I still believe in Luz and Hunter being siblings. To me, that meaningful moment in Thanks to Them really cemented it. There really doesn’t have to be any official adoption papers involved, he always has a place in the Noceda household and he and Luz just have a special connection, no matter how you swing it.
I am still a little perturbed that there was no interaction between Luz and Hunter during the epilogue. I try not to be too salty because I realize they had limited time, but it does irritate me that Amity, Gus, and Willow all had lines toward Luz but Hunter got nothing. Perhaps Zeno didn’t have a lot of time to do lines or something, I know that can happen. Or more likely, it WAS just time constraints.
It just almost feels bad that they had that whole big scene of Luz calling him family and then Hunter becoming wracked with sobs of happiness over it, only for nothing solid to happen with it for the rest of the series. I mean, it’s enough, but also just not enough. It seems like they could have at least done a Luz and Hunter hug at some point in the epilogue, I would have loved that!
(Also I’m fine with the idea of Hunter having multiple parental/mentor/guardian figures in his life without any official adoption papers, so please don’t @ me. There absolutely doesn’t need to be official paper work for found family to be meaningful! <3 )

Why I'm no longer using the label non sam aro
I don't really talk abt my label usage/personal stuff a lot but I wanted to shed some light on actual aro experiences being out irl. I feel like tumblr is often an echo chamber of aro acceptance and it's easy to forget not everyone irl understands the community as well as people online.
I've used the label non sam aro for a while, and aromantic for even longer. I did briefly identify as ace but did not come out to anyone in my life/let them know I was using that label, and soon found out that I'm not ace.
Recently, people have been assuming or erasing parts of my identity. From adding ace to the aro, or completely ignoring my aromanticism and just calling me ace. it's uncomfortable to be forced into a box, let alone one that doesn't fit you at all. I've corrected people before but every time it's a fruitless effort
In order to avoid this, I'm now using the label aromantic bisexual. I like the label bi, I feel like it's a good descriptor of me and I have used it in the past. I feel like, when I'm not providing a sexuality, people take it upon themselves to fill that gap with the term asexual despite me having never mentioned it before.
I think a part of it is people not liking to think about sexual attraction without any romantic. in order to 'justify' my aromanticism, they feel like I have to be ace.
In calling myself bi, I'm hoping that people will have no choice to avoid the idea of another part of my identity. If I provide a label completely separate to the one they're putting on me, they'll have to choose the one I chose. Even if people then erase my aromanticism, at least they'll be calling me bisexual, a label that I chose myself.
TLDR: I'm no longer calling myself non sam aro, and am instead calling myself aromantic bisexual, in the hopes that people irl stop forcing the asexual label on to me.

K, y’all. Can we talk about the abandonment issues Uzi may have?
(The info I’m about to share is just my thoughts on all this. I could be right on some parts, and I could be wrong. Again, I’m just sharing what I think based on stuff we’ve seen from the series. Anyways.)
What inspired me to make this was this very moment right here.
Tumblr media
“Are you like, gonna leave me?”
You can tell by her voice that she was scared. Scared that the only friend she’s ever had, the only friend that she’s made her whole life was going to leave her, and it certainly didn’t help that N and V got along well with the other students. Doing some activities together, having fun, playing around and stuff.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
I think seeing this, this was the starting point of that fear in this episode. (I’m a little certain that in general, this may go back as early as the first episode, but I’ll talk about that in a bit.)
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Here’s that fear she shows after investigating a little bit in the cabin, watching her closest friend get along and interacting with her classmates, despite having been a literal killing machine. And to add salt to the wound, he did so in such a short time. Something that she herself has never really accomplished the whole time she’s been in school.
Some jealousy may also be shown because of this, as she was talking to V, who was also doing well interacting with her classmates.
Tumblr media
“Just.. so glad you guys fit right in. Suuuper cool.”
As we all know, Uzi certainly isn’t the most popular girl in school (which btw… relatable imo). In fact, Rebecca had said that she was “super unpopular” when she (well, the top half of her anyways, hehe) reunited with a few drones, whom I’m assuming are her friends.
Uzi doesn’t fit in. She’s like an outcast to her classmates. The “freak” of the bunch. She stands out from the rest of them.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
“… You freak us out.”
“But mostly bite me!”
(I’m sorry, I wanted to include that second part here, whether it was relevant or not pfbt. Anyways.)
And it’s not just her classmates that practically outcasted her. Hell, her own father left her to be murdered by the same kind of drone that took away his wife (well, technically, the same kind of drone that struck her with nanite acid, leading to him putting her out of her misery, according to himself from the pilot, but anyways). Now, he may have been too terrified to take action and save his own daughter, possibly reliving the trauma of what happened to Nori. He probably couldn’t fathom having to do the same thing he did to his wife to Uzi. But it still does not justify leaving her, his own daughter, for dead. That is a really shitty dad move there, Khan.
(Or I could be overthinking on that part, and Khan could just be a really shitty father, but anyways)
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
The way Uzi may have taken it, was that he prioritized his precious doors over her. Having put up more doors to keep himself, and everyone else in the bunker, safe from drones like N. She wasn’t important enough to be saved at the moment she needed him most. Her father- the one who’s supposed to have her back, no matter what happened, the one who’s supposed to protect her whenever things go from bad to worse- had left her to be killed by a murder drone. (Possibly, I’m just spitballin here)
Once this happened, Uzi now has no one she can really trust to stick with her, no one she can rely on for support. She has no friends, barely has family; her father isn’t much like a father to her at all, let’s be honest.
(I would say Thad is the only one she kinda had, but if I remember correctly, they barely knew each other to be considered close friends in the pilot. The only reason Thad knew Uzi (or knew of Uzi) was because she’s Khan’s daughter. That was it.)
(Another thing I wanna add is how neglectful as a father Khan has been, even before the pilot. Hell, the posters that we see can speak volumes of how their relationship is. Not to mention he’s never really spent much (if any) quality time with her, too busy focusing on his obsession with doors.)
Tumblr media Tumblr media
(One more thing to add: remember when Uzi told Thad one of the reasons she made her sick as hell railgun was to earn her father’s respect? …That’s just another point I wanna make about the infamous Doorman and how well he’s raised his daughter.) :)
So yeah, Uzi never really had anyone close to her in her life, meaning that she didn’t have anyone to trust, either.
Until this goober shows up.
Tumblr media
(Or more like, he was about to kill her until she blew his head off, but that’s not the point.)
Of course, we all know they didn’t become best friends right away. Because he’s a disassembly drone, and she’s a worker drone, and… yeah.
If it wasn’t for Khan backing away from the fight and closing the door on Uzi, Uzi probably would’ve been dead right then and there. N probably would’ve killed her and everyone else without much of a second thought. However!
Tumblr media
Considering how he told Uzi about V and J, he didn’t have the best relationship with either of them. (his crush on V seemed one-sided, at least in that flashback where V’s character was introduced? And J just straight up insulting him while stepping on him, and talking about how she’d kill him if she were allowed to.) He didn’t seem to have anyone to consider a friend either, at least mutually. For the longest time, it was just N, V, and J, doing their jobs, working together on killing the worker drones and such.
Then, what Uzi said to him about how the company treats the drones had created some doubts. N never questioned JCJenson and their motives until Uzi came along. And because of that, he almost died via a virus put in by J.
Then, after Uzi saves him from dying, and after they both stop V and J from killing the worker drones, N still stood by her side. N has never given her a reason not to trust him after that. He’s been with her the whole time after Uzi banished herself, and he’s never left her like the other drones have.
I’m thinking, after Uzi had banished herself from the colony, N could have left her on her own, he could’ve refused to let her go with him and V back to the landing pod, but he didn’t. (Not only because Uzi had encouraged him to look at the bigger picture, so to speak, but it also would’ve been out of character for N of all people (or robots in this case lol) to just deny her of joining the squad. He’s such a goddamn softy, let’s be real here.)
(Also, I wanna point out that from N’s perspective, she was the one who encouraged him to become an “angsty, rebellious disassembly drone” in the first place. If it wasn’t for her, he would never even question why they’re killing worker drones to begin with (other than to consume the oil for survival, of course). If it wasn’t for her, he’d still be out murdering. She was the one who respected him more than V or J ever did combined. (Well, in V’s case, this would be after her memories became messed up anyways. She did seem to like him when they were worker drones themselves.))
So yeah, this whole time, N has been the only one Uzi had ever really had throughout the series. N has been the only one that didn’t treat her like a freak, nor had insulted or threatened her in any way (lookin at you, V!). And most importantly, he was the only one that never left her at all. He stood by her side, he had her back, and she had his, and they stuck together, especially through the scary stuff.
So going back to episode 4, that was the first time since they’ve met that they were really separated. And the one time they weren’t with each other, Uzi had taken her solver form for the first time, and had killed her own classmates as a result.
Tumblr media
Had N been with her while she was investigating stuff, chances of Uzi taking her solver form happening probably would’ve been really low.
Hell, this whole thing probably happened because she was alone, because nobody was with her, and she didn’t want to be left alone again, and she was scared that she was going to be left alone again after seeing N interact with the other students!
TLDR: Uzi probably has abandonment issues, and was scared the only friend she has was going to leave her like everyone else had in her life.
I wanted to make a long rant about this because it’s been on my mind off and on for a while, especially after hearing Uzi’s voice when she asks N if he’s going to leave her (god that really hurts!), and as sucky as I am with words, I wanted to try anyways. Hope y’all enjoyed. 😁😅 (and now to end this on a lil lighter note, here’s an image of a robot huggy)

One of the things that still hurts me deeply about hair removal culture is the loss of innocence. I was sitting in a shopping centre today having a drink and I saw this little girl, maybe around 8 or 9 with her mum and older sister, I think Turkish, and she had this glitzy little tank top on, probably dressing up for he last day of school since it's school holidays now. She had visible dark hair up to her shoulders and on her lower back and she was running around playing with her sister without a care in the world, just looking so happy and free and I felt a pang in my heart, I was both so happy and so sad for her. I thought about the last time I was unaware of my body hair or of my body at all, and I can't even remember it. I remember being 7 or 8 and messing around with the sink when washing my paintbrushes at school and one of the kids pointed out how dark the hair on my arms was when it got wet. And since then I couldn't stop noticing it and how much darker and more visible it was than everyone elses, even the boys, especially whenever I had to put on a tshirt for P.E. or a dress in the summer. And I remember going home one day and trying to cut all my arm hair off with a pair of craft scissors and my mum found out and was so angry because she thought that I since cut the hair it was going to grow back even thicker and darker and that I was going to look like a freak (her exact words - thanks mum). So she started waxing my 8 year old arms with hot wax even though it burnt my skin. Then when I was 10 she started waxing my legs. Then my underarms, then my bikini line, and when I was 17 she tried to persuade me to get a brazilian wax.
The world is just so messed up for little girls, it's like no one cares that you're a child, you're a female first so you have to fit the standard of beauty from childhood at whatever cost. It's like a curse, as soon as you become aware of some new 'flaw' you can't unsee it or stop thinking about it and you're expected to 'fix' it. And it's getting even worse with the rise of even more ridiculous beauty standards and procedures and social media and now we're seeing 14 year olds with anti aging routines. I genuinely feel like the destruction of innocence as a girl is such a scarring experience, you stop being a relatively carefree and happy child who is unaware of the expectations of beauty and start having to become a 'girl'

Too many underdeveloped characters in jjk
I believe that since the begining of the culling games the cast has been expanding it's characters but gege seems like he can't handle all of them at once so he continually sidelines or kills characters that shouldn't be killed of or should of had more development before dying in my opinion.
I don't necessarily think that there are too many characters but there are too many of the same type of characters which just makes their stories somewhat repetitive and instead of them all having a unique message we are just getting the same character in a different font.
Theres a wide cast but a lot are sidelined or don't get the chance to properly develop before being killed of. For example there are characters that shouldnt of died like Yuki tsumoko or characters that should of came back to the plot or we should of gotten more closure on like nobara and Todo.
I think due to gege just introducing characters and sidelining/ almost ignoring the existence of other characters it makes the series feel rushed and makes it seem like bad writing.
Inumaki, kirarka, panda and the Kyoto kids should of all gotten more of their own character development as they all seem to be heavily lacking it in the series. Nobara should of came back. Yuki tsumoko and kenjaku shouldn't of been killed off. Majority of the female cast should of gotten more focus and attention on them.
Personally all these characters didn't reach their full potential because gege never really explored them in depth or gave them satisfying character conclusions.

thoughts on asexual will?
Hooooo boy okay let's get into it.
I know this wasn’t your intention, sweet anon, but you just opened a whole can of worms that I’ve been sitting on for awhile.
I wanna start by saying that I'm not against any asexuality hcs, nor do I think that Will being asexual in the show would be a bad thing, but I do think that people who read Will as canonically asexual may be ignoring what is actually happening in the text and is erasing his sexuality.
I was on twitter when season 3 dropped, and I remember it being popular opinion that Will was asexual despite all the of the incredibly clear queer coding that was going on with him. “It’s not my fault you don’t like girls” like come ON! My 70 year old dad knew what that meant! But he’s not a repressed gay! He's asexual! He doesn't like anyone!
Could Will be asexual and still in love with Mike? Absolutely! But that isn't what's happening in the show! Will isn't portrayed as sexless because he's asexual, Will is portrayed as sexless because he's a gay guy at a time when gay sex was especially vilified and demonized. No one says “AIDS” outright in the show, but there are still clear indicators that this is what’s happening in the text. It was assumed that Will was kidnapped and killed (and possibly raped, based on Troy’s line about “another queer”) because he was gay when he was just twelve years old, and this is reiterated a couple times in season one. At the top of season four Eddie is reading a magazine article that links sodomy with Satanism and violence.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
I’ll just say it— there are certain people that would rather Will be asexual than gay because they view homosexual desire as a bad thing. There seems to be this rise of conservatism online in regards to queer sex, including amongst young queer people. “No kink at pride” and “No sex in movies” are all popular opinions that I’ve seen in queer spaces on twitter.
I remember when Heartstopper came out there was this tweet that went around, where the op essentially said he was glad that there was gay rep that was “wholesome” and “nonsexual.” Does there need to be sex in Heartstopper, no! There never needs to be sex in queer media, especially ones where the actors are young! But it’s these opinions, the ones that put sexless queer rep as superior to queer rep with sex that snowballs and begins to vilify queerness as a whole. Queer rep shouldn’t have to purify itself and become palatable to conservatives in order to be valid.
I understand why queer people hold this opinion of themselves because I was also a gay teenager, and the reason is internalized homophobia. With right wing media ramping up their homophobia, it’s hard not to let their messaging crawl into your brain. especially when your peers start to say something similar. Queer teenagers are constantly being told that their natural sexual desires are harmful and they start to believe it themselves. I know, I’ve been there.
To reiterate, I don’t think that all people who hc Will as asexual hold the opinions of all the stuff I talked about above, I also don’t want to make it seem like I’m putting down ace rep either! I wanted to bring all of that up because it is still a problem and very much happening. Like I said before, Will being asexual wouldn’t be a bad thing if it was the case, but that isn’t what’s happening in the show. Will is TEXTUALLY a HOMOSEXUAL!! HE LIKES MEN!!
I always need to clarify with these types of post, but no I don’t want to see an explicit sex scene with Will. HOWEVER, I do think that the sexuality part of his sexuality is something that can and should be explored in a mature and tasteful way. We know that season 5 is going to be his “coming of age” story, and I believe that his sexuality is going to be a big part of that, and it’s already part of the text.

Rotating Vee and Hunter’s lost relationship dynamic that we were totally robbed of in my head and. Just having thoughts.
So in regards to the basilisk thing, I personally don’t think Hunter actually knew directly about the project. I know that the Golden Guard was Belos’s right hand, but Belos still kept many secrets from Hunter, and I cannot see any good reason why he would have let Hunter in on that project. He only let Hunter in on things on a need to manipulate basis, and this doesn’t seem like one.
Not to mention, Hunter as the Golden Guard was not shown in any of Vee’s flashbacks when she told Luz of her origins. We see Warden Wrath and regular coven scouts, as well as Belos himself. And yeah, you could argue, maybe Hunter was just a coven scout at the time and was one of the scouts with Wrath, but honestly? I don’t think so. If the creators had wanted us to make that connection, they would have just straight up shown the Golden Guard standing there or made sure his hair noodle was sticking out of a coven mask like in COTH.
If anything, I could only see Belos using Hunter to lead the search to try and find the escaped basilisks, without disclosing any other information about them other than just, find them and bring them back. And Hunter would of course obey. But even this thought might be wrong, given that when we see the basilisks hiding from the coven, we see only Belos himself with some elite scouts(the cone mask shape seems to be a higher rank?) seemingly out looking for them.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
I’m so sad we got robbed of the plot with Vee being uncomfortable with Hunter around the house because of his association with the Emperor’s Coven. I’m assuming she would have just found out at some point that he was with them, that he was the Golden Guard. And I absolutely still understand her being uncomfortable with him just because of the association itself, even if he wasn’t directly involved. (Or perhaps she could potentially recognize his voice from when Belos sent the Golden Guard out to round up the basilisks for him.)
And I am so sad that we missed the development of them working through this uncomfortableness and eventually becoming good friends, maybe even feeling a special kinship because of both being created and used. I think Vee would, with TIME and talking, absolutely sympathize and understand how Hunter felt, and he her, because they both were created artificially and used by Belos.
GOD I love them. Vee’s little “Hang in there, Hunter!” just hits so much more knowing there was supposed to be a whole little plot there.
(Note that this is just my thoughts, Hunter COULD have very well been involved directly, but to me it just doesn’t seem to be the case? I could see it far more likely that if anything Belos sent him out after them, but did not directly involve him in their creation. Either way Vee has more than enough reason to be skeptical of/dislike/hate him at first, that’s for sure.) (Warden Wrath seems to have been the head of the operation, as an interesting fact. Not really relevant, just interesting.)

Sorry to be asking this randomly, but I’ve literally never watched any of the DSMP so I’d always wondered about the backstory on Foolish’s builds not really being utilized there? I’ve found it super cute how everyone on the QSMP seems to appreciate his builds, so was curious about that contrast between the servers
Well, to be fair, SOME of his builds were utilized. The first time, it was when a statue of his got exploded for lore. Then he did a bit of lore on his pyramide once. The city Quackity commissioned from him (Las Nevadas) was the most utilized one.
The huge ass mansion that Tubbo and Ranboo commissioned him was never utilized, nor was it ever even lived in. Then, the kingdom Karl commissioned him (Kinoko Kingdom) was also underutilized (as far as I know anyway). He spent a lot of time on those big builds, but they were never really... idk, gave much care for it? I don't know, it's hard to explain.
The DSMP members appreciated Foolish's builds. They were amazed, that's for sure. But it just frustrated me how they kept on commissioning him to build these things for them only for it all to be put to waste.
The most contrasting thing I've noticed (and loved) between DSMP and QSMP is the fact that the QSMP members help Foosh with his builds unprompted. When he was building the dragon, Charlie gave him some deepslate and Vegetta gave him the tools he would most likely need (idk about the others since I wasn't really there when he was building it). Then when he was making the tower BBH helped him find quarts and made him some elevators. And now that he's building the castle, Cellbit is helping him find blocks and decorate the interior.
Also, the fact that the QSMP members actively seek out Foolish to complement him on his builds warms my heart. The DSMP members showed their appreciation, yeah, but like, it always felt like a one-time thing? It's like, "Oh! A big build, that's awesome! Great job!" But in QSMP, it's like "HOLY SHIT THAT'S AWESOME. YOU'RE AWESOME. I RESPECT YOU SO MUCH. YOU'RE AMAZING."
Not hating on DSMP members, though, by the time Foosh got added, the server was already in ruins. It was every man for himself then, and Foolish was the new guy. But he started as one of the first members of QSMP, so he made a lot more friends than he did basck in DSMP.

Ppl get so pissed that botw and totk's music isn't "iconic" enough like the older games, but like
*grabbing you*
Look me dead in the eye and tell me you want to hear the exact same 1 to 3 minute loop of notes over and over and over for several hours while you're trying to do literally anything at all.
Like- completionists, you're going to all the shrines [120 in botw, 152 in totk], collecting all the korok seeds [900 in botw, 1000 in totk], doing side quests, finishing your hyrule compendium and so on. That takes a long ass time, do you really want to hear a song you might not even like for a minimum of 190 hours?
Botw and Totk are very audio focused games in terms of gameplay anyway. The devs put a lot of effort into the sound design of the game. How are you supposed to feel like you're sneaking through a dangerous area when you have a constant tune playing in your ears 24/7.
Besides, with how sparse the main overworld music is, it makes the parts of the game that have actual songs in it count so much more. Instead of having constant noise and 1 or 2 songs that stand out, now you have more impact because the music kicks in when its important for it to be there.
Ik people were probably gonna hate the botw/totk ost if it was like the older games anyway because of those points. So it's a double-edged sword, but the way the ost is now? It's supposed to be like that. It fits the format, the sound design, and the length of the game. Which was the point.

It is so so hard and sad to have a conversation with people who wont or can’t confront their anti–female body hair bias/socialisation esp re cleanliness. I feel like I might actually scream if I have to hear “but it just FEELS cleaner/I just FEEL dirty with body hair” one more time. I know we’re not supposed to police people’s decisions especially regarding their body but tbh statements like that shame women who DO have body hair whether they’re intended to or not.
You’re admitting you believe there is an inherent dirtiness to WOMEN’S body hair specifically. Even if you believe you’re talking about your own feelings, these assumptions don’t exist in a bubble. And quite frankly its so bizarre to me how many women will saying this whilst sleeping with their boyfriend who may or may not wipe themselves after they urinate, wash their hands regularly, have flakes of shit in their butt crack hair etc. Men sweat more too, so shouldn’t it be even more vital that they shave their body hair to “feel clean”?? But no, its just assumed their hair is the norm, in fact people find it weird when men shave.
I truly believe it’s because a lot of people believe women’s bodies have an inherent dirtiness, and have a severe lack of understanding of how women’s bodies (including their own) actually work and so have a lot of shame towards their body. This girl was saying to me how she just feels ‘cleaner’ with no pubic hair and I didn’t want to argue with her or anything, I was just trying to understand what the logic is and in my head I’m thinking - i know why. You think its gross because its hair on a vulva and therefore must be gross because vulvas are gross because women’s bodies and their functions are gross (obviously this isn’t what I actually believe, but I believe a lot of people are encouraged to feel this way).
I said to her, is the hair on your head gross then? Because it gets exposed to more pollution, dirt, germs, etc, so wouldn’t it “feel cleaner” to shave it? And she was like “nooo i could never!!” In fact women are encouraged to grow it as long as possible and even shamed for cutting it short let alone shaving it! I shower every day including washing my body and pubic hair, but I only wash my hair three times a week and most women I know do the same. So what is the logic there? There is none because this thought pattern is so stupid. How is my freshly washed body hair and soft skin any dirtier than shaved skin with ingrown hairs, whiteheads, and shaving cuts?
Anyway, there is no real point here, just to say that when you look at the structure of so many of the beauty standards enforced on women they really are so dumb and misogynistic. I honestly pity women who feel this way but it’s agonising as a hairy woman to constantly feel like you have to defend your hygiene, especially to people who seem to make up hygiene standards on the spot lol.

I love your comments on the way female characters are pushed or fridged in JJK. Cause outside of maybe Mai, and kind of Utahaime we have had little development or spotlight of the female characters despite the series being open and critical on sexism that the sorcerer society partakes. I especially hated how they fridged Tsumiki, I hated how she was used as Megumis maral compass and killed off without her actually being herself. Worse, we only knew from Megumis descriptions who consider her but a lot of fans have pointed How Toji warned Tsumiki not to seek fights, and advice that she later gave Megumi And that from the ages of like seven and onward was they state in the fan book that it was very much her who raised Megumi outside of Gojo's financial care. Tsumiki was a angry, parentifed eldest daughter, a normal in a world of sorcerers and lived with two of the strongest of them. The dismissal of the possibilities and her character makes me angry.
We do have more than Maki (I assume you meant her, although Mai is also still there kinda I guess) and Utahime. Shoko, Hana and Angel seem way more important than Utahime honestly. They're not doing much at the moment, but that applies to everyone on the protagonist side. Without Shoko, a good chunk of the protags would already be dead or have a lot less limbs. Although I have to say that it makes no sense to me that Hana had to be saved by Amai and healed by Shoko, when Angel should've been able to do all that. She is a legitimate threat to Sukuna, she has a 1000 year vendetta against him and losing an arm is what would've done her in? She gives up just like that? "sucks to be me I guess"? There was all this conflict set up with her bloodlust and justice vs Hana's wish to save people and nothing came of it. She just decided to play nice after Yuuji told her he doesn't like her attitude. I'm sure Angel is gonna play a role in the Heian flashback or otherwise there would've been no need to bring up the Fallen One business, but the way she's treated in present time makes me so mad. She explicitly said, she will only release Gojo after the protagonists help her kill Sukuna and then just decided to go against that without any comment or complain. Got reduced to a can opener because we so desperately need fish eyes back. Of course she had to be limited somehow or she would've killed Sukuna way to early, but that seems like the worst way to do it. And now she's just an encyclopedia for the others to consult.
At least Hana had an arc, a backstory and character development. You can dislike her having an obsession with Megumi, but it makes sense based on what we know about her past and the traumatic way she met him. It's even a somewhat unique situation I would say. I don't think Gege dropped her completely yet. Whatever happens with Megumi will have an effect on her too. Compared to Angel she got something going for her.
I'm sure Takako is also gonna come into play again somehow or there would be no point to have her live that long. She could've been one-shotted by Sukuna like Ryuu, but she wasn't. Her character is way too interesting for that too. Ryuu's story was already over, hers isn't. I hope she will meet up with Kenjaku. I'd like to see their interaction. If someone is gonna survive the Culling Game, I wish it's her.
God, don't remind me of Tsumiki. That was some bullshit. I came to really like Yorozu, but she was very badly set up. Just got thrown into the story randomly so Sukuna can have a power-up (suppressing Megumi and gaining some sort of weapon). And after all that build-up for Tsumiki too. A conflict between her and Megumi would've been so satisfying. He would've been forced to acknowledge that the Tsumiki he uses as his moral compass doesn't align with the real one. He was shocked, that he didn't recognize Yorozu, but all that told him was that she was a good actor and not that his sister might not match his rosy view of her. That whole conflict got clumsily squeezed into a fight that really only revolved around Yorozu and Sukuna. Megumi's crying face at the end is also very underwhelming, since we got absolutely nothing that would've deserved that, except the very vague knowledge that Tsumiki is dead now. Which she likely was since Yorozu woke up (if only we had concrete information on that). This felt like Sukuna ripped up a cardboard cutout of Tsumiki and Megumi cried about it. It had so little impact. If Megumi got submerged completely by the Bath nothing would've changed because Tsumiki was never really there and he should know that. You could've replaced Tsumiki with a dog Megumi bonded with as a child and nothing would've changed. Except there would be no one to do the housework for him and take care of him before Gojo showed up. It's really just such a waste.
I wish Yorozu and Tsumiki were allowed to be seperate characters with separate bodies (Yorozu just takes some other random person as vessel like any other reincarnated sorcerer and Tsumiki is a new sorcerer). Then we could have the conflict with Megumi, they really get to air out their differences and Megumi is forced to experience character growth, we learn who Tsumiki is as her own person, and then Megumi gets taken over by Sukuna after his confrontation with Tsumiki shook him to the core. Yorozu & Sukuna can still have their fight later.

I really wish Yorozu punched him in the face right here
To make this clear though, I really only have a problem with the writing decisions surrounding Tsumiki, Yorozu and Angel. I think the others are fine. Yes, there could be more female characters in jjk, but I think the ones we do get are handled well. I don't think this makes Gege a misogynist as many like to say. Nothing here speaks of any hatred, disgust, dehumanizing or misunderstanding of women to me (as you can see Megumi was just as poorly handled). Hayashida Q's current story Dai Dark has no women at all. Not even in the background. Just men and ambiguously gendered people. I'm not calling her a misogynist over that though, it's just the kind of story she wants to tell and world she places it in. I would like more female characters in jjk, but only if they are written well. I don't need them written and drawn like One Piece women only for the sake of hitting some gender quota. Don't think Gege would do that anyway. The way they address sexism in-universe and the queer representation we get tells me that much.
