Hi so I have another yandere platonic class 1-a request again if that’s okay

So if Izuku has a cousin(female reader) who has pica (it’s a eating disorder which a person eats things not usually considered food) and she would eat easer shavings because her mother would just ignored her when she was a child and when she was in middle school she ran away to Izuku’s house but never really told anyone about what was happening. So here’s a scenario of Izuku and some of class 1-a walks into a her room and sees her eating some eraser shavings

How would they react? ((I hope this is okay)

(THE FACT THAT I HAVE PICA AS WELL AHHHHH THIS IS GONNA BE SO GOOD )

• You had this habit for as long as you remember, you always ate things that weren't food or even edible, the main reason is that your mother was always neglectful to bringing in men and just told you to go in your room and play with your toys without any food, at times you even had to sneak out the house and go to your aunty Inko house with your cousin izuku, Inko knew about your situation and took care of you like you were her child

• "Izuku dear your cousin is here!" Inko's mom called not even 3 seconds you heard little footsteps stomping and excited giggling getting louder "Y/N Y/N! YOU'RE HERE" Izuku ran up and tackled you with a hug, 2 of you were on the ground and started giggling "I bought my super cool Remote control robot with me we can pretend this is the villain and we're the heroes!" The green boy was amazed at the idea and the two of you ran off while Inko giggled to herself

•The 1st person to notice that you had pica was your auntie Inko she noticed how you were always chewing on things like scissors, dirt, or even paper at 1st she thought it was because you were just a child with a big appetite but even when you were full you still went back to this behavior so when she took you to the quirk doctor about this behavior after a few test you were diagnosed with pica so then on after your mother abandoned you with one of the playboys she started taking care of you and izuku

• one-day Bakugo was picking on you for this calling you a dirt eater and picking up worms "Come on Sissy eat it you like eating dirt so much eat it" mocking you to eat them but you used his quirk to make him fly back and the two of you gone at it punching, pulling, biting while the other kids were cheering on but izuku was worried so he tried to run over but was too scared to get hurt as well so he got into and Mitsuki, Both women ran over and broke you two apart while into was checking on ur bruises and scratches mitsuki grabbed katsuki and put him on his him while he struggled and kicked and yelled insults "Inko I am so so so sorry for my son's horrible behavior ill make sure he learns a lesson" Mitsuki bowed her head in front of inko "I'm sorry too ill make sure ill talk with this young lady here the 2 of you had a stern talk about it but you got some ice cream and izuku kiss your boo-boos and helped with putting on all might banaids

Years passed and now you were in Ua your cousin was more protective than you ever, since that incident he swore to always protect you and never leave you behind he worked extra hard when all might training him not only to become a number one hero but to protect you and to be heroes together! Whenever someone looked at you funny he gives them a deadly glare and they'll back off immediately you were there when he was down and he was gonna repay you back he always made you hold hands or be by you to remind you that he should be your only friend

While you were talking to your cousin while chewing on an eraser and your cousin ranting about all might and his notebook going to your next period. A short punk -haired girl stopped in front of the two of you she smiled at you while the both of you looked confused and Izuku looked tab annoyed "Uhh who are you-" "Hello! I'm Mina! Mina Ashido Are you two twins!?" She said observing you two looking at each other "Actually we're cousins!"

"Oh, I'm sorry! Mina sheepishly said while rubbing the back of her head "It's fine we get that a lot! It's normal for us plus we act like brother and sister!" You playfully hit Izuku in the shoulders while he playfully glared at you "Anyways! Me and my friends were talking alot about you and we wanted to invite you to hang out with us!" You were flattered and blushed at her comment "uh yeah I can join! Is that's ok izuku" Izuku wanted to protest but with the look of excitement on your face he didn't want you to hate him and see him as a bad brother cousin so he mentally rolled his eyes and said "yea plus it can be like a girls day for you!"

Time skip to lunch

• the two of you were walking into class when a short brown head girl waved her hand signaling you both to join her you both walked over and sat down "Hey izuku and you must be?" "Y/n, y/n Midoriya!" You introduce yourself making the girl brighten up "Ah how nice! You look so adorable!" You blushed embarrassingly at that comment "Ah stop it you're making me blush! You were soon introduced to iida and Tsuyu then Todoroki and all started chatting happily

•you were soon Introduce with kirishima, tokoyami, a silly goofball denki, Sero, hakagure, Aoyama and more and started to make a bond with them even amends with bakugo (kinda)

•you mostly hang out with the dekusquad but the bakusquad would always try to invite you in any way they can which starts a war

•the girls would always have slumber parties or tea parties and if you weren't interested in those chaotic board games where you mostly won

•the boys would try and team up with each other like Bakugo and Kirishima Denki and Sero would invite you to laser tag fighting over who would win the most points for you to get a prize or Izuku, shoto and iida would take you out on to the mall and spoil you

• one-day Tokoyami was looking for you because you promised you would read his poems so when he went into your room he saw you chewing on some paper you explained why you have this habit and you had it when you were 4 which he completely understood heck dark shadow started to eat paper (like cookie monster eating s cookie) you couldn't stop laughing when tokoyami tried to take the paper out his mouth

•Koda would watch you making sure you won't try to eat the grass and try to make you eat delicious berries and edible plants

•Sato pack some pastries for you whenever you felt like wanting to chew on something not edible

•bakugo would just smack whenever your chewing on telling you that's disgusting while giving you your favorite snackyou liked as kids saying "chew this shit instead of erasers dumbass!"

•Izuku would pack gum for you in case you fly in the urge to want to chew on your eraser if he runs out he lets you chew on his pencils or ask Aoyama to give you some cheese

•you and kiri literally are twins chewing your erasers is your favorite habit

•Momo would gently let you know how ite unhealthy to chew on thing and blah blah blah while your just over here chewing off your finger nail which she also has to stop you

• Ochaco will let you try and stop yourself from chewing on your hair desperately giving you one-dollar snacks to eat

a/n: my fav cod man is soap so this took my top priority!!! i think about this man a lot, 09 and reboot version. reboot is my fav though, realistically, he's who i would actually get with. here’s all the things i’ve thought about him, there’s probably more tbh… OK OK HERE :))

childhood hcs

johnny soap mactavish comes from a large family of 5 siblings, he's the second oldest. it's elsie, him, blair, callum, and olivia.

growing up in a family of mainly girls got him on that respect women juice. he would always have to make sure his younger siblings are ok and aren't you know, being bullied. his parents were adamant on 2 year age gaps between them all.

his cousin, jack, was an sas operator and that was what made him want to join. they had to call security forces to arrest him out at some point because he kept sneaking in to watch them do stuff lol

elsie left for uni with her bf to live in soho when johnny was 16, the same year he would talk to recruiters around his hometown, driving hours and then getting rejected the same day due to his age

9th grade (year 10) chemistry got him obsessed with stem and its *explosive* results. he aced chemistry and then took advanced chemistry and physics just because he loved it so much

after this, as soon as he turned 18, he went to sign his papers THEN graduated school (he's just like me fr). his mom was so worried for him, especially when her sister told her about the danger that jack would get himself into. in the end, he promised he'll always call her and his siblings

his dad's an ass, hes an alcoholic, a cheater, a *bitch*... he would always take the kids to church on sundays and twisted the religion into a reason for his behavior. claiming that johnny's mom being at home was just "their culture"

she makes a killer shepherd's pie though

always had had some sort of love-hate relationship with the catholic faith. on one hand, it was nice to know there's always at least someone watching out for him, but after hearing the constant belittlement from his father, claiming he wasn't "manly enough" for not willing to give his life up in the service, he started to resent the “all merciful”.

he ended up blaming god for all his faults, letting him take accountability. this especially happened when he got diagnosed with adhd when he was 17, his dad didn’t believe in mental health. his mom was only a bit better about it, they both refused meds for him.

he's bisexual, leans towards women though. found this out after a truth or dare game in junior year (year 12) and some beers in a closet

at one point, callum acccidently let it slip at dinner when johnny had first moved out that he had met a cute guy and their dad screamed and yelled at the whole family, especially their mom, about "raising a fucking whore of a son, dragging the family down to shite"

blair called and told johnny a few days later and johnny rushed his work as quickly as possible and begged his chain of command for a few days off to go back home to his family

his family gets loud…like really loud. there’s 7 people what do you expect?

it gets especially bad when it’s sunday morning and you gotta get 7 people awake and looking their church best for an hour and a half 😔

johnny is the quickest everything there is, which has its downsides too. he could run and swim the fastest in the family, but he was also the quickest eater…meaning he’s on dish washing duty. he’s quick at that too so by the time everyone’s finished, he’s washed all the other dishes that took to make dinner

broke his arm chasing a cat through someone’s yard (he was 14)

had a goat scream and kicked him because he wanted to give it a hug

he got a part time job at a local bakery in 10th grade (year 11). the pay wasn’t much but neither was the work really. olivia, who was 9 at the time, made him promise that he’ll get her a doll to have tea with. her tea set had 4 cups but only one of her, so she must get another one to join her! he kept his promise; he ended up getting three dolls for her

he can make amazing soda bread and brioche loafs now too, still keeps a starter from the owner of the bakery to this day

he had a mountain bicycle that he would take everywhere. had room behind his seat for packages and his backpack, which he would tie down. that thing had such a loud bell too, would ring constantly to “let people know hes coming and get ready”

was terrified of selkies for some reason, always had the window closed and made callum sleep by it while he slept by the door

wasn’t much of a troublemaker, but would get into trouble with his adventurous heart.

got lost in the woods once and after a while of fake courage, he sat down and cried until elsie found him. he was 20 yards (13 meters) away from the clearing 😭😭

personality & relationship hcs

johnny is such a fun lover. he’s handsome yeah, but what makes ppl flaunt over him is his humor. he’s what jessica rabbit said “he makes me laugh”

such a charismatic and charming person, gets it from his dad. he could talk about just about anything, also the type to strike up a conversation with a stranger at the grocery store. then end up with their number and a date or helping them dog sit

this isn’t always a good thing though, one time before he was medicated, he would talk on and on, his story becoming incoherent due to the amount of self-interruptions he made, that a group of guys got so annoyed at that pub, they punched him.

he was young, 19, and couldn’t fight, so he didn’t win and came back to the barracks with a nasty black eye

he likes to be the big spoon, has to hold something in order to sleep

feel like he’s the type to wrap his arms around a pillow and lay on his stomach to sleep

speaking of sleeping, he HATES sleeping with socks on. he tried it one day and he just shivered at the feel of it, woke up and his socks were missing (he found them under the bed)

i also feel like he sleeps like a log, unmoving once he finds his comfort, i also think it's because he had to sleep in the same bed as his siblings at one point and he didn't want to wake them by moving, so he got accustomed to being a still sleeper

one time he accidentally got into a fight at a bar when a guy kept being misogynistic and was arrested and kept in jail for the whole night until one of his civilian friends bailed him out

johnny's the type to race you in the rain to the car. again, he's quick so he's always ahead of you but then he slips from the rain and ends up all wet and muddy and in the car.

his favorite thing to do is hear you laugh. he'll do anything to hear you laugh.

whenever you're sad, he'll purposely stub his toe or trip down the stairs or make you kiss his "owie" (a papercut) to get you to cheer up. like yeah it hurts like a fucking bitch but seeing you sad hurts more than a silly tumble

number one date event is city exploring and hopping. like cafe hopping, pub hopping, museum hopping, restaurant hopping, anything that makes you get up and get going with time to sit and chill at the same time.

feels like he can eat a lot, he's the type to eat your food if you end up not liking it or being too full

when he gets home from missions and the initial excitement of seeing you dies down, he also dies down and nap for hours until it's the middle of the night and he gets up to eat something.

he loves naps. feels like he needs a nap time every day if it was possible

he's a very kind lover, he's easy going so its not hard that sometimes people take advantage of this and push his buttons until he can't take it anymore

causes a huge blowup because he can have a nasty temper whenever he bottles stuff up and pushes things aside

not a physical manifestation of anger, but definitely a verbal anger, will say things he doesn't really mean just to say it and realize right after the words leave his lips that he fucked up

but he'll stake out in front of the guest bedroom in which you've locked yourself in until you come out and he gets the chance to forgive you

the type to stand in the rain and hold a sign saying sorry right outside your window, a very cheesy romcom style (gaz made him watch them)

he loves you more than anything and loves you even more than you can keep up with him and laugh at his jokes, no matter how awful they are

Today was long and chaotic but good. In typical fashion for his family, everyone was running late pretty much all the time and miscommunications/lack of communication led to a lot of confusion. But in the end everything worked out.

I got to spend a lot of time with my niblings which was so good. They live halfway across the country so I don't get to see them much. Since I was one of the only people close with the kids who wasn't in the bridal party, I spent the lead up to the ceremony watching the kids while all the pictures happened. I have so much fun with them, especially cuz these kids are neurodivergent af. None of them are officially diagnosed but at least 2 of the 4 are autistic and that's just accepted. Their mom (my husband's sister) is autistic and went through special ed as a kid and is determined to make sure her kids don't go through the same. But anyways, I have so much fun them. The youngest spent most of the time collecting acorns and organizing them. I kept the second youngest busy by letting her use my phone to take pictures (which actually came out really well!). And I got a lot of time to chat with the eldest which was so good. And the second eldest spent most of the time wandering and stimming.

The ceremony itself was good. I got to sit with some family I really like and haven't seen in a few years. And despite my fears, everyone was great about my new name and gender.

For the reception, our table was basically the queers and other outcasts lol and it was great! All my favorite people were at the table and the niblings were the next table over.

And I had some really sweet interactions with different family members that just really made me feel loved and included. My family is really small. I had a couple aunts and uncles but no cousins and a couple of them are estranged. But my husband's family is huge! And with them I start to understand why people value family, a concept that's long been foreign to me.

So yeah. It was a big day and I'm exhausted and in pain, but also so full of love.

So the general thought of having siblings to me:

As I said I have a single mum so even when I was little and friends would say their getting a little brother or sister it never felt like something that could or would happen so I never thought about it as everyone who did have siblings had 2 parents if that makes sense.

It was never something I wanted either, I was more then comfortable with it just wing me and my mum and I would hate to have a sibling. I've literally had nightmares about it in the past (ik it sounds silly but a few times I have) where there's been a younger child and I've been forgotten about. Even if everything else was the same I would dislike it cause I (no offence to anyone) hate babies and toddlers, like I babysit kids sometimes but only ones older then like 4 or 5 cause babies just annoying me, all they do is cry, look weird and the idea of changing nappies is disgusting.

Also as u mentioned cousins, I have 2 cousins one is literally a day older then me, same year. I feel like we would've been really close considering age if it weren't for their parents. When we were little they would never let anyone but them hold him and he went round our grandparents and nannys(great grandmother) house way less often then me even tho we both lived pretty close. Therefore I would only see him if we happend to go round grandparents house on the same day and at Christmas, he didn't even have birthday parties. He has autism which my aunt and uncle denied until he was about 6ish even though all of the family could tell and told them to get Jim diagnosed so they could manage it better and help him since we were toddlers (part of the reason they could tell was our age meant they could see I was learning to walk, talk ect earlier then him and the general way he would act compare to other kids) he is in a autism specific school now and it has definitely helped him alot, were not super close and he doesn't talk much when we see them (we moved to the other side of the country so only see when visiting grandparents) but you can tell he is fond of us(why does that sound weird) he just shows affection a different way. It's just that even without his autism he was very closed off by his parents and we aren't as close as we could've been.

And see, I'm Southern, we always have big families. My mom has 3 siblings, my grandmother had 7 siblings and 3 step-siblings. Like, we have huge families

But total honesty, that's still so interesting to me to hear from small family people. And I don't mean in a condescending way, it's just genuinely fascinating to me because it's hard to imagine not having literal dozens of cousins and family members, so it's just so foreign to hear it from people with small families

How many sister-in-laws do you have? Well in an arbitrary sense, one. She’s technically going to be a cousin-in-law as she’s my cousin’s fiancée, but that cousin is much like an older brother so I usually consider and mention her as a future sister-in-law.

Can you touch your nose to your tongue? 👅👃 Nope. I’ve tried too many times to try it again just now, but I know I can’t.

Can you do the splits? Nah. I tried to be able to do it as a kid, but the skill isn’t for me.

Can you bend your tongue into a clover? ☘️ 👅 No. I can do the U-shape but that’s it, no other shapes.

What are three of your favorite creative hobbies? Can past hobbies count? I used to do embroidery and coloring :) These days I’ve been making bracelets – I plan to give them out as freebies during the Yoongi concert and it’s been more fun than I expected! I’ve currently made 45 bracelets but I’ve got a ways to go since I actually plan on giving out 100. Maybe even more if I happen to have some time (and beads) left. But with only around a little over two weeks left before the show, we’ll have to wait and see. Are you good at taking pictures? 📸 My camera is good at taking photos, but I’m not. I never did get the hang of angles and photo editing and such.

Do you have a positive or negative view of the word "religion"? Mostly negative. Then again my experience has been largely around Christianity which is the main contributor to the way I view religion. I can’t really speak for how I view other religions; the topic in general is just so broad.

Do you have a positive or negative view of the word "spiritual"? Neutral with a dash of, “I really don’t buy it.” Who is the most spiritual person you know? Some celebrity I got to work with for one of my previous accounts. I once had dinner with her and she went on and on about her crystals and meditation and getting in touch with her soul, and I just had to politely nod my head and go “Ooh” and “Ahh” for like 3 hours. Don’t get me wrong lol it was a genuinely good conversation but not nearly enough to convince me still.

When was the last time you stepped foot inside of a church? ⛪️ Two Sundays ago. We attend church weekly, but I say two Sundays ago because I happened to be at a work event last weekend.

Do you regularly attend church? Why or why not? ⛪️ Yes. My mom is religious and takes the whole family to church. On my part though I ditched religion and stopped listening to the service since I was 10.

Have you ever been to a mosque? 🕌 I haven’t, but when I went to Malaysia which I believe is largely Muslim, I learned about the concept of prayer rooms and found it very fascinating. That was my biggest takeaway when we went to Legoland hahahaha it wasn’t even any of the rides or the LEGO exhibits :((

Have you ever been to a synagogue? 🕍 Nope. Judaism is relatively weak in this part of the world, so haven’t had a lot of exposure besides its ties to Christianity.

If applicable, what are three of your favorite Christian songs? I don’t have any particular favorites but I remember liking those where you can do a second voice just because they’re fun to do and makes you feel like you’re good at singing hahaha.

Have you ever attended a Christian school? 🏫 I went to Catholic school for 14 years, yes.

Have you ever been baptized, and if so, where and how were you baptized? 🌊 Yup, I received a Catholic baptism when I was a little over a month old.

For a church, what is your favorite denomination? I don’t have a favorite denomination. Do people have favorites for this sort of thing?

Have you ever been filled with the Holy Spirit? Uh...

Do you believe that speaking in tongues is a real thing? No. I never did know what that means.

Do you have any art on your walls that has a Scripture on it, and if so, which one? No, but we have a portrait of the Last Supper in the kitchen and a crucifix in each room.

Section 5 - Politics

How many presidential elections have you voted in? 🗳️ Twice! First in 2016, then in 2022.

Do you support the First Amendment? (The First Amendment gives us the freedom of religion and freedom of speech). The what?

What is your country's flag? The Philippine flag. White side triangle, three yellow stars and a sun, blue over red.

Would you ever consider going into politics? Kind of. I very briefly considered becoming a lawyer before I realized how much I hate debating and how I’m not likely to survive recitals and regular humiliation from law professors.

Do you engage in political discussions on social media? If I absolutely give a shit about whatever issue is at hand, yes. I’ve gotten into discussions with cousins with whom I didn’t necessarily agree.

Are you happy with the current state of your nation? The current president is the son of That Dictator, I could never be happy about it. But apart from him, the country has long been rampant with corruption anyway so there was never anything to be happy about in the first place.

I have a friend who thinks the government is going to kill us all. Do you believe the government is going to kill us all? I believe they are very well capable of doing so. They have done it in the past, what’s going to stop them from doing it again?

Section 6 - Health

How many different medications do you normally take daily? 💊 I don’t take any.

What is the worst side effect or withdrawal effect that you've ever experienced from a medication? Feeling like death after each of my Covid vaccine doses and boosters. I felt like my skin was glass so I couldn’t move for like 12 hours.

Which medication(s) do you hate the most, and why? I never really hated any that I’ve had to take.

Which medication(s) do you feel have helped you the most, and why? I remember when I had my UTI in 2020 and the first doctor I went to (also a family friend) prescribed me medicine that did not do JACK SHIT, and I continued feeling like a corpse in the 2-3 days I was taking the medication. Angela’s mom who’s a pediatrician was worried sick about me and went ahead and gave me a different prescription, which worked in LITERALLY like half an hour. That was the closest to magic I’ve ever felt lmao; I continue to feel so grateful to her for the help.

What health conditions (that you know of) do you have? Scoliosis.

What are you allergic to? Grass, if anything. My skin feels irritated by it in the most random scenarios.

How many different primary care doctors have you had in your lifetime? None. I always go to different ones.

Have you ever received a dismissal letter from a doctor's office? Nope.

Is your current doctor a male or female? I don’t have a main one.

Do you prefer male or female doctors? Why? I don’t care for the most part.

Have you ever been refused treatment at a doctor's office or hospital? 🏥 No.

What is the most significant health issue you are dealing with right now? Probably my scoliosis.

What, if any, are some health issues you've had in the past that you don't deal with anymore? None. Most of my issues have been short-term, like when I had low platelet count and had to be admitted overnight.

How is your mental health? How has it been lately? It’s stable, to be generous about it. I’m just relieved to be no longer experiencing breakdowns and panic attacks which used to be an everyday thing.

I’ve been a little sad today...

Sad.. but also VERY ANGRY and hateful.

[trigger warnings for the kids: we’re gonna talk about d*ath]

This morning we found out through the worse possible way that a family member was found dead in the tub of a hotel 2 towns away from mine... she grew up with us, we always knew and loved her as our cousin (despite not sharing the same last names). She was my brother’s age, 43.

And I say we found out through the worse way which is of course: Social media.

Facebook, to be more specific.

Facebook, where people are worse than trash in how quickly they are to judge, humiliate and ridicule someone they don’t know.

Now I know all social media users as trash and everyone slanders just as bad.

But the amount of HORRIBLE comments we had to go through while reading through the devastating news can make you loose faith in humanity.

She was called: a whore, a drug addict, many insinuated that because she died at a hotel that it was the result of a “sexual fantasy gone wrong”, or “another stupid bitch who went out with their ex only to get themselves killed.”

And many such atrocities.

But what none of these human-waste-of-oxygen know is that she was none of those things.

My cousin was a Health Professional ( Respiratory Therapy was her specialty ), working for more than 3-4 hospitals where she was VERY loved by everyone who knew her. Had lived a pretty independent life in the US for a couple of years, had a partner whom she loved... but like many people with a smile on their face, she too battled with severe depression.

The moment it all started to go downhill was when she returned to Puerto Rico to care for her dad who was dying of cancer. Some time later her father dies and she was left to care for her mom who was also diagnosed with cancer. To add more salt to the wound her girlfriend of many years broke up with her one day, only for her to find out that the reason behind the breakup was that her gf too had cancer and didn’t want to be an additional baggage in her life.

To make matters worse, days before Hurricane Fiona came we lost another cousin to cancer as well, this one was older (around my mother’s age), but they were close; practically lived next to each other. It’s all one tragedy after another...

So No... my cousin was not murdered by a crazy ex, she was not a junkie, she was not “a prostitute who got what she deserved.”

She was a sad and lonely woman who decided to end her own life because everyone she knew and loved was dying right before her very eyes by the exact same illness and there was nothing she could do about it despite many years working in the field helping others to stay alive.

I wish... people would learn to look up the facts before opening their mouths to spew their bullshit and ignorance over someone they don’t know. Because she was really great; she was hella smart & funny, never one to brag about her achievements.

pretty open, but it's not very much my choice. Hello World!

SelfCareCorgi back again to make one last final post for you all. The semester is coming to an end, and as such so is this account. I have enjoyed being able to provide you guys with the different things I have been able to learn over the last few months, and I hope that you all were able to take something from all the tips and tricks I have talked about in the many different blog posts I have made.

Today, for my final blog post, I will be sharing with you all my Personal Totem Pole. For those of you who are unsure of what this is, it is a collection of symbols that I have picked that demonstrate different parts of my life! These symbols are going to be laid out in the form of a totem pole, which is a long-standing Indigenous tradition of storytelling done by carving meaningful symbols into a large wooden pole; many of these being faces of animals! I have gone ahead an attached a photo of a totem pole down below for you all to see.

For my own personal totem pole, there would be 6 different symbols. These symbols would be: 1) a cardinal, 2) headphones, 3) a loon, 4) a uterus, 5) a four leaf clover, and 6) 2 cats. I know that this jumble of symbols seems like a mess, but I promise that each have a very important meaning to them; all which I will explain to you.

The first symbol that I would put on my personal totem pole would be a cardinal. This symbol is here to signify the death of my older brother, Justin, and the effect that it had on my life. For those of you who do not know, the cardinal is known to be a symbol for your loved ones who have passed. After Justin passed away, I had a cardinal start following me on the entire walk to school every single morning like clock work. I never used to believe in these kinds of things, but after his passing, having something like this happen to me provided me with some kind of hope, and made me realize that he will always be with me in some form or another. Justin dying was and still is a very huge part of my life, so I believe that he deserves representation on my totem pole.

The second symbol that would be on my personal totem pole would be a pair of headphones. For as long as I can remember, music has always been a very important part of my life. No matter what has happened in my life, I have always been able to turn to music to help calm me down and get my stuff together. Music brings me to a state of calm and helps me gather my thoughts. Music has been such a help to me throughout to life and I truly do not know where I would be without it, hence why it is getting a spot on my personal totem pole.

The third symbol on my personal totem pole would be a loon. Growing up, I would spend so much of my time up at my families cottage up north and many of my best memories have been up there with my cousins and younger brother. I still go up to my cottage, but a lot less now that me and my cousins are all grown up. We would spend hours just swimming and running around in the forest playing stupid games and just having the most fun. The reason that I am associating the loon with this is because we used to lay down on the dock during the night, and there would always be as loon calling in the background. Spending so much time at the cottage with my cousins has helped me become very family oriented, which is something that I love about myself.

The next symbol that would be represented on my personal totem pole would be a uterus. I know that this symbol may seem odd to some, but to me it has been a very large part of my life. At the age of 11, I was sent to sick kids hospital and diagnosed with something called Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome. What this means, is that my ovaries are full of cysts; and because of this one diagnosis, so many other things have happened to me in an almost domino effect style. This diagnosis has consumed my entire life since getting it, and I am always having different things going on due to it. There is not technically anything we can do to cure, I am only able to manage it, so this is something that I will be dealing with my entire life. Because of the impact that it has, and will continue to have on my life, I believe that it deserves to have a spot on my personal totem pole.

The next symbol that would be on my totem pole would be a four leaf clover. This one is here based on pure luck. Somehow, despite everything that I have been through, everything that has happened to me and everything that was supposed to happen, I always get lucky and pull through somehow. Both little and large things will happen and luck somehow always pulls through for me. I am so thankful for this, and still don't understand how this happens. People always tell me that I am lucky, and I never used to believe it until recently. I know it is kind of silly but luck plays a huge part for me, without it I would have been screwed in many different situations, hence why I am giving it a spot on my totem pole.

The last symbol that will be on my totem pole is a symbol of two cats, specifically in the shape of a yin and yang symbol. This symbol is to represent me and my younger brother, Troy. For those of you that do not know what the yin and yang symbolizes, it represent duality, or the idea that two opposite characteristics can actually exist in harmony and complement each other. This is the exact explanation of my relationship with my younger brother. We are polar opposites yet that effects nothing, he is my best friend and I don't know what I would do without him. He is my everything and I would do anything for him. I have so many important life memories with him and he is by far the most important thing in my life. I feel like the cats as yin and yang symbols perfectly represent us. I also chose it with cats because we have 2 cats back at home.

Well, I finally got my long awaited period so that explains some of my depression from last week. I know I have PMDD but my gyno won't diagnose me with it. I try to deal with it the best way and I'm a lot better than I use to be. It's still hard though. So I remember 4 years ago, I made 10 collages for my grandmothers funeral because she had 9 kids and one of the collages were of her and my grandfather. My mom couldn't help cause of grief so I stayed up late by myself and cussing out my cousins under my breath for not helping. I didn't know at the time but it helped me so much in processing the grief from her death. When I was in my teens I would make scrapbooks in notebooks of interesting articles or pics from magazines. It was something I did until my late 20s. I don't why I did it but I enjoyed it. I had these magazines from a magazine subscription my ex gave me. I honestly read maybe only one issue cause I had no time and then when we broke up I put it in the trauma backpack. Sometimes I do crazy things and I don't know why until later. Today I decided to make a scrapbook from the pics, quotes, and poetry from the magazines. It's actually a really cool magazine, I just didn't have the time to read it and later on I wanted nothing to do with them cause I was too sad. 😔 But now, I'm excited cause in only 2 issues I found so much and even more inspiration. I'm excited to see how this project takes shape or what it inspires me to write.

An exact year since the never ending battle between good and evil had come to an end. A year since innocent people had died for a cause they didn’t have to fight for.

The silence in the room felt humiliating to sit in waiting for your therapist to dissect your statement. She didn’t. She was staring at you waiting for you to add more.

“I went to Tesco the other day, right? and while I was looking at the oranges I remebered this stupid knock knock joke my cousin would tell me all the time as a kid and I pretended that Fred was telling me the joke and I laughed so hard that I started crying in the middle of the fucking store. Everyone looked so I don’t know.. scared it was.. almost..funny.”

One year since the love of your life passed away right in front of your eyes from the explosion a death eater set off. Augustus Rookwood a name you will never forget having been ingrained into your hippocampus, a part of the brain that kept your long term memories.

You haven't been yourself for a year now. Your days were spent laying in bed, a half eaten piece of whatever you were eating you’d thrown to the floor long forgotten. As if you were going to eat it anyways. Not because it was on the floor, that wasn’t going to stop you, but because you had no appetite for it. You hadn’t remembered when your last real meal was and frankly couldn’t even try caring.

Your nightmares have been so horrific you succumbed to insomnia and the caffeine running through your veins wasn’t enough to make you get out of bed. You had isolated yourself from friends, they’d understand completely because they weren’t nearly affected from the war like you’ve been. No one had the courage to visit you, having been yelling at them to get out every time slamming the door in their faces. The only person who’d been brave enough to do it had been Hermione. She’d been sending care packages for months now, that being your only source of food and water. When she had first seen you her heart broke because you were known as the sunshine of Hogwarts before everything had turned into shit, lighting up every room you walked into, always followed after by Fred with a proud smile on his face.

“(Y/N)? I don’t want to be that person and make you do something you don’t want to do but I’m worried. We all are.” She pauses for a second looking at Ron giving him a look to say something to you. “You’re not yourself (y/n), we miss you back at the bu-“ stopping himself hoping he doesn’t trigger you. The Weasley’s cared about you. You were family to them. It’s silent for a second, the only sounds coming from the clock on the wall.

“The Burrow.” You chuckle to yourself. You blink, eyes turning glossy, you hadn’t even thought about the burrow, though you were attempting to repress every memory created there. Hermione decides this is where they’ll leave off when you clear your throat beginning to speak. And in this raspy and tired voice you told her, “I don’t feel like myself anymore.”

You had been seeing a therapist that Hermione recommended saying that she worked with their “special case” for three months now. A wizard therapist how fitting you thought. Your therapist, a lovely woman might I add, had taken notice of your appearance as it was apart of her job, the dark circles under your eyes, the way you bit your hair while talking to her and the beanie you wore trying to cover your hair that’s been unwashed for five days now was rather daunting.

You’d been diagnosed with ptsd. It was the easiest diagnostic your therapist had ever given to a patient. The unwanted nightmares that occurred every night, soon developing insomnia because of it, depression, and flashbacks seemed to give it away for you. You hadn’t stepped foot into Diagon Alley in months because the mere sight of anything, especially the store with the twins' face triggered a nasty episode causing you to shake beyond belief into an anxiety attack. You barely started using your wand again having been tired of living in the wreck you called your place.

“I’m so tired. I am.” You admitted.

“I want to get better but I can’t. When I stop acting like he’s not dead it’s going to feel real and it scares me. I don’t wanna feel alone.” You confessed.

“Have you seen his family recently?” Your therapist responded.

“Not since the funeral” Shaking your head, hands rubbing your face with your hands hoping she doesn’t suggest another exercise.

Leaving your therapist's office, cigarette in mouth getting ready to light it, you spotted the liquor store you went to after every session down the street, deciding to stock up on vodka since you had several empty bottles collecting under your bed. The vodka eased your mind and the cigarettes you smoked gave your hands something to do rather than shake all the time. The owner of the store loved his regulars and was glad that it kept his business booming but he wasn’t excited seeing you come with a miserable look on your face every time you walked in. Already knowing what you were going to get he started preparing the brown paper bag he was going to pack with vodka not before asking if you were okay.

“Always am.” Giving him a smile that didn’t meet your eyes.

Entering your flat, dragging your feet along the kitchen floor you looked for something to eat before you start drinking; deciding on a banana that was five days too ripe was your best bet. Not bothering to grab a shot glass you took a swig chasing the alcohol with your cigarette and glanced at your flat; piles of clothes, paper plates, moldy food had replaced the floor entirely. Feeling good enough you decided to pick up your living room using a cleaning spell Flitwick taught you in second year.

“That’s enough for today.”

‘I’ll be seeing you’ by Billie Holiday plays loudly in the background.

Dancing to the music, arms wrapped around yourself remembering how you felt in his arms at Bill & Fleur’s wedding, his strong arms holding you so gently as if you were labeled as fragile. Your mind went back to remember when you first met him. It was your first year at Hogwarts, you were turning around a corner too busy daydreaming about where you’d rather be when you bumped into what felt like bones, causing you to drop your books. “Watch where you're going please.” Crouching down to grab your books, annoyed that the person had interrupted your pleasant daydream.

“Watch where I’m going? I was! How about you watch where you’re going?” A skinny redhead boy wearing a red and gold robe doing the same gathering your books helping you.

“Wow, nice comeback Jan Brady.”

“Who? My name’s Fred Weasley?” He stopped to look at you with the most confused face you’ve ever seen, thinking about who here was named Jan Brady. “Ugh, never mind.” Getting up to leave you told him you hoped you would never see him again and wished him good luck with everything because it seemed like he needed it. In some twisted way you thought you had jinxed his fate.

Hours later you found yourself completely inebriated. A nighttime routine you never skipped. How the hell did you manage to apparate to your dead boyfriend’s old house? Who knows.

Landing on the top of the kitchen table is one way to make an appearance on the one year anniversary of your dead boyfriend. Immediately shedding tears you started apologizing to an empty kitchen looking around. Upon hearing loud noise and sniffling,George and Ginny set off downstairs to check for the intruder wands at the ready, relieved once seeing you not until realizing you’d been crying.

Not knowing what to do George just stood there with solemn eyes.

Ginny being the one coming up to you giving you a warm embrace feeling delighted that you had visited. Before you had even become Fred’s girlfriend you were his best friend and Ginny was like the little sister you always wanted. Having been the only daughter in the family she longed for a sister and wished every night for someone like you to appear in her life. She would always steal you away from Fred to hangout with you, begging you to do her hair the way you do or listen to the muggle music you played all the time.

She missed her sister. You immediately started to apologize for apparating so late in the night and that you’ll be on your way heading over to the fireplace to use a safer way for travel. Grabbing your arm gently George told you it was okay and there’s no need for that you’re still drunk.

“No I can't. I'm sorry I have to go. What about your parents? What will they think?”

“They’re at Bill’s and Fleur’s they’ll be back in the morning don’t worry they’ll love seeing you.”

You attempted to move from his hold to get to the fireplace trying to prove to them that you were fine, soon stumbling to the floor. George pulled you up and helped you go upstairs telling Ginny that she should sleep in his room and he’ll take mum and dad's.

Tucking your chin under the blankets in Fred’s bed smelling them in the process, you looked up at the ceiling, still feeling the effects of alcohol still in your system regretting drinking so much. Feeling sleepy, you prepared yourself for the nightmare that was going to happen yet for the first time in months you had slept peacefully, with no interruptions, but only a friendly spirit to accompany your sweet dreams.

SH - Sherlock & Greg Friendship - Prompt: How Greg and Sherlock First Met - Words: 1,637

A/N: Alrighty! So this written from Greg's POV. It's my personal headcannon of what Sherlock and Greg's first meeting might have been like. Please don't hate me if I got something wrong or if it's different than your ideas. Just my little thought. At the end of the story there is a little explanation of some of the references I made. See if you catch them 😜

I WILL ADD THIS: THERE IS DISCUSSION OF SUICIDAL THOUGHTS AND INTENT. HOWEVER, NO HARM COMES UPON ANYONE. PLEASE DO NOT READ IF YOU FEEL YOU WILL BE TRIGGERED.

"Goodnight, Inspector," Donavon said, as we walked out to our respective cars.

"Good night, Sally," I replied. "Have any plans tonight?"

"Oh, nothing much," She replied with a smile. Anderson walked out and headed to his car too though I noticed he winked and waved at Sally as he passed by. "See you tomorrow," She told me. I nodded and got in my car. As I started my engine I saw Philip run back to her and hand her what seemed to be a key. I shook my head and pulled away. I didn't want to pry into the personal lives of anyone on my team but I made a mental note to keep an eye on those two.

"Oh, I'm exhausted," I groaned to myself as I drove home. I'd just received my promotion to Detective Inspector and the first case we'd gotten has proven to be more difficult than we expected. Deciding that my already distant wife wouldn't care if I was home another 15 minutes later, I pulled over for a smoke. The Waterloo Bridge was just up ahead so I got out for a little walk. As I walked up into the bridge I took out my cigarette and was just about to light it when someone spoke up.

"Those things will kill you."

"Who said that?" I called out, immediately pocketing my lighter and lowering my cigarette. Instinctively, my hand hovered near my holster.

"Nobody of import to you, Detective Inspector. I was just making an observation." I was speechless for a moment, surprised that whoever was talking knew who I was. Or at least what I was. My blood ran cold, though, when I finally spotted the illusive speaker.

"What are you doing over there?" I asked, attempting to keep my voice steady. I couldn't yet see his features but I could tell he was young, tall, skinny and had a head full of curly hair. The first thing I noticed, though, was that he was standing on the wrong side of the walkway railing.

"My plan was to jump," He stated plainly. I was quiet for a moment, surprised that he'd so easily admit such a thing. "Surprised I said it?" He asked, looking at me finally. I nodded and he smiled sadly. "No reason to lie to you. You're a smart man. You wouldn't have reached DI otherwise."

"How do you know that anyways?" I asked, walking up next to him, however remaining on the correct side of the railing.

"It was quite obvious. Your haircut implies your employment is of the upper blue-collar class which narrows the field considerably. Considering your age you couldn't be higher than Detective Inspector but no lower than Detective Sergeant. If you were still at Constable you would have quit. Also it was obvious from the fact you went for your gun when I spoke up. You're considerably tired, even for this late hour, meaning you probably were one of the last out. Though tired your gait shows a measure of excitement, pride, if you will. It couldn't be caused by anything at home. You stopped for a smoke on your way home and didn't light up in your car meaning your wife dislikes the habit. One of the reasons she's going to be leaving you, by the way. You certainly aren't expecting children any time soon so that would leave your job. You're excited about something that happened recently at your job. You're obviously exhausted from the case you've been trying to crack so that leaves one option. Promotion. I'd say at the beginning of this past week."

"Wow," I gasped. "You're quite good at that!"

"You're not angry?" He asked slowly, staring at me in surprise.

"Not at all."

"I just told you your wife was leaving you."

"I knew that," I chuckled. "She's been hinting at the matter for weeks. I've been trying to fix things but, with my new promotion, she seems more determined than ever."

"I see," He said, looking off down the river again. "Most people get quite upset with me."

"Well, perhaps depending on the situation it might not be welcome but I don't see what's so bad about it. You know," I said with a grin. "With your ability you'd make a fine DI yourself."

"Tried. Couldn't pass the psych eval," He whispered. "What you call an ability, they call a disability." I stayed quiet, waiting to see if he'd go on. "Doctors diagnosed me with Asperger's and ADHD.”

“Well that certainly shouldn't stop you! Have you considered becoming a private investigator?” He wrinkled his nose at the suggestion.

“I’m not a fan of that title.”

“Private detective?” I tried. He shook his head again. “I’ll think of something,” I said determandly.

“Why would you care?”

“You seem like a nice kid, I-”

“I’m not a kid, I'm 25,” He interrupted, causing me to chuckle lightly.

"Alright," I said, holding up my hands. "Young man. You seem like a nice young man. I want to help you out."

"Why?" He asked again, sounding awfully much like a 2 year old. "I grew up in the countryside with my parents and my older brother. I never had any friends in school. I’ve always been like this. It didn’t get any better when I went to uni. Everyone just made fun of me. Once I graduated, I moved in with my brother in the city. I worked with him for a few years but,” He paused. "Let's just say that didn't go well. I tried to live on my own but I couldn't pay rent because I wasn't able to hold down a job. No one could put up with me. My brother would send me money here and there but he stopped after a while when he found out I had gotten involved in other things."

"Drugs?" The young man nodded slowly. His eyes were closed and he seemed to be somewhere else in his mind. "You know I could have you arrested for that," I commented.

"You wouldn't," He replied. He turned his head and looked straight at me, his eyes more intense than anyone else's I'd ever met. "Besides," He continued, looking away again. "I've stopped."

"For now," I said. "You'll stop until you don't have anything to do and then your mind will get too loud, too busy, too noisy and you'll try to quiet it again."

"How-"

"My cousin," I stated simply. "And also myself in a way. These 'help' me with my stress." I held up my package of cigarettes.

"May I see them?" He asked, holding out his hand. I nodded and handed them over. He looked them over carefully and then threw them into the river.

"Oi! Why'd you do that?" With a smirk and quickly hopped back over the railing onto the walkway.

"Try this," He said, rolling up his sleeve and showing me a patch on his arm. "When I have an especially bad day I'll go up to 3 patches. But one would probably be enough for you."

"Alright, I'll give it a try." He smiled abit haughtily. "But," I added, causing his expression to falter. "Only if you promise to give the private, personal, whatever you want to call it, detective work a try."

"After consulting with you, Inspector, I suppose I could attempt to give this idiotic world another try."

"That's it!" I exclaimed. "Consulting Detective! That's what you can call yourself!" He furrowed his brow in thought before smiling slightly.

"I think that just might work. But who would I consult for?"

"Well, you could set up a website so people can send in cases. Perhaps post something about how you do your deductions. It might take awhile for you to get enough customers so perhaps I can arrange for you to take a look at some old cold cases. What do you think of that?"

"I-" He paused, looking away in embarrassment. "Thank you, Inspector."

"You're welcome. And call me Greg, hm? Or Lestrade if Greg is too hard to remember," I joked.

"Alright," He paused. "Graham," He added with a smirk. I laughed loudly and clapped his shoulder.

"Well, I have the feeling this is going to be the start of something very special for you. Who knows where this will take you or who you'll meet!" He nodded, corners of his mouth turning up in a small smile. "Why don't you stop by my office tomorrow afternoon? I can get you some cold cases and who knows, maybe you'll even crack the case I'm working on now!"

"Thank you," He replied, suddenly sounding very nervous.

"Look, I know people are going to judge you for who you are and what you do. I wish I could change that. But keep your chin up. One day you'll look back and be surprised where it got you. Be confident in yourself. That'll help a lot."

"Like this?" He asked, standing straighter and giving off a well practiced authoritative glare.

"Something like that," I replied. "Here. Try this." I reached for his coat collar and turned it up. "Perfect. Now you look like a real professional." He nodded sharply, keeping up his vaguely disinterested air.

"I've done this before," He admitted. I smiled and nodded.

"Me too. I think you'll be just fine." I smiled at him, happy I was able to save a life tonight instead of investigate a death. "Do you need a ride home?" I offered.

"That would be helpful," He admitted.

"Alright, then, Mr.," I paused, chuckling lightly. "You know, I never got your name."

"Sherlock Holmes," He replied. I smiled and shook his hand.

"Nice to meet you, Sherlock." I paused for a moment, thinking. "Sherlock Holmes, Consulting Detective. Has a nice ring to it, don't you think?"

I UNDERSTOOD THAT REFERENCE: A GUIDE

The key - Anderson is giving Sally a key to his apartment since they are having an affair. Not exactly a direct reference. Just a thought lol

Those things will kill you - I thought making that the first thing Sherlock said to Greg would have explained all the more so why Greg was so happy to see him again when he came back.

Sherlock's diagnosis - In one of the episodes (can't remember which, too lazy to look it up lol) John says Sherlock has Asperger's. One of my best friends has Asperger's and I've had other friends with ADHD. As a non-professional, I would say Sherlock definitely acts in harmony with those two disorders.

The patches - Greg was showing Sherlock his own patches in the first episode. Thought that was cute.

Graham - I personally think Sherlock has always known Greg's name and it's just an inside joke lol

Hey faiza I hope you dont mind sharing, but if you do you can ignore this ask, I wouldnt mind.

I have a younger sister who's recently diagnosed with autistism and I've tried to do research regarding it but I still feel helpless and that somehow I'll mess up. She's still growing and I want her to call home a safe place cause she has trouble with the outside world since there isnt a lot of awareness about autism here. Can you please guide me a bit? How you guys handle stuff at home? Any reading material that helped you. Thank you

hiiii anon!!! that's fine! honestly it was hard. bc my brother is the only boy from us all, and we're 4 siblings. there's me as the eldest, then my sister, then my brother and then my youngest sister. so at first, my parents just thought that bc was my brother was the only boy, that he might be developing a lot slower than me and my sister did as girls, but that eventually at the age of 2 or 3, he'd catch up. he didnt.

and my mum was the first one to sorta catch on that something didnt feel right. so after the health visitor inspected my brother and he got assessed, my brother got diagnosed with autism at the age of 3. my dad was a little reluctant at first to accept it, bc no one in my family history (either from my mum or dad's side) have autism or any type of special educational needs or disabilities, so my parents didnt really Know how to handle this all. but then my dad, after some time, came round.

and its not easy at all. it still isnt even though he's 23 now. but we've had a lot of support from different professionals, who are a whole team that have stuck with my brother at various points in his life, like his speech and language therapist or his educational psychologist or his medical staff or his teachers or his social worker etc. so they've always supported us and given us guidance and sent my parents to various courses - like triple p, something i hiiiiiiighly recommend. as a teacher, i also look into team teach, but i'd recommend even that too tbh, as a way to help and learn about de-escalation, and how you can positively help your sister in her education and broader sense of learning. another thing we also use is PECS - its honestly v v v useful for most children with autism as it helps them visualise their routine/timetable for the day/planned activities, but it also helps in allowing them to express what or how they feel, like hunger or fatigue, and helps them communicate their needs to you, if you help them understand what the visual cards represent.

for my brother, we've always had him have his own bedroom, and thats his private space to cool off and calm down that we rarely go in. my brother's non verbal, so he really has struggled with communication. we know a bit of BSL (sign language) and that helped when he was a kid, but as he grew, his school and his teachers slowly got him to begin speaking. he now only speaks in 3 or 4 word strings, not full sentences, but its a huge development!

my brother's really into disney, so he has a collection of disney books and films in his bedroom. what i'm saying is that get the time to explore what your sister's interests and hobbies are, and make her safe space one that holds her interests to help her feel secure. my brother isnt very into sensory textured things, so food isn't a huge issue with him, but for your sister, explore what textures she likes and what she doesnt. we dont ever force my brother into something he doesnt want to do, and sometimes that can mean cancelling plans last minute as a whole family too, which can be quite upsetting. so sometimes what helps is telling my brother well in advance that we're planning to do xyz on such a day, so that on that day, he isnt overcome with anxiety, bc most children with autism need a set routine, and if that gets disrupted, then they will behave anxiously. so now, when we have to go to a wedding or go out to eat, we tell my brother a week or so in advance, and he's okay with that.

but also, build some independence and decision making in them! let them choose what clothes they want to wear, what food they want to eat, whether they want to do english or maths today etc. sometimes things can become overwhelming and they do hit or bite or pinch or throw things. thats the moment where you just say a firm No and step away. let them cool off, and that will give you a chance to cool off too.

and always make sure YOU are okay too. if it gets too much, speak to your family. make sure different people are with your sister, because it can be physically difficult and mentally emotional. if you want to rest one day and have that day for yourself, tell someone in your family in advance and have some me time, and that will give a different family member a chance to spend time with your sister. that will help your sister build more relationships too! some days, my brother doesnt even wanna see my face, and thats ok! he spends that day with my other sisters or my parents or he'll go out with my cousin or sometimes, just by himself, bc they need that too.

and if you just tell someone, if you are going out somewhere, that you have a family member that has autism, you'll be surprised with how accommodating people are, and that helps so so much as opposed to not telling and then you'll get stressed and anxious too. like, sometimes, crowds and big spaces stress my brother out, even now, for example at a wedding we recently went to. but we told the person who invited us about my brother, and they said its absolutely no problem whatsoever if my brother needs to step out for a bit to get some fresh air or if he needs to be fed first etc. and in the same vein, i'd say to keep your conversations with you and your sister's "team" (her school teachers etc) ongoing, so that everyone is on the same page. for example, if you were to go on holiday or implement a new habit or try something new with your sister, if your sister's whole "team" knows about this, then you are all on the same page, and will help build that new change for your sister.

its honestly a learning experience that will never end, if i were to be honest. and some days its so .... hard. and other days its the most heartwarming thing you'll ever experience. make sure you take care of yourself, including speaking to someone if gets too much, so you can take care of your sister. and soon enough you yourself with just ... develop a sixth sense for who and what your sister wants or doesnt want and who or what she does or doesnt need.

[this is where i’d put the link to the next gen’s relationship to witchcraft IF I COULD FIND IT] rip lmao but yeah!! bc basically everyone in the next gen is a halfling so i feel like there’s really like A Lot here like witchlighters are already just like hella rare and then pj parker and peyton are very possibly the first cupitches to exist ever y’know what i bet i can find? my mini essay on cupids & whitelighters yeah boi so i think the primary distinction between whitelighters and cupids comes down to like. head vs heart. and i know whitelighters are like innately good people who want to help others through good deeds blah blah blah but there is an inherent Logic to the process. whereas cupids are just a lot more fuck around/find out. it’s the same thing with orbing vs. beaming orbing you think of a place and you’re there beaming you feel a place. if pj and melinda were to swap bodies neither of them would be able to teleport. so i think the way that they were raised/trained also impacts that a lot so let’s go chronological order and start with wyatt

so, full disclaimer here, i am going off my own writings here as there are some blanks left in canon (i.e. who has what powers) also i made leo a whitelighter again bc like. a) i wanted to b) melinda’s a witchlighter which would be objectively fucking weird if leo was not a whitelighter ik the comics had this whole think about ~latent whitelighter dna~ but like girl what. and then also c) and i’ve talked about paige and motherhood before but i really don’t think paige wants to whitelighter for her kids bc she doesn’t want to be viewed as like,, as business associate to them bc that’s weird it’s one thing for your brother in law to be your whitelighter it’s a whole new can of worms for your mom to be your whitelighter. on top of that paige is still a charmed one and a witch so like. she definitely does not have the time to be the entire halliwell family’s whitelighter. but leo’s right there just give him healing and orbing hell he loves being a whitelighter just reinstate him. like come on. amirite lads? it doesn’t matter if i’m right or not this is my story and i’m sticking 2 it. okay let’s rock n roll

wyatt powers are projection, orbing, orb shield, healing, telekinesis, telekinetic orbing and he is a half split mother’s a witch father’s a whitelighter. i mean i think wyatt was really definitely as like The Witchlighter like at magic school all that like yes paige is a witchlighter but paige did not go to magic school and grow up around a bunch of little witches i think teleportation powers are Insanely Rare for anyone who’s not a halfling so the fact that wyatt can just. orb. he can heal. like this is Insane. but unlike a dency type situation where like these powers are so rare they basically have to be self taught i think there are a good amount of whitelighters at magic school who can teach him how to master his skills there’s also paige and leo so like. he’s pretty much covered. that and the whole whitelighter thing just really does come naturally to him like he was doing all this batshit crazy stuff from the womb like he healed piper from the brink of death at like age two. wyatt’s whitelighter powers are a fuckin breeze. i also think wyatt sort of id’s a little more as a whitelighter than a witch just bc chris is like so witchy wyatt feels like okay i must be more whitelighter by default. like chris will go out demon hunting and wyatt just like. doesn’t really want to do that so wyatt think’s it’s because he’s just more of a whitelighter more of a pacifist by nature. it’s not really it’s more just like chris is fuckin crazy but it doesn’t really matter. i also think that since wyatt is one of the only people with healing when the cousins are in trouble they almost always go to him, which only sort of adds to the Whitelighter element. i also don’t think wyatt has had any charges yet bc like. he’s really young he’s like 22. but i think he definitely will i think that’s something he would want to have. i think the elders also have some slight reservations about giving him charges bc like. very high probability he will fall in love with them.

chris powers are telekinesis, telekinetic orbing, orbing. does not feel very whitelighter at all. i mean for starters, wyatt’s totally Stacked with whitelighter powers that he just seemed to immediately have mastery over chris not so much. and it’s also like. everyone in the family Expected wyatt to have healing and then literally no one expected that of chris. like he tried he read about it all that and whenever he would try the sisters would just be like it’s okay hey you know not everyone has healing healing it’s big like not everyone can master it paige couldn’t heal til she was like 30 it’s nbd so chris is like yeah :| okay :| but it kind of bothers him how it’s like. his family just knew he wouldn’t be able to do that. and beyond that i think chris really does have this desire to prove himself in the craft to prove he’s a strong, talented, capable witch (which he is) and that’s really where he directs his focus. the power he hones the most it telekinesis. orbing and tlk orbing kinda of take a back seat simply bc they just aren’t as strong of combative powers (however, paige let him in on the insider secret that you can orb hearts of demons so that’s p fuckin cool. leo like Freaked out when paige told him this because he’s just a kid!! he doesn’t need to be hearing all of that!!! and paige is like yeah, just a kid who fights demons, leo. he’s seen worse and chris just looks at leo like yeah i mean i have and leo’s like cool gonna go have another parenting crisis). basically while chris knows he is a witchlighter he very much does not feel like one. he identifies as a witch. full stop. (side note he does not know he was the time traveller who came back to fix the timeline and if he found out and found out that he convincingly posed as a whitelighter and people actually believed him i think he’d lose it laughing)

melinda powers are empathy, orbing, telekinesis, telekinetic orbing. i think melinda views her Main Power as empathy, i think melinda considers herself to be more of a pacifist. again, this is kind of in relation to chris, so it’s like considering yourself to be short bc your brother’s 6′5″, but like. melinda is short. and she is more of a pacifist. i think given her empathy which is technically a whitelighter power tho it is much power likely she inherited the power from her aunt phoebe, she’s not really like. a fighter or a powerhouse or anything i think she also inherited piper’s want of a normal life. in my writings melinda is actually a nursing student i mean she’s a freshman in college but like. she wants to be like a nurse or a doctor she hasn’t entirely figured out how that would work with her like. Witch Schedule. but she kind of doesn’t care?? like she has a full family of charmed ones. they can save the day by magical means; she can save them by mortal ones. she also just like as a fun fact with her empathy powers can diagnose things really well because she can just like. feel what other people are feeling. so yes i think she’s really more whitelighter than witch i think if people ever saw her out and about with her whitelighter (i gave her a new whitelighter that isn’t leo in canon explanation is the elders are kind of worried the halliwells are getting a bit too cliquey little bit too much of a feedback loop there and they don’t really have the best relationship to the elders so like. now that one of them has kind of broken off into her own path they’re like okay can we give her a new whitelighter. just to kind of make sure they don’t all hate us. out of canon explanation i think it’s more fun for melinda to have a whitelighter her age instead of constantly dragging her dad to davis). i also think melinda is the most likely out of any of the next gen to receive a charge, but again, this is like, way out bc she’d like. 18. i also think she would keep her whitelighter on speed dial bc i think she’d be Super Nervous about fucking shit up like so bad for the first couple while. like eventually she’d get the hang of it and be confident and capable in herself and her abilities but for the first bit she’d be like. so so so anxious like s1 piper need to have everything be perfect when it most definitely is not.

tamora powers are molecular combustion, healing, invisibility, psychic link with kat. so. tamora’s technically like only 1/4 whitelighter as neither of her parents are whitelighters, her maternal grandfather is a whitelighter and that’s it. so that’s why both her and kat are a little less whitelightery that the rest of the next gen tamora can’t even orb. which was like genuinely a shock as literally every other witchlighter in the family can orb, but she just straight up cannot. she can heal, though, and is the only one beside wyatt with that capability, so her whitelighteryness is still there. she just can’t orb. and then while molecular combustion as a power obviously came from piper, healing, invisibility, and even her psychic link with her twin are all very whitelighter-y. (side note, it is specifically the whitelighter part of the twins that give them this link just like how all whitelighters are linked to their charges, them being twins just like. amplifies it. it also allows kat to always be able to orb tamora to her side and sometimes orb her other places without ever seeing her but that bit still doesn’t work that great. so while part of it is a Twin Thing, it’s also a whitelighter thing, which is why like warren and sheridan do not share a psychic link. note pt.2 the girls powers were bound when they were kids bc they had i mean like p dangerous powers at least tam did but as established by the fact that paige could always orb despite having her powers bound, their whitelighter abilities were always active. kat could always orb, tamora could always heal, their psychic abilities stayed active.) and like, because of this it’s the same though i’m just leaving the parenthesis before i forget, tamora for the longest time had no offensive power the only thing she could do was heal. she was also kind of like the coward to kat’s fearlessness or even just like henry’s popularity. she’s the shyest out any of her siblings, a lot more reserved, she has anxiety, blah blah blah. so she never felt very witchy. she had her whitelighter power and her cowardice. and kat was off running around having a wild time and henry was reading about the most terrifying demons known to man shit that have clawed their way out of the underbelly of the earth and tam’s just like. like no?? stop??? oh my god??? and then around age 14 when the girls entered high school they unbound their powers and started to train them and tamora just really only felt more uncomfortable in her own skin bc like. molecular combustion, man. and piper would teach her like how to use her powers like okay you just really really angry and you throw out your hands like BAM and she blows up a chair and turns to tamora with that cute lil grin on her face like okay now you try and tamora just feels so out of place man. like her aunt piper is this fuckin powerhouse and this power is like. it’s just too much for her like she always somehow felt like there was some cosmic swap some mistake in the grand design where she and kat got mixed up somehow and she should have freezing and kat who’s bold and fun and brave and strong should be able to blow things up. because this isn’t her. this is too much for her, it’s too loud it’s too. strong. that being said, she’s always had a knack for it, which she doesn’t realize bc like. it’s a very rare power. but she was able to gain mastery over it faster than piper did in her day. so piper knows it’s not a cosmic mix up. she knows this is the power tamora was meant to have, and some day she’ll grow into it. it’ll just take time. but yeah. witchcraft is not so much tamora’s speed she doesn’t like. necessarily identify more with her whitelighter half (or fourth but whatever) but she does just. like she likes those powers more she feels more comfortable with them. i think if she were to body swap with kat she’d be perfectly fine at orbing too. in regards to charges she is Also 18 so again long way out i think she would be open to the idea but it would necessarily be something she’d like really really Want to do i think like her whole dynamic with peyton would really be her jumping off point for whitelightering but if she got someone who was a lot more just like. into making bad decisions i don’t think tam has the backbone yet to tell them off.

kat powers are molecular immobilization, orbing, omnilingualism, psychic link with kat. absolutely no on the whitelighter front. yeah she can orb and is omnilingual doesn’t even register those as whitelighter powers. considers herself a witch through and through. is not wise, is impulsive, is reckless, is a witch. would never take a charge. if she did, she’d go on all their adventures with them bc that’s just the type of person she is. doesn’t to the vague, gentle guiding of a whitelighter she is not vague. she is also very close with chris bc they have such similar ideologies. but yeah. she’s not a whitelighter.

pj powers are levitation, astral projection, beaming, sensing love we have exited whitelighter territory and entered cupid territory i think pj very much identifies as Cupid-Witch i think she is Thee hyphenate i think she wholeheartedly embraces both parts of her craft as the eldest of her charmed ones set she does feel the need to like Set a Good Example she measures out all her potions ingredients perfectly and mastered spell writing from an early age she treats the craft with respect. she doesn’t necessarily treat the cupid practice with respect that’s not quite the right word there’s no dignity it’s all fun. bc love is fun!! her and parker have a running betting pool on various relationships in school. melinda would sometimes put down money, now that peyton goes to school with them she’ll also place bets. henry jr also does this despite having zero magical abilities to sense anything he thinks that makes it more fun. but yeah. pj views herself as cupid. she loves giving relationships the little Push they need to blossom. people think it’s because she has an advice columnist for a mom and they like trust her bc like. she’s nice and her dad’s a relationship therapist her mom’s an advice columnist and almost everyone has at least one friend that pj has had a hand in their relationship so if she sets something up they’ll trust her. the school newspaper suggested that she actually start an advice column or a matchmaking thing but she turned it down bc like. she doesn’t do remote, y’know. her cupid powers are very personal, she needs to see it irl all the move parts before she makes a judgement call. but yes. very cupid. loves saying it, too. people are like wow you’re so good at relationships she’s like yeah i’m basically cupid lmao. parker boos every time she makes that joke.

parker powers are premonition, beaming, sensing love. so parker definitely considers herself a cupitch not just a witch but she doesn’t go as far pj just bc that’s not like her mo. pj does have a slightly higher eq than parker a bit more of a gentle touch they stay neck in neck in their betting pool because of parker’s premonition power however pj knows her sister can see the future and frequently engages to change the circumstances. parker does meddle as much as her sister. and like yeah parker is p witchy she does focus a lot on combat she did turn her cupid ring into an athame bc like. fuck yeah. but she isn’t like chris or kat where she’s like I Am A Witch Full Stop she really does see herself as a cupid she had yet to like. Set Up a relationship like pj does but she doesn’t consider herself any less cupid for that she is a cupid that is who she is. she’d just like. a tiny violent one.

peyton powers are telekinesis, beaming, sensing love. again kind of like parker where she still very much identifies as half cupid she just doesn’t do mayn cupid things. i mean she’s also like 14 so like give it time but yeah pj was ten and putting couples together on the playground like it was wild. and it’s not like parker where she doesn’t have the eq to do it like parker just straight up doesn’t know what to say to steer to people together she’d just be like hey u to r in love with each other so. have at it. like baby peyton could probably get it right in the very subtle classic cupid manner she’s just too shy. like she could not imagine just walking up to someone and talking to them lmao. especially not about love. and since the girls aren’t full cupid they don’t have temporal manipulation they can’t move through time nor can they slow it down to speak to people’s subconscious but if she could that’s what peyton would do. bc she does love love in the very true cupid sense she just like. like talking to people?? aaaaaa amirite lads.
