The Eternal Dove Brooch
On 5th December, 2012 The British Jewellers’ Association presented a spectacular platinum and diamond brooch to Her Majesty The Queen as a gift of celebrate her Diamond Jubilee.
The design is entitled ‘The Eternal Dove’, and is loosely based on the ‘Sceptre with Dove’, an item in the Crown Jewels which was made for the Coronation of King Charles 11 in 1661.
Ivonna’s dove, which is in flight, also encompasses the four flowers of the United Kingdom which are depicted in rare gold from around the UK and natural coloured diamonds within its wings.

PINK TOPAZ AND SAPPHIRE PENDANT
The necklace that Camilla wore at the ballet, however, was even more intriguing. The piece featured a pendant with a diamond ribbon, from which two clusters (one set with diamonds and a pink topaz, and the other set with diamonds and a blue sapphire) were suspended. Royal reporter Rebecca English wrote that the necklace “belonged to the late Queen.”
~ The Court Jeweller
The necklace was photographed worn by Princess Elizabeth of York when she was 8 years old in 1934.
