So my dilemma had also to do a bit with the fact that Ashley's just gone after RE4, like something's been taken away from you that you'll never get back but enjoyed and savoured it all the while it lasted. But again, i also want Leon to be happy with other people that are quite significant to him so i don't feel like I'm dwelling on a single thread only without feeling bad about a tragic love that never was. That's what sold me on Leon and Ash in the first place, i just wanted him to at least once have a good influence in his life. Someone that genuinely cares about him and his wellbeing. But ultimately i don't want that to just end up on Ashley's character.

I think we should have a turn of phrase for "I'm not in the right, but I AM annoyed with this situation, so I just need to go bitch to a friend about this before I suck it up and go do the right thing" because more and more I'm finding this is a critical element of functional adulthood.

Roisia in her original Divinity: Original Sin build was a witch and witchcraft spells are a combination of D&D's Necromancy + Enchantment schools. gale's mossy beard bug fix

if you have a problem with gale's beard looking mossy in the game (which is a known bug since at least patch 3 or 4), you can do the following to resolve it:

go to your nvidia control panel or your graphic card equivalent

go to manage 3d settings

set the anisotropic filtering to x16

Okay, so first of all Dan would like to say it’s not his fault. Ellie was the one to bring some unknown object into the speeder and Jazz was the one driving. Or had Sam been driving- didn’t matter! It wasn’t his fault, he wasn’t the one shooting at them, he wasn’t the one to break whatever, he was not the one to open a stupid portal, and so it wasn’t his fault! 

So why is he now like, five years old, and why is the speeder crashed in some sort of corn field. Why is everyone- except for Jazz whose now like six- also like three at most?! And- oh fuck the door just opened and… okay that’s a kid. Like, nine at most. 

A kid and an adult, who he hadn’t noticed at first so again, it’s not his fault if he hissed at them and tried to hide his not-siblings behind him. It’s also not fair they’re apparently stuck to ghost speak for who knows how long, but at least they can understand the people.

Resident Evil is a series that sells in the multi millions.

Two thousand people on the internet are a drop in the bucket -- especially when you consider that not all of those people actually buy and play the games (they just watch them instead).

If you removed the aeon cult from RE's sales, Capcom wouldn't feel their loss. That's why we keep getting things like Degeneration and Infinite Darkness and Vendetta and Death Island and the soon to be Operation Javier game.

People like Leon. They put up moneybucks for Leon. And they put up that money regardless of whether Ada's with him or not. This is also why we haven't seen Ada in new RE media since RE6 -- one of the biggest criticisms of that game was how Leon was characterized with regards to Ada, and Capcom knows they can't fuck up Leon, or they lose that money from his fans.

And their solution has been to remove Ada from him. And Vendetta, ID, and DI were commercial successes. And RE2make and RE4make were commercial and critical successes.

Capcom does just fine without the A part of aeon.

okay i know they went to university basically never because plot, but i'm forever amused by the idea of strangers seeing these two together and being baffled/wildly wrong about them

There’s a pretty common ASL brothers headcanon that Sabo teaches his brothers things like reading and writing among other things and I do think this is true to a degree. Like of course the bandits taught Ace the basics but you know little Ace and his whole “raaaa don’t tell me what to do. If I stay out of the house I can’t be a bother to you” mindset. And I certainly think Makino and the Mayor TRIED to teach Luffy but he only has a grip on bare basics. So Sabo had to teach more complicated things like grammar, multiplication, division and other things.

And honestly I could see him being a pretty good teacher. He knows how his brothers brains work and how to phrase questions for them so that they would understand. And considering Ace and Sabo had known each other for years by this point I could imagine Ace is use to Sabo being a teacher.

But Sabo as Luffy’s teacher is a little different. Because Sabo watches Luffy struggle with so many things he did when he was little. Phonetic spelling, contractions, fractions even simple things like buttoning up his own shirt are hard for Luffy. And while Ace is quick to call him stupid because it’s easy don’t be a baby. Sabo is patient with him because his own parents never were. He buttons Luffy’s shirts in the winter when he struggles, he sounds out store signs for him and break down maths questions to the point of rocks for Luffy to count. While I doubt Luffy was ever fond of class time, he was almost always met with patience helping him to learn

When Sabo left, Ace would not coddle him the same Sabo did even if he tried to and that Winter after Sabo’s death Luffy learned to button his own shirt and was so proud. He chose to leave Dawn in a button up vest as if to prove to Sabo he was grown enough to survive on his own and he didn’t need to worry.
