That man is far too precious to comprehend. I was certainly not expecting to get a new fav out of that season, that's for sure. And so, he had to go on the tarot project.

Explanation under the cut, for the braves who can bare it!

The Page of Cups is a card all about creativity and intuition- as the Pages often are. The unexpected appearance of the fish, popping out of the cup he holds, signifies that creative inspiration often comes out of the blue and only when you are open to it. What, a Loki person appearing out of nowhere and complaining about time slipping? Wow! You guess time slipping is possible at the TVA. You just have to be ready to accept it.

Therefore, obviously, the fish became a Loki.

(I mean. They can be an alligator. Why not a fish. They became a fish in the myths, after all. Careful with this one: it might stab you. With fish bones.)

Upright, the card suggests a new idea or opportunity has come to you out of the blue. New people, in your workshop! How long has it been? Even more, how long since the last time you left the damn place? Sure, you now have the great opportunity to try and fix an overloading loom, but also to ~make new friends~. How lucky! Your creative energy is flowing, and now the question is how you will express it. Will you snap up this new idea and turn it into something, or will you let someone else bring it to fruition? It is up to you!

The Page of Cups invites you to have an open and curious mind. Be open to anything – including a fish popping its head out of a cup (or a random guy sort of appearing in front of you to tell you that you're not just a failed writer named Doug, but a agent of a time police of some sort named O.B. Sure, makes perfect sens! There is no flaws in that logic). It is with a curious mind that you will discover new aspects of life and yourself. Be ready to dream the impossible dream, and explore the magic of your fullest potential, even if it seems out of reach, because yes, it was a science-fiction problem. The Page of Cups is asking you to embrace your inner child and believe that anything is possible. You can fix anything!!

(but perhaps you should not fix murderous, rogue A.I clock, O.B. Come on. See, she's already looking at you weirdly.)

Reversed, the card may indicate that you tend to work alone. Perhaps you want it that way, feeling better where you can keep your ideas to yourself without having to justify them to other's judgemental stares; perhaps you just go with the flow and assume that's what you're meant to be. Don't let yourself be forgotten in an old basement for centuries: go out, try to reach out, to find other people who are safe to share your ideas with! Don't wait for a random analyst to take the wrong turn and show up for like, five seconds, every four centuries.

With the Page of Cups reversed, you may feel called to pursue a new creative project (hey, by the way, the temporal Loom is going Boom! You will fix it, right?), but you doubt whether you can really make it work. Your inner critic may be on over-drive, and you can feel ashamed to share your work with others. You shouldn't. That lovely Loom Model was perfect and Victor would never have judge you for that. And that little guy in the suit did look like a Mobius, or a Loki, depending on the perspective. Listen your intuition, and your creative mind: if the problem can be solve, then, you will.

If not, just ask your little glowing green fish to become a tree.

And that's it for today! I really hope we'll see more of O.B in the MCU, later on. I would watch anything with that man in it, even the worst movies. In fact, let's put Ke Huy Quan in like- everything. That man is a sunshine and a very talented actor, fr.

The way O.B. just waits for Loki and Mobius to stop bickering instead of intervening or saying something... he knows. He saw them for two minutes and felt very well what was between them.

Loki season 2 Ep.5

(SPOILERS)

This just gonna be a list of things I’m obsessing over in the new episode by order of importance to me (I’m sorry):

GOD. OF. STORIES. Buildup. YES!!! From the episode title to Loki specifically mentioning saving their stories (only other time he mentioned stories to represent a person’s life was in the very first episode of this show I think). I’m way too excited.

Mobius…I’m sorry this will be mainly Lokius based. *Ahem* Mobius a single dad who can’t shut up about being single and the only person he talks about stuff that isn’t just Jet-Ski related is Loki. Everyone else he meets he kinda just stays on topic but Loki; “Hey, stranger who might of followed me from work, want a beer? I’m also a single dad.” And two things I feel like I see differently than a lot of the fandom: a) I don’t think Don (Just remembered that’s his name) has a dead wife. Like, who describes your wife being dead as ‘Long gone’ and immediately tries to pawn off a belonging that you used as a couple? b) People saying the kids act like Loki and Thor which means Mobius represents Odin but…Odin kinda sucked as a dad? And Frigga was a MASSIVE part of raising the kids, so an Odin variant being able to step in is. Unrealistic. Oh and Hela? Hi??? Hela exists. So nah, I think they made it that way the same way they made Thor adopt Love, to fix the mistakes of the past generation with the new ones. Thor is raising Love unlike how his father raised him. Loki could raise the brothers to not have the same issues he had with his own brother, and what they both had issues with when raised together by Odin.

(Last one was long) I think I made a theory a long time ago that Casey/Frank was related to the unsolved case of the guys escaping Alcatraz. Could be wrong, if not, hey one of my theories was right!

O.B. my baby boi was a failed Sci-Fi writer that ended up inspiring the god of stories to save all the stories across the multiverse. He’s secretly the most important writer character in the MCU :’)

B-15 being a nurse makes a lot of sense and explains why she became softer and more focused on helping others after she got her memories back. Her true nature of helping others came back to her, which probably ask explains why she really hate the idea of pruning people again.

I want to talk about Sylvie and all the neat stuff about her…But my Bi brain keeps getting distracted by that scene of her without her jacket…She’s- she’s great here too 👍

Final unimportant thing: Any Doctor who fan get time explanation flashback the moment O.B picked up that mug with pens in it? “I’m a pen in a mug?” “Yes you are, Donna Noble.”

I’m scared for my lil guy Mobius on the timelines all by himself. What if some non-Kang related big bad who has managed to evade the reformed TVA’s watch and wants to control a bunch of timelines puts 2 and 2 together, realises that Möbius was a key player in helping establish Loki at the centre of the Yggdrasil (that Loki cares deeply about Mobius and visa versa) and comes after him in the hopes to oust Loki? Part of me feels like Mobius could handle it but Mobius doesn’t have big scary dog privileges anymore girlies, what with Loki being tangled up at the Citadel and it worries me. Sylvie is a slippery lil sword wielding snake (affectionate) who’s entire childhood WAS self-preservation and survival, she’ll be fine. B15, O.B and Casey are all somewhat afforded better protection from within the TVA but what about Mobius? He’s just a lil mourning retiree trying to make a new life for himself. What if danger finds him? I trust B15 to have some sort of protection and emergency measures in place for him but what if it’s not enough?

Loki's hysterical voice is everything

The bandwidth of the characters. The exquisite, diverse casting. A refreshing take on queerness. The complete absence of (more or less casual) sexism and ableism.

The outstanding performance of both the cast and everybody who contributed, think Natalie Holt's score or the TVA visuals - and by far not limited to these.

The general depth of the storytelling including a wonderful lack of cheesy monogamous romance whilst still allowing for a multitude of intriguing "What ifs... ?" instead of the omnipresent, insultingly dull "together happily ever after".

And, last but not least, rising our most beloved MCU character Loki above and beyond to where he righteously belongs in a bitter-sweet story arch including a thoroughly credible character development unseen before...

Oh, the countless possibilities.

Setting standards redefined. Well played, Marvel. Well played!
