hi! what’s your favorite dbz saga? i’m just curious! i think mine is the cell saga, mainly bc of gohan’s big moment but also because perfect cell had me about to act up LMAO
ohoho i'm SO glad you asked!!!!!
*inhales*
my FAVORITE sagas will always be the saiyan saga and the frieza saga. and that's because if you watch the series from the VERY beginning of the story, OG dragon ball, everything that happens during saiyan arc hits SO MUCH HARDER. in OGDB they establish the strongest earth warriors, all the training they've gone through, and how difficult it was for young goku to defeat all the villains! esp tien and piccolo, who were established as formidable foes! then when saiyan saga comes, we find out the reason kid goku was so OP was because he's a fucking ALIEN WARRIOR & his brother comes and basically solos everyone?! then when mf vegeta and nappa pull up the z fighters stand no chance, they drop one by one, the fighters we thought were the strongest just fucking DIE, and they couldn't just rely on using the dragon balls to bring everyone back because PICCOLO WAS GONE TOO. the stakes were SO MUCH HIGHER and mfs actually took shit seriously!!!
then ofc there's the frieza saga, which (in my humble opinion) is the BEST fight in all of dragon ball except for broly. frieza is also my fave dragon ball villain of all time. and i say that because again, stakes were high, we didn't fucking know if goku could defeat frieza for sure despite all the training, namek was ABOUT TO EXPLODE and these mfs are fighting for their damn lives, lightning exploding around them, magma splashing at their feet, EVERYTHING WAS SO FUCKING INTENSE AND THEN ALL OF A SUDDEN GOKU BECOMES SUPER SAIYAN???? theeee super saiyan legend??? that first transformation was COLD AF & nothing will ever compare to that!!!!
speaking of tranformations, thats one of the reasons i like early DBZ more than late dbz/dbs. no transformations, no colorful hair, no power ups, mfs had to rely on all their training and experience to win and the fights kept you on your toes because you truly did not know how things would play out.
oh and lastly another reason early DBZ rocks is because we get evil vegeta. he's bad af, killing like its nothing, solos young goku (&honestly he wouldve beaten him easily if goku's friends hadnt been there) and is just a ruthless fucking bastard. i'm so in love with him. he could snap my spine and i'd die smiling. redemption arc vegeta is cool too but saiyan/namek arc vegeta has my whole fucking heart.
UGH! i fucking love this show.

My Top 5 Vegebul Reads of 2020
1. Never Ever Land By: DragonBabeZee
Unfinished, Au, Rated M
Author Description: A young Bulma embarks on an unexpected adventure with Goku, Krillin and a certain orphaned Prince. Not really as kid-friendly as a Disney film, hence the M rating for language, themes and hopefully some blood, guts and sexual content! Teens, Tweens and Saiyans set off together in a mess of crossed purposes. This one starts off light...
My Description: So this is literally my favorite fic! The way the author describes the settings is amazing. It’s basically an au where vegeta comes to Earth because he’s running away from Frieza with Nappa, Broly, and Raditz. Although it’s not finished it’s still beautifully written and teen Vegeta is a real treat. I’m sure you’ll enjoy it!
2. Lab Monkey by: TemptingTemptation
Finished, Au, Rated M
Author description: Before Vegeta could escape from Earth, Bulma captures him. She now has the deadly prince caged in her labs. What will she do now?
My description: If you like Evil Vegeta this fic is for you! Sure Vegeta is great and all in DBS but in the Namek saga I found him more entertaining being that he was evil. This is a edgy fic with a bit of gore but the development of Vegeta is wonderful.
3. Choices by: saijanbulma
Finished, Au, Rated M
Author description: It was choice that originally took him to Earth, a choice to defy orders and take control of his own life. But for every decision we make there is a splinter universe in which we didn't, in which we took the other road. This is a story about one of the other roads. Radditz doesn't go to Earth. Bulma doesn't go to Namek. Goku never died when he was meant to and the Earth never has a chance to prepare for Freeza's forces by the time they finally absorb it. Bulma is abducted and forced to reproduce Capsule Tech. Vegeta is the last of his race struggling to endure a life of subjugation under his tormentor. There are rebel forces, intergalactic space battles and the retelling of one of anime and manga's favourite love stories. We are defined by the choices we make. That sentiment, though not original, provides both the title and premise for this alternate universe work about one of the most intriguing pairings in, well, the universe.
My Description: So yeah I love space fics and...?
Anyways I loved reading this fic. I’m a sucker for evil Veggie. You’ll live this fic if you do too. Kind of a dark one though.
4. Modern Saiyan by: Elbordonyembellisher77
Unfinished but regular recent updates, three year gap fic with a twist, rated M
Author description: When Vegeta came back after learning Goku was still lost to them in space, that was when the fun officially began for the residents at Capsule Corporation. He trained so hard most days, it was a wonder he could even function normally outside of the Gravity Room. When he wasn’t pushing himself to impossible limits in the GR, he was demanding, impatient, and all-around owning every bit of his namesake. He was a Prince, all right. And you can bet Bulma was going to test this Saiyan royal with every ounce of impudence and rebelliousness she could manage to get away with. Glimpse back into the past, and follow our favorite cast on this wild new take on the present timeline! This fic will explore life on Earth and then eventually venture to Vegetasei, where my primary focus for writing this will be. (If you like language-building fanfics, this is right up your alley.) -Regular updates on Saturday-
My description: All in all a great fic so far! I especially love that she updates regularly. There’s a little OOC it’s just he’s a little less cold and distant for Vegeta but all in all it’s our beloved Veggie. If you like Vegetasai culture fics this ones for you the author creates a lot of Vegetasai lore and explores the whole “mating” idea. We also get some possessive Veggie in there too. One of my recent reads.
5. Pillow Talk by: Embarassedbutkinky
Three year gap fic, unfinished but regular updates, Rated M
Author description: We rarely see tender moments between Bulma and Vegeta, but they have been together a long time. At some point they have to speak to each other, and it's most likely after sex when they're lying in bed. This is the story of their relationship told from mostly pillow talk, starting during the three year gap and stretching into their married life.
My description: This fic is an ongoing thing it’s something to read when you miss the show. It’s basically the daily lives of our two favs and the writes some good smut ngl. All in all I enjoy this fic on a regular basis.
So if you guys want me to do another one of these lists just let me know! And also feel free to comment on this post and let me know what you think of these fics I’d really appreciate it. Thanks for reading guys!

24 things Why Dragon Ball Z is better than Dragon Ball Super
No offense for those who are newcomers or long time fans, but there are times it didn’t felt like the anime show I grow up with as a 90’s kid. DBS has change a lot of things... for better or worst. Hell, Super make Goku more dumber than being the honorable and noble warrior from the original English Dub. Here’s my reasons why DBZ is better than Dragon Ball Super:
- brutally, dismemberment, and blood spilling
- Videl as a badass Tomboy than a weak housewife
- Gohan grown from a scared kid to a warrior with such potential
- Piccolo as a more prominent character
- Vegeta’s anti hero role with some badass one liners
- Tien, Yamcha, and Krillin being relevants throughout the arcs, except the Buu Saga
- Bruce Fauconer’s scores
- Emotional and dramatic moments that makes us fans tear up. Especially you can feel sympathetic towards our beloved characters like Vegeta or Piccolo.
- Intense battles, carnage, and destruction
- Future Trunks’s muscular tone and purple hair
- Pikkon and the Otherworld combatants
- Non-Canon villains from movies (Cooler, DBZ Broly, Hirudegarm, Janemba, etc)
- Frieza Saga
- Son Goku given a more noble/heroic role than his original continuity.
- King Kai’s Training (including a few training scenes in the Hyperbolic Time Chamber and the Gravity Simulation Room)
- Z-Fighters vs the Ginyu Force (both on Namek and King Kai’s Planet)
- TV Specials (Bardock: The Father of Goku and the History of Trunks) that are tied to the main arcs
- Dead Zone movie that felt directly tied to the Garlic Jr Saga.
-Bardock with his green armor and his badass red bandanna.
- Dragon Ball Z: Battle of Gods and Resurrection ‘F’ stories is originally made by Akira Toriyama before being reintroduced in Dragon Ball Super.
- Less of the humor, more of the seriousness and roast words
- Launch was present in DBZ (for a little while, better than nothing).
- Everyone's power was more balanced (more relevant like you said). Not something bad from ToP like "I trained offscreen".
- Krillin being a supportive sidekick to Goku and Gohan

Part #1: Flight of the Movie & Anime References
This section is pretty much setup for the next three essays. There’s a couple sections here that I have a fair bit to say about, but probably just as many where I’ll close out with some minor observations, or reference to someone else’s Good Post(tm).
What I think is important is noting the consistency and similarity with which Homestuck engages in meaningful reference. I just want you to have this list in mind as I flesh out the three truly impactful references I want to talk about in this series.
So here’s a short list of cases where Homestuck outright leans on other stories to structure itself, with accompanying references:
1) The Game Over Arc - Plot Structure & Dragon Ball Z
We’re starting with Dragon Ball Z because the references here are relatively simple and straightforward, and they largely set up either pretty clear structural parallels, rather than thematic ones.
The clearest of these examples is the section of the story that begins with the joke Arquius makes above. In case you don’t know, the “over 9000″ meme has its roots in this iconic, hilarious sequence from DBZ:
youtube
What’s notable is what follows. From the moment this joke happens, the very structure of Homestuck changes to following the loose structure of some of the most memorable DBZ arcs.
I’m no buff on the series, but the memories it calls up for me most strongly resemble the Namek/Freeza or Buu arcs, and expert DBZ consultant @alotofmomos (who hates me for writing this) confirms these are the arcs that most perform the particular structure Homestuck will now be mimicking.
And what does that structure consist of? A particular mix of “pacing” choices, cinematography, and sheer scale of spectacle that I find hard to source to anything but DBZ. I can’t even think of other Shonen series that mix all these elements in quite the same way, though again, I’m no expert.
Some of these elements are:
A) Drawn out, massive power-up sequences:
Tumblr media Tumblr media
youtube
B) Conflicts that carry out on planetary scales, and indeed often destroy the planets hosting them.
Tumblr media
youtube
This pretty much speaks for itself, doesn’t it? Do I really have to say some stuff to make it look like I’m doing anything other than pointing out some obvious goddamn parallels that blew my mind because they took me years to notice?
Alright, fine. I’ll say this much: I think it’s quite fitting that Homestuck would borrow from the DBZ playbook for the section of the story that illustrates the sheer mind-boggling scale of power our protagonists have reached.
There’s very few stories out there that demonstrate this sense of mortals achieving such bonkers dominion over reality through sheer force of will, and the homage certainly hammers home the idea that these kids are Gods with levels of power we’ve barely scratched the surface of.
But I don’t think there’s a big Narrative Payoff to this particular reference. Instead, I think what Homestuck takes from this is functional in terms of narrative. Because the most interesting things this narrative model adopts are structural.
C) Convenient plot-structure.
Namely, what we end up with is a bunch of characters grouped into disparate conflicts across the same larger “playing field”, separated by considerable amounts of distance--and thus, isolating them into distinct narratives.
Tumblr media
As a natural consequence of this, the pacing slows down to an excruciatingly slowness, as we cut from conflict to conflict, each one progressing in small snippets of minutes or even seconds at a time. All of this is par for the course for Dragon Ball Z, particularly in the Namek saga.
So what this provides us with isn’t a profound, revelatory moment of thematic meaning--but instead, an effective backdrop on which to flesh out that meaning elsewhere. In fact, this very arc does that like twice with two other stories!
So let's move on from this and take a look at a couple of character arcs whose resolutions are telegraphed by way of reference.
2) Terezi as Dorothy
Tumblr media Tumblr media
I don’t have too much to add to this, but it’s useful because in the eyes of much of the fandom, it’s already accepted. Check out madchen’s excellent post on the subject here.
The bottom line is: Terezi janks Jade’s shoes, and adopts the role of Dorothy in Homestuck’s symbol logic. This leads her home--to Vriska and their memories of growing up together, and ultimately to embracing her red feelings for her.
Terezi’s resolution is one of two relationships resolved in the wake of [S] Game Over. Let’s take a look at the other.
3) Jake as Buttercup
Tumblr media
Don’t have much to say about this one either, cause I already wrote most of it. I will say I don’t think it’s an accident that the arcs to coincide here are Dirkjake’s and Vrisrezi’s, since the two relationships are in many ways direct parallels. But that’s another essay for another time.
I have received some rightful criticism on my writing on Jake in particular, and this is a good place to clarify my position, however. I do not think it’s particularly “Good” or “Healthy” for Jake to indulge his own desires at the expense of Dirk’s (or Jane’s) feelings.
My point has never been that Jake’s selfish behavior is inherently good--merely that Jake’s reasons for being in love with Dirk are his own, and not imposed to him from Dirk himself, or anyone around him.
As with all things in Homestuck, the key is for Jake to grapple with the negatives in himself and come to balance with the tension between his own wants and his relationships with others. This is true of literally everyone in Homestuck.
And there’s an easier way of saying what I am getting at. Because Homestuck literally gives us a guidebook to understanding Jake and Dirk’s relationships to each other, as parsed in Jake’s head--a guidebook that provides context to their entire relationship.
youtube
Just as you can read Terezi as Dorothy, so too can you read Jake as Buttercup. This is the crucial distinction I seek to make. In common readings of Dirk and Jake’s relationship, Jake acquiesces to Dirk’s pushy forcing of the relationship despite Dirk’s control issues.
In this one, Dirk is a flawed but committed provider and protector, and Jake picks up on and begins internalize a belief that Dirk will always be there for him, prompting him to fall for him. This reflects the fundamental core of their attraction to each other. It does not present a solution to their communication issues. They both have to work through that and be more aware of each other’s needs.
Now, The Princess Bride is a comedy action-adventure movie, but it’s also a philosophical fairy tale. Buttercup and Westley aren’t just in love, they’re in True Love, and the driving force of the movie is how Westley’s love empowers him to do anything it takes for his beloved.
What’s more interesting is Buttercup’s relationship to that same love, and how it reflects on Jake. Buttercup has to struggle to learn how to believe in True Love, even when it seems difficult or even impossible. Along the way, Buttercup is even forced into an arranged marriage, and seemingly forsakes her feelings for Westley to avoid the consequences of being honest, a choice she then tortures herself over.
A big part of her journey is learning to truly commit to not just Westley’s love for her, but her belief in that love as something both true and powerful. Something that can transcend all odds and obstacles.
Tumblr media
Which is. You know. Exactly what Jake does when he’s fully immersed in the power of his own faith.
Now let’s move on, and note two more movie references that the comic makes outside of the context of this DBZ-mini arc.
4) Tavros as Peter Pan
Tumblr media
There’s not a terrible amount of depth to be drawn here, either. I think most people accept that Tavros is deliberately invoking Peter Pan in his narrative victory here, with the ghosts as his Lost Boys.  I will add, however, that if Peter Pan is the role Tavros is emulating in reaching his full potential, well...
Peter Pan isn’t exactly known for being Selfless, is he? He’s a hero, for sure, but self-centeredness is pretty much his calling card as a hero. To the point that Wikipedia claims that
“In the play and book, Peter symbolizes the selfishness of childhood, and is portrayed as being forgetful and self-centered.”
More fuel for the fire as far as my writing on Tavros as inherently self-centered in his building of the Ghost Army goes. Anyway, the fundamental reference is secured, right? I’m not really looking to make a Classpect argument here, I’m just compiling interesting notes. Let’s move on.
5) Caliborn as Jigsaw
Tumblr media Tumblr media
This one isn’t exactly subtle, either. I’ve already written quite a bit about how Lord English defines and dominates everything in the story of Homestuck, as have others.
Understanding Caliborn as a Yaldabaoth is one way to contextualize his power over the reality all the characters preside over, and we’ll definitely touch on that further in the next three sections I’ll be covering.
But one easy way to contextualize Lord English’s power is as...well...Jigsaw.
Like Jigsaw, Lord English builds a massive, highly controlled gauntlet that he exploits and terrorizes his victims through. The only difference is that Lord English’s dungeon is bigger than some creepy gray cellar.
It is in fact, Literally Everything that occurs within the context of the Alpha Timeline. Every homeworld that every character originates from--except for, arguably, Beforus, which is still under his sway enough to be doomed, but also presented as borderline Eden-like by comparison to Alternia.
While Yaldabaoth’s control seems very distant and abstract, Jigsaw’s is crystal clear and vicious. Everything the characters of SAW suffer is, ultimately, in the hands of the orchestrator of their misery. Their puppetmaster, so to speak.
In the same sense, pretty much every single way the characters in Homestuck suffer has Lord English at the root of it--even the thing they do to themselves and each other as a result of cultural memes.
Troll Violence, heteronormativity, quadrant normativity, and hypermasculinity--all are memetic structures that exist because Lord English himself disseminated them, in the context of Homestuck. They’re thought-traps rather than literal physical torture devices, but they’re torture tools all the same.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
And you can even see Jigsaw as a symbol for Lord English’s influence, since it is, after all, one of the primary differences setting apart Bro and Dirk. Dirk has no interest in the SAW franchise at all, whereas Bro makes a point of mocking Dave with it.  (thanks to @jadedresearcher for pointing this out, by the way!)
So yeah. Not only does SAW tell us a lot about the nature of Caliborn’s effect on our characters through the Alpha Timeline, it also acts as a mark for his influence. That’s...pretty much all there is to say on the matter.
For now.
That wraps up this little introductory round-up. Now I can get to talking about three of the biggest influences on Homestuck as a story: The Neverending Story (the book), Earthbound & Mother 3, and Gnostic Myth. Hope you’ll follow along with us over the next couple of weeks to find out more.

You’re my everything
Summary: After the defeat of Majin Buu, Goku vowed to return home and settle down with his family, once again. However, after seven long years without her husband, Chi-Chi has serious doubts about where his heart truly lies. Can Goku show his wife that he still loves her, just as deeply as ever and is here to stay, no matter what?
A/N: My submission for GoChi Week 2017, "Prompt 2: Longing" (read the fanfiction.net version here).
Surprise gift for my friend PrincessChiChi99 (slightly based on some of the discussions I've had with her, @saiyanb, @maiikawriter and a few others, in the past). The is my first attempt at a GoChi fic in two years, so please go easy xD. Also feel free to check out my other GoChi fic. :D
You're my everything:
Majin Buu was at last defeated, thanks to the combative calibre of Goku, the tactical prowess of Vegeta and the staunch bravery of Mr. Satan and the redeemed, rotund alter-ego of that pink fiend. More so, all the inhabitants of Earth and the planet Namek owed themselves a huge commendation, for having generously offered up a share of their Ki, in order to help vanquish the sinister being that threatened the entire cosmos. The world could take a deep, reposing breath and revel in the peace that it had finally earned.
A short while after the hard-fought victory, all the heroes who'd gathered together on Kami's lookout, returned home with their respective families, deciding to take the rest of the day to reorganize themselves, before the morrow's celebration. A lot of answers and explanations were due, by two hotheaded women in particular, namely, Chi-Chi and Bulma. Vegeta knew he'd be on the receiving end of a verbal whiplashing, from his shrewish wife, for the callous cruelty he'd exhibited, during the Martial-Arts tournament as well as the extenuating explosion that followed, in his first fight against Buu. Goku, on the other hand, was as clueless and complacent as always. However, hours later in his humble above of Mount Paozu, the rustic Saiyan felt increasingly perturbed. Though Chi-Chi was initially head-over-heels at the prospect of her husband returning home and settling down with her and the family, she barely knew how to act around him, once the early sense of excitement died down.
For seven-anguished years, the Ox Princess had to raise her children all by herself, longing for the presence of her beloved, while he was off larking in Otherworld. Such thoughts and misgivings flooded her mind, as she lay in bed, staring up at the ceiling, in contemplation.
"What's wrong, Chi-Chi?" Goku asked, concern and worry lacing his vividly dark irises, as he gazed upon his wife. Chi-Chi gave him a fleeting glance, before her eyes returned to the ceiling.
"It's just- I don't understand why you left me alone, for all those years." She muttered forlornly. "You're here now and I can't even begin describing how happy I am to have you back, but-"
She paused, a moment.
"But- what?" Goku pressed.
"I don't know, but for some reason, I can't help but think that if I stare at you for too long, you'll just disappear." She let out a dejected sigh. "It's weird, I know, but even then-"
"Hey, I'm not going anywhere." The burly Saiyan vowed, girding his sinewy arms around his wife. "I promise."
Chi-Chi was unable to suppress the distinct shudder of pleasure that escaped, as she found herself trapped within the loving clutches of her happy-go-lucky husband. All those doleful years, she'd yearned for this moment, to be held inside those strapping arms once more and now that it had finally arrived, she hardly knew what to do or how she could possibly handle it, if he decided to up-and-leave her, yet again. With a breath of surrender, she wiggled about in his grasp, till they were face to face.
"You say that now, but do you realize how difficult it's been for me, these last seven years?" She wound her slender arms, around his muscled neck, her lips quivering and eyes glistening, with unshed tears. "Sleeping on a cold, empty bed all by myself, every single night and watching Goten grow up, without his father? What made it even worse was that he looks just like you. Every time I saw him, he reminded me of you and everything you were missing. It broke my heart, knowing that you weren't there to see him come into this world, to hear his first words and to watch him, take his first steps. Heck, until recently, you weren't even aware of his existence. No matter how powerful you are, Goku, you can never bring back those moments. They're lost forever."
The Saiyan could only stare at her apologetically, as a minute of tense silence swam by.
"I- I never really thought about it that way, Chi-Chi." He confessed, eyes downcast in abjection, consumed by sheer remorse. "I- I thought I was protecting you."
"You thought wrong!" The raven-haired woman exclaimed, somewhat bitterly. "Hurting me was bad enough, but what about Gohan?! The poor kid spent a whole year, blaming himself for your stupid decisions! Do you even know just how much he looks up to you, how much he loves you?!"
Goku's heart sank to his stomach. He honestly hadn't expected such a strong reaction, from her.
"Are- are you upset that I decided to come back?" The Saiyan asked, in a defeated voice. At those words, Chi-Chi's expression instantly softened.
"No, of course not." She replied, placing a hand on his cheek and running her thumb along the hardened crook of his jawline. "What upsets me is that you left in the first place." She continued, more sombrely. "You say it won't happen again, but how can I believe that, after all this time?"
Another short pause followed, before Goku decided to say say his piece.
"Chi-Chi, I'll probably never understand how hard it was for you and looking back, I know that I definitely made the wrong decision."
"More like the worst decision." The Ox Princess rolled her eyes. "But, at least you admit it, so I guess that's a start."
"What I did wasn't to avoid you, it was to protect you, even if that meant giving you up." He earnestly stated. "Believe me when I say this, it was really hard for me too. You have no idea how much I missed both you and Gohan."
"How can you say that, when-"
"Please, Chi-Chi, just let me finish." The Saiyan went on. "At the time, I thought that by staying in Otherworld, villains would be less likely to attack the planet and in the off-chance that it did happen, Gohan would be strong enough to take care of it. But, I suppose coming back here and seeing things for myself, helped me realize just how badly I'd miscalculated."
"Oh?" Chi-Chi quirked a brow. "How so?"
"Well, despite his amazing potential, I see now, just how much Gohan hates fighting." He replied. "He just doesn't have the same passion for it that Vegeta and I do, for example. If he'd used these seven years to train, he'd easily be stronger than the both of us combined, but I understand now that he has other priorities and I shouldn't come in the way of that, nor should I expect him to fight the bad guys, while I'm off, having adventures in Otherworld. He doesn't need that burden on his shoulders, not when he has other dreams." The Ox-Princess couldn't help the smile that lit her face, at his acknowledgment. She'd never expected such words to escape his mouth, not ever. It made her heart radiate with joy. "It's my responsibility to protect you all and I know I can't do that, by being absent. I looked on from Otherworld, when Majin Buu killed you and afterwards, did the same thing to Krillin, Bulma and everyone else, all because I wasn't there to stop him." He grimaced at the horrendous memory. "I'm so sorry that it took so long for me to realize my mistakes, but that's why I'm here now, Chi-Chi. I know I don't say it very often, but I really do love you." Goku fastened his hold around her, as her smile grew bigger. "I'll always protect you, no matter what happens. You're everything to me."
"Oh, Goku." She cried, tightening her own hold around him, as she nuzzled her face in the recess of his neck and wept a stream of joyous tears. "I love you too."
"I know Chi-Chi, I know." He smiled broadly, rubbing her back up and down. Seconds later, she pulled back and pressed her lips against his. Eyes widening a moment, Goku chuckled and kissed back, re-familiarizing himself with the alluring process, before steadily slipping his tongue inside the warm caverns of her mouth and roving about, as he reveled in her fine, luscious taste. His hands roamed downwards, running along her soft, smooth contours of her thighs, before firmly grasping her rear end. Just as he was about to slide his fingers beneath her panties, however, Chi-Chi took hold of his wrist.
"Wait Goku, I-"
"What's wrong?" He asked. Usually it was her that initiated the "fun stuff" and she'd never rejected his advances, in the past.
"It's nothing, I just- I don't know, I just don't want to do this so soon." She said. "I'm still getting used to you being here, so let's not exceed second base, just yet. I wanna savor this and build slowly, till it feels right, know what I'm saying?"
"Okay sure, no problem hehe." The Saiyan let out a goofy laugh.
"That's my Goku." She smiled and captured his lips in another kiss. It would certainly take a great deal of effort to make up for all the lost time and memories and while it did sadden her that it took all these years for her husband to finally acknowledge the true depths of his blunders, she was glad he did and she truly hoped that it made him a better person.
A/N: Hope you guys enjoyed! Had a lot of fun, with this one!
I know there're a lot of contentions, with regards to whether or not Goku ever kissed Chi-Chi, but this is based primarily on the DBZ script, not DBS. In DBZ he does kiss Chi-Chi, off-screen, during the Androids saga, which is confirmed in Daizenshuu, so uh- yeah. Plus, I prefer it that way xD (what married couple doesn't kiss?). :D
Lastly, a big thanks to @redasuki and the others, for organizing this event! :D
