“Shhh, don’t want us getting caught like this do you?”
Robin’s voice is hushed but stern, now lifting her head from between your trembling thighs. The blonde has you spread out on a bench in the dugout, skirt shoved up around your hips as her tongue laps up everything you have to offer.
That is until a broken moan leaves your lips, unable to stop it as her fingers curl up inside you. The sound breaks through the silence, the only thing heard above the soft hum of cicadas.
“What would your little friends think, hmm?” she taunts, brow raised as she looks up at you, dirt still smeared across her cheeks from the game. “Knowing a loser is the one making you feel so good?”
In that moment you can’t find it within yourself to care anymore, gripping her hair in your fist to guide her back between your legs. “Let them.”
Robin hums, her lips drifting lower to nip at the tender skin of your thighs. The action causes another loud whimper to leave you. “You sure about that, honey?”
“I don’t care,” you admit out loud for the first time, thoughts completely overwhelmed with all things Robin.
“Fuck, I don’t care anymore,” you sigh.
Never in your wildest dreams would you think tonight would turn out like this.
You’d been watching her from the sidelines as she attempted to slide into homebase, coming up a little short. You’d never gotten to see her play before, your extracurriculars usually running at the same time. But today had been just your luck, with Chrissy spraining her ankle, immediately being rushed off to get it iced. Coach ended practice shortly after—no use continuing without the star of the squad there, right?
It gave you the perfect opportunity to watch her without raising any suspicion—two of your teammates by your side, laughing as Robin struck out. You took your lower lip between your teeth, trying not to gawk as she rose to her feet. Dusting the dirt off her thighs when she caught your eye, biting back a smirk as she made her way towards the dugout.
But not before stopping by where you were leaning against the bleachers. Right there, in front of everyone for the first time.
See, this has been going on for months. The sneaking around, the feigned rivalry.
If only they knew what was really happening behind closed doors.
Tumblr media
You first noticed her late one afternoon, walking to your car after cheer practice. Robin hadn’t even crossed your radar, barely a glance in the hallway. Too wrapped up in your own world to notice. But there was just something about the warm glow of the sunset laying against her flushed cheek. The way she found your eyes, like she knew your secret, before she spit out the shell of a sunflower seed. Chuckling as she grabbed her bat and walked off.
All you knew after that was you desperately wanted to know more. And boy, did you.
You quickly learned through word of mouth that she had been caught hooking up with some girl in the band room after school. That confirmation prompted you to start dropping her little hints. Longing glances when no one was paying attention, nods in the hallway. Sneaking out of practice early just so she’d notice you walk by. And, sure, she noticed.
But Robin wasn’t going to come easy, was she?
No, she wanted to make you work for it. To prove to her you were serious, not just another girl looking to make out with her for the thrill of it. Or some sick joke conjured up by the cheer squad to humiliate her more.
You quickly realized that your subtle hints were not going to get you what you wanted. Her.
One day you’d finally had enough, boldly slipping a note in her locker between classes. Coaxing her to meet you in the secluded alley between the gym and the cafeteria. A place you’d only used to meet a certain super senior when you wanted to buy some weed.
A spot unknown or used by the majority of the students of Hawkins High, knowing you wouldn’t be seen or heard by any curious passersby.
Part of you was worried she wouldn't show, becoming increasingly more nervous as time passed. Any lingering qualms were squashed when you saw her striding down the narrow path towards you. She looked good, her dark jeans hugging her hips just right. A button-up shirt tucked loosely into them, the top few buttons left open.
You wanted nothing more than to lean forward, closing the short distance between your bodies. Leave a trail of blues and purples along her exposed skin. And that terrified you, to know that one girl could mess you up in such a monumental way.
“So,” you mumbled, kicking a pebble with the tip of your sneaker.
“So,” she answered, crossing her arms over her chest.
Without hesitation, you introduced yourself but Robin gave you a confused look.
“Yeah, I already know who you are.”
“You do?”
“Well, we’ve gone to school together our whole lives…” she paused, running a hand through her hair, “and when a girl is practically eye-fucking you in the halls, it’s hard not to notice.”
“Oh, right,” you replied, looking down. Embarrassment washed over you. “Sorry, I guess I misinterpreted this whole thing.”
You carefully pushed off the wall, ready to walk away and pretend like this whole thing never happened. Save yourself the humiliation.
But her soft voice stopped you in your tracks.
“I wouldn't say that.”
“Then what would you say?” you asked, more confident now.
“You’re the one who asked me here,” Robin pointed out, turning the focus back to you.
And just as quickly as your confidence had risen, it fell. So you looked down again, now fiddling with the hem of your skirt.
“I don’t, um,” you struggled. “I don’t really know how to say it. I just…I…”
“Oh, just spit it out already.”
You looked up at her exasperated expression, narrowing your eyes. “Fine! Fine. Whatever. I like you, okay?”
“Like me? We’ve never spoken.”
“Don’t give me that when I’ve seen the way you look at me too.”
Robin’s hardened expression fell. “Touché.”
Silence fell between you, Robin lifting her head to look at the sky. You couldn’t help but squirm again, feeling a desperate urge to breathe in her scent.
You sighed. “So, what do we do now?”
“Hell if I know,” she replied, looking back at you. “I thought you were stuck up like the rest of your prissy friends.”
“Not when I’m around you,” you admitted, barely above a whisper. “You make me feel…different, somehow.”
“I could make it much worse for you, you know,” Robin replied, a smug grin reaching her lips as she stepped closer to you. “All you have to do is ask.”
“Please—”
“Actually, no,” Robin interrupted, fingers inching towards your hip. “You should beg.”
“Please,” you said without hesitation. “Please, Robin. I need you.”
Robin knew she shouldn’t. And so did you. But there was just something there, pressing against your chests as Robin pressed you against the brick. And when she kissed you the first time, you nearly whined in contentment, mewling softly against her mouth.
That kiss left you feeling desperate, eager for her to show you more. However, Robin wasn’t going to chase you, forcing you to take matters into your own hands. You sought her out one night after practice, pulling her into the equipment room outside the gym. Backing her body against the door, lips meeting once you heard the lock click into place.
“Just couldn’t stay away now, could you, baby?” she mumbled against your mouth, pulling a soft whine from you as she nipped at your lower lip. The noise caused her to laugh softly.
“I want you, Robs.”
She hummed in response, letting her lips trail across your jaw. “Want me how?” she prodded as the tip of her nose skimmed along your collarbone, rendering you utterly speechless.
“Show me,” she breathed, further stealing the breath from your lungs as she kissed you deeply. Taking control as she flipped your positions, enclosing you against the door.
You’re pliable under her soft touch, guiding her fingers up and underneath your pleated skirt. The blue of her irises nearly swallowed whole by her pupils as she gazed at you hungrily. That look ignited something within you, feeling emboldened as you reached forward to undo her pants. Exploring each other in a way that was unfamiliar to you, her skilled fingers helping to guide you with ease.
After that, it was just your little secret, with no one being the wiser. Why would they? You were on the opposite ends of the food chain, fractured by the Hawkins High hierarchy. Leaving little glances across the cafeteria, brushes of your fingertips in the hallway as a secret reminder of what you two had. It didn’t hurt that you could sit in class, practice, or even the shower and think about how they’d brush against your breasts later.
Of course, you couldn’t help but wind her up whenever you could be overheard. As she would gladly put you in your place in private.
But you knew as she approached you on the field with that familiar glint in her eye— you were really in for it this time.
“What’s so funny?” Robin asked, removing her gloves. You let your eyes linger on her fingers for a moment as she gripped the leather. Quickly shifting your gaze elsewhere as you pressed your thighs together.
Something the blonde didn’t miss. Holding back a smug smile as she looked between the three of you.
“You’re just such a loser,” Carol snickered, snapping her gum between her teeth.
Heather joined in with a giggle. “Yeah, maybe you should look into joining the t-ball team. Seems like a much better fit for you.”
Heather knew she struck a nerve, pleased with herself as Robin’s jaw clenched in anger.
“Oh, yeah?” Robin said, ready to egg her on. “And what do you know, Holloway? I’d like to see you do something other than shake your ass at Billy Hargrove during games. Don’t you find it pathetic how desperate you are for his attention?”
“Oh, fuck you,” Heather snapped back. “As if you are getting any. No one even knows your name.”
“You’d be surprised,” Robin replied, her eyes shifting towards you as if on instinct. “You know, I don’t recall ever seeing this one with a guy.”
“You better get back to that pitch before you strike out, Buckley,” you bit back, shooting her a warning look. “Again.”
With a shake of her head, Robin glanced behind you at your “friends” before scoffing and turning. But not before she took her cleat and scuffed up dirt onto your shiny white sneakers.
“Oops.” She laughed, giving you one last look before walking away.
Not missing a beat, Heather turned to you with a bewildered expression. “You know her name?”
You raised an eyebrow. “It’s on her uniform.”
“Oh— right,” she murmured, the conversation quickly forgotten as they discussed their plans for the night: yet another kegger at the Harrington residence. It was something you definitely weren’t interested in attending.
Though they begged you to join them, you merely shrugged and told them to go without you. They didn’t even blink before heading off, their laughter fading as quickly as it started. But you soon found yourself lost in the chatter of the crowd and the roar of the umpire.
You decided to move up, leaning against the chain-link fence, pom-poms thrown to the dirt as you watched your girl stepping up to bat again. The score had been tied, this being Hawkins High’s last chance to win the game.
As always, Robin found you again. She gave you a wink before you heard the sharp crack of the bat. You gasped along with the crowd at the sight of the ball shooting through the sky and into the parking lot.
You couldn’t help the loud cheer erupting from your lips, clapping along with the crowd as she sprinted through each base with ease. And as she slid into home and was declared safe, her eyes met yours. They followed you as she picked herself up, sweat dripping as she removed her helmet. Shaking her dampened hair out with a wide grin.
There was no longer anything inside you that beckoned you to be malicious. You could feel a swell of pride inside you, wanting nothing more than to show her just how incredible she was. How much you cared about her…and you planned on it.
Her teammates were quick to surround her, lifting her up onto their shoulders as the crowd continued to cheer. Robin was clearly embarrassed by the sudden swarm of attention, her cheeks beautifully flushed as they carried her across the field. Soaking in the glory for a few more moments before they were called to line up, shaking hands with the opposing team.
But as everyone began to clear out, you noticed Beth Wildfire hanging back, laughing near the dugout with Robin. As you moved closer, you could make out the way Beth was checking out Robin’s ass as she bent over to grab her glove.
Robin lifted her head slightly, noticing you making your way over.
“Nice win, Buckley,” Beth said, popping in a piece of gum. “We should go out and celebrate.”
“Oh, yeah?” Robin asked, a devious smile on her lips as she rose. You couldn’t stop the jealousy beginning to surface. “You think we should invite the team?”
She was making you work for it, wasn’t she?
“Actually, I thought maybe you and I could—”
“Hey, Robin,” you said, directly in Beth’s line of sight now.
Beth gave you a look, clearly annoyed by your interruption.
Good.
“Hey,” Robin greeted. “What’s up?”
“You still need that ride?” you asked, clutching your pom poms tighter in your fists.
“I’d almost forgotten,” Robin replied smugly.
“Well, uh,” Beth said, taking a step closer to Robin. “I could always take her home after heading to Benny’s.”
“No, that’s alright,” you said curtly, faking a smile as you also took a step forward. “I think I’ve got it from here.”
You and Beth exchanged glances before her eyes widened, flickering between you and Robin who was only looking at you. Beth said nothing, opting instead to give you both a quick nod. But the clear disappointment on her face brought you more joy than you cared to admit.
“I’ll see you later, then,” she said. “Again, nice win, Buckley.”
Even as she walked away, Robin never broke eye contact. “Thanks, Beth,” she called out, a grin widening on her lips.
“Ready to go, mon chéri? I’m starving.”
Hook, line, and sinker.
Tumblr media
And that’s how you ended up here, your legs draped over Robin’s shoulders as her tongue circles over your clit. One hand buried in her hair and the other clutching onto the chain link fence behind you. Her blue hues never leave your face, taking in each and every reaction she pulls from you.
“You know, you’re pretty cute when you’re jealous.” She grins, flicking the tip of her tongue over your swollen clit. Enjoying the way your body twitches with every motion.
“I wasn’t jealous.”
You breathlessly try to deny it, but you both know you’re lying. Once again letting your pride get in the way, prompting Robin to remove her tongue from your center.
“No— Robbie, please,” you whine as she pulls away fully, resting her cheek against your inner thigh as she continues to slowly thrust her fingers inside you.
She revels in the way your walls grip tightly around the digits, almost as if you’re trying to keep them trapped inside. And as much as she loves feeling you, she loves making you beg even more.
So she slips her fingers out of your dripping cunt completely. Standing up to hover over you as she brings them to your lips.
“Please what, princess?” she taunts, her fingers now slipping into your mouth. Your tongue eagerly swirling around the digits until they’re devoid of any trace of you.
Robin removes them just as fast, trailing the saliva-coated digits down your jaw until they wrap around the base of your throat. “Answer me,” her harsh tone only further dampening the area between your thighs.
“Please don’t stop,” you plead without hesitation, rocking your hips up against her thigh. A look of desperation flitting across your features as you clutch onto her shoulders.
“Aww, you wanna cum, pretty thing?” Her tone is laced with condescension, finding yourself nodding almost frantically as you gaze up at her.
“I don’t know, baby… you were pretty mean earlier.” She paused, a small pout forming on your lips as she traced over them with her thumb. “You think you deserve it?”
You nod as if on instinct, whining as she pulls away from you completely. Rising to her feet once again, grabbing your hands and pulling you up off the bench. Your breasts press together as she whispers softly in your ear, “Prove it to me, then.”
You eagerly reach for the buttons on her uniform, tugging the zipper down. Impatiently yanking her pants down over the curve of her ass as you take back control.
“Sit,” you demand, resting your hands on her shoulders. Coaxing her to take your previous position on the worn bench.
“So bossy,” she teases, gripping your hips as you swing your leg over her thigh.
Taking a seat as you slip your fingers past the elastic of her underwear, moaning at the wetness you find there.
“This all for me?” you muse, your thumb brushing over her bundle of nerves with ease now. Having become quite familiar with every inch of her body over the last three months.
“I mean… Beth was looking good tonight—”
You cut her off with your mouth before she has a chance to finish her sentence. That surge of jealousy coursing through your veins as you kiss her deeply.
“She can’t have you,” you mumble against her mouth, before taking her lower lip between your teeth and tugging. “You're all mine.”
Robin curses softly as you begin to grind your hips against her thigh, slipping two fingers into her awaiting heat. Pumping them in tandem with each rock of your hips, as she mewls against your mouth.
“Please.” Now she's the one doing the begging, despite your hips continuing to grind down against her thigh. The mixture of her saliva and your juices making a mess on her bare skin.
You giggle softly as you increase the pressure on her clit with your thumb, burying your fingers deeper inside her. “Say it again.” She moans as you attach your lips to the base of her throat.
The blonde tilts her head back to expose more of her neck as you greedily suck on her flushed skin. A feeling of pride washes over you as you leave blotches of red and purple in your wake.
“You’re mine, Robin.” Your tone is overly possessive, enjoying how her body trembles beneath you. Your words being the thing to finally send her over the edge as she pulls your face back up to crash her lips against yours.
Her fingers dig harshly into the skin of your hips, encouraging you to keep grinding on her thigh. Lifting her leg to increase the pressure on your core. “That’s it… such a good girl.”
She pulls back slightly to watch you with hooded eyes, lips lifting in a genuine smile.
“My good girl.”
Her words elicit a bigger response than either of you expected, your thighs tightening around her own as you loudly cry out her name. Her hands continue to guide you along her thigh, working you through each wave of euphoria that crashes over you.
You’re both panting as you begin to come down from your highs, nuzzling your face in the crook of her neck. “Wow,” you breathe out, lightly tracing over the darkening love bites on her neck.
“Jeez, I think the whole town heard you,” Robin teases, running her fingers along your back.
“Well,” you start, pulling back to look at her. “I’m just trying to congratulate my girl on her big win.”
“Your girl?” she teases.
You bite your lip, trying to hide your smile. “Mhm.”
“Admit it,” Robin says, lifting her eyebrows, eyes tracing the lines of your face. “You were jealous.”
“Maybe I was,” you finally admit, earning an amused smile from her. “But I don’t think I have to worry about anyone else.”
“No?”
“Mm-mm.”
You press a quick kiss to the corner of her mouth before standing, helping her to her feet. Leaning back against the fence as she wiggles her pants back up over her hips.
Robin is still fastening the buttons as you walk out onto the field. Her eyes follow your figure as you reach the pitcher's mound. A fond look falls over her features as your eyes flutter shut, letting the last glow of the setting sun soak into your pores.
Feeling the weight of her stare, you turn back around. Flashing her a beaming smile as she finally reaches you on the field.
“So… Benny’s?” you ask, twisting your skirt back into place. “I’m actually starving now.”
Robin looks at you in utter disbelief as she places her hat back on her head, the brim facing the opposite direction. “Wait, you’re serious? What if someone sees us together?”
You can’t stop the giggle that leaves you, now closing the few feet separating you from her. Cupping her face in between your palms as you press another kiss to her lips.
Right in the middle of the open field.
“I told you,” you say, louder this time. “Let them see us. I don’t give a fuck anymore.”
You slip your hand into hers, lacing your fingers as you begin leading her towards your car. A sight to see, her bat and glove in her unoccupied hand. Your pom-poms in yours.
“You were still an asshole earlier, you know that?” Robin says.
As you share a laugh, you swing your intertwined hands back-and-forth. You’re practically skipping as you pull her along, light-hearted and winded.
“And you ruined my sneakers,” you counter. “Are you gonna clean them for me?”
“Only if you’re good, mon chéri.”
“I think I can manage that,” you reply as you venture further into the twilight. “At least for a little bit.”

Girls Like Girls - Robin Buckley X Cheerleader!Reader
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Summary: Robin has a crush on the new girl in town. Y/N is also a new member of the cheer squad, which means Robin sees her all the time at games and other school events. Unfortunately, Robin is put in a tough situation. She's scared to talk to her because the cheerleaders have a reputation of being mean girls and she fears that Y/N may not feel the same. Little does Robin know that Y/N does not appear as she seems. Y/N becomes best friends with Eddie, which seems unlikely at the surface due to different social circles. This leads to rumors of course and word spreads like wildfire here at Hawkins, which then makes Robin's feelings even more confusing. After hanging out with Steve and the gang, Robin starts to see a different side to Y/N. Will they end up together or will they just remain friends?

Chapter 1
Tumblr media
“Have you guys seen the new girl around?” A peer in the band circle asked the group as they watched the cheerleaders all huddled together laughing with one another. Some chatter rang about, but Robin had stopped paying attention as she had watched you from afar. She didn’t know exactly how to feel about you. You were a mystery to her. She thought you were beautiful, but she was terrified to talk to you as the cheerleaders were known to be mean to everyone in sight. As Robin became lost in her thoughts, she felt a hard nudge in her side.
“Hello earth to Robin??” Someone asked.
“Ow, what the hell was that for?” Robin proclaimed as she rubbed the harsh spot.
“It’s time to go to our next class, didn’t you hear the bell?” Vickie said pointing to the sound of the bell going off.
“Oh yeah of course, sorry.” Robin said, walking alongside her friend.
Vickie started talking about band practice as they walked the halls to their next class. Once again Robin gets lost in her thoughts, spewing ‘yeahs’ and ‘mmhms’ here and there. As they were walking, Robin felt a hard bump in front of her causing her to fall.
“I’m so sorry, I didn’t see you the-” Robin was cut off as she looked to see who she bumped into.
“Are you alright? I’m so sorry, here let me help you!” Y/N exclaimed, helping Robin pick up her books.
“Uh no no it- it’s okay, I’m alright. I wasn’t paying attention to where I was going. I’m the one that’s sorry!” Robin stammered as she gathered her items. Your hands brushed up against one another as you both went to pick up the last item. Y/N looked up at her and flashed a small smile, making Robin’s cheeks turn a bright strawberry red.
“Well now look what you did Y/N, such a clutz aren’t we?” Robin looked up to see the town freak, Eddie Munson, looking down at you both chuckling. Y/N stood up and playfully pushed Eddie and giggled. There were rumors about the two of you being an item, but that was all Robin thought it was. Rumors. But maybe it was true after all. Robin’s heart sank as she watched the two of you being playful with one another. Y/N turned back to Robin and gave a small wave goodbye. “I’ll see you guys around, I’m so sorry again!” You said to Robin as she and Eddie headed off to class. “Yeah see ya.” Robin said silently to herself as she watched you two walk off.
“What was that about?” Vickie chuckled.
“I don’t know what you’re talking about.” Robin tried to play it off in hopes that Vickie would drop the subject.
“You were acting super weird, that's what I’m talking about.” “Look it’s nothing okay, just drop it!” Robin snapped, she hadn’t meant to. Vickie just nodded and sat down. “I’m sorry, I just- it’s nothing and I wish to not talk about it.” Robin apologized as she sat next to her.
Tumblr media
The rest of the morning went by fast and felt like a blur. Robin strolled with her friends to their set table to eat lunch. Robin watched as Y/N and Eddie laughed with one another as she ate her lunch. She felt a harsh bang in her heart as she looked on at the scene from afar. She couldn’t believe that someone like you could be with someone like him. To be clear, Robin never hated Eddie, she didn’t think it was fair how he was treated by everyone. She believes he’s probably a good guy, she just didn’t think this was fair to her. Robin felt envious that Eddie got to be with you. That he got to make you laugh the way you did, she wished it had been her that did that with you instead. As she became lost in those thoughts, she was soon interrupted by a slam on the table in front of her.
“Hey Buckley, how’s it going?” Head cheerleader, Chrissy Cunningham asked sarcastically. The other cheer members look on and  laugh behind her.
“What do you need, Cunningham?” Robin asked with a sigh, dreading what was to come of this unfortunate conversation. A few people had already been watching the scene unfold, as the slam of the table had alerted them. Robin tried her best not to make it worse, she didn’t want the entire lunchroom watching this all go down.
“Do us all a favor and watch where you walk okay? We don’t need you to injure our star flyer.” The cheerleader spoke with a blunt tone.
“Look I didn’t mean for it to happen and I already apologized to her. Accidents happen, don't you know?” Robin said as she tried to continue to eat her sandwich. Chrissy grabbed her sandwich and slammed it on the ground, which made the girls beyond her snicker even more. By this point more people were watching.
“Oh great, here we go.” Robbin muttered under her breath. “Look I-”
“Leave her alone Chrissy! We bumped into each other and it was an accident, that’s it, nothing more!" Robin looked up to see you standing up to the captain of your team. Nobody ever dared to stand up to or defy Chrissy, they always followed her lead and did as they were told. The girls behind her watched in shock, they couldn’t believe what was happening before them.
“Hmph. Just watch out next time okay?” Chrissy huffed and said before walking away from you both.
“Are you alright?” Y/N asked, looking at her with soft eyes.
“Uh yeah I’m- I’m okay, thanks.” Robin said, her cheeks turning a shade of red like before.
“I’m so sorry about her, she had no right to get involved. If she bothers you again, you just let me know okay?” Y/N said with a soft smile and grabbing her hand, giving it a gentle squeeze. Robin nodded to you and before she could say anything, the bell rang once again indicating it was time to head to the next period.
“Come on Y/N!” Eddie and the rest of the Hellfire club yelled. You turned around and held up a finger, letting them know to give you a moment. “Well I’ll see you later Robin!” You proclaimed with a warm smile, walking over to your friends. Robin felt butterflies from that smile you gave her. This was the most that you had both spoken to one another since you had moved here. Robin began to think that maybe you weren’t so mean and scary like she thought. If she couldn’t be with you like she would like to, then maybe you two could at least be friends.

making out with robin is an event. no matter in what position, whatever time of day, you loved making out with her.
and although you didn’t necessarily have a preference, this, right here, was high up there on your list.
sitting in robins lap, still wearing your practice uniform, the pleats in your skirt sitting atop the denim of her jeans. your hands gripped the fabric of robin’s shirt, creasing the cotton but neither of you could care about that currently. her hands cradled your face, soft pads of her fingertips resting against your warm cheeks.
and her lips, your lips, cradled together in what was practically a perfect fit. moving in harmony, synchrony.
your lip gloss was most likely worn off by now, but you so vividly remembered the way robin groaned in your mouth as soon as she got a taste of the strawberry flavor. you repeated a similar sound when you got a taste of the cherry chapstick she wore.
but now, you two were moaning into each other’s mouth at just the taste of each other.

do we like the idea of robin buckley x one grade below, bratty cheerleader!reader who’s just trying way too fucking hard to fit in and pretend she doesn’t fantasize about kissing pop singer Tiffany every waking moment and even when she’s not awake? very cracky bc it’s coming of age.
reader is all half up high ponytails, mtv, braces and eager grins that show off her metal mouth despite most of the school and the entire cheer squad hating her for being a try hard. couldn’t be more different from robin. hell, they don’t even run in the same social circle until her big sister starts dating steve harrington. suddenly, she’s stuck fourth-wheeling with a girl who doesn’t know she exists, who she doesn’t even care about and who is definitely NOT Tiffany. Still can’t help but wonder what it would be like to kiss her though. bonus: she’s gotta tell her bestie Gareth that it’s never gonna happen between them at least once a day, poor guy.
anyways, sound any good? or should i just leave it in the drafts to collect dust? definitely would be black coded (i’ll try and keep descriptions to a minimum tho) because for that SPLIT FUCKING SECOND that i thought Robin was gonna have a black love interest at the end of ST4, i kinda felt seen so i wanna go ahead and fix that for the rest of the gay people who look like me.

stolen kisses between the video store aisles with robin. you weren’t even supposed to be there, having been “banned” from the store if robin was working because of being a “distraction”. but with steve being lookout, you were safe from being thrown out this time.
it was a saturday, one of their busiest days, yet no one was really coming in. meaning it was the perfect time for you to casually bother your girlfriend. after her shift, you promised to buy her a cherry slushie and god she would not shut up about it. so you made it a fun little game that everytime she brought it up, you would get to kiss her. after the first four times she eventually caught on, and used it to her advantage. though you weren’t really complaining.
and how could she not take advantage of this game?? especially when you were wearing that short blue skirt. it was like you were teasing the girl on purpose.
later that night, after being gifted the slushie, robin had the bright idea of mixing colors. her cherry red tongue tasting your blue rasberry tongue.
let’s just say that purple is her new favorite color. especially the specific shade of purple that she had left on your neck…

The Breakfast Club - Eddie Munson X F!Cheerleader!Reader
Tumblr media

"Billy, c'mon, I have to go."
You reluctantly pulled away from the warm embrace of the covers, or at least attempted to. Billy kept the dead weight of his arm slung heavily around your waist, trapping you to the mattress. He released a groan of annoyance as he curled it around you and pulled you into him. You spared a few minutes to stay in his warmth and shed the sleep from your brain. The grey hues of wintry light cascaded onto the room through the gap in the curtain. The room was otherwise obscured from light, making it effortless to close your eyes and fall back asleep. You refrained, deciding to focus your ears instead. The familiar chirping of birds and the quiet hum of unfortunate morning commuters on their way to work on a Saturday morning had you sinking back into your pillow. The smell of brewing coffee reminded you to stay awake. Your eyes blinked open again, and you shuffled from underneath Billy's grasp. He groaned again, this time burying himself into your neck. You giggled, planted a kiss to his cheek, and rolled him off you.
You quickly jumped in the shower, saying good morning to Billy's little sister Max, who was making her way into the kitchen, along the way. You dressed in the bathroom, checking your watch before heading back into Billy's bedroom to say goodbye.
He lay on his front, eyes still closed, but his breathing told you that he was awake. You placed a gentle hand on his arm, leaning in to kiss his cheek again.
"Billy, I'm going now, but I'll see you on Monday, yeah?"
He said nothing. You couldn't suppress the disappointment that swept through you. You turned to leave when he softly grabbed your wrist. You smiled, thinking he was going to ask you to stay, or to give you a goodbye kiss, but his gripped tightened. Your heart dropped.
"Billy, you're hurting me."
"Where do you think you're going?" He stared you dead in the eyes.
You tried to pull away. "I told you yesterday, Billy. Mrs O'Donnell gave me a Saturday detention."
"No, where do you think you're going dressed like that."
You looked at your outfit. You wore the signature green and white of the Hawkins High cheerleading squad. A sleeveless modest style vest, worn with a turtleneck layer underneath, and a green pleated skirt with yellow striping around the hem. It rested just above your mid thigh, so you pulled your socks all the way up to your knees to keep warm. "I told my parents I had cheerleading practice, so they didn't think I had detention. You know this, Billy."
"Do I? Or are you going to see your precious King Steve again?" His grip tightened even further.
He had that crazy look in his eyes that made your entire body freeze. You stopped struggling. Your chest went tight, and suddenly, it was like trying to breathe in a sauna room.
Billy Hargrove was not fond of Steve Harrington, and last Thursday night, you had snook out to go to a party as his house. You had cancelled your plans with Billy last minute after Carol begged you to go with her (not that it took much convincing). It turned out that Billy had been invited to the party by one of his other friends, unbeknownst to you. And you made the mistake of lying to Billy and told him that you were sick.
The biggest mistake of your life.
He saw you there and started an argument that had the entire rooms eyes on the two of you. He had the same wild look in his eyes as he had now. He ended up punching Steve when he had come over to ask if everything was alright.
"I only went to that party for Carol. I didn't even speak to Steve."
"No? Because he seemed real friendly with you."
"He wasn't! Billy, please, I don't want anything to do with Steve. Just please let me go."
He released you harshly, and you immediately brought your wrist to your chest, rubbing the sore skin.
"Get out of my sight."
You scurried out the door with tears in your eyes.
Your first steps outside felt as though you were walking into the worlds largest refrigerator, though you were thankful it wasn't raining. You could do without the frozen shrapnel soaking you to the bone this morning. It had already started bad enough.
The sun had only just begun to rise, not having a chance to warm up the earth yet. Not that it would do much good. The temperature had been dropping more and more as the days went on, this morning being the worst yet. It had turned tomb-like silent outside with the exception of the crunching salt under your feet that had been newly laid to stop people from slipping on the first of winter's ice. A storm had come and gone the previous night, but the sky still hung sadly as a woollen grey shawl, bringing threat of another. The cold, however, was enough to calm you down. It felt refreshing after feeling suffocated in Billy's room.
You checked your watch again. You had twenty minutes to sneak back home and pretend that you had just woken up and got dressed for cheerleading practice.
You started running.

~~~~~
You had made it home just in time before your parents woke up. You explained you were doing stretches in your room, which was why you were red-faced and slightly out of breath. They didn't seem to buy it, but the alternative presumption was far too embarrassing for them not to take your word for it.
Your father offered you a ride to school, but after that rather awkward first encounter with them this morning, you thought it best to walk. And you were glad you did because it didn't take long before they were arguing. Your mother red-faced and clutched onto the cross around her neck while your father rolled his eyes. To the outside world, it would seem that you had the perfect family, but that couldn't be father from the truth.  A lot of the times when they argued, it would be over something petty, but all of a sudden, your name would be roped in, and the entire point of the argument seemed to vanish. You see, to them, you were leverage. As soon as you got a mention, they got the upper hand. They used you to get back at each other: a means to an end. Not intentionally, of course, but that didn't make it any less frustrating. It was nothing uncommon in your household, but that didn't mean you could stand to listen to it. You grabbed your coat and left as quickly as you could, neither of your parents noticing that you were gone as they continued to scream in each others faces.
By the time you made it to the schools entrance, you wished you had brought a change of clothes as ice shot through your veins and goose-pimpled your skin. You drew your coat closer to your chest, clenching and unclenching your gloveless fingers to keep the feeling in their tips.
As you bound up the schools steps like a heat-seeking rocket, the rubber tyres of a coffee brown BMW screeched to a stop. The sudden sound echoing across the empty school premises caused you to turn quickly. Through the windshield, you saw a man in a business suit at the wheel. Beside him was his eighteen-year-old son, Steve Harrington. Your heart raced when you saw him. You weren't expecting to see him here.
Billy isn't here. You told yourself in an attempt to calm your jangled nerves.
His hands gestured animatedly as he argued with his father. Their words were suppressed by the metal walls of the car, but you could surmise their level of volume by the thick vein protruding from Steve's neck. Then, their words exploded like a bullet from the barrel of a gun, piercing through the stillness of the morning as the door opened and Steve stomped out. Something along the lines of "No school's gonna give a scholarship to a discipline case!". And just like that, their poor version of a conversation seized to exist by the single slam of a car door. Almost immediately, the car sped off, swerving around the parking lot like a maniac before disappearing. You stood in shock as Steve held his two middle fingers up at the abandoning vehicle. It was not a home life you would have pictured for King Steve. It was a rather unexpected display you had witnessed, but to Steve, it seemed like any other day. He jogged up the stairs, hands in his jacket pockets and sporting a healing split lip, looking so unaffected by the argument that you almost convinced yourself that you had imagined it.
He paused on the step behind you, finally noticing that you were there, but only for a split second, barely sparing you a glance before moving straight past you and through the doors. You felt heaviness in your chest. No "hello." Even a simple smile would have done. But you supposed they were reserved for his real friends. Sure, you and Steve knew each other - you had friends from the same group, and you had been to a few of his parties, but you hadn't even held a proper conversation with the guy - just dribs and drabs of small talk here and there, but he was nice.
Thoughts of Billy flashed through your mind. It seems as though Billy's appearance at his party the other day had left him wanting nothing to do with you. You understood why, Billy had caused quite the scene over nothing. But there was no reason why you should be punished for his actions. You shook the thoughts out of your head. It was nothing that you should dwell on, so you continued on into the school.
The halls looked strange without their usual morning bustle. The squeak of your sneakers against the freshly waxed floor echoed as you made your way to the school library. You could hear Steve's fast pace ahead of you. His blue, straight-legged jeans and pristine Nike sneakers strode out of your sight until you were left in silence. The silence felt so loud that it rumbled from the high ceiling. You were so sure it was the cause of the last light flickering at the end of the hall. Continuing forward, you took the first left and proceeded straight until you reached the double doors at the end. A flimsy banner hung from the tiled ceiling, "HAWKINS TIGERS ALL THE WAY," with a decent enough illustration of the school mascot, threatened to fall. You treaded lightly as you moved beneath it, holding your breath in fear that any sudden movement would cause it to fall down on you. You released it when you made it safely to the other side.
Your fingers traced along the lockers as you walked, reading the bits and pieces of graffiti as you went; 'Fuck this shit, I'm out' in scrawled handwriting, 'I hate Mondays' with drips of black paint streaking down some of the letters, and a cartoonish depiction of a weed leaf smoking a blunt which made you chuckle. You walked past a trophy case, eyeing the splendid totems of athletic and academic prestige alike. A picture of the basketball team in all their glory on the top shelf, another of the cheerleading squad, yourself included, and a grainy image of the physics club haphazardly chucked on the bottom. Your white sneakers squeaked once more as you pivoted to the right before making a final left to the pine doors of the library.
Before you were six tables placed into two rows of three, with three chairs sitting snugly behind each one. You were surprised to see Nancy 'goodie two shoes' wheeler sat at the front table, with her perfectly permed hair and fur-lined jacket still on her shoulders. You didn't think it was possible for Nancy Wheeler to get detention, but then again, the same could've been said about you. Steve had strangely enough sat on the same table as her, despite every other seat being completely free, leaving an empty chair between them so as not to make it weird. Neither of them spoke to each other and instead opted to sit in silence, fiddling with their finger nails or a loose thread on their jumper. As you took your first foot in, a tall, lanky girl with short, dirty blonde hair sped past you, mumbling a quick sorry when she nearly knocked you off your feet. This unorthodox first impression of the girl, who you had only ever seen around the school halls, had commenced quite the distaste for her already. She was red-faced and sweaty, carrying her thick winter coat over her elbow, undeterred by the chilly weather. The whites of her eyes almost blended with her rosy cheeks, bloodshot like she was holding back tears. She had been in a rush to get here and away from whatever had made her upset. You imagined that's what you must have looked like this morning, and you almost started to feel a little sorry for her. She took the middle table on the left side, dumping her coat on one chair before hiding her face in her arms. If you hadn't known any better, it looked as though she was trying to fall asleep on the table.
You made your way to the table to the right of hers, taking the seat on the furthest side. You kept your coat on for now but dumped your bag on the chair beside you. With a huff, you rested your head in the palm of your hands, watching the back of Nancy and Steve's heads.
The heavy weight of the library door forced its hinges to fold and close impulsively, and Eddie slipped through the crack before it closed all the way, because god forbid he wasted his energy on something as measly as opening a door. The pride in his face when he reached the other side was as if beating the door was life or death. Like he was Indiana Jones rolling under a trap door to avoid being impaled by spikes. All he needed was a wide-brimmed fedora.
You tensed at the sight of him. You had heard rumours that he was a Satan worshiper and that he would do casual rituals on the weekends. You didn't believe it, of course, Eddie was all bark and no bite, but that didn't make you feel any easier around him. Eddie was not a good person. He had been caught one too many times trying to sell weed to freshman because they were 'naïve and easy to upsell' or trying to get them to join his little Hellfire Cult. He would spit and hiss at the teachers, setting up traps in unsuspecting students' lockers, or even straight up stealing their locks so their personal belongings were out for anyone to see. He was like a snake. Once he caught his prey, he was coiling around it, pulling himself into it. Constricting, suffocating, waiting to ascertain it was truly dead before taking a bite. His scales came in the form of clinking enamel badges, and his words were the venom dripping from his tongue. To put it lightly, he was one big bully - a miscreant.
His kleptomaniac fingers touched practically everything he walked by: picking up flyers and not even bothering to read them before dropping them to the floor, unhooking the phone from the receiver so it dangled limply from the checkout desk, and pocketing a few pencils that are no doubt going to end up missing because Eddie Munson has never brought a pencil to school a day in his life. He walked slowly, confidently, giving everyone in the room time to become aware of his presence. You could feel him eyeing you up when he walked by. You met his stare like an owl, following until you couldn't turn your head any further. You weren't going to let him intimidate you and you wanted him to know it. It was the first time you had seen him wearing something other than his usual hellfire shirt and leather jacket. He had the same dark, denim jeans with the holes in the knees and once white reeboks, only this time he wore a black t-shirt with a thick winter coat in a matching colour. Red, plaid fabric peaked out from the confines of his coat. Sensibly, he had worn a shirt over top as an extra layer to keep warm. His footsteps were wide and languid as he moved to his seat, dumping himself on the table behind you and untangling his scarf from around his neck.
Just as everyone settled in, Principal Richard Higgins strode in, stopping dead centre in the mouth of the passageway between the two rows of tables. You tried not to laugh. Principal Higgins was a sight to behold, swapping his usual grey suit and tie for flamboyantly bright pink t-shirt a size too small for his pot belly, a casual white blazer, a pair of jeans and bold coloured sneakers. You didn't notice until now that he had the figure of a lollipop, round on top, but stick thin on the bottom. You understood now why he always wore a suit; it evened him out a bit. Though he did confirm the rumour that teachers were definitely not normal.
He glanced at his fancy watch. "I would first like to congratulate you all for being on time." Though it sounded more sarcastic than sincere.
He seemed to be looking straight at Eddie as he said that. Eddie only responded by kicking his feet up on the desk.
"Now, it is 8:02am. You have exactly eight uneventful hours to spend in each others company." He began pacing up and down the aisle with his chest puffed out in intimidation (well, as intimidating as a lollipop shaped man could be), slapping Eddies feet down as he did.
"You many not talk, you may not move from your seats -" He stopped at the weird girl who had nearly knocked you over and slapped a hand on the desk. She shot up with a gasp. "And you may not sleep."
"Today," He continued, marching to the front, "we're going to try something different. I want all of you to - uh?"
Principal Higgins dropped a stack of notebook paper on the nearest table and then made his way for the pot of pencils on the checkout desk. He paused in confusion when he saw the pot was empty; every pencil hiding snuggly in Eddie's pocket. You rolled your eyes as Eddie snickered behind you. There was a long pause of awkward silence as Principal Higgins made his way around the desk in search of more pencils. There were a few quiet grunts of effort and then a "Ah ha" before he appeared back in front.
"Right, I want all of you to write me an essay of no less than one thousand words describing to me who you think you are." He began handing out paper and pencils to everyone. "And when I say essay, I mean essay. Not a single word repeated a thousand times. Do you understand, Mr. Munson?"
"Mr. Munson understands, Principal Higgins." Eddie said.
Higgins ignored him. "Maybe you'll learn something about why you're here, and perhaps you'll decide whether or not you care to return."
Silence.
"I'll be across the hall in my office. Any monkey business is ill-advised. Questions?"
You saw Steve shake his head and catch Nancy shaking hers like she couldn't believe this was happening to her.
Principal Higgins gave one solid nod to confirm that question and answer time was over before making his way towards the library doors.
"Yeah, I got a question."
He took a pause, hand clenched firmly on the door handle as he twisted around. He raised his brow at Eddie, already sick and tired of his antics.
"Does Don Johnson know that you raided his wardrobe?"
There were a few snickers, including you, trying to discreetly cover your mouth to hide your smile. Principal Higgins was undisturbed. There wasn't a thing Eddie could do or say that would insult him. At least, that's what he wanted him to think.
"You'll find out the answer to that next Saturday. Mr. Munson. Do you have anything else you'd like to say to impress these people?"
Eddie smirked, leaning across the table and clasping his hands. He accepted the challenge, staring the Principal dead in the eye. "You got any naked pictures of your wife?"
The Principal's face turned red, and he referred to him with a hateful look in his eyes. "You've just earned yourself another Saturday detention, Mister." He pointed.
His eyes scoured the room, looking for anybody else who would challenge him. "Does anybody else want to join him?
The laughing stopped.
"Didn't think so."
And with that, he left, leaving the door wide open to give him a straight view of the library through his office window. Eddie chuckled, resting his feet back on the table, clearly proud of the reaction he had gotten.
Then silence.
A lot of silence.
Eddie placed his hands behind his head and closed his eyes like he was going to sleep. Nancy began fiddling with her pencil, thinking about how she was going to start her essay. Steve cracked his knuckles, and the other girl (who you had yet to learn the name of) just stared at her paper. You simply sighed, took off your coat, and began daydreaming about all the other ways you could've chosen to spend your Saturday.
The library was by no means modern, but the faculty seemed to have no appreciation for the sort of library they've been given and ungraciously added touches of their own. There was an ugly mix of deep mahogany and grey sheet-metal bookcases, a couple of fake plants collecting dust, and old academic trophies that probably haven't been touched since the sixties. There were posters, some painted, some printed, but most were horrifically Halloween themed, and a rather provocative David Hasselhoff calendar behind the front desk, which the librarian thought no one could see.
Those few times that you had actually stepped foot in the library, you noticed it was never truly quiet. There were always whisperings of students, the whirring of printers, and the clicking of keyboards and typewriters.
But today, a Saturday, with only five students bored out of their minds, it was truly silent.
The library was so quiet that you could practically hear the books ageing. The books consumed the noise, leaving you all in a suffocatingly awkward space of ineloquent glances. Broad daylight struggled to reach the room. Not that the sun was trying to, but the blinds sought out to fight against it anyway. Instead, it was the hanging lights above that lit the maze of a room. The soft lights were enough to put you to sleep. Your eyes were fluttering softly, your head drooping--
"Master of puppets, I'm pulling your strings
Twisting your mind and smashing your dreams
Blinded by me, you can't see a thing
Just call my name, 'cause I'll hear you scream
Master, master!"
Your peaceful almost-slumber was rudely interrupted when Eddie opened his big mouth to sing that god-awful song. You had never listened to it in your life, but would gladly never listen to it again if it meant that Eddie would shut the hell up. You turned around to give him a glare of annoyance, and when you turned back, you noticed that the others had done the same. He peeked out through one eye, smirking at the look on everyone's faces, before continuing, only this time he was humming instead. Thank god.
"Shit!" Eddie sprang up, feet down, sitting up straight and alert. He startled you, and you turned again. "What are we supposed to do if we gotta take a leak?"
He pretended to undo his zipper, the childish act making you roll your eyes. "If you gotta go, you gotta go."
"Oh my god." Nancy looked like she was going to throw up. She turned and shielded her eyes.
"Try it, and you're dead before the first drop hits the floor." Steve threatened.
Eddie laughed, accomplishing his mission of upsetting the others. "You know, you're pretty sexy when you're angry, big boy."
He turned his attention to the quiet girl sat adjacent to him. She shifted under his gaze.
"Hey Buckley," She turned with a look of boredom, like she was used to his antics, "why don't you go and close that door so I can get our little cheerleader here naked?"
You almost gave yourself whiplash with how quickly you turned to glare at him. "Don't even think about it asshole."
"Why you a virgin?"
"Fuck you."
"You're disgusting." Nancy added.
"Awe, I'm sorry, you feeling left out, Princess? There's plenty of me to go around. But I suppose if you don't want to wait your turn, I wouldn't say no to a three-way."
"Ugh, you're such a creep!"
"Listen, man, if you piss me off, you're totalled." Steve defended the two of you, though you felt it was more for Nancy's sake than yours.
"Totalled?"
"Totally."
"Just ignore him, Steve. Maybe he'll go away." Nancy suggested, placing a hand on his shoulder to turn him to face the front.
There was a pause. Their shoulders relaxed when they had thought Eddie had given up.
"Oh, so are you two like boyfriend/girlfriend?" Eddie teased.
No reply.
"Steady dates?"
Silence.
"Lovers?"
Nancy continued to ignore him, but Steve smouldered with anger.
"Tell me, Princess, have you two played hide the sausage yet?"
"GO TO HELL!"
"Hey, keep it down in there!" Higgins called from across the hall.
He rolled backwards on his office chair until the five of them came into view. They were all seated exactly how he left them. He rolled back out of sight.
Everybody visibly relaxed.
Eddie hid the shock of Nancy's outburst behind another annoying smirk.
"Just ignore him, guys." You advised. "He's only doing it to get a rise out of you."
"Sweetheart, you couldn't ignore me if you tried." He gave you a confident wink.
You hated that it made your cheeks flush with heat. You quickly turned before you gave him something else to tease you over.
"We gotta close them doors. How are we supposed to party with the old pinhead checking us out every two seconds?" Eddie stood from his seat and moved towards the doors.
"I don't think that's a good idea. The doors are supposed to stay open." This 'Buckley' opened her mouth for the first time since she's got here. Everybody looked at her bewildered.
It was only Eddie who didn't seem phased by this, but he still paused. "What do you mean 'supposed to'?"
"Vernon said, Dingus, and I really don't want to get on his bad side. I mean, Mrs. Clickety Clackety is already threatening me with suspension, and I can't afford that. How am I supposed to get accepted into any sort of college if I get suspended. They'll think I'm a horrible student, and I'll be one big massive reject and--"
"Whoa, Robin, slow down." Steve interrupted her breathless rambling. You were struggling to keep up with each word. She was talking so fast. Just total word vomit, like she'd been trying to keep it down since she got here and suddenly just projectiled everywhere. It didn't even occur to you then that Steve knew her name.
"So?" Was Eddie's only blunt reply.
"So, why don't you just shut up." Steve scowled. "There's four other people in here, you know? Stop thinking about yourself for once."
"Wow, you're a math wiz, Sporto. I bet you know your ABCs, too. See, I knew you were smart. You hide it well, Harrington." Steve grimaced at that. "I mean, let's face it, you gotta be smart to play basketball."
"Who are you to judge?" Steve challenged. "You don't even count. If you disappeared forever, it wouldn't make any difference. You may as well not even exist at this school."
There was a twitch in Eddie's eye. He hated how that got to him, but he recovered swiftly. "Oh? Well, maybe I'll join the basketball team or the wrestling team? Or better yet, the student council, I think you'd like some of the ideas I have in mind for this place."
He moved slowly, intimidatingly to Steve's table, stopping in front of it before leaning down so he towered over Steve. He reminded you of an adult reprimanding a little boy. But Steve wasn't a little boy. He could hold his own.
"You could try, but they'd never take you."
"Damn, I'm hurt. truly." Eddie was definitely not hurt.
"Will you just stop? If you keep this up, Higgins is gonna come storming in here. I've got a game next Saturday, and I'm not gonna miss it because of you."
"Wouldn't that be a bite? Missing a whole game." Eddie feigned sympathy.
"You wouldn't know anything about it, Freak. You've never competed in your life."
"I know, and I feel all empty inside because of it." Eddie puffed his chest as if his heart was swelling with pride. "I have such a deep admiration for guys who toss balls into laundry baskets."
"Whatever, man. You don't have any goals."
"See, that's where you're wrong, I do have goals." Eddie paused in suspense, and Steve perked up a little in his seat. "My goal is to be exactly like you."
Steve slumped back and rolled his eyes. "You're worthless."
"I compete." Robin added after a beat. All eyes turned to her. You could tell she didn't like that much, but she continued anyway. "I'm in band, and I'm on the debate team, and I'm in the Latin club and chess team. This one time, with the debate team, we had this big banquet at the Hilton and we had to get dressed up. And, uh, I didn't have any shoes so I had to wear my mom's shoes. It was kind of weird because my Nana doesn't like when I wear other people's shoes. But, yeah. It's not athletic, but I compete in a lot of stuff."
"That's not the same, Rob." Steve sighed.
"You have to be a jock to compete?" Eddie confronted.
"I was talking about athletic competition."
"What's the difference?" You questioned. Everyone turned to you this time, but you kept your attention on Steve. You could see the proud smile on Eddie's face out of the corner of your eye.
"What do you mean?"
"What I said."
Eddie's eyebrow raised in amusement, enjoying someone else putting Steve in his place for a change. If he was being totally honest, Eddie didn't really have anything against Steve. Steve's friends, on the other hand, were a different story. Eddie found himself being hounded by Steve's friends more often than not, but Steve didn't actually do anything. But he didn't stop it either. Of all of them, he was the easiest to rile up, and Eddie couldn't help but cease the moment whenever he could.
Steve scoffed but bowed out of the conversation. "You're all fucked."
"Hey man, watch your mouth. There's ladies here remember? They don't appreciate you using a word like FUCK! in front of them." Eddie gestured to you. "I don't know if you know this, big boy, but her mother is a nun!"
It was true that your mother was a religious person, but she was certainly not a nun. "No she isn't."
"Sorry," He turned back to Steve. "Her father is a nun!"
You rolled your eyes, but couldn't stop the chuckle that escaped your lips. The sound caused a mischievous glint in Eddie's eyes. You hated it.
"Higgins is leaving." Nancy proclaimed suddenly.
Eddie paused with wide eyes like a deer in headlights, not wanting to get caught out of his seat. Everyone looked down the hall in time to see Principle Higgins exit his office, not even sparing them a glance. Eddie proceeded to the doors, peeking his head out to watch Higgins drink from the water fountain at the other end of the hall.
Eddie came back in the room. "We gotta move fast, the scumbag's just filling his tank."
Steve sent Nancy an annoyed look that said 'why did you have to tell him that?', causing her to shy away. She was already thinking the same thing herself. Eddie pulled a chair to the door, stood on it and took a guitar pick out of his pocket. With the guitar pick, he removed a screw from the door spring assembly. He jumped off the chair and the door closed behind him.
"That's not funny, man. Fix it."
"Please fix it." Robin pleaded.
"Am I a genius?" Eddie asked, though it was more of a brag than a question, as he quickly pushed the chair back to its rightful spot.
"No, you're an asshole."
There was a muffled "Hey!" from behind the door and everyone rushed to act as casual as possible. Eddie quickly took his seat, only this time he sat next to you. You tensed uncomfortably, smelling the faint cigarette smoke on his coat. You wanted to smack him for being so stupid. You just prayed that Higgins wouldn't notice he swapped seats.
The door busted open.
"Why is this door closed?" There was fury in his eyes.
Everyone remained silent, avoiding meeting his eyes. Steve turned to look at Eddie as if deciding the best way to rat him out.
Eddie jumped in before he could say anything. "How should we know, we're not supposed to move, right?"
Higgins singled out Steve, obviously noticing how he had looked at Eddie. "Why is that door closed?"
Steve looked to Eddie once again. You were cringing at how obvious he made it. You could feel Eddie shaking his leg under the desk. A nervous habit? Perhaps Eddie was afraid to get caught. Or he was just furious at Steve for even thinking about being a snitch. He lowered his eyes at Steve, a glare that said, 'Go on, I dare you'. Steve backed down.
"We were just sitting here. Like we're supposed to." Nancy answered for Steve, who was taking a suspicious amount of time to reply.
"The wind must've blew it." Robin added.
"It just... closed, Sir." Steve reluctantly agreed.
Principal Higgins eyed Eddie anyway and pointed a thick sausage finger. "This looks like the mindless sort of crap you'd find amusing, Munson."
"I think a screw fell out of it. I heard something that sounded like a screw falling out." Eddie tried to persuade.
"Yeah, right. Give me the screw."
"I don't have it."
"Am I going to have to turn you upside down and shake you?"
"I don't have it, Sir. Screws fall out all the time. The world is an imperfect place."
"Give it to me, Munson."
He smiled suggestively. "Where do you want it?"
"With all due respect, Principal Higgins," you interrupted before he made things worse for himself. "Why would somebody steal a screw?"
Eddie looked at you in surprise, but you made it clear to him that you didn't do it because you liked him. Higgins walked back to the door.
"How do your parents put up with you, Munson?"
"They gave up on me a long time ago, Sir." He said it with such sincerity that your heart actually ached for him.
Higgins opened his mouth to say something but decided against it. He realised how pointless it was to go after him. Instead, he went to the door, trying his luck at opening it and hoping it stayed that way. It didn't. He tried again, this time grabbing a chair to hold it open.
"That won't work. The door is way too heavy."
Higgins ignored Eddie. He pushed the chair against the door and let go. It threw the chair across the room, and the door slammed with an echoing bang. There were a few gasps of surprise and snorts of laughter.
Higgins fumed, eyeing the room for a solution. "Harrington, get up."
Steve unwillingly got up from his seat as the Principal directed him to grab one end of a bookcase.
"How come he gets to get up? If he gets up, we'll all get up. It'll be anarchy!"
You elbowed Eddie's side to shut him up. He wasn't making this better for himself, which would no doubt end up with all of you getting punished. The two of them heaved together, and Steve actually ended up doing most of the work. The odd book fell to the floor, nearly tripping them up as they hefted it along slowly. They struggled for a few more minutes to slide the bookcase over to the door. Only when they finally got it in place did Eddie open his mouth again.
"That's very clever, Sir. But what if there's a fire?"
Higgins hadn't thought of that, but he didn't let it show.
"I think violating fire codes and endangering the lives of children is unwise at this juncture in your career, Sir." Robin chimed in and then sunk back in her seat under the Principal's stare.
Higgins turned back to Steve. "Alright, what are you doing with this? Get this outta here, for God's sake! What's the matter with you? Come on!"
Steve wanted to kill Eddie for opening his big mouth and then Robin for supporting him. The two of them struggled again to move it back to its original place. Once done, Steve sat back down with bated breaths.
Principal Higgins started towards Eddie, sweat dripping from his forehead, despite barely lifting a finger. "You're not fooling anybody, Munson. The next screw that falls out will be you."
Eddie muttered under his breath. "Eat my shorts."
"What was that?" Higgins barked.
"Eat. My. Shorts."
"You've just bought yourself another detention, Mister."
"Ugh, I'm crushed." Eddie faked a wince.
"You just bought yourself another."
"Well, I'm free the Saturday after that."
"Another."
"Hmm, beyond that, I'm gonna have to check my calendar."
"Another."
You looked at Eddie fearfully. He was getting absolutely slaughtered by Principal Higgins. Although, no matter how much you dislike him, you couldn't help but be moved by his defiance.
"Cut it out." You whispered to him.
He ignored your plea, keeping up his front. He wasn't going to let this scumbag of a Principal break him. Not in front of the others, and, for reasons Eddie didn't quite understand yet, certainly not in front of you. He dared Higgins to give him another.
"Okay, Munson, your ass is mine for the next two months."
"I'm thrilled."
"You sure would like everybody to think that, wouldn't you? Maybe if you spent more time trying to do something with yourself and less time trying to impress people, you might be better off." Higgins brought his attention back to everyone else. "I'm not gonna put up with any more crap from any of you. Next time I have to come in here, I'll be coming to crack skulls."
He set his threat with a hard, angry glare and finally left the room.
The silence set in once again.
But, I’m a band geek (Robin Buckley x fem!reader)
Or, Robin tries to navigate the insecurities that dating a cheerleader is bringing up. It all comes to ahead when she see’s you with Chrissy and your popular friends at the pre-senior year party. Comfort w slight angst (4.5k)
can be read as a stand alone or you can see how they got together here.
TW: Reader’s best friend is mentioned to be homophobic and reader defends them. Reader refers to themselves as robins girlfriend. Reader mentions briefly a distressing coming out story. Robin talks about not being ‘like everyone else’ and wishes she was normal.
Tumblr media
You were popular, Robin knew you were when you started dating over the summer.
She had seen you in the halls last year before you had ever really spoken to each other. Noticed how the rest of the school treated you and subsequently her.
You were like Claire from Breakfast Club, and all too often she felt like Alison.
When you first got together she forgot all about your respective social rankings, it was hard not to when you spent weeks visiting her at work complimenting her. Her previous conceptions were thrown right out of the window, replaced with the real you.
She didn’t even think about how things might change when school started up again. How could she when you would stamp your lips against any inch of her  as soon as you were alone?
She had thought about bringing it up, asking if you would sit with her at lunch or stick to your usual routine. Would you introduce her to your friends as a new friend or not mention her at all? What if you didn’t even acknowledge her existence when you got to school?
Sometimes she thinks of the day you came into scoops with the rest of the cheerleaders, you hadn’t spoken a word to her that day. She learned later on that you had been jealous, but still the thought nagged at her. What if you were embarrassed by her? You were always so sweet to her, but you didn’t earn the intimidating reputation for no reason. You could be blunt, had allegedly made the previous head cheerleader cry when you were just a freshman.
Every day she planned to talk to you about her worries and every day she changed her mind. You would coddle her in affection, finger tracing shapes into her arms while you asked about her day. Pecking her lips in between each of her sentences because you just missed her so much. She didn’t want to burst the lovey-dovey bubble and in that moment all of her concerns melted away. Her mind filled with nothing but you.
Robin had never felt so special, she hardly believed it was real. The first few weeks she would awake in the morning and wonder if it had all been a dream. On one of your dates, she had even pinched her arm just to make sure. Her vision didn’t falter though, you were still grinning at her, sucking on your milkshake straw and offering her a taste.
For now she had swept all her negative thoughts into a closet and locked the door tight. Only now the strain of her thoughts had the door ready to burst, the lock insubstantial to the pressure of everything she had tucked away.
She was at a back-to-school party, she hadn’t wanted to attend but did at your and Steves's insistence.
She had spent extra time getting ready, it wasn’t something she was used to, but it made her chest grow warm. She wanted you to think she was pretty, wanted to hear one of your cheesy lines or watch a toothy grin appear on your face as you looked her up and down. It always sent her into a spin, catching your eyes devouring her.
She was wearing the lipstick you had left at her house and it had her stomach swirling with anticipation. You always complimented her chapstick or her lipgloss, if you were alone you insisted on kissing her to get a taste. Sometimes you would offer her to try some of your own holding out the tube temptingly, only to press your lips to hers when she agreed.
You would wipe away any of the smudging with your thumb, eyes full of mischief at her red cheeks and incoherent stutters. After she would want to wrap her fist in your shirt and pull you to her lips again, kissing you until you were dizzy. She was still nervous though, a little reserved to pull you into her lap just yet. You didn’t seem to mind too much, adoring to press your fingers into the fat of her thighs and drag her towards you, sometimes leaving crescent marks in your wake that you would press mind-numbing kisses to over and over again.
You had gone to the party earlier to help your friend set up the party. Robin didn’t mind it meant she could make a grand entrance with Steve.
She had been bouncing in the car with impatience. Fiddling with the hem of her shorts over and over and checking her lipstick was still on in the mirror at least 5 times on the short drive over. Steve kept looking over at her when he thought she wasn’t looking, but he couldn’t keep the amused grin off his face.
She had been so excited to see you, fussing with her hair on the walk up the stairs. Imagining your face when you saw her. Wondering which of her favourite expressions you would be wearing. Would she see your flirty smirk or your coy smile?
It turns out she wouldn’t get to see any of your expressions.
 It was an hour since she arrived and you had been surrounded by a small crowd the entire time. She only got to see your face in brief glimpses, none of them long enough for her to really take you in.
She didn’t want to let it get her down, but seeing you was pretty much the only reason she had turned up. Every second she expected you too excuse yourself out of the group and come see her, only the moment never came.
The ice in her cup had completely melted now, her hand covered in the condensation from the sweating plastic. Somehow her fingers were sticky too, even though she took extra care to make sure none of the punch sloshed down the sides when she scooped it in.
Boys from the school continued to flit in and out of the circle, many offering drinks to you which you continued to accept. While she was only on her first drink, you must have been on your fifth by now.
Her nostrils flared at the thought of you encouraging their flirtations and lingering touches. You were flirty, she knew that before you had dated, but now you were dating her. Even if it was a secret surely you wouldn’t be entertaining the stupid jocks trying to get into your pants.
She hated parties. She hated being in crowds surrounded by people she didn’t at all care for. Still, she had come especially for you and you hadn’t even come to say hello, or even acknowledged her existence with some eye contact.
Every moment that ticked by without you looking her way, was another log for the fire. She was practically simmering in rage. Still she knew a smile from you would snuff the fire out, so she waited.
She knew she could come over and join the group to talk to you. In fact, Steve was insisting that she should. “Go help her Rob, she looks like she needs an escape” She just felt stuck against the living room wall she was slumped against. Her untouched cup of punch crinkling in her hands as she took her frustrations out of it.
She just couldn’t. Her body wouldn’t move. She felt pathetic.
Surrounding you were all the people in school she would never be good enough for. The crowd was filtering away now. Still, Jason and Chrissy flanked your right, the latter's hands wrapped around your wrist, showing off your matching friendship bracelets while Heather and two other girls from cheer stood in front, chatting to you eagerly. All popular and all rich.
Not some band loser that can’t even afford a license.
She felt like the outlier, how could she just walk up to that group and speak to you in front of everyone?
“Do you want me to come with you?’ Steve offered, nudging Robins's arm.
She shook her head, cheeks flushing red. Steve couldn’t understand, he was one of them, well he used to be. Even spending time with the former King Steve would earn Robin some looks sometimes, but you? That would just attract more attention than she ever wanted, she didn’t want to be noticed by Jason and his cronies. She didn’t want to hear the more cut-throat cheerleaders talk about her.
“I need the bathroom” Robin mumbled, turning her gaze from the scene in front of her and shoving her cup into Steve’s spare hand. Steve tried to stop her and follow after, but she was too fast. He knew he had to do something though.
Robin scrambled up the stairs, ignoring the protests of couples lining the stairs as she shoved them out of the way. Secretly glad to be making them suffer because why couldn’t she be making out with her girlfriend on the stairs?
Why hadn’t you come to seek her out, you knew she hated parties, you knew she only came to see you.
She tried three doors before she finally found a bathroom and threw herself into it. Sliding the lock into place and pressing her back into the wooden door. The pressure grounding her as she sinks to the floor.
She hates the feeling of the cold tiles on her bare legs, hates that she wore her stupid shorts for you, hates that she had been so excited earlier only to be crushed entirely at the first obstacle your relationship had faced.
Her relationship wasn’t going to be like the one Steve had with Nancy, she knew that. She couldn't come up and kiss you in the hall, hold your hand on walks around town or even tell anyone but Steve that she had a girlfriend in the first place. Still, she had hoped she would be able to talk to you without fighting off everyone else to get to you.
She wished she wasn’t intimidated by talking to the large popular groups you belong in. Why didn’t she work like a normal person? She always dreaded the moment when people would talk to her for the first time and realise she was weird. She could always see it, the awkward look on their face when they started looking for a way out of interacting with her. Talking to people like Heather or Chrissy always reminded her that she wasn’t like the other people her age and social interaction didn’t come naturally.
You had never made her feel like that though. if she said something others would think was weird you would sense her freezing up in regret and say something just as strange.
You would trace shapes into her palms as she told you long-winded stories, encouraging her to go on. With you, while she still didn’t feel normal in the way others did, she at least felt accepted. You liked her the way she was and didn’t want her any other way. At least that was what she always thought…until now.
She scrubs her lipstick on to her hand, feeling silly for even making an effort. She can’t see herself in the bathroom mirror, she’s sunk too far to the floor, but she knows she must look like a mess. Her breaths come in giant puffs and tears are dripping from her eyes. The embarrassment she feels only makes the crying worse.
She’s falling in love with you and she fears she’s falling alone.
She feels, instead of hears, the banging at the door. The music is loud and for once she’s thankful for it, otherwise, the person on the other side probably would have heard her breakdown.
She ignores it, hearing only an unintelligible voice until it gets louder, the voice scratchy with the strain. “ROBIN?”
She flinches, her head banging against the back of the door in shock. She groans in pain, clutching her head with one hand while trying to wipe away her tears with the other. She considers not answering and waiting until you go to try a different bathroom to make her escape. Last year she probably would have, but being friends with Steve has made her a little bit braver, so she undoes the lock and opens the door a crack.
She gives you an inch, but you take the whole damn mile, pushing the door open until you can squeeze in and then shutting it behind you. Quickly sliding the lock back into place.
It takes you a second to assess her face before you bundle her into your arms.
One hand goes to her back, tracing up and down her spine the way she adores, the other cradling her head to your neck. You can feel her wet tears against your skin and it makes you hold her even tighter. “Baby…” You coo, hand smoothing down her hair over and over again.
Your honeyed voice cuts right through her, the pet name even more so. It brings down the dam as she starts to sob in your arms, hands clutching your shirt and arms, desperate to not let you leave.
“Did someone hurt you?” Unlike before, your voice is rough as you try to hold back aggression at the thought of someone hurting your sweet Robin.
She merely shakes her head, burying herself as far into your skin as can. She accepts your comfort for as long as she can until the bad thoughts fill her head again. Eventually, she can’t really stand touching you anymore and the fact breaks her own heart.
“Why didn’t you come and see me?” She finally asks, deciding to rip off the band-aid and get it over with as soon as she’s caught her breath.
She feels your body tense as the realisation sets in, that you're the reason she’s crying. You thump your head back against the door, squeezing her tight against your body, you made your sweet Robin cry.
“I tried-”
“It didn’t seem like you tried!” Robin argued, pulling away from your neck to look at you. Her face is completely red, from anger or sadness you're not sure. Her brows are furrowed in anger, despite the tears threatening to spill from her eyes again.
It feels like a knife to your chest when you try to brush away the tears on her cheek, only for her to move away from your touch as if it burns.
“I’m so-”
“Were you just having too much fun with your popular friends to remember me or were you so embarrassed by the thought of being seen with me you decided to pretend I didn’t exist?”
“Robin wha-”
“And why was Chrissy Cunningham all over you?” Robin crosses her arms with a final huff and she glares you up and down.
It takes you a moment to gather your thoughts together, caught off guard by Robins's tears and then angry outburst, you don’t want to make anything worse, you don’t want to dismiss her feelings, but your brain isn’t stringing together any coherent thoughts. All the cups of punch you’d drank tonight didn’t help either.
You had been guzzling drinks in hopes of excusing yourself to fill up your cup so you could find Robin without your friends buzzing around. Only you kept getting a new drink handed to you over and over again.
By the time you had gotten away from them, so you could flirt with Robin to your heart's content, Steve was glaring at you and telling you she had run off to the bathroom.
Your legs feel weak after running around to try and find your girlfriend in your drunken state so you sit down on the toilet, lid down, clutching your head in your hands. Robin is still waiting for you, arms crossed tightly as she taps her foot against the floor. Getting angrier by your lack of response every second.
“I’m sorry,” You start, heart, beating erratically from the events of the last ten minutes. “But I did try, I really wanted to see you Rob I promise I did” You explain, looking up into her eyes, hoping she can see the truth in them. “I just couldn’t get away from them, they kept asking me what I’ve been doing all Summer for me to be ignoring all their invites.”
“What did you tell them?” She asks, still a storm of anger. Her usual clear blue eyes you always likened to a tranquil ocean now reminded you of a treacherous sea. Her shoe squeaks against the tile as she drags her toes against it. She braces herself for the lie you might have told them, hoping it will protect her from the sting.
“That I started talking to you when I came to get some ice cream one day and we’ve been fast friends ever since,”
Her eyes snap to yours, “Really?” You nod in confirmation, fiddling with your fingers as you try not to look away from her piercing stare. “Then why didn’t you come over to talk to me?”
You sigh, looking up at the ceiling, “I…There are a lot of reasons, but none of them are because I’m embarrassed by you, I promise,”
The tightness in Robin’s chest loosens a little with the confirmation, but she still needs more. She moves closer, grabbing your hand in her own and squeezing. “You can tell me anything,” She says, wondering if she might not be the only one with a closet full of worries.
“I don’t even know where to start. Mostly, I just like spending time alone with you, because when we’re with other people we have to just be friends and it’s so hard, I swear I look at you and my eyes just turn into hearts.”
Robins's throat bobs, and she kisses your knuckles from the confession.
“Plus, Chris, she knows I like girls and…it was difficult at first. She didn’t intend to be cruel or anything she would just, give me pamphlets for..” You swallow harshly, gripping Robin even tighter.
Her heart breaks at the thought of you coming out to your childhood best friend and not receiving the support you deserve. She knows you and Chrissy have been best friends practically since birth. The aged friendship bracelet on your wrist is a constant reminder of it.
She had come out to a boy she had known less than 3 months and he had been more supportive than she could ever have hoped. It reminds her how lucky she was and how awful it is that Steves acceptance of her isn’t the norm.
“It’s better now,” You insist, protecting the friend who must have hurt you more than she could know. “She’s…coming around.  I just worried that I might out you to her if she sees us together too much and I don’t want you to have to deal with that. “
“I’m sorry,” Robin says, ducking her head in shame. Your hand finds her chin and you lift her head back up, pressing a tender kiss to her lips, salty from both of your tears.
“Don’t be,” You insist, kissing her once again. “It feels good to talk about it, I’m so used to having to hide all my feelings. Sometimes I forget I have someone I can be honest with now” You brush your thumb across her cheeks, “Thank you,” You say, kissing her again, even longer than the last, “for giving me that”
Robin feels light-headed, from your kiss, from the emotional rollercoaster she’s been on today and from how much she adores you. She wants to keep kissing you, but she knows you deserve some honesty as well.
“To be completely honest, i should have talked to you about my feelings sooner, before blowing up on you. I’ve been worrying for a while now”
Your finger traces the furrow in her brow, smoothing it out. “I’m sorry that you felt like you couldn’t talk to me about it till now. I feel like such a bad girlfriend”
Even though her stomach drops at the idea of you feeling bad, she can’t help but smile a little at the word girlfriend rolling off your lips. It was still so new to her, “No, you’re not, I was just embarrassed,”
“Are you still embarrassed?”
She is, her cheeks are heating at the thought of telling you, but you were so brave telling her about Chrissy that she powers through. “I’m worried that at school, you’ll pretend you don't know me.”
“What! Why would you think I would do that?” She knows she’s upset you again, for thinking so little of your character so she tries to explain further. That it isn’t you, it’s her.
“Because you’re like the most popular cheerleader in school and I’m just some band geek”
You squish her cheeks, pushing them together. “don’t call my girlfriend a band geek” You insist.
She sees the sharpness in your eyes at your little threat, a fraction of what someone who actually hurt you might experience and it sends a little shiver down her spine. It loses all intimidation when your press a sloppy kiss to one of her squishy cheeks, nuzzling your nose against the soft skin below her eye.
She giggles, but still shakes her head insisting that it's true, like for some reason waving around pompoms and shouting chants makes you more of a person than she is.
“I’m serious Robs, you’re incredible, the effort you put into playing the trumpet is super inspiring and you are so fucking smart, you make me drool whenever you speak a different language, I swear.”
Robin is still shaking her head, opening her mouth to rebut you, but you kiss her before she can. You suck on her bottom lip, making her whine. You grin in victory when you pull away.
Your face is barely an inch away as you look directly into her eyes. “There’s no way I could ever pretend you don’t exist, Robin Buckley. I’ve spent an entire year pinning after you, like I’m gonna spend any time away from you now”
“I really really like you,” I’m falling in love with you. It blurts out before Robin could control it.
Your teeth press down on your lips in an attempt to control your grin, “I wish I could walk in on Monday and give you a kiss that would let the whole school know that your mine, but I guess it’s gonna have to be me introducing my new best friend to the school instead” You nuzzle your nose against hers, which is still flushed red, “I really, really, really like you too”
“Drunk friends can hold hands at least right?” Robin says, standing up from the tile and holding her hand out to you as an offering. In lieu of a verbal response, you take her hand and smatter it in kisses.
“Is it bad that I want to stay in here with you all night?”
“I was kinda planning on bringing you home with me instead,” Robin says as you wipe the dry tears from her cheeks, she leans into your touch this time and you reward her with a long forehead kiss.
“I can work with that,” You grin, looking her up and down.
Robin smiles at you, looking utterly fond as you tuck some of her hair behind her ear, fingers tenderly brushing against the curve of soft skin. “I didn’t get to tell you how pretty you look tonight Robs, swear you just get more and more good-looking every time I see you”
Robin snorts, hooking her chin over your shoulder and wrapping her arms around you for a good hug. You immediately reciprocate the action. “I think you’re imagining it”
“I don’t think so” She can hear the smirk in your voice, and then she feels the squeeze of your hand on the top of her thighs and knows exactly what you're looking at over her shoulder. “I love these shorts”
“Pervert,” She mumbled into your ears, it earns her a laugh as you squeeze her extra tight.
You spend a little longer holding onto each other in the bathroom. Thinking over the past hour and each promising to be a little more honest with each other in the future. It’s only interrupted when someone starts banging on the door, yelling at you for hogging the bathroom for so long.
“Will Steve still look like he wants to beat me up when we go back out there do you think?”
Robin laughs, “He’s never won a fight in his life, I think you could take him”
She leads you towards the door, “You’re probably right” your, giggling along with her as you flex your arm in a show of muscle.
When you open the door, the drunken guy Robin recognises as Fred from the wrestling team recoils in horror as he stares at you. Robin not even noticed as he sputters out an apology.
You wield your icy stare like a weapon as he tries to come up with excuses.
“Move,” You instruct, he hurries to do so, apologising profusely to Robin as he bumps into her. Robin laughs as people move out of your way as you tug her down the crowded corridor she had to fight her way through.
Yeah, you could definitely take on Steve she thinks.
When she’s pulled into your circle of friends, a stare from you shuts up Jason before he can start.
It’s awkward for a second until Heather is complimenting her hair and it’s like she’s been initiated because everyone treats her like one of them. Jason passes her his fresh drink as he goes off in search of his own.
Chrissy raises her eyebrows at you, but Robin squeezes your hand in reassurance. She’s here for you now, you’re not alone. You squeeze her hand back.
When she grows exhausted of talking she finds she doesn’t need to, Heather and Kath fill the circle with Idle chatter and Steve soon joins the circle too. His arm across her shoulders makes Chrissy loosen up a bit more and she talks to you animatedly about cheer tryouts next week.
That’s when Robin realises, next week she’ll get to see you in your cheer uniform. Maybe school won’t be too bad after all.
you said you wanted eobinfics so I WILL DELIVER 😍
What about robin and reader who plays basketball, she showed up to a game because of band but forgot half of the music because she spotted a pretty player on the court, robin immediately had a huge crush on reader and of course reader noticed the cute French Horn player, who looked like she was desperately trying to understand what's going on
Adorable. I love this idea!
I hope this is what you wanted and you enjoy it. Thank you for requesting <3
Court crush
Tumblr media
Robin has been in band for years, a class her mother made her take starting in elementary. Robin felt like an absolute dork carrying her French horn everywhere and felt even worse wearing the hideous outfits high school made her wear.
Robin hated playing at the sports games. The judging eyes of all the jocks heated her skin as embarrassment flushed through her. She hated cheering them on when they were making fun of her. Plus Robin didn't understand sports. Basketball? The ball goes in the net. Football? Tackle and run. Hockey? Tiny black thing and net. She barely understood what she was cheering for.
But then Hawkins high school started a girl's basketball team, and Robin was more than happy to cheer on girls for a change. She was simply a girl after all so of course she eyed every player. But number 7 had Robin gripping her French horn for life. She was incredibly attractive. Her hair was thrown up, the basketball jersey loose against her body, and the baggy shorts. Robin was captivated by her.
Robin didn't notice the instructor, she didn't notice that the rest of the band was setting up their instruments to play. Her eyes were focused on number 7 as she warmed up on the court.
Throughout the game, Robin tried to focus on the music, but the notes got lost in her day dream.
~~~
Y/N expected to feel eyes on her, she was a player on the court after all. But she felt someone staring at her, like a very hot gaze that followed her every move.
After the game, Y/N packed up her bag and switched out her shoes. She still felt eyes on her, so she looked around. The band was putting away their instruments, all except one girl. She had short brown hair, a deer-in-the-headlights look, and tan skin. Y/N offered a small smile as the girl continued to stare, but the girl seemed to be in a zone. Y/N offered a wave, the action caused the girl to snap out of whatever daydream she had. Her eyes went wide and she quickly looked away. Her head down as she gathered her instrument, most of the band already leaving the stands.
~~~
Robin prepared for the game, this time praying she had a grip on herself compared to last time. But the second the players ran out of the court, Robin found herself in that trance all over again.
And again
And again
"This is like the sixth game you've been messing up and playing a different song. What's going on?" Vickie asked another player that Robin stood next to.
Robin felt the heat of embarrassment cover her skin. She didn't want to admit she'd been checking out one of the players and her mind turned to mush.
"Lot going on." Robin shrugged, Vickie gave her a look but left it alone. Robin cursed at herself for being so obvious. She put her foot down and made herself pay attention to the whole game and not just the pretty girl.
As the game finished up, Robin felt like she could take a deep breath. She never knew how hard it was to keep her eyes off of someone.
Robin hummed a song as she packed up her instrument, excited to spend her Friday night at Steve's and eat tons of junk food. Probably spend the night talking to Steve about the pretty girl.
"excuse me?" Robin heard a voice coming from behind her, and a tap on her shoulder.
Robin turned around too fast, her foot getting caught in the bleachers. She winced as she fell backward, her hands preparing to catch herself when another pair of hands grabbed her hips.
"Sorry, didn't mean to scare ya," Y/N said a smile on her face. Robin blushed as the girl held her in place. She was even more gorgeous up close. Even when she was all sweaty.
"No! It's fine. That's all me. I'm super clumsy. I trip over my own feet all the time. Ever fall up the stairs? I do! I once even fell out of a car, how is that possible?" Robin ranted, her mouth coming out with random words as she lost her breath. Robin couldn't help but notice she ran completely out of breath, catching her breath as she took in the silence. She went to apologize when the girl spoke up.
"You're cute, what's your name?" The girl removed her hands from Robin's hips, and Robin couldn't help but wish she kept them there.
"Robin, Robin Buckley!" Robin said, throwing her hand out.
Y/N eyed her hand, but gladly accepted. She shook the nervous girl's hand, "names Y/N."
Even her name was gorgeous.
"You're really good!" Robin said, proud of herself for coming up with a compliment.
"Well, I have to believe you since you watch me more than my coach." Y/N teased, a smirk on her face that made Robin's stomach flutter.
Robin didn't know what to say, she was embarrassed to have been caught. She tried to stutter something out.
"It's okay. If the pretty band girl wants to stare, I'm honored."
"Pretty?" Robin smiled, she wanted to giggle but couldn't bear to embarrass herself anymore.
"Very pretty." Y/N said, her smirk now a smile as she handed Robin a piece of paper.
"If you ever want to go past staring, give me a call," Y/N said, throwing Robin a wink as she walked off.
Robin looked down at the paper, excitement filling her as she saw the number written with a heart at the end.
Steve was so going to hear about this.
I’m so disappointed that they made Vickie look, dress and act exactly like Robin. There were so many gf routes to choose from, cheerleader gf, punk gf, artsy gf, preppy gf, jock gf, nerdy gf, shy cute gf, skater gf, literally so many options but instead they gave us Robin 2.0
I wanna be Robin's mean cheerleader girlfriend. Making out with her is fun because she gets so flustered and nervous so fast. You're so pretty and intimidating and no one's surprised when she stares at you during sports games and pep rallies because you're hard not to stare at. She can't believe you're sitting across a table from her and Nancy doing research and trying to figure out what's going on. She's so nervous because she thinks Nancy probably hates her but mostly because you're right there and she can see you up close, still in your cheer uniform from earlier, and she literally cannot shut up no matter how hard she tries. You've been watching Nancy get more irritable and you're starting to get a headache from all this reading. You give Nancy a look, silently asking her if she wants you to distract Robin for a while and she gives you a look back like please oh my god so you just fucking drag her into the next room. Robin is choking on her spit and struggling to breath normally as you shove her onto the bed of the room you're now in, door closed. You stand in front of her and she gazes up at you in awe, something you're used to, but you like it a little better on her. You inspect your nails, gaze flicking up to her and she swears all the air rushes out of the room.
"What were you talking to Nancy about?" It's more of a statement by your tone of voice and she’s struggling to remember now. After a moment of fumbling for an answer, she remembers.
"Uh... b-band. Playing... you know, uh," she wiggles her fingers in front of her face in a trumpet gesture, unable to remember the name of her instrument. You hum in response. You walk closer and her heart speeds up with each one of your steps.
"Go ahead." You say, watching her closely.
"Yeah, sure. Yes." She replies immediately without even thinking. You could tell her to bark like a dog and she absolutely would.
"W- uh, with what exactly?" She asks after a moment of silence. You're standing right in front of her, popping your pink bubblegum.
"Tell me about band." You say. So she does. She starts spouting all the information she can possibly remember about being in band, not really realizing what she's talking about. She's tripping over her words and talking too fast and she can't stop staring at you, she can't shut up until you climb onto her lap and straddle her thighs and she's overwhelmed with radio silence.
"Yeah?" You say, coaxing more information out of her. Right when her breath gets less shallow and she starts rambling about sheet music again, you grab her hair, tugging harshly and tilting her head back and she lets out a shuddering gasp that boarders on a moan. Your other hand grabs her jaw, squishing her face, manicured nails digging gently into her cheeks.
"Open," you say, and she does. Her eyes are locked on you, full of lust, and watch close as you open your own mouth, lowering it towards hers. She thinks her heart is going to stop. You gently spit your gum into her mouth, a small trail of spit connecting you. She moans when it hits her tongue, warm and wet and tasting of you, and you smirk.
"Keep going," you coax, hands resting on hers, knuckles white as she grips the bedsheets and moving one under your cheer skirt and the other under your top, encouraging her to feel you up a little. Your face moves to her neck, pressing hot, slow, open mouthed kisses against her skin. You smell like hairspray and and face powder and bubblegum and she feels like she could cum on the spot, just like this. You hum against her skin at the last few things she tells you before you start nudging your leg against her burning core, and her words just devolve into moans. You'll be happy to distract her like this for a while.
Girls Like Girls - Robin Buckley X Cheerleader!Reader
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Summary: Robin has a crush on the new girl in town. Y/N is also a new member of the cheer squad, which means Robin sees her all the time at games and other school events. Unfortunately, Robin is put in a tough situation. She's scared to talk to her because the cheerleaders have a reputation of being mean girls and she fears that Y/N may not feel the same. Little does Robin know that Y/N does not appear as she seems. Y/N becomes best friends with Eddie, which seems unlikely at the surface due to different social circles. This leads to rumors of course and word spreads like wildfire here at Hawkins, which then makes Robin's feelings even more confusing. After hanging out with Steve and the gang, Robin starts to see a different side to Y/N. Will they end up together or will they just remain friends?
Chapter 2
Tumblr media
“You know what Buckley, if you’re gonna criticize the way I do my job why don’t you just do it yourself.” Steve said jokingly, handing Robin a vhs tape and headed back to the counter.
“It’s not my fault you don’t know anything about movies.” She chuckled as she put the movies away.
“Well you have fun with that, I’m gonna go man the register.” Steve said as he continued to walk away from his friend. Robin continued to put away the tapes, a few people came in here and there but it was mostly dead on this particular Friday night. Which was odd, all things considered. It was around 8 o'clock when a group of people had walked in.
“Welcome to Family Video, let me know if you need help finding any-, oh great here we go.” Steve said as the group walked in. “What?”  Robin asked, as she was restocking the candy display. She stopped in her tracks for a moment, looking up from her spot. “Oh uh hey there.”  Robin stammered.
“Hi Robin!” Y/N said excitedly. Robin had a hard time putting words together. You usually came here at the same time every Friday to pick out a movie. Robin almost thought you weren't coming because it had gotten so late. But there you were, standing in front of her in your cheer uniform. 'Practice must have gone late." Robin thought to herself. She stood from her spot to get a better look at you. ‘God she looks so pretty.’ She thought. A few people walked in the store, causing a slight breeze to head in your direction. She caught a scent of your perfume. She closed her eyes for a moment as she took in the smell, it was sweet and gentle. It smelled of vanilla. “Are you gonna pick a movie or what Y/N?” Eddie interrupted, bringing Robin out of her thoughts.
“Yeah yeah yeah, just give me a minute you goose.” Y/N turned to her friend and said jokingly. She walked over to the movies and went section by section to find the right one.
“Okay let's not destroy the display guys.” Steve said dreadfully as he walked over to the rest of the Hellfire club trying to clean up the mess of his hard work he had done earlier.
“Boooo, you’re no fun Harrington.” Gareth had mocked. Steve picked up the last item, sarcastically laughing back the comment. “I’m fun, I’m Steve Harrington for god sakes.” He muttered under his breath as he walked back behind the counter.
Robin watched you as you pondered for the right film. You had gone aisle by aisle with no luck. Then suddenly you had picked up a movie and scrunched your nose as you had inspected it. Robin felt a smile creep upon her face, she couldn't help but look down in hopes you or anyone else could see her.
“Now why are you making that face?” Eddie questioned as you held up the movie to show him why you had said expression written upon your face. It was a copy of My Bloody Valentine.
“What about it?” Eddie continued to question.
“Do you see what section we’re in!?” Y/N proclaimed, pointing to the sign that had said ‘romance’.
“Oh god are you gonna make us watch a girly flick? Sam made us watch one of those last week, okay we don't need a repeat of that!” Eddie groaned.
"I can hear you, you know!" Sam stated from across the store.
“No you goose, this movie is in the wrong section.” She laughed walking over to the counter to check out the film.
“Did you guys find everything alright?” Robin asked as she scanned your items. “Yeah we found everything okay.” Y/N said getting her money out of her wallet. “That's not true, this was in the wrong section.” Eddie stated pointing to the movie.
Robin groaned, “Damn you Harrington.”
“What is this pick on Steve day?!?” Steve had proclaimed.
Robin finished checking you out, she couldn't help but admire how beautiful you looked under the light. She was soon interrupted from pondering as you had said your goodbye’s, waving and flashing a small smile to Robin. She had waved back and gave the same smile in return, but that soon faded as she saw Eddie put his arm around your waist as your group walked out of the store. Robin let out a sigh and hunched over the counter, letting her head fall into her hands.
“You okay?” Steve asked his friend, giving her a small nudge.
“Yeah I’m fine.” Robin said, picking her head up and brushing the hair out of her face. “Yeah that’s a load of bullshit and you know it.” Steve said, sitting up on the counter. “You like her don’t you?” He questioned.
“Does it really matter? She’s with Eddie, she’s not interested in girls.” Robin stated, messing with the string coming off of her sweater. Steve couldn’t help but feel sad for his friend. He couldn't imagine how hard it is for her to try and find someone during times like this. I mean this is the 80’s and a small town in Indiana for crying out loud. “Have you even asked her?” He questioned.
“Oh yeah let me just go up to the most beautiful woman ever and just say ‘wow nice weather we’re having here, oh hey by the way do you like to kiss girls?’ Do you know how stupid that sounds?!” Robin got nervous just thinking about it and when she got nervous, she rambled.
“Well don’t talk about the weather with her for starters.” Steve chuckled.
“You know what I mean dingus!” Robin said, giving her friend a slight shove.
“Look, you won't know unless you ask, who knows maybe she likes you back? You thought that she was mean and scary because of her being a cheerleader, you were wrong about that weren’t you?” Steve stated, he tried to remain hopeful for Robin. He wanted his friend to be happy. She shrugged, Robin’s hopes in finding a girlfriend became low after everything that had happened with Vickie. She was happy that the two could remain friends, but it still stung nonetheless.
“Next time you see her, you should ask her to hang out. It’s a start to get to know her and to know for sure right?” Steve asked, now facing her.
“I guess, I just don’t wanna go through that kind of heartache again.” Robin said, looking down at her feet.
“Well no matter what, I’ve got your back.” Steve said, bumping into Robin. This caused her to chuckle.
“Alright alright, let's get back to work so we can get out of here. You owe me a bite to eat after this for making me clean up your mess of your so-called organization.” Robin laughed as she went to organize the returned tapes.
“You’re never gonna let that go are you?” Steve asked.
“Nope.” Robin yelled from the back.
Hawkins Highschool, 1986, Cafeteria, The next day
God, I can’t wait to tell Chrissy! I need to find her, and tell her ever juicy detail about that day in the library.
After hours of waiting for the heavenly lunch bell to ring, it was finally 5th period. I picked up my books, practically pushing half of my classmates through the classroom door. Lunch was the only moment I had during the day to sit down and talk to my best friend, english class being a study hall today resulted in spiteful hushes from Mrs. O’Donnell, and other bookworms around the lecture hall. The class being a study hall also meant I couldn’t get a word in to Eddie as well. This didn’t stop me from softly kicking his chair, resulting in him kicking back, a signal we used back and forth to give each other a small hello. I paced down the hallway, looking at familiar faces and friends of my brother. One of them, Dustin? I think that’s his name, looked like he had to say something important to me as I sped past his group. Not now curly head, I’ve got to get to the cafeteria, I thought to myself. Usually I’d walk to lunch with Chrissy, but I needed a moment to myself to prepare for the words that were soon to part from my memory, and fall to her ears.
Tumblr media
Once I finally reached the doors of the cafeteria I ran to the lunch line, greeted by half of the basketball team and almost all of my fellow cheerleaders. Most of them didn’t realize I had appeared beside them, but the ones who did had this disgusted and freaked expression. I picked up one of the green lunch trays, walking through the line picking my items of interest for the day. When I was halfway through my options, Chrissy appeared beside me, about to burst out of her cheer uniform.
“Y/N, you practically pushed me over after the bell rang! Why were you in such a rush to get here?”
“We can’t talk it about here Chris, when we’re done eating, I’ll tell you.”
“Oh god Y/N, are you pregnant? I mean I kind of guess the way you’ve been peeing so frequently.”
I whisper-shouted, looking over my shoulder to see if anyone had heard. “No, I am not pregnant! And I pee as much as any other girl. It’s about Eddie.”
“Oh,” Chrissy stopped in the middle of her sentence, making a shocked and confused face. “Oh! Y/N you need to tell me everything!”
“I will once the freak police aren’t around. Jason basically cornered me the last time I brought him up.”
Tumblr media
When Chrissy and I reached our usual table, eyes followed us - well me. Athletes waiting for the latest gossip on the good girl with the freak. I placed my tray on the table, sitting next to Chrissy. Jason was the first to say something, to break the awkward silence that had grown since I sat down.
“So Y/N, how was your ritual sacrifice with Munson?”
I rolled my eyes, taking in a deep breath, trying not to let the wrong words slip out of my mouth at the wrong moment.
“It was actually great! He’s not as dumb as you all think, and he’s an excellent kis- I mean reader!”
Chrissy’s eyes widened, looking at me in fear, hoping the others hadn’t hurt my slip up with my words. I hadn’t realized I said the wrong thing - or that everyone else had caught it until Jason got up from his seat, headed for the Hellfire clubs’ table. The rest of the cafeteria watched as his face was beet red, darting for Eddie Munson.
“Jason! Wait! I didn’t mean to say-“ I was cut off by his raised voice shouting from in front of me.
“I warned you Y/N! And your little boyfriend!”
Once Jason reached the Hellfire table, the members looked confused, and mostly terrified that Jason Carver was face to face with their dungeon master. Eddie was laughing, until her turned to see Jason, smoke coming out of his ears. Eddie squinted his eyes comically, slightly concerned why his head was about to pop.
“Well if it isn’t Jason Carver. Are you here to donate your soul for our game? Or would you like to start with the cheerleaders over there?” Eddie pointed to the jocks table where I stood. He gave me a sly wink, that caused Jason to push Eddie’s chest. Jason looked behind him, to see me with my face brightly rouged. Jason connected the words I spoke and Eddie’s wink towards me, realizing it was true.
“What fucked up spell did you put on Y/N to kiss her, freak? Or did you force yourself on her?”
“Well Jason, why don’t you ask her yourself? She’s the one who kissed me first.”
“No, there’s no way in hell that Y/N Wheeler kissed you.”
I couldn’t hear their conversation from the table, but when I saw Jason get up in Eddie’s face, something told me to walk over there, before things got out of hand. I began walking across the cafeteria, shoes squeaking in anxiety, I tapped Jason on his back. He put his hand up saying,
“One second, I’m trying to get this freak to tell me what he did to Y/N.”
“He didn’t do anything to me Jason, I kissed him.”
Jason’s face dropped, almost looking upset. I knew he had a crush on me, but if he acted this way over a kiss, what makes him think I would ever feel the same way. He turned to look at me. I couldn’t tell if he was about to hit me or walk off. I flinched softly when he raised his hand up, scoffing as he walked away, and out of the cafeteria. I honestly felt bad for him. I just couldn’t get over the fact he would have destroyed Eddie over my feelings for him. I tried to calm down from my fear, but my emotions were cut off by one of the freshman.
“YOU KISSED Y/N?” And then another freshman.
“YOU KISSED MY SISTER?” My brother, Mike shouted.
Eddie ignored the groups’ rambunctious rambling, turning to look at me. He looked as if he was about to burst into tears. I grabbed his hand, looking into his eyes. I tilted my head toward the door signaling for him to follow me. And that he did, I walked him towards the door. His grip never loosened from mine. I looked back a couple times, making sure he was still behind me. I led him to my locker, pulling him in for a kiss, my hands releasing from his grip, cupping onto his face. The kiss held the same force as our first, his velvet plump lips, against mine clad with cherry chapstick. His hands met my waist, gripping at my top swiftly sliding his hands down to my rear. His eyes opened a couple times, looking at my locker, then back to me. I tugged at his jacket, taking in the moment and the material. His tongue glided across the bottom row of my teeth, then connecting with mine. The taste of marijuana, cigarettes, and mint chewing gum filled my mouth. I was the first to pull away, hands still placed on his bicep.
“Look Eddie, I’m really sorry about Jason. About this whole tutoring idea. It was stupid for me to even want to be with you knowing the people that I associate myself with and-“ Eddie cut me off, he has a tendency to do that, a lot.
“Wait, you want to be with me? And this still isn’t some prank your pep squad planned?”
I whined at his disbelief. “Eddie! I don’t care what anyone else thinks about this, or us. Because I will never stop liking you for anyone else, not even Chrissy - uh, don’t tell her I said that.”
Eddie stifled a laugh, pulling me back into a kiss, deeper than the previous ones. I could feel his smile underneath my mouth, his lips quivering as my tongue slipped into his mouth. I pushed his bangs from his forehead, kissing his temple. I left a ruby lip stain.
-
It was finally the final period of the day, my feet tapping on the wooden floor below me. After lunch the day had warped my memory, resulting in me daydreaming throughout the rest of the day. Eddie is the only thing my mind could focus on, not the math assignment in front of me, or the history project that was due on Monday, or the physics quiz I had bombed last period. Eddie Munson is the poison my mind ran on. Everything about him made me wonder if we would have already been together if I wasn’t a cheerleader. Maybe all the stalking eyes on me would be gone, and I’d be able to be seen in public with the only person I wanted.
I didn’t hear the bell ring, due to my daydreaming. I broke from my dream when a book slammed against my desk, my eyes meeting my teachers. I blinked my eyes a couple times, realizing the bell had rang 5 minutes ago. I picked up my back pack, stuffing my utensils and items haphazardly into the rear pocket, placing it on my back. I walked out the door way, greeted once again with stares from my peers, and a smile from Chrissy.
“What took you so long? I’ve been standing here for 5 minutes, we’re going to be late for cheer practice.”
“I can’t make it today Chris, I have a um, dentist appointment. Really bad cavities!”
“Oh well, I’ll tell Tina. See you Monday Y/N!” Chrissy gave me a hug and wave before walking toward the gym. I smiled back toward her, a sigh of relief dismissing from my nose. I made my way down the hallway, shoes now squeaking in eagerness and excitement. I made it to my locker, struggling with my combination. Once I finally got it open, a small dime bag and a piece of paper fell out the top. I bent down to pick up the bag first. It was filled with weed buds and a black Sharpie message written on the front : “WANT TO GO OUT ON A DATE?”.
I picked up the piece of paper, shoving the dime bag into my pocket. I lifted the sheet to my nose, the scent of cologne and marijuana wafting my nostrils. I opened the note. “MEET ME IN THE PARKING LOT, THE BIG WHITE VAN -EDDIE”. I held the note close to my chest, eventually putting in into my pocket as well.
Tumblr media
I walked out the back doors of the gym into the parking lot. I made my way to the parking lot, a faint sound of heavy metal sound waves traveling through the air. There Eddie was, leaned up against his van, a smug smile painted on his face. I ran towards him, tripping into his arms.
“Careful sweetheart, someone’s excited?”
“You have no idea.”
Eddie pulled me in by my waist once again. Kissing the top of my head, taking in my scent. I looked up into his eyes, captured by his beautifully sculpted brown eyes. He bit his lip, looking down at me as well.
“Well quit staring Wheeler! What are you waiting for? Or is princess too chic for the freak?”
“Never too chic for you, Eddie.” I said as I entered the passenger side of his van.
God, Chrissy is going to scream when I tell her about this!
there are so little smut drabbles for my gf robin it’s driving me nuts oml. but anyways, robin with a cheerleader gf?? omg??
She is so crazy about you it’s honestly so cute. She has to stand in the stands and watch as you prance around in that cute little skirt of yours and it drives her nuts. it makes her panties damped with her wetness that’s soaking it. Later when you go to chill at her house, she can’t stop thinking of you at all. Everytime you talk to her about something she just zones out thinking about how fine you are and she honestly doesn’t know what to do. Robin will admit, she is a little afraid to go public with your relationship because she is afraid for you. She knows that you are v popular + you’re on the cheer team and dont know how they would react. but you always reassure her to don’t stress her pretty little head and that you’ll deal with them if anybody says something <33 i’m ngl robin would have some thoughts about eating you out in your cheerleading skirt. She wouldn’t say it to you though because she doesn’t wanna make anything awkward. but when the time does come, oh god, she loves it. She loves the feeling of your juices slicking her chin as her fingers thrusts in and out of your sloppy cunt. She could stay there for hours.
watching lucas score the point for his team to win the game was nothing short of magical— you were so proud of him and all of the chants and praise he was receiving. you had the biggest grin on your face as you danced the end of your cheer routine, your heart squeezing at the sight of robin, nancy and steve cheering lucas on too.
lucas was talking to jason as he looked over at you, smiling. making his way towards you, you told your teammates that you were about to leave and that they all did great.
speed walking to lucas with your arms outstretched, you jumped into his arms and gave him a quick peck on the lips. lucas laughed and wrapped his arm around your waist.
"lucas! you did so good, im so proud of you" you put both of of your hands on lucas cheeks and did a kissy face, kissing him again on the lips and giggling. lucas swatted you away and shook his head.
"thanks y/n, you know i shot that for you right? i feel like im on top of the world right now "
lucas started flexing his arms and striking silly poses, wiggling his eyebrows and shooting finger guns. you rolled your eyes with a very unladylike snicker.
"babe you're so stupid its adorable, come on lets go get burgers! im starving."
"alright im hungry too, but let me tell the guys im going with you instead okay? be right back!"
"wai-" lucas kissed you on your cheek and ran towards his teammates, quickly telling them something and giving a small smile and a wave as a goodbye as he started to make his way back towards you again.
"so what was that all about babe?" you raised one eyebrow up and then narrowed your eyes, hands on your hips.
"nothing, y/n. they just wanted me to come with them and hangout after the game ya know?" you nodded your head and walked beside him, grabbing his hand.
"mmm okay, you better not choose them over me. you know my feelings get hurt easily."
"yeah y/n/n i know, geez. you ready to eat?" lucas gripped your hand tight and started to walk outside to the parking lot, spotting robin and steve.
you started to smile as you saw them walk towards you guys, while swinging you and lucas' hand back and forth.
"god job lucas! you did amazing" steve held his hand up for a high five and lucas high fived him at record speed, a cute blush coating his cheeks.
"hi y/n, you did great too" you smiled wide and put your fist out for a fist bump, watching steve bump it back.
"thanks stevie, hey robin you're awfully quiet." robin smirked and held her hand up for lucas to give her a high five, patting him on the back while moving forward to do a handshake you two came up with a while ago.
"performing is tiring, anyways do you two need a ride home?" you looked at robin then at lucas, nodding your head.
lucas spoke up "actually we need a ride to the diner, can you guys drop us off?" you gave robin and steve the best puppy dog eyes you could muster and poked your bottom lip out. they gave in with eye rolls, it worked like a charm every single time.
"thanks yall, i owe you both one!" you exclaimed, giving lucas a kiss and leading lucas to steve's car with your hands still intertwined.
you guys arrived at the diner in 15 minutes, stomachs growling loudly.
walking into the diner into you two's favorite booth, you ordered two burgers, fries and y/f/f (your favorite flavor) milkshake with two straws so you and lucas could share.
sitting down in front of lucas waiting on the waitress to come back with your orders was getting boring, you both were starving.
"im so hungry lucas even your arm looks like a thousand dollar steak right now."
lucas laughed.
"woah y/n dont go eating me now! i need my arms to shoot hoops. among many other things." you rolled your eyes and slumped in your seat a little, throwing a salt packet at his head.
"ow! what was that for?" lucas rubbed the spot the salt packed landed on his face.
"im just sooo bored, im sorry." you weren't sorry, not entirely. your laughs were becoming louder until you spotted the waitress with you guy's food.
"finally!" you exclaimed, bouncing up and down in your seat while clapping your hands with a smile on your face.
"you sure know what to say y/n, thanks ma'am" lucas grabbed a fry and put the milkshake in the middle of the table, taking a sip.
"thank you... lucy!" you read the woman's name tag and looked back up at her with a smile, hoping she would leave soon.
lucy smiled, turning around on her heel and going back to wherever she was in the first place.
"so, how are you feeling right now babe?" you grabbed your burger and took a bite out of it, grabbing a napkin to wipe your hands and mouth.
"like im on cloud nine. did you hear the crowd and how happy people were? god, i would do anything to relive that y/n." you smiled at lucas and grabbed his hand from across the table.
"you were fucking on fire on that court lucas, this was honestly just the beginning. you're gonna win for hawkins way more in the future." your thumb started to rub circles on lucas hand.
"thank you y/n. that means a lot to me. im so glad you were there to watch me. you're the best." you gave a soft "awww" while lucas grabbed your hand and placed a kiss on your knuckles.
"i love you, you know that?" you asked while lucas bit another bite out of his burger. you laughed.
"and i love you more. do you wanna share the milkshake or wait a while?" you grabbed your straw and stirred up the milkshake a little bit.
"let's save the milkshake and then take the food to go. im getting tired. do you wanna come to my house and watch movies babe?"
"you know it, let me call steve and see if he can come pick us up okay?" you nodded as lucas went to the payphone and began to dial steve's number.
"yeah okay, waiter! can we get to go boxes and a cup to go please?"
the waitress came over to you and put two white styrofoam containers on your table. you put you and lucas's food in both containers and your milkshake in the cup while grabbing two straws.
"y/n, steve said he's on his way!". lucas began walking towards you, grabbing both containers and kissing you on the cheek.
"today was amazing. you'll always be my number one star baby." lucas smiled at your words and wrapped his free arm around your shoulder.
"always."
