Rating DHMIS Ships❤️😍
Tumblr media
Duck x Red Guy:
10/10
I LOVE seeing these two interact, they remind me of a married couple sometimes lol. Yeah I’m very sure this is already canon XD
Tony x Paige:
4/10
I see why they’d be shipped together, but they don’t quite fit to me…☹️
Tony x Colin:
10/10
Two narcissistic, loud teachers. I feel like they’d match each other’s energy. Heck, they’d be the only ones to understand/tolerate each other 😌 Not to mention Tony said computers are cool 🤭
Yellow guy x Claire:
10/10
I’m putting this up as a 10 because I liked the few interactions we got from them. She was one of the only characters in the series to be nice to Yellow Guy. It’s also because they literally get MARRIED and have a CHILD by the end of the Jobs episode, soooo pretty sure it’s canon 👀
Larry x Shrignold:
7/10
Hmm…I can see Shrignold being absolutely irritated with the drunk lamp, but I can also see him being like “this is MY idiot and I love him”😤
Shrignold x Warren:
10/10
Two teachers with toxic traits that teach about relationships. One who is lonely and has tried to harass people into being his friend. One who is trying to get lonely people into his love cult. I see this working out perfectly. Not to mention they’re the only anthro teachers we have. I think.
Briefcase x Finn (Coffin):
9/10
YES. JUST YES. The briefcase gives off vibes that he’s always doing SOMEthing and he’s always moving. Finn seems a bit more laid back. I wish we got more screen time of them both so I could get a better visual 😞 BUT NONETHELESS I like what I’ve got so far!
Steak x Fridge:
3/10
I might just be missing something here, but the only reason I see these two being shipped in the first place is that they appear in the same episode in the same song ☹️
AAAANNDD that’s all that I can think of at the top of my head!! 😃

hate to be a hater on the main … but this season of ted lasso excels (once again) at team dynamic and the found family elements and i think the finale absolutely nailed that, i cried, i laughed, it was perfect on that. now as for the individual stories and relationships… yeah, let’s leave it at that
#(rant below ignore me)#i think making longer episodes allowed them to add stories that felt so pointless to me#what was the point of zava? to make jamie understand something about himself? could have done that better with just the roy plot#i would have understood roy and keeley breaking up of it was like ‘let’s both grow as individuals’#and roy kinda did but apparently not enough because his plot at the end is how he do better so i guess he didn’t#jamie had the best development only to then lose part of it by throwing the random video comment?? like why??#keeley my love … from the random friend that added nothing to the story to an undervelopped love interest plot line … they did u so dirty#why the hell was ted so emotionally off this last episode instead of actually talking the time to proper end things with london and everyone#rebecca was SOBBING and ted was like ‘well gotta go’ ??#it’s not about the ship or anything but what ?? and rebecca … love that she stayed with the club#but to have her end up with some random creepy man she met once and whose name WE DONT EVEN KNOW#i have no issues with ted going home to his son. it makes perfect sense. but it felt so weird#the nate plot was wrapped kinda poorly too??#sam colin and most of the guys from the team were amazing#and the found family and team dynamic was still amazing as always#the beard and jane relationship was always weird to me because it feels like joke after joke of.. abuse?#do they get married or was it a dream?? and if so was the whole sequence a dream? and if it wasn’t WHO DID THE CGI FOR THE WEDDING 💀#we spent more time with these characters this season and it doesn’t feel that way and idk this season felt weird at so many points#I LOVE THIS SHOW I DO!! first 2 seasons are one of my all time favourite seasons of a sitcom!! and i still enjoyed a lot about s3 <33#anyway sorry to be a hater on the main but it was just a weird season to end it on#anti ted lasso#<- i really don’t wanna upset anyone i just felt like ranting a little 💀 pls don’t hate me#ted lasso spoilers

I can’t shut up about Polin, but I don’t think I can overstate how important it is to me that they took away the 12 year gap between books 3 and 4.
Colin being only 22, which even by the rules of established canon - is young for a man to be married, is a little detail that is so important to me. He’s literally just a socially adept nerd who rather be talking about geography, or writing, or cracking his little dad jokes with his family. He simply realized he was in love with his best friend and was like “yup, no need to wait around I’ll just ask Pen to marry me.” and that realization made him conscious of the fact that he doesn’t have to give a fuck about what society expects of him.
Penelope being my age, (20) and just getting to be married, happy, fulfilled and realized, while still retaining her youthful optimism is a great subversion of the “shy girl who went unnoticed until now” trope. She doesn’t have to wait around for another decade to gain her personal and professional agency, or to escape an emotionally abusive household, and that is such a beautiful thing to see.
It’s one little change that made such a HUGE difference in how their ship dynamic works, and I for one, love it.

My thoughts on these last two episodes:
Though things seems to have gone back to what they were, I believe they are also completely different at the same time.
Because although being a vampire was Guillermo’s dream, I think in the years he’s spent with the vampires, the main reason he wanted to be turned was so he could be considered a valued part of the team
He wanted the vampires to see him like family, to care about him the way he does for them.
And that’s come true, all the vampires care and love and worry for Guillermo now.
They all demonstrated this in their own different ways this season:
from Laszlo actively trying to help Guillermo, showing up at his motel to apologize for not being as helpful (which was actually very sweet of him) to that final scene with Derek
to Nadja taking Guillermo to the vet and protecting him from being harmed
To Colin stopping by the motel to give Guillermo a farewell gift.
They all were worried about him. They all didn’t want him to get killed, that’s why they kept his secret despite knowing how hurt and upset Nandor would be. It’s such a three sixty from the beginning of the series. The found family vibes really made me want to cry in the best way.
(But since I am a huge nandermo shipper I saved my Nandor points for last because I’m gonna dive in DEEP)
I knew that we wouldn’t get a love confession this season, I believe that Guillermo will either be turned into a vampire in a last ditch effort to save his life (hopefully by Nandor)
Or he’ll eventually change his mind and ask Nandor again to be turned and I think if he were to ask again (after everything that’s happened) I think Nandor would do it if he believed Guillermo was sure.
Guillermo did mention to Nandor at the fake ceremony that he really still wanted to be a vampire. (So who knows I wanna keep hope alive)
But overall, I loved this season.
We got a rare peak behind the curtain at Nandor.
He not only deeply cares for Guillermo and can’t imagine losing him but he also knew all along that Guillermo was not ready to be a vampire.
(Remember that scene in s3 where Nandor tells Guillermo that vampirism is a curse? And that he cared too much about him to do that to him?)
The fact that Nandor memorized Guillermo’s letter to him when they first met just speaks volumes about how much he actually loves Guillermo.
Nandor has grown so much this season, it was so refreshing to see. I mean all those self help books really paid off. Cause, not only did he set his own hurt feelings aside and forgave Guillermo despite how important loyalty and honor are to him but
he also didn’t act impulsively when it came to Guillermo transitioning. He let Guillermo experience vampirism and observed his reactions and emotions before stepping in.
(I hope we continue to see more character growth like this and that hopefully in s6 we finally get some romantic plot for these two because fuck I’m in too deep to quit this show/ ship lol)

why don't you like jayjon? Genuinely asking btw and I'm neutral btw I don't really ship superheroes kids, so yeah
Alright, firstly I have always come across damijon shippers that ship them as kids because their purest connection peaked when they were young so you kind of permanently keep Jon and Damian as kid in your head because of what DC did to them.
We ship them in a ‘wholesome crush on your best friend, twisting inside you over time that you snub out till you reach your adulthood and have the maturity to deal with it’ type of way. The beauty of Damijon is not the fact that it’s Bat x Super. I honestly don’t care for this dynamic ergo not shipping superbat and not liking Timkon at all. The beauty of Damijon is that they could become something with a friendship to back it up, then continue to push each other’s characters forward while being in a relationship if the writer cared enough. It’s a plus that they care for each other so much and have the personalities to really balance each other out.
I enjoy ships like Daminika, Dami x Colin and other Jon ships as well. I just only post damijon and talk about them. It’s only Jonj*y I have issues with. It’s not about ‘getting in the way of my ship’ nothing can ever get in the way of me enjoying damijon and fandom is just gonna have to deal with that. We all come here for enjoyment because we should supposedly enjoy DC for DC and find community in that, enjoy our ideas and takes on it and one person is not going to perceive or enjoy something the same way but we are so damn MEAN to each other. Damijon gets a lot of heat, mostly because twitter damijon stans are annoying and horrible and damijon antis are just as bad.
So the problem I have with Jonj*y is just deep rooted.
Firstly, I hate the way it came about. The last thing Jon’s character needed was to be in a relationship period but then for it to be a queer relationship used as a tool to garner sales? There’s nothing in the world I dislike more than queer baiting. The last thing we needed from DC was to pull something like this and as a queer person it just really gets under my skin - as it should anyone, to be honest.
Even regardless of that Jonj*y is the relationship equivalent of stale bread. They have no chemistry, Jay has no character besides catoring to Jon’s sexuality, and even if they were to explore him there’s no point because objectively they’ve tarnished Jon Kent way too much to be wasting comic ink on Jay.
I don’t like aged up Jon Kent as a whole, it’s not like I want him to stay a kid forever - obviously not. The fun of a comic book character is their growth! Jon over time should have never been able to get to the age he is now when other comic book characters struggle to get near that age in decades. I MEAN HE’S NEARLY OLDER THAN KON RIGHT NOW. Bendis did what he did to Jon because he ain’t even like him.
There are real serious issues with Jon Kent’s age up than him getting with Damian. I know how to seperate my ship/fanon from canon. I can go on and on about the problems with it without mentioning Damian once.
I had to put “JonJ*y apologist DNI” in my bio because the stans kept coming to my page and spewing BS 24/7 so I thought it was my absolute right to make sure they knew this page was not for them.
If you enjoy the ship at all then you will not like me because I have almost every single active Jonj*y poster blocked because I have fought with them at least once because they wanted to be stupid and spew nonsense on Jon Kent when you can tell they haven’t read a damn comic besides SSOKE and it really shows.
If you enjoy it, just block me. It’s only a matter of time before we fight anyway, so don’t waste your breath because the whole time you could be trying to open your mouth, you could open a comic book instead, how about that?
Thanks for the asks though, LOL.

Related to my prev post:
I don't give two shits if Bruce is written like a bad dad if it means we get good writing for everybody else since i think minorities are more important than a white cishet male nepotism baby unlike his butch lesbian counterpart who's judaism is an actual fundamental part of her character and since he's been written as abusive so consistently over the years it's in-character anyway
Dick can be both bi/pan and demisexual and there's more evidence for the latter than the former so making him be sexually loose is aspec erasure and mspec stereotyping and he dosen't have a thing for redheads,he has a thing for black women and to me the only guy he seems to like romantically is Roy and that adds on to his demisexuality since they're childhood best friends
'Catholic guilt Jason' is a shit headcanon that misses the major and critical part of him being Red Hood that he didn't feel the slightest bit bad about killing people and the point of his redemption was learning remorse, afrolatino Jason isn't based on stereotyping but him filling out so many black and latino cultural aspects and if any hcs for him are stereotyping it's the one that he's a slut because he's a very handsome and hot and cute goth punk man
Tim is perfect the way he is and dosen't need power ups or to get 'punished' for the oh so horrible crime of being a realistic teenage boy,he's not JUST huge a loser or a super cool dude but both at once and it's bad writing and fetishistic to ignore his wide range of relathionships that consists of mostly of women to make him a 'guys guy'
Stephanie is heavily autistic and bpd-coded so she's far from a 'normie',much less an 'it girl' but people see blonde hair and blue eyes and throw away everything else about her because that's all she's worth to them or call her an abuser and a pick me just like they do irl bpdtistic women and she's also canonically pastel/indie punk and a Team Mom but gets her presentation switched to basic and made out to be a womanchild instead
Cass had a million times more moral conflict than Jason ever did, would never in her LIFE wanna be feminine even in the chinese way and would be butch in it instead, turning her scattered speech into sign language is ableist not unlike(but not on the same level as)changing Babs' type of wheelchair disability and she'd be a better Batman than any male character in existense
Duke is only a golden child in the sense he has a yellow motif and is as disruptive and authentically quirky as his siblings,We Are Robin is a better team than the canon Outlaws, his powers are cooler than any Al-Ghul ones you could come up with,he has more femme energy than Tim does and Carrie Kelley ain't shit and only gets brought back to replace him because DC is antiblack
Damian's introduction mentality was a result of not only child abuse but also psychological grooming to get him to dehumanize himself and all his bigoted comments are explained either by him being like 12 or his writers trying to demonize brown people and anybody who thinks he's a bad person is a super-sized pissbaby with no sympathy for kids of color, shipping him with Jon is making a bisexual man into a ped0phile and Jay is good even if aging Jon up wasn't and he should be friends with Maya,Suren,Nell,Colin,Kathy,Maps,Tai and Miles,Gwen,Peni,Pavitr,Hobie and Margo from Atsv and Nico and Hazel from Pjo instead of Billy Batson or Danny Fenton or ANY Mcu characters
Talia is super hot but should be drawn in accurate arab clothes instead 'sexy assasian gear'(not that these two can't co-exist but you get what i mean),her personality is extremely rich and her stories are mega interesting, she's a good mom to Damian and literally never 'took advantage of Jason' seeing as That Scene In Lost Days was decanonized by it's writer who said it was ooc for her on his part, she should've been a mom figure to Stephanie in her Robin Days too since they would get along and she deserved her own run where she takes over Lexcorp to transform it into a force for good and become Superfam-adjacent to free herself from having only male connections

Whenever i see the unhinged Kanthony fans (not to be confused with the sane ones) talk about "it's PR, Nicola and Luke are doing PR and i hate them for it", i actually have a good laugh. What in the actual damaged drugs are these people on? Actors are doing PR? No shite Sherlock. It's PR, it's glorious PR because they are actual good friends and have insane good chemistry. And it's working like a charm. So many people that have not seen the other seasons are tuning in, praising them and commenting on their chemistry and good personalities. And the big majority who has seen it are just as excited, if not more. And they are actually putting book things on the episodes...opss.... The best one is that they live in a bubble and they actually think Polin is not a popular ship. Creatures, check the fangroups and the sizes of it, the numbers on their videos, trailers, interviews, how much they attract on their videos even with no series out yet that focus on them. And most of all the audience. I honestly think these teens who live on twitter don't talk much with other women outside their own timeline. People have been rooting and hoping for Penelope to have her happy ending with Colin. But if you do have to cry about it, do me a favor: Take pictures and send it to me. It warms my heart.

Everywhere I see, there's always a ship pairing battle between Kataang vs Zutara vs Zukka. But what I have seen so far in both Tumblr and Twitter (or X 😒):
Kataang (Katara/Aang) shippers are the worst bullies you would ever see. With their childish excuses and constant harassment. There's even worse things from them that could be triggering for some people. I understand it's canon (I know man, it's everywhere 🙄), but don't boast it. On this day and age, the tropes for Kataang would be unacceptable, for example, lack of consent or lack of meaningful conversations between two people (both from Aang, sorry kid). In contrast, I like their artworks; it's fun and cheerful. In the past, I had seen Kataang shippers who were neutral to other ships, but that's rare these days.
Zutara (Katara/Zuko) shippers are humble or passionate (depends on the person), supportive and have the best resilience than all the ships. I've seen some people writing University-style essays about why Zutara is better, with actual evidence and quotes from the show, that would make literature professors proud. Also, I love witnessing how they defend or provide comfort whenever someone is bullied or harassed. Additionally, they create beautiful artworks. Unfortunately, I hear a few Zutara shippers bullying others, but I've not witnessed it so far. I would be disappointed and angry if I do see it.
Zukka (Sokka/Zuko) shippers are chill. I love their quiet emergence and possibly overtaking both ships, like a renaissance. They don't argue or bully, rather just stand back as wallflowers; I would like to be with them in that situation as well. Besides, Zukka is Zutara, but with more man-to-man tropes. I like their artworks - it's comedic like a rom-com style and it does make me chuckle - and their neutrality to anything. Fortunately no homophobic comments from other ships against them, but I'll be very pissed if someone would do that.
[I acknowledge there's also Taang (Toph/Aang), Sukka (Suki/Sokka) and Jinko (Jin/Zuko), but I always see positive contributions to all of them, with no negativity. So I don't mention them. There's also Maiko (Mai/Zuko)... but that's another story to tell.]
But come on, let people enjoy their favourite ships or even just the show! I'm not against any ship pairing as everyone has their own favourite thing and all of us are unique. I've seen way worse in Bridgerton shipping wars between Kanthony (Kate/Anthony) and Polin (Penelope/Colin) on Twitter, but I like both ships!

listen I don't ship them but. if you're going to ship colin and deli. why not make it the most fucked up possible toxic dynamic for fun. this isn't grounds for anything fluffy this is grounds for a relationship between, I Am Obsessed With You And Me Being Together But I Am The Leader And You Are The Advisor And React BADLY To Being Questioned, and I Was Paid By Your Mother To Protect You And Rely On You To Keep Me From Being MELTED In Public If Anyone Finds Out Who I Really Am vibes
like you could really LEAN IN and make it interesting if u pick up what they're actually putting down. Deli thinks they're best friends chosen by destiny while Colin is EXTREMELY aware of the power differential between them and how tenuously he stays in Deli's good graces. complicating that with a ROMANCE angle?? With a PHYSICAL INTIMACY angle?? that's where the insane meat in this sandwich is

Love is an Unfamiliar Name (Pt. 8)
Tumblr media
Wordcount: 2,5 k
Pairing: Pedro Pascal x f!reader
Warnings: angst, just curse words as usual.
A/N: Our reader decides do give a payback, but things won’t go as planned and a little drama takes in, both making mistakes which is quite sad tbh.
And in this chapter, we have Colin Farrell as a reader’s friend. Why? Because i think Colin would be a great friend to have around haha. Have you ever watched his Hot Ones interview or his most recent ones from the Sugar press? If you haven't, just check it out.
> MASTERLIST
————-
The Irishman
On Friday night, you were on your way to Vivienne's penthouse for the show's after-party. Jenny was unusually excited, but you felt a sense of unease, haunted by guilt at the thought of meeting Pedro, especially since you hadn't spoken since his apologetic phone call. He had even texted you in the morning, suggesting a coffee meet-up, but you chose to ignore it, opting instead to scroll through Instagram reels while lying on your bed. As you chuckled to yourself in the car, watching the city lights pass by, you couldn't help but feel a bit childish in your avoidance.
"Why are you laughing?" Jenny inquired, focused on fixing her makeup. She looked stunning for the party, taking it quite seriously.
"Just thinking about how sometimes we just become exactly what we hate," you replied, a hint of seriousness in your tone.
"Wow, that was deep," she said, sensing your subdued mood. "You know, if things go south, at least Colin will be there to have your back," she added with a mischievous grin.
"I KNEW IT!" you exclaimed, understanding why she was giving her best this night. "There had to be a reason behind all of this," you teased, pointing at her.
"Stop being silly," she blushed, even in the dimly lit car.
"Poor Jeff," you chuckled.
"He's now dating Annette from the makeup department," she shared, not caring much. "Great in bed, but not the sharpest tool in the shed... attractive, but better off not speaking," she lamented while fixing her hair. "How do I look?"
"Stunning as always," you complimented her. "By the way, Colin's single again," you mentioned casually.
"Oh, really?" she feigned surprise. "I could never know," she teased back.
You just laughed and continued, “Things with Jill weren’t working anymore; I still don’t understand what he saw in her; gosh, she was so boring.” You always shipped Colin and Jenny.
"Well, she must have been good at something, if you get me,” she laughed. "By the way, don't tell me you chose that backless dress just because you felt like it," she said
"I felt like I should," you replied as the car pulled up to your destination. You could only think of how much that place should cost.
As you arrived, you caught sight of Colin engrossed in conversation with Vivienne. He exuded charm, and you felt Jenny's cold hand grasping yours at your back. You waved to Colin, who signaled for you to join them.
"Hey man," you greeted him with a hug, "it's been a while." You both had met years ago while working on an independent movie project, and you had formed a strong friendship, feeling comfortable and open around him.
"Hey mate, how are you doing?" Colin embraced you, then turned to acknowledge Jennifer. She seemed frozen. Jennifer, the queen of hookups, was caught off guard.
"Hello," she managed to say, her voice a bit shaky. You stood behind Colin, silently prompting her to ask how he was doing. "How are you?"
"Much better now," he replied, his gaze lingering on her as she blushed, causing you to stifle a laugh.
"Good to hear," she said, clumsily adjusting her hair. "Well, I'll go talk to Vivienne and get something to eat; do you guys want anything?"
"I'm good," you and Colin chimed in simultaneously.
Jenny hurriedly departed, resembling a rabbit fleeing from a wolf. You and Colin continued chatting about his breakup, and you shared details about your situation with Pedro. He chuckled at how you would blush at times. Both of you were in fits of laughter when you felt a familiar hand gently touch your back.
"Hi, Pedro," you greeted him, turning to acknowledge his presence.
"Hi," he responded, his eyes fixed on Colin. "How are you?" He then looked at you.
"Doing fine," you replied more politely than usual, noticing his troubled expression you decided to keep the diplomacy. "Let me introduce you guys." Facing Pedro, you gestured towards Colin. "Pedro, this is my friend Colin."
"Hi mate," Colin greeted him, shaking hands with a smile, and Pedro gave him the fakest smile back.
"And Colin, this is Pedro, who is also a friend." You emphasized the word 'friend' with a hint of cruelty. You poured yourself a shot of whiskey, feeling guilty about drinking alcohol around Colin but wanting Pedro to sense the same pain you were feeling.
"Cool, I didn't know you would meet another friend here." Pedro's words carried a sharp edge.
"And I didn't know I had to tell you," you retorted almost immediately.
"Well, I'm talking to her because she is my bridge to Jennifer, man," Colin interjected, pointing at Jenny, sensing the tension rising. He could almost smell the impending confrontation between you and Pedro. Your eyes locked with Pedro's, and he turned to face Colin.
"Is there a problem?" Colin, not known for his patience, inquired.
"We're good, man," Pedro replied. "I guess I'm just interrupting your friendly gathering," his tone tinged with irony.
"Can we just talk later?" You asked, holding his hands, which were shaking, aware of the turmoil simmering within him. Part of you felt a tinge of satisfaction in it.
"Yes, as we should," he agreed.
"Pedro!" Oscar's voice called out to him from across the rooftop.
"Well, I should go," Pedro said as he left.
Turning back to Colin, who was now sipping his sparkling water, he said, "If this guy could just stab me now, he would." Colin said, looking over his shoulder. "What the hell did I miss?"
You shared with him the details of your last time with Pedro, how he had been mean to you, and how he attempted an apology.
"Kid," Colin chuckled, "the guy was just playing it cool, like 'I don't do relationships' kind of stuff."
"He said we're just friends with benefits," you stated angrily. "Friends, Colin, friends."
"Come on, dude's burning with jealousy right now,” he said, looking at Pedro talking to Oscar. “—and you, Mrs., now I understand the emphasis you placed on 'friend' when introducing him. Seriously? How old are you?" Colin's defense of Pedro caught you off guard.
"What?" you exclaimed.
"I'm not stupid; I could see that—and it is obvious you did it on purpose. I'm not a pawn, okay?" Colin said.
"Colin, imagine if Jill had just slept with you, and she tells you it's better not to act like a couple or anything because you're just friends." You vented your frustration. "And to top it off, she says the only thing she misses is your body!"
"Come on, you were both drunk," he pointed out. "Listen to me, both of you."
"Seriously? Come on! Why don't you adopt him then? Poor little Pedro, a grown ass man who can’t answer for his actions," you snapped in anger.
"I already have two children… and that doesn't change the fact that you also made a mistake," he said firmly.
"Oh great, he treats me like a whore, and you just brush it off, saying he was drunk. Now I'm the one labeled as vilain for making him taste his own venom," you said, frustration evident in your voice.
Colin chuckled, shaking his head. "Kid, both of you were drunk when that happened.” He then continued. “Dude called to apologize and asked you for a coffee today — Who the fuck does that with just a fuck buddy? Coffee? On a Friday morning? Wake the fuck up," he urged. "I've lost count of how many times I've done the same thing he did. Pretending to be just friends when I really wanted more."
You listened, feeling a mix of anger and sadness. "And why the hell do guys do this? It hurts, man," you muttered.
"Because everyone’s fucked up and scared, just like you are, just like he is.” He kept talking. “You like him; he likes you too. Why not just try to have a conversation about it with him?" Colin advised, sounding like an older brother.
“You even talk like Jen." You wiped away a tear, nodding. "You and her would make a great couple, you know?"
"Go talk to your guy; I'll find Jennifer and test my luck, deal?"
"Deal!" you chuckled, scanning the crowd for Pedro. Spotting Jenny, you pointed her out to Colin. However, Pedro was nowhere to be found. Then, you glimpsed a figure leaving the bar with two cups—it seemed to be him. Hurrying, you attempted to catch up as he disappeared into a secluded spot on the deck.
Brushing off a greeting, you dashed after him, rounding the corner and calling out, "Hey, Pedro—" only to freeze in disbelief as you saw him making out with one of the models.
Pain.
He looked terrified, clearly not expecting you to show up out of nowhere. Your hands were cold as the world seemed to be in slow motion—his touch, his gaze, his smile, just how he held you. Tears blurred your vision as you stood frozen.
"Hey girl, are you okay?" The woman in his arms asked, concerned. You were mad, but you knew it wasn't her fault. It was his; it was yours.
"Ye—yes," you choked out, struggling to form words. "I'm… I'm just…— I guess…." Tears overcame you. Pedro muttered something incomprehensible as he released the girl and approached you. Anger, guilt, and sadness flooded through you, making you feel utterly foolish.
"I got it man," you said, stepping back, your voice trembling with anger. "Let's just keep things as they are, right? Like they fucking are! It's working out great for you, fucker."
"Oh! You're the one with your Irish friend over there," he retorted, his anger matching yours.
"Because Colin is my friend, Pedro. He's just a goddamn friend," you shot back, your voice rising. "He was the one trying to convince me you were just scared of whatever shit we have going on and that I was being a bitch.” You were now shouting and walking in his direction; you were lucky the music was too loud. “Turns out, he was wrong." Pedro stood frozen, the girl by the wall looking confused.
"I didn't know you both had something," she interjected, trying to calm you down.
"I’m not talking to you!” You now faced her: “I don't give a fuck if you knew or not. HE is the problem here," you declared, pointing at him, your frustration boiling over.
“Babe…”
"Don't you dare call me that!" you shouted as he reached out to you. "You know what? Go ahead, screw whoever you want. I'm done. I'm so fucking done." Tears streamed down your face as he attempted to apologize. "Fuck you! Tonight was supposed to be a great night," you lamented, feeling foolish and angry. "This whole thing—us—it is just a waste of time."
"I’m sorry—I want things to work," he muttered.
"Oh, I can see that," you laughed bitterly. "It works for YOU.” You were now pointing your finger at his face as you spilled all the anger. “You have me or anything whenever you want. We only meet when YOU can meet me.” The tears stopped, and you could feel your face burning. “You never care about MY schedule, NEVER! Everything is about you! You’re so fucking selfish man!”
“You agreed to the schedules! Wanna know why? Because you’re such a control freak! That’s why! —Seeing each other in the middle of the night? It was YOUR idea. Don’t play the innocent girl now,” he shot back angrily. “Who told me, ‘Let’s keep this between us’? Stop being a fuckin hypocrite and act like we were something else, and I betrayed you!” he added, his desperation evident. “You were the one who decided I was your dirty little secret! You cut the cards!”
"Secret?" you yelled back. "Have you ever put yourself in my position? I'm a woman working in a male-dominated industry. Do you know how it is to have people saying you got a job probably because you slept with someone? To have your competence questioned, despite your achievements? To have people assume there's a man pulling the strings behind the scenes? Have you ever had to deal with those things in your life Pedro? HAVE YOU? I don’t think so!"
"You love jumping to conclusions about others without even attempting to have a conversation!"
“Are you sure I’m the one who jumps to conclusions?” You laughed ironically. “Come on, don’t act like you care, man! You said it yourself! You only like the body and the sex, and honestly? You can have this with someone else.” Listening to these words come out of your mouth made you feel even worse. “I am not a sex doll... Maybe we expect different things from each other,” you said coldly as your eyes began tearing up again.
You continued, “I really wanted to be by your side tonight without feeling any guilty, but you found something better to do, and that is okay, I don’t think you betrayed me. I’m just disappointed. Part of me still had some hope that things could be more than whatever I had these last months… At least someday in a near future, you know? But as I said, we want different things, and now I can understand it.”
"I didn’t mean like this. I really thought that you were—oh, damn.” In a moment of clarity, he realized his mistake. “Fuck! I… I… —I ‘m Sorry for messing this up. I really thought you and him... Fuck… I truly…I don't know—" he tried to say.
“I’ll tell you what to do: Have your fun, man. Enjoy your freedom, that’s all that matters to you at the end of the day,” you said, tears streaming down your face.
“Please, I’m sorry…” He tried once again, his hands reaching out to hold yours.
“Go ahead and enjoy your night with whoever this girl is, or whoever you want to be the stallion with,” you said ironically as you watched the girl disappear. You then noticed Colin and Jennifer, relieved to have found you.
“There you are!” Colin exclaimed, though his expression quickly turned sympathetic as he saw your tear-streaked face.
“I’m leaving—Jen, can you keep me company while I wait for my Uber?" Bye, Col. It was nice to see you,” you said, avoiding eye contact as you spoke.
“Of course, come here,” Jennifer replied, offering you support.
Meanwhile, Pedro attempted to follow you but was intercepted by Colin, who advised him to give you some space before trying to talk to you again.
“What happened?” Jen asked as you waited for the cab together.
“He thought I was with Colin,” you said sadly, brushing away the tears. “So he decided to be with someone else too. According to him, I kept him hidden as some sort of secret—where is this darn car?” Your voice was numb with shock, and his words still echoed in your head.
“Oh, my dear,” Jenny tried to comfort you. “He was a jerk, but from what Colin told me, things were already messed up when he arrived.”
“Things were messed up from the beginning of everything, Jen. I don’t even know if I can call that a beginning, because it was… I don’t even know what it was,” you muttered. “I just want to sleep, okay?.”
“Okay, will you text me when you arrive?” she asked.
“I will,” you promised.

20 questions for fic writers
Tagged by @the-real-azalea-scroggs! Had to wait until I was of my phone because doing these is a nightmare on mobile lmao
1. How many works do you have on A03?
18 as of a few days ago!
2. What's your total A03 word count?
157,937! Which is. Only a fraction of the word count in my Docs folder. Be prepared.
3. What fandoms do you write for?
I mainly write for The Legend of Zelda; specifically Linked Universe! In fact, that's all that's posted on my Ao3 currently, since my fall into that fandom began with me uploading there! Pre-Ao3 I wrote for Black Cat (Anime/Manga), Megaman NT Warrior, various Pokémon things, Assassin's Creed, Yugioh, Final Fantasy XIV and Octopath Traveler! Some of these I still write privately, but I haven't gotten around to re-posting any.
4. What are your top five fics by kudos?
Whistling on Deaf Ears - My longest fic on Ao3, focusing on Wild and Twilight's friendship and how good intentions can lead to disaster.
Iconoclasm - Warriors deals with the room full of portraits in Cia's palace. The Chain also deals with it, but with a bit more fire.
Deserving - Twilight finally tells Rusl that he was the wolf in the village during TP, but that also means dealing with some heavier topics. Colin half overhears them and forms his own conclusions.
Something Greater - The start of the "Hyrule can see magical auras" series! In this one we deal with Legend and his many rings.
Ocean Magic - Mermaid Legend and Zora Time have a race and then fight one of the Big Octos from WW! Fun times.
5. Do you respond to comments? Why or why not?
Every single one!! I love comments, they give me an excuse to ramble about my fic more!! I am always down to ramble about every single insignificant detail of any line and/or section. If you ever want more background info about one of my fics, look to the comments!
So please, I adore comments, I treat them like treasures, not responding to them would be a CRIME.
6. What's the fic you wrote with the angstiest ending?
There's no contest; Inevitable, my (so far) only MCD fic.
7. What's the fic you wrote with the happiest ending?
Hmmm, that's hard to quantify. I usually try to end fics on a hopeful note regardless. I'd say possibly either Deserving, where Twilight reconnects with his family, or Shimmering Blue, Striking White, where Time meets the Fierce Deity settled down on Satori Mountain and they both get closure.
8. Do you get hate on fics?
Thankfully, no! I've been blessed with mostly amazing and patient readers, even when my upload schedule isn't the best.
9. Do you write smut?
No, not really. I've attempted it, but I'm too asexual for it lol
10. Do you write crossovers?
Very, very rarely. Mostly privately, and only very specific ones. Only a single one has had an actual plot, so far (more on that one in question 15!).
11. Have you ever had a fic stolen?
Nope!
12. Have you ever had a fic translated?
Also a nope! I tend to write for smaller fandoms, where these things don't tend to happen a lot!
13. Have you ever co-written a fic before?
I have! But it's been a while. Over a decade, in fact! I tried to find the fic to link it here, but it was on the German fanfic website fanfiktion.de, and my friend who posted it back then must have deactivated her account, because it's nowhere to be seen (I still have the Word file though!). It was a Multi-Crossover that started as an RP in a forum, and we took turns turning the RP into prose one chapter each. "If a Hero Turns to Dark" was its title. We were edgy teenagers.
14. What's your all-time favourite ship?
Hissssss. Bad question. Shoo. They are all equally important!!
But it's probably TenRose from Doctor Who.
15. What's the WIP you want to finish but doubt you ever will?
One of the very few crossovers I've ever worked on; a crossover fic between Assassin's Creed and Doctor Who, that I have mapped out in both chronological and timeline order, and yes, those are different. I only ever wrote about a quarter of it, since my primary audience of it disappeared when we graduated. I doubt I'll ever pick it back up properly, and if I do it'll probably go through heavy rewrites first since it's so old. Finishing it is a nice thought, but realistically, after 9 years it'll never be high priority enough for it to actually happen.
16. What are your writing strengths?
Dialogue, especially arguments, and emotional impact. I've been told I do really well making characters feel alive and believable! Also I like to believe I'm decent at setting a scene and giving it the vibe I want it to have!
17. What are your writing weaknesses?
I struggle with dialogue tags when nothing much is happening besides the talking. I always feel it's too bland, and fall back on the same phrases. My scene transitions could use some work too.
18. Thoughts on writing dialogue in another language for a fic?
I've done this with Japanese phrases, because I was a massive weeb. Usually I followed them up with their own translations, though; I'm not the biggest fan of footnote translations, unless they are properly linked to. Simple dialogue tags are my favourite way of indicating a language switch.
19. First fandom you wrote for?
Black Cat the Manga/Anime! It's a series about an assassin turned bounty hunter trying to live a life separate from his murdery past, but getting dragged back into things by still wanting to avenge his best friend's death. The series has a special place in my heart and my bookshelf, it left an imprint on 13-year-old me that will never leave.
20. Favourite fic you've ever written?
Probably Jailbreak, uncharacteristically enough! It's one of the only fics I never got stuck in once. Writing it was a great feeling from start to finish. I love writing all of my fics, but that was a special few days.
Tagging @ahrva @nowhere-to-go-but-down @silvercaptain24 and @aeghina! And anyone who wants to do it, really, go wild

1) SHIP: Penelope x Colin
13) LOCATION: the Modiste
36) SCANDAL: seen holding hands! BARE hands!
more Bridgerton-themed fic prompts
Wallflower After Hours
Pairing: Penelope x Colin Rating: M Word Count: 2270
Summary: Coincidence finds Penelope and Colin alone at the Modiste one evening, but it's with intention that they address feelings which may have intensified since their kiss.
“Hello, Pen,” Colin said, inclining his head in greeting as Penelope unlocked and opened the door of the shop for him. He stepped inside and smiled at her with evident confusion. “I did not think to see you here.”
She laughed nervously.
“No,” she agreed.
They stood together in the otherwise vacant front of the shop, Colin staring at her as though he would say something, but Penelope glanced towards the door he had just closed. She was wondering whether she ought to relock it. Before she could decide, Colin followed her gaze, emitted an understanding, “Ah,” and reached up to lock the door himself.
She grew even more nervous than before. Not to be alone with Colin (although the circumstances were affective—profoundly), but because Madame Delacroix had only just disappeared into the back of her shop. Everything with this latest edition of Lady Whistledown’s Society Papers had seemed to go wrong. Penelope had been forced to feign illness and slip away from her home in order to deliver her pages by hand, and now Genevieve had dashed out to call back the man hired to deliver them on to the printer, who had apparently left after turning up to the Modiste at the agreed-upon hour to find she had nothing for him.
But Penelope could certainly not tell Colin that.
“What brings you to the Modiste?” she inquired brightly. It was wiser to ask a question of him rather than wait for him to press her on her own reasons for being there, and alone at that.
“An unusual errand, is it not?” he said agreeably. “My mother was to send someone to collect a parcel, but I fancied the walk. I did not think it should cause too much speculation, seeing as everyone is at home for the supper hour.”
“Everyone but the two of us.”
“Quite.” He gave her the sort of look she adored on him, one that wordlessly declared them co-conspirators.
“It is kind of you to fetch Lady Bridgerton’s parcel. You are a good son.”
“And you are a good daughter.” He glanced about them. “I assume you were dispatched on a similar errand?”
Penelope readily grasped at this explanation.
“Yes, quite.”
Suddenly, Colin’s eyebrows drew together.
“It is odd that the door was locked. I believed I would find the Modiste yet open at this hour.”
“Oh, it is! It is only, with most people at their supper, as you have said, and with me alone in the shop—” Penelope winced and cut herself off. “Not alone in the shop. Madame Delacroix has only gone to—to retrieve something.” She was flustered.
“She… thought it best to lock the door. For safety,” Colin interpreted. He nodded. “Most sensible.”
“She did not expect anyone else tonight. That is what she told me.”
Penelope fumbled these words from her mouth, but Colin seemed to accept them unquestioningly. And why should he not? Was she not good, dutiful Penelope, ever obedient to her mama? She was assuredly not a young lady who would be assumed to be out alone for some scandalous reason, such as delivering the most-read gossip sheet in the ton! Not the little Featherington wallflower!
“It is good, perhaps, that I have seen you. That I am seeing you now.”
Did Colin seem slightly flustered as well? Now that the lie had been told, the excuse that explained Penelope’s visit to the Modiste, she regarded Colin with renewed awareness. They had not been alone together—completely alone—since she had pleaded with him to kiss her, and he had surrendered to her plea. She had sworn to ask nothing of him, but it was not her eyes, she felt, which were full of questions when Colin caught and held her gaze. Her heart began to pound.
“Is it?” she asked. The words came out sounding ragged, departing a mouth that had gone dry. Penelope licked her lips and blushed to see Colin’s gaze drop to follow the path of her tongue.
She was surely imagining things; it was what her mama would have told her if she had gone home and divulged where she had been and how she believed the Bridgerton boy-turned-man had stared. But she would never attempt to describe it. She could only hope to remember it when, like the kiss they had shared, it inevitably passed. A moment. The flame of a candle.
“You have been… on my mind,” Colin said carefully. He had his hands behind his back so that the step he took towards her felt leisurely and incidental. Except that Penelope’s heart raced.
“I-I have?”
“In truth…” She watched him exhale and release his hands’ restraining clasp. They hung by his sides. She longed to know where he would place them next. Colin stared into her eyes. “In truth, you occupy my thoughts until I am driven almost to distraction.”
“Colin!”
“It is the truth, Pen. Though I know I should not say it, I must swear that it is true.” Colin gestured emphatically.
He was now so near as to be looking down on her. The summer evenings were still long, but Penelope noticed that the room had dimmed since her arrival. Genevieve, for the sake of the surreptitiousness of their business, had not lit any candles. There were the windows—large, for enticing customers with the beautiful dresses on display—and yet the front of the shop began to feel quite close, quite removed, quite… private.
“You are the reason for my restlessness this very evening,” he confessed in a hushed voice, gaze roving her features. Again, he dwelt on her lips.
“Do you think,” Penelope whispered, “that you should not have kissed me?”
“Pen.” Colin lifted his hand and, with just the tips of his fingers, skimmed her cheek. “I think I should have kissed you much more.”
She gasped until his lips descending upon hers stopped her breath. She whimpered into his mouth. His fingers stole across her cheek and dove into her hair, amorously pressing her face to his. Penelope stretched up to meet Colin in the kiss, to meet him firmly, to let him know that she knew what it was to be alone in one’s feelings, and that Colin most definitely was not. The only reason their previous kiss had not undone her as it seemed to have thoroughly undone him was that she had not allowed it to; her one-sided attachment to him had been forever laced with fear. Following the moment in which it had been given to her, Penelope had locked the kiss away, hidden more securely than coins beneath the floorboards. That way, she had believed, she would be able to go on. She could marry someone else, or, likelier, resign herself to spinsterhood as her mama wished.
This season, Penelope had finally forced herself to acknowledge that it would be best for her to rid herself of the silly dream of Colin Bridgerton. As a child: the dream of Colin Bridgerton selecting her as his teammate in every game the two of them and Eloise played in the garden. As a young lady still two seasons from her debut: Colin Bridgerton escorting her gallantly on his arm to her first-ever ball. As a woman who begged for a kiss while longing for far more: Colin Bridgerton in her bed. The privilege of the sight of his skin under the glow of not a Mediterranean sun but the candles in their marital bedchamber. She had decided to banish all of it from her mind. But Colin had now kissed her twice, and this time, she had not requested it.
Nothing in their current actions felt like mercy or pity or even the sweet devotion of a long friendship. Penelope came to the feeling like a traveler to foreign land, but she knew it to be passion. Colin’s tongue had parted her lips to stroke inside her mouth, and she tugged the collar of his shirt to urge him on. He backed her against the wall of fabrics and Penelope moaned as his body crowded close. The hand that was not in her hair landed on her waist. Hers moved freely: a squeeze to the back of Colin’s neck, a helpful brushing of his rapidly disheveled hair out of his face, a caress of his chest, where she could feel his heart pounding as fiercely as her own behind the layers of his shirt and waistcoat.
When she unbuttoned his jacket, Colin answered the action with a soft groan that set her all aflame. Penelope fairly grabbed at him. He matched her every touch with equal frenzy. The hand upon her waist ran down over the curve of her backside. She slid her fingers beneath his collar, stroking the thin skin of his throat, and felt him shiver. His hips nudged against her, and she felt more than that.
It was not until Colin’s warm hand, which had trailed from her hair down the back of her neck, left that spot and was replaced by the sensation of cool satin that Penelope remembered herself. Remembered the windows that looked out onto the street. Remembered Genevieve, who could return at any moment. Penelope abruptly broke the kiss and slipped out from between Colin and the thick rolls of satin.
“We… we cannot,” she panted, blinking quickly.
“Oh,” Colin said numbly. Then, “Oh, oh, I do apologize. Pen, let me fix—”
“No, Colin, hold still. I must button—”
They worked to restore order to one another’s appearance. Colin bowed his head that Penelope might smooth his hair and she felt it was a shame, such a shame, to right something which was so extremely tempting when mussed. He then insisted on running his hands over her dress from waist to hips, claiming he ensured she did not appear rumpled; she suspected he was merely attempting to memorize the shape of her that he might later do with it… well, whatever might assist him in combatting the restlessness that had driven him from his home this night.
Finally, she prevailed upon him to stand up straight so she might refasten his jacket. Their fingers met as they both reached for the buttons. With a soft touch, his stilled hers, and Penelope raised her head to gaze wonderingly into the face of the man her heart had long ago decided was beyond compare. She watched as he swallowed as though readying himself to speak.
“Oh! Monsieur Bridgerton!”
They both turned and had the good sense to spring away from each other as Madame Delacroix stepped through from the rear of the shop. Their hands disconnected their hold as they moved, but Penelope knew Genevieve had seen the linked fingers. Her eyes found Penelope’s and communicated much, including a promise that she would reveal nothing. Though Penelope sighed in relief, she feared the pace of her heart might never return to normal. She had Colin to thank for that.
“Madame Delacroix,” he said, recovering from the surprise. “My mother—”
“The Dowager Viscountess has sent him to retrieve an order. Much as mine did.” With her eyes, Penelope requested that Genevieve play along.
“Ah, naturellement! I have Lady Bridgerton’s parcel ready for you, Monsieur. Your mother, she is well?”
Penelope exhaled as they conducted their business. When it was complete, Colin turned to her expectantly.
“Well?”
“Well,” she replied.
Colin chuckled.
“The item you were meant to collect. You know I would not leave without you.”
“Yes, of course. Madame Delacroix?” Penelope glanced anxiously towards the Modiste.
“It was necessary to make an unforeseen alteration to the… stitching,” Genevieve improvised, “but please inform Lady Featherington that her item will be ready in time for her occasion.”
“Ready in time,” Penelope sighed, knowing their true subject to be the edition of Whistledown she had hurried here to deliver. She smiled at Genevieve in gratitude. “Thank you, Madame Delacroix. I shall pass on the message.”
With a nod from the proprietress, she and Colin turned to leave the shop. He reached for the door handle. Rather than opening, the door rattled in its frame. Penelope saw the flush blossom on Colin’s cheeks as they were reminded that the door was locked, that he had locked it, and of what they had done with their increased, though fleeting, privacy.
Madame Delacroix swept in and turned the lock, releasing them. They mumbled their embarrassed thanks and stepped out.
Colin hailed a hack for Penelope, and she did not tell him it was the same that had conveyed her to the shop to conduct her business. He handed her up. With the door still open, they exchanged a meaningful look.
“Would you like to…?”
With evident effort, Colin shook his head. “I think I should prefer to walk.”
“Very well.”
She could tell he had heard the hint of disappointment in her tone, because he hastened to reassure her.
“It is not that I would not like to. I would.” His eyes burned into hers and her heart, falsely cued, resumed its earlier gallop. “However, I believe it would be prudent for me to… ah… regain control of my thoughts before I reach home.”
Penelope smiled and said, “I quite understand.”
He leaned closer as though to impart a secret: “My heart I have no hope for. It is entirely ruled by you.”
As he shut the door, that organ swelled within Penelope’s chest, and she smiled her overwhelmed delight. She and Colin maintained an expressive stare through the window as the hack pulled away, until she could see him no more.

Crying.
IDK but something about Brendan shipping Roy and Jamie and calling them 'the best couple' in an interview all while playing Beard like THAT? It brings character and makes me feel things. He's such a proud inclusive dad. I love this show so much & I'm not ready for this to be the last season ;_;
Also, from an interview with Hannah and Juno, for s2, when Juno said that Jason texted her and told her that he "had something very important/personal' to him and that he'd love for Juno to take a look at it. I can't get over Jason's personality, at least what he seems to be, especially comparing to his ex that cheated on him & the things she herself creates. The differences between them and how it shows!
I think we are absolutely blessed with this show. I love it, despite any possible hiccups. I just love it.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
"Captain, count us off."
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
The look Ted and Jamie share. <3 When is Ted adopting Jamie? Bc Jamie looking up to him like that, definitely a good friend and a father figure. Can't stop thinking about "Way to make that extra pass" and their entire storyline. Also, the fact that the cast said that Phil has puppy eyes and that if anyone is able to convince the writers of something, it's probably Phil. There's so much going on here. Also, Ted being proud of Jamie's "the sky is your limit", for letting Sam do it. I— Do you feel me? Do you???
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
The best show ever. Crying happy tears. I'm not sure, but it does feel like that moment Phil talked about, "not only the characters, but also the actors feeling ..." I forgot the word he used, sensitive? Vulnerable? But yeah. The feeling of sharing something big together. This love.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
I see what they did there & I'll gladly allow it. Colin gets it. When is it going to be revealed (again and louder) that Jamie is bi? Wheeennnn???
Also, Trent's book is gonna be AMAZING. I'd read that.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Colin telling Jamie that he loves him "so much" :')))))) The fact that these two are friends in the show AND irl. I love seeing it.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
I need gifs of this wonderful boy.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
The real stars of this show.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Almost there, Nathan. Can't wait for this storyline with Rupert to end. Nathan really should have gone with the guys when offered or just go hangout with Jade.
Tumblr media
I ship them, your honor. The idea of Trent pining, and pining, and getting to spend so much time with Ted without saying anything more than platonic. *sigh* Yeah, this does things to me. I hope that book is worth it.
