hey y’all! in this series we’ll be covering major hard/challenging aspects (squares and oppositions) to pedro’s moon. minor challenging aspects to his moon (semi-squares/sesquiquadrates and semi-sextiles/inconjunctions) will be covered in an upcoming series, as well as the rest of the major and minor aspects to the rest of his planets, and asteroids in his chart! i also want to note that when it comes to these aspects, they have to be examined through the lens of the entire chart, as they’re influenced by a myriad of factors within it.

moon opposite saturn (within 9.0°)

with the opposition, there is a polarity between the planetary bodies and they are at odds with one another. the moon represents our subconscious feelings, our feminine (light/yin) sides, how we show up emotionally, how we crave nurturement, as well as our home and familial dynamics. it’s also indicative of our mother/maternal figures, our relationships to them, and how we perceive them to love and nurture us. saturn is representative of long-term goals, how we approach those goals, and more specifically the restriction and difficulty we face in meeting these goals. most often you’ll hear saturn referred to as the “teacher” or the “father” of the planetary bodies, it is the “bar” you set for yourself.

moon opposite saturn is one of the most difficult aspects in astrology. there’s an internal struggle to find harmony between one’s emotional needs and their responsibilities. for those with this placement, they crave fulfilling and nourishing relationships, but there seems to be various obstacles between themselves and feeling loved and valued. they crave affirmation and seek validation from others, and can feel isolated or lonely when they aren’t receiving it. they may find it difficult to express or share their feelings, and could be perceived by others to be emotionally aloof or distant. softer aspects in their charts will be their saving grace, as those with this aspect can feel pessimistic and overly-pragmatic too often.

as with all moon aspects, the connection to the mother/maternal figure will play a crucial role in how an individual approaches relationships in adulthood. in the context of the moon opposite saturn, the father may also play a role as saturn represents the father/paternal figure. the parents/guardians may have been authoritarian, demanding, cold, distant, struggled with illness, or were absent in some way shape or form. this can also manifest as the parents/guardians being at odds with one another. there could have also been an authority figure or teacher who held high expectations that the native may have felt they could never measure up to. these standards tend to be something they carry with them as they age, they may seek validation from those in authoritative positions, all while loathing the way they feel constricted by them. they can be over-workers, and can be overly critical of themselves and their own work ethic as a result. this could also simply manifest as feeling self-reliant or unsupported as a child.

depending on the level of emotional support these natives were granted in their childhood, they will either maintain healthy, productive relationships in adulthood, or stagnant, difficult relationships instead. in their youth, they may have been hindered emotionally or struggled to express themselves in a childlike manner, resulting in fears of rejection or abandonment. their partners could find that they encounter wall after wall when attempting to emotionally engage with these individuals. they may avoid being vulnerable as a means to maintain a sense of “authority” in their relationships.

their saturnian traits tend to manifest in these relationships, they could expect their partners (and loved ones in general) to be just as self-reliant as they are, or they could attempt to control them under the guise of “knowing what’s best for them.” this approach will often lead them to limiting themselves from new opportunities and connections, and there should be effort taken to maintain an equal amount of give-and-take in their relationships.

they must evolve past their fears of growing close to others. they may find that it’s easier for them to connect with people who are much older than them or much younger. this is an aspect that tends to get easier with age, so long as they’re putting in conscious work towards healing. those with this aspect would benefit from therapy and self-help practices. eventually, they will grow to become more secure in opening up to others, and find the balance between their drive for success and need for stability and comfort, leading to emotional liberation. these natives are extremely determined people, and have immense drive to accomplish their goals despite whatever roadblocks or barriers they may face.

Aspects of Chiron

⬜Chiron conjunct Sun: These people have wounds related to acceptance, either from themselves or from others. They may seek to help others in a selfless way, but they do not dare to ask for help or appear very vulnerable. Issues with the father or father figure. They may have confidence problems. They have a lot of charisma and people see them as very kind and polite people. It is likely that both the father and them have had a complicated life.

⬜Chiron conjunct Moon: They immediately make others feel good emotionally, they know what others need to feel good easily. They are very empathetic, caring and attentive people with those they love. They may have differences or issues with the mother. The mother and them could have had a complicated life. They may have trouble setting boundaries. Evasive tendencies about their own pain, from addictions, overworking, or using humor to hide that the topic hurts them. Unconditionality and great devotion. Wounds of betrayal and/or disappointment from someone they loved. They don't want to worry those they love, so they isolate themselves when they have problems.

⬜Chiron square Pluto: They have a wound related to loss or abandonment, or even a lack of control over their own lives. They are too reserved with what torments them emotionally due to the fear of being judged or betrayed after opening up. They often feel like they can't rely on someone. May have a strong inclination towards spiritual themes as a way of helping themselves and others find inner peace and understanding of their inner demons.

⬜Chiron square Rising: The wound lies in physical appearance and this in turn can affect the way they see other areas of their lives. They are people who are too understanding of others, perhaps more than themselves. They will want and be able to help others not feel or go through what they do. They may have wounds that they have carried since childhood and/or because of one or both parents. They help others but hardly allow themselves to be helped.

⬜Chiron square Midheaven: Natives are likely to doubt their ability to achieve great things and may have a tendency to self-sabotage. natives with pluto in the 12th house have the ability to seem like everything is alright, even though they are probably going through the lowest point in their lives. they come off all calm and collected on the surface, but underneath, there’s a whole world of intense emotions and unresolved trauma going on.

saturn square ascendant natives may feel compelled to limit their self-expression (this usually results in their rising sign qualities being hindered). this tendency often stems from childhood experiences of having strict rules and limitations imposed upon them, possibly by parents or authority figures who viewed their spontaneous behavior as “immature.” they were constantly shushed, which caused them to be highly cautious about how they present themselves to others, often wearing a cold, serious face, but deep down they hide their fun, childlike nature in fear of being criticized. 🎭

natives with pluto in the 7th house tend to become suspicious when others get too close to them. often times, these people think others always harbor motives against them or are taking advantage of them. this mindset often stems from past close relationships, whether romantic or platonic, where they felt controlled and used. as a result, they develop a desire for control in relationships, asserting power to avoid being dominated.

mercury-pluto people have no filter at all. very blunt and direct; their words may unsettle others. they can come across as judgmental or too critical due to their honesty, which can sometimes lead them into arguments. these people can smell lies from far away 🔍

lilith conjunct pluto natives carry intense and buried emotions that can explode when they sense someone trying to exert power or dominance over them. they value their independence greatly and have a tendency to react aggressively when they feel their freedom is threatened. these people are acutely aware of their own inner dark qualities and can also recognize such aspects in others. besides these, they tend to notice and are deeply affected by the injustice and oppression happening in their surroundings.

Astrology Observations II

Disclaimer, these are observations I have made through personal experience and thorough research, observations also vary depending on other natal placements involved

♅ Virgos tend to represent the trad wife far more than people assume taurus does, and that’s because Virgos ability to uphold their life (at least on the outside) tend to attract men who want a wife that can keep them on track

Some Virgo women tend to also attract gay men unfortunately 😭, again I think Virgos just seem like the perfect trad Wife and it will attract closeted men like flies. This isn’t to say all your partners will be closeted but the ones who are overly aggressive on your role in the relationship might be.

♅ Gemini moon children develop QUICKLY. These are usually the kids who weird you out with their extensive knowledge and self awareness that seemingly comes out of nowhere. The mercury influence allows them to digest many topics which in turn has Gemini moon children mentally developing at a faster pace than their peers

I’ve also observed Gemini moons are those annoying kids in your class that are a lot smarter and a bit condescending to others intelligence, not because that’s just the way they are, but their mercurial moon needs constant stimulation, and with a combination of their rapid growth you’ll see them climbing academic ranks which in turn can make them dislike school if they are not progressing at a speed they like.

♅ Scorpio moons have a tendency to see the worst in every situation/person which can be a nasty habit, but this isn’t out of judgment, rather they don’t like to give people the benefit of the doubt. They don’t like to be screwed over and their best bet is to think of the worst scenario possible.

mars square Saturn is where the ability to feel motivated, take action, and progress is restricted by Saturn. And the square aspect makes it sooo difficult to overcome, it’s locked in place like a safe. Their sense of discipline is also kinda f’ed up. Potential to be self-punishers.

pisces moons are truly god's strongest soldiers lmfao. i spoke on this in a previous post and i'll reiterate it again because it's so real, but pisces is the only water sign without "armor", and therefore the water sign that tends to get hurt the most. and i'm speaking in terms of the archetype and not necessarily every person with prominent pisces placements when i say this (pls do not come up under this post talking about a pisces that hurt your feelings, we do not care), but pisces are very sensitive and kind-hearted by nature, and with the moon in pisces that can very easily manifest as becoming "captain save a hoe" and trying to help and fix everyone around you, even to your own detriment. in regard to having mercury in pisces, i feel like the upside is having a very romanticized way of speech and a general "poetic" ideological approach to life, and the downside is getting lost in your thoughts, as well as being misrepresented or not clearly understood in communication/connection to others, and therefore "shutting down" and opting not to speak at all.

i'm not gonna hold you, i feel like this is the perfect example of a song fully encapsulating what an aspect feels like. i feel like these aspects can make someone very ethereal, they may have a tendency to come off as impersonal or "out of reach" to those around them, and are typically very intuitive and spiritually-inclined. in synastry, this could make someone view their partner through a dream-like lens. aside from neptune's malefic characteristics (which typically show up more with conjunctions or challenging aspects) it's energy paired with the sun and venus can make a relationship feel like a fairy-tale in a sense. they may have a telepathic connection with one another, visit each other or communicate through the astral realm, and their intimacy can feel like a very spiritual experience for both parties.

Neptune and manifesting

Neptune/Sun: This aspect shows itself in individuals that are natural at manifesting. "I want it I got it". Manifesting when it comes to THEM is easier, then others. Ones with these placements should be as bold as they want, the sky is truly the limit. These people are always wanting to be the better version of themselves and want to improve on something.

Neptune/Moon: Being in tune with your emotions is crucial to people with these aspects. They are the type to do a lot of visualization and dream of their desires. Quite spiritual people! It's easier to manifest when they have an emotional attachment to what they are manifesting for.

Neptune/Mercury: Writing and affirming must come easy to these individuals! (at least for me!). Also scripting can come natural for people with this placement. Their thoughts create basically. I would advise that everyone does self concept but especially if you have prominent mercury. Overthinking is common so they need to be wary about that!

Neptune/Venus: Manifesting with music can be more effective. Neptune/Venus natives are a bit similar with Neptune/Moon natives. Though these ones can do more with relationships, beauty etc. (Side effects are that they can be a bit too attached it not careful).

Neptune/Mars: These ones are more "hands on". I'm imagining them actually putting in the work and have the motivation and drive to manifest their desires. Personally this is my favorite one as these people can do anything they put their mind to. Similar to Sun but these ones are more assertive and blunt.

Neptune/Jupiter: When someone with these placements manifests once, they are unstoppable. They are quite ambitious and will aim for anything, not even the sky is the limit for them. They like big things and have a lot of goals.

Neptune/ASC: Manifesting can come of natural to these people. Ariana Grande and Marilyn Monroe have this placements and they have talked about manifesting as well. With this placement they are really in control in their reality. Visualizing is a great tool (also for mercury too)!

Neptune/Saturn: When everyone is worrying about getting their results these ones are very grounded. They know what they want and are clear on how to get it. If you have this placement and are not grounding is something you should definitely try! It's not easy to detour these ones for their goals.

Painful placements in astrology I

💜 Sun square/conjunct/opposite/inconjunct (quincunx) Pluto. Inconjunctions should be maximum 2/3 degrees. If I see this in a natal chart it would indicate to me that the native has had issues with their father or figures with authority in general. Could also be men in their family. I have also noticed the fathers side of the family were absent, early on they could have been separated. The separation could be due to many threats. If not cultivated well, this aspect is common amongst serial killers and people notorious for being bullies.

💙 Moon square/conjunct/opposite/inconjunct (quincunx) Pluto. Inconjunctions should be maximum 2/3 degrees. Now this would indicate a person who has issues with the mother figure in their family. This could also indicate issues with the women figures in their life. These people are also very distant with their mother’s side of the family. Like harsh Pluto and Sun, they were separated early on. Which again potentially could’ve been due to threats to their safety in general. If not cultivated well, this can lead to mental health issues, especially those relating to Pluto. Dark obsessions and desires etc.

💜 Having square placements to personal planets, this alone is very hard to deal with as there is strong friction no matter which side you look at. These people need to work on the aspect and appropriately release the energy, depending on the house, sign, and degree.

💙 Pluto in 12th. These individuals harbour a lot of their trauma in the subconscious. They have probably also seen some crazy things in the spirit world. It’s like they attract that sort of attention without really meaning to aswell. These individuals may also have very disturbing dreams and sleep paralysis.

💜 Saturn/Uranus/Chiron in 11th. This is a constant cycle of feeling alienated from society. These people may feel like they never found their group of friends. They crave for a home they’ve never had. These are also the type of people who have had friends make secret group chats behind their back and never include them. Just because Uranus is at home here, doesn’t make it any easier. This is also true if these placements are in Aquarius.

💙 Harsh Venus and Saturn aspect (square, opposition, inconjunction). Or Venus in Capricorn/aquarius. These people were made to feel unworthy of love and care when they were younger. There’s a constant battle between loving oneself and self destructive behaviours. There is an imbalance with their feminine side, due to masculine/ figures of authority, making them feel like they weren’t good enough.

💜 Harsh Moon and Venus aspects (square, opposition, inconjunction). Again made to feel like they weren’t pretty enough and probably dealt with a lot of toxicity from maternal figures. There is also an imbalance with their feminine side due to issues with women, and maternal figures. These people also a lot of the times refuse to acknowledge their emotions and bottle things up a lot.

💙 Having inconjunctions/quincunx aspects. They need to be at a maximum 2/3 degree orb. This is similar to opposition. But the difference here is that two signs that have no similarity are making a harsh aspect. There’s bound to be heat and constant internal conflict. This one is about learning to balance the scale of energies from both areas.

💜 8th house placements. These people are constantly undergoing transformations in their life. They can easily leave everyone on delivered for months and when they return, they are no longer the same person. Then the cycle repeats. There’s a lot of trauma in these people’s lives, and a lot of it comes from family. But they’re also naturally talented when it comes to things like the occult. This aspect is powerful for astrologers as it gives the native the talent to deeply study and observe people for long periods of time. This also includes psychology.

💙 Saturn opposite/square/inconjunct Pluto. Again inconjunctions should be maximum 2/3 degrees to be truly felt. This is more of a generational aspect (may reflect the society more so). These individuals dad could carry some sort of deep trauma. This is a pretty heavy energy so will require a lot of work for the generation that has this. In addition, the themes of the abuse they dealt with surround feeling restricted from expressing oneself in regards to what Pluto represents. They seem like the sheep or the scape goat of the family. Also if they have siblings that don’t have a similar aspect, if they make a mistake, the punishment they receive can be harsher than if their sibling was to make the same mistake. Their dad/ authority figures in their family can also be/ may have been involved in the dark side of structured systems and have a lot of experience and knowledge regarding the world from that.
