So... from listening to the song so much and reading too many fanfics about Taks Force 141, I couldn't help but:
imagine a scenario where the four of them meet in a bar in a small town where they go from being perceived, celebrating a little after a few days ago, they would manage to find the last witness of an important conspiracy and arrive in time to put them safe in the protection program.
For some reason, Ghost got carried away with Soap and managed to get him drunk enough to let loose and do some other silly thing or game.
To you, they seem like a very particular group... and handsome, without a doubt. The fact that you relieved your partner had its positive side in the end. Although they were all handsome and polite, you verified the latter from all the times you went to serve them, the one who caught your attention the most was the man with the skull mask.You tried to get his attention, but he seemed uncomfortable so you let him.
Instead, the man with the Mohican haircut came over to start a pleasant conversation with you. He introduces himself and invites you to go to the table where he is with his team (except Ghost, who was involved in a group where they were doing strength or skill challenges). He introduces you to the group and everyone introduces themselves "and that's Ghost over there" Soap mentions in amusement "do you want me to bring him?" He asks as if nothing had happened. You get nervous and tell him that you don't want to bother him, that he could understand that he doesn't like you.
Meanwhile, Ghost watches what is happening and feels upset. A moment ago he thought you just wanted to talk to him so you could get to Soap, Gaz, or even Price, because that always happened on group outings. And seeing them all laughing and chatting in such a friendly way made him uncomfortable, marginalized. He decided to pretend that nothing was happening and continue enjoying the rest of the outing as best as possible... even if that meant giving up being able to talk to you, or even giving up the possibility of kissing you, because... god, girl, you are so fucking beautiful...
Soap and the others tell you a little about what Ghost is like and that he probably behaved like that towards you because he likes you. You laugh nervously and deny that it could be like that, you think he's an unattainable guy or something like that. "Look, pretty, I have no problem showing you that it is like that but..." Soap directs his gaze towards where Ghost is because he can feel his intensity, which he hides very well by very subtly diverting his gaze from time to time "I want to bother him one last time tonight." You didn't really understand what Soap meant, but before you could do or say anything, he gets up and walks over to where Ghost is.
You watching both talk and from time to time look at you out of the corner of their eye. There is a moment of silence on Ghost's part while Soap continued talking to him with a smile, as if he was having fun with the topic of the talk. Ghost looks at you one last time and then says a few words to Soap, who seems very happy and pats him on the shoulder a couple of times. Ghost gets up from his spot and disappears from your sight. Soap imitates the movement but heads towards where you are.
You ask Soap what that was all about, he laughs "if he sings a song, he asks you out. I know you wouldn't reject him because you like him, but I wanted to have some fun." You could feel your face getting hot from the surge of blood. Your heart wasn't helping much by pumping in that irregular way. You wanted to stop the joke because you didn't want Ghost to have to go through so much embarrassment just to talk to you because if it were up to you, you'd stay with him all night, talking about whatever, even if it meant you being the most active one the talk, or even being locked in that bar.
Then a great commotion was heard, the small stage of the bar was being occupied by the local band and then Ghost appeared hooded and with his characteristic balaclava, which left his mouth exposed. Seeing those lips made you thirsty and you quenched it a little with the closest drink you had.
The musicians tuned their instruments and Ghost cleared his throat a little without realizing that he had the microphone nearby. The sound was clear enough to give you chills. After a few minutes, he started singing and something in you lit up...

Dance of the Moonlight Jellies
I've mentioned before how when I first installed East Scarp, my game would completely bork in the transition between Summer and Fall, meaning every time I made a change to my mod setup, I had to replay the last day of Summer. It took me damn near a week to figure out what the issue was (and I had to make a new save), but I got so sick and tired of this festival.
Time heals all wounds. It also helps that Dynamic Reflections makes the water so damn pretty.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
You can see the stars! And it makes the Visible Fish so lovely too. (Well, the trash isn't so pretty....)
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
I've made mention before that I have so damn many NPCs these days. They really make the festivals feel more... festive.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
They truly make the valley come alive.
Of course, every community has its grumpy loners:
Tumblr media
This arrangement cracked me up. You just know they were cursing out Callie and her glow rings just then.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
I love Sen. I really, really do. His disguises for each festival are utterly fantastic.
And look, Jas! They did bring bebbies this year!

All my 1.6 playthrough posts can be found here. If you're curious about Callie and my attempt to interweave SVE, Ridgeside, and East Scarp, look here for an ongoing series about her first year.

mhmmm okay i'll admit, i've been playing dredge.
so instead of writing about the blorbos, i wrote a 3,7k long self-indulgent fic based on a thing that happened to me in game, and then further inspired by a subsequent discord conversation.
look i'm very normal about this game.
(go play it, it's got vibes.)

Lurking in the dark 4
Tumblr media
Pairing: Park Jinyoung (GOT7) x Fem!Reader; Genre: Action, Assassin AU, Romance, Strangers to Lovers, Humour, Angst; Rating: nsfw, 18+; Warnings: mentions of killing, worrying about death, an explosion, grumpy got7 in the morning, talking about killing someone, tension between the reader and Jinyoung, Jaebeom being hostile; Wordcount: 2.288
Summary: After witnessing the murder of your previous boss, you were forced to follow the assassin. Normally witnesses would have been killed but he decided against it, taking you to their hideout, a small guest house in the middle of nowhere. The assassin and the rest of his group were hiding more than you thought but you had to keep a huge secret for yourself as well.
Masterlist
Tumblr media
Jinyoung stared at you without moving or reacting at all. Even his eyes didn’t move a bit, which would have been an indicator that he tried analysing you, but with him being like a living statue you had no clue.
The longer he stared at you the more unnerving it became. Still, you refused to budge now. Refused to take your question back. You were sure you had the right guy. Right? A shimmer of worry flared up inside of you. What if you just revealed you had been spared by an assassin to the wrong person? You could feel your heart pounding against your ribcage. All while your breathing became more and more shallow. This wasn’t good.
“You know”, Jinyoung suddenly spoke up, a hint of a smirk playing over his lips, “it’s said that curiosity killed the cat.”
For a second everything stopped. Everything except your mind running miles an hour. How were you supposed to respond now? Did he finally admit he was the assassin you saw? Was he trying to tell you to keep your questions to yourself or otherwise you might die? Was he threatening you just now? You broke the intense eye contact and stared at the floor between you two, trying to regain some of your confidence.
“But satisfaction brought it back”, you mumbled, still staring down at the ground.
“If you have nine lives that is.”
“The saying doesn’t include the nine lives of a cat,” you argued and finally looked back up, new determination flashing up inside your eyes. “So tell me!”
Jinyoung shrugged with his shoulders. He tried everything to keep his composure in front of you. Everything you did, everything you said, all of it took him off guard. You simply kept surprising him. The minute he thought he had the upper hand over you, you proved him to be wrong with a simple change of your aura. “Something about you is odd.”
You hadn’t even noticed how tense you were in his presence but upon hearing his reasoning you quite literally deflated. “You think I’m strange?”
“Most definitely.” Jinyoung nodded slowly, as if he tried to convince himself this was the sole reason for him sparing your life. “I’ll keep my eyes on you until I know what’s the deal with you.”
You snickered and stood up, walking back to the furniture in front of the sliding door. “Oh please, don’t flatter me.” You smiled softly before you turned around and quickly returned to your own room, closing the door right behind you again.
You placed your hand over your rapidly beating heart, cursing yourself mentally that his words actually had a flattering effect on you. Especially since you knew how dangerous the attention of an assassin towards you could be. You needed to keep a low profile at all costs - not just in front of him but in front of the other residents as well. Your only hope was that Jinyoung would keep quiet about your true reason for coming here. Otherwise you wouldn’t stand a chance.
After a restless night where you shot up every time you heard a noise, you really dreaded getting up in the morning. You felt more confident last night when you met all the residents but with all this time thinking, worry gnawed at your insides.
You worried a lot about your stay at the Baby Bird and especially if you’d ever get out alive. One misstep could be enough for them to figure out who you were. Yet you couldn’t just stay in your room and avoid them at all costs with no money to pay.
A deep sigh escaped your mouth as you got up and walked over to your door, opening it with a trembling hand. You suppressed the shriek building inside your throat when you nearly bumped into someone standing in front of your room. Your wide eyes wandered up to the face of Youngjae.
“You’re up early.” His eyes quickly scanned your face. “Did you sleep alright?”
You tried to muster a smile as well. “It’s always a challenge to sleep at a new place. Though I’m also used to waking up early.”
Youngjae nodded shortly before he grinned. “As long as you think the inn is comfortable. Are you ready to work? We need to prepare breakfast for the rest.” He gave you a quick hand motion to follow him and started walking down the hallway without looking back again.
You hurriedly shut your door and rushed after Youngjae, taking more of the house and surroundings in as the break of dawn casted more light onto it.
The two large buildings you already saw last night as well as the connecting hallway basically hid away a small but beautiful garden. A small pond nested in the middle of the garden, a few frogs croaking their good mornings with the sun steadily rising and waking nature.
“The guests must love it to take a stroll through the garden.”
“Most guests only stay for a night and continue their travels after breakfast the next morning”, Youngjae answered you, looking longingly over the garden as well. “I had hoped that guests would use the verandas to relax and gaze upon the pond while doing so.”
“Have you ever tried to advertise your inn in the nearby towns? I’m sure some newlyweds would love to spend their honeymoons here.”
The minute you said these words a loud boom blasted through the peaceful morning ambience.
You stopped in surprise, thankful you didn’t jump in fright, as you turned around and saw a dark cloud of smoke wafting into the air behind the back house.
Youngjae sighed deeply and rubbed his temples. “There are several reasons why one night guests might be better after all.”
You looked back at Youngjae, trying to stay as surprised and unknowingly as possible. Even though you thought it made sense that people shouldn’t stay too long around assassins. Though he didn’t need to know about your intel. “Is that normal?”
“Sadly, yes.” Youngjae continued his walk down towards the kitchen, making sure he would kick some ass later when you wouldn’t be around.
“What was that noise anyway?”
“Nothing to worry about.”
“Shouldn’t I know about it? If it’s normal I assume it happens rather often and shouldn’t I be prepared whenever something doesn’t go as planned?” You followed Youngjae but glanced back to the dissipating black cloud every other step, wanting to investigate it further.
You had smelt the gunpowder on two guys last night but you never operated with it yourself and it made you curious.
In your own curiosity you didn’t notice your choice of words, nor the look Youngjae gave you.
“Bambam and Yugyeom are playing around. That’s it.”
“What are they playing with?”
Youngjae sighed again, his initial suspicion fading upon your almost naive questioning. “I’m sure you’re going to learn that soon enough. Since you’re going to help around, you’re most likely to meet and interact with the others around here. And as long as I have known those two, they are definitely willing to show off to a pretty woman. Anyway, we need to hurry now.”
“Why?” You nearly had to run after Youngjae with his fast pace, confused by the change in his calm demeanour.
“They’re a pain in the butt without a proper breakfast this early in the morning.”
“Who?”
“All of them, except Bambam and Yugyeom since they woke them up.”
As if to underline Youngjae’s words you heard some yelling and screeching coming from the complex behind you. “Oh wow.”
You picked up your pace and jogged after Youngjae, sliding into the kitchen soon after. While Youngjae rushed around the room and grabbed all kinds of things, you stood rather helplessly in the middle of it.
“I had hoped to introduce you to everything around here more calmly and with a lot more time at hand but this has to do for now.” Youngjae pulled you up to the stove, quickly showing you how to operate it before he placed bacon and eggs next to you.
“If I don’t get some coffee into my system now, I’m going to kill someone!”
“We should just get rid of the firecrackers instead of someone random. I can’t stand them doing experiments in the middle of the night!”
“It’s the early morning, not the middle of the night.”
“Shut up Jackson! Don’t even try to be peaceful.”
You turned to the door, seeing two grumpy men and a giggling Jackson entering the kitchen. Your eyes immediately fell onto Jinyoung, who ran his hand through his hair in an annoyed manner.
“One morning of peace. That’s all I’m asking for.” Jinyoung sat down at the large table in the middle of the kitchen, resting his head on his hands. “And some coffee.”
The other two sat down as well, slumping down just as quickly as Jinyoung until Youngjae placed three cups of coffee on the table.
“Where’s Jaebeom?”
“Dealing with the pests”, Mark grumbled and clutched his cup with two hands, inhaling the freshly brewed scent. “They interrupted his morning meditation.”
“As if that meditation would help him get less impatient”, Jackson giggled and sipped at his coffee before he placed it down on the table and pushed the cup away. “Can I do my shake instead?” He looked at Youngjae with large puppy eyes.
You caught the disgusted look on all their faces, wondering what it was about but quickly continued cooking.
Soon enough you felt someone staring at you, making your skin prickle all over your back. You had a feeling who it was but refused to confirm it. Ever since the fluttering feeling from last night you wanted to avoid looking at him as much as possible.
Jinyoung had another idea though. As soon as his eyes landed on your form, his body basically moved on its own. He stood up with his cup of coffee and walked over to you, glancing over your shoulder. “Good morning, kitty.”
A shiver ran down your spine with his low voice and his breath tickling your ear. Even though your body reacted like that, you narrowed your eyes as you briefly glanced at him, showcasing his choice of greeting annoyed you.
“Do you like your eggs boiled, fried or scrambled?”
Jinyoung chuckled and leaned against the counter next to the stove. “This almost sounds like a threat.”
“What sounds like a threat?” Jackson turned around to Jinyoung, finally realising you were in the kitchen as well. “Oh! Hey! Good morning!”
You turned around to Jackson and smiled at him brightly, greeting him as well. “I have no idea.” You glanced at Jinyoung before looking back at Jackson. “I only asked him how he likes his eggs.”
Jackson frowned and turned his attention towards Jinyoung. “How is that question a threat? It’s way more considerate if you ask me. Nobody ever asked how I like my eggs! I only ever got the finished dish placed in front of me without even asking me whether I like it or not!”
“If you want pity, you aren’t getting that here.”
“Just like getting asked for my preferences! I don’t get that here either! Mark! Help me out! Jinyoung is mean again!”
“Don’t drag me into this.”
Jackson immediately whined more, literally begging Mark to take his side. They continued to bicker around until Youngjae shut them up with a stern look.
You silently continued to cook the bacon and the eggs, trying to ignore Jinyoung’s presence lingering around you. Which proved to be harder than you thought.
He brushed against you whenever he walked past you, placed tools and dishes you needed next to you before you were even able to ask Youngjae for them and simply stayed next to you the whole time.
Even after Jaebeom dragged Bambam and Yugyeom into the kitchen and all of them sat down at the table, Jinyoung stayed next to you, watching silently what you were doing.
You bit down on the inside of your cheek, trying to focus on anything but Jinyoung. You nearly exhaled in relief when he sat down at the table as well after you placed the bacon and eggs on it.
“Thanks for the food!”
You smiled, seeing how the younger ones immediately dove in and stacked dishes on their plates. It reminded you of little children eager to get the best candies.
“Aren’t you going to eat with us?” Yugyeom halted in his action and looked at you with big eyes, resulting in everyone turning towards you as well.
Youngjae, who already sat down at the end of the table, looked at you expectantly, indicating you were allowed to sit and eat with them.
Flustered, you came closer to the table and sat down on the empty seat between Jackson and Jinyoung. “Thank you.”
“Of course! We all eat together whenever we’re here! It’s boring to eat alone,” Jackson told you and immediately placed food on the plate in front of you. “Sometimes not all of us are here but that doesn’t mean the rest aren't eating together. So make sure to always show up whenever it’s time to eat and you’re at the Baby Bird.”
Jaebeom scoffed and crossed his arms in front of his chest. “Don’t treat her like she’s one of us. This woman is gone as soon as her situation settles.”
“With your attitude, yeah, definitely. How about showing some hospitality? We could become friends in the long run.”
“In our line of work there is no such thing as friends.”
Jackson gasped loudly and grabbed onto your hand involuntarily as he stared at Jaebeom with an open mouth. “Aren’t we friends?”

Lurking in the Dark
Chapter 4: A Warm Welcome
Warnings: none
Tumblr media
Liz watched the cameras with bated breath, watching as the shapes moved across the screens.
"I'm sure they're fine," John comforted, giving her a small smile. But she didn't turn her head in acknowledgement.
"You saw how big that thing was, John." She shook her head, eyes fixated on the screens. "And you know how HB is, I don't want him to get cocky and try to fight it,"
"Agent Sherman?" Johann's voice came through her comms.
"Yes?"
"We found where Agents Granites team was attacked and we found a possible suspect,"
"A suspect? That deep in the sewers? Who-" Liz's brow furrowed, finally pulling her eyes away from the screens to look at John. He had a similar confused expression.
Before Liz could answer, the Agents outside of the truck started to talk louder, rushing around outside.
John and Liz stood, opening the truck doors and seeing Red and Abe approaching the truck. They were covered in sewer water and mud, but uninjured.
"Oh thank god...." Liz happily mumbled under her breath.
"Hey, Babe!" Red raised his stone hand, waving with a happy smile. "Guess who we found!"
He moved to the side allowing the others to see past him. Walking with a tote bag tossed over their shoulder was Ryan.
Liz laughed, rushing out of the truck towards the three of them. Ryan laughed, dropping her tote bag and picking up Liz in a big hug.
"Ryan! It's so good to see you!" She happily laughed, embracing her old friend.
"Oh, Lizzie, I missed you too," Ryan purposefully spun them around so she could look at Red. They smirked, wrapping their arms tightly around Liz's back, holding her close. Ryan winked.
Red rolled his eyes, stepping forward.
"Wait, what were you doing in the sewers anyway? I thought you were taking a break from missions and investigating stuff?" Liz pulled away, still smiling. Red came up behind her, wrapping an arm around her waist.
"It's a long story, but short version, I live there," Ryan's smile fell, putting their arms on their hips.
"You live in the sewers? How-"
"Convenient." Johann came around the side of the building. He had come to the surface before Red and Abe and yet had just rejoined the group. "Now, let's all get back to HQ, we have some tests to run,"
The disdain was thick in his automated voice as he heavy stepped past all of them. Liz glanced at Ryan, then at Red.
"You're staying with us?" Liz asked.
"Yup, just for a little bit," Ryan picked up their tote bag, slinging it over their shoulder and walking towards the truck. The others followed close behind. "The boys practically begged me to help them with the case, and I have nothing better going on,"
"Hey, I did not beg," Red corrected, squinting and holding up a defensive finger. "I asked, politely,"
Both girls giggled at that, not turning to meet his eye.
"Oh, Ryan, this is Agent John Myers," Abe stepped in front of them when they got to the truck. He motion to John who was talking with Johann. "Agent Myers, this is Ryan, an old Agent and friend or ours,"
Johann quickly turned away, walking to another group of agents. John cleared his throat and held his hand out.
"It's nice to meet you," He was shocked by their strong grip.
"You as well,"
"Okay, everyone, load up, we're heading back!" Johann shouted. The agents quickly packed up the weapons, gear, and everything else they had packed.
"Can't wait to see how HQ's changed," Ryan smirked, stepping past John and into the back of the garbage truck.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
"Damn, this place looks...the exact same," Ryan spun in a circle, looking around the main lobby.
"We changed some things," Liz commented, coming to stand beside them. "Come on, I'll show you to your old room,"
Ryan nodded, adjusting their tote bag and following Liz down the hall.
Red looked to Abe, waiting for him to be done debriefing the other agents. Once the agents had left for the labs, he approached Abe.
"How you doin', Blue?" Abe had a folder in his hands and was reading it and walking to the library. Red stayed right at his side, lighting a cigar.
"I'm well, how about you? I'm assuming you miss be in pain from being dragged in-"
"Not what I meant," Red interrupted, puffing out smoke. Abe glanced at him, closing the folder.
"What did you mean?"
"Oh come on, Blue," Red stopped walking, Abe turned to face him. "The Ryan thing,"
"What Ryan thing?" Red scoffed, glancing around to make sure no one was listening.
"C'mon, Abe. You kissed her,"
Abe sighed, shoulders slumping, turning and walking back to to the library.
"It's wasn't that kind of kiss," At Red's scoff he continued. "We thought we weren't going to get out of that trap, and yes we did kiss, only once, but...it...it..." Abe trailed off, not looking to Red.
"What, was it a friendly kiss?" Red rolled his eyes, following him as closely ad he could with his sore leg.
"Yes, exactly," Abe agreed.
"That was sarcastic, Blue," Red took a large step, coming right up to his side, nudging his shoulder. "You don't friendly kiss someone when you think you're going to die,"
"Maybe you don't," Abe sassed back.
"Fishstick!" Manning rushed down the hallway, cutting off Red's snide remark. "Er, both of you, Mr. Krauss has called a meeting and wants you both there," He was out of breath and panting loudly.
"Alright, let's go see what the gas bag wants," Red rolled his eyes. Manning nodded, turning and rushing down the hall to the meeting room.
Before rushing after Manning, Red turned to Abe.
"We'll continue this conversation later,"
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
"So, there's got to be another reason as to why you decided to come back," Liz commented, sitting on the edge of Ryan's bed.
The room was small with concrete walls and floors. But instead of it being a square room, it was circular. The left wall was complete stone, and her bed was pushed against it.
The other wall was large glass panes with thick iron frames that lead into a personal pool area.
"You want the truth? I missed you guys, I missed this place," Ryan smiled, looking around at her room.
"You said you're living in the sewers, why?" Liz asked softly, Ryan sighed, sitting next to her.
"My landlord kicked me out, I had nowhere else to go, that's why I accepted, especially with that croc on the loose."
"You know the crocodile?" Ryan cleared her throat, looking forward.
"I don't know know him, he won't talk to me, he's crazy and unpredictable, he even..." Ryan took off their jacket, rolling up the sleeve of their shirt and revealing a large bite mark on their arm.
"Oh..." Liz's eyes widened. Their whole right forearm had large scars going all around it. They were still pink and swollen, only haven recently healed.
"Yeah, that thing's not normal," Ryan's voice was thick, teeth gritted as her fingers ran over the scars.
"I'd have figured with your powers, you'd be able to stop it," Liz raised a brow. Ryan cleared their throat, turning away momentarily to put their jacket back on.
"I did too," Liz opened her mouth to ask another question when her comms device went off.
"Agent Sherman, I'm calling for a meeting in the laboratory with the tooth, please hurry,"
"Guess we better go," Ryan smirked and they both left the room.
Ryan glanced back at their old room, clutching the doorhandle, thinking back to older memories. She sighed, pulling the door shut tight.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
"Thank you all for coming," Johann said once everyone was in the small lab room. Even though he didn't have eyes, he was glaring daggers at Ryan.
"Is that a tooth?" Ryan mused, leaning forward, hands in her jacket pockets.
"Yes, it came from the huge crocodile in the sewers that attacked Granite and his team," Abe said with a nod.
"The same crocodile that just so happens to live in the same sewer as you, Agent Ryan," Johann hissed, clicking his metallic fingers on the tray in front of him.
"That's strange, crocodiles don't normally loose teeth like this, it looks like it's been pulled out," Ryan stepped forward, picking up the dish the tooth was in. Johann grew irritated that she ignored his statement.
"Wait, what do you mean pulled?" Liz asked, crossing her arms.
"It's not uncommon for animals to loose some teeth if they've been fighting or something, but this is a front tooth, like from right at the edge of the snout, these ones don't just fall out. Also, look at the indent on the side their," She held the dish so the others could see. "There's a small chip there, looks like a knife or something knocked it straight out of the crocs mouth,"
"It's quite peculiar how much you know about crocodiles Agent Ryan," Johann plucked the tooth from their hands and set it back down on the table.
"Well it is kinda in my job description," Ryan mused, earning a chuckle from Red and Liz.
"Pardon?"
"What Ryan means, Sir Krauss, is her powers, she can communicate with animals, and even has some animal abilities," Abe answered, giving Ryan a small smile.
"Animal abilities? Like what?" Johann crossed his arms, lowering his head towards Ryan, prompting her to answer.
"I can breath underwater for an extended period of time, I have excellent hearing, and a sense of smell. And I can grow some limbs or a tail if so desired. And I also have night vision,"
"Hmmm," He uncrossed his arms and peered back down at the tooth. "I believe-"
"Mr. Krauss!" Before Johann could answer, another agent came bursting into the room, he was panting and sweating. "We need you upstairs, sir! Now!"
"Is everythin' alright?" Red asked, glancing at Abe and Liz.
"Uh...I'm not sure yet, but we just need Mr. Krauss up there as soon as possible,"
"Alright, we will continue this meeting tomorrow, you are dismissed," Johann walked around the table and followed the agent down the hallway to the elevator.
"'You are dismissed' what are we teenagers?" Red mocked his accent.
"You acted like one today in the sewers," Abe sassed.
"What? Oh, Red please tell me you did not fight the croc," Liz put her hands on her face, rubbing her temples.
"It attacked me first!" He counted. They bickering back and forth, yelling over each other.
"That's another thing you missed," Abe leaned over to whisper to Ryan, motioning to Red and Liz. "Them,"
"Oh, every couple fights, no big deal," Ryan spoke normally, getting their attention.
"Abe, did you tell her were together? I wanted to tell them about Red and I," Liz playfully smacked Abe's arm.
"Nobody told me it was obvious," Ryan gave a small laugh. "How many years have you guys been together, it must be like 5 now right?"
"5 years?" Red and Liz spoke at the same time.
"You think we've been together for 5 years? No it's only been a few months," Liz shook her head.
"This whole time you've known us and worked with us, you thought we were ready dating?" Red asked. Ryan simply nodded.
"It's was so obvious you guys liked each other,"
"Apparently not to them," Abe whispered to Ryan, both of them laughed for a moment.
"Oh, I missed you guys," Ryan sighed before leaving the room and walking back to their old bedroom.
Red chuckled, taking a step closer to Abe.
"That was funny, Blue. Especially since you're the one telling it, given it's so obvious you like them,"
"Red-" Abe started, not wanting Liz to know.
"Oh come on, Abe. It's so obvious...well to most of us," Liz interrupted with a smile.
Abe sighed.
Look at those adorable little Junimos. Good job, guys!
While Sterling's marriage dialogue remains wonky (I still need to do a screengrab of that particular weirdness [Note: this took place/was written before updating Json Assets fixed the issue.]), his other dialogue remains unaffected.
I love Sterling, but he's a bit of a dick sometimes. Then again, my go-to for years was Shane, so... yeah. Anyways.
I have never played with Sen before, but every time I manage to catch him somewhere it gives me a happy. One of these days I need to break down and look up how to trigger his various events, but sprinklers first!
All my 1.6 playthrough posts can be found here. If you're curious about Callie's 1.5 relationships with Sterling and Shane, look here for an ongoing series about her first year.
