Warning: angst, kind of mention of suicide by reader but it’s more of her cry for help, mental health issues due to the death of a loved one (soulmate), blaming Álvarez for her pain, swearing, so many tears.

A/N: I came across a Facebook clip and it just broke me. And all I could think of is how the reader would be months after the loss of Coco and how she blames Álvarez for her pain. I am ignoring the whole math mountain (Coco still had a drug addiction) and Hope.

It’s been 6 months Six long heartbreaking months and nothing ever seems to be getting better, the brain fog, your drinking has picked up, Letty tried to help you but she needed out of that house and left Santo Parde two months ago, you talk (well she text and you sometimes respond, but she is flourishing in Florida).

Angel is the main one from the club who checks in on you twice every single day to bring you food and see how you are doin g. He knows how broken you are but isn’t sure how to help you and you really think the only reason he comes around is because he feels bad for ignoring Coco.

You show up to the club as today is Angel’s birthday he wanted you to stop by and see Nails and walk over to the bar and ask for a rum and coke. “How have you been doing girl? I miss seeing your beautiful face around here” Nails ask.

You look at her and shrug “I’m still here, it’s not any less painful then when I got the phone call I still cry myself to sleep every night.” You say. Nails looks at you with sadness in her eyes as she doesn’t really know what to say. Other than she walk over and hugs you.

An hour later you are 6 drinks in and you are borderline drunk and then men come out of church and you see the one person who you were hoping and praying you wouldn’t see Álvarez and you can feel the anger and the hurt build ten times more. Most of the guys check in on you from time to time but Álvarez has never even reached out to you which surprised you in the beginning but eventually it just made you angry.

Álvarez looks at you and walks over and says “I know you blame me but I just did what I thought was good for the club” your shocked and look at him and raise your “the best for the club!? Are you fucking serious? Instead of helping him, you sent him away! Away from anyone who could actually help him! You just threw him away!”

Everyone has stopped what they are doing and watching you two Álvarez stares calmly back at you “look at you! You can’t even help yourself how would you have helped him? And what are you doing drinking that crap? You need to take better care of yourself. Especially if you want to get better, and in time it will!” He turns from you while the tears form in your eyes and in a split second you grab his gun and hold it to your jaw everyone gets up and but cautiously surrounding you.

You scream “What the Fuck! Nothing’s getting better, it’s only getting worse! Why isn’t anything getting getting better! It’s like I’m drowning in my own fucking head!” Angel walks closer behind you “I can’t do this shit anymore I need it to all stop for two seconds” Angel and EZ tackle you with EZ grabbing the gun from you and Angel holding you in a tight grip while you two crumble to the floor “I just need everything to stop!”

After the situation the night before you agreed to go to rehab and therapy and EZ has called for Álverez to step down as president because he and most of the rest of the crew including Creeper, Bishop, and surprisingly Nestor think that what happened with you was his fault and him acting like he didn’t do anything wrong doesn’t sit well with anyone. Álverez calls for a vote and he in unanimously voted out.

A year has past since that night you have made a completely 360 change. You sold Coco’s home and decided to move to a little island in Cuba and found love again with someone you never saw coming even though he was always there Angel.

Hi yokan!!! Hope you are doing well😄.Last few days I have been re-reading TW 1,2&3. And I found something really amazing. That you have given me something which I have always wanted. A beautiful Platonic relationship. I always felt like there was no such in The Orginals. IDKY🥱But in this amazing fic I got some really amazing Platonic relationship between characters. I'm a sucker for those😅 The bond between Caroline and Elijah, Caroline and Jackson was really good. In TVD we had two relationship like that Stefan and Lexi ( my fav🥰)& Damon and Bonnie. But TO had none 😔. And in my opinion Stefan and Caroline & Klaus and Camille could have been that but Julie had to ruin it 🤐 . (Totally just my opinion no hate to anyone)

I am also a sucker for platonic relationships and absolutely hate the idea that men and women can't be friends without ~~something more happening (especially in fiction). Julie Plec was the QUEEN of ruining perfectly nice platonic relationships by inserting subpar, annoying and often diminishing romance into things. Caroline and Stefan were the BEST as BFFs, romance ruined them completely. Damon and Bonnie were nice! I also liked Caroline and Enzo (although have to admit I did ship them romantically for a bit), but Julie didn't even let them become friends properly.

In TO, the only platonic relationships are Marcel and Davina (it's more like father and daughter, but sometimes friends too, I don't know) and Klaus and Hayley (although their shippers would kill me for saying that hahaha I never thought there was anything romantic between them, they were just co-parents and friends after a while). There was also Vincent and Freya, but they barely had any screen time tbh.

Writing the platonic side-relationships in The Wolf is one of my favorite parts, so it always warms my heart so much to read opinions like this 🥺 It's hard to insert that type of thing into a KC story, I never know how interested anyone is in reading about the other characters 🤣 But I have fun writing it. Elijah and Caroline in particular is something I was very proud of, because they had almost as much development and ups and down as Klaus and Caroline. He starts off by being romantically confused, but once that clears up they're just the cutest of friends, and it's very personally rewarding to see that they actually *feel* like friends, instead of merely forcing them into a relationship because. They had to overcome issues, differences, were there for each other through various things, to the point where I don't think they need Klaus to have a relationship. What they have is totally independent from Klaus, and I'm really proud of how that worked out (there is more to come for them!).

But another platonic relationship I really enjoy writing is Klaus and Cami! I didn't realize the two of them could've been nice as friends until I wrote them tbh. From the show, I just always had the feeling they had zero chemistry, nothing in common, Cami was the exact type of person Klaus abhors in general and it didn't make sense to me that they'd ever be drawn to each other in any way (especially after the way he treats her at the beginning). But with some tweks here and there, it could've worked. Obviously in TW they have Caroline in common, so she bridges the gap there. But I think their relationship evolved nicely. I didn't write Cami that much into the story until I absolutely had to because who cares, but I did write her in a way that I think would've made me like her better - as someone who didn't just let Klaus' BS slide, who actually demanded some reckoning on his part, made him actually apologize for what he did to her, to the point where she could start to trust him. And then on Klaus' side, someone who wouldn't just pout and cry whenever she said 'bad Klaus!' and then let her run around the city wrecking havoc just because. The balance works for me.

One of my favorite scenes in TW3 is between Klaus and Cami (it's up ahead, I think maybe chapter 18)! As one of my favorite chapters in TW2 was chapter 23, which is mostly Caroline and Elijah, Klaus is totally absent for the whole chapter.

Anywaaaaaay, I'm rambling 🤣 Sorry for the TED talk you didn't ask for, but your comment got me thinking many thoughts about that. Thank you so much for your message, it's truly the nicest thing! ❤️

1) Did Atlantis exist on Earth 2? I know Aquaman does, but he seems to have a different backstory there. Arion shouldn't exist over there, right? But does Atlantis exist? Do they have mermaids.

I think Atlantis exists on all Earths. There's definitely an E2 Atlantis after Flashpoint because that's where Queen Marella is from. As for before that, I'm assuming so. My lovely followers and mutuals may have more details. As for if Arion exists, I have no idea. I guess it depends. And technically the mermaid aspect is magic so there's no reason E2 shouldn't have mermaids

2) Arion is pre-sunk Atlantis? Did I get that right? I know he time travels and is immortal and a fucking weirdo, but he's from pre-sunk Atlantis? Were they human there? How did Atlantis start existing. Is that a thing we know?

Yes Arion is pre-sunk Atlantis but do to comic bullshit may show up in a sucken Atlantis from time to time. And Atlanteans were orginally humans. As for how it started exiting its a combo of aliens and gods and magic and depends on which retcon you happen to be reading. Overall it's not important. What is important is, not all Atlantean cities where once of the Surface.

3) What's with the greek mythology too. Like does Arion predate the dc greek pantheon? Does modern Atlantis worship Poseidon or are they just named after him? Does Superman's Ex Lori's city still have his trident after the crisis. Is Aquaman related to Poseidon? Is Arion related to Poseidon???

Poseidons was an ancient Greek city not horribly far away from Wonder Women's island, thus the Greek mythology. Arion can't predate that pantheon as it actually exists and the gods regularly fuck with Arthur for reasons. Each city has its own primary religion(s) with Poseidons having 4 main religions. So some of them do worship Poseidons and his son Triton. I'm pretty sure Arthur and thus Poseidons has the trident and is why Koryak (Arthur's eldest son) got banished. As for Arthur's relation to anyone the answer is mostly likely probably. His dad was and is slut and it runs in the family.

4) How does the Monarchy work? Is Aquaman in charge of all of Atlantis or just Poseidonis? If he has a son, is that son going to be king after him even though there are elections? Was Arion a king. Is Power Girl showing up like King Arthur of Avalons granddaughter in modern Britain. How would Atlantis react if she and Arthur had a child out of wedlock?

Every city has its own form of government with most being monarchical in some sense. Personally Hy-Brasil whole "kill the king and become the king but only if you marry the widowed queen" thing has always amused me. As for Poseidons monarchy that's a post in and of itself but typically it's supposed to passed through the bloodline (but I think there may have been an issue with Koryak ascending to the throne since he was a bastard, but also Vulko told him he was next in line so like. Whatever). I don't think it's passed by gender though so like if Andy, Eldoris, or Mareena were the eldest they'd become Queen. But the monarchy bs is changing constantly and confusingly. Arion was royalty at least (@blackmantagirl you may know?) I think. I don't think Atlantis particularly cared about Karen tbh. That wouldn't be incest but the family tree wouldn't have very many branches, but they reacted to Koryak mostly okay. Then again half the time they hate Arthur anyway so it may be an ordeal.

5) Can Aquaman do magic? I know Mera can and is from a different dimension, and I know YJ!Kaldur can, but can all Atlanteans do that? Can they do more than just water magic? I know they have telepathy and fish control, but could they summon a demon?

@garthofshayeris will be the first to tell you how Atlantean magic confuses me, but here's what I know off the top of my head. Arthur can't do magic despite his dad being a slut wizard, nor can his siblings Orm and Debbie. But Orm can use magical artifacts. Mera's hard water powers aren't necessarily magic but more a genetic thing from Xebel, Jackson (Kaldur's half-brother/ Kaldur's main E counterpart) has similar powers but also electricity. Young Justice has it's own magic system made up entirely for E16. The ability to speak to sealife is also less magic and more just a thing Arthur, Debbie, and Garth can do. Garth could summon a demon if he wanted, of that I have no doubts. Actually Garth is one of the most powerful magic users in the DC Universe and can do much cooler shit than control water (which is also p cool imo)

"Read brightly" diactivated the comment section in both their SM after getting criticism over featuring her and showing exactly what they think about her. most of the comments were people calling her out on using her "racist" titles or calling her a liar which is...meaningful. Her youtube reading has more dislikes than likes and never seen it before tbh..I only seen it with celebs that are cancelled. It can help her in a way because of the algorithm but disliking is disliking...Over a children's book!!! It happens again and again with every company that "hires her". Remember how even Oprah blocked the comment options even before the interview dropped? She can whine about an orginized campaigh against her forever but if this is the reaction she gets over a children book she'll never be able to set foot into politics or Dior or have another big interview again, nothing will change the fact she can't buy support or adoration or force people into buying the stuff she sells and as a result, she's hurting the company's image instead of helping them. nobody would want to take chances or touch her, not when she's irrelevant and off putting when it comes to public reaction. Also, who does a reading after months of the book being out!? It reminds me how netflix sent them to NY to get some content or else they'll end the contract, they probably told her to do a new push because her book doesn't sell. And I have a feeling she's pushing the victim card again because everything else failed and all the other cards got used up and nothing she does takes off, maybe she's also gearing up to the upcoming 'abusing of staff' issue so she strikes first. All i'm seeing is a failure after a failure... It's all very delicious. Do you think she is the one telling them always to block the comment option or it's always the companies that chose to do it?

These two are honestly so good at exposing themselves. In the same week that they tried to convince the world that just "83 twitter accounts" are responsible for all the "hate", she puts out a video that makes it blatantly obvious that the public's dislike of her goes far and wide.

The more she tries to censor people, the more it blows up in her face. In another life she would have made a great dictator.

10 Anti LO Asks

1. I wish Rachel hasn’t used the gods to create the comic but rather turned them into human OCs. The fact that they’re rich, immortal and attractive make the stakes so damn low we don’t even have anything to genuinely fret over narrative wise.

2. WAIT I HAVENT READ LORE OLYMPUS IN A WHILE BUT DID SHE REALLY MAKE APOLLO THE SUN GOD?! STRAIGHT UP IGNORING HELIOS THE ACTUAL SUN GOD?????? How could Rachel say she did research and still choose to incorporate one of the biggest misinformations about Greek Mythos.

Look I don’t want poor Helios to be seen in Lore Olympus style if he hasn’t yet, but that’s such a simple thing to get wrong.

From OP: Both of them are still sun gods, the main issue is that RS also made Leto a sun goddess for some reason.

3. im sorry but the only distinguishing factors between literal gods and humans is that the gods are neon colors and thats it is so dumb?? like what about demi gods? how about exceptional mortals? like how can anyone compare psyche to a goddess then if shes not neon colored? also theres a ton of myths where gods are easily able to blend in with humans without changing anything because they are supposed to look like them, so how can they do that if humans are normal skin tones but the rest are neon?

4. I honestly feel like a big part of why LO is so bad is it's just way, WAY too long. The first few episodes were fast paced and kept you interested, but once it really pocked up on popularity you can see Rachel just started stretching everything out and dragged it back to a snail's pace. I'm all for a slow burn, but that shouldn't for the readers. If it was this long and there were months/years of progress in story I would excuse it, not at most a month in all this time. It's exhausting to read.

5. ok but why do even the humans in lo look so wonky? idk i think her more early abstractions with human forms was really so much better than this more realistic but also more cartoony look, it just doesnt mesh well. sure its technically cleaner looking but it starts to show the many flaws in the art than the previous look didn't. in the early look you could excuse it as coherent stylization, in this current look it just looks like rachel and her team either are very lazy, cant draw, or both.

6. also the disney hercules movie 1) never claims its myth accurate but also 2) its still just a fun movie?? LO in comparison is a self righteous slog that thinks its reinventing the wheel and is more legitimate than the actual texts all while being so wrong its not even"myth fanfic", its just a completely different story with greek names slapped on it for marketing. disney also had the good sense to not make the whole story about a dark topic, meanwhile LO is milking R//PE for a creepy romance.

7. ngl im even surprised rachel would even call hades anything zeus related because she seems so vindictive against anyone who isnt hades/persephone/hera that i would have thought she would make a point to say zeus would rather be be called "light hades" or w/e.

8. Omfg I just realized Hestia and Athena are an incestuous couple. Hestia is Hera's sister and Athena is Hera's and Zeus' daughter. Hestia is literally dating her niece. So the only non-stright couple in LO is incest. I just... how do fail this fucking badly at represenation?

Also, bc I know someone is gonna say it: Yes, incest was pretty much par for the course in Greek mythology, but in LO Rachel seems to actively want to avoid that particular aspect (which is understandable). Zeus and Persephone were orginally biological niece and uncle as well, since Persephone was the daughter of either Zeus or Poseidon and Demeter, but in LO this is retconned into Demeter making Persephone herself without a father being involved, making HxP still sketchy but not blood-related at least.

The Hestia and Athena-situation seems like a comedic mistake RS made. She hastily threw together two same-gender characters to counteract the accusations of homophobia and straightwashing and it just... backfired in the most hilarious possible way.

From OP: Athena and Hestia aren’t technically related in LO but it’s still really odd that Demeter, Hera, and Hestia come from Metis but have no relation at all to her other than she created them. Like, you’d think even Metis’ power would connect them in someway but I guess not. The three even used sisters to refer to each other (although, it was only retconned once and left in the other time) so I still their (Athena and Hestia’s) relationship weird.

9. This isnt just an LO thing but it's ironic Rachel is in that group of WT creators who went to art school and yet have some of the most subpar art i've ever seen, meanwhile the self-taught creators who went to school for medicine, engineering, comms, etc all have some of the most beautiful art i've seen in a webcomic. Anyway LO stans have to stop using the "she went to art school" excuse since it'd pretty clear she's not the only example where art degree =/= good art.

10. ok now im a bit sus about about the LO stats and tbh every other original bc i just saw an original creator say the actual numbers (esp for popular series) are all overinflated by porn and spam bots and webtoons wont get rid of them to make it look like they have more engagement and market them as more successful than they let on💀getting real tumblr will ban boobs but not the n//zi blogs energy from that info ngl

You're gonna hate me but i kinda enjoyed tshoeh (i had to think about it lmao). I dont think the book is life-changing in any way and i didn't like a lot of things about it (like how obsessed and focused on Evelyn's boobs the book is, especially considering the author is straight i believe, and the whole why did she give this interview to this dumbass plot is not that great) but it was entertaining enough, i read it in one afternoon and i kinda cried at the end. At the very least if we compare it to other similar books, this one is original enough and at least has a wlw couple. Anyway at the end of the day it just goes to show how we need more lgbt novels cause this one is one of the better ones imo. Insert "i aint reading all that, im happy for u tho or sorry that happened" meme

no i’m not gonna hate you! i also found it entertaining enough and teared up a bit at the end. for me, the issue is partly personal ill admit that cough cough kaylors acting like it’s their bible and taylor ghost wrote it. but the main problem is that it’s .. objectively not well written? like taylor jenkins reid isn’t a good writer? i’ll give her this: she recognizes a story when she sees one & she would be well suited to be on a creative team for tv or film. but her actual writing is NOT GOOD. like at all. she tells you exactly what is happening and what to think and feel. she writes like an amateur fanfic writer. not a 4+ stars on good reads everyone shitting their pants to praise her level. and everyone going on and on about how amazing she is makes me feel like i’m on the outside of an inside joke.

her books are perfectly entertaining in the way a soap opera can be entertaining or those YA mystery novels you read as a kid are entertaining or decent fanfic about a couple you ship is entertaining. acting like it’s more than that is INSANE. it makes me think genuinely she buys her reviews or has extreme connections getting her name out there like this because no way surely not everyone reading these books and thinking they’re good???

daisy jones & the six is even worse than evelyn hugo. it’s literally just fleetwood mac and then ripped off almost famous. she is so bad at writing - like i called her out about the tell not show aspect of TSHOEH - that she had to make the entire book in the form of an interview because she has no idea how to write. you can’t convince me anyone read that book and got attached to the characters or thought she was actually doing something new and orginal??? how!??

the thing that makes me the most frustrated is that on paper.. these are two ideas i would absolutely eat the fuck up. closeted gay old hollywood actress has a secret wife? dysfunctional band enjoys the highs and lows of fame? love the concepts! her executions are just not praise worthy and especially not to the extent she is praised.

i’m not mad at people enjoying them. i’m frustrated with feeling CRAZY for hearing her hyped up 24/7 when she’s an objectively bad writer.

I noticed in Oblivio Marinette is not clumsy AT ALL! It got me thinking a lot about her clumsiness. I had always as Ladybug, she was not clumsy because the miraculous corrected it for her. But after noticing this apparently lack of trips and scuffs, I think that this is not the case.

I suspect that Marinette’s clumsiness stems NOT from an actual true issue(or at least not a BAD issue. Not an abnormal issue), but because this has become a part of her identity. Essentially it is a learned behavior. People have told her she is clumsy, therefore as Marinette, she is clumsy! But it’s not a true identity, it’s just who she believes she is! This belief is removed when her memory is wiped, so she doesn’t continue to use this behavior because she has no use for it. It is no longer apart of her identity because she is creating a new one. This is seen when she first becomes Ladybug as well in Orgins! She tells Tikki she can’t be LB because she is too clumsy and not a hero (because that is what she has be TOLD so that is what she believes she is). And when she first starts out she IS a little clumsy. But as she realizes she doesn’t have to follow the identity that she has been stuck in as Marinette, she becomes more confident and suddenly not so clumsy. Ladybug was a clean slate for her, just like Oblivio.

Now there are 2 scenes (there might be more, but I can’t recall more) where she shows a bit of clumsiness in Oblivio. One as Marinette and one as Ladybug. As Marinette she misjudges as she is jumping out of the vent and falls on Adrien (okay we all know the only reason this happens is because the writers are OBSESSED with her and Adrien falling on each other literally. 🤦🏼‍♀️ so unrealistic. How can they make Marinette SO SMALL yet somehow ALWAYS KNOCK ADRIEN DOWN. Sorry, rant for another time). This is clumsy, but notice how they easily get up and she doesn’t continue to be clumsy. In many cases as Marinette, when she is embarrassed or clumsy, she continues to be clumsy. Because she believes it’s her identity! But here she doesn’t have any learned behaviors or beliefs to make her be more clumsy so they just get up and move on. Boom. Done. Normal moment. Not excessive clumsiness. When she is Ladybug she trips over her yo-yo string. And this, I mean come on, there’s going to be some learning curve as a superhero, so there you go.

To further my argument, in Oblivio as she’s reading about the miraculous on her phone, she reads that the miraculous increases all “physically abilities.” Aka helps them jump and run better. And while clumsiness is a physical manifestation, it is NOT a physical issue. It stems from a lack of spacial awareness. Aka, not seeing that there’s a backpack on the stairs and tripping on it. Or misjudging where the ground is and loosing your footing. It’s all in the brain. So if she was TRUELY as clumsy as she is as Marinette, she would be that clumsy as Ladybug.

TLDR: Marinette isn’t really as clumsy as she thinks, she has just been labeled as clumsy and therefore believes this and is clumsy.

There’s a new negative Glassdoor review, can you post it? I can’t read it without Glassdoor demanding I add a salary or write a review :(

Here it is.

So I’m going to point the reviews aren’t as bad as they used to be. Most reviews are middle of the road, with some positive and negative ones sprinkled out. It shows while there has been some improvement ( as far as we know) there are still problems and we know this because of the stuff that happened with Torrian regarding RvB Zero and a former employee’s concern regarding her pay and you can look at both here.

Like everyone knows about the crunch and some are even sick of people bringing it up ( I won’t stop) but how many people know of these issues? How many people know of other things like how Mercury’s orginal VA wasn’t paid to voice him and that RT has or had a habit of putting people in multiple positions only to be paid for one?

Or how many people know that Mica wasn’t the only black woman who left because of company inaction?

At the end of the day people should’ve questioned more because I now wonder what else has been buried because people accepted their apology and moved on.

By the way I haven’t put anything in my GD account either, it would lock me out so I would delete my cookie date or use multiple tabs. I mostly use the app now and it hasn’t asked me to fill anything.

Walker: A Review No One Asked For

(No real spoilers, if you’ve seen the orginal Walker )

Jared’s role in Walker is a far cry from Sam Winchester, and he did an amazing job. Not once did I find myself thinking about his prior role. Walker is a traditional man’s man navigating the landscape of his wife’s death. The storyline has been brought into 2020/2021 bringing up today’s issue of including but not limited to excessive use of police force and illegal immigration.

I have read more than a few reviews implying that this Walker is not Norris Walkers. Well, no shit sherlock, it’s a new mothering fucking decade. If you are looking for the man to save the day and not dealing with the emotional loss of his wife, well just stop watching. This show is about family. Walker’s dad is a more traditional male role model, however, his wife does rule the home.

Walker’s mother talks about all of the issues she is seeing with his children and she doesn’t hold back. I have a feeling this show is going to make me cry more than a few times. However, seeing Walker’s female partner take ownership of her new role as a ranger and being the one responsible for catching the bad guy made my heart happy. She is a strong female character that’s not a hot mess. She’s in a relationship that seems healthy however there are issues with her family and she has had to make choices. I am super excited to see her character development. Also to learn more about Walker’s wife. Look I don’t love the wife dying but it’s just a huge part of the storyline it’s can’t go away. However, you can already see that she was not some helpless housewife who was killed for being in the wrong place. And no spoiler but what I found out was she was doing, cried a bit becuase is a show that America needs right now. Where we are both entertained and talking about other issues.

I am 100% a team Dean, I can relate to that I don’t know how to process emotion because I was a latch key kid and pretty much an adult once I could reach the doorknob. I didn’t have a younger sibling and there weren’t vampires or werewolves but everything else is fairly on point. I hope that everyone watching Walker can relate to the characters and learn that it’s okay to not be okay. To be blunter about that, I hope that men understand that it’s okay to not be okay.

Nightingale Circus

Summary - Adrien and Marinette's view of the weekend.

Chapter Eight - Family, Press, Texts

Marinette and her friends had a great weekend, after the show Adrien, Chloe, Kagami and Luka all got to stay behind to meet the performers although both Adrien and Chloe had to get permission off Miss Bustier which of course got Alya shouting at them which they ignored as they informed miss Bustier that their parents had already agreed for them to stay so she let them even if she looked like she was close to refusing, they had already run off following Mr Rivers the ringmaster around back so that they didn’t have to deal with the press.

“If you’re looking for Mari, she’s in our trailer,” said Red Sparrow now unmasked as Coraline Uccello, “Thank you” replied Kagami as she leads the group to the trailer. Opening it they could see that Marinette was staring at her phone with a blank look while sitting on her bed with Tiki who was busy eating cookies, “you ok there Mari” asked Adrien as the door closed and they sat either on her bed or Coraline, “She’s reading the news” answered Tiki, “What the hell” exclaimed Marinette making the group of friends jump except for Coraline who just raised an eyebrow.

“What is it?” asked Luka, “The press has already started to try and get into the bakery” as soon as she said that both Chloe and Adrien had their phones out and step out to go talk to the person that had each called. “What are they doing?” Marinette asked both Kagami and Luka shrugged, “That doesn’t matter right now, what’s important is how are you feeling?” asked Kagami, “Uhh..not sure, I mean I knew the press was going to go nuts but I hope it dies down soon or I’m worried someone might catch me as ladybug” responded Marinette with a frown, “I will not worry, you have not only us but I’m sure the circus will help with the issue” Luka replied calmly putting a hand on her shoulder as comfort.

“Damn right we will, I don’t think were could stop your uncle from hurting them, if he found out you were being harassed” snorted Coraline which made Marinette smile as both Chloe and Adrien came back in. “Gorilla has agreed to help protect your parents” Adrien stated with a grin, clearly glad that he had managed to persuade his father to let him do so, “And father has agreed to also give protection for your family by making sure the police scare them away,” Chloe said, “Thank you” replied Marinette hugging both of them, “now then are you going to introduce us to your circus family or not,” asked Kagami.

Everyone in the circus was glad to meet Marinette teammates while making sure to give pointers on different moves they could use on an Akuma which surprised all of them except Marinette who just laughed and said, “if they figured out I was Ladybug, it wasn’t going to be long before they figured you guys out”. After that, they all spent the weekend going to and from the circus site to help pack up, as Marinette said goodbye she was pulled into a group hug by the whole circus and was told to say in contact.

By the time Marinette was going to bed, she finally decided to check the texts she had got from her classmates, they had all seemed to realise how much Lila lied about, Alya going so far to purge her website from any mention of her and publicly stating in a video on how she just found out Lila was a lier and apologised for giving her audience false information.

The rest of the class were sending texts about how sorry they were and that they will try to do better but that wasn’t going to cut it for Marinette, I mean come on they had isolated from the class for months while still demanding food from the bakery for free when a school event was happening or asking for new outfits for free which she all but ignored which made them isolate her further so to hell with them if they think she will forgive them that easily.

The same thought process was happening with Adrien who was also getting texts from his classmates but he didn’t bother to read them instead watching the news reports about the big reveal and talking with Nathalie about how he could help Marinette’s from being hounded by the press which turned out to be the Circus making announcement that if the find out the press has been hounding Marinette, they are quite happy to sue the reporters for doing so along with both Chloe and Adrien’s family making a statement that they would do the same thing so by Monday it had quieted down.

Luckily Chloe and Adrien had made it before the class but sadly Marinette had overslept so was late. The class had arrived at the bell so they couldn’t talk to the group yet. Miss Bustier arrived look tired, she was followed by Lila who gave a cheery smile and took her seat next to Alya who along with the rest of the class gave her death glares.

Notes - Almost done. I'm glad that everyone has enjoyed this story so far and I hope you like this chapter.

Trigger warning: Slight swearing! Mentions of sex! Will be mentions of rape! Slight abuse! If you are sensitive to these things read at your own risk! Major Fred fluff!

Y/n was a muggle brought into the world of magic, at a very young age. She didn't know how to handle it. And with her older sister, her guardian being the only one who could take care of her, it proved to be difficult for her with her sister being the Defense Against The Dark Arts professor, and her having to live in the world of magic. She feels a little left out, seeing as both her sisters, her older and her younger, - her twin - are wizards and she is not. But that all disappears when she meets the one person who helped her realize not everything is about that. And it's not all its cracked up to be. Neville was there for her since she was young and they became the best of friends. However, as they got older they realized their feelings were more for each other than they even orginally thought. But what happens when Neville finally has the courage and another man tries to swoop in and take him from her?

Beginning Special Part 5. . .

Fred's P.O.V.

I knew how Y/n was getting and I didnt like it. I felt for her. I hurt for her. I want to beat the shit out of Neville. I know that dumbass feels for her, just like I do, but he wont tell her. All he tells her is that he has a crush on this girl, but he wont tell her who it is. Neville is supposed to be her best friend and he's basically keeping a secret from her. Way to keep the trust up Neville. If he truly does hurt her, and makes her want nothing to do with him and I have to pick up the pieces of what he broke - I cant promise I'll hold myself back from wanting to beat the hell out of him. Y/n held onto her empty glass staring into it. I knew she was drunk and I knew she wanted more. I wont let her do this to herself. She said nothing to me as I took the glass from her. I picked up the bottle of Fire Whiskey and brought it back to the kitchen, putting it away. I gently place the cups in the sink. Y/n had her hand on the side of her neck, entangling her fingers in her hair long beautiful dark brown hair (or y/h/c)

"Fred? -"

She sounded like she wanted to start crying.

"What is it hon?" I asked her as I walked back over to her.

I sat back down next to her.

"I want Neville," he sentence sounded slurred and she looked like she wanted to cry.

She actually did have tears in her eyes. I sighed as I looked at her. I moved a piece of hair from her face.

"I know sweetheart," I said to her softly not exactly knowing what else to say.

"What do I do about Neville?"

I looked directly into her beautiful bluish/green eyes (or y/e/c/).

"You can talk to him. - Maybe it'll help straighten things up,"

She had a few tears fall from her eyes.

"No!! - He likes someone else and I don't want to hear it again,"

"Maybe he does like you and he just didn't want to tell you, so he phrased it differently, because he was scared,"

She sighed as she looked at the floor. I jumped slightly as she put her hand on my knee. I knew where that would lead for me. Damn physical issues. She moved closer to me.

"Fred?"

"Yes?"

I tried acting casual, but I was having so many issues. Y/n took me by surprise as she smashed our lips together, kissing me passionately. I knew the kind of state she was in, and I would never take advantage of her while she's like this, but I had the urge to kiss her back. To show her the love I have for her. And that I could love her more than Neville ever could. I slipped my hands to behind her neck, pulling her closer. I knew she liked it as she hummed in satisfaction. I still wanted to distance myself. I would never let us, get any farther when she's like this. I felt her hand moving up my leg farther. I moved slightly from discomfort. Not from her or what she was doing. It was what it was causing. I continued to kiss her as her hand stayed on my inner thigh. I wanted her to. I wanted her more than anything, but I wont let it happen. That and despite what Neville has made her feel, I know she still loves him. And I want her to sort things out with him before she makes any major decisions like this. I breathed out softly as she stopped kissing me, resting her forehead on mine. She slowly slipped her hand more towards my front. I wanted to stop her, but my physical needs needed her more. I let her touch me.

"I want you Fred," Y/n said to me in the softest voice she could.

"Y/n, I dont wanna, -"

She had a few more tears slip from her eyes.

"Please Fred, - I need you," she pleaded.

"No, you need to rest," I told her.

She touched her lips to mine softly moving them. Her thumb gently moved in circles.

"Please,"

I said nothing. I want to say yes. I want her so bad. As she can physically tell, but I refuse to let it happen this way. Though I wanted to see how far she would actually get. I slightly nodded. In an instant she had our lips pressed together. She turned our kiss into passion. I let out a soft groan as she moved her leg over, straddling my lap. I let her move her hips down onto me. I wanted her more and more as the seconds passed on. I put both my hands on the sides of her neck, pressing my lips to hers harder. She hummed once more in satisfaction. I closed my eyes leaning my head back, as she moved her lips to my neck. I breathed out softly as she kissed the most sensitive part of my neck. She let her hands, move down my chest moving their way up my shirt. I wanted her so bad. But I cant. Not when she's like this. I wont. I knew I was gonna have to stop her soon. She pressed herself into me harder as she took off my shirt. I pulled myself back from her only slightly. She was trying to catch her breath from kissing me.

"You need some water," I said to her in a soft stern voice.

"I need you," she told me trying to be persistent.

"Water first and then me," I negotiated.

Of course I didnt mean it, but I'm trying to get her to settle herself. At most I'll do is snuggle her close to me as she sleeps. She still wanted to protest as she smashed her lips onto mine once more. I let myself kiss her as I stood up, while holding her. I laid her down on the couch. She reached out to me as I took my lips from hers, leaning back.

"Fred, no," she protested.

"Sweetheart, I'll be right back," I reassured.

I gave her a soft reassuring kiss. Honestly right now all I wish I could do, is go to Neville's apartment and kick his ass. He did this to her, just because he's too afraid to tell her what I did. I let my hand drag from hers as I walked to the kitchen. I sighed as I grabbed one of the regular glasses from the cupboard filling it with cold water. I brought it back to her, kneeling down on the floor in front of her.

"Here hon, drink this, - I promise you'll feel better," I said to her in the softest voice I could possibly have.

She sighed as she took the glass.

"And then I can have you?" She asked hopeful still not knowing what she was saying or what she actually wanted.

"Yes, then you can have me," I lied.

I hated lying to her. I never have before, but I cant hurt her anymore than she already is. I love her too much for that. I held onto her other hand as she started to take sips from her water. I was hoping she wouldn't remember what she wanted from me while she was like this. That way if it ever is me in the future, we can start fresh.

Almost an hour later. . .

I had taken the glass of water from her quite a few minutes ago. As I walked back from the kitchen I had found her snuggled with the blanket at the end of the couch, and she had fallen asleep. That's the sight I like to see. I just stood there for a moment staring at her as she slept. She really is the most beautiful person I've ever laid my eyes upon. I walked to the other end of the couch. I was as careful as I could be as I crawled onto the couch behind Y/n. She was sound asleep. There was no waking her up now. I put my arm around her, holding her as close to me as I could. Being as respectful as I could be. As she noticed me next to her, while still sleeping, she turned herself into me, snuggling herself into me. I had my head propped up with my elbow. I used my other hand, to trace a finger down her face softly.

"Dont worry Y/n, things will get better - I promise," I spoke to her.

She let a soft noise leave her as she slept. I wrapped both my arms around her, pulling her even closer, letting my eyes close. I wont let anything happen to her.

Neville's P.O.V.

I sighed as I stood before Fred's apartment door. I was nervous, so beyond nervous to tell Y/n how I felt about her. However, I know Adelina is right. Though the way she's going about this is a little unfair. Again I do agree with her. I have loved Y/n pretty much since we first met. I've always wished I could tell her, but I've always been too afraid. I was just afraid of rejection. Though I really wonder how its actually going to go, because of Adelina's reactions to things I said. I knocked on the door, only to get nervous as there was no response. I knocked again, only to get the same response. I could feel myself getting anxious. Seeing as Y/n was supposed to be here, and Fred usually never goes to bed before three. And with knowing that he likes her, my heart was racing at an uncomfortable pace. An idea crossed me. It wasn't the greatest idea, but I had to know. I took out my wand using the, "Alohomora," spell to unlock the door. I'll apologize to Fred later for breaking into his apartment. As I opened the door and looked at the couch, my heart sank and my stomach fell a thousand feet. There on his couch lay Y/n, asleep in Fred's arms. It looked as if they were as close as they could possibly get to each other, without actually being on top of one another. And to make things worse Fred had no shirt on. I could feel tears coming to my eyes as I looked at them. They were both sound asleep. I backed out of the apartment, softly closing the door. As I walked down the hall to leave, a few tears fell from my eyes. As I stood outside, I could feel anger rising towards Fred. In anger I blasted one of the trees, accidentally breaking one of the branches. Whoops. I walked off. Adelina was right. I was too late and I lost her to Fred.

The Next Morning. . .

Y/n's P.O.V.

I woke up, with my eyes in a blur, holding my head as it pounded. I sat up on the couch, almost with tears in my eyes. I scooched forward so my feet touched the floor. I knew I was at Fred's place. And I knew I came here late, but I dont remember much after our conversation about our friends.

"Oh, damn," I spoke out not even being able to handle my own voice.

"What's the matter hon?" Fred asked me as he kneeled down in front of me.

"I have a killer headache," I replied still holding my head.

"I know, -"

Fred moved my hands from my head. I forced myself to open my eyes, looking at him. I questioned why he wearing just his sweatpants and nothing else. My stomach dropped a thousand feet. Fred held out a glass of water to me and a couple of ibuprofen.

"Here take this and drink this," he said to me in such a caring voice it melted my heart.

I took the ibuprofen from his hand taking it, and drinking from the glass of nice cold water. Once I was a little more with it, and my surroundings, I set the cup down, awkwardly turning to look at Fred.

"So, - I'm not so sure I want to ask this, but - um - Did we - We didn't - You know -"

Fred seemed to know what I was trying to ask. He took my hand in a gentle soft gesture.

"No, Y/n, we did not have sex," Fred reassured in a calming voice.

I breathed out in relief as I looked away from him. I knew he was smiling.

"Oh thank God, - I'm sorry but that would've really messed things up,"

"I understand -"

I looked at him again.

"I couldn't let myself give in when you were like that. I would never take advantage of you like that,"

A soft smile passed me.

"Thank you Fred, -"

I locked our fingers together, placing my head on his shoulder. He gently placed a kiss to the top of my head.

"I love you so much Fred," I spoke to him.

"I love you too darling,"

I moved away from him.

I stood from the couch.

"Wait, -"

Fred stood from the couch.

"Let me take you to breakfast first, - Get you back to normal," Fred offered to me as he started to walk to the stand by the door.

"I am normal," I said to him.

"Not normal enough, -"

I pretended to be offended as I gently punched his arm. He chuckled.

"Let me take you to breakfast, - Please," he pleaded.

I sighed as I looked at him.

"There's no talking you out of this is there?" I asked him.

"Nope,"

He put his hand on my back as we walked out the door together. He took his keys before closing the door and locking it. I honestly wouldn't know what to do without him. I will be honest, I'm a little scared to find out the truth from Neville. But I have to know. I need to know what he meant, and if he really does like someone else. If he really does like someone else, then I guess my choice I pretty clear.

Sword Oratoria 1 Review

First off, please note that I have seen the anime for this before so I'm coming into the light novel with some pre-established opinions of the story and characters.

The original Danmachi isn’t the type of thing that I would usually like - the premise just isn’t the type of thing that I would usually go for. Sword Oratoria, on the other hand feels like it has a premise that was crafted specifically for my enjoyment. I mean, an action adventure story with an interesting setting and a mostly female cast that’s not a romance, harem or slice of life story? Sign me the fuck up. And it didn’t disappoint. It was a lot of fun and had a very interesting plot with some great characters. I really look forward to seeing the story and characters develop from here.

Story:

Sword Oratoria has most of the same issues as the main series which includes the occasional cringey moment. For example, Loki’s habit of fondling the girls’ boobs without their consent and Tiona’s breast envy. They’re not big moments but I can’t help but cringe when I see them. They’re so small that I’m able to ignore them for the most part but they’re still there and they’re still annoying.

The first thing that I noticed about Sword Oratoria was how beginner unfriendly it is. It assumes that you've read the main series so most of the explanations of the setting range from brief to non-existent. While this does make the series far less accessible, it also makes it clear that the Loki Familia is very experienced and gives them an entirely different impression to the Hestia Familia. It works really well to give Sword Oratoria a completely different feel to the main series.

This volume is very fun! It had an amazing climax scene and some really interesting character dynamics that made the volume a joy to read. I’m so curious about the mosters and I’m excited to see what’s going on there.

Characters:

I love Lefiya so much! I love how she's both very similar to Bell - in her admiration for Ais and her desire to get as strong as her - while also being completely different in that she has her own personality and struggles and her own methods to deal with them. Admittedly, a lot of my love for Lefiya is due to how the anime handled her but she’s still really interesting here.

The biggest surprise for me this volume was Tiona and Tione. They didn't stand out to me at all in the anime but the light novel does a far better job at giving them distinct personalities.Tione’s a natural leader and she takes charge of any situation the team finds themselves in. Tiona is actually quite perceptive of others emotions and it’s clear that she cares for her comrades despite her brash personality. Both of them are also brutal in battle and they’re really fun characters who I hope to see get more development.

But what I really love about Sword Oratoria is what it does with Ais. In the main series, she's more of a symbol of the goal that Bell wants to reach rather than a proper character. She starts to develop more of a personality as Bell gets to know her but we still learn far more about her in one volume in SO than we did in 4 volumes of Danmachi. Instead, Bell becomes a symbol of who Ais used to be and how far she's come. While the story humanizes Ais, it mystifies Bell and that’s really interesting to me. She’s an incredibly flawed character despite how she appears and I look forward to seeing more of those flaws.

But what would Sword Oratoria be without the rest of the Loki Familia? They’re all fantastic with their own distinct personalities. Even characters like Raul have their moments.

Adaptation Notes:

The anime is 12 episodes long and this volume was adapted into 3 episodes. The most immediately noticeable difference between the light novel and the anime is the change of POV. In the light novel, Ais is THE protagonist and every event is told from her POV. The anime, however, starts from Lefiya’s POV and occasionally switches to Ais if the scene requires it. In general, Lefiya is a far more fleshed out character in the anime but it comes at the sacrifice of some other characters - namely, Tiona and Tione. It also has the side-effect of having Lefiya come off as a far less experienced adventurer. Ais and Lefiya’s realtionship is central in the anime in a way that it isn’t yet in the light novel. I acutally really like these changes as it makes Lefiya an even more interesting character even if it means that other characters get the short end of the stick. There are things that I like about the light novel and there are things that I like about the anime. I don’t really prefer one over the other and I think both are worth experiencing.

The manga is illustrated by Takashi Yagi and is ongoing with 14 volumes currently released in Japan. The manga is a lot of fun with some fantastic visual gags. The art can be a bit too cutesy at times and Ais comes across as a very different character. It feels completely different to the light novel and anime and has plenty of orginal scenes to flesh out the characters. I don’t like this iteration of the story as much as the others but it has an undeniable charm to it and I look forward to reading more. Also, it gets some credit for being the only version (that I know of) to actually show what Ais would look like in Elf-style clothes.

Next up will be Danmachi 5!
