Horikoshi obviously loves Star Wars, and I feel like he might outdo Lucas in how many characters lose limbs in a franchise, depending on how this keeps going. Especially since not all of the battles are wrapped up yet.

I realized because of chapter 409 that I should probably mention that my interest in theories about Katsuki and Izuku sharing OFA in the manga has never been about Katsuki measuring up. I never thought, "oh, this needs to happen or else there's no way they can realistically fight as a team."

My interest in the concept is really about intimacy, and the symbolism of it as relieving a lonely burden. So much of what we've learned from the lives of OFA's previous users and how they talk about the power emphasizes the relationships between/among them all, and yet, the assumption has always been that the torch needs to be passed on and on until OFA has achieved its ultimate purpose, of defeating AFO. But like... what if the beauty is in the thing itself, not its ''''''destiny.''''' It reminds me of the unanswered question this story has posed at various points: what is a hero without a villain to oppose them?

Izuku and Katsuki have been caught in a confusing dance of emotions for such a long time, both grasping for a far-off, abstract goal to become the greatest, without realizing they were actually grasping for each other. The narrative is begging for a point of unity like two opposite magnetic poles, a millimeter apart.

From the end of Heroes Rising, how it was an idea Horikoshi originally planned for the manga, how he reacted to watching the movie with tears and a flood of inspiration to do even better... we can safely assume he also feels this pull. If you follow the theme of these past few chapters which center Katsuki's growth, you can see that Horikoshi has already removed any question of Katsuki's strength and ability to be Izuku's equal, regardless of OFA. Now, you could argue that this means he plans on rejecting the OFA sharing idea, but Katsuki's line at the end of 409 stands as a direct conflict with OFA's basic principals, because he has grown adamant about the necessity of shared responsibility. Izuku doesn't just need help. He needs someone who is strong enough to free him from the curse of OFA’s power.

I'm glad the Hawks' vestige is leading the quirk rebellion inside of AFO, had a feeling that was going to happen eventually, but where is Stain's? Shouldn't he be in there too?

If there's a rebellion happening he should be a part of it, especially since he's who inspired more than half of the League to join and rebel against hero society. I need to see him in there kicking child AFO's ass to save HIS All Might.
