Chapters: 3/? Fandom: Good Omens (TV), Good Omens - Neil Gaiman & Terry Pratchett Rating: Explicit Warnings: No Archive Warnings Apply Relationships: Aziraphale/Crowley (Good Omens) Summary:
God was watching when Aziraphale ate the ox rib. When he conspired against Her and tricked her angels. When he lied to Heaven.
And falling should be bad, the worst thing to ever happen to him. Except that it's not. Crawley seems to want nothing but to protect him from Hell, to keep him close as he learns the ropes of being a demon assigned to Earth.
Maybe a side of their own is not such a bad and lonely thing after all.
-----
At the end of the day, Crawley was a mercurial creature he just couldn't quite understand.
And right now, that mercurial creature was stripping from his clothes the human way, in front of him, to Aziraphale's horror. His long robes were already gone, and it was pretty obvious the next garment to leave his body would be his short-sleeved shirt, leaving nothing left to the imagination from the waist up after that. He hadn’t removed his undershirt in front of the former angel yet, this was all new territory. This was far more than preparing to sleep.
Crawley looked at him over his shoulder as he divested from his usual attire to change into the more luxurious clothes he’d just created out of thin air for himself. “What?”
“You, um. Er.” Aziraphale awkwardly pointed at the naked shoulder of the demon.

Aziraphale may be the one chained to the wall, but Crowley is not the one in charge.
—– “I’m afraid you’ll have to tell me what you want from me, dear boy.”
“Oh, I think it’s quite clear, angel.” Crowley gritted his teeth.
“Oh no, this innocent damsel in distress has no idea what you may want from her.”
“I can’t keep time frozen eternally, you know.”
“And my knees can’t stand this eternally either.” Aziraphale sighed, shaking his head with a sorrowful expression.

Finally done! after months of posting chapter after chapter, this fic is complete!
Chapters: 31/31 Fandom: Good Omens (TV), Good Omens - Neil Gaiman & Terry Pratchett Rating: Explicit
Warnings: No Archive Warnings Apply
Relationships: Aziraphale/Crowley (Good Omens), Beelzebub/Gabriel (Good Omens), Maggie/Nina (Good Omens)
Additional Tags: Mutual Pining, Light Angst, Fluff, rebellion against heaven, Developing Friendships, Character Growth, Ineffable Idiots (Good Omens), Post Season 2, a whole season 3, plot heavy, demolishing the system, Nina’s shop, Slow Burn, Aziraphale is “just enough of a bastard to be worth knowing” (Good Omens), Nice Crowley (Good Omens), Getting Together, finding common ground, Our Side, Denial of Feelings, Emotional Hurt/Comfort, Feelings Realization, Post-Canon Fix-It, Heartwarming, Getting Back Together, Eventual Smut, smut with feelings, Slow Build Summary:
A hurt Crowley hangs around Maggie and Nina, slowly healing and trying to find a meaning to his life, while Aziraphale deals with Heaven, trying to avoid the end of the world while keeping everybody he cares about safe. But they’ve never achieved anything when apart from each other, so the only way to stop the Second Coming will be to talk through their issues, fix their relationship, and get some allies. A reluctant Messiah, some supernatural beings not so happy with the destruction dance Heaven and Hell seem to be engaged on, and a pair of humans that wonder time and again why the hell did they help save a bookshop.
Unexpected allies, spy games and conspiracies, while Nina’s shop gets an influx of occult forces in desperate need of coffee.
—– “Are you sober enough to talk?” Nina asked. She’d worked in hostile places enough times to be able to kick him out of the shop if he was too drunk to behave. Demon be damned, she’d give him hell if he caught fire inside her establishment.
“Oh, that depends. Forming words? Sure. I can talk about whales for hours if you need me to. Big brains, whales. An ocean full of brains. Damn big brains.” He slurred the words as he stretched his arms.
“About him. About what happened.” Maggie said, sitting at his side and patting his hand. “We saw him leave.”
“Oh, no, that’s the point of this”, he vaguely gestured at the table, full of espressos that didn’t look like coffee anymore, but rather something viscous with a smell reminiscent of bleach, “isn’t it?”
“Well, can you make yourself sober?” Nina asked impatiently.
“Well, yes. Not tha’ drunk to forget how to miracle.” It was obvious he was rolling his eyes, even if he had his sunglasses on. Nina just stared at him until it dawned on him. “Oh, you meant it as in doing it now. No. Not a damn chance.”
“Crowley, you can’t drink yourself to death.” Maggie insisted.
“Course I can’t. I'ma demon. Lots of endurance, me.”

I'm gonna sound very old person yells at cloud but I don't care, I feel like I need to say this. We all (well most of us) know that messaging Neil with any headcanons/theories/wishes/hopes/dreams to do with the show is a no-go because it could potentially compromise the story he wants to tell or ends up telling. And yes, he is a grown up who chooses what to respond to etc and I think it's wonderful he engages with fans and answers a lot of lovely and interesting questions about his process, writing and journey etc.
However, there is another reason not to send theories and ideas about how the show should go to the show creator in the hope of a response: it doesn't matter. It doesn't matter whether a theory is correct, or a speculation may or may not play out. That is why fandom exists.
Online fandom is where we all come together to yell and cry and throw around weird-ass ideas and theories and look at art and read fanfic and unite in our love of characters and a show. A huge part of being in fandom, is the way fandom theories become like an understood little bit of fanon lore that some people attach to, others disregard. But it doesn't matter. And part of the fun of fandom, is when a new season or a new episode of the show comes out, you have this collective catalogue of ideas and theories and headcanons and you get to yell and scream, "omg it happened1" or "lol that that thing was ever talked about" or "thank god that theory didn't come to pass".
Wanting to know now (not that we ever will) and not wanting to wait until the next season to find out the answers diminishes the fandom experience. I cannot stress enough how much we are in the absolute peak of the fandom experience right now. The between seasons time is the ultimate time to be a part of a fandom (as I'm sure many people are well aware), knowing there's another season coming energises everyone to create and connect and speculate and it's glorious! I know it feels like it'll be like this forever, but it won't. Next season is the last and yes, there will be a flurry and uptick of all the energy and excitement once again, and I absolutely believe Good Omens fandom will live on and remain active and thrumming. But there won't be theories and what ifs and hunting for clues for the next season, and over time it will dwindle a little and plateau and some people will fall into other fandoms, and while it will probably bubble away, there won't be the anticipation that sits with us now.
My point is, fandom is where we get to throw around ideas and flail and be ridiculous and also serious sometimes, but it's all for us. For the fans. Showing Neil theories or getting in a flap about a particular speculation and asking if x, y, or z might happen isn't just about putting the creator in an awkward spot, it takes away what fandom is about. Just let this time be ours. If you haven't been in fandom before, enjoy it! Don't be in a hurry to seek definitive answers or know things either way.
It doesn't matter if any or none or all of the things that float around end up being correct or incorrect. Fandom isn't about being right. It's about being a part of a community and being able to share ideas and it's about it being FUN.
So TL;DR Stop sending Neil fan ideas because that is for fandom, not for the creator.

Love how tumblr has its own folk stories. Yeah the God of Arepo we’ve all heard the story and we all still cry about it. Yeah that one about the woman locked up for centuries finally getting free. That one about the witch who would marry anyone who could get her house key from her cat and it’s revealed she IS the cat after the narrator befriends the cat.

Quark and Odo regularly appear together in interview shots, where they bicker about today's events.
Every episode has a montage of every time Miles hurt himself.
Garak answers questions with monologues which are undercut by clips showing he's lying about all of it.

Chapters: 15/42
Fandom: Good Omens (TV), Good Omens - Neil Gaiman & Terry Pratchett Rating: Explicit Warnings: No Archive Warnings Apply Relationships: Aziraphale/Crowley (Good Omens) Summary:
Heaven is so high up that once you’re there, Aziraphale realizes the only way out is to fall.
In an attempt to stop the apocalypse once more, he steals the Book of Life and Jesus’s soul, placing him back on Earth as Adam’s brother. Now suspended somewhere between falling and fallen, Aziraphale needs help from the only one he can trust to navigate his new life. The same demon he rejected a lifetime ago.
Despite how they parted, Crowley can't turn his back on the aching angel, working through his pain and heartache as they slowly inch towards one another, acting on millennia of bottled-up feelings and desire.
The only problem? Adam’s powers are still alive, and he wants everybody to have their “happy ever after” in his town.
Or else.
-----
On Wednesdays, the Fell family usually babysat Jude.
The boy now looked like he was 6, and was every bit the charming and innocent, perfect angel when he was with Aziraphale. He was a tiny little devil when he was with Crowley. And they both were realising being the cool uncles (and sometimes auntie, in Crowley’s case), was far better than being nanny and gardener. It felt closer. It was like having the family no occult force had ever been allowed to have.
“Here comes the Jude plaaaaane!” Crowley shouted with his arms stretched, making turbine noises as the kid laughed riding on his back, hovering close to Aziraphale. They both had the same never ending, chaotic energy, and the house looked like a tornado had invaded it once the kid left. “He’s looking for a good place to land! And he sees a white and feathery mountain! Oh! The perfect spot! Aaaand here the plane cooooomes!”
And suddenly the angel was smothered between a demon and a kid, laughing and covering him with kisses as he tried to salvage his knitting.
“Crowley! My sweater!” He laughed, both his cheeks being pressed as they laughed and hugged him.
“Come on, angel, we’re more important than your sweater!”
“But it’s for you!”
Crowley looked at the monstrosity. Even for a colorblind snake, it was obvious those colours didn't match. He crossed stares with the kid. “Even more the reason to stop you then! Jude, attack! Use the tickle move I taught you!”

Chapters: 29/32 Fandom: X-Men - All Media Types, X-Men (Movieverse), X-Men (Comicverse), X-Men: First Class (Comics), Marvel Cinematic Universe, Captain America (Movies), Agent Carter (TV) Relationships: Erik Lehnsherr/Charles Xavier, James "Bucky" Barnes/Steve Rogers
Additional Tags: Alternate Universe, Post WW2, Teen Angst, Psychological Trauma, Experimentation, Friendship, Judaism, long story, plot heavy, Hurt/Comfort, Emotional Hurt/Comfort, Emotional Baggage, Period Typical Attitudes, Discovering Powers, Growing Up, Slow Burn, Some dark themes, a lot of Yiddish, Emotional/Psychological Abuse, Raven is emotionally smart, Charles is academically smart, Erik is street smart, Together they are a semi functioning braincell, Erik is just Illegal, Period Typical Bigotry
  Summary:
The year is 1949. A young Charles Xavier begs Peggy Carter to save his sister's life, and soon he finds himself trapped inside a secret base with a boy who can manipulate metal and insists that they both have powers.
A very well documented story about growing up, trauma, found family, defying societal norms, and changing the world.   --------------
“I’m not really excited about having them see me go through the hallway. You can see their stares. I can hear them.”
“Whose? The younger children don’t see a difference. The older ones … the longer you stay in here, the worse those thoughts will get. The more they’ll think this is wrong, for you to have to hide. We are here to educate, aren’t we?”
“I never asked to have to teach this.”
“But you will, now. And you’re going to have to live with it. We all do.” Cecilia said as she met his gaze pointedly.
He pushed his chair a few more steps. “Pretty ironic, isn’t it? I’ve been working towards making the world a more accepting and just place, and yet I find myself excluded from it time and again, as if being punished for my efforts.”
“Ironic, but you’re hardly the first. I’ve spent my whole life fighting for my rights, and then I became a mutant and had a whole new issue to fight for. Hundreds of men and women died just because they looked like me. None of this is new for me, Charles.” Cecilia explained firmly as she took another few steps back from him.
“And here I was thinking you’d pamper me after everything I had to go through.” He was now mere feet from her. A couple more pushes and he’d reach her again. “But you’re much too good for that.”
“Exactly, and you don’t want to be pampered. You want to be challenged.”
“The last person who really challenged me fled even before I regained consciousness.” He muttered as he came to a stop in front of her, finally reaching his goal. “I’m not sure I should keep going for it.”
“I’m not Erik. I’m not going anywhere.” Cecilia promised, her gaze more serious than he’d ever seen it.

----------
Anathema stared at him in silence, lips pursed as the boy ran around, sometimes falling and scratching his knee or hurting his hands, running back to his brother, crying, and asking for it to be fixed, only to then resume his running.
“You know, it’s dangerous to have him know about miracles at such a young age. He may tell someone about it. He's too young to understand.”
“Then I fix it. And that’s it,” Adam shrugged, one eye on his homework, the other on the small boy. It was now autumn, and it was easy to lose Jude inside a pile of orange leaves.
“Sorry?”
“I can fix it. Make people forget.”
“Adam…”
You can fix it. Make it happen .
The voices he’d heard since he was 11 years old were in the back of his head, whispering to him. He could do it. He had the power to fix everything.
Adam closed his book, something red shining in his eyes as he snapped. “Look, I was told to protect him, alright? And that’s what I’m doing. If someone sees something weird, I make them forget. If I make everybody happy, I keep my brother safe, and the world too. It’s not like when I was 11 and got my powers. I’m in control of everything.”
“That’s what worries me. You controlling everything.”

Chapters: 2/? Fandom: Good Omens (TV), Good Omens - Neil Gaiman & Terry Pratchett Rating: Explicit When they’d been told to go forth and reproduce, the humans had really paid attention, Aziraphale decided, looking at how crowded the market was. Under the rays of the sun, listening to their chatter, he could almost forget for a moment that this was his life now. That it was a punishment rather than just another assignment.
It could be worse, he thought. He could have been dragged to Hell for real. The redhead demon could have just let him go there, making him someone else’s problem. What was it with Crawley and defying every single rule? Why was he protecting him?
Whatever the reason for that was, Aziraphale found himself wishing Crawley would never stop being himself.
“So, what do we do here?” Aziraphale nervously asked the demon.
“Mm? Oh, I was thinking petty theft.”
“You what ?”
“Y’know, just enough to keep them happy downstairs,” Crawley flashed an amused smile, “so that they don’t come to bug us. You make some people angry, send some reports back home ‘bout it, everybody is happy.”
“Except those you bugged up here.”
“Ah, but isn’t that the point of it?” Continue reading here:
