At the end of the day, Crawley was a mercurial creature he just couldn't quite understand.

And right now, that mercurial creature was stripping from his clothes the human way, in front of him, to Aziraphale's horror. His long robes were already gone, and it was pretty obvious the next garment to leave his body would be his short-sleeved shirt, leaving nothing left to the imagination from the waist up after that. He hadn’t removed his undershirt in front of the former angel yet, this was all new territory. This was far more than preparing to sleep.

Crawley looked at him over his shoulder as he divested from his usual attire to change into the more luxurious clothes he’d just created out of thin air for himself. “What?”

“You, um. Er.” Aziraphale awkwardly pointed at the naked shoulder of the demon.

Day 16 prompt: They like holding hands

I've been terribly artblocked for months (heavy life shit going down) but the new s2 poster is so thrilling I got the gumption to finally finish this

Did they or didn't they hold hands in the bus? What does a slow-motion, zoomed-in, brightness and contrast up video can tell us about it? (I apologize for the size of the video, I tried to optimize more and at some point it was giving me larger files. Have some stills in the meantime)

Crowley holds the horizontal bar as he is sitting, but then he lets go of it. As his hand is retreating, Aziraphale's hand is on track to intercept it. Crowley's hand should end up by his side or on his thigh when he is seated. When Aziraphale's is sitting, his elbow is bent outwards which would put his arm on Crowley's personal space

So, did they hold hands or not? I would say the video evidence is inconclusive, but it is fun! By the way, the woman sitting sideways in the first picture dressed in the same colors as Aziraphale; is she an angel in disguise? Or just a random human with similar taste?

Can we talk about how we definitely don’t give the Magnus Chase books enough credit? Like these books are such a beautiful depiction of coming to terms with grief and finding purpose in new relationships. Magnus’ struggle to accept his mother’s death and his guilt over it culminating in a beautiful moment where he feels her love and presence with and for him in his battle with Surt. The horrific despair he feels whenever someone around him is hurt, literally moving him to tears every time, even when it’s Gunilla, someone who has been actively hunting him. The line about how they are all empty cups, but that they can share each other’s burdens instead of filling themselves with pain. Just the beautiful bonds these characters who have each been isolated in their own way have formed with each other. How each of these characters have every right to be bitter and spiteful as a result of the tragedy in their lives, but choose love and each other at every turn.

I’m still not over this “former demon” thing. I mean, what does it MEAN. Is demon a job description? Can he choose not to be a demon? What about Aziraphale? He seems to think he’s still an angel, right? Even if he doesn’t work for heaven. And Crowley still calls him angel (also for endearment purposes probably, but still).

Or does Crowley just say it for Shax’s benefit. Not a demon anymore as in holy water can’t hurt me. (“He isn’t one of us anymore”)

Crowley doesn’t want to be a demon right? He never wanted to be. Does he just choose not to be? Like the same way he chose a new name?

He isn’t one of the bad guys. He didn’t want to be before, but he had to pretend at least (“I go along with hell as far as I can”). Now he just is his own thing. Not a demon. Not an angel. Crowley.

In my experience a lot of the shit trans men get from within the queer community comes down to ignoring half of our identity in favor of the other half

Either were men and therefore are basically the same as cis men

Or were trans so they'll use gender neutral/ inclusive language while still reducing us to our sex assigned at birth
