Y’all remember in ep 9 (Skip this Ad...olescense) when the Skipster shuffled skips? With season 1 complete I decided to look back and y’all, I found some cool stuff!!

Of course, in the first skip Lunella goes back too far. But something I missed the first time was little Casey! (Left side)

Next skip shows Torg from ep 13 (Devil on her shoulder). Also, this is when shuffle mode was activated. 

We got Lunella’s 16th birthday! I’m pretty sure she’s 13 in the show so it’s nice to think we’ll get enough eps to see her grow the next 3 years

Next skip we get the infamous Eduardo and Lunella dance date. Idk about you but I personally think they went as friends (I want Eduardo and Lunella friendship for the ADHD and Autism solidarity)

Another note: When Lunella says “Eduardo?!” he looks confused as well which is different from the other skips where no one reacts 

When I saw this one I was shocked! It’s the fight with Morlak/ Maris ep 15/16 (OMG Issue #1-2)

Then we go back to ep 13 where Devil is tiny. Little cutie!

Now onto future spoilers (?) In the finale Lunella goes into the portal to shut it down, so she went into another dimension. A dimension with another MG! 

Next skip we get karaoke from ep 7 (Goodnight, Moon Girl)

Not sure what’s happening here but looks like MG is fighting a huge robot! Does this look familiar to anyone in the Marvel universe? 

Then we get Future! Lunella/ MG who looks just like our beloved Mimi (Any Rise fans here? funny how similar the future designs are. We got the robot arm, cape/scarf combo, and cool looking tech)

Wonder what’s happening with the wanted posters in the background, looks like heroes are wanted criminals 

That’s all I could get! I can’t wait for MGADD Season 2!! 

Ok, this particular cameo in Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur is pretty sick. The Avengers theme playing in the background makes it even better.

Though, I doubt this could mean that MG and DD are in MCU canon. Yeah, it matches the look of Sam’s costume in the end of Falcon and the Winter Soldier, but I feel like they based it around him because it’s more recognizable for general audiences, even kids. I don’t mind Marvel shows doing THAT because it makes sense to use the design more people are aware of. It’s only when it becomes a commercial for the MCU is when I start drawing the line.

MG 1/100 OZ-00MS Tallgeese

Although I later became and remain a staunch Universal Century fan, seeing the unaccountably stylish hot mess that is Gundam Wing at a young age made an indelible impression. In particular, the striking design of the Tallgeese—so clean, elegant, and powerfully simple amidst a cacophany of ridiculous-looking anime robots—made it easily my favorite mobile suit from that show. It was and remains mechanized romanticism incarnate. (The potent allure of Zechs Merquise didn't hurt, either.)

Even after establishing myself as a confirmed UC devotee, my love of the Tallgeese remained undiminished. In fact, my spate of Gunpla work during the year I lived in Taibei began with a horrendous attempt at the ancient non-grade 1/100 Tallgeese:

Afterward, as I built much more sophisticated contemporary kits, I began to fervently wish Bandai would someday produce a Master Grade Tallgeese. That wish came true when the MG 1/100 Tallgeese ver. EW was announced in 2012. Although I wasn't able to work on Gunpla at the time, I picked up the kit in 2013, feeling compelled to build it eventually.

The kit remained unopened for several years. Even after moving into an apartment where I had enough space to work, I couldn't muster the energy and resolve to face the Tallgeese. In particular, I wasn't prepared to undertake the effort of partially repainting the model to match its TV colors.

However, when I finally began building again in 2021, at last I turned to the Tallgeese after a few other projects provided adequate warmup.

The result made me feel foolish for waiting so long. Although I found some of its construction a bit finicky, the kit was a joy to build. It's a magnificent implementation of the Tallgeese design, with fantastic articulation and posability.

Although it can stand if balanced with care, the weight of the large vernier thruster pods make unsupported poses somewhat tricky. Fortunately the Tallgeese is a machine meant to be in flight.

The model's greatest shortcoming is its difficulty holding its signature weapon, the delightfully named dober gun. Both the gun and the shield can be attached to the shoulder armor with articulated armatures, but when held while mounted in this way, the dober gun's posing range is very limited. I found the suit can hold the weapon more dynamically without the armature, either over the shoulder or under the arm. Yet even then Tallgeese can only do so much in terms of aiming it this way or that.

Of course the model suffers no such limitations holding its beam sabers and shield. It poses marvelously dashing or lunging into close combat.

Just watched the first 2 eps that r up on the youtube channel and I have a policy to give shows “3 episodes to wow me” and so far from the 2 I’ve seen, it’s getting there. Batman specifically, the marvel cinematic universe, cinema in general, animation, history, especially American history, etymology for no reason, Tolkien, plants, animals, most things honestly she knows a little about a lot of things and a lot about a few. She can talk about pretty much any topic for a good while it's her one skill

Aoife ~ Videogames. But especially videogames with complex, confusing, and wacky lore, because there's more to talk about there. She loves videogames and she's good at them, and Arely will happily listen because Arely also likes videogames, but unlike Aoife (and Ellie) is really bad at them and so can mostly learn about them second hand, or by watching Aoife and Ellie. Unfortunately though Arely remembers things by if they make sense or not, so if a videogame's lore doesn't really make sense (stares at MGS and Kingdom Hearts) she won't be able to remember it. But that just means Aoife gets to talk about it more. Aoife also loves select TV shows and with talk about those unendingly and one of those shows is MacGyver. Today – 11 January 2023 – on what would have been Carroll Shelby’s 100th birthday, Goodwood is delighted to announce that the legendary American driver, car manufacturer and entrepreneur will be celebrated at this year’s Goodwood Revival, over the weekend of 8-10 September 2023. The centenary of Shelby’s birth will be honoured with one of Goodwood’s signature tributes, comprising cars that were not only raced, but also designed and developed by the 1959 Le Mans winner. Running across the weekend, the celebration will include the likes of the MG-TC in which Shelby competed for the very first time, in 1952. Shelby’s impact on motor racing can be seen each and every year at the Revival, and 2023 will be no different, as an assortment of Cobras – the Anglo-American sports cars for which he is best known – are set to take to the track in the all-star Royal Automobile Club TT Celebration. Meanwhile, the Whitsun Trophy will host a number of examples of the Ford GT40, whose design Shelby played such an integral part in refining. As Goodwood celebrates 75 years of the Motor Circuit, and 25 years of the Revival, it’s a chance to reflect on the motorsport legends who have joined us over the years.
