Isn't it "funny" that Imu destroys Lulusia in the same chapter where Luffy happily talks with his crew about what is at the end of his dream?
Tumblr media
Like, you see this.....
Tumblr media
...and after a few pages you have this
Tumblr media
I think, if this is no coincidence (which likely isn't, Oda wouldn't randomly put all of these specific scenes in the same chapter), it could be taken as another proof that at the end of Luffy's dream of becoming the pirate king there is something bigger than that, something like maybe uniting the whole world under his crew, the whole world being one "crew" of friends (literally a one piece of friendship lol) and of course Imu stands in the way of it, because they want to keep the world divided into four seas, various nations with social and racial differences fueling hate against each other (instead of directing it towards the ACTUAL enemy).
Imu's style is surely divide et impera, while Luffy wants everyone to be free and happy. I also think ultimately the concept of "one piece" will be applied to the whole world, the Red Line will cease to exist and so all the separations and divisions it symbolises, not just physically as one huge mountain in a world of sea but also as the house of Celestial Dragons and World Government

Koala as the Ace of Wands! Who designed the revolutionary symbol? No offense, but the World Government has the better one. This one looks like it was designed by a child. Did Dragon draw it when he was 15 and kept it or what?
I chose Koala for this card because I think she fits the theme of new opportunities, growth and potential. She holds a pipe instead of a wand because of her connection to Sabo. In the background is Lulusia Kingdom which is about to revolt.

I'm sure other people have probably noticed and pointed this out already but uhhh... anyone else think this looks suspiciously like Enie's Lobby... like... maybe this is how it was formed?? like Enies Lobby is built over a place that got erased from existence??

The Dragon's Clause
Sabo x Fem Reader CW: Forced marriage, intrigue, character death, fantasy violence, blood, magic, language, smut, 18+ mdni
Summary: The Nusjuro empire is one of Five Empires in the world, each over seeing the safety and welfare of the Kingdoms that share a continent with them. You're the niece of the King of Lulusia, a small, but rich kingdom whose northern border faces the Wilds, a large swath of land overrun by beasts and monsters.
Unforeseen political issues complicate your life, and you find yourself facing unexpected clauses, causes, and claws!
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Chapter 1: A Review
The Empire of Nusjuro was one of five empires across all the realms that had been founded around the same time some eight hundred years prior. Each of the empires had within them several kingdoms. The Empires themselves offered protection to those kingdoms willing, and able, to pay them tribute.
A sign of deference and reverence.
Kingdoms unable or unwilling to pay the tribute often found themselves razed to the ground and struck from the records of history. The empire itself rarely even had to raise a hand, simply allowing other surrounding kingdoms to wipe the offending kingdom from the maps and records through their own greed.
Such actions struck you as foolish, when the lands beyond the borders of any given empire were rife with monsters. It seemed wiser to have more people focused on dealing with the abominations, than wasting resources and lives over foolish things like borders.
The foul beasts were born up from some source none could be sure of. It was agreed that the creatures were hardly natural in their creation, but despite the ferocity and danger of them, their existence was lucrative. Beasts from the wild were soaked in magic, so all parts of them held value, from their hides to the bones. There was a cost in pushing them back, but it was often off-set by the beasts’ own corpses.
Your own country of Lulusia was lucky enough to border lands with particularly useful beasts at its border. Coming out ahead with monsters was a mix of how difficult it was to deal with the beast, and how effective its remains could be processed. Lulusia made decent coin from its monster expeditions, though the neighboring kingdom of Goa struggled to break even on the costs of its own expeditions.
What Lulusia lacked, however, Goa had in spades, and so the two kingdoms had known prosperous trade and peace for some time. Lulusia’s king, your uncle, was good friends with Goa’s king, as the two had attended the academy in the kingdom of Germa back in their youth.
Germa was the academic center for the Nusjuro empire, and almost all nobility, and most assuredly all royalty, attended a year or more at the academy there. Less time was needed for those who had taken up academic studies prior to attendance, and more time was needed for those seeking to specialize in some variety of magic or academia.
Magic in this world was easily categorized into three sections: Basic magic, or cantrips as they were more commonly called, advanced magic, also known as restricted magic, and specialized magic. Cantrips were little more than ways to make one’s life easier, requiring almost no magic to conjure, and very little knowledge to command. Cantrips were useful for things like lighting stoves and campfires, donning and doffing armor used by knights, mending clothes, and helping road-weary travelers stay clean when there was neither an inn nor bath within easy reach.
Advanced magic required more magic, and with few exceptions, formal instruction of some variety. Advanced magic applications covered the gamut from teleportation magics, to destructive rains of fire, to defensive capabilities. Often one either dedicated their time to learning magic or the sword, though there were plenty of people well-practiced in both. Knights capable of wielding advanced magic were either Guardians, or Elemental Swords, depending on their specialization.
Guardians protected themselves and their charges with defensive spells, and Elemental Swords, or simply Swords, were often adept at a single element of magic, and incorporated it into their fighting style.
Your father had been a Sword, and a grandmaster at that. He had three elemental magics he was adept with, and had utilized that flexibility to be the best border knight that Lulusia had known for some generations. His capacity in that regard, and his decision to step down, had kept the small kingdom at peace despite concerns about a war of succession between him and his brother.
“Stay focused lil’ scale, you have a lot to cover during your travels.” You murmur to yourself, turning the page in the book you were currently working through.
Beyond advanced magic was specialized magic. It was difficult to learn specialized magic in a formal setting, and most people who had some sort of specialized magic had either discovered it by happy accident, or been naturally gifted toward it. Specialized magic ran the breadth and width of imagination, allowing the user to transform their own body, or effect the world around them. Some people could seemingly produce materials out of thin air, creating everything from strings to great forests, with minimal magic use and efficiencies far beyond what any known restricted spell could manage.
In some cases the only difference between were-beasts and specialists was the simple fact that specialists had more control over their transformations.
One of the most famous specialists was the Royal Mage of the Dawn Kingdom, who taught at Germa’s academy when his kingdom’s princes had attended. He was known only as The Phoenix, and you weren’t even sure what he looked like, his fiery, feathered form being the most well-known appearance of his.
The Dawn Kingdom had the largest northern border, and as such its military might was impressive compared to its size. Though the current stability within the kingdom was thanks to the adoption of a second prince, who specialized in fire magic to such a degree that people called him the Flame Emperor. A risky moniker, given how touchy the empire is regarding such things, but apparently it fit well enough that there hasn’t been any backlash regarding it.
It was possible, though not plausible, that there wasn’t anything the empire could do about it. Once a name like that caught on, it wouldn’t matter if the Dawn Kingdom attempted to quell it. Things like that had a life of their own.
You shake your head, you’re getting off task again.
The Dawn Kingdom’s problems weren’t yours. Your problem was specific, though maybe “problem” wasn’t so much the word as “predicament” was.
Things between Lulusia and Goa had been slowly deteriorating, and it had been decided between the Kings that a renewal of bonds between their nations was in order. King Seki’s daughter was ill, and he had refused to risk her health, either by land or by teleportation, which itself was a draining process. Seki’s only other child was his eldest son, the crown prince and heir apparent to Lulusia.
That left you.
As the daughter of the king’s brother, you were, by rights, a royal. As such you were afforded certain privileges, such as an education in magic and etiquette, and other more functional academic pursuits. In exchange for those privileges, however, many of your options were decided for you. As the only child of your father, you were forbidden from becoming a border knight, this would have been regardless of your gender, since noble bloodlines fell under the Covenant of the Celestial Dragons, or more commonly referred to as the Divine Clause.
It was a holy document, said to be thousands of years old, that named the bloodlines of the five elders, the twenty saints, and hundred valors. The founding bloodlines for the Empire, the Empire's prominent families, and the hundred kingdoms.
It was more like the sixty-seven kingdoms currently. The number had been in flux for as long as you were alive, and far before you, you were sure. Despite the stability the Empire seemed to promise, there was little more certain in the world than war between kingdoms.
The Divine Clause was one of several such concepts handed down from the Empires and their collective grip on the world. Your father hadn’t been a fan of the system as it was, and you had inherited at least a little of his disdain. You kept it tucked down, as much as you did many parts of yourself.
You’d kept your grades, grace, and martial skills hidden from your uncle, and cousins. You didn’t play the fool, but you’d been prudent to keep yourself below the bar of your kin. Royalty though you were, you weren’t foolish enough to think it would protect you. Your uncle might not have been cruel, but he would’ve burned you at the stake to protect his wealth and his children, of that you had little doubt.
Komane and Maneko had been friendly toward you when you were all children, but once Komane’s illness kept her inside more, and Maneko left for the academy, there had been a sort of neutral business affect to your interactions.
You weren’t surprised things had turned out this way, in all honesty.
With a sigh you return to your studies. You needed to review the interactions of Lulusia and Goa before your arrival. Information was going to be your only weapon until you were able to amass support directly for yourself, and you’d have to do that carefully. Like with your cousins, it wouldn’t be wise to outshine Goa’s crown prince before establishing yourself.
The major kingdoms of concern were your own Lulusia, which required little extra reading, you knew the ins and outs of your own home better than the king. Then Goa, which was your destination, and finally the Dawn Kingdom, which was entwined with Goa.
Lulusia and Dawn had almost no direct interaction with one another, but Goa and Dawn had established robust and lucrative trade routes, met regularly to make sure things were favorable for both kingdoms, and had several things in common.
One of the most notorious things they had in common were that neither kingdom’s crown prince was the biological heir of the current king. In the case of the Dawn Kingdom it had been an event of grandeur and celebration.
In Goa it had been awkward at best. Rumor had been that the King and Queen had intended to cow their son into compliance by adopting an heir apparent. Despite their actions and threats, the biological son hadn’t buckled to whatever demands they required, and they had no choice but to crown the adopted son.
Thus did Goa end up with a Grand Duke.
News regarding him was split down class lines so deeply it was hard to say which was truth. The commoners seemed to exalt and love the Grand Duke. Tasked with keeping the northern border safe, it was rumored that he did so almost single-handedly. The only person with a stronger flame than his was the crowned prince of the Dawn Kingdom.
Nobles, however, painted a far different tale. The Grand Duke was a monster with a soul of ice. Stone hard skin, and a grip of poison. A twisted and scarred man who hungered for the throne, and brought an unnatural chill into every event he attended.
Rumors of his desire for power ran the gamut of hysterical to blood-chillingly believable.
Both sets of rumors pushed the limits of possibility, since no one could guard miles upon miles of border by themselves, and if he was truly so cruel, he would’ve been imprisoned by the Empire on the request of his own kin. So while rumors were all you had, you couldn’t depend on them.
The Duke, however, wasn’t your concern. The crown prince was, and there wasn’t much to be said about him, good or ill. Your Uncle knew only good things concerning him, as his friend, the King of Goa, was not like to speak ill of his heir no matter what.
It was likely that your Uncle was aware of some flaw or failing within Goa’s crown prince and had no intention of handing over his daughter - regardless of the political power that could be gained from it. Otherwise he would’ve sent you with her, as her lady-in-waiting, and had you assure her health and well-being until she was married to the prince.
But, you knew you were effectively a sacrifice from the beginning, and truths among Kingdoms was finicky at best. You’d have to verify things before you could earnestly believe anything, but leaning back and observing were things you were well-practiced in.

Oda packing the punches: Chapter 1086 spoilers
Okay, I'm not doing a long one like last week, but heaps to take in, and I adore the idea of all of the notorious, prestigious and sought after stowaways on the ships leaving the Marie Geoise shores.
The ones from the new world must do so with World Government (Marine) assistances, right?
And Tajine Kingdom (Bonney stowed away on their ship) and St. Aegis kingdom (Walpol and Vivi stowed away on theirs) were World Government member nations, and both rebelled. I wonder why.
My main reason for being here, though is:
Tumblr media
this!!!!!! 👆
Look at our bow-legged bird, even in seraphim form. Crocodile's beauty is as glassy-eyed (sad-eyed, dead-eyed?) as Boa Hancock's and Mihawk's, and Moria's looking pretty good too.
So, the seraphim are being employed to basically destroy their makers (the original Hancock, Mihawk, etc.—not that we've seen a Mihawk/S-Mihawk fight yet). There has to be a Trafalgar Law one. Oda wouldn't pass up the opportunity, I think. Although, if it will convolute the story, that one might be left to us fan-fiction writers.
Lots of other stuff. Massive catch up, lore drops. The destruction of Lulusia seems to parallel Marshall Island Atoll nuclear tests or Maralinga in the centre of Australia, or so many others, and more linearly (time-wise) the U.S. government's nuclear testing in New Mexico before the ultimate bombing of Hiroshima and Nagasaki. Robin has apparently told the revs:
Tumblr media
that the ancient weapons exist (as Ivankov lets us know above).
And more parallels here with the Einstein / Vegapunk thing, and what their research can be harnessed for, or what they might directly contribute to without and possibly with knowing the consequences.
Iva suspects that the attack has nothing to do with Vegapunk (although maybe I misread the panel—it seemed that Imu thought it was Vegapunk's work, but Imu might've been referring to the seraphim).
Iva suspects that Imu is
Tumblr media
Imu of House Nerona (one of the original founders of the Celestial Dragons / Word Government / Mary Geoise), so, from the void century and granted eternal youth through the ope ope no mi, although the fruit is not mentioned by name. Whether the revs' don't know it's granted from a fruit, or whether they're playing coy, is not apparent. It seems the former.
As a founder, they (Imu) could possibly have knowledge of the ancient weapons.
So, as an aside, considering the original granter of the eternal fruit would have died as per their fruit's power (Lili?) then there must be more people around with eternal youth too, right?, because others would have consumed the fruit, and 800 years is a long time.
Anyway, briefly onto Lili; if she had the ope ope no mi, she could've shambled the poneglyphs the world over as a very awakened form of the fruit, and maybe granting Imu eternal youth is what caused her death. I don't think that's my idea. I probably read it somewhere, but I can't recall where.
For the above, I love that Robin's dropping massive intel into the Revolutionary Army's lap.
Seems that Sabo will be a D. too, from this statement below 👇 . I'd prefer he wasn't, but, whatever!
Tumblr media
Sabo is definitely surrounded by them! And that 'checkered fate' line is used a lot. I know there are a few translations on it.
Lastly, and it's not only the last (like, for instance, Walpol won't tell Vivi about her Father, CPO are running around with pictures of Vivi and Sabo to folks in Mary Geoise, Sterry (Sabo's brother) doing a Sanji when sighting Vivi's picture, and Big News Morgans filling the reader in on how he managed to pick up Walpol and Vivi (we suppose)): BUT possibly one of the biggest pieces of news is:
Tumblr media
that Saint Donquixote Mosgard will be executed due to protecting Shirahoshi 👆 , thereby running parallels with Homing, except that Mosgard was effective with his compassion, but will also pay with his life, as did Donquixote Rosinante (and his father). And
The person tasked with the execution is the former king of God Valley, and I know there's a lot of Rocks D. Xebec info about God Valley that's basically all over my head at present (will read up on it later, or read someone else's meta).
But as importantly, or maybe more importantly, is this guy's name: Saint Figarland Garling. Shanks, was stated by the Gorosei in Film Red (although I missed this section, or forgot it) as coming from the Figarland family (he was discovered in a box that the Roger Pirates stole during the God Valley Incident).
Ahahahah. I love all the influences though: Good Donquixotes, and then Donquixote Doflamingo. Entitled Figarlands, and then good Shanks, or maybe not... (I believe he's good, but Oda always turns the tables on me, and everything's grey, even when characters have positive aspects).
So, yeah—there's a ton of stuff. Go have a read or wait for the official, but the scans gave the elders their names, so I'll just drop that too, and a translators' note that was interesting:
Tumblr media
Read below for their processes in naming:
Tumblr media
Okay as said, I didn't cover everything, but ALSO, look at this gorgeous cover (Oda can't be ignorant that it's pride month)
Tumblr media
I love the little frog. It's a reader's request: Chopper and a kitty crossing the reflection of a rainbow they see in a puddle. Cute! The reflections look great too.
Also, don't forget this guy:

The most chilling part of the chapter was that Lulusia Kingdom was not chosen because of the rebellion or because Sabo was there. It was chosen simply because it was close by.

I like how the anime shows the people in the Kingdom of Lulusia before and during the attack. I think it really emphasizes the human element that the WG is so callously erasing that I don't remember in the manga.
I'll have to go back and compare.

Ok so I've already posed one theory about the great kingdom being underwater, but I discovered an interesting tidbit in lulusia's wikia page that is making me form another:
Tumblr media
This makes me think of a possibility that whatever weapon (uranus maybe) was used to destroy lulusia also destroyed the main island of the great kingdom and the crater that was left is where enies lobby now is. It's historically a pretty common tactic for the victor of a war or battle to place something like a statue or a building over an area that was significant to the ones defeated. And it certainly sends a very big message to put the new government's judicial island at the spot of their defeated enemies whom they "served justice" on. It serves both as a symbol of good vs evil in favor of the world govt and as a warning to the allies of the great kingdom.
And if this weapon is uranus, it could be the reason why the shipwrights of water 7 decided to pass down pluton's blueprints, because an ancient weapon had already fallen and was used in the wrong hands, so they needed a contingency plan in case it happened to another.

One Piece chapter 1089 spoilers ahead...
So. God Valley was definitely where Enies Lobby was, right? Just look at the hole the weapon that hit Lulusia left. It's exactly like Enies Lobby. Lulusia is no more and whatever hit it, I don't think it was something Vegapunk did. Whatever it was, it's much, much older.
I'm not going to say it was a devine weapon but...maybe. Either that or lost tech from the Ancient Kingdom. Probably that. I mean. At this poit it's basically onfirmed that Imu had a user of the Ope Ope no Mi give them eternal youth/functional inmortality and that he's been alive since the war with the Ancient Kingdom so it's no wonder he'd taken a weapon from them (like a trophy of sorts) and he kept it with him all this time and the only reason he didn't use it much was because it's in poor condition.
Imu and the 5 Elders probably knew way back that Vegapunk was researching the lost century, but wanted him to successfully recreate the eternal flame before getting rid of him.

That Hole Looks Eerily Similar To Enies Lobby

I don’t think it’s a coincidence and that something similar to Mother Flame made Enies Lobby. But then again Enies Lobby still has a standing piece of land unlike what is left of Lulusia Kingdom.

One Piece Chapter 1089 - Initial Thoughts
Tumblr media
It has been months
We've had awesome side quests and painstaking breaks, but now we return to Egghead for the Egghead Island Arc. Though at this rate we may just need to rename this the 'Incidents Arc' considering it's one incident after the other.
Still, we miss our sillies, so let's not wait any longer
Spoilers for the Chapter, Support the Official Release
Nami is savage for the cover page, 'no thanks I already saw the stars' XD
I didn't even notice Sanji in the window the first time around
To recap though before we get to the chapter; Luffy and Lucci are fighting S-Bear, Bonney is going through Kuma's memory bubble, Shaka and Pythagoras are dead, Usopp and Lilith are stoned by S-Snake, Franky is partly stoned and chasing after S-Snake, Nami, Brook, Edison and Sanji are fighting S-Shark, Jinbe and Stussy are in the weapons area, Robin, Chopper and Atlas are exploring the organ regrowth area, S-Hawk is pursuing weaker targets but is being pursued by Zoro and Kaku, and Vegapunk is in the prison with the kidnapped CP agents next to Shaka's dead body and York. Sentomaru is rounding up Mark IIIs against the remaining CP forces in the main island, while most of the navy are outside with Kizaru and Jay Garcia Saturn. All goods? Let's gooooooo!
Starting at Foosha with the headlines involving Garp
Oda once again repeating our thoughts pointing out that MIA does not equal dead
Even iconic mayor Woop Slap isn't worried
But jail for iconic mayor Woop Slap for accidentally yelling at Makino's baby
Does Makino's baby have a distinct laugh? TCB reads it as kya ha ha but that's mainly women or Dellinger and I doubt either are the daddy. Then again did we ever confirm that Makino's baby was even a boy?
They apparently recognize Luffy from the papers though, I wonder if there's something instinctual *nonchalantly pushes ShanksxMakino agenda*
Also Makino calling Luffy 'Big Bro Luffy' to her child because dammit she raised those boys too!
Final mention because I have to soak in every moment of happy Makino I can because she is lovely and I will not take any slander towards her
Dadan is tearful though, I mean Morgans has painted Luffy as a kidnapper and now Garp's MIA, she has gone through the ringer
Hold up is that Fake Nami?
Earthquakes and Tsunamis across all four blues, these poor civilians
Laboon!
Iceburg, Tilestone and Pepe Lulu too? Oh god Water Seven don't need another Aqua Laguna
Hina and Momonosuke are noticing it too
Oh this is because of Lulusia
Wow...what a hole...kinda feels familiar doesn't it?
Vegapunk's tech is based off of Ancient Kingdom tech, so what if the Mother Frame is the same? What if Enies Lobby was the original Lulusia
Oh and the Sea Level has risen 1m, that's not great
Oda's tackling Global Warming
The World Government just fucked up the entire planet, drowned and displaced several millions people, and wiped out an entire nation just to test a fancy superweapon
Beaches gone, so no Okamas can chase Sanji across it, Top Gun cadets can't play volleyball, the Seychelles gone!
And god damn if you flood Foosha and any harm comes to Makino there will be fisticuffs
Also I fear very much that the World Government will blame the Fish-Men for the flooding
Plus if Wano ever opens its borders that water level is gonna rise even more
The fleet at Egghead notice it too
'More than enough firepower to put a buster call to shame'
1 in five ships are warships (20 out of 100), 30K marines, 9 Vice Admirals and Kizaru
Some of the vice admirals look familiar; Doll of course but I'm pretty sure on her left is Doberman, the bottom right could be Strawberry, wouldn't rule out one of them being a Giant either
The latter still chatting with Sentomaru, feasting on oodles of noodles, despite on different sides, as Sentomaru reprimands attacking the sea beasts and for wanting to kill Vegapunk
Kizaru still is very much an 'orders are orders' guy, in spite of the brief panel of him hanging out with the two
It's true though that everything in this incident is a net loss to the WG, but they also confirm with Sentomaru that CP0 failed
Saturn is still here keeping his presence under wraps
He at least approves of Morgans' headline, while getting the true facts
Oda's back at it with the silly doodle faces and the map levels
The Navy are pretty in the dark though; they still think all the Punks are alive, and that they are using the Seraphim
10 Members so far *sighs longingly at Carrot4Nakama agenda, before sifting to ViviReturns2Nakama agenda*
Even had to do a doodle of Hattori the Pigeon
Concerned with them highlighting that the Dome is at 100% gotta watch the numbers
Saturn is weird though; he hears that the Egghead researchers and citizens are accounted for and he goes 'sink them' but he hears that Bonney is on the island and goes 'ah, we have no use for her, but she's just a little girl so leave her be' like dude what?
Someone's calling Marejois from Egghead
One of the Navy members reminding Kizaru that he can listen in on the call with the Black snail on his wrist that's been there since his debut
York has made the call, and naturally is annoyed why the WG intended to kill her too
I mean the Gorosei do have that loophole: they want Vegapunk dead and York is a Vegapunk, though York does point out that if they had any interest in the Void Century they wouldn't have sold the others out
After citing the Seraphim as the reason for her survival, conversation turns to the massive fleet
Ju Peter however goes into the goods; they wanna know if York can replicate the Mother Frame
Does that mean that it's a one-time thing or are we doing scorched Earth?
York can, it's requested by 'someone' likely Im, their workplace is in Egghead
York introduces the terms of the new deal; no touching the lab, and the celestial dragon deal is still on, but also one more thing: save her from Luffy
Ah the crew are all here!
York has been conversing under threat of blade
Nami's packing heat and gets it, Luffy's packing meat and gets nothing XD
Usopp - looking cool with the anime shades flash - and Franky are quite unstoned as well, plus Vegapunk and Bonney's here, and Lucci seething at the back
Strange though, no Kaku, no Stussy, no Lilith, no Edison, no Atlas, no Seraphim, also no Caribou but we never know where he is...guess the spread's not big enough for them but most egregiously NO ROBIN!?
Oda, sir, we need to talk about your breaks, we just came back from 5 weeks of breaks spread between 2 chapters and now another break? Thought the eye surgery was supposed to alleviate this
Well we got our sillies back: for one whole panel XD
It was a really good chapter still, but it's more one that makes me concerned for the rest of the world; we've got two gaping holes in the ocean that have fucked up the natural world, islands have sank, earthquakes and tsunamis are happening all across the world. I wonder if Aqua Laguna was caused by the hole that made Enies Lobby if this is what happened to it. I think what makes me most sad about it is that it cannot be undone, at least not in a way that won't further fuck something else up, the only caveat is that the quakes probably will affect the Red Line's structural integrity.
This does still feel like the calm before the storm, but it also seems that the game of Among Us has resolved off-screen, so I hope next chapter(s) we track back to that first before continuing with this Siege on Egghead. An important note is that Kizaru's been listening in on the conversation, so he has more context to go by.
Also, forgot to mention on posting, this is the first time the Straw Hats have interaction with the Gorosei, they know their voices now, they know their intentions, that's a big deal.
But yeah, another break kinda sucks given that we just came back from one, plus it means more waiting -_- the only plus side is that this final saga will last longer - though who really believed Oda when he said 5 years back in like 2021-22?
1090 is next though, and Oda likes round numbers so expectations are high.
