James: Lily! There's a BIG problem!

Lily: What happened?!

Panda: Someone kidnapped the kids.

Lily: What?! WHO??

James: We're not sure. We went to pick them up from school, yk and the teacher told us that someone picked them up a few hours ago!

Lily: Wait - It wasn't me, or any of you, or Reggie, cause he's been here the whole day... *grabs the phone* Hello Mary, did pick up the kids early today?

Mary: No, why? Are they missing???

Lily: Yes

Mary *to Sirius* take my shift, my kids are missing* to Lily* I'll be there in five

Lily: Mary will be here soon. But ab the kids, this was probably one of our friends...

Reg*coming out of the kitchen* What's going on?

James*explains everything*

Reg: Shit, do you know if it was some of our friends, Idk, kinda sounds like Sirius

Mary*who already arrived* No, they were at the bar with me all day.

Panda*has a realization* Oh, they're dead for this *grabs the phone* Evan Rosalius Rosier!!!

James *whispers to Reg* his middle name is Rosalius?

Panda: Harry and Luna better will be here in 10 minutes and you two have some good explanation!

Ten minutes later

Evan and Barty*a bit scared*

Harry and Luna*happy kids*

Lily: Oh Merlin, I'm so glad that you're ok.

Regulus: And YOU! What were you thinking?! To take away OUR kids without telling us a WORD!!!

James: Where did you even go?

Harry: Cheeseburgers!😁😁😁

Barty: Kids eat for free at McDonald's today, so we kinda let them buy us shit.

After that, Barty and Evan were yelled at by all of them for 20 minutes each parent and weren't allowed to pick up the kids from school anymore.

Forgotten & Pandalily (thank you lovely @lowexpectationscentral)

Lily perks up, hearing the front door open and close. She’s sitting at the kitchen island, nursing a cup of tea and going over James’ manuscript. Pandora walks in and shrugs her coat off, hanging it up.

“Hello love.” Lily calls over.

Pandora smiles and makes her way over, navigating over children's toys. “Hey sweetheart.”

Pandora presses a kiss to the top of Lily’s head, who whines when she moves away.

“Come back.” Lily reaches out and pulls Pandora towards her by the arm. Pandora giggles and peppers Lily’s face with more kisses.

“Where’s Luna?” Lily asks through laughter of her own.

Pandora pulls away, frowning. “I thought you were picking her up today?”

Lily’s heart skips a beat. “What? No. I thought you were.”

Pandora groans and buries her face in her hands. “We’ve forgotten our daughter at daycare. We’re horrible mums.”

“Holy fucking shit.” Lily stands and runs over to the front door, snatching the car keys off of the table as she goes.

Lily had long given up on sleeping in.

During the war, she felt like all she did was sleep most days. The exhaustion of being pregnant with Harry and never knowing where, when, or with who she’d be safe then had left her in a constant state of fatigue. There were days when even the idea of leaving the bed to go to the bathroom had felt like an insurmountable task.

The war had ended with Peter, and his quick thinking. He’d brought Voldemort to their home, but he hadn’t left them unprepared. Lily wasn’t ashamed in saying she was the one who unleashed the curse that ended the war that night. A muggleborn ending the war of blood supremacy hadn’t exactly gone over with a parade, but she couldn’t complain compared to how life had changed.

Mornings had gone from tense, quiet affairs waiting for the post to being filled with insane breakfasts and stories narrated in funny voices. The end and the beginning all came down to her, her family, and their refusal to give up at all costs.

Looking through the kitchen window at where Luna and Pandora were hunting in the back garden for nargels, Lily couldn’t find herself to regret it.

Their home wasn’t the largest, and it surely wasn’t how most wizarding families chose to decorate. Little drawings Luna and Harry had done hung everywhere on the largest wall of the sitting room, in full view for their guests when they had tea. There were books everywhere, a small cauldron of Wolfsbane being brewed for Remus, toys on every possible surface. There were no enchanted portraits, but there were pictures of their loved ones hung everywhere, filling their home with as much love as they could.

James would be dropping Harry off for her week soon, and Lily couldn’t wait. They had an outing planned to take the kids out to pick out a kneazel kitten, and everything felt right in the world finally.

Lily waved her wand, enchanting the tray of drinks to float out in front of her as she headed outside.

“Mama!” Luna yelled as soon as Lily crossed the threshold, running at her full force. Lily bent down just in time to grab the four year old launching herself into her arms.

“La Lune, baby, what are you and Mummy doing?” She asked with a smile.

Luna’s face scrunched up slightly on her nose. “It’s a secret.”

“Well, good for you, little love, that I am an excellent secret keeper.”

Luna let out a little laugh, then leaned in close to whisper in her ear.

“Mummy asked me to help pick out all the prettiest flowers so she could give them to you. But I can’t ‘cause you’re the prettiest flower! I don’t know what to do,” the little one whined, and Lily couldn’t help but grin.

“Maybe we can pick them out together? That way Mummy and I can both give each other flowers?”

Luna looked like she was thinking it over hard for a moment before nodding. She grabbed Lily’s hand and tried with all her tiny strength to pull her toward the butterfly bushes first, saying they were her favorite.

The early morning sun shone brightly on their little family that weekend, and Lily couldn’t even find herself missing wanting to sleep in anymore.

soooo can someone explain to me WHY the fuck did we kept Ted as wolfstar’s kid’s name bc I like it’s a really cute name but it doesn’t makes sense to me

bc ok Harry as jegulus or even rosestarkillerchaser kid awesome and the name Harry as nothing specific to do w/ lily so it’s alright and it’s cute

luna as pandalily same nothing special to Xenophilius….. I think, tell me if I’m wrong tho

Luna (8 y/o) was bullied in a Muggle primary school.

Harry *comes into the living room*: Moms, dads, auntie Panda, there's a problem.

Lily *concerned* : What? Did you accidentally teleported someone onto the roof again?

Harry: No, but I wish I could teleport them into trash. They make fun of Luna!

James: Who? What happened?

Harry: Luna and I were sitting outside, during the break and those kids from her class came closer and started laughing and pointing fingers at us. Luna had these funny glasses on and they just took them. And then I tried to take them back, and we got in a fight, and I'm fine, but the glasses... *takes out glasses, broken in a half* Luna was veeery sad.

Reg: Where is she now?

Harry: In her room. She's been crying...

Pandora: I'll go cheer her up a bit. *Leaves*

James: Did you tell the teacher?

Harry: Yes, but she said, that the glasses were weird and inappropriate, and it's a lesson for Luna to be more normal...

Mary: *in disbelief*: She did what?! *Gets up and grabs the keys* We're going to school RIGHT NOW!

Reg: YES, James - watch the kids!

In the dumbass teacher's office:

Aggressive knocking.

Lily*mean, but calm voice* Hello, we came here to talk about our daughter, Luna.

Mrs. XYZ: Who are the parents exactly?

Pandora & Lily: us

Mrs. XYZ *concerned* : I meant the parents. I suppose one of you is her mother, but who is the father?

Pandora: Her other parent is at work, and Luna has two moms.

Mrs. XYZ *mumbles* well, that explains a lot...

Reg: We came here to talk about what happened today. Harry said, that some stupid kids were making fun of Luna and then broke her glasses, is that true?

Mrs XYZ: These glasses were very strange. Not surprising children would laugh at them.

Mary: Yes, but you are a teacher. You should've done something, for fucks sake!

Mrs XYZ: Could you please control your...

Lily: Wife

Mrs XYZ: Nothing wrong happened. Luna was wearing inappropriate glasses and she faced consequences.

Panda: I can't believe it. You're taking their side?

Mrs XYZ: Yes, besides they are just kids having fun.

Mary: YOU...

Lily *putting a hand on her shoulder* : There's no point. We'll talk to the principal tomorrow.

Harry & Luna Headcanons

Harry is 1 year and 1 month older than Luna

He calls her “Loons” or “Na-na”

She calls him “Haz” or “Bunny”

They both know 9 languages (Urdu, English, Spanish, French, mandarin, welsh, Dutch, Filipino Italian)

Everyone thinks Luna is the innocent & sweet one but it’s actually Harry

They grew up with Theo, Blaise, Neville and occasionally saw Draco and the Weasley’s

When they miss home they go into the kitchens and bake Effie’s chocolate chip cookies

They both stan Taylor Swift and have mini concerts in either of their rooms

They can both sew (Harry prefers embroidery though)

At the Potter residence their rooms are across the hall and at the Lovegood residence they’re next to each other

Harry starts fights with anyone who calls her “Loony”

They study together sometimes

They still hang out with the kids they grew up with at school (occasionally)
