Then I watched The Untamed and Word of Honor.

In spite of my no shipping policy I just fell for wang yibo and xiao zhan. Then I searched and found what XZ had to go through. I am sure it would have been difficult for WY as well.

I know it's all about good chemistry between the actors and surely good acting etc.

My question is why people go crazy ????

Nope. Not a shipper at all. Certainly not of real humans. I find it pretty scary and somewhat repulsive. I'm kinda disgusted by fan service whether it's from individuals, branded pairs, or Kpop groups.

I understand why it's being done but I don't enjoy any part of it.

this is to all aroace/aspec kpop stans because im curious if anyone feels similar to me!

there's the thing. in kpop the standard is that the kpop idols don't date, or at least they don't share it publicly. i always found it wild that kpop stans get mad at their idols when it's revealed they're in a relationship (i think it's not as bad in the international fandom but it still happens) because like, why? they're normal people and they should be free to date anyone they want. but i also have it a thought and wondered how i would react if i found out my favourite idols are dating someone and realised i would be probably a bit upset. and it's not because they're in a relationship and i'm jealous because i feel like the idol belongs to me. i've realised that most of my biases etc are my biases mainly because i feel like they're similar to me, so the fact that they officially don't date only makes me feel even a stronger connection.

yeah, i know it's bad for me to think like this. i'm probably no better than the fans who get jealous and think the idol belongs to them. thankfully i'm slowly starting to change my way of thinking, but i was still curious whether there are people who feel/felt the same once.

I'm honestly I'm not ever close to gaylors anymore I think she is the worst kind of ally and she use queer imaginary to keep us talking bout her. Let me give you and advice, make the exercise to try to stop the parasocial relationship you had with you fav. It's not healthy.

You can love an artist knowing theyre the worst, you can love an artist without project yourself on them.

Maybe you will be less angry all the time for the stupidest shit ever and your life will be a little more positive :)

I wrote this last night when I should have been sleeping and the english language is not my strongest point clearly but this is a little rant post a big and long rant about anti Gaylor, not an anti Gaylor post. I fully understand why gaylors are even if I'm not entirely sure anymore, not because I think they're deluded, it's because I don't think Taylor is a good person. I don't think she is evil, people are complex, and are more gray than anything. All the things I said about how Taylor is not your bestie are about how you all should be stop be angry in her behalf when someone think she may be queer because its the narrative she is pushing, real or as a marketing strategy.

Why did nobody tell me that parasocial relationships can be as painful as real relationships. (rhetorical question.. I know it’s a fishy deal)

I didn’t sign up for this when I thought I could indulge in this silly thing for a little while during the time the world is on fire. Like three of my big favs are / were suffering since the past year and it sucks having to witness it while not being able to do anything, except hoping they get help and trying to keep fandoms and social media in check. Tho I am still definitely not planning to leave, I am in too deep now knowing these lovely people exist on this planet .-.

I say as if I was a super active, obsessive fan. Which I am not, I just follow peoples careers and cheer for them, enjoy their success and happiness. I try to still keep some emotional platonic distance (which I highly recommend for some folks as well...) and I am glad I am not THAT deep into this game, but it’s still painful.

I’ve been aspec for a while and have considered myself aspec for a while, but recently I’ve almost got a serious celebrity crush on a singer I like. I’ve never quite felt this way about anyone and it’s lowkey scary, especially when it’s someone untouchable. But maybe the untouchability is what makes me fall so hard, since I don’t think I could ever reciprocate or want to have someone like me in that way. But I don’t know, I really don’t know my self anymore. Embarrassing that this is because of a celebrity crush.
