Betrayus:*Yawns* Morning Sweeties~

Betrayus: *takes air* Shit that was a crazy night yesterday... I didn't know that you were that good in this~

Muriel: Yeah dude, you were a beast last night~

Beryl: Tsk what are you talking about? You guys are incredible~

Suddenly that human transformed their body into their original form.

Beryl have left the room, to then go to a limousine waiting for them.

Note: Beryl is the Boss of a Mafia but they mostly prefers to use their money to support places which needs monetary help.

At the School Cafeteria.

The students where still feel a little tense after that fight from yesterday, mostly of them were still feeling the hurtful words from Manny, Specially Skeebo.

Sir C and Roxy went to them to give them at least good news for them.

Sir C: *with a speaker* Uhum Uhum, A-Attention Please Students! *Sneezes* I know you have felt stressed since yesterday butbi have good news for you.

Blinky: Good News my Balls!..

Roxy: Silence! C'mon Old man put more emotion in this..

Sir C: You're right Rox, The Hot Springs are Finally open for you, so you will have a better Sunday!.

All:......*Runs off to the Hot Springs*

Sir C: Wow, that worked so well..

Roxy: you see~

The students have run away to test the new hot springs

Note: there were 5 Hot Springs Rooms: Girls Room, Boys Room , Man Staff, Woman Staff and for some reason a secret one connected with both Staff rooms (Roxy's idea).

Boys Room

The boys were enyoing their new hot spring room, Skeebo still upset went to a shower next to a really worried Bradley.

Bradley: Foxy.. are you.. alright?..

Skeebo: *sighs*......

Bradley: C'mon you can tell me..

Skeebo: That stupid.. how he dares to make fun of me!!?? just because i have no family doesn't give him the rights to talk shit to me me! Nor even for the school!

Bradley: Don't let that affect you, you have a family here.

Skeebo: But not a biological!

Bradley: !!!!....

Skeebo: My brother left me, he was supposed to take care of me, we were supposed to be family.. and he still left me... For what!? To start a band and create a new family while I was dying of hungry and Cold!!!..

Bradley: Excuse me.. i know what are you feeling but i should remember you that my dad taked you to avoid that....

Skeebo: But what if he wouldn't taked me? Huh?...

Bradley: that's a Good point... *Sighs*.. Skeebo, please family it's not based by blood lines, it's based in the people who loves you and support you as you are..

Skeebo: *turns off*... You said that because you have your own parents and sister who loves you.

Bradley: Skeebo Please... What if he had a reason to left you?

Skeebo: *Hits Bradley* A Reason to Abandon me!!??

Bradley:!!!!!!..... *Trembling*

Skeebo: *reacts* Oh... No...

Bradley:*steps back*..

Skeebo: I-i-i am s-s-so sorry SugarBun!!.. I-i didn't mean to hurt you....

Bradley:*slaps Skeebo* Don't ever call me SugarBun!..*sightly sobs*... This time you Cross the line.. i thought you already understood about that you already have a family... But im wrong...

Bradley: I Know you are really mad and hurted but that doesn't mean you can take avenge of me!

Skeebo was sobbing in the shower while the others would feel his silent lament.

Spiral: Ok Those 2 fighting? That's new

Pacster: Not really, they rarely have fights, and when they have them, they always fix the things and They reconcile with.. you know..

Blinky: I Know but this time it's harder..

Inky: yeah...

Clyde: Are they would be okay?...

Skeebo: Can you please SHUT THE FUCK UP!!?? THIS IS NOT YOUR FUCKING BUSINESS!!.

After the shower, Skeebo left to his dorm which he shares with Bradley, discovering that Bradley wasn't there..

Skeebo: *Sighs and jumps to his bed*... Bradley... If i could... Wait.. *takes his phone to make a important call* Thanks to her i got him.. i hope she can help me to bring him back..

Skeebo called an already known number which helped him as many creatures.

The Call ended, and Skeebo was looking for an special thing to fix the things with Bradley.

The Reunion finished and everyone was free to leave to their classes.

Toralei and her gang was walking around the school noticing that almost every monster was watching her and whispering to eachother.

Skeebo: .......*sighs as he sobs In silence*... I'm sorry... I really wanted to fix up the things with him, with effort and heart.. as I promised.. but I guess I most pay for not appreciate what I already had... Go ahead Mr Betrayus..

Betrayus:... Wise decision~

Betrayus hold up a big blade ready to end with the Fox's life to then....

Ranking all of the Ever After High Raven Queen dolls!

Doing another one of these with EAH !! I’ll be doing more Monster High lists soon i think, but for now I’d just like to do raven :)

Everything past my #1 pick under the cut and please note I won’t be including her comic-con doll!!

1. Spellbinding

Wow, for a doll created right on the cusp of the reboot, this raven sure is cool!! pretty sure those shoes are reused, but still, come on.

2. Thronecoming

Thronecoming was such a good line, my god. Everything was so so detailed, makes me sad that we’re literally seeing nothing like this in fashion dolls now </3

3. Signature

I have this doll! And surprisingly, she’s still in pretty good shape. Pretty sure I got her first release as well, if i remember the box correctly. But yeah, maybe I’m biased, but this is one of the best raven dolls.

4. Date Night

Maybe and unpopular choice, but i really like this one? Such a cute outfit!!! pale lipstick is probably an interesting choice for raven, but i think they made it work here lol.

5. Getting Fairest

As with apples doll in this line, i just really like how simple these look. The headphones are so cute too!! and those slippers really do remind me of monster high, lmao

6. Dragon Games

Forgive me for putting her at #6, but i just hate to lose the black in ravens hair!! MUCH better than apples dragon games doll though quality wise, the return on cloth leggings!!

7. Legacy Day

Hmmm, i feel bad putting her so low, seeing as how detailed she is, but something has always struck me as a bit off about this doll. I’ve never been sure of what it is though. Anyways, she’s still really nice looking, not sure whats wrong w/ me

8. School Spirit

All I really have to say here is that red highlights on raven look 100x better than purple ones on apple, and im really not sure as to why. Her hat is a little cheesy, but otherwise i like her!!

9. Way Too Wonderland

While the set she comes with is really cool, I cant help but feel as if something about her outfit is a tad bit in-cohesive. The all-black shoes, maybe? Also, yellow on a raven queen is something to see.

10. Enchanted Picnic

Not even a bad doll, to be honest, just a little plain. Maybe if she had some type of leggings or tights it would look a bit better, and match her style more.

11. Magic Arrow

Oh god, and here comes the reboot. If you ask me, they really treated raven the WORST when it came to the new dolls. Unlike Apple, the smiling face looks very bad, and her “best” looking doll can barely even move her arms for anything other than shooting an arrow!! So disappointing, really.

12. Sweet Treats

What the hell did they do to her?? Raven would NEVER wear this, im sorry. Like seriously? pastel blue and purple with cupcakes? its almost absurd.

13. Tea Party

Design wise about 10x better than sweet treats, but quality times about 10x worse. These molded/painted outfits are about to make me go actually crazy, how much worse can you even get?

14. Basic Budget

You can get MUCH worse. She’s barely even raven at this point, I will never forgive mattel for these crimes.

15. Budget Ballet

If you saw my apple list, you most likely saw this coming. This is probably the worst EAH line, and I cannot think of a single thing to like here. </3 bring the real raven back

Romeo and Juliette

Summary-Harry x reader-you were away filming and you come home to a surprise.

A/N: Hey y'all! hope you had a good one, here is another fic I wrote weeks ago, so this one might be bad lol. Hope you all enjoy!

“I should be home in 2 hours, babe.” you said as you saw your boyfriend on the screen who was grinning.

“I'm glad, i have something planned for us if that's okay.” he said as you giggled.

“Okay, what are we doing.” you said as he squinted and then rolled his eyes playfully.

“I can't really tell you love.” he said as you smiled.

“Okay then, I should see you soon bubs.” you said as he smiled.

“Alright love, fly safe, love you.” he said.

You said goodbye and started to head to the airport. You didn't really like flying alone, but if Harry was gonna be there when you landed, you were gonna fly alone. You and Harry have been dating for about 3 years, you two were sweethearts. It took both of you a while to admit your feelings to one another, so once it happened, everyone was relieved that you two were together. Tom and his brothers knew Harry was in love with you, the way he looked at you as you read your novel, he loved the way your eyes would look through each word of the page.

At this point both Tom and Sam planned out for you all to hang out, but by the end both Tom and Sam bailed on you guys leaving you both to hang out. Harry knew this was his time to tell you, he knew he had to make it special and he did.

As you two looked at one another's eyes, he looked down at your hand and held it. His thumb placed circles on your hands, and you looked at his beautiful brown eyes. He just said it, “i'm in love with you.” he said as you fell for him much more. He looked at your face features for any sign of rejection, but all you could do was look at him in awe. You smiled and spoke, “im in love with you too.” you said as he smiled and placed his hands on your face and kissed you deeply. You grabbed his neck, taking him in even more, wanting him to be closer to you much more.

As your kiss ended, you looked at one another. You both had turned around and saw Sam and Tom whooping and clapping at what just happened, their plan worked and in a way you were thankful for them bailing.

Ever since then you would always want to be closer to harry, especially when you were away, you just missed him, the way he would caress your cheek, the way he played with your hair, he loved how you played with his hair and called him sweet things like, my sweet boy, or bubs, which was his favorite.

He loved you and you for sure loved him. No matter what he was your person and you were his. Since day one he knew that he wanted to be with you for the rest of his life. You wanted the same, it didn't matter if you had a ring on your finger or if you had a kid with him. You knew he was the one. You loved him endlessly. What you didn't know was that he was ready for you to be in his life forever, and be Mrs. Holland.

As you woke up, you saw there were about five minutes on the plane, you just wanted to see Harry and hug him close to you. What you didn't know was that he was waiting for you with flowers. His plan was to take you to where your first date was, the museum. You two had spent hours looking through the art and the historical books. At one point Harry mentioned that even with the beautiful art surrounding them, that you were the most beautiful art. You remember that pick up line so easily, it was your favorite pick up line he said.

As you landed and got your luggage, you walked up to where Harry was going to be. You hadn't seen him near, so you called him.

“Hey bubs, im here, are you near by?” you asked as he giggled.

“Eah I am, here let me move around see if you can see me alright?” he said as you nodded as if he was there. He walked over to you, behind you actually, and saw how you were looking around.

“I miss you harry.” you said as he laughed.

“Me too love.” he said close to you as he hugged you and you smiled hugging him close.

“Hi, oh flowers?” you asked as he nodded and handed them to you.

“Yeah I just want you to know I love you so much, I was gonna do something big, but I only had time for flowers.” he said as you smiled and looked down at the flowers.

“Harry, these are lovely, no matter what you give me I will love it if it comes from you.” you said as he looked at you in awe.

This was one of the many reasons he loved you so much. His past relationships were bad for him since the girls he was with were only trying to get with Tom, or just being with him because of what he makes.

But you, you were different. You would get mad if he ever took you out to an expensive date, or even if he bought you a gift. You always loved getting flowers or books from him. Especially if it's a book you were wanting. You were in love with him because of him, you have been for years.

“So what's on the agenda bubs.” you asked as he took your luggage and your hand.

“Well love, we are actually on our way.” he said as you freaked out a little since you didn't really look that fancy.

“Wait, i'm not that well dressed bubs.” you said as he shook his head.

“Its okay love, you look beautiful, so we'll be fine.” he said as you smiled.

“Thank you bubs, you look very handsome as well.” you said as he blushed, getting all flustered.

You two got in the car and headed over to the secret destination. He headed the museum where you had your first date. You were a little confused as to why you were there, but you loved to visit the museum with him. He had opened your side of the door and let you out.

“Where are we going first.” you said exciting to see the art.

“Well, what's the first one we saw on our first date.” he asked as you thought.

“Oooh the Romeo and Juliet painting..right?” you said as he nodded.

That painting was one of your favorites. You were wondering why he mentioned that painting. As you walked over to where the painting was located he held your hand. He was so nervous he was gonna mess up, but even if he did you would say yes.

“I uhm, can you tell me about the panting again.” he said as you looked up at him.

“Why bubs? Do you have to recreate something like this?” you said as he shook his head and placed you in his arms.

“No, i just like it when you talk about it.” he said as you kissed his cheek as he laid his chin on your shoulder.

“Well, I love how they love each other, despite the age gap, but you know I wish Shakespeare made Juliet the same age as Romeo, so there isn't that much conflict. Anyway you know they don't care about what people think about their love, even if Romeo was a Montague, Juliet loved him. Which proves that no matter what, a human being will always love another, despite differences they may have that could create conflict. If they were alive i feel like they would break the rules of marriage. Again i wish juliet was the same age as him.” you said as you continued to ramble. He loved it when you rambled. He loved how much passion you put in a conversation. He had let go of you and got behind you. You didn't really notice because when you ramble you ramble a lot. He got down on one knee and just smiled hoping you would turn around. Lucky you did.

“You know I just love it-” you said as you looked down. You were shocked and you smiled.

“Well, I should probably do this before you cry love.” he said as he got the ring out and you gasped.

“Just like juliet you love me no matter what, even if i forget to do my laundry, you still find the way to help me do it, i love that you are with me, i wish we were together when we were much younger, but you know i was scared. I was scared to loose what i had with you. I loved it way too much, but now i wish i did it sooner. I want to spend the rest of my life with you, just like you ramble on and on about a subject. I want you to be there with me forever. You've been there for me from the beginning and I want you to be there in the end.” he said as you smiled and had tears rolling down your cheek.

“So, will you, y/n, y/m/n, y/l/n, do me the honor and spend the rest of your life with me and become my wife?” he said as you smiled and nodded.

“Yes I will.” you said as he slipped the ring on your finger and hugged you.

You both hugged one another in the middle of the museum. You knew this was one of the memories your mind was never going to forget. You two were meant to be and you were happy to one day tell your kids you were soulmates.

My Thoughts on Apple White :

since i was pretty young, i've always been obsessed and feel pity towards characters who are misunderstood or is usually everyone's least favourite. not the ones that are completely annoying or evil for no reason tho, which is why i've always been an apple white stan from the beginning. i understand the way she thinks and dislike raven because i was quite biased. as an apple stan, i see raven as just annoying, but on the other hand, a lot of people find apple as cruel and selfish when that is not the case.

in order to know about her more, we need to obviously learn more about her childhood. there isn't really a book about her background so the only information about her childhood that i can find is just based on predictions from The Dragon Games Special. from there we learn that apple has been groomed to be this picture perfect princess ever since she was incredibly young and has basically been thought (/brain washed) that she is the main character that will get her happy ending just like her mother, and that she must ensure that it will remain the same. born spoiled and controlled by her power hungry + strict mom, we find out that apple has only been able to succeed this much as a princess because of nepotism, royals status, and her destiny, all the way from her popularity (which is controlled by her mom as well), admirers, and even friends.

unlike raven who was born as an outcast meaning that she is woke about the whole unjustice system + wants to change her destiny, apple was born into a perfect life that everybody wants. including raven who in a way is jealous ofc which is why she encourages a large number of students who are outcasts as well to become rebels. it honestly makes perfect sense to me on why apple begged raven to stop it and to just follow her destiny, because hers is already perfect. raven envies apple's destiny and thinks its unfair that she has to be the villain while apple gets a lovely ending, which is true and makes totally perfect sense. so obviously it makes sense that apple wants to keep hers as well. they're both just two sides of the same coin wanting the exact same happily ever after, the difference is just that apple's will be handed over to her and all she needs to do at the moment is to just wait and prepare for it while raven is stuck playing the villain role.

a lot of people mention that they're reason of dislike towards apple is because she is selfish and privilleged, which is half true. yes she is born privilleged, but even tho she got it all through nepotism, she still needed to work hard in order to maintain the position that she was already given. unlike characters like ashlyn ella or briar beauty, apple takes full advantage of her popularity and works hard to maintain it. people will especially judge you a lot and will find mistakes in order to take you down because of it, so its important that apple herself to work hard in order to keep her position. i'm sorry but do you really think that being kind, sweet, and friendly 24/7 is easy? like even if she has a bad day she'll still have to put on a smile or people will judge her. other than that she's constantly pressured and is under observation by not only her mom, but her people and by other students as well. there's one thing in getting things easily, but keeping it is a whole different thing. i truely admire apple for always being able to put up a smile for everyone even when she's feeling sad and i honestly relate to her a lot. unlike raven, she can't just explode or get angry at someone. more than that, she can't really tell others how she truely feels since it's probably against her mother's teaching or smth. you can clearly tell that apple doesn't really like the way she got her position and is actually woke about the nepotism she receives because sometimes she feels like she doesn't deserve it, as i've mentioned before, apple's success (or at least the beginning of it) is all because of nepotism. the reason she is the most respected princess is because of her mom's legacy. which is why she tries so hard to be the best at everything, to prove to the people and her mom that she deserves to be in the position that she is rn and will do anything in order to keep it.

what's also sad is that while she's expected to be this perfect future ruler, people only expect certain things from her at the same time. like she's only expected to be this porcelain doll, to please men, be a good and fair ruler for her subjects, to be a role model for young girls, and to smile next to her prince (who she actually barely knows). thats it. people only praise her for her beauty and charm. the world of EAH is surprisingly set to be a not so misogynistic world. despite that, the few people who suffer from it (based from my observations) are cerise, darling, lizzie, and apple. if you pay attention, despite the many other accomplishments apple has, no one really praises her for her grades, work in other fields that doesn't involve charity, and her brilliance. she's usually only praised for her beauty and i feel like she gets sick of it at times as well. the only reason daring even stuck with her is because she's his supposed destiny and beauty, vice versa.

other than that, i also feel like apple's depressed and has anxiety at times but is just really good at hiding it since she was probably told to do so from a young age and i pity her for it. i feel so bad for her, and when raven didn't want to follow her destiny, imagine how she felt. her heart probably shattered because of it since it means that everything she has been given, dreamed, and worked hard for will all go to waste. which was why she tried so hard to get raven back to follow her destiny.

im happy that in the end she doesn't really push her too much tho since she sees raven as a true friend. it must honestly suck for her that raven is the only one who sees her as a regular person (even tho she sometimes raven explodes as well and thinks that apple doesn't have feelings of empathy). when apple said something like "no you're the one who's being selfish raven", i feel like its true. apple honestly doesn't only think of herself, but for others as well. in her story alone, everyone else will get their happy ending except for raven. it works like this in many other stories as well. it's said that if raven doesn't follow her destiny as the evil queen then everyone else in snow white's story (who are all set to receive a happy ending) will all 'cease to exist'. if she does that, many people who aren't happy about their ending will do the same as well, leaving a large percantage of people 'ceasing to exist' as well or at least won't get their happy ending. in my opinion, apple is just looking at the larger scale, and from a neutral side, apple's reason makes the most sense towards me. raven was selfish, but then she has her reasons so whatevs. my point of making this post is to stop apple white haters and for them to look at the bigger picture, or at least from my pov as an apple stan. that is all thank you <3

Foot Issues

alright so im feeling inspired so here's a little thing I whipped out

Pairing: BalletTeacherJungkook x DanceStudentReader (mostly ballet)

Warnings: It sounds like a foot kink but its not, (unless you want it to be i guess) readers feet are disgusting, pain because ballet=pain, maybe sugar daddy (who knows, definetly not me 0-o)

Genre: Its literally fluff and I think im gonna make this a series because this is adorable

Summary: Reader is having some foot problems in ballet class one day and Jungkook is quick to check in on her

Ok so Jungkook is one of the biggest goofballs and relatively new to teaching

He's trained all his life in ballet, but after three years at a professional company he decided its not his cup of tea and he loves teaching so much more than performing

He gets job offers from a handful of state dance schools where they teach more than just ballet

He decides on the school that allows him to teach both the littles and the bigger kids because Jungkook is a sucker for the six-year-old smilies with the missing teeth.

When Jungkook firsts start his job he's quick to familiarize himself with the other teachers

Hoseok teaches Hip hop and Jimin teaches jazz and contemporary

It's a pretty versatile studio and the owner Kim Namjoon, even though he doesn't particularly dance, is suddenly Jungkooks idol

Namjoon is so good with the kids and teens, and he's so young and has already created such a strong business

Insert Jungkook making heart eyes at Namjoon uwu

But then Namjoon introduces Jungkook to you

You are one of the girls on scholarship taking the upper-level classes while pursuing a dance degree at college

"Jungkook, this is (y/n). She's one of the university students here on a scholarship. You might see her around because she clean's the studios on Monday and Wednesdays as apart of her scholarship, so if you need anything and can't find the other teachers feel free to ask her."

Jungkook thinks you look sweet enough, but it's odd for him at first because you only look two or three years younger than him but he's gonna be your teacher

You smile and try not to bust a nut because oh my god he's fucking attractive

You try to mask the color on your cheeks but before you can talk more Mr. Park is calling you because Contemporary is about to start

So you yeet yourself out of there, finally letting out a breath you didn't know you were holding

So you find out Jungkook is a pretty decent teacher

The only issue is all of the other uni students are too busy staring at his ass than actually paying attention

Well....you are too, but you aren't as obvious as them, right?

The cast list for the show specifically for the university kids is coming out soon

The show is the wizard of oz and you really want to be the wicked witch of the west

What? Not only does she get to do the fun, big jumps but Dorothy is overrated

So you have been working really hard in class and haven't really been paying attention to Jungkook until your foot starts to hurt bad

Your pointe shoes are relatively new and you haven't rolled your ankle so you don't really understand why

Jungkook comes up to you during a développé combination and he's grabbing your leg and placing your foot on his shoulder, his hands pushing your ankle up.

Ooooof the pain

you bite your lip to avoid the discomfort but Jungkook only scolds you,

"Relax."

sure relax, you try lifting your leg above your head.

But no, seriously Jungkooks extensions are insane, you watched him do a leg hold turn once and it was crazy

When Jungkook puts your leg down he immediately notices how red and swollen your foot is

After barre when all of the students go to the centre he calls you out and asks you to put on your flat shoes

You blank because

First off, he didn't ask any of the other girls to take off their pointe shoes, and you don't want him to think you're lazy or incapable and then give you a bad part in the show

You kind of stand there like an idiot while he raises his eyebrows at you,

"Bu-"

"now (y/n)"

Jungkook is never really strict with your class, sure he gets annoyed when some of you get off the music (cough cough* its always Lisa* cough cough) or when he has to give the same corrections, but he's pretty chill, he even lets you call him Mr. Jungkook

He wanted to be called Jungkook but Namjoon said he needed to keep a level of professionalism

Anyways

Jungkook sound generally mad at you and you try to hide your annoyed facial expression while you rip off your ribbons and slip on the flat shoes that make you look like a novice

On the bright side, you can do a triple pirouette in flat shoes while you can only do doubles on a good day in your pointe shoes

Class is kind of hazy because you're still annoyed but once it's over all of the girls go to bow to Jungkook because it's proper and you should always bow to your teacher

"Wait, (y/n), can you stay after? I want to take a look at your foot."

"Um...ye-eah, sure."

Fuck

You're gonna be alone with this snack

Jungkook sits cross-legged on the floor, clad in his tight, but somehow flexible jeans and his black T-shirt

"Did you do something to your foot? It was really swollen in your pointe shoe today."

You take off your flat shoes and roll back the tights of your injured foot though you practically feel no pain

Okay...

SO Jungkook is ATTRACTIVE, and he's gazing at your feet as if its the most important thing on the planet

but your feet are fucking disgusting

Your big toe lost a toenail the other day and you have blisters on your third and fourth toes. Bandages cover your pinky and its completely red.

"I'm gonna touch your foot."

Jungkook grabs your foot and puts it in his lap and looks up at you through the fringe of his hair, and this motherfucker starts to giggle

"Um..." You worry he's lost his shit for a second but then he's looking back down at your foot

"I've seen my fair share of gross feet (y/n), no need to be embarrassed"

Okay you're blushing all over and looking anywhere but him as he starts to ask questions

"Does it hurt? Can you feel this? Have you rolled over your box"

"No, no, and no."

This boi

He starts to massage your foot

Your filthy, ugly, foot

and it's strangely intimate

You gasp in a very unsexual way that sounds very sexual

You suddenly feel everything as if the blood was finally rushing to your foot

"Your pointe shoes are definitely too tight. My guess is that because of how hard you've been working your feet have swelled up a bit, which is normal-"

How can Jungkook move his hands like that? His fingers are spreading the skin and rolling his palm against the arch of your foot and it feels like heaven. His hands are distracting you so much that you don't even hear the compliment he gave you

"You're gonna need new pointe shoes though."

You stop drooling and flinch your foot away from his hands

"What?"

"You need new pointe shoes."

POINTE SHOES ARE EXPENSIVE

and you're BrOKe, there's a reason you're a scholarship girl

"What would happen if I just keep dancing on the pointe shoes I have now."

He sends you the same glare he did in class

"I won't let you dance in those shoes (y/n). They cut off your circulation and could damage your feet."

His eyes suddenly widen and he starts to blush a bit, "if money is a problem I can help you out."

"What? No, I can figure something out, and I don't want you to feel like I'm using you and I already have the scholarship I cou-"

Jungkook after rubbing some hand sanitizer into his hands that are kept in all the studios helps you to your feet by gently grabbing your hands

"(Y/n) I know your scholarship doesn't cover your pointe shoes, and if you want to be ready for rehearsals for Wiz you'll need them by Wednesday."

He gauges your reaction carefully and gently grabs your elbows as he stands in front of you,

"Hear me out, I pay for them, you pay me back when you have the money. Deal?"

You hate this, but you have no idea what else to do, and he's right. If you don't have them for rehearsals they might lower your position or not cast you.

"Fine."

You're suddenly very conscious of how close the two of you are and you both jump away as if you've burned each other

"Um, I should go." You turn to grab your bag but just before you head out the door you send Jungkook a smile.

"Mr. Jungkook, thank you seriously."

Jungkook will come to realize, that your smile will be stuck in his head for the rest of the week.

Explain the meaning of your favorite line of dialogue you've written as if someone hasn't read it in context. “He doesn’t know,” Katsuki says, softly. “My timer stopped and nothing happened. He’s not mine.”

the line is from what we deserve!! it's a soulmate au where your timer counts down to the moment that you meet your soulmate!! bakugou's timer ends at USJ when he and kirishima attack kurogiri at the same time (impulsive kings <33) but kirishima's timer doesn't end until kamino because that's when he accepts himself as bakugous soulmate!! unfortunately, when bakugous timer has reached 0, he turned to see that kirishima's was still ticking and therefore believes that kirishima isn't his soulmate.

this line just,, idk. it's really sad. bakugou is such an action-driven character? if something doesn't go his way he Makes it go his way. he's got this insanely volatile quirk and he's got impeccable control of it!! but his love for kirishima isn't something that he can change and he's not going to ruin kirishima's chance of finding his own soulmate because he loves him and wants him to be happy. i really wanted to focus on how resigned he is? and how unusual that is for a character like him.

How would you describe your style? i tend to use shorter sentences and pretty simple words i think? and i gravitate towards lighthearted concepts that allow for ensemble casts and humour!!

What colors would you use to describe your writing? hm,,, depends on the fic i would say?? control fraek is dark green to me?? kinda like a forest at night yk?? scary but there's still life there. sugar cookies is yellow like early morning sunlight, when it rains is yellowy-orange like a caution sign. not gonna list all of them cause theres a lot its just. do u get it? the colours change based on the vibe of the fic.

What song or music genre would you use to describe your writing? think. i am constantly trying to emulate that moment at the end of wasteland baby when hozier goes "im in love/im in love with you."

CONCEPTUALIZATION

How do you conceptualize your ideas? (See specific moments like they're a movie, writing specific lines in your head, don't know until you put the words on paper, etc.) i tend to get inspiration from movies, books, poems, or other fics!!! sometimes one line just makes me go oh,, i want to write something like that,,, and then it helps me create an idea that makes me feel the same way?? i did this with control fraek!!!! i wanted a scenario where bakugou was cold and calculating and i was like hm. to do that he’d have to be focusing on something important. and from there i was able to flesh out the rest of the idea.

Which comes first: the pairing or the plot? with krbk its always always the pairing,, i'll be sitting there like wow <33 i love them <33 what if one of them had amnesia <33 (which, yes, wip!!) otherwise it's usually the plot!! and i slot in characters that i feel make sense

Have you ever used a prompt? yeah!! used a prompt for wlw week 2020 and it was fun as hell

Do you write around the story around a specific scene you want to get to or do you start from a plot idea definitely the first!!!! i almost always write like,,, a super messy scene thats 90% dialogue, keep it in my head, and then write the entire fic around that one moment

Do you find that you include a projection of some part of yourself in the way you write a character? a lot of the time when i write love confessions or love in general i'll have one of the characters think or say that the other person makes their head quiet? and it's because that's what i feel whenever i'm in love?? a quiet mind. i project on characters yeah but i think most of the projection actually goes to the way that i write love

Do you research some of the things you write deeply, partially and kind of wing the rest, or play entirely by ear (in this case, go with whatever base knowledge of the subject you have)? most of the time if i do research it'll be about the setting (ex. the izakaya in to have and to hold) or if i'm having the characters interact with an object that they like. need to know how to use (me, in control fraek: google. hey google. does someone die if they get shot in the foot??? no???? awesome thank u <3)

Have you ever had an idea for a story and forgot about it? lmaoo yeah all the time i'll find like 500-2k words of concepts in my gdocs like i do. not remember this at all

Are there concepts you've tried that turned out better than expected? yeah!! i fully thought the action in control fraek would be awful but it turned out not bad??? which im happy with

Are there concepts you've tried that turned out worse than you expected? again, what we deserve, i personally think it would have worked out better if i'd paced it slower and drawn out the pining but i. do not feel like going back to fix it so its staying the way that it is. pining is so fucking hard to do AHHHH i get so tired with it!!! im like just date already!!!!

PROCESS

How do you come up with titles? in rare occasions (literally. all my multichaps for some reason) the title comes after writing like .5 words of the first chapter im like YES this is it!!!!! sometimes i write the whole thing and pick out one line that fits (what i did with come home to me) a lot of the time i just. steal from songs or poems that i like

What's your favorite emotion to cause on your readers? i like making people happy!!!! love when people comment saying they're cheered up

What's your favorite emotion to write? lovelovelovelovelovelove

Have you ever cried or felt any emotion while reading something you've written? never cried?? but sometimes i'll rereading my hurt/comfort fics 4. yk. comfort

Do you write in order or whatever comes to you? in order!! unless i have a scene that i Need to write and i'll quickly jot it down so that i don't forget

Usual way you procrastinate while writing? ...doing asks like this, making playlists, discord, watching netflix. what don't i do smh

Do you outline or free write? i am. so shit at outlines. i mostly free write and write lil notes for stuff that i wanna add later

Do you set word goals or scene goals (scenes you want to include)? yes!! like i said i'll write loose notes for scenes that i want to add later!! it gives me something to write towards :D

What do you consider when writing your scenes? what goes into making the atmosphere and mood you want? to set a scene i do two things? the first is like,, the five senses bc that always sets the scene really well and makes it feel Real. i'll visualize stuff in my head like its a movie and write out what i would want to tell the set designer?? if the lights are low, if the space is busy, if it's supposed to exude comfort or not.

for putting forward the character's mood one thing i've found that makes a difference is sentence length!! long sentences are good for making a character seem flustered and nervous or not really in control of their emotions? good for love confessions. short sentences are good for when the character is focused on something or short on time. good for fights!!

What's something you never considered to include in your writing that you can't leave out now? def buff hagakure,,,, once i thought of it i was like. if i don't include this at least once in every single fic how could i look at myself in the mirror!!!!!! how could i face anyone!!!!

How do you start a story? establishing a fact about the character or describing the setting! option a is one single thread of gold, option b is between lion and men

How do you end a story? either by tying it back to the beginning or doing like a funny kind of closing??? option a is sugar cookies, option b is a godless society

How do you get out of writer's block? change something!! move something!! i go from typing to handwriting, moving from my bedroom to my living room, switching wips to work on something else!! i do sprints as well?? give myself like fifteen minutes to write something and sometimes 200 words opens up the way for another 2k. sometimes i'll just delete like 500 words and start fresh

Do you edit? or do you toss your writing out there? i edit!!! i'll go over it myself then send it to one or two betas (bee my beloved <33)

How do you edit? do you use spellcheck, grammar checkers, etc? bee is my grammar checker bc he is So Good with grammar. i use grammarly as well for spellcheck stuff mostly?? sometimes my edit process is just like "am i tired of looking at this!! yes <3" and then i post it

PROGRESS

Do you usually like what you write? yeah!!! i post stuff that makes me happy and that i'm fine with rereading!!! i write stuff for self-indulgence reasons first and foremost and i think my writing reflects that sjhnksj

Have you ever written something you didn't like but posted anyways? nope!! even what we deserve i LIKED even if i see a lot of room 4 improvement!! if i don't like smth it's not getting posted

Do you find yourself rereading your writing often? yeah!! the reason i wrote so much krbk secret relationship is because i loved it but i'd read all that there was so i just,, wrote more,, ngl its kinda nice being in a place where i actually like my writing bc i can write stuff that i want to see and really enjoy it!!

Can you tell us anything about your current WIP? sure!! i'm currently working on when it rains which is a fic where bakugou gets hit by a crying quirk!! i'm gonna be using it to explore So Much of all might's character and his relationships with bakugou and aizawa (and i think some people from his past!!)

Can you give us a sneak peek on your current WIP? “You did something. What the hell did you do?” Kirishima sounds pissed off. It would amuse Katsuki if he wasn’t fighting just to stay standing.

“Nothing he didn’t ask for,” Shinsou replies.

“K’ri… shima,” Katsuki croaks out. “‘S fine. Not him.”

His chest collapses back into the familiar dry heaving after that but Kirishima shuts up. He doesn’t apologize to Shinsou.

Kirishima’s a good friend, stubborn and loyal. He stands by Katsuki’s side like an attack dog, blocking him from the view of anyone ogling at his tears.

The last line you've written Ochako knows more than she'd realized. She knows enough to keep her guard up.

INSIGHT

What's your favorite thing about writing? touched on this before but it's mainly just being able to write the things that i want to see and actually enjoy them!!! actually reread them!!!! i thought "wouldn't it be cool if bkg and kirishima owned a restaurant together" and then i wrote it and i like it enough to reread it!!!! being able to create content for myself makes me. so happy

How do you keep yourself inspired? this is gonna sound narcissistic maybe but honestly i'm just really excited about my ideas and where i'm gonna take them and the idea of "i'm gonna get to That scene" keeps me going through the entire thing. also my friends!!!! i'll talk to them about fics and their reactions keep me hyped up enough to finish!!!!

What is your favorite thing to write? just,, slice of life romance,,, stuff thats silly and makes people laugh!!

What do you think your strengths are in writing? i'm good with dialogue!! i do lil voice acting sessions with myself to make sure everything sounds natural and like it's coming from that character skhjnskj

i'm comfortable with my portrayal of love as well??? i spend a lot of time thinking about what it is exactly that i'm trying to get across and i think it turns out well!!

What are things you wish you could practice more? on one hand i wanna get better at writing angst on the other hand i dislike writing angst. do you see my issue

One way you've improved your writing since you began? characterization!! i think i've gotten better at writing characters that are all Different and bring different things to the table!!! i used to project a lot more and it would compromise the characterization because the character was like 70% me and 30% them? not to say that projection is bad but if you do it too much it just,, doesn't read like the character and from a reader's standpoint the narrative can become less compelling

One aspect of writing you're still working on? writing action!!! i. literally hate writing it but i write for a fandom about superheroes so. Unfortunately i gotta learn.

A piece of writing advice you've learned while writing saw this on another tumblr post but they said sometimes if you're struggling with a scene, the problem is five lines back. i've found that to be true!!!! sometimes u gotta delete a chunk and start a little ways back!! i did this with too busy being yours because i was stuck for Weeks and i deleted like 25% of what i had but it helped me actually finish it :D

A bit of writing advice you can't stand when people shit on show don't tell for being overrated lmao bc when u read their writing you can Tell

Something you wish you knew when you first started writing? ,,,,honestly i kind of wish i could know some of the stuff that i used to when i first started writing?? technically i'm better now but creatively i was must better when i wasn't stressing about whether anyone would like what i was writing. so i guess i wish i knew that i should keep that confidence? i kinda wish that i wasn't as insecure about other people's writing styles because i never used to be!!

oH I deeply desire that last drabble from Lux's perspective. Especially with him asking Emory to leave. That sounds really hard for them both. And maybe some fluff and comfort at the end.

here you go, the last drabble’s conversation between lux and quinn, from lux’s perspective! or at least, mostly. at the end it’s back to quinn.

“H-he, he, uh… do you - d’you re-eally need to know, ev-veryting?” Lux twists his shirt between his fingers, his stomach sinking when Quinn nods, serious and focused.

“I’m sorry, I know it’s hard,” They offer, with the kind of tone that a funeral director would use when guiding a customer through their grief politely, but waiting for the check to be written at the end of the consultation.

“I-it’s… it’s okay,” Mutters Lux, glancing at the bedroom door. Emory’s in there, probably fuming, itching to kick Quinn out but respecting that Lux asked him to back off. This feels like something he needs to do. Lux always wanted to offer this stuff up to the Resistance, to be used, to save lives. It’s gotta be useful somehow. “Um… so you, you wanna know what he li-iked?”

Quinn nods, loosely curly hair swaying. Their freckles, big and splotchy, remind Lux of Emory a little bit. They look gentle, kind, soft around the edges - but they’re just not. Lux wonders if they ever were. Being a magic user tends to rob you of your softness.

“O-okay. Um… he liked getting reactions out of me. The whip, that’s what - tha-at, that’s what got me all scared, in the beginning. Put me on edge. And it hurts, it - he’s really strong. Um. He likes… uh, humiliation. Making you feel ashamed, making you beg, and not giving you what you beg for, or - or giving it to you, and making you thank him. He, liked it when… when I was sweet. Uh, he called me sweet when I, when I leaned into touch, you know, just, I was exhausted, and hurting, and, and I was down there a long time, with no one, and he, when he was, gentle…”

At Lux’s pause, thick with upset, Quinn figures they should offer reassurance to keep him going. “You don’t have to justify yourself. He broke you down like that on purpose. It helps to hear, I promise. All of this is important, it helps.”

The warlock nods, more to himself than anything, it seems. “Okay. Okay, if it helps. Um… he li-ikes choking. He’s strong, li-ike I said, and… and he does it for hours. Likes the bruising. T-touches…” Lux ghosts a finger along his own throat in haunted gesture, and Quinn tenses in anger. Javi, coming home with his throat black and blue, breaths catching and crashing together with panic.

They push it down. School their expression. Listen as Lux pushes through his aching memories.

“Uses magic, so you can’t breathe. It was like… like pushing all the air out of an air mattress. He’d push down, on my ribs, and use magic to make me breathe out, all the way out, no air - and then I couldn’t breathe in. And he, he’d let me breathe, a little bit, so I wouldn’t pass out, so he could do it for - for too long. He likes that. Likes, the… the control, I guess. It’s all about control, with him. Anything that makes him feel like you’re just, just, like… a broken thing he can twist around and get reactions out of. He likes, sounds, little sounds. When you’re scared. I don’t - is this he-elping? It feels, feels like I’m not saying anything useful.”

“Oh, it’s helping. It makes a big difference, to know what he likes, what he searches for. What motivates him. Did he ever go too far? Lose control, do damage he regretted?”

Lux’s eyes flicker away, in the search for memories. Shudders and flinches tug at him until he seems to have an answer picked out. “…Ye-eah. He… gets really angry. Beats, um, h-he, he beat me, when he was re-eally mmmh, m-mad. And. Like, one time, he was hitting me, and he couldn’t stop, and… m-m-my face was… was all crunched up. I, um, I don’t remember when he stopped, or what happened, I think I went… I think I checked out. But he fixed it, with magic. Held me, said sorry for going too far. Said he didn’t want me to die. So I guess… guess I got close to it. If he goes too far, he has healing magic, he can… he knows how to keep someone alive. He uh, only used it on me, while I was there, let the rest of them die. But I - it’s better if you die, I think. Be-eing kept alive, and there being no hope, it… does things to you.”

“What did it do to you, Lux?”

The question startles him visibly. Quinn guesses that this house he has, and his boyfriend, and protective friends like Anders Reyan, has all added up to him forgetting how brusque magic users are. How life-and-death desperation hardens you. He seems to remember, after a minute, that that’s how it is.

“It… made me need him. Need comfort, need to be held, told I was, I was a… told I was good.”

“Wait, told you were a-? A what?”

Lux looks ashamed. This is some of that humiliation he was talking about, that the Hunter likes. “Um… needed him to, to tell me I wa-as a… a good boy. He, he said it a lot. Asked if I was being good, his voice all soft, like… like he was proud. And when I was bad, he…” Lux takes a quivering breath. “…I-it got a reaction out of me.”

This is all very useful. Quinn needs to know more, needs to know everything, especially the humiliating stuff. “Do you think it was to break you down, make you easier to control? Or did he just like it?”

This conversation is going to end soon. Lux doesn’t look like he can take much more. Quinn needs to extract as much as they possibly can, fast.

“He - he just liked it. The, the punishments for being bad were, were so bad, so - scary… even when I was, uh, wasn’t good yet, in the beginning, I learned quick that he’s… he’s scary when he’s angry.”

“How many hours long was each… would you call them sessions?”

“Just - he just went as long as he felt like. Sometimes just came down to hurt me for, for five minutes, to break my arm or, or something - sometimes, so m-many hours, I can’t - I don’t even know. Too long. Passed out and, and woke up, again and again, and it was still going.”

“Did he keep hurting you when you were passed out? Does he do it to see the damage, or just for the reactions, the fear?”

Lux’s voice is crackling, his eyes tearing up. He’s nearly spent. “Hnn - u-uh, he, he kept, k-kept going, sometimes, when, when, I was, passed o-out, just ‘cause - ‘cause I’d be more hurt, when I woke up, and more, more n-needy.”

“Did he like the screams the most? Or some other sound? Or did he care more about how you moved?”

A soft grinding choking sound comes from Lux’s throat, two tears dripping onto his lap. He’s captivated and horrified by the questions. “He… he… liked the, little whines. The, the, panic sounds. Um… s-, he, liked…” A shuddering breath in, and Lux squeezes his eyes shut, big tears beading on his lashes. Quinn needs more. “When I wa-as sweet he, sometimes, he pu-ushed ha-a-arder, to ma-ake me, make me, just… just break down. And, someti-imes, he, stopped. Mnh. He-eld me. Kissed me-e on the he-ead and told me I wa-as good… ple-, please, I can’t, n-no more…”

It’s probably the pitch of his voice on the plea that catches his boyfriend’s attention. The bedroom door opens, and Quinn stands as Emory comes over, leaning to see Lux, pissed off but keeping himself quiet, calm.

“Get out,” He hisses, dark eyes burning with contempt. Quinn raises their hands in surrender and stands to leave.

“Thank you, Lux. I know this was difficult. I learned a lot, it’ll make a difference.” It’s clear that they’ve overstayed their welcome. Lux is nodding at the floor, tears falling numbly from his eyes, and Emory is standing guard with a look like he’d like to punch Quinn in the jaw.

It’s not nearly enough, but it’ll have to do.

Later that night, they think about everything Lux said, and how he said it. They think about screaming. Sobbing. Their cheek being cupped as they gasp for thin, stinging breaths that the Hunter will allow with a grin and warm praise.

They think about it until they feel sick, and then even longer until they feel resigned. They imagine shuddering, sobbing, whining like he likes.

They try a whine, right now, to see how it sounds. In the dark of their room, it sounds odd. Apparently, to the Hunter, it will sound beautiful.

Lux said the Hunter goes too far. Gets angry, and Lux says the anger is frightening, too. Quinn wonders if they’ll be flinchy like Lux after they get out. If they’ll shake. They’ll try to avoid that, but it’s a reasonable price for the knowledge they’ll escape with.

It’s worth losing who they are, now, to make sure no one’s ever hurt like Javi was, ever again.

1. do you make your bed? yeah no. im gonna get back in it in later that day what is the point??

2. what’s your favorite number? 18

3. what’s your job? i go to school lol and i babysit on the weekends

4. can you parallel park? i can!! and im really freaking proud of it. but also the parking on my college campus suuucks and you gotta learn to parallel park quick around here

5. a job you had which would surprise people? mmm probably nothing bc i haven’t had many jobs and they’re all very ryan like jobs

6. do you think aliens are real? i dont know. i dont think about it too hard but if there are theyre definitely not the little green things we’re imaging

7. can you drive a manual car? is that a stick shift? if yes, heck no.

8. what’s your guilty pleasure? i own up to almost everything i do but i will say i dont tell people in my day to day life that i read fanfic. i dont think i should feel guilty about it per se, but other people just dont get it.

9. tattoos? no. i dont like needles. i have 2 piercings (on each ear, not 2 total) and i was a baby for each one

10. favorite color? to wear, black. in life, red

11. things people do that drive you crazy? shoving. shoving is my #1 pet peeve and i dont know if it can even be considered a pet peeve bc it makes me so mad i feel myself losing my sanity whenever someone shoves me. i also dont like slow walkers or slow drivers. or people who are rude to other people doing their job

12. any phobias? i have a pretty big bug phobia BECAUSE when i was little, if there was a bug in the house my dad would pretend to pick it up and then throw it at me. sometimes he would literally throw something (like string or the paper towel he was using) and so i’d really think it was the bug. he claims this did not give me a phobia, but i really do get scared that somehow the bug will end up on me. so thanks dad.

13. favorite childhood sport? i tried literally every sport and i was good at none of them lol. i rode horses for most of my childhood and i was pretty good at that. i dabbled in dance and came back to it in high school and i also ran cross country in high school

14. do you talk to yourself? all the time

15. what movies do you adore? im a huge movie girl so pretty much any movie i watch i adore. big marvel fan. big chick flic/teen love fan atm too

16. do you like puzzles? no. the rest of my family does and i think its so boring to sit there for hours and get ONE MATCHING PIECE. i would always rather watch a movie or a tv show

17. favorite kind of music? my music taste knows no bounds. country, christian, pop, rap, etc. right now im probably on a pop kick and a ‘just got my heart broken for the first time and now all these sad love songs make sense so im gonna listen to them on repeat and cry’ kick. woo.

There it was again, the sound of a flute Baelfire had only heard in his dreams. The sound was beautiful, as sweet as his Mother’s voice. It was calling to him, beckoning him to come to it, as if it was leading him home. To freedom…

… Freedom. Ever since his Papa had become the Dark One and his Mama had died, Baelfire didn’t know the meaning of the word. Trapped inside the four walls of his home, Baelfire could only imagine what it was like beyond that. He no longer had friends, it had been who knows how long since he’d seen sunlight since he snuck out of the house at night for brief visits to Morraine when his Papa was asleep. He’d give anything to be free instead of being his Papa’s prisoner.

He had heard the song of the panflute before but his Papa had told him to ignore it and that he was just hearing things. This time, his Papa was asleep and Baelfire’s heart told him that if he wanted freedom for himself he’d have to follow the sweet sound of the panflute to wherever it was going to lead him. That was exactly what he did. Quietly, he crept from his bed through their living room. He grabbed his fur coat, laced up his boots, then looked back at his father. With a look of sadness at the man sleeping not too far from, he disappeared into the night toward, what he hoped, would be the start of his new beginning.

Baelfire followed the noise wherever he heard it call him, around buildings, through trees. As he drew nearer the sound grew louder. The louder it grew the warmer the feelings that it brought him became. This was the feeling his home used to give him while his mother was alive, and before his Papa had become the Dark One. It was as warm as the fire that Baelfire came upon when he finally found the source of the song he had heard. For there, standing in the glow of the fire was a boy who was taller than he, but just as lean in figure. Baby brown hues flickered with curiosity as Bae watched the figure draw near. He didn’t know who they were, but they seemed familiar…As if he was welcoming Baelfire home again after a long day.

“It’s good to see you, laddie. I’ve been expecting you, Baelfire.”

“You’ve been expecting me …?” Baelfire questioned, scrunching his nose a little, “And-…And how do you know my name?”

“I know the names of all the lonely souls my flute draws in, laddie.” the boy remarked. Baelfire’s eyes softened as they fell to the ground. In those soft, baby brown hues flickered the truth that the other knew all too well – the truth that Baelfire was lonely and abandoned, despite living at home with his Papa. Despite trying to do everything to keep his son happy, Baelfire was lonely and trapped and felt abandoned, not only by his mother but by his father as well. “I’m peter. peter pan.” Peter smiled kindly.

“I don’t-”

“Trust me?” Peter asked with a quirk of his brow. “Why not, Baelfire?”

Baelfire swallowed the lump in his throat. He had a long list of reasons why, most of them included that his Papa had drilled it into his head that anyone beyond the four walls of their home was dangerous and out to hurt him. Seeing the sadness in Bae’s eyes Peter simply scoffed. “Your papa told you so?”

The broken boy’s brown eyes shot up to meet the emerald green ones of the Boy King standing before him. “Yeah…He says anyone beyond our home is dangerous, that they want to hurt him. That’s why-”

“Why you don’t have any friends, Baelfire?” Slowly, Peter began circling Baelfire like a predator watching its prey. Bae’s gaze faded and all he could hear was the sound of Peter’s voice slithering in one ear and out the other. “My pipe attracts a very specific crowd, baelfire. only those who are lost can hear its tune…” The Piper stopped his paces directly in front of Bae who’s gaze instantly rose up again,

“…Are you lost, Baelfire?” Before he could have time to answer, Peter continued walking and Baelfire was left to stand in his own thoughts. The real question should have been, did Baelfire remember the last time he felt like his world made sense to him? The answer to that question was far longer than Bae could even date back to. Before his father banned him from going outside or having friends, before he made him promise to never talk to anyone without his permission or go outside… Before a lot of things.

“Do you see them, Bae?” Peter asked, gesturing to the boys dancing around the fire. Having fun. fun. Oh, how Baelfire longed to play again and experience what it was like to be carefree, for once. “Those boys are lost. abandoned. lonely. whatever words you choose are up to you. do you see how happy they are, baelfire? you could be happy too, just like them.”

“How?”

“Those boys come home with me every night to neverland. a place where you can be anything you want to be, play any game you wish to play, be free! you could do everything you ever wanted and more, Bae…” Peter stretched his hand out palm up to the boy as his smile from before returned, “… All you have to do is come with me.”

As much as Baelfire wanted to take that hand and go away to a place far from the Enchanted Forest, Baelfire could hear his Papa’s voice screaming in his ear that this was dangerous and that he shouldn’t go. He could feel it deep in his gut. Any moment now his Papa would come and tell him that he had to go home. “I-…I can’t…” the boy said, turning his back to the other as his sad eyes found the ground again. It felt like he was being torn to pieces. Freedom and happiness was just in his grasp and yet … He knew that the right thing wasn’t to go with the Piper. “…Papa would never allow it…”

Peter straightened his posture as his licked his bottom lip slowly in thought. “I see. your papa isn’t here, baelfire. he’s a coward who didn’t want to come with me when he had the chance… you’re here, bae, with the others that my pipe has summoned and if you’re so worried about this, how about a deal?”

How about a deal? The dreaded words he had heard time and time again from his Papa… Still, Bae had learned well enough how those words work and made the choice to turn back around and face Peter again. “A deal?”

“I’ll propose the same thing to him, if he comes…” Which, Peter knew he would. “… You stay and play with the others. have fun, enjoy yourself like we both know you want to do, laddie. he can ask you himself if you’d rather stay with me and go back to neverland, or, if you choose him and will go back home.”

“I-”

“You don’t have to tell me now, laddie. I’m not the one who needs to know the answer. that’s how you’ll know if he really trusts you and if he truly cares for you like he says he does.-” Baelfire stood there solemn as he let Peter’s words sink into his heart. All his Papa has to do is ask and that will prove everything… Just one question. That’s all it would take. “-for now…hold out your hand, Bae.” As instructed, the boy held his hand out. With a wave of his hand, Peter made a mask appear in Bae’s grip– one like the others were wearing. “… Go play, have fun. enjoy your time with the others like you have been wanting to for way too long.”

Baelfire stood there looking at the mask. His heart was telling him to give it back. If he had the choice to go home or stay with the Piper, Bae would make the choice to go home. Even if it wasn’t perfect, he knew that his Papa would be distraught if he lost him. He knew that he cared and that, though it wasn’t going according to plan, his Papa was trying. Regardless… The idea of playing carelessly for ages to come did sound appealing to him. He could have friends, see the world beyond the walls of his home. Be free. . . With a smile, Baelfire tied the mask around his bush of curls and ran toward the fire where the other lost ones were playing. Within moments, Bae was making friends and fitting in while Peter was back to playing his pipes once again.

Time passed rapidly as Baelfire played with the other boys. It felt like he had gotten his childhood back again. For the last almost seven years, Baelfire had been told that he couldn’t go outside, that he couldn’t make friends, that he couldn’t meet people or leave his home. For years he had longed to see the world and had only been allowed to draw about what he imagined it to be like since he was not allowed to look outside through the windows. All those years watching the others in his village playing games and having fun seemed like a distant memory while he played with his new friends.

“You can’t even recognize him can you, Rumple?”

“How can I when he’s wearing a mask?”

“Well he’s wearing a mask, but that’s not the reason-” Peter started, gesturing to Bae who was dancing amongst the others. “-Look at him, playing with the other boys, out in the world. he’s happy, rumple. that’s why you don’t recognize him.”

While Baelfire was playing amongst the boys, he felt a pair of hands grip him by the shoulders then his mask was pulled from his face. It was his Papa. As he stood there, out of breath Baelfire couldn’t believe what he was seeing. His Papa was here, he really had come. Bae couldn’t believe it.

“Bae? Baelfire, are you alright?”

“I’m fine. Why are you here?” Bae’s eyes searched his father’s equally brown ones as confusion filled his own.

“I know you think I don’t care about you, son,” Rumple pleaded, “But I do, and I’m here to prove it.”

Baelfire took a small step back from his Papa but kept his gaze locked on his father’s. “How?” He asked, almost unsure of if he wanted to hear the answer his Papa was about to give him.

“Go ahead, Rumple.” Peter said from behind the pair as he watched the discussion unfold in front of him. There was a moment of stillness as Rumple calculated his next move and Baelfire watched him make his choice. He knew what Peter was asking of him, he knew of the deal. Was his father going to go through with it?

“Papa, what are you doing?” The boy asked as his father moved him between him and Peter all too quick for Bae to make an escape away back over to Peter. He had desperately hoped that his Papa would do what Peter asked, but he should have known that Peter was right …

… His Papa was a coward.

“I’m protecting you.” Then in the same way that Pan had made the mask appear, Rumple made him and Baelfire disappear in a haze of smoke. This smoke brought Baelfire home and with this journey backward, let his freedom slip through the cracks.

“You’re gonna regret not taking my deal, Rumple!” Peter barked as the pair disappeared into the cloud of smoke away from his Lost Ones and back into their cottage.

my tags on this post:: #YES!!! #yes yes yes #okay #so#everytime someone mentions or even hints at dave having anger issues i wanna fucking cheer bc thats one of my biggest hcs for him#like yeah he’s sweet and gentle and respectful and all that - genuinely a good man - our lil jewish gay#BUT#he did grow up in the 50s and 60s which as op said would have surrounded him with a lot of toxic masculinity. now i dont think he would be#a toxic kind of masculine AT ALL but it definitely would have forced him to hide his emotions and feelings and idk hobbies and of course his#sexuality. and i say hobbies bc there isnt a canon answer for it i dont think but i personally hc dave as being someone who loves art#specifically: drawing. dave keeping a lil sketchbook and some pencils under the pillow on his cot in vietnam?? yes please#so anyway yeah - he wouldnt have really had any good examples of how to properly take care of your anger - although he has enough#heart and common sense to know its really fucking wrong to take it out on women and children and people one is dating WHICH - another hc i#have that ties into this is that somehow his dad found out that he’s gay and beat the crap out of him over it. because unfortunately thats a#thing that happens. so his main male example was an abusive pos. and then he goes to vietnam which is fine because its not like he has#anyone stateside that will miss him - that will talk to him anymore - and its a warzone so there are a lot of ways to work out your anger#and yeah that of course includes bar fights. and he does - usually - try and keep a hold on his anger until he’s away from anyone who might#feel threatened - and he doesnt wanna end up taking out an innocent on accident - but he’s not actually perfect and so sometimes he fails#and it happens around klaus one time and seeing his love’s reaction - the making himself smaller - trying to hide - going quiet and so#clearly afraid - and not just afraid but afraid OF HIM - freezes him to the core where he stands because nobody has ever reacted like that#before. or if they have he never noticed or cared because they didnt matter. but this is klaus. his klaus. who he loves and would never do#anything to hurt him. his klaus who he protects and defends and knows he wants to spend his life with - no matter how impossible it is#he wants to go to klaus and apologize - try to undo the damage done simply by him raising his voice and lashing out - but he doesnt know#what to say or how to say it - he doesnt know what to do with the situation honestly. so he leaves the tent and goes to take his renewed#anger and frustration out on whatever he can find so he can calm down and hopefully get into the right headspace to have whats#no doubt going to be a really hard conversation with his boyfriend. because where do you even start??#but of course they talk it out and dave promises to work on his anger and on how he lets it out and yknow.. its dave so klaus trusts him and#it takes some time - there are some incidents - but dave works hard and learns a lot from klaus - including how to unlearn a lot of shit he#grew up with - and its rough but having a partner from the future who breaks all kinds of barriers definitely helps#so y eah. those are my brief feelings on it and i wanna marry op
