If she tours in 2023, she will tour with TS10. I have no doubt about that. She has too much creativity to not release new music for years and I don't think she will do 2 tours in the upcoming 3 years. It doesn't make sense to tour and then release TS10 afterwards.
It also doesn’t really make sense to release TS10 though and to keep doing the re-records. Like she’s got SO MUCH MUSIC coming out, you know? There are 3 recent new albums + all the vault tracks she’s been releasing. I’m just not sure it’s altogether likely and I feel like some of y’all get amped for an unlikely scenario and then get upset when reality is just reality.
The odds of a 2023 tour are tbh low, whether a Swiftie’s mum thinks that or nah. The odds of TS10 in 2022 or early 2023 also seem extremely low.

gaang + fire nation girls and their opinions on yellowjackets??
okay well i've talked before about how katara suki and ty lee watch yellowjackets together as well as assigning each character their yellowjacket counterpart, so check those posts out too, if you want!
aang: he knows katara loves it, but he can't watch it, he finds it too upsetting and creepy
sokka: he enjoys it but katara can't stand watching it with him because he's always shit like "well if they had just listened to ben they wouldn't be in this mess" or "they should be nicer to nat" and he's killing the vibe -_-
zuko: it gives him nightmares but the good kind so he keeps watching. he's a little bit obsessed with adult shauna and adult misty they are like camp icons to him
toph: appreciates the soundtrack and also sokka's very biased recaps wherein each episodes mostly details what fresh misery his best friends nat and ben (and occasionally simone) have had to endure this time
suki: she loves the aesthetics, the tone, the suspense, the humor, the music, and most of all, the hot babes. i think she is a vangirl and a lottiegirl first and foremost so s2 was a beautiful gift to her. also she'd be lying if she said she hasn't read a fanfic or two
mai: she likes it but she thinks shauna should have, at the very least, kissed jackie's corpse, if not outright fucked it. ear eating was a good start and all, but doing your dead bestie's makeup is honestly not even weirder than what the average mortician does on a daily basis, so kind of disappointing to be honest.
azula: doesn't watch it because any tv show that isn't on hbo is too pedestrian for her refined tastes, but if she did she would be so obsessed with taissa she would be the number one taigirl and she would ship taishauna like her life depended on it!!!!
ty lee: it is one of her favorite tv shows ever because it involves lesbians eating human flesh in a bacchic frenzy and what can be better than that. she's a shaunagirl because she thinks shauna is the most unhinged and therefore the sexiest. she's the type of fan who is constantly coming up with fakakta theories about lore and where the show is gonna go next. if suki can constantly spam the yj groupchat with taivan fucking nasty in the lake 5k words then ty lee is at least allowed to predict that antler queen is actually a literal spirit of the wilderness who is personified by their very faith in the supernatural, right?
katara: a show depicting various women struggling to deal with their trauma in unhealthy unappealing destructive ways, toxic teenage girljocks who take soccer way too seriously, exploring taboos in relation to the colonial assumptions of society vs the constructed bogeyman of "the wilderness" that exists in the white supremacist imagination, and nuances of patriarchy vs relational modes of knowing through both absence and presence is exactly the kind of narrative that katara would be compelled, nay, transfixed by, even if she does have some well-deserved critiques when it comes to the show's execution, especially some of its blindspots when it comes to the issue of racialization. hence why she is the biggest yj head in this house (which is why i saved her for last). like she has a whole side twitter just for yj posting. she loves all her milf children equally, except she might have a teensy bias towards taissa for the simple fact that she is the best at soccer. katara is one of those fans who studies the soccer game in the pilot as a way of gleaning insight regarding the characters, because actually she's a really big nerd when it comes to things like that. she didn't like nat at first because she'd show up drunk to practices and that pissed her off, but then nat shared that strategy with kevyn tan's son and she decided that she was okay. stuff like that. despite the fact that she and suki have gotten into screaming matches debating jackie's sexuality ("i don't understand how you can think she isn't a lesbian how else are you supposed to read her character" "maybe she just kind of ...sucks? ever think of that?????") and also nat's (katara being of the opinion that nat is straight is actually so bravely correct of her, in this instance, despite suki's totally sympathetic objections that if nat is straight then how are she and lottie gonna partake in the milffucking?? hm?????) and also ben's ("no straight man would be carrying all those condoms with him for a weekend work trip" "suki not everyone is gay you can't just assign homosexuality to everyone you think is hot" [...] "okay i stand corrected just this once"), she is extremely emotionally invested in every single one of these characters, and seeing any of them get hurt or die makes her feel physically ill (yes, even laura lee). aang's like "you know, if this show is getting bad for your mental health, you don't have to rewatch every episode five times to pick up on nuances and easter eggs and potential foreshadowing" and katara's like "but if i don't then how will i be able to properly characterize them for my greek mythology AU novel-length fanfic???????" because she is totally normal about the show and everyone can agree on that.

insp from this. had to type this up real quick after seeing it.
shauna shipman would so have one of those broody poet Tumblrs where she posts like original writing and reblogs angsty quotes from like wuthering heights and shit. she has an Instagram and a Twitter but mostly because Jackie made her. all of her Instagram is just posts of Jackieshauna or like books in coffeeshop type vibes. her twitters pretty empty she just replies to her friends posts. she has a tiktok but only so Jackie can send her stuff.
Jackie Taylor queen of Instagram. she'd have a lot of those like layout ones with the 3x3 grids. tons of pictures of jackieshauna or just her alone. she has one picture of her and Jeff from like 3 years ago but that's it. she has a Twitter but it's just to stay up in everybody's business lmao. she follows shauna on Tumblr but that's it. she's super into tiktok but doesn't post all that much. she used to make shauna do all the dance trends with her in middle school and it makes her wake up in a cold sweat thinking about it.
Van Palmer has a Twitter solely to post links to her letterboxd reviews and retweet movie announcements and shit. she has like 3 posts on Instagram and she's only pictured in 1 of them. she mostly uses it to comment 😍😍😍 on all of Tai's posts. Van was a big Tumblr user in middle school but def grew out of it. Van is strangely big on tiktok for someone who almost never posts. she has a sense of humor though that would do numbers on tiktok for sure.
Tai Turner is a big Twitter user. she's super into like politics and stuff and gags the hell out of random politicians in the quote tweets. she also retweets all of Van's letterboxd reviews. her Instagram is a bunch of pictures of her, her and van, and the other yjs. she tries to keep her Instagram professional but Van's commenting 🍑🥵 a little too much for that lmaooo. never had a Tumblr. has a tiktok so van can send her stuff.
Mari is big Twitter user. she will use it to stay up in everyone's business and gossip. so many private quote retweets lmao. big Instagram/tiktok user as well. she tried to hard to be an influencer though so it's mostly embarrassing. has a Tumblr that she solely uses to comment insults on Shauna's Tumblr poetry. don't ask her how she found it, Mari knows all.
Lottie Matthews gives me technophobe vibes for some reason. she's def out there like "kids these days 🙄. always on their phones". she'd have a huge following on Twitter though and would predict celebrity deaths/divorces.
Nat Scatorccio had a not like other girls phase where she thought she was too good for social media in middle school. she's embarrassed about it but unfortunately has no idea how to use most of it now. has a Twitter and an Instagram only. she does numbers on Instagram though let me tell you.
Misty Quigley has Twitter, Instagram, Tiktok, Tumblr, etc but she only really posts on reddit. She's big in a lot of reddit circles and people like @ her specifically for stuff. I think she'd do numbers on like true crime tiktok though. Mari has a burner account just to comment hate on Misty's tiktok lmao. On everything else she follows like 3k people and is followed back by bots and Jackie.
Laura Lee would have an Instagram that she posted Bible verses and encouraging quotes on. She has a Twitter where she comments "disappointed 😥" whenever someone uses religion to be homophobic. her parents only let her use the internet for an hour a day though so she doesn't post super often.

Thinking about when Naomi mentioned Andie's friendgroup she wasn't a part of! It was definitely a popular group, too. So there was Andie, Emma and Chloe. There was also Chris, Max and Jamie. So basically girl trio and guy trio. That is what makes sense to me and I have such a vivid image of each personality! To summarize it
Andie: The Queen Bee. Natural leadership skills, bossy, ruthless, ambitious, gorgeous, materialistic, fun loving but also secretly compassionate, motherly and insecure. Andie would definitely be the protective mom friend. She'd be a control freak, too.
Chloe: I imagine Chloe to be a Nat-like personality! She comes across as tough, ruthless confident and blunt. She is never afraid to be brutally straightforward and tell it like it is but she also has a playful side where she likes to mess with others emotions by makung fun of them. Bit of a bad girl vibe as opposed to Andie's clean girl. But she's also loyal, passionate and supportive. Always having your back if you're on her good side. She comes across as rather aggressive but beneath that is quite an insecure and vulnerable girl who's afraid of showing weaknesses and get hurt again. She stays in the group because she enjoys popularity and good time and she's willing to turn a blind eye to a lot of stuff.
Emma: Emma is a bit of a Naomi personality. She comes across as warm, caring and bubbly, being a bit of a people pleaser. She's also usually smooth and social which mixes well with her warm, motherly nature. Emma is the most naive out of three girls and is mainly in group because she wants to fit in and maintain friendships she believes are genuine. She has a bit of a nerdy side where she's interested in history, especially history of fashion. Emma is also very insecure and those insecurities can make her act out and mess up. That's why she's rather unpredictable and has that air of mystery around true nature of her intentions.
Jamie: Jamie can be a difficult person to predict or put in a box. He's known as a bit of a silent troublemaker who's good at manipulation and is always up to something. He's fun loving, moody, laidback and despite prefering to just goof around, has a serious, calculating side to himself that gives him an air of mystery. Jamie is also caring and protective of those he holds close. Jamie struggles with self esteem issues which make it difficult for him to have hope in himself or some ambitions. That leads him to find an escape within hedonism, partying, alcohol, messing around and sex. Jamie has many intellectual interests and is a bit of a nerd, too.
Max: Max is known as your typical class clown jock. He comes across as chaotic, chirpy, loud and goofy. Always up to something and never having any chill. He's known for his unpredictable mood swings. He can be bouncing off the walls, living it up one mo ent and then sit in the corner sulking the next. Max has this childish edge to him where he can't fully grasp consenquences of things he says/does which leads to trouble. Max is a shameless attention seeker. He can get pretty manipulative, sneaky about it too. Despite how he acts, he's known to be a bit naive and a people pleaser towards the right people. Underneath the manic persona, Max is emotionally wrecked, desperate for attention/affection and struggling with self esteem and deep insecurities. He doesnt have much goals in his life except of living it to the fullest while he can and maybe find someone who will understand him for once.
Chris: Chris is known as the hotest guy in school, sure but he doesnt really care that much. He's the type that comes across laidback, warm and smooth. He's usually rather calm and reserved, being a bit shy. He's the kindest out of the boys, being a bit of a people pleaser. He has a playful, fun loving side and is always up for a good time. Chris is known to be a bit naive, too. Chris is really insecure underneath the surface tho. Those insecurities can make him act out recklessly aswell. Chris is also smart and a good student that has a natural curiosity towards knowledge. He is good in science, history and it became an inside joke that he's a walking google search. Chris is mostly there because he likes validation and benefits that come from being popular aswell as to maintain friendships with his boys. However Chris is also bit of a mysterious person because he has a cunning, sneaky side to him and no one is sure about his true morals and intentions. He turns a blind eye to a lot of things, too.
I’m so invested in this universe!!!
You gave them such an intriguing personalities that makes you naturally want to explore them. I love how you described them perfectly. I can literally see all of them being the way you described, especially Jamie.
I LOVED THIS! Share more?

Hi! I love your clintasha stuff so much.
Do you have any headcanons for clintasha angst?! I’ve always imagined that with their age gap, nat’s closeness to Steve (in the MCU anyway), Clint’s insecurities and hidden anger streak (as seen in Endgame with Ronin), and the fact that they both have quite dominant personalities, conditions can sometimes be ripe for an argument.
And when they do fight, they fight! Like all the avengers/SHIELD are on edge for days because of the tension. And eventually one of them just gets so upset not having the other there that they will work up the courage to apologize.
Aww! Why thank you so much I’m glad you’re enjoying them!
I picture the fights between Clint and Nat to be a micro equivalent of the Cold War. Well, unlike the Cold War it does get hot! (Pun intended!) Picture the Cuban Missile crisis but make it between two very dominate and very opinionated and highly skilled individuals whose combined capabilities could level any building with a three block radius.
That my friend is what happens when Clint and Nat trade blows. Fortunately for New York and Avengers Tower they’ve managed to reserve their anger to sharp-tongued barbs and egg-shell tense silence. At least while in front of the team…until one or the other cracks and a dish gets thrown.
(Clint threw a coffee cup and missed Natasha obviously, Natasha predictably got offended that he missed on purpose. Steve had to cut in between them, which only redirected their anger onto him much to his supreme confusion.
“Oh wow look at Cap really putting your namesake to use huh? Do you have a list of thirteen points?!”
“Kindly fuck off old man, not every fight needs your fucking help!”
Clint and Nat promptly shared a look. Twenty minutes later everyone heard the ‘kiss and make-up’)
Clint definitely has an anger streak roughly six miles long but he hides it very very well. It took Phil a lot of blood (literally), sweat, and tears to help Clint get a handle on his shit when he first joined SHIELD. While his anger bursts are few and far in between, when they do explode out of him he has at least learned to redirect that anger onto his physical surroundings and be mindful that maybe punching a concrete wall wouldn’t do his shooting hand well. One of the first things Natasha ever gave him was a tennis ball. She picked it up on a whim during a mission because Clint was annoyingly restless, and figuratively bouncing off the walls with energy that he needed to expend but couldn’t because the mission was geared towards her skill set rather than his. He still has it to this day and whenever he feels the tell-tell hotness burning up his spine that comes with a burst of anger he’ll take out the tennis ball and start ricocheting it off the walls. (It drives Tony absolutely fucking nuts.)
Natasha’s anger is far more…precise. Like a surgeon’s scalpel compared to the mini nuke that is Clint’s. She specializes in using silence, passive aggression and careful word choice to express her anger, which inevitably triggers Clint’s mouth because he hates getting ignored. Especially by her. If by the fourth day neither of them crack Clint will start the truce with her favorite meal, a hot drawn bath and a list of apologies. Afterwards they’ll talk it out, between rounds of sex. (Clint’s of the mind that Natasha will just start some if the fights for the make up sex. Natasha only confirms this much later when physically backed into a corner. He really can’t blame her, he’s done it at least once or twice.)
Natasha’s apologies require a lot less forethought. Clint drops whatever argument they’re having at the sight of her bare breasts, along with his pants. This neat trick lasted for ohh about the second big blow out, when Clint afterwards rolled over and demanded that if she was gonna just fuck their problems away they might as well call it quits. “Don’t get me wrong you’ve got great tits and the sex is mind blowing but if great tits and mind blowing sex is all it takes we’ve got bigger problems, Tasha.” In the end they keep the sex, but Natasha makes an effort to truly truly talk it all out, which in returns Clint rewards. Quite enthusiastically.
For the more minor spats, they save those for the training mats, trading punches and ass pinches. By the time that’s all done they’re lying on their backs sweating through their clothes and laughing. They might be dating, but ultimately they’re competitive best friends through and through.

Saw DND:Honor among thieves and I have THOUGHTSSSSS
Disclaimer: I am a dnd nerd but not intensely so. So compared to other more serious dnd people I probably care less about ‘game accuracy’ or whatever. Also, if your gonna reblog with “weren’t we boycotting” or smth, just leave bestie also SPOLIERS duh
ANYWAY- my main critique is the pacing. Overall, the fast paced nature helped keep the vibe flowing without getting caught but their were a couple times where I kinda got overwhelmed with how often we were switching scenes. That and I agree with the critiques of the tiefling design being rather boring, especially when you factor in her whole “I hate humans” thing since she looks almost exactly like them.
…and that’s it….no really! I found myself enjoying this film FAAARRRR more than I thought I would. At the end, I think why I loved it much more than similar movies is that it nailed the humor and comedic timing. It has its serious moments and it does them well, but overall it’s a really fucking funny movie where one of the main villains is defeated with a potato to the face. There are several stellar jokes, like-
The fat dragon
Everything Xenk says
The death of the red wizard lady lol
“What’s wrong with my lips!?”
The dwarven bridge
The fake window at the end
And of course NAT 20 potato!
I was laughing a lot throughout the movie, definitely it’s best aspect in my opinion. But I also loved the relationship between Edgin (the bard) and Hulga (the barbarian). I LOVE that they have raised this child platonically and have no desire to change that. There’s no secret crush or anything, they’re both interested in the opposite sex, just not each other. Simon is stellar, his arc is very sweet and simple and I love how his magic is shown. I like how he knows what he can or cannot do, the range of his spells and stuff like that. He doesn’t just wave his hands and magic just happens, it’s an actual skill. Of course the Druid solos, the use of the wild shape is so creative and very fun. And xenk (the paladin) is so deadpan and serious, I love him. All these characters are very silly and fun and fit very well into the goofy writing. I will say, the red wizards are not very fleshed out, but for most of the movie they aren’t really the main villain so it’s whatever to me.
The effects were really dope! They were several times where I think the practical effects really made the creatures that much more real. Defiantly a great case study for why it’s a great idea to ditch CGI (at least partially) and go practical.
Lastly, the serious scenes are really nice here, I’ll discuss two.
1st, the scene where they almost break up. Every good campaign needs to almost break up but I really like this scene. Yes, Edgin has lied by omission but only because he truly believes that Simon can do it. I like how he brings them back together, he doesn’t exclude himself from being a fuckup as well. But you have to keep trekking until youre happy, becuase if you don’t, your past trauma has won. Its very sweet how they all sit together. But what I love most is that they pivot their plan, Edgin still believes in Simon but realizes that not every insecurity can be over come by encouragement. So they come up with a plan that feels more comfortable, but just as crazy.
And 2nd, of course the death scene at the end. Yes it was predictable, but hulga dying and coming back is not what makes this scene, it’s Edgin putting his daughter first. Obviously I think she would want to meet her birth mother, but at the same time it’s a women she’s never known. Edgin realizes that he’s the only person here who would rather bring back his wife than Hulga. He comes to terms with the fact the Hulga is just as much his child’s parent as him or his wife, she means just as much to her. So, finally, he puts his daughters feelings first and resurrects the closest thing to a mother she’s ever had. It’s heartbreaking, but the action of a true parent.
OVERALL, I really loved this movie, again a lot more than I thought I would. Its funny, witty, fast paced fantasy fun. If you don’t want to give money to WOTC or Hasbro, watch it after it gets released online. But I definitely recommend it!

A Natasha scenario you could do is the reader's car stalls in a snow storm and our lovely Russian woman comes to the rescue with her own warm car ! Who knows, hope this helps your want to write :)
This actually helped with my writer's block a lot <3 I dont have my driver's license yet and I have very little knowledge on how cars work so I kept putting it off to get this finished because I'm worried something I wrote was inaccurate but oh well (also I'm literally posting this during spring. Really wishing it was still cold enough to snow right about now sigh)
Car Trouble (Natasha Romanoff x reader)
Warnings: swearing, mention of snowstorms, car trouble ig?? (Idk if those could be considered as warnings but better safe than sorry)
Tumblr media
"Shit," you said as your car suddenly stopped, not wanting to go any farther no matter how hard you slammed your foot on the gas. "Oh, come on." You turned your keys in the ignition a few times, trying to get it to work, but it was no use. Your car sputtered before giving out a sad, strangled choking sound, and that was it. It was clear at that point your car was dead, and you were screwed.
"Well, that's just great," you muttered. You thought about maybe using the jumper cables you usually kept in the trunk of your car to give it a well needed boost of energy before remembering you'd taken it out the day before, needing the extra space for the groceries you'd needed to pick up. Of course the one time you needed it was the one time it wasn't there.
Sighing, you pulled out your phone to double check the forecast for the day. It was currently 30° and dropping, indicating the snow storm you weren't expecting to receive until next week was going to be arriving early.
"Wonderful." You were stuck in your car, about to be hit by a massive snow storm, groceries in the back, no jumper cable, and your phone was at seven percent. No one you knew would have the time to just drop everything and come pick you up, except for maybe one person; your girlfriend.
You quickly dialed her number and sat there anxiously as it rang. When she didn't answer the first time, you called again, hoping she would pick up. Then, on the third ring, she did.
"Hello?"
"Nat! Oh, thank God," you breathed out a sigh of relief. "Look, my phone's about to die, so I don't have much time to say what I need to say, but my car's being a dick, I don't have the jumper cables on me, and I'm pretty sure the snow storm predicted for next week is coming early. Please send help," you fake pleaded, only half joking.
The other end was silent, causing you to think maybe your phone had already died until you heard shuffling and the distinct sound of jingling keys on the other end. "I'm on my way. Text me where you're at if you can, if not, Friday has GPS systems installed in our cars for a reason."
"Oh my God, Nat, you're the best. Thank you."
You could hear the smirk in her voice as she gave her response. "Don't thank me yet."
Less than twenty minutes later, you heard the familiar rumbling of a car engine as Natasha's car pulled up beside yours. "Hey stranger," she said as she got out.
"Natasha!" You felt a tremendous amount of relief as she got out the jumper cables and made her way over to you.
"I'm gonna pop the hood so I can get this done and we can go home."
You watched as she tinkered with the stuff under the hood of your car for a couple minutes before giving you the go ahead to try to turn it on.
You gleefully honked on the horn as your car suddenly roared to life, causing Natasha to shoot you a dirty look. "That was my ear you just honked in."
"Sorry babe, my bad." You gave her a sheepish grin as you got out of your car and went to stand behind her. You wrapped your arms around her waist and squeezed. "Thank you so much for helping me with this today."
"Of course, I couldn't just leave you out here to freeze." She turned around to face you after shutting the hood of the car. "I've got to get back, but make sure you get home safe, okay?"
"Don't worry, I will." You gave her a quick kiss before getting back in the car. "I love you," you called out before shutting the door.
Waving to her as she drove away, you put on your seatbelt and got started on the drive back home.

I'm curious about your thoughts on that. I haven't tried 2E yet but I heard it was vastly simplified and I was wondering what the advantages were.
Alright so a big difference is that the system was built from the ground up rather than being a decade of content heaped upon a hack of a system that was built with rather weird design intentions.
So...
1) Actions work differently - instead of a confusing array of Standard, Swift, Move and Full actions, which typically had the effect of forcing you to stand still every turn if you wanted to be useful (especially if you were a higher level, a monk or a dextrous dual-wielder focused on making a billion attacks where you move 5 feet per turn or else do an eighth of the damage), actions are just actions - you have 3 actions, to do with as you wish.
You can attack twice and move, or attack and cast a spell (which typically cost 2 actions), or attack three times, or use a special ability that costs 3 actions, etc. Spells like Haste just give you an extra action to play with, Slow makes you lose one, etc etc. There’s an increasing penalty to your attacks (that is lessened with certain class features and by using light weapons) if you’ve already made attacks this turn that makes each successive attack less valuable than the first, so there’s more of an incentive to Do Other Stuff with your actions.
Makes for a much better game because of the variety of stuff you can do with your turn - martials always felt incredibly stifled if they weren’t standing still just delivering a billion attacks and nothing else. It pairs nicely with some other things - for example, monks, instead of their special ability being that they can make way more attacks than anyone else so long as they stand still, their ability is that they get to make two attacks in one action - they feasibly could make a ton of attacks if they stood still, but the penalty for multiple attacks means you’re better off making your two attacks and using your other two actions to do sick kickflips and so on.
2) Oh also it has this crit system - instead of Critical Threats and Confirmation Rolls, if you beat the DC by 10, you get a critical success (and if you fail it by 10, you get a critical failure (also a nat 20 or nat 1 increases or decreases the degree of success by one. It’s fun, and makes your numbers a bit more interesting (having a big number doesn’t just mean you auto succeed all the time, making competent PCs more predictable and boring.)
This is extended beyond just attack rolls into every other type of roll - like if you cast a spell to paralyse someone, if they Crit succeed their save, nothing happens, if they regularly succeed, they maybe lose an action on their next turn, if they regularly fail, they’re paralysed for maybe a round, if they critically fail, they’re paralysed for a while. Etc etc. So a wizard doesn’t have a 60% chance of accomplishing absolutely nothing on their turn. Gives every other mechanic a lot more texture.
3) Feat Design - alright, this is a big one - they got rid of all the feats that like... give you a +2 bonus to x. There’s no Weapon Focus, or Power Attack (well, there is a feat -called- power attack but it’s completely different). Pretty much all the feats you get, like... *do things*. Like it gives you a Thing you can do, like a special attack that costs an action. Makes playing as a martial vastly less lame - you’ve got, like, choices, to make on your turn, rather than just in character creation.
4) Class Structure - Also feats are split up into Class Feats, Ancestry Feats, General Feats and Skill Feats - Class Feats are sort of like... rogue talents, or rage powers, but every class gets them. And every other level, you unlock a new, higher tier of class feats.
The problem I had with feats in pf1e and in WotR especially was that, since all the feats are pretty much available from level 1, is that you spend the first few levels desperately trying to grab the feats that you *need* for your build to function (like needing a feat to add Dex to attack), then you can spend a while picking up decent feats that sound cool and going down the feat chains, and then you *run out*, and at the later levels there’s just nothing to spend your feats on so you’re just hoovering up the shitty boring ones that weren’t worth it compared to the ones you picked up earlier. Like you have nothing else to get so you might as well get... I dunno, Iron Will. Whatever. Because there’s nothing else left.
In 2e, every level you get access to new, cooler, fancier feats that you couldn’t access before (and are balanced around not being available to lower levels so they’re way more powerful)
Also, primarily noncombat feats are shuffled into Skill Feats - a separate category that isn’t competing for resources with your combat-focused Class Feats, meaning you can be good at studying lore or pickpocketing or learn more languages without being worse at the game for it. (Though a downside with skill feats is that they’re very frequently kinda underwhelming, but it’s definitely an improvement)
5) Stat balancing - enemies are built from the top down - the devs identify what statistics they want for the NPC to work properly, and they just give them those statistics, rather than building them from the ground up stacking Hit Die and monster templates and listing out the Iron Will and Power Attack and Weapon Focus (claws) feats in a big stack that are needed to build the NPC 'organically’.
In 2e, the monster just has the stats it needs, and it makes things vastly more balanced. Monsters don’t *need* to have 30 Spell Resistance (no longer a feature), immunity to 5 random damage types and start every combat with Mirror Image and Blur to stand a chance. They just have, like, an appropriate amount of AC and HP and Saves and it works because PCs don’t scale so wackily and uncontrollably. Makes encounters are vastly easier to balance.
There are lots of other smaller features that I think are Just Better, like scaling spells to spell-slot level rather than caster level so a 5th level fireball is roughly in-line with other 5th level spells. I like how it handles equipment more, I like how it’s far less strict about Manoeuvres, which are now pretty much available to everyone rather than being prohibitively awful until you’ve invested a significant amount of your characters build into it. It’s got the ancestry feats which are nice flavour (and importantly don’t compete with other feats). Generally there’s some good build variety; you can do a bit of bows and a bit of melee without feeling like one is gonna be totally extraneous. The general design uses less vague natural language and new content just slots in a lot easier.
I might complain a bit that at times it feels a bit *too* balanced, like they were overcompensating for the unbalanced mess that was the previous edition and don’t want to let things be too powerful, though for the most part it’s not that big a problem.
It’s just good!

Idk I just don’t think Taylor would do this much moving around and picking jack up and shit and meeting collaborators in person for just vault tracks tbh because like she recorded red tv and fearless tv vault tracks from home and like w red tv she didn’t even meet phoebe till now so idk it just sounds like TS 10 and I want to be pop rock
Same tbh.
Also it’s interesting she did the Haim show obviously lol because it’s a different vibe to what she’s been doing 🤷🏻‍♀️

*mcconaughey voice* alrightalright... Grievances Ask Game #s 3, 16, 25?
3. What's your biggest tumblr pet peeve(s)?
When folks posit as SteveTony fans and GUSH over x but y is just. There. Barely, even. Not my thing, honestly. When it comes to the fandom stuff I reblog, I'm here to see SteveTony content sure but also to get to know PEOPLE so I LOVE seeing behind the curtain into their lives, interests and headcanons. But when it's just a hyperfixation on one character over the other, I'm like Cool, good for you! But I'm not going to follow you. Just not what I'm here for. TBH: I don't use Tumblr religiously enough to have a pet peeve so maybe that's not the right answer....less of a pet peeve and more just a what-I'm-gonna-click-very-quickly-out-of.
16. Name a canonical aspect of SteveTony’s relationship that you think is problematic/not mentioned enough
Uh. MCU has the predictable hang-ups about Ultron and Civil War with Tony and Steve getting their respective character beatings. I feel like the comics have a lot more content to mine as far as problematic behaviour to explore. Maybe--as far as not mentioned enough--just HOW much of a fumble the team was. Tony leaving at the end of A:AOU, Bruce/Hulk fucking off, Nat kissing Bruce and manipulating him, Thor and Steve both being too aggro--all of this shit is so Bad when you think about it. Maybe one day I'll write a fic where they're all Like This and SteveTony are also fucking but uh. What the fuck was going on there, eh? Uhh I guess an extension of that would be Steve being written in fic as someone who pulls his punches but being the total opposite in the films up until IW. The man doesn't account for the serum much? And maybe we should explore that, even though I'll admit that I prefer writing the alternative. & I wish, on Tony's end, that his "mastermind" tendencies/pulling strings BTS were explored without flinching from his control tendencies. We could probably get some very good stories out of Hyper-Aggro!Steve x Control-Issues!Tony. We probably already have, TBF. Drop 'em in the notes, folks!
25. Share an unpopular opinion you have RE: fanfiction (writing, culture, etiquette, etc.)
Being insistent on updates is never cute! Honestly. There is the occasional "oh that's sweet that they really like the fic" but a lot of the times when I see comments--mostly on other fics, I'm not talking about mine here--that boil down to "update plz", even if it's worded kinder, I'm just like.... Shut the Fuck Up. After writing a truly horrendous amount of fic last year, I've gone full circle with the process and realised that the attention you get from readers is never going to be more fulfilling than the actual writing, so if you're constantly pushing to get stuff out to appeal to/satisfy readers, you're going to get very quickly uncharmed with the whole fic writing gig. True enjoyment is what makes it sustainable, and a huge part of that is writing on your own terms and by your own timeframe. I'm less bugged about it when I see it in my comments because I'm not out here reinventing the wheel but some very, very good writers in the fandom get a lot of that shit and every time I see it, I will indulge in an emphatic, "ah fuck you, hoss". Is that an unpopular opinion?
Ask game here.

Yellowjacket season 2 predictions/theories:
Jackie / Laura Lee both get canonised in the woods cult (Laura as the first true believer of Lottie and Jackie as the first sacrifice)
Misty snaps and kills Coach
Lotties modern day cult is like a glorified mlm
We still don’t find out who pit girl is
Nat and Travis break off from the main group, because neither of them believe in the antler queen stuff
Adult Van is still in Lottie’s cult
Adult Misty starts writing her cringe fail loser biography

My thoughts on Yellowjackets Season 1
Major spoilers for season one under the cut. Also, long
Okay I'm going to break this up into parts because I'm mentally ill and neurodivergent, need I say more?
Stuff I predicted.
First and foremost, I fucking called it that Coach Ben was gay. I was watching it with my cousins and I announced to the room: "The coach guy is gay, you can quote me on that!" Just for the record, my gaydar is very good.
Jackie's death was extremely sad, but I knew the second hallucination!Shauna let her inside. There's no way she would forgive her or be forgiven that fast, teenage girls are terrifying.
Predictions for the future:
They are 100% going to eat Jackie. Nuff Said.
Javi is dead. If not now, then soon.
There is a 0% chance that Shauna's baby is going to survive. Giving birth is dangerous enough on its own. But a teenager giving birth, in the woods, with no medication, no food, no doctors, under absolutely horrifying mental circumstances. There's no way in hell.
For this prediction, it must be known that I know absolutely nothing about lighters. But during the scene where Jackie was trying to light the fire before she died, I noticed that she was having trouble with the lighter. This could have been because she was shivering, or to further drive home the fact that she isn't good at "outdoorsy" stuff, but lighters do run on a small amount of fuel. And if that runs you can no longer use the lighter, it is also unlikely the lighters were full when they got them (I'm assuming they got them from the cabin, as it would be weird for a teenager to bring a lighter to a soccer game) So if the lighters run out or stop working, will they run out of fuel?
And, we have to talk about my least favourite arc of all time, Misty and the Coach. I hated this so fucking much. Adult Misty slays but '96 Misty makes me want to die. Anyway... I think he gon be outed. Misty fucking assaulted and terrorized this guy for so long, and then he told her that he was gay. She isn't going to sit on this, she's going to tell everyone. I don't think anyone's going to be homophobic, because they were all fine with Taivan, but I do think that this is going to really alienate her from Nat, who is Ben's best friend and #1 supporter.
In terms of whos, the head-honcho with the scary mask is, at this point, I'm almost certain that it's got to be Lottie. At first, I was betting on Taissa because of the whole "Became a leader in her adult life" thing, but now I'm shying against it, and I'm not quite sure why. Lottie is my first choice, not from a character standpoint, but purely from a literary one. She is the only character that has not yet appeared as an adult (next to Van) who has gotten any real characterization. And Van just kind of seems like a prop to be Tai's girlfriend and someone to get injured a shit ton. (I love Taivan, don't get me wrong)
Flight 571
If you don't know, flight 571 was a real flight, carrying a Urgarian rugby team, that crashed in the Andes. It is often known as "The Miracle of the Andes." Of the 45 people on the flight, 16 survived, and they did so by eating each other. It was a big hyper-fixation of mine for a while.
One of the biggest differences between the Yellowjackets vs 571, is the setting. As 571 crashed in the Anes, where there was absolutely no life, and their flight obviously crashed in the forest, where they can hunt. But as winter approaches, the two climates become more and more similar, which will probably lead to more parallels.
There are already a shit ton of parallels, starting way back in episode 2, with none other than Van. Her Flight 571 parallel is, arguably the most famous of the group, Nando Parrado. And although your parallels aren't glaring, there is no questioning that they're there. Nando had a fractured skull and was in a Coma for three days after the crash. At first, he was to be counted among the dead, but at the last minute, he was pulled back into the plane, where he survived and became one of the most important people on the flight and one of the survivors. This is a parallel to the way that Van almost died in the fire, but survived and became a very important figure.
In relation to the whole "eating Jackie" thing. In the real-life flight 571 They didn't eat the already dead, they only ate the people that had consented to be eaten when they were alive. This will most likely not play into it at all here, but I want to see how they handle the morality of the situation
Another thing that came up a lot in the crash of 571, was whether or not they could physically;y stomach the meat. Many passengers, even when dying of starvation, could not stomach the meat of their fellow passengers. Again, I doubt this will come up, but It would be dope if it did.
Rationing horror. I want it. I know I'm a jerk, but there is one instance in 571 that has always stuck with me, and this is the fact that one of the 571 passengers (I believe it was my man Nando) ate one chocolate-covered almond over the course of three days. First the outer layer of the chocolate, and then the two slivers of almond, one at a time. I don't have a reason for it, but I really want this to play a part.
I'm very confused about how the cannibalism wasn't immediately found out when they were rescued. In the real-life Andes flight, people figured it out almost immediately. They were immediately rushed to the hospital, and when the doctors puzzled out that they had to be eating something, it was all out in the open pretty fast. I'm curious how the Yellowjackets managed to cover it up.
Things I Loved
Pretty much the whole show. Even the things I hated (see below) are either so small or made sense narratively that it allowed for a really enjoyable watching experience. It was beautiful to look at. Amazingly acted. Amazingly scripted. And just an all-around excellent show.
Things I hated
The Misty/Ben arc. I hated this so fucking much. Ben is my favourite character, and he was straight-up getting harassed by Misty. She also only stopped when she forced him out. And even then she didn't stop being bitter about it. ("[Ben] tricked me into falling in love with him") She also TRIED TO RAPE HIM??? Even after he said no multiple times during episode nine. It also made me cringe, super hard, which isn't as important but still makes me hate it. This is why I have '96 Misty. I understand that it made literary sense, but still...
The fact that 571 is canon in the Yellowjackets universe. It is mentioned in a throwaway line said by that reporter. I believe in episode eight, It feels like a mistake, like when Hot Tub Time Machine was referenced in Endgame. I have already said that it is clear that Yellowjackets is loosely based on flight 571, which makes me feel weird...
The way that schizophrenia was presented. I'm not Schitzo Spec, nor a medical professional so I'm not speaking from experience, but from the research I've done, it can be pretty harmful to use hallucinations to convey evil things or to present it as a gift. Both of which are done in the show
Character Thoughts:
I am completely separating the '96 characters from the present day. In my mind thus far they are different people. This is in literally no order
Reporter: Literally no strong feelings about her what-so-ever, don't even know her name
Those three random girls: You know who I'm talking about. I don't even know their names so I don't care.
Jeff: I hate him. He makes me want to murder him. He cheated on his girlfriend with her best friend. Then blackmailed her friends for money because people didn't want his furniture. 0/10 do not recommend
'96 Misty: I really hate her, even more than Jeff. She's the only character who I like the present-day version of her more than the teen version. Again, the whole Misty/Ben act made me really deeply resent her
Present-day Misty: I love her. So much. She and House should team up and create the malpractice hospital of the century. I was on the fence about her until the very end when she poisoned the reporters cigarettes. And now I love her.
'96 Lottie: I think that she needs a bit more development, and I can see her becoming one of my favourites. Apart from my thoughts on her schizophrenia, I think that with a bit more characterization she can become almost perfect
'96 Vanessa: I love her. Again, I feel like she is mostly being portrayed as someone to do gruesome stuff too, and as a prop for Tai., but the crumbs of Characterization we get for her are awesome. I love the way that she took Lotties weird bone/good luck charm with her. Is shows that she's really sweet and a good person.
'96 Nat: Yes. Her. Yes. Also, she's definitely queer and no I do not take criticism. I think that, even though she's so broken, her and Travis have a really unique and great bond, even at their worst. I also LOVE her relationship with Wen (Don't worry, we're getting to him) She's probably my favourite of the girls.
Present day Nat: Unpopular opinion, but just eh. She's a very tragic character, and that's important for the story. I think that her grief, and her relapse, are very realistic. I can empathize with her, but she isn't very interesting and one of my favourites.
'96 Jackie: I hate her too. I think she's whiny, and doesn't pull her weight. And her insane amount of pouting is what got her killed. I understand that there was a whole arc about her not pulling her weight, but I don't think that ever got really resolved. She did the seance, but that definitely did more bad than good. I wish she wasn't dead, but she irritates me.
'96 Travis: I definitely think he had some of the best development out of all the kids. During the first couple of episodes, I was team eat Travis first and now I'm team eat him second or third. Still not my favourite, but I don't hate him.
'96 Shauna: I think that she's a bi-disaster and in love with Jackie, but honestly to me she seems a bit one-sided. I don't really have super strong thoughts on her
Present-day Shauna: The worst of the adults. Even if it turns out her husband is blackmailing her, she shouldn't have cheated, especially if she didn't know. She pretty much neglects her daughter and kept those journals even though it meant putting her team in jeopardy.
'96 Javi: I think that at the beginning, he had the potential to be interesting. Especially with the whole, dead dad/gum thing. But we haven't really heard from him in a while, so there isn't much to say.
'96 Tai: I like her a lot, I think that she is the one whose characterization as a child comes through the most as an adult. You can see her leadership come through and strengthen as the season go on, which obviously morphs into her becoming senator as an adult.
Present day Tai: Fine. Just fine. I think that her arc as an adult is quite interesting because most of her reach characterization came through in her marriage/parenting/politics stuff, and not in the mystery. But she's fine.
Ben: Oh my precious. Oh, my baby. This man can do no wrong. he could eat literally everyone else, including Nat and Van, and I would continue to give him cuddles and words of affirmation. My favourite character of all time, the reason I hate '96 Misty. If anyone does anything to him they are dead to me forever. That one scene where he's high on shrooms and screaming at the sky that he's gay. Goosebumps.
TL;DR
I'm a really fucked up person who just spent almost hours writing an essay on a show she isn't even done watching yet.

i should probably have this like in my actual. pages. that i am so behind on sorry to be The Worst. but little notes about yj portrayals:
mari: i am exclusively teen timeline and pre-crash because i have no faith that my number 1 girl survives <3 BUT there is still that little chance that the yearbook prediction is true and if so, then yes post-crash exists. probably will only write post crash au w/ cj where mariakilah live off the grid.
nat: i have been saying exclusively teen but i think i am slowly opening up to the idea of adult!nat and might do so pending rewatch for both nat & van. post-rescue stuff works too.
shauna: complicated bestie. primarily adult, i think. shauna is hard because shauna is isolated as hell in all timelines. i think pre-crash for jackie specific interactions probably. there is also definitely teen relationships i am interested in / lottie stuff would need to be plotted i think just so we are both comfortable w/ what has happened !
van: both. i am 100% on board with both.

Do you have any US Nationals predictions? Apparently they have to announce the 4CC team before it because of visa stuff. I think they'll send C/B, the Browns and G/Pa to 4CC and then C/B, H/B (if they decide to do Nationals) or G/Pa and CPom to Worlds.
the process for choosing the 4CC teams has pretty specific criteria, but with wiggle room. Chock/Bates said they're going, so that leaves 2 spots. by nearly all the criteria, Green/Parsons are next- they have the highest Grand Prix score, highest most recent international score, they ranked highest at Worlds last season, highest at US Nats. CPom are next after that. they look like the top 3, but because there's wiggle room, i guess we'll see
the next 2 teams are the Browns and Z/K. the Browns have the edge because they beat Z/K at Skate Canada and have more international scores from last season. after that P/B and B/S (can't believe it but P/B are outscoring B/S this season)
for Nationals, Kaitlin and Jean-Luc's recovery and plans are still a big question mark. CPom skating head to head with Gr/Pa for the first time this season will be a total nail biter
Gr/Pa have been trying to find themselves all fall, so it will be interesting to see if the FD is more successful and cohesive after this break. this fall has been a series of tough reality checks (R/A who they beat at Worlds last season have scores 5+ pts higher than last year, while Gr/Pa's have gone down by 5+), so will be really interesting to see if that's affected their standing at home too
meanwhile, CPom have been getting their levels recently, but their GOE average +2 🤨 which feels stingy, and their PCS aren't quite 8.5. can't wait to see what they've been working on, if they've changed anything in the programs to nudge the judges to score them higher
some of the loudest predictions the last couple seasons about MIDA taking over, about Z/K leapfrogging - they haven't come true so far. and nobody saw some of the bigger surprises coming. so i'm just going to keep watching and not predicting 😅 because i don't think i get how this all works yet

hello friends here are my official thoughts on yellowjackets 02x02 brought to you by my four pages of notes from last night (spoilers below cut)
ok so breaking this up by starting with what i didn’t like. this is the first episode of yellowjackets where i really had moments where i was pretty unhappy with some choices so i wanna talk about those, why i didn’t like them, and how i wish it had gone
- very upset that jackie said the thing about shauna wishing she was her. like i feel like that is not the direction things were going in! we all know how homoerotic everything between them is and especially given the bit last episode where adult shauna told jeff about her fantasies of him with someone else (jackie). i am holding out hope for ghost jackie coming back and getting the love confession out of her so fingers crossed
- not thrilled with how the taissa confronting shauna about jackie bit went. i think that the makeup being the thing that pushed her over the edge was weird. i think they should’ve gone with what a lot of us were predicting where tai caught shauna kissing and/or eating the corpse and that being what made her be like ok we gotta get rid of this body. i just wanted more fucked up corpse stuff, ya know?
- did not like the random concern for the baby from tai, like idk i just feel like none of them are really focused on it rn and it just wasn’t necessary like she was concerned enough for shauna as a friend
- i didn’t love that there was more focus on travis looking for javi, idk i feel like that time would have been better used otherwise but i’m glad he now has fake closure at least so he stops being so obsessed with finding javi
- the nat/travis sex scene with lottie just there was just ugh. idk i wish the lottie/travis thing wasn’t going so in depth, wish they had chosen one of the other girls to be that figure but i mean watching travis’ descent into lottie’s shit is interesting
- i really wish they had put off the group cannibalism for at least one more episode. i’m bummed that shauna wasn’t the only one to eat jackie and i think some of the others just logically aren’t at the cannibalism point yet? like yes they were kind of trancelike but still idk it felt a little like they just wanted to get it in there so people would stop asking when it was happening
now onto what i liked/just general liveblog style thoughts (which there will probably be more of)
- gotta say the makeup scene was great (should’ve ended in a kiss tho) and i loved jackie encouraging shauna to eat her, the guilt of it in shauna, wish she actually had made the leap though
- ok taivan time! my favorite people to talk about lets go. van chasing after tai when she sleepwalked was great, i wonder if the pit she walked to was The Pit as in Pit Girl Pit but that’s a question for another time. when they get back to the cabin, van suggesting tai get help from lottie was really sweet although van being into lottie’s shit is obviously sowing the seeds of conflict between them. finally the little head kiss and the “i can feel your heartbeat” was so soft i love these girls with my whole being
- liked the snippets of the misty/crystal loser girl friendship in the background cannot wait to see more of them
- adult tai is going through it, i was excited to see the mirror thing start interested to see where the kind of “mirror self” thing goes
- lottie spying on nat since travis died is creepy but also great for the lottienat agenda and her going you’re welcome i think misty and lottie should work together on the keep nat from being self destructive project
- shauna being my poor pathetic little meow meow in the scene where tai calls her out teehee, wish she had put up more of a fight about cremating jackie like just lay on top of her or something girl be crazy just do it
- “so you lied to the cops to be feminist?” this is the season of callie being iconic i feel so bad for her though
- tai hallucinating sammy being at her place was SO interesting i really liked it
- travis going to lottie about the wilderness coming back to haunt him. i wanna know what’s up with that/if the wilderness is haunting the rest of the survivors similarly
- GHOST LAURA LEE THIS IS NOT A DRILL hope we see her again at some point <3
- i do wonder if lottie had more of a hand in travis’ death than she told nat but i do believe her honestly
- mari keeping up her being a cunt and making soup we love to see it!
- i LOVED shauna’s pre lighting jackie on fire speech: “i don’t even know where you end and i begin” YES and her ending it with saying she loves her when jackie’s last thoughts were being loved by shauna i need to lay down. also so appropriate that shauna was the one to light jackie, no one else could’ve done it
- tai and simone’s car crash, i feel like tai is probably gonna put blame on herself bc it was her fault and likely that and the conversation with simone in the car will be what leads to her seeking out van
- alright cannibalism time babey lets go
- “she wants us to”
- i adored the cutting between the like imagined feast and the cannibalism that was super well done and just overall a fantastic scene that will stick with me. also the girls all looked so hot in the feast scene so i am gay about it
- do wish there was more of the cannibalism shown but overall just incredible way to start things off
- also shauna would’ve eaten all of jackie even if the others were like ew no wtf lets be real
- poor coach

Reactor Recommendations: The Owl House
I’ve decided to make a running list of my favorite reactors for some of my favorite shows so I can actually find them when I’m in the mood to watch share them with everyone! Gonna be a mix of the Big Ones (NSAF, Morgan, Bill, Etc) and some of the smaller ones I really like! List below the cut. 😃
Not-So-Average-Fangirl
A classic and one of the better known Owl House reactors on YouTube. Is particularly known for being a gay disaster and have some of the most visceral reactions to the show, very entertaining to watch. Unfortunately she doesn’t have reactions for episodes prior to 117.
Rebecca Rose
Another classic, known for her in depth video essays and keen mind, was most people’s source for finding the codes in the episodes. Unfortunately she didn’t start reacting to episodes until 111, and she didn’t react to Season 2B because she was actually hired to work on the show at that point! She did tons of promo on Twitter for Season 2B though.
IAmZamber
Maybe it’ll be easier to just say these first four were like my bread and butter for TOH reactors. Zamber has fun reactions to watch and started watching shortly after I did.
Morgan Terry
Also know for having extremely entertaining and visceral reactions, has accidentally given herself a nosebleed on camera from crying about the Gay before.
Director Nat
One of my favorite reactors in general, he’s somehow ended up on a role watching sapphic cartoons and doing fun, in depth show analysis while also being a huge fanboy whenever cool stuff happens.
thethirdbill
Has fun and engaging reactions with a decent amount of analysis/theory work at times. Slightly hard to follow if you aren’t already pretty familiar with the episode since he only uses audio and some stills to clarify where he’s at in the episode, so I normally have his for later once I know the plot beats better.
Krystology Reacts
One of the newer reactors I’ve started watching. Just recently finished Season 2 and was really good at picking up details and doing analysis while also having an entertaining reaction. Is the only reactor I know of that ships Raeda more than Lumity (though she ships both).
Wee Lass Reacts
Has only just finished Season 1 and is moving onto Season 2 but holy hell 1. The Editing, 2. The ability to predict where the plot’s going. She’s called sooo much stuff in advance it’s hilarious PLUS in order to avoid spoilers she asks people to comment fake spoilers so she doesn’t know if they’re real which is a fun way to interact with a reactor.
Also Scottish.
Update: is caught up and has managed to snag the spot as my favorite reactor for TOH
alyciadweeb
Solid, enjoyable reactions. Is very freaked out by the Boiling Isles’ weirdness while having strong feelings about the character journeys, both of which make for fun content.
