Some Q&A with the former teammates of Hinata Shoyo and Kageyama Tobio, as seen in the Haikyuu magazine!

*AS ALWAYS I’m still learning the language and cannot guarantee complete accuracy!

Note: I’m only translating questions that contain new info!

Are you playing volleyball these days?

Sawamura Daichi: I rarely ever touch a ball, but I do go watch matches every now and then.

Sugawara Koushi: I’ll sometimes play with my grade school students. I feel like that’s the time when I get the most respect from them, so I have mixed feelings.

Azumane Asahi: Rarely. I watch the live broadcasts for my friends’ and kouhai’s matches.

Tanaka (Shimizu) Kiyoko: We have a ball at home, so yes, on occasion. We also watch live matches often.

Nishinoya Yuu: I carry a ball on me, so I’ll play with anyone whenever I get the chance.

Tanaka Ryuunosuke: I will if I’m teaching a volleyball class, or messing around at home sometimes, stuff like that.

Ennoshita Chikara: I don’t play myself, but once in a while I’ll treat volleyball players at my practice.

Kinoshita Hisashi: I don’t really get the chance to play, but I occasionally watch live matches.

Narita Kazuhito: I play from time to time, since I was invited by a local group. I can’t jump anymore and it’s depressing.

Tsukishima Kei: I’m a volleyball player, so…

Yamaguchi Tadashi: I check out all the matches that my friends are in!

Yachi Hitoka: I go to matches and watch live broadcasts and stuff.

Could you tell us how you became an adventurer?

I’d been thinking, I’ve always wanted to try going to all sorts of places, and it happened before I knew it.

What are some memorable anecdotes from your adventure so far?

In America I randomly played beach volleyball with this one older guy who was super good at it. Turns out it was Nicolas Romero.

What would you like to try in the future?

Gather people to go to the North Pole for some snow volleyball!

Tsukishima Kei

Is there a team or player you would like to play against now?

I don’t particularly want to compete.

Compared to your high school days, in which areas have you personally grown between then and now?

Stamina… and serving, I suppose.

If you would, tell us about your goals for the future?

To keep playing without any injuries.

Ennoshita Chikara X fem reader

Note: It's been a while since I last wrote something and I'm just now getting the motivation to write something. I hope you enjoy

The second-year boys of Karasuno's volleyball team were walking through the hallways. When they noticed Kiyoko talking to a girl, Tanaka and Nishinoya quickly rushed toward her. Both jumped in the air to hug her.

"SENPAI!"

Seeing who was shouting both Kiyoko and her friend moved to the side. Leaving both boys to face plant onto the floor. Ennoshita and the other two boys caught up to the group. Annoyed by the small scene they caused, Ennoshita grabbed the two boys dragging them away and quickly apologizing to the two girls.

"I'm sorry Kiyoko-Senpai, I'll take these two away from you" Looking at the girl next to Kiyoko he recognized her face. She is in the same class as him and lives on the same street. 'Great leave it to these two to embarrass me in front of the cute girl in my class'

"I'll see you in class y/n" The girl waved shyly as her classmate walked away with his friends. Giggling slightly to herself she looked at her friend, noticing that she was smiling at her. "Why are you looking at me like that?" Kiyoko turned to look at where the group of boys walked. "You know Ennoshita? Also judging by the way you acted just now, you like him" Looking at her friend in shock, she quickly spoke. "You caught me. I like him, but I doubt "

The two girls kept talking not realizing the boys started talking about the mysterious girl Kiyoko was talking to.

Once the group of boys was a good distance away from the girls, Tanaka spoke up. "Who was that girl?" Ennoshita flinched realizing who Tanaka was talking about. Kinoshita smirked and turn to Ennoshita, "Yeah, Chikara who was that girl? You did say acknowledge her when we walked away." All the boys faced Ennoshita once Kinoshita said it.

"That girl is l/n y/n, she is a second-year in here."

"How do you know her exactly?" Asked Noya, chuckling Ennoshita spoke. "She is in my class, she is a shy one but once she gets to know you she is very fun to hang out with." "Oh boy! Look at this man Noya, Ennoshita found himself a lady friend." Smacking Tanaka's head he walked away. "I'm not admitting anything so knock it off." Heading towards his class, he heard his name being called. Turning to see the girl with H/c walk toward him. "Hey Ennoshita, do you want to hang out after school to complete our assignments?"

He looked at the girl in a dazed shocked by the sudden question. Snapping out of his frozen state he replied back. "I have volleyball after school but I can come after." "Sure sounds like a date." Both teens continued to their class with a blush growing on their faces after what y/n said.

'Did I seriously just say it was a date? He didn't deny it, that's got to be a good sign.'

'A date with l/n, that doesn't sound bad'

Sitting in the class focusing on the lessons ahead of them, the day went on. Soon it was the end of the day. Ennoshita was packing his stuff up noticing y/n doing the same and was ready to leave. Neither noticed the other second years waiting for him outside, seeing the two together they notice the girl walking toward their friend with a shy smile. "I'll see you later, right Chikara?" Returning her smile jokingly responded, "Yes I'll show up for our study date" The two laughed walking out of the class now facing the smirking members. Flustered realizing they just witnessed just happened, Y/n quickly ran off. Not without saying a quick goodbye to Ennoshita. Walking ahead of his friends ignoring their comments. Walking near the changing rooms the other members heard Tanaka and Noya teasing Ennoshita.

"Who knew you were such a lady's man Ennoshita"

"Yeah, you got a date with a hottie today man"

Entering the changing room, the others noticed Ennoshita's slightly red face. Daichi quickly spoke up, "Okay calm down you guys. Now one of you guys explain why Ennoshita's face is red?" Ennoshita quickly changed and rushed toward the gym to avoid hearing what they got to say. He noticed Kiyoko looking at him with a soft smile. Signing he spoke, "Let me guess you know too?" Nodding, she spoke, "Yeah I was the one to motivate her to finally ask you out." Shocked by what she said, he asked a question that was lingering in his head all day, "Does Y/n like me in a romantic sense?" "She does, she's had a crush on you for a while." A goofy smile appeared on his face, knowing that he might have a chance. "I'm glad to know the feelings are mutual" The other members entered the gym to start practice, not without noticing the change in behavior from Ennoshita.

Once practice was over Ennoshita quickly entered the changing room and left. Shouting at his friends as he was running off.

"Wish me luck!"

"Good luck!"

He started slowing down once he reached the street they both lived. Y/n noticed him outside her window and rushed out of her room to open the door. Opening the door, a smile appears on both of the teens' faces. "You made it, I was getting worried" "I wouldn't miss an opportunity to hang out with you" Allowing the boy into her house, the two got their assignments out and started working on work. Making small talk, and enjoying the other's presence.

'Maybe I should ask her to be my girlfriend.'

After a while y/n checked the time and noticed how late it is. "We should probably wrap this up. You're probably tired from practice." Standing up to organize her paperwork, Ennoshita did the same packing his bag and realizing he should ask her the question. The pair walked to her front door and pausing he looked at her.

'I can do this, I just need to ask her'

"Hey, y/n there is one question I don't know the answer to." Looking at the boy in front of her, "Sure what's the question?" Noticing his face slowly becoming nervous, she started to have hope.

'Is he going to ask me what I think he is going to ask?'

"Do you want to be my girlfriend?"

Looking at her for a response, any second he will crumble from nerves. Then suddenly he was tackled in a hug, wrapping his arms around her. "I would love to be your girlfriend Chikara" The two laugh in relief. "I should go, sleep well ok. Good night y/n"

"Good night Chikara"

The next day the boys just finished morning practice, when they all entered the locker room. When Noya started talking, "So Chikara how did your study date go?" Not hearing a response the boys turned to where Ennoshita was only to see he wasn't there. Only to hear two people laughing outside. The boys peeked out the door to see Ennoshita hug y/n giving her a kiss on the head. Making the girl flustered and hide her face. Grabbing one of her hands, interlocking their fingers they started walking to class.

"Looks like Chikara got himself a girlfriend"

"They do make a cute couple"

FIVE KISSES PT. 1 | The Book MASTERPOST

Chikara bends over to squint at the novel on your coffee table. The book is propped open using one of the half-finished candles from the collection that overflows your bookshelves, and you’re firmly in your boyfriend’s arms—just like the book says.

“And then he…” His brow dips. “Do I really need to do this to you?”

With nothing to do during a weekend blizzard, you employed a combination of puppy-dog eyes and your very best pout to convince Chikara to reenact one of the scenes from the book you’ve been reading. When you dug out a prop sword from an old Halloween costume and pressed the hilt into his hands—blinking at him in the pleading way only you could—how could he say no?

“It’s a foam sword.” To prove your point, you squeeze your fingers into the soft blade until it comically bends backwards toward your boyfriend. “You’re not gonna hurt me or anything.”

“I know that,” he answers instantly. “But it just feels…”

“Silly?”

“Incredibly silly.”

“Just think of how I’ll look at you,” you offer, unable to stop yourself from bouncing on the balls of your feet. Chikara’s hand is firm on your hip even when his expression is skeptical, and his eyes warily follow each of your smallest movements.

“You look at me all the time,” he deadpans.

“Not from the other end of a sword.”

He lets out a long-suffering sigh. You just smile at him, watching as he tilts his head to look at the foam sword in his right hand, then glances at you through his eyelashes. Silence ticks by with your and his breathing as the only interruption, and then he takes half a step back and inclines his chin.

“Princess,” he says quietly, somehow able to tame his lips into not twitching with laughter as he lowers his voice just a touch, which sends your stomach into an endless somersault. All of a sudden, you feel warm and light; heat blooms on your cheeks and your head spins in a way that feels surreal.

“Let me look at you,” he continues, each word slow and almost sultry. And then he does it: even though you notice a hint of shy hesitation, he touches the tip of the foam sword to the underside of your chin and tilts your head up, forcing you to look at him.

You feel it as your eyes widen, your breath catches, and the whole world feels dreamy and perfect. Your heart pounds—and you watch Chikara’s eyes widen when he sees the look on your face.

There’s supposed to be another line, but you forget what it is even though you’ve read it a dozen or more times. Instead, something in the air shifts: Chikara reaches for you with a sudden need, replacing the foam sword with his hand and pulling your lips up to his.
