I just realized most of my life is about fanart right now. I'm an arthistorian with specialty in christian art of the middle ages (focus on the 15th century) aka religion fanart and the hobby I spent most time with is drawing One Piece fanart.

To answer your question:
He would have probably manipulated him into being his little child assassin. Making him the brother he always wanted, in his own eyes: the brother he deserved. If Doffy won in Dress Rosa and Law and the Strawhats would make it out alive, he would have probably trained Rosi first and then sent him after Law just for his own amusement.
So, let's be happy it didn't go that way 😅 I wouldn't want to draw that. 😂

In the Seraphim!Rosi AU, is little Rosi the reason for part of a limb being replaced with a green tube? Because they couldn't get him to have Doffy's Devil Fruit powers and figured that the green tube was a needed step because of that? And just never considered that they didn't have a Doffy clone?
Well, the real answer to this is that Rosi doesn't have it because when I started the series the Anime wasn't at that point and in Manga they don't have it (or I overlooked it).
But yeah if I ever draw to a point where it's relevant I would explain it that Rosi was the first prototype and more a real child and after him they realized they have to "take the humanity away". It didn't work completely (look at Hancock) but the perfected ones are more robot like.
So yes, in a sense. But it was less just the DF and more Rosis "weakness" in general.

I sent my boyfriend a link to the fanfiction I'm working on right now because I talk about it a lot so he can, if he wants, have context. This man has never read a fanfiction in his life, but started reading it.
First thing he said to me was: "should I correct the grammar mistakes?"
Dude. I know you mean it nice but this was brutal. 💀
Like, english is not my first language and the last longer text I wrote in english before the fic was in school in 2017. Since then I only wrote esseys for uni in german.
I love this guy but man, that was brutal.
