“Mister please… you have to help her!” The child clings to Sanemi with tears in her eyes. “She’s a nice demon. She protects us and right now they’re going to kill her and my big brother! You have to help them!”

Elsewhere Loni heaved as she dashed through the forest. Behind her she could sense at least four demons hot on her tail. With a grunt she forced her limbs to put more strength into each movement, catapulting her into the sky. When she came to a stop she was in a clearing. Now in the light it was clear to see why she was so desperate to run. In her arms was a small boy clinging to her.

WAXING CRESCENT is in full bloom, but FIRST QUARTER was still a ways away. Can I hold out and keep him safe till then? “You won’t touch those humans… I won’t let you!” The demon readies herself, fully prepared for a fight, but then… “Fuck-!” Eyes widen when she feels a presence, and this was one she knew was bad news. “Goddamnit… I can’t run now! Jun, get behind me. Whatever you do don’t leave my sight. I’ll make sure you don’t get hurt, okay? And if someone shows up and tries to hurt me it’s okay. You go with them if I have to leave. You’ll be safe with them!”

A tearful child, begging for him to help a demon, what the actual fuck. Sanemi's eyes widened, the veins on his forehead visible and eyes bloodshot. Was it one of the demons he briefly noticed before he came here? The whole situation was confusing, messed up, if he had anything to say about it. Help a demon? Him? Hah, funny. The only reason he hadn't ran off and killed them all in a second, was because the child got on his way, and he had to be careful to unlatch the child. A child he snarled at as he gently pried the hands off him and shoved the kid to the nearest adult civilians arms nearby.

He didn't give her any promises, those would only hurt her, and if he did, he would be lying. He didn't know what exactly made the child want to save a demon, but he disliked the whole idea. It wasn't the first time a demon had manipulated children into obedience or into false care. Demons were the scum off earth and dirty shit like that was expected.

Within a flash, Sanemi sped off, speed like the wind, the demon's presences came closer and closer. Without hesitation, the second a demon came into his field of vision, his green bladed sword was unsheathed on the run. Low ranked scum again, fucking annoying. The Wind Hashira prepared his first breathing form and in a blinding speed, he dashed through the first two demons as the multiple slashes tore through them both in a cyclone pattern. Not only did their heads fly off in an instant, the bodies were left in multiple pieces.

Two down... More to go, Sanemi stopped in his tracks, violet eyes scanned for the others as his eyes fell upon the female demon holding a human child. Was this one the one the child wanted to save? She had someone behind her, most likely the girls big brother. "Oi oi! You must be that demon bitch! What the fuck did you do to the kids?!" Sanemi yelled out, completely ignoring the other demons who were in the verge of debating if to fight or to run for their lives. Why were there even so many demons? Oh, it didn't matter though, he was gonna slaughter each of them.

"A nice demon my ass, I don't know what kind of blood art you have, but firstly, let the kid go." He demanded.
