GENSHIN HCS | YOU FALL ASLEEP ON THEM

(sorry for being gone for like forever. didn’t have much motivation to write lol.)

Characters: scaramouche, il dottore, raiden shogun, klee (platonic), ayato, yae miko, xiao, zhongli, ganyu and ayaka x gn!reader

scaramouche

To be honest, I feel like he would act as though he hates it that you fell asleep on his shoulder, but inside he loves it. His heart practically screaming inside.

After a while, he would get tired of it, and purposely say something out loud, or softly shake you until you wake up. If you don’t, he’ll just pick you up and carry you to your bedroom.

il dottore

Dottore actually wouldn’t mind. If you two are alone, he would simply lay his head on top of yours and listen to your breathing. If you’re in public though, he’ll just act as if nothing had happened, and probably act as if he finds it unpleasant, just so he doesn’t ruin his image y’know.

If you’re overworked and you fall asleep on him while researching something, he might just do it for you, and complete it while letting you rest on his comfortable shoulder.

raiden shogun

Raiden would try her best not to move so she doesn’t wake you. If she does, she’ll feel really bad and apologize. She would try to make it up to you, even if you insist that she doesn’t have to.

She would probably stop the loud ass thunderstorm, and change the weather to something more calming, like gentle rain. She would also carry you to your bedroom, so that it’s more comfy for you.

klee

She would probably be really startled at first. One second, you were helping Klee make her massive bomb for something who knows what, and a second later you were snoring, while your head was on top of hers.

Klee wouldn’t really know what to do, she would probably try to wake you up. If that doesn’t work, she will ask somebody for help, either Jean, Kaeya or Lisa.

ayato

You two would be sitting in his study, with you next to him reading a book. The atmosphere was really relaxing, and caused you to rest your eyes a bit, which resulted to you falling asleep on Ayato.

He jumped a bit after feeling your head on his shoulder, but then he smirked a bit, before placing your head on his lap so you didn’t have to sleep in an uncomfortable position.

yae miko

Yae would probably chuckle a bit on seeing your cute expression while you’re sleeping. I have a feeling she would admire you for a little while, before carrying you to your bedroom.

If she doesn’t have anything else to do for the day, she climb into bed with you. Without noticing it, she would turn into her fox form. So, don’t be surprised when you have a some fox fur everywhere in your bed when you wake up.

xiao

Just like Scaramouche, he would pretend as if he hates it when you fall asleep on him. Probably rolling his eyes or something. He’s not so used to physical touch, so this may seem kinda weird for him.

He may be awkward at first, but later on he would soften up a bit. Maybe laying his head on yours, or just admire you as you sleep.

zhongli

You two were laying in bed together, your head on his chest, and Zhongli was telling you stories about his past. That was until, he heard a light snore come from underneath him, he slightly smiled to himself.

Zhongli doesn’t really sleep that much, so it would be a while until he falls asleep, so he would just continue telling his stories even though you weren’t exactly listening.

ganyu

If you’re overworked and fall asleep on her, she wouldn’t mind. As a workaholic, she understands how it must feel to have so much work on your shoulders.

By seeing you sleep, she too, would get really tired. She would carry you to your shared bedroom, where you two were cuddling until one of you woke up from your slumber.

ayaka

I have a feeling Ayaka would become a blushing mess. Turning all red, but she doesn’t even know why. She would look at you, smiling to herself at how cute you looked.

She wouldn’t know if to move you to a more comfortable place to sleep in fear of waking you up, so she doesn’t, she just stays still until you wake up.

I’m sorry again for being away for so long, I just never have the time or motivation to write anymore. I’ll try to write from time to time though.

Could I see hcs for Raiden Ei, Yae Miko and Hu Tao with an adopted child that is heavily implied to have had a very hard, sad and painful past before they took them in? The child is very quiet, timid, fearful and touch-starved, and has nightmares and is prone to crying. Is this okay?

Troubled Adopted Child Headcanons

When Ei ended up with this child, she was clueless about what to do.

She found the child lost in Inazuma, and they were clearly terrified of Ei.

She spent weeks trying to find their mother to no avail.

The pour thing wouldn't come near Ei, but if there were something scarier than her, like a guard, the young one would cling to Ei.

She developed an attachment quickly to the child, and soon she was taking them everywhere with her.

She would soothe the child when they woke up in the middle of the night crying, sometimes even getting into bed to help calm them.

Ei loves teaching the little ones about Inazuma and always tells them stories of its past.

Ei doesn't mind that the child cries a lot; she will always be there to wipe away their tears and remind them that everything will be okay now.

The child is always quiet in public or around others, but the moment they are only with Ei they become a chatterbox.

Ei's heart swelled with love and pride the first time her child called her Mama.

Kujou Sara is the only other person allowed to watch Ei's child, though she usually hides the entire time Sara watches her.

Miko never had any intentions of becoming a mother. But when she saw that young child hiding in a box on the street, something compelled her to help.

The child was terrified when Miko approached and offered them a place to sleep, but they still took her up on the offer.

Miko had a meal and a room prepared for them as soon as she returned home, and the child ate like it was their first meal in months.

That night Miko woke to screams, and she rushed into the room to find the child having a nightmare.

They clung to Miko, sobbing like a baby as she tried to soothe them.

Miko was attached from that moment on.

The child ended up living at the shrine with Miko. They were terrified of everyone, and it took a lot of work to get them even to leave the house.

Miko was patient with the child, even when they had been crying and sniffing for hours over something she considered trivial.

Her heart melted when the child asked if they could call her Mama since she was the mother they never had. Of course, she said yes.

As the child started coming out of their shell, the two of them became a duo, and you would never see Miko without her kid.

When Hutao discovered that two of her clients had a child that survived the accident, she had to meet them.

However, the child was terrified of Hutao, and it took multiple meetings before they would come out from hiding.

There was something about them that sent warmth through Hutaos heart, and she continued to visit them at the orphanage even after their parent's funeral.

She missed one week, and when she returned, the child came running up, clinging to her as they sobbed about her leaving forever. She knew at that moment that this child was going to be hers.

A month later, the adoption was complete, and Hutao was the young one's guardian.

Many things at the funeral parlor and Hutao's house scared the child, and she always found a way to make the scary stuff funny.

Always reads them to sleep and keeps a close eye on them throughout the night.

She doesn't mind their more withdrawn and quiet personality, and the more time they spend together, the more the personality of the young one starts to shine.

Hutao had always been "Auntie Hutao" until one day, without even thinking about it her child called her "Mommy Hutao," and it stuck.

Baking Christmas Cookies ft. the Archons

((A little late, I know!!!))

V E N T I

He adds WAY too much sugar at first. ((You had to double the recipe lest it be to overpowering, but you have a sneaking suspicion that’s what he intended.))

He INSISTED you make either rum or apple cookies. Somehow, you managed to find a recipe that included both.

The counter is covered in flour. It looks like it’s snowed in the kitchen.

The cookies are the UGLIEST things you’ve ever made, but they actually taste pretty good.

Z H O N G L I

He lets you choose the recipe. (( You end up making ginger snaps. Zhongli also made some tea to go with the cookies when they were finished. ))

He follows the recipe perfectly, and you wonder how exactly he managed to keep everything so orderly.

The kitchen is somehow cleaner after you two baked than it was before. ((It’s a little embarrassing, actually. ))

Somehow, Zhongli’s range of stories includes the culture behind desserts, so you listen to him ramble while you both bake. ((It’s fine, though. You’re learning new stuff and he has a very nice voice.))

The cookies turn out looking gorgeous, and you swear they’re sparkling.

E I

She wanted to bake with you, but unfortunately she has no skill in cooking.

You both go to a bakery instead, and buy cookies. (( Ei felt bad about being unable to bake, and ended up getting several of each type of cookie that the bakery had. The poor shopkeeper looked ready to pass out.))

After visiting the bakery, Ei drags you to three other dessert shops against your protests. ((As the pinnacle of skill, not knowing how to bake was an oversight on her part. She never expected to have need of that ability, and as such, she must make up for its lacking.))

The night ends with you struggling to find a way to transport all the sweets, which are WAY too much for the both of you, and Ei apologizing sheepishly. (( She may have gotten a little carried away…))

N A H I D A

Theoretically speaking, she should know how to make cookies. She’s seen them made several times using her ability to transfer her conscience.

She lets you choose the recipe, and seems pretty confident in her baking abilities. ((That’s where things went south…))

While the two of you added all the proper ingredients and followed the instructions, after putting them in the oven—

The cookies didn’t form properly, and they were a little extra crispy around the edges.

You were going to try and eat one if only to make Nahida happy, when the oven suddenly caught fire.

The rest of the evening went like this : You and Nahida put out the fire, you vacated the house for the smoke to pass, and ended up getting takeout.

After the fact, you find the whole thing hilarious. ((Nahida doesn’t understand why you think its so funny.))

Self Aware Stuff with my Favorite Characters

A/N: Some headcanons I made based on some things I do while playing and how I think some characters could react. Maybe OOC, because idk how to write (i have 0 experience) and english is not my first language.

Wanderer could be flabbergasted if you Co-op with a Raiden main/someone who uses Raiden. Not because he's seeing his creator after all this time (that's also a reason), but because the other player keeps making Raiden look at him. As Raiden looks at him with curiosity because “who’s this guy? and why does he look so tense?”, Wanderer curses you under his breath.

I feel like Lyney would be very happy if you have an exclusive team for him and his siblings (yes, only three characters, who needs a fourth anyway?). Just, him and his siblings on adventures around Teyvat :3 Although, if any of them are underleveled, he won't be as happy (what if they get hurt? Level them up, dude!).

If you put music on while playing, I think that Furina would be quite interested. Like, imagine if you put something like “Duet” from Omori (dies crying), she would be quite immersed in listening until the end. You might even hear her say something like "Not bad" during her idle animation.

If you are one of those who talk a lot during quests, I feel that Heizou would be more than interested in listening to you (especially during Fontaine's quest). Like, if you're frustrated by some characters' actions and you're talking to basically no one, Heizou would be listening and giving his own opinion in his mind.

Man, writing sure is hard lmao

"where could they be... *he mutters to himself, pacing with a stern expression* oh, traveller, what a pleasant surprise. say... you haven't seen [name] around, have you? no? ah, that's alright. what i'm doing? well, i'm waiting for [name], hence why i was curious as to where they are, we planned to go for a stroll together along the harbour, then perhaps continuing along the coast to pick- *his eyes seem to light up as he catches sight of you, his stone-cold gaze softening* excuse me, if you will, traveller my date has arrived..."

"ah yes... [name] *she smiles subtly, yet without restriction* their name brings me pure joy. tell me, traveller, how did you come across such a name? why yes, i do know them. in fact, me and [name] are quite close. it feels as if it's been an eternity since i've seen them last... *she sighs, not in sadness but more so at the wave of nostalgia washing over her* the plane of euthymia has felt emptier than ever without their visits, why don't you tell them to drop by next time you see them?"

wanderer, keqing, pantalone, lyney, cyno, raiden

[tw!!! physical features the characters might be attracted to are mentioned, please don't continue if it bothers you anyhow. everything is my opinion and i don't mean to offend anyone, anyhow.] also i randomly switch povs from their lover to you so there's that lol. credits for the headers go to the artist, they are not mine.

WANDERER

— wanderer likes people who can stand up for themselves and be assertive, even in the face of fear. a partial reason for this could be the fact that he suffered at the hands of many for not having stated his desires. he is a people pleaser and would like to learn this virtue from whomever he chooses as his partner. he also admires resilience and perseverance, people who work in the shadows or use underhanded means to achieve their ends aren't seen by him in the best light. he likes focused, ambitious and noble people who stand up for what is right, and who would stand up for him when others wrong him though he himself is fully capable of doing so.

he could be attracted to people who are just by nature. not righteous, somebody who always sticks to the right isn't the best either but somebody who knows of law and justice and knows what is the right thing to do. although he may very well want to be the dominant partner in the relationship, he would admire someone who challenges his belief without batting an eye, without knowing they just turned his belief system upside down. somebody intelligent and bright who can be the lamp to his dark, the light to his firefly. he wouldn't like a goody two shoes so someone who knows how to break rules but in a very, 'find-loopholes-in-the-law' kind of sense. someone who can handle his cynical and sarcastic nature and patiently waits for him to open up. he would

someone who dislikes attention but grabs it wherever they go nonetheless. someone who can make him feel loved and important. someone who would help him grow and heal. someone he can open up to without feeling ashamed or scared. who would embrace his dark as much as they admire his light and treat him gently.

although i'm quite sure he would only be interested in grabbing said person's attention in the start. he wouldn't approach them with an intent to change, just with the desire to be important to someone who is so admirable. but eventually, as he gets to know them more he would come to love them.

i don't want to make comments on physical beauty but all i can say is that he could like intense eyes and a serene and relaxed expression. whose face radiates peace and patience. he could be attracted to people whose face has a glow, you know when you look at someone and can't help but catch glances. not that they're angelina jolie or something but just that their face bears the radiance of someone intelligent and bright.

KEQING

— keqing is the bearer of responsibilities and expectations wherever she may go. undoubtedly, she likes it, it proves her worth. there are chances that she could have power struggles or ego problems in relationships, especially if it's someone who makes her insecure. she would be best with someone who is well respected and admired and famous but not in the same field as her. she would start seeing it as competition and end up hurting them, unintentionally. she could very well want to be the submissive partner (not in a sexual sense lmao) and take care of duties at home whereas the other partner takes care of worldly affairs. she could be the provider too, but she would find nurturing others in that sense a bit hectic because she's very attached to her career life.

someone patient and caring who would hug her when she comes back home, who can hold her hand and make her laugh when she is in a good mood and give her a shoulder to cry on when she's upset. she's a blunt person because she dislikes dishonesty in intimate relationships so someone who can handle that. she would also be irritated by a partner who expects to be placed before her career and family. who is as busy as she is but can still find time for her. she would like to make them run after her but once her affection is won, all her love floods in like a summer spring— all for her lover and one and only.

someone who aims long term. who is bold, outgoing and extroverted and can compliment her, who she can present loud and proud. someone who only has eyes for her and can wait for her; she would be embarrassed by pda so there's that, too.

PANTALONE lmao you guys.

— pantalone likes to be praised and admired for the stuff he does. of course, one won't go as far as to say someone who'd worship him, but someone who can romance him. he knows how to do it, much better than any romantic partner i'd say, but he likes seeing them put in the effort and try. as such, he wants someone who can make him a priority, or at least keep him in their top three. he needs them to be understanding of the nature of his work, how busy he can be and so someone who can adjust to that would be amazing! it'll definitely be worth it though because at the first chance he gets, he's going to make sure he gives you the whole world along with his heart at your disposal. he's very generous but it's a very give-and-take kind of thing— be passionate with him and he'll give you thrice of it. someone who is gullible, understanding, compassionate and kind but can be rough and tough when time demands it. not someone harsh though. like a camellia, someone who blooms even in winter snow.

although he'd like a submissive partner, he wouldn't want a dumb or unpopular one. as someone so famous as him, he would show you off everywhere and to everyone hence someone full of etiquette and elegance who can adjust to a very fancy life and who he would think compliments him, increases his charm.

very possessive guy, he needs his own freedom but is not willing to give you yours— it could get toxic very easily so someone who can draw a line and explain to him where he is going wrong is ideal. an ambivert who is capable and confident with others, and relaxed and smiling with him. he loves spoiling so someone who can handle that. someone with a lot of dignity or pride wouldn't sit too well with him. he loves intelligence or wittiness, especially when it's used to trick him because even though he is cunning enough to see right through it, he'll be infinitely amused by it. someone independent and down-to-earth who can show him his place when he's asking for it.

someone attractive, someone you can stare at for hours and not get bored.

LYNEY

a most extroverted and bold character, one would say. however, this boldness seems to disappear somehow when he is in front of someone who he actually is in love with. or at least that's the kind of love he desires. something that knocks the breath out of him— makes him tremble and stare in awe when they appear, a past life perhaps that connects their soul with a red string, binding them in a tango forever.

aside from this dreaminess that lyney bears about the idea of a lover, he would like someone who can make him feel comfortable, otherwise, he'll only play around and then leave. comfort is so important for him that it can make or break the bond. no matter how superficial he may seem, he wants to be able to confide in his partner entirely without them judging him or making snide remarks. he wants someone who can be lighthearted in love, but not unserious. he doesn't fall easily so he thinks long term and wants someone who can do that too. someone who is wise but doesn't preach; he desires a lover, not a teacher. very lawful people bore him since he likes breaking rules and finding loopholes so someone who can be like that.

i'm not so sure about this but he could very well take his sister's opinion into consideration when choosing a partner, so it'll be someone his sister likes too. he'll be a very fun lover and always make you laugh. one thing that could pose a problem is that he may not understand the importance of certain things or topics and take them lightly. so someone who can take the rein patiently in those matters will be admired by him. he would be very hurt if his partner said harsh words to him because he would hold their opinion in high regard, so someone who can control their anger.

he would want to be useful to them somehow so someone who'd tell him how to do so. very soft lmao but fun and lovely nonetheless. although it could take him time to find the one since he wants to keep everyone happy; someone who upsets lynette or freminet would be rejected with ease.

CYNO

i'm certain that even in a modern au, he would be in a job that requires strength or resilience of body and mind. as such, he would desire the company of someone who can take away the weight of general household work from his shoulders. it's not that he is running away from it, he would easily do it if his partner can't, but he wants to be with someone understanding enough to take the responsibility of stuff they can do from his shoulders. he really idealises the soldier returning home from war trope and would want someone nurturing and kind who would talk to him and take his pain away from him.

he's patient in romantic relations and would want someone who trusts him. he'd be very protective but in a very positive sense, he just wouldn't let harm come in your way and would support your endeavours in a very practical way. he would trust you a lot too and make sure that you're happy as long as you're with him. your peace and joy bring him euphoria. he isn't the obsessive or possessive type though, he'll trust your devotion and commitment. someone just and royal, who can deal with the law and align themselves with it. someone who can understand his duty and prepare themselves by hardening their heart. someone who can remind him of his duties when he gets carried away and who doesn't need to be babied. not that he won't do it but he doesn't want a parasite.

someone who'll keep their promises and maintain a joyful disposition. someone who'll gladly sacrifice comforts when his duty is in question and be prepared for hardships and struggles. someone who's still soft though, it'd really break his heart when he saw them sacrificing for his sake but that would be the one thing that makes tears come to his eyes, the one act that makes him want to pour his heart out for you.

RAIDEN

raiden is the archetypal villainous lover who sacrifices the world for their partner. it's not ideal, certainly not— so someone who would be flattered by such devotion. raiden loves with a lot of devotion and expects the same in return so someone who would provide her with the trust she demands. she's very generous too, and would gladly shower her lover with gifts and love and respect and expect only love in return. she wants to have someone whose presence gives her peace and calmness of mind, who can talk to her and talk practically and take all her worries away. she adores loyalty so that would be very important.

i think she would make for an excellent lover in the sense that she can be both emotional and practical, except that sometimes she gets too practical. someone who can appeal to her kinder side would be much adored. with her, there's this problem that her entire world starts revolving around you, so you have to make sure she doesn't get obsessed or carried away in love and stays practical and career-oriented too. she would love it so much when you express concern for her. she would rather be the money maker and caretaker and would want someone who can romance her and be passionate, though it's not particularly necessary either— she's quite good at romance herself though her definition of romance could be hard to understand.

someone who can respect her anger and see her side of the argument too, should the chance of one ever arise. she needs time to cool down so someone who understands that and gives her space and freedom is ideal. she doesn't like clingy people and would encourage you to step out in the world too.

selfishness does not sit well with her. a bit random but i see her as someone who focuses on her partner more than the children and they could be a bit neglected for that reason so you have to be the responsible one in that aspect.

I think this could go two ways:

One, nothing really special, but every scar you get is golden

Two, depending on how you die, a scar will appear, a beautiful reminder of how you died

Like if you died because Ei struck you with lightning, you would have a shimmering lightning strike dancing across your skin

I think it would be cool if it stacks too, but no one knows until it's too late

Diluc

I feel like Diluc probably sleeps on his back, and just lays there. Not even moving. Which makes it kind of hard for you to cuddle with him. Sometimes, he feels kind of bad, and pulls you into his arms. He is mostly the big spoon, but wouldn’t mind being the little spoon once in a while.

Ganyu

Why do I imagine that you two have matching pajamas💀 kind of cute though.

Anyways, Ganyu does not sleep that much because, sometimes she overworks, which means you have to drag her to bed most of the time. Likes to cuddle, I feel like she enjoys laying on your chest, while you caress her hair or horns.

Itto

Oh boy. This oni snores so loud, that the whole land of Inazuma can hear him. You would have to practically kick his leg so he would stop. He is really big on cuddling, he likes it when you lay on his chest. Your breathing make him feel calm, but when you’re spooning. That’s a different story. He enjoys being the big spoon, but sometimes he squeezes you too hard without even noticing it.

Raiden Shogun

If you’re scared of thunder or lightning, she will most likely make the weather rainy, so you can peacefully fall asleep in her arms. She holds onto you really tight, afraid of letting you go, Ei feels like she has to protect you at all costs. You may hear some snoring from her, but it’s really light snoring, so you can’t really hear a thing.

Xiao

I feel like Xiao wouldn’t be really into cuddling at first, but later in the relationship, it was him who always initiated the cuddling. He probably has a messed up sleep schedule, so he might wake up in the middle of the night, and not be able to fall asleep again. Also, he likes it when you play with his hair, it really calms him down.

Yae Miko

Miko is probably a light sleeper, any disturbances might awake her, even if you move an inch, it might still wake her. When she’s asleep, she sometimes out of nowhere turns into her fox form, but you don’t mind, her fur is literally so soft.

Yunjin (she’s so underrated bro)

Yunjin would only sleep when you’ve gone to sleep. She cares about you too much. If you have trouble sleeping, she would sing for you, which you honestly adore. I feel like she’s a heavy sleeper, and probably snores a bit, idk💀

Zhongli

He would tell you stories about his past, when he was an archon, which honestly keeps you awake, rather than sleepy. He sometimes notices that, and rather just holds you till you fall asleep. I have a feeling he sleeps on his back with many pillows in his bed. (So random lol)

Genshin Girls When They’re Late to a Date! Modern AU

Genre: Angst, Eventual fluff

Reader: Gender Neutral

Beidou-

It’s raining. Your girlfriend is late. You wonder if she even forgot your anniversary. You’re sitting at the, now wet, picnic spot that you picked hoping to watch the sunset while eating the delicious home-made sandwiches you made for her. You hoped you guys would reminisce about past time while watching the warm sky finally turn blue. This was supposed to be a romantic outing, but instead you’re by your lonesome with no Beidou in sight.

You guys have been together for a while now, and Beidou has been so attentive of your every need, making sure you’re always comfortable, safe, and warm with her around. And what’s worse? The fact that she’s sent all your calls to voicemail and hasn’t answered your texts, or that she’s smiling… climbing the hill you’re sat on and bringing a hugeee umbrella to cover you, her, and the food.

“Hey love,” she calls out quietly. You remain silent as she places the umbrella down to protect you and the already soggy food from the rain. She doesn’t sit down yet, waiting for your permission.

“Won’t even look at me, huh?” She sighs, kneeling and looking in your direction. The soft rain outlining her figure.

You sigh, “Please make yourself at home, don’t want you to get a cold.” You say with an eye roll as you’re basically an ice cube away from turning into a snowman.

She chuckles a bit as you scoot over to make space for her. She grabs your hand and gives it a rub, trying to warm you up. You let her. This is her apologizing for her being late. You can tell she feels too bad to even mention an excuse as to why she’s late right now, but you ask anyway. “Why did you come so late? The suns already gone and the sandwiches are pretty much ruined…” You speak barley even audible, but Beidou catches it. She catches everything you say.

“Well… did you eat all the sandwiches or are they all actually soggy?” She reaches for the picnic basket, imagining the wooden protective cover would keep the sandwich’s dry, plus you put them in a zip log.

You slap her hand quickly before she can uncover the basket. “Well maybe I wouldn’t have eaten all of them if you came on time!” You huff angrily, finally looking her in the eyes to see her already looking at you, with her signature hearty smile. She watches your face soften at the sight of her.

“Oh there’s those sweet eyes,” she rubs a hand over your cheek. Practically holding you captive. You can’t refuse. “Why don’t we just make this a stargazing night instead, hmm? Would you like that?” Once you nod, she pushes you down the wet blanket you laid out, cupping your face as she starts to kiss you softly.

If only you weren’t so weak in the knees for her…

P.S. You eventually found out she was late cause she saw the weather forecast ahead of time (unlike you) and left half way in the drive to the picnic spot so she could grab a huge umbrella to keep you warm. She was actually really angry at herself she couldn’t beat the rain.

Yelan-

You’re scared. It’s dark out. The restaurant is closing and your ride, your girlfriend may I add, is no where to be seen. The dangers of waiting in the street in this city is just a fiasco already in motion.

And your girlfriend knows this, hence why she’s practically never late to anything. Yelan is always looking out for any possible danger like a hawk (she can be a little over protective sometimes). But it’s been maybe about two hours since your original meeting time? You wouldn’t know because your phone is dead… You have no idea where she is, and the restaurant staff is waiting on you so they can leave.

You sheepishly apologize to the waitress closing up as you exit the fancy restaurant that Yelan reserved. ‘Where the hell is she??’ You ponder. But just as you exit out the restaurant, you see the familiar expensive black car pull up.

Yelan doesn’t roll down the window, no, she jumps out the car and runs toward you. She frantically grabs your shoulders and starts shaking you. “Are you okay?? Why weren’t you home? Did something happen? I had to track you through your phone, gosh I was worried sick.” She starts to speak really fast while she gives you a quick look around to confirm to herself that you are alive.

Once she reassured herself that you’re okay, she noticed how fancy you’re dressed and looks up to the name of the restaurant, finally remembering this was the day she invited you out to eat. “Oh… oh baby I’m so sorry.” A look a guilt fills her face as she frowns.

“Did you forget?” You chime. The disappointment still lingers, but whatever anger you felt, dissipated from the look of panic on her face. She nods, resting her head on your shoulder as you rub her back. “It’s okay, it happens to the best of us.” She stiffens at your words. She looks back to make eye contact with you and your soft sympathizing smile melts her heart. How could she ever keep someone as sweet as you waiting?

Yelan takes another look at you. Letting the sight in front of her really sink in. “You dressed this nice for me?” She smirks and you heat up.

You always shy away when she gives you that look. “I just wanted today to be special and then to look special… for you.” Yelan’s heart probably skipped a beat at that.

“Then let me make it up to you.” She opens the passenger seat and holds a hand out for you. Nothing but determination set on her face as you accept the familiar warmth of her hand and climb in.

P.S. I bet she ended up taking you to Mcdonalds cause basically nothing is open late anymore (Thanks a lot COVID)

Kokomi-

You’re worried. The crowd of the movie theatre starts to disperse and there’s still no sign of Kokomi anywhere. It’s maybe about an hour after your meeting time and the movie is already halfway done probably. You decide to venture out the cinema to the busy street, sun hitting your eyes as it’s still bright out.

But this sunny atmosphere doesn’t help the fact that you’re worried sick, not for yourself but Kokomi. She actually planned this date and she isn’t picking up her phone. ‘God what if something happened to her.’ You’d never forgive yourself if something did. You made a promise to yourself to always protect her.

You knew Kokomi had a habit of over exhausting herself; that she tends to sorta just crash afterwards and needs time to recharge. This weekend was supposed to be a celebration for completing finals week, but maybe the cramming got to her.

After wandering around the city for a bit, occasionally calling out your lover’s name, you decide to head to her dorm. Luckily it’s not far away. It’s a 10 minute walk, but you make it five as you’re in a hurry to make sure she’s okay.

While rushing a flash of pink strides past you as it takes you a second to look back at the familiar backside of your girlfriend.

“Kokomi! Wait up!” You immediately dash as she turns around at the sound of her name. She pauses. The look of panic of her face turns into a scrunched up one as she starts to cry at the sight of you. There’s eye bags under her eyes, her hairs a mess, and she’s still in pajamas. She still looks like the princess she is though, but you can tell she was rushing to meet you.

She runs over to you and frantically exclaims, “I’m so sorry, I slept through my alarm and set so many to make it on time cause I really wanted to watch this with you but I didn’t hear the ring. You’ve been looking forward to movie weekend for so long cause of finals and so have I cause I needed to see you. But I’ve been so tired from all these all nighters and-“

“Kokomi calm down, it’s okay. You’re okay and that’s all that matters.” You grab her and give her a hug, trying to sooth her down as she bawls in your arms. “It’s okay, everything is okay now.” You rub her back as she eventually pulls herself together.

“Ugh sorry you had to see me like that. I look like a mess right now.” She looks at her feet and tugs at the shirt she’s wearing that has different toothpaste stains.

“Oh my god, don’t be ridiculous Koko.” She flushes at the sound of her nickname as you comfort her. “Even if you were covered in mud or fell into a trash can, you’d still be the prettiest girl in the world.” She blushes even more at your words and gives you another hug.

“I really missed you this week.” She says, hugging you even tighter.

“I know, so did I. Why don’t we just do movie night at your place?” You pat her head as she nods. You guys hold hands on the way back as Kokomi eventually returns to her passionate self in your presence.

P.S. She forgot her phone as she rushed out to get you.

Ei-

Your girlfriend doesn’t leave the house often. She’s really busy and tends to be a homebody anyway, so this weekend you wanted to take a road trip to the nearby beach and finally enjoy some sunlight with her. Don’t get me wrong, staying home with Ei makes for a passionate and cozy atmosphere, but you wanted more of a romantic environment sometimes.

Hence why you’re here, voice mailing Ei wondering if she’s still at the beach hotel. You guys would’ve walked to the beach together if it weren’t for the fact that Ei still has some work to finish up and told you that’d she’d meet you there soon.

At first you were having fun, playing in the water and sand, but it’s been a good hour since Ei said she’d be coming. Now, an hour might not seem too long on the beach given there’s a lot to do, but Ei said she’d be coming out soon. And while Ei isn’t very good with time management (she’s a perfectionist who takes the lasting seconds to perfect her work) she promised you that this weekend was just going to be you, her, and the big blue sea.

You sit on the sand, wet from the sea but not cold with the sun’s glare. You watch the waves go back and forth. The wishy-washy sea oddly reminds you of your relationship. There’s those times where it feels like the perfect relationship in the world, but then its goes back to times like these. You don’t like being mad at Ei, she has her reasons of course, but you just want to be the priority sometimes.

You get lulled out of your thoughts at the sound of your name. “Y/N! There you are, I’ve been looking for you. Are you ready for the beach?” You turn around to see her huffing and puffing from running. But once she sees a gloomy look on your face she asks, “What’s wrong?” She sits down next to you and looks to you for an answer.

“I…,” you sigh. You can’t say it. Ei works hard; not to play hard, but she works hard to provide. She’s paying for this trip and you just can’t bring yourself to complain. “No, sorry it’s nothing-“

“Y/N tell me. I know when something is troubling you.” She cuts you off and gives your hand a squeeze. She looks so attentively at you, searching your eyes for an answer.

“I just wish you’d spend more time with me… you promised it’d be just you and me, but you’ve spent more time with your laptop than me and I just… I just don’t get how I can miss my girlfriend when she’s right next to me.” You poor everything out in the open as a silence lingers in the air. You don’t meet Ei’s eyes, slightly worried she might be angry.

But you’re met with a hug instead. “I’m sorry. I know it doesn’t feel nice to be put second. Work has been hectic lately, but I promise- no enough promises. I am going to be the best for you. You deserve nothing but the best. I’m sorry I kept you waiting, I didn’t realize the time passed by.” She doesn’t let go of the hug. “Please say something.” She burrows her head in your neck.

You wrap your arms around her back and feel her soften up in your arms. “I know you’re trying. You try every day to be your best not just for me, but for yourself too and that’s what I love about you. So it’s okay, I understand. Just can we put work aside this once and focus on each other?” She looks back at you with sparkles in her eyes and holds your hands.

“Really? You don’t want to scrap the whole thing?” She asks, cautious she fucked things up this time.

“No, of course not!” You get up as the look of shock still lingers on her face. “Common the waves are going to get cold soon!” You pull her hand as you get up and run to the waters. Laughter trailing behind you as you meet the waves again with your feet. The waves make you now realize that every relationship has its highs and lows, but the beauty of a relationship is working through those lows.

As much as she loves you and wants to be with you all the time, she asks you to stay on land.

I mean, you're pregnant and what if they encounter a sea monster or something ?

Besides, on lang, there's plenty of doctors you can see in case there's a problem.

Anyway, since you can't go with her on sea, she goes on one or two trips at sea before staying on land during pregnancy. She will just plan the Alcor's trips from land and give all the work outside Liyue to her crew. If it's business inside the nation, she'll do it herself, as she still needs to do something to provide for you and your kid to be !

Completely overprotective, no one can touch you except her. With what happened in her childhood, I assume she's very protective of people who accept her as she is no matter what kind of luck she might bring. So the least problem, she will not be calm until she has confirmation that it's really fine.

If a "Karen" type of person is messing with you (with how many stories you can hear about them and pregnant women), trust me, she'll have to hold back to not put this person on life support for the rest of their life.

If at first you're staying at Liyue's Harbor, toward the end of the pregnancy, you go to Qingce Village, to be sure to relax and knowing the eledery people would do anything to help you and they probably would also know what to do if something happens.

Will totally bring you some trinkets and gifts she found or bought not this far. She would go to Liyue Harbor from time to time, to make sure everything is fine with her crew. Always bring a small gift, for you or a new toy for the kid !

Would totally carry anything for you, you're forbidden from lifting more than whatever she might see as too heavy for you (which is a bit of everything)

Her heart melts when she sees the eldery people of the village helping you out with bringing you what you might need. Even if they ask you if you would need help looking after the child or if you would like some clothes for the baby or you, or offering some food. She's very grateful for their help.

Will be the useless partner when you start to deliver. Kinda, she panics a bit too much, but she will be there to hold your hand. Well you might have broke her hand during the delivery but it's not like she mind. She knows worst and also, she knows your pain is greater than hers.

"You okay, y/n ? Oh, let me help you with this ! What do you mean you can carry it ? You're already carrying our child ! No need to do more !"

EI/RAIDEN SHOGUN

Overprotective.

She already got the trauma from the loss of her sister, no way she's gonna take any risk at losing you or your child.

She keeps your pregnancy hidden, for safety reasons.

Yae Miko is probably the kid's godmother.

Kujou Sara will be the child's fierce guardian and would be honored to teach them how to use a bow or be their preceptor.

Anyway, thanks to the kitsune, some people knew you were pregnant and the whole news spread across Inazuma.

Before you can do anything, there's a big feast to celebrate !

You're not mad at Yae Miko though. Not like you can blame her or any citizen, it was bound to happen at some point.

The entire nation congratulates you. Even Sangonomiya's shrine does it, as this new life would probably be another chance to finally establish durable peace since this new life would be the start of something new.

During pregnancy, Ei is very overprotective and never leaves you. She would let Yae Miko do half of the Shogun's work, to allow her to spend more time with you.

Given she's not human, she doesn't really get how a pregnant body works, but will ask questions to help you better. She will also read books about it, to be sure.

Brings in whatever food you crave, no matter how weird, but will mostly give you rich food, with a lot of fat and vitamins to be sure the baby will be healthy.

While Ei doesn't plan to step down, a healthy child will ensure a healthy heir in case something happens to her.

When the delivery comes around, she's there, in silence, giving you her hand. She's silent because she knows words won't do anything with the pain you're feeling. At least, that's one of the reasons she gives you and the only one she's willing to voice.

The other reason was she was silent because she knew there was a certain percentage of chance you die during delivery and she was actually praying that her sister would protect you during delivery and if you pass, she hoped Makoto would take good care of you when she couldn't.

"Hello dearest. How do you feel today ? Uh ? You want a special mushroom pizza and ... Salty dangos ? Well, as you wish."

KOKOMI

She is... Very stressed out.

She has to deal with Watatsumi Island's affair, the aftermath of war, the formation of a new army, the negotiation with the shogunate and all.

And now your pregnancy, which doesn't help her much with the amount or stress.

At this point, Gorou steps in and deals with most of Kokomi's duty on the Island or at least as much as he can do to help her and also to allow her to take time for you.

Kokomi is grateful for it.

Well, the news of your pregnancy spreads fast and the entire island is congratulating you !

Kokomi will help you anytime and all the time and the moment you start to feel unwell, she'll heal you and soothe you ! Probably very good at foot massage and will do some for you !

Starts to plan with you some education and perfect names for the kid. Please let her educate the child about strategy and shrine duty. It's not much and a kid would have a lot of free time since those things are taught when the person is mature enough to assimilate and learn such things. And it is quite easy to learn.

Probably read some strategy books to the baby inside of you. It's never too early to learn and at least, they would be able to recognise her voice !

Gorou actually helps you both without any problem and would gladly go search for a future nanny for the kid to be. Or give you anything like clothes or toys.

Bold of him to assume he won't be the kid's nanny and cool doggo uncle in the future.

Anyway, since the Divine Priestess is about to have a kid, people give you and Kokomi a lot of support, food, clothes, toys, a children's book and everything you need.

Chances are Kokomi is helping you and doctors during delivery. She talks to you and tries to take a bit of the pain away.

Heals you or at least helps your body to recover after the delivery.

"Here you are y/n ! I was looking for you, some villagers gifted us some baby clothes and other items and I was thinking maybe you would like to see what they gave us ?"

NINGGUANG

Honestly, she would hire the best doctors and maids to look after you the second she learns you're pregnant.

She's not worried. You both talked about it and it was bound to happen sooner or later with all the procedures.

Anyway, she won't stop working, since she now has to deal with Liyue's new era and guide it through the change.

The news spread immediately and all of Liyue sent you congratulations.

The adepti also sent each something, not that they cared, but they knew Ningguang was someone they couldn't ignore and if the was establishing her dynasty, then let it be, Liyue was changing and maybe this child will be the star of a new generation, the first generation to be born and live during this new era of men.

She would come to you quite often throughout the day to check if everything is good.

Would absolutely gift you the finest gifts and find the best things for the child to be.

Would be happy to see all the support, but she knows that a lot of the support isn't genuine and is people's attempt at getting in her good graces. Well, except when it comes to Liyue Qixing and Adepit's gifts.

Keqing, Yelan and Ganyu will be around a lot, excited for the baby. They all would be the aunts.

Keqing isn't exactly good with children, but she would be willing to make an effort for Ningguang's child, while Yelan is the cool rich aunt who's rarely there but each time she comes would gift something cool, while Ganyu will be the soft aunty who you could go to, to talk about anything.

Probably asks Yun Jin to be the future kid's teacher into fine arts because she trusts the young lady to do well into transmitting the delicate art of theater through education. Ningguang won't have an uncultured child as hers.

During delivery, she is in the room, sitting a bit away. She doesn't hold your hand as she needs her hand to keep working, but her presence is enough to make you feel a bit better. Besides, her being closer would bother the doctors who are well more versed into assisting someone in labor than her.

"Hi, y/n. Do you feel well ? Do you crave anything particular or do you need something else ? Maybe you want me to take some time off for today ?"

YAE MIKO

Well, her attitude doesn't change a lot.

She will tease you a lot, she loves your reactions with your hormones ! At least she has a whole new field to explore with her teasing.

Honestly, the entire shrine would be helping you with your pregnancy, and, with the news spreading a lot of people come all the way to the Grand Narukami Shrine.

The shrine maidens will offer you some predictions !

She will be there no matter what, after all it's not like she has something else to do.

Will pick up a lot of children's books for the kid to be. Maybe a lot of authors in this line will try to offer her their own books in an attempt to have a good relationship with Yae Publishing House.

Wonders if the child would be a kitsune or a human, maybe a hybrid, but how would that work ?

She would be excited and curious to explore what the child would be, so many possibilities ! And so many ways to tease them !

For sure she would tease you saying Ei was already a child so she's used to handling kids and babies.

Speaking of which, it is probably the only one Yae Miko would fully trust to be around you during pregnancy.

Ei is happy for Yae Miko and hopes for the child to grow healthy.

Ei would be that nice aunty who brings and gives whatever the kid wants while Yae Miko would be the teasing mom with some strict rules.

Yae Miko would want to teach the child how to tease as soon as they would be old enough. But she would also love to teach him about how to use a vision if he's granted one. But she'll have to wait for the birth, first

Would prepare herself anything you crave for ! Even the weirdest food, she'll happily prepare it ! It is a very good experience, sometimes you even cook together this weird dish you might want.

About the weird food, she thinks it's funny to order it actually and she loves seeing the cooks' faces when she puts an order for a udon noodle soup with a Special Mushroom Pizza's taste and deep fried tofu.

During delivery, she will hold your hand and distract you a bit by teasing you. It annoys and distracts you. She probably also let the shrine maidens do their job at helping you deliver.

"What is it, my dear ? Oh, you want me to read a book to you ? How cute. What book do you want to hear today ?"

Zhongli is content. Content with watching you from afar, and content with the time he has spent with you in the past.

He has lived a long life and he's happy to see more and more vision users get blessed with your presence, even when he himself isn't included.

He'd probably invite the traveler to Liyue and ask them to do more quests for him instead.

That way he can still greet you once every while.

Has tried to send you osmanthus wine as his birthday offering multiple times but each time it seems to get rejected. Do you really prefer flowers nowadays?

Ei has been alone for what seems forever now. She wasn't the original electro Archon, so she understands. But still.

She wishes she could talk to you just once.

You could be the only person who understands her pain, the only person she could talk with about the past, the only person she can be weak around.

But that's not how people are blessed.

Only the strongest of the vision users catch your gaze, and thus she'll have to become stronger until one day she can hear your laughter wash away her sorrows.

Nahida is a dreamer. She has all the knowledge of the world but she still wants to learn how to 'walk' amongst the people as you do.

Whenever she sees a "blessed one" run by, she smiles.

She wonders how you're doing and hopes she can one day ask you herself.

You're registered in Irminsul, but not in the same way as everyone else. A lot of information is missing and the tree of knowledge really makes you seem like a deity that's out of reach for anyone.

Still, Nahida is a dreamer.

And each night she dreams that she'll be blessed.

Jean

You know Jean is very busy lady. Yet she always tries to make time for you. Sometimes you even have to drag her out of her office and make her relax. Jean, you find, is easily flustered when you play with her hair or rub her shoulders. Those actions make her feel relaxed but you being her girlfriend makes it feel more intimate in her eyes

Eula

Even before started dating, you thought Eula was a tough nut to crack. To you, she seemed so serious and levelheaded about everything. You found after you started dating that she’s flustered by the small things like holding hands and even words of affirmation and small complaints you’d shoot off every so often and she gets very shy when she is with you.

You were just some adventurer that had the luck of meeting and starting a relationship with The Raiden Shogun. You were surprised that she actually said yes and with that you got to know Ei rather than the Raiden Shougun. You found that she gets flustered/frustrated whenever you make fun of her because she doesn’t know how to cook just light teasing and jokes here and there, nothing too mean yet she does throw a wooden spoon at you in retaliation when she’s had enough. You’ve brought out a soft side to the Archon.

Ningguang

Miss Ningguang, quite the business lady in your eyes. The two of you friends for the most part meeting through Ganyu. You liked her company and she liked yours. When you asked her about making your relationship into something more, she froze and asked if you were being serious. This, of course, confused you and once you said no. She flushed red then agreed to be your partner.

Beidou

Captain Beidou is easily flustered when drunk, you noticed many times when the two of would drink together with her crew. Otherwise she the one making you flustered. But Drunk Beidou can’t take too many compliments from you or she’ll malfunction. But something that you don’t know, she remembers what you say and teases you about it the next day. There’s no end to your little loving war.
