This is the third prototype of my Ankylosaurus print-in-place model! I am thrilled with how it's turning out! And she now has leggies! Let me know what you think 🤔 is there any way to improve this design?
I ran out of filament on this print so she now has a cool window into her back showing the ball joints inside her belly, it's really cool and totally intended.
Unicorns live even after death!
Meet our next Halloween design - Skeleton Unicorn.
It's a print-in-place toy, it has articulated legs and a moveable head. The unicorn is available as a STL file that you can print at home with your FDM or Resin 3d printer.
The toy design by Svetlana Germanova (the Happy Flexi pets project)

People are out there using 3D printing for all kinds of revolutionary stuff and I’m frantically searching Thingiverse for the dumbest shit imaginable to print in three dimensions.
daily gentle reminder that the words we use to describe ourselves are labels. they're not immutable states of being, they're not all-encompassing, they're not permanent, they're not universal; labels are just words that we use to indicate something about our experience that we find important enough to communicate to others. if your experience with attraction is significantly different enough from a typical allo experience then aspec labels are there for you to use as long as you want them; and conversely, what aspec labels communicate is just that someone's experience is aligned enough with what we describe as aromanticism/asexuality to warrant telling people about it. you never need a label, you never need to keep a label, you never need to justify a label, and you never need to use a label for anything besides what you want it for. it's not a contract. it's an adjective that you can choose to use or not to use. all it needs to do is be useful for you. 💚🖤
I'm thinking abt that pretty fall leaves embroidery pattern post and about how like... it is categorically a repost, it's a reupload. right? a thing that is generally disliked. but because it's credited, it's genuinely boosting the artist in question.
and it could ALWAYS be like this. reposting content could ALWAYS be a symbiotic relationship, but because sourcing back to the original creator of something is so uncommon, it's just easier to ask people not to repost it at all. and people still don't understand the difference. or they'll go to the effort of cropping out usernames/signatures to repost something, which is More Effort than literally crediting the creator of something you liked enough to want to repost.
Like. I literally don't actually care if my own shit gets reposted, you have to understand. I just don't want it STOLEN. But "do not repost" is easier to write on my art than "you can repost this, but don't alter the image/remove my signature, don't you dare write 'credit goes to the artist' because that is not credit, please link back to my original post or someplace that you can actually find me. please use an actual link/url instead of writing a non-clickable link of my username, because making it text instead of a clickable link cuts the number of people who will go to the effort of visiting my own page in Half."
All those aggregate themed accounts, those fuckin annoying as hell instagrams and facebook groups that are like "body positive art we love wamen 💕 hashtag feminism" and then MASS-STEAL plus sized art created by women, if pages like these that always go and steal my older self-portraits and other works... If they just put a link to my prints of those pieces in the text of those posts, or, fuck, my commission info page? I would literally be living on the moon right now. I would have a house on the moon
New weekend twofer scribbles while I continue the merch design grind. Was going to be nice and cram the images next to each other to save space but decided these are too nice and I will instead hog space on your dash. You're welcome.
First one came to my sleep-deprived brain during one of my 10-hr days at the office earlier this week. Forever obsessed with dinluke + intimacy I can't help it.
Second one came at me like a hurricane after seeing this post and arguing with myself because it unlocked something fucking feral in my sleep-deprived brain. Yes, we love all the Darksaber stuff but hand-to-hand combat? Learning how to make, take, and roll with the punches? Bodying each other into the nearest solid surface? Hells yeah.
My final Ankylosaurus print-in-place model is complete, I think. She can stand and sit, she has good range of movement in her tail, legs, and body.
This whole project has got my brain buzzing on what the next Dinosaur to make. This could be a Stegosaurus or a triceratops. If you have a neat recommendation list it! I could make it next!
If you would like to see a video on how I make the next one too 😉 let me know if you are interested.
