to let her get you. It’s obvious she doesn’t know what she’s talking about.” Donnie was yelling in the background, but you were too focused on Mikey to make out what was being said…most likely something that shouldn’t be repeated anyways.
“But…but my hair.” You started to tear up again but Mikey was quick to wipe them away before they could fall.
“It’ll grow back! You still look beautiful. We just need to…touch it up is all.” Mikey was trying his best to cheer you up.
After he finished calling, Donnie put his phone on the coffee table and sat back down on the couch next to you. "There. We march at dawn."
“Yeah! You show ‘em!” Mikey cheered, clapping.
"Indeed I will. They'll rue the day they suspended my little sister! RUE IT!” Donnie huffed.
“What is with all the yelling- woah.” Leo stopped dead in his tracks in the doorway as he took in your present condition.
Mikey shot him a look that said ‘don’t say a goddamn thing.’
“W-wow..Y/N, I really like the, um- the new look…” Leo laughed nervously, walking over cautiously.
Donnie narrowed his eyes at Leo, “Some little heathen cut Y/N’s hair at school today.”
“What?! That’s terrible!” Leo shoved Donnie to the side to take his spot next to you. He observed the straggly mess of hair left on your head.
Donnie opened his mouth to yell at Leo, but decided for your sake to just let it go this one time.
“Yeah! And Y/N got suspended for defending herself.” Mikey added, huffing.
“Y/N GOT SUSPENDED?” Raph yelled from the doorway of the living room, making you, Mikey, and Leo jump in surprise.
Raph stood there, shocked, as he waited for an answer.
You were about to speak before Mikey beat you to it, “It wasn’t her fault, Raph! She was attacked! All she did was stand up for herself.”
“Attacked?” Raph raised an eyebrow. Well, at least the area where an eyebrow would be. He got closer and saw your tear-stained cheeks, your cut-up, ruined hair, and your disheveled appearance and his expression immediately softened into a frown.
“Awww, come here! Let Raphie hold you!” Your oldest brother spoke to you in a babying voice, lifting you by your armpits and pulling you close to him, “it’s ok. Raphie’s here.”
“Raph! You’re scaring her!” Mikey stood up.
“No, I am not.” He scoffed.
“Guys! Just relax, we’ll get this all figured out-“ Leo spoke calmly, trying to keep everybody calm.
Donnie cleared his throat, “If you had allowed me to explain further before you viciously shoved me, you would know I have already spoken with the school.”
Leo looked at him in surprise, “why didn’t you start with that?!”
Donnie gasped in offense, “I tried! But you pushed-“
“Enough!” Raph snapped, still holding you in his arms and petting your head.
“Stop fighting! Y/N needs us.” Mikey shoved Leo gently.
You couldn’t even get a word in through all this chaos and panic so you just grumbled into Raph’s shoulder.
“First things first, boys.” Raph spoke up, “let’s get you cleaned up, Y/N.”
There was silence for a moment before Leo brought up a good point, “…Do any of us know how to cut hair?”
Silence.
Donnie sighs, picking his phone back up from the table, “I’ll call April.”
