Planets in the 12th House 🧿

SUN IN THE 12TH HOUSE: Multiple personalities and they're all confusing. Either seems like a narcissist or a wallflower but they're really not. Most of them are massive insomniacs but also can freakishly thrive on very little sleep. MUST work on their solar plexus chakra (may either be blocked or overactive). A lot of them strongly believe in past lives/reincarnation and could be very naturally tapped into their Akashic Records. Deja Vu 24/7. In the arts, they are absolute icons and trendsetters. Could be more of a leader in their creative field but passive otherwise. If their father is in their life, no one drives them crazier but there is no one they admire and respect more. If not, they feel better off without a father and don't see it as a void in their life.

MOON IN THE 12TH HOUSE: The "child whisperer"; babies and kids instantly feel safe and soothed and understood around them. Capable of 100 different moods in the span of a day. Yet will insist they're "fine" when you ask. Uncannily capable of telling when others are not as happy as they appear. CLAIRSENTIENCE. An empath who needs to protect their energy for the sake of their sanity. Must express their emotions maturely or else they get very self-destructive. Deep, deep love of movies or music that may just be a hobby. Most feel incredibly indebted to their mothers or can have a very codependent motherly bond. Messy as hell sleeping schedule: staying up late, sleeping in late, insomnia, sleeping 10 hours, etc.

MERCURY IN THE 12TH HOUSE: Throat chakra probably needs a lot of healing. Could have a speech impediment early in life or be neurodivergent. They could also be judged very harshly (and unfairly) for their accent. Knows what people are thinking somehow and it freaks them out. Clairaudient abilities. Secretly very shrewd and cunning. Learned how to "play dumb" or "say less" early in life so people can't predict their next move. They have highly communicative Spirit Guides and they're always interacting with them but they may not be consciously aware of it. Natural channelers or mediums. NOTHING is a coincidence to them. They see signs in everything because they're always in dialogue with the Universe.

VENUS IN THE 12TH HOUSE: The biggest sweethearts but may hide that by acting kind of "mean". The best connections for them are the ones who see the big softie under the tough exterior. A lot of powerful feminine Spirit Guides around them. May also be very connected to love/beauty goddesses like Aphrodite or Freya. Is either seen as a goddess type or has a strong romantic relationship with a partner with big goddess energy (regardless of gender). Major Twin Flame vibes. Major soulmate connections. A divine counterpart could spiritually awaken them or even act as a guide (in human form or in the Spirit Realm). Art = healing. MARS IN THE 12TH HOUSE: A dormant volcano that rarely explodes but causes total devastation when it does. Recurring nightmares that may haunt them through adulthood. Might be incredibly drawn to "scary" art: horror movies, heavy metal, grotesque visual art, etc. Would SERIOUSLY benefit from taking up boxing, self-defense or any kind of martial arts. People constantly being jealous of them and they're just like, "Jealous of what?" Their humility and belief that everyone can win brings them more blessings. Incredibly inspirational. They make people want to be better versions of themselves. DREAMERS. Figuratively and literally; their actual dreams are like nightly movies. Constantly rescued or kept out of trouble by their Guides. Very active spiritual life. May start life very religious but benefits from exploring lots of spiritual paths.

SATURN IN THE 12TH HOUSE: Somehow super-grounded and very otherworldly, at the same time. Most likely to make skeptics see the truth or value in spirituality or psychic phenomena. Some may claim to be skeptics themselves but that's either just a phase or what they tell themselves to cope with this reality. Very powerful and natural psychic gifts that they may resist, dismiss or fear until they're called to embrace them. Although they see themselves as a hot mess, a LOT of people look up to and admire them. Major "older sibling" energy (regardless of if they actually are a big brother/sister or not). Also, "wise mentor" energy. VERY divinely protected. They have a lot of masculine, formidable Spirit Guides who do not mess around when it comes to them. Raven Baxter vibes (including the chaos and calamities). Very good at convincing others that they are straight-laced or "normal" but the weirdness eventually slips through. Might be a model child and save all their rebelliousness for adulthood. Or they could be a model citizen but totally wild behind closed doors. They stand out through either controversial artistic statements or a very unique fashion sense. Really sensitive to mental health issues. Kind of like medication in human form; can help stabilize people's instabilities.

NEPTUNE IN THE 12TH HOUSE: Virtually hypnotizes people, without even trying. They have a striking beauty that is more about their aura/energy than looks (even though they may be gorgeous). Magical, mystical beings. A fairy, elf, mermaid, etc in human form. Often feels burdened/cursed by the pedestal others put them on. Humbly owns their flaws/faults while others are like, "Nah, you're kind of perfect actually". Seen as an angelic presence or guiding light to those they influence. Can go to some DARK inner places but can also heal/redeem themselves. Extremely psychic and trusts their intuition. Third eye and crown chakra are wide-open. Spirituality is the air they breathe. Astrology observations I made pt 13

DISCLAIMER- Placements will not play out the same way for everyone and having challenging placements + aspects does not mean that you are a bad person or that you will have a bad life. Take what resonates and leave what doesn’t

-juno in the 6th or 10th house can literally mean marrying a coworker or boss respectively. The latter can also mean your marriage will help increase your social status

-People with pluto or Venus in the 8th house as well as Venus-pluto aspects tend to attract a lot of people who just want to control/“tame” them

-People with mercury in Pisces tend to deal with people twisting their words and putting words in their mouth all the time. Or what they say doesn’t make sense to other people period

-if you have mercury in a fire sign, your mouth can and will get you in a lot of avoidable trouble if you’re not careful, especially if aspects with mars and/or pluto are at play

-people with a lot of Pisces placements and neptune in the 8th or 12th house tend to be prone to spiritual attacks and soak up energy like a sponge whether it’s good or bad. That’s why they’re always so lethargic. Protect yourselves besties

It might be quite difficult for someone with planets in the 12th house to accept life because it doesn't live up to their idealized imagination of the world. 12th house people often feel tired of life. The portrayal of life the way it is and nevertheless trying to find happiness is what makes these shows so relatable to someone with 12th house placements because they often contemplate about the meaning of life.

We are our own biggest critics. We underestimate ourselves and our ability to be happy by ourselves so much.

We get overwhelmed with how deeply we feel and often question why others don't and how they seem to be fine with it. As a 12th house stellium, I felt like I was being bombarded with emotions while watching these shows. This is also true for water sign placements especially Pisces because it rules the 12th house.

SYNASTRY OBSERVATIONS PART THREE

A friend who’s Sun belongs in your 11th house will introduce you to many new people, their popularity will rub off on you.

Ascendant Opposite Mars - I don’t even know where to begin with this one. So exciting for sure, sometimes terribly frustrating as well. If navigated correctly, the Mars person can push the Ascendant to grow. The Mars person is naturally ambitious and takes charge of their life, the Ascendant will learn from this and integrate this behavior into their own personality. Anger flairs rather easily between people who share this aspect, but it's never that deep and is usually settled quickly.

Venus in the 2nd house - Having the same taste in aesthetics, they like to spend money in similar ways.

Sun Trine Mars - This is a power duo. Both parties tackle goals better when together, they encourage each other with enthusiasm. Two people with this aspect see the best in one another, and are fully aware of each other's potential. They have fun in any situation and are highly energized by one another.

Saturn in the 1st House - Lifelong relationship, deeply karmic. Witnessing one another through struggle.

Pluto Opposite Moon - The Pluto person wants to take things to a deeper level, usually on the emotional sphere, but finds that the Moon person is too sensitive to handle such depth.

Jupiter in the 12th House - In a way, The Jupiter person feels like a guardian angel to the 12th houser. The Jupiter person seems to enter the 12th housers life when the least expect it, and they bring with them a series of blessings. 🔎Taurus mars people at first are not aggressive in my understanding. They prefer not to start a conflict and to restrain their anger as much as possible. As we know this mars sign is in a weak position and they usually behave more passive-aggressive than other signs. They can suppress these negative emotions for a long time or secretly resent people. But if you bring them to white heat, you will see their dark side. From my point of view, they are the scariest in anger. I haven't encountered this situation myself, but I asked my friend about his friend. (Of course, he has Taurus mars) And she said that she was shocked by his actions during the conflict. I very much respect non-binary or trans people. If i'm talking about man or woman, i'm talking about cis-men or woman i know, because often, due to societal coding/standards, there can be differences depending on the gender. But it could very much apply to you if you are non-binary or trans. Just take what resonates and leave what doesn't, as spiritual people like to say.🫶🏻

Lots of planets in the 7th house, especialy conjunct: A big part of this life might be about your marriage partner or life partner or just the relationship to your closed love ones. This can be amazing, but i need to tell you to be careful who you choose as a partner and who you let close to you in your life. As this is the house of open enemies too, this could also go south, especialy if there are also planets like mars, pluto or saturn involved. this could go from just staying in a unfulfilling relationship way too long (because your life seems to revolve around this relationship and you don't see a live without it) to being in an abusive relationship. ❤️‍🩹

Saggitarius AC: This gives the person bad guy vibes, but in a different way than Sag MC. In the MC it's more how the public perceives you, maybe through the career choices you made, but not necessarily how you actualy are as a person. In the Ascendant it is how you might actualy be like in more private settings or how you show yourself to your closer peers. Not a bad person, i feel like to be that saggitarius has way too strong morals, but just this bad b*tch energy that surrounds them and like a dark "emo" vibe. Or your actual personality could be described as "bad bitch"-like. could also really like dressing in black/ darker colours and/or with spikey/scary accessouirs.😈

Sun in Leo in the 8th house: I already talked about in another post how i've met a few people with leo sun who told me they love sex. One of those people has Leo sun in the 8th house, and he is into bdsm. so basicaly, i think the 8th (scorpio) house influence gives this love for sex a more extreme touch, and because scorpio is also posessive, stuff like bondage fits into it as well.⛓️

Chiron conjunct AC: You might've struggled with bullying or got outcasted by people who were dear to you because of the way you looked, dressed or how you behaved. But it doesn't have to be because of other people, it could just be that for some reason, you never liked your personality and always saw something wrong about who you are. Because of this, the thing you're most insecure about or hurt you the most is yourself or how you view yourself. I feel like this is a difficult placement for Chiron because it's hard to heal Chiron wounds. They are where we know how to heal others but we don't know how to heal ourselfes. And especialy because we might not think we're even worthy of healing, this placement might especialy struggle with dealing with their insecurities.🫂

Planets in the 22nd degree: As many may know, this is the so called "kill or be killed"- degree. How i personaly interpret it is, that in whatever planet or other placement you have this degree, it will be hard for you to develope the good trait of the planet. Let's take sun 22nd degrees in the 7th house as an example. You may naturaly love to be in love and love relationships, it's where your heart lies, but because of this degree, you have experienced so many relationship wounds, that you get a huge ego (the sun can also be ego if underdeveloped) to either hide your wound, or in the hopes of never getting hurt again (or both). This could then either make you completely turn away from relationships or a very narcissistic partner. And especialy when you have other more challenging planets conjunct the sun, it can make it even harder. You feel like, you either kill your heart, or you will be killed by it, because it may for example hurt too much. 🔪

Jupiter conjunct mars in the 10th house or conjunct the MC (also just Mars, but Jupiter "enlargens" the placement): Your career might be all about fighting. If it's just in the 10th house it's just your career and what you may be professionaly most respected for, conjunct MC may be what the general public knows you for. This can mean literal fighting like marshal arts or fighting in a war.🤼‍♀️

Ruler of the Ascendant in the 12th house: I personaly have this placement, and it's really hard for me to truly understand who i am and what defines me. As i get older i learn more and more about myself, but at the same time i have to unlearn a lot of stuff people told me about myself which i then belived to be true (because i didn't know who i am). For example, when i went to school i was always directly or indirectly told that i was more or less stupid. Everyone thought that, because i couldn't express myself properly in front of the class because of social anxiety. Because of this social anxiety, i was also always seen as shy, which is why i always thought of myself as shy and introverted by nature. But now as i got into university and learned how to approach people and my social anxiety has gotten a lot better, i now know i am actually way more extroverted than introverted as long as i'm surrounded by the right people and actualy not shy at all. And i learned that i wasn't actualy stupid, my struggle was just expressing myself properly and not having enough access to proper knowledge or the mental capacity to learn new things (i had quite a hard childhood, so i mentaly had to deal with a lot of stuff). So i feel like with this placement, it's important for you to always challenge what you believe to be true about yourself and be open to changing your perspective on yourself. Just because you may think something about yourself because everybody has made you feel like you are whoever they thought you were, doesn't mean you are actualy that. To you especialy i wanna say: i feel you, and you can got this!💪

Moon in the 12th house: This could mean your mother being abscent because of her having to stay in psychitric care or in prison or just some sort of very restricting place or situation. She might have been a drug/alcohol addict. Or she could've been emotionaly absend or it just felt like she was absent because the connection to her was missing. But i personaly could never make a connection from my moon sign to my mother, even though this is a interpretation a lot of astrologers make (which is why i feel like mentioning it, it's still valid). For me personaly, i feel like the moon just tells you about your emotions and how you might try to soothe yourself in different situations. With this placement specificaly, it might be very difficult for you to access your emotional life because you surpress your emotions and so they hide in your subconscious. Because of that, it might be very hard for you to know how to soothe yourself, so you might turn to drugs and because of that end up in prison or they express themselves in mental health struggles which may lead to you needing psyhchiatric care (or also to prison, if you do something bad because of that). But i don't want to make it seem like it's not okay for you to get the help you need. This is not an easy placement, so if you feel like you cannot handle what is going on with you psychologicaly, please seek professional help!🌘

Mars in the 7th house: This placement can indicate your partners (or just close loved ones) being potentialy abusive or you tending to be more aggressive towards your partners. Whoever is your open enemy might especialy try to go against you in a more aggressive way, so be careful with this one!🤕

What are some placements that can be someone very intuitive?

Moon in the 12th House

Very observant, very sensitive and conscious of their environment, can often read people well. They tend to have a very strong bond to the spiritual world and are highly intuitive.

Neptune in the 12th House

This is THE placement for intuition. Neptune is the planet of illusion, is it there or is it not?, it is hard to explain but people with Neptune in the 12th House can sense anything. In Astrology this is once of the major placements that is connected to psychics, especially if there is a Moon-Neptune conjunction (or trine) in the 12th House.

Any personal planets in the 12th House (Sun, Moon, Mercury mostly)

These are the classic placements of someone very spiritual, very connected to the spiritual world, in tune with their higher self, very conscious of what is happening around them on a "not" physical level.

Placements in the 12th house are prone to disassociation, derealization, they tend to have moments in which they are truly out of the real world. High intuition, tendency for escapism, distraction.

This is also a highly intuitive placement. Your emotions could be connected to the spiritual world - if something is happening or you have a sense for something, sense that it is going to happen, you are just going to feel it in your body. It could be stomach pain, nausea, anxiety...your body just tells you that your intuition is right. The Moon-Neptune trine/conjunction can be similar in this manner.

Water Moon

Having a Pisces, Cancer or Scorpio Moon can definitely make someone very intuitive. Water signs can sense things easily - they know when something is wrong, either their body tells them or they just know it without a proper reason/cause.

Mercury is definitely connected when it comes to intuition, it is the planet that shows how things are communicated to you and how you communicated them. It represents the environment. 12th House Placements and Backlash

Part of why people can be so hesitant to express their 12th House energy is that, in its most direct or purest form, it often attracts negative energy. On some conscious or subconscious level, we know that and can seriously fear it. These reactions are part of the whole "hidden enemy" thing with the 12th House, in that it's a part of you that people can judge, reject, criticize or project on without you understanding why. It should be stated that you're NOT doing anything wrong by expressing your 12th House. And since 12th House people are so sensitive, this can cause you to overinflate the negativity you do receive. You are still definitely loved and valued. However, if you want to avoid unnecessary pain and suffering (another 12th House concept), it's easier to find other ways to go about expressing it. This grants us that transcendence this part of the birth chart promises; a deliverance from confusion and sorrow to acceptance and peace.

SUN IN THE 12TH HOUSE

Those with a 12th House Sun get backlash for, unfortunately, just being themselves. It's like they breathe and people have something critical to say. For some, they may be way "too much" and, for others, they are seen as holding back or not giving enough. It feels as if the approval of others is only earned by jumping through rings of fire and even that may not be satisfactory. 12th House Sun people eventually learn to cope with this by creating some sort of persona to protect themselves, much more than the average person. VERY few people will get a glimpse at the "real them" behind the character they've created. As a result, these people are either super-private and shy or deceptively big personalities who others don't know nearly as well as they believe they do. Though this can be isolating, it can eventually allow them to understand the profound importance of real intimacy and how special it is to let that rare, deeply trusted person truly see you.

MOON IN THE 12TH HOUSE

12th House Moons rarely get the sympathy they truly deserve, especially from family and close friends, who may love them dearly but have a dysfunctional way of using this individual to more so meet their needs or cater to their feelings. Those with this placement can bottle up a lot and when they finally do express their emotions, they get labeled whiny, needy, crazy or any negative stereotype of their Moon sign. What these people have to realize is that they, regardless of gender, are the motherly figures to most around them, not vice versa (including their own mothers, in some cases). A Mom shouldn't expect their child to understand their feelings. But, they also MUST take regular breaks from caring for others for self-care as well as to be supported by their inner circle. It's crucial that they find a nurturing partner and emotionally mature friends who they can consistently lean on. They learn that they can't trust many to truly be there for them. So these bonds are incredibly valuable and often lifelong.

MERCURY IN THE 12TH HOUSE

It's hard for Mercury in the 12th House people to get others to truly listen to them. Many of them are told they're too quiet or made to feel intellectually inferior. Others may get the opposite: that they never shut up, that they're too smart for their own good. Either way, people often respond to their perfectly good ideas and sensible insights with silence or willful ignorance. They eventually have to learn that they are here to merely act as channels for information. They are the messengers (some are gifted channelers or mediums) and that can come with the threat of getting metaphorically shot. But, it's important to not take it personally. They can also serve as voices for those who need encouragement or are too scared to speak up. People are often more receptive to the 12th House Mercury person when they're "speaking out" for a cause or something bigger than themselves. Their ideas can be seen as distracting or out there yet expressing opinions that are socially aware or will help others gets more people on board with what they're saying.

VENUS IN THE 12TH HOUSE

Venus in the 12th House people can deal with a lot of resistance in terms of other people's reactions to their love lives. This varies, though, depending on their gender expression. Those with this placement who are more feminine are routinely put on a pedestal. Few people are seen as being "good enough" for them, especially since they often have many obsessive admirers. So they make many choices in romantic partners that are deemed controversial, even if they're actually not so bad. On the flip side, those who are more masculine often are the controversial choice in love. They can be "unconventionally attractive" yet seem to pull mates who are incredibly desirable, inspiring a lot of jealousy. Either way, much of the criticism has a way of dying down if the person a) realizes what people think of their love life is irrelevant and b) takes measures to protect their relationship with enough privacy. You don't have to prove to anyone how happy of a couple you are. And not everybody is going to be genuinely happy for a thriving couple anyway.

MARS IN THE 12TH HOUSE

It can seem as if it's impossible for a 12th House Mars person to fight back. Not necessarily because they're incapable of it but because they get a lot of pushback whenever they do. Again, this can differ depending on the person's gender expression. If they are more masculine, their well-deserved moments of assertiveness and understandable anger can cause them to be labeled rude, a bully, a mean girl/boy. If they are more feminine, they may be expected to just sit there and take and take endless wrongdoings. And when they finally lash out, instead of being nice and passive, they're shamed for it. Ultimately, 12th House Mars people benefit from accepting that there are more ways to fight back than outright aggression. Depending on their Mars sign, they can kill with kindness, defeat their enemy with a logical debate or just channel their energy into the best revenge: success. In any case, the more they enforce boundaries while keeping their cool, the easier it is for others to see who the real enemy is.

JUPITER IN THE 12TH HOUSE

It can be very hard for some people to truly celebrate the victories and blessings that Jupiter in the 12th House people receive. They seem to already "have it all", whether or not this is actually true, and they have a way of activating the "lack consciousness" of particularly insecure people. They are also quite sensitive to this and can feel horribly guilty for their success and prosperity or try to make themselves smaller to comfort others. That's not the answer! But it does help to realize that not everyone wants you to thrive, unfortunately even certain loved ones. This is foreign to Jupiter in the 12th House people, who truly want others to win, which is why they can flaunt their good fortune with an innocent expectation that others will be happy for them. It's important for them to learn to "move in silence" and focus more on generously supporting others on their path. In doing so, the Universe will continue to bless them.

SATURN IN THE 12TH HOUSE

Saturn in the 12th House individuals encounter a confusing backlash when they express and display ambition. Some people will be very skeptical or critical of their goals and plans while others can pretend to be happy for them while feeling secretly jealous. The thing is that these people, often without doing anything, are already viewed as being "better" than others. They exude a certain class and distinction, always appearing in their own league. So, when they actively pursue positions of power or status, it can be seen by many as very threatening. If they are too strongly in "boss" mode, they come across as harsh, scary, or (the word that haunts them) intimidating. People are much more relaxed and receptive with them when they lead with their feminine energy. So, for Saturn in the 12th, success and influence come much easier when they are especially collaborative and supportive or simply seek to be of service to others through their work. Letting go of specific ambitions prevents them from attracting unnecessarily competitive or dismissive vibes from others. It can seem as if a person with Uranus in the 12th can't just let loose and have some fun without ruffling someone's feathers. This is often accidental as they are just more irreverent, mischievous or wickedly funny than most, without trying to be. And cool. 12th House Uranus folks are incredibly cool people, capable of setting trends and breaking new ground. If they stop pulling their little (or big) stunts, their It Factor and creative genius will shine through in a way that's undeniable, even to their critics.

NEPTUNE IN THE 12TH HOUSE

Those with Neptune in the 12th can run but they can't hide. These very sensitive people can seek solitude and private reflection to the point of reclusiveness, even the more extroverted ones. But, others refuse to leave them alone for long, especially in public. Often to their chagrin, they are very magnetic to others and their energy can be addicting to be around. And, like a celebrity of sorts, if they aren't fully receptive to their "fans" (which can include their awestruck loved ones) they can get a range of reactions from disappointment to anger to sudden indifference. It's much harder for these people to thrive when they aren't consistently putting themselves out there. Neptune in the 12th people must learn to limit their necessary recharge time and devote more energy to their adoring public. Hard as they may try, they can't fade into the background. When Pluto in the 12th House people assert their power, they can unfairly receive many harsh and extreme reactions from others. There can also be an infuriating double standard, as others may act in similarly intense, passionate or dominant ways without judgment. (I have this aspect myself in the Sidereal chart and I could never be more prouder) . Saturn will learn you about relationships and about seriousness in them.
