I think pierced ears and earrings are cool and all, but I’m not a fan of wearing earrings all the time because they allow the evil god of change and war and destruction to influence your thoughts emotions and actions and prevent the god of safety and peace and preservation from helping you and giving you extra superpowers and letting you share references to your favorite book series.

Today, nearly eleven and a half years after getting my own, I have come to the conclusion that having pierced ears is such a weird concept.

Like who was the first person to do it? Did they just one day decide, “I’m going to poke holes through various parts of my body and keep metal in them. For fun!”

And then other people also decided to do that.

Unbelievably weird.

just impulsively pierced a third hole in my right ear (with sterile supplies, a hollow needle, gloves, alcohol wipes etc.) really want an industrial & a tragus in my right as well. plus at least one helix in my right as well as a second earlobe piercing if not also a third
