OKAY GUYS IGNORE ME JUST ABSOLUTELY SIMPING FOR AN OC
(this OC happens to be morgan from @love-toxin who i do not know how they feel about people writing about their OCs so.....)
Tumblr media
TW: yandere themes, kidnapping, dark ass shit, non-con(?), punishment system, blind yandere, darling may become disabled?
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Pain, all you felt was pain that eclipsed all thoughts in a thick jolting wave
"hmm? have you learned your lesson?" He asked as you violently shook on his soft carpeted floor, trying to make words out but they were cut short by a small shock "okay i guess..." you heard his soft footsteps reach the kitchen to grab an unknown item that was quickly revealed as your wrists were wrapped tightly with zip ties and you were carried bridal style to his bed. Being dropped suddenly on it and tucked in "we have work to do darling"
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
You sat with the thick blindfold over your eyes, reaching out for morgan touch to no avail as you were unable to even know whether he was sitting just out of your reach or in the arcade working
You nearly made it out of his apartment the other day, He was pissed when he found you on the last lock of his door

Out of the Pan, Into the Fire
Pairing: Yandere Elias x reader, Yandere Harley x reader
Prompt: sometimes you just have to write something, even if only you enjoy it. this is one of those pieces.
Description: You loved your job as a host, even if you do occasionally have to deal with some of humanity’s finest. It’s a shame then, that this particular Sunday night, things didn’t go your way.
Rating: sfw
Content Warning: Yandere, stalking, Elias being his usually scumbag self, kidnapping (ask to tag if I missed something)
Word Count: 3216
Notes: Sorry Ellie @love-toxin, I'm condensing my blogs and reposting this, so I'll have to tag you again for your boys!
Tumblr media
It use to be you didn’t mind working Sunday nights. The crowd in the historical district of town was a lot more tame compared to Friday or Saturday before it, and usually your towns football team was playing; people would rather be on the other side of town, watching them, or in their own homes. It made the combination bar/restaurant you worked at far more manageable. Plus, it was your last day of work before you got your ‘weekend’. You closed with your favorite manager, too, and he always tried to get you out of there at a decent time. Recently, however, things have ruined it for you.
Well, things is a nice way to put it. “It” was a new regular you got at the bar-- a man who introduced himself as one Elias Norwood. Honestly, just looking at his pretty face made your mood sour. He was always too friendly with you, trying too hard to corner you in your little host stand with more than polite conversation. Your managers are aware of him, of course, and your bartender is always sure to keep an eye on him as he drinks (choosing on of the bar stools, of course, that he could watch you from) but since he’s never done anything outright besides make you feel uncomfortable, there’s not much that can be done. You can tell he enjoys making you feel uncomfortable, smirking as you look away from him and lead some clueless couple to their seat, far away from him.
This Sunday, frankly, couldn’t be worse. It was cold, blisteringly so. Between the old doors liking to stick open and welcome in the cold, and the unusual amount of people here to watch the game (you hadn’t even noticed but the local football team was close to heading to the super bowl or something?), and the amount of work your manager had to do, you were stuck here for a minute. Above all that, you hadn’t even noticed Elias slip into the restaurant until you returned to the host stand to find him casually leaning against your back wall-- smiling all the way. You jump back a step, hand over your heart in surprise, because the bastard has your phone in his hand as well, humming as if he isn’t trying to violate your privacy right then and there.
“H-hey!” Its all your can sputter out in the shock of that moment. Logically, you know he hasn’t gotten past your phones lock, but the image of him boredly pretending to scroll through your phone manages to defeat any logic you may of once had.
“Well, fancy seein’ you darlin.” He looks up from your phone, lazy smirk on his face.
“What do you think you’re doing?” You would take a step towards him, yank your phone from his grasp, but of course that what he wants. You take a deep breath. You would be out of here soon-- your manager was counting your drawer right now. You were literal minutes away from walking away from this.
“Well, I thought I would do you a favor and put my number in for you, in case you finally wanted to take me up on my offer, but you got this darn lock on your phone.” He clicks his tongue, finally meeting your gaze with mischievous, golden eyes. “Lucky for you then, I just took a picture and wrote out my number for you.” he turns off your phone, before placing back on your desk. “Just thought I’d say hello to my favorite little hostess before I asked to be seated.” You quickly grab your phone and pocket it, frowning at him.
“I’m cut, and you know the kitchen is closed. I don’t care where you sit.” You really aren’t in the mood to play games, especially with him. You just had to wait for your roommate to come and get you, over at the very bright, and populated, 24 hour grocer.
“Aww but you know I’d follow you anywhere sweetheart.” You sigh, clench your fists and close your eyes for a moment. You were almost done. Almost. You just had to deal with Elias for a bit longer. You open your eyes again, and just decide to treat Elias like he was any old person, and not a man far too interested in you.
“Okay! So just one then?” The obvious change in your tone catches him off guard but you’re speaking again. “Well, okay, did you want a table, a booth…?” He does a one over of the restaurant, before smirking.
“I’ll take a booth, if you have one.” You don’t even have a your tablet right now-- its already been handed over to the bartender for the evening. So, you take a look at the booths and, of course, the only one open is booth 1-- the one right behind the host stand. No one else had wanted to sit there for most the evening for fear of the cold…
“Right.” You’re impressed with yourself you didn’t even sigh. From the corner of your eye, you can see your closing manager and the last server talking-- looking your way. At least they had your back. “In that case, have a seat right here, sir!” You gesture to the booth, and move out of his way so he could sit there. Elias does so, smirking all the while. “The kitchens last call is at 8:55, so if you’re hungry order quick! I hope you enjoy.” You promptly turn to face your manager as he walks up and see that your coworker is talking to Elias, distracting him from you. You’re so thankful.
“Hey! Your drawer looks good, so feel free to head out of here.” He casts a glance to Elias, frown fitting his face for a moment before turning back to you. “Will you be okay?” You’re already clocking out as he talks to you.
“I’ll be fine.” You take the little receipt with your hours and shove it into your pocket, eagerly pulling on your winter coat. You don’t even have it zipped up and you grab your purse and move towards the front door. “My ride is on the way. Bye!” You practically run out the door, making sure you were far from any line of sight of the restaurant before zipping up your jacket.
Once free, you sigh and shake your head. Elias was really getting out of hand… sure, in the past he was annoying, and his staring made your uncomfortable but this was the first time you felt scared of him. Even now, your heart was still pounding. You look over your shoulder to make sure he hasn’t left the restaurant yet, before shaking your head and continuing on your way to the grocery store. Elias was creepy, sure, but he wasn’t a stalker, right…? At this point, you could only hope so. Your house was at least a 15-20 minute ride from your work. All that time, alone… it made you shiver. Finally, your rounded the corner from the street of your work. Even if he did leave now, he wouldn’t know which way you went. Trusting that, you moved forward, thinking to grab yourself something to eat while you wasted time waiting for your roommate.
You pulled out your phone to text them, only to unlock it and see the picture Elias left. Sure enough, while you were in the back seating someone, he took a picture of himself, and used the draw tool to write his number up the side of it. You had half a mind to delete it but stopped. If an incident did happen with him… it would be nice to have a picture to send to your friends and family. Closing the app, you groaned seeing your phone had hardly 4%-- you quickly sent your roommate a text saying you were off and telling them your phone was about to die. They would know to pick you up from there, even if communication got cut.
The next 10 or so minutes were the most peaceful you had all evening. Even if your feet were sore, you took solace in walking up and down the brightly lit, sparsely populated store. You grabbed a few things for dinner, paid for them, and walked slowly to the exit. You were hesitant to leave the store, not only because of the cold, but because there were no lights in this parking lot. You could see for the most part thanks to all the other stores and being at least kinda inside the city, but it was still scary. That, and Elias could be out there. You didn’t know that for sure, though. You couldn’t see his car (there were kinda a lot, though) and you’re sure he didn’t follow you, but still…
“Oh, I’m sorry,” You stumble back and nearly trip as you run into someone. They’re taller than you so you’re unsure how you missed them. “I wasn’t looking where I was going…” You shuffle back a bit more once you get a proper look at the man you bumped into. He was big- at least a full head taller than you, and built in a way that he didn’t even budge when you ran into him. Even in the winter, hi skin looked tanned and warm, and his long hair did nothing to hide his displeased look.
“Just be more careful next time.” Its more grumbled out than anything but you get the feeling that he doesn’t mean it past the surface.
“I will.” You smile at him. “I’m just… waiting for a friend to show up, that’s all.” You sigh a little as he gives you this weird look and continue speaking. “This weird guy at work was harassing me, so I’m trying to lay low. Well, and keep warm.” You chuckle a bit at that.
“… I could wait with you.” Your surprised by his kindness. “If your friend is taking a while.”
“Ahh, I mean, I wouldn’t want to impose on you.” Your cheeks flush. “I’m not even sure if this guy is actually following…” You pause as you see what you think is his car, out in the back of the parking lot. You could be imagining things, of course, but the way your heartbeat picks up is far from fake.
“Hey.” A large hand is placed on your shoulder. You look back to the man, who seems to be struggling to find the right words. At this point, you wonder who feels more awkward. “Just… let me help you.” You aren’t sure what’s made him extend this kindness to you but maybe, for once, something was going your way.
“...Okay, thank you. I’m _____, by the way.” You introduce yourself as you fall into step with him, sure to stay close to him and keep an eye on the suspicious car. It wouldn’t hurt to make him think you knew this man, who certainly looked like he could take care of himself, you, and Elias if need be.
“Harley,” He introduces himself as. You walk silently for a moment, over to an older truck. You can’t name the brand of it, but you can recognize the wear and tear on it to tell that Harley probably lives out of town. You wonder, silently, what brought him here tonight. He doesn’t offer much in the way of conversation as he welcomes you into his truck and turns the heat up. From where he’s parked, you have a perfect view of the suspicious car and the spot you would usually wait for your roommate.
“...thank you for doing this for me. Not many people would go out on a limb like that.” He just huffs at you.
“Doubt you could do much damage to me. It’s no bother.” He’s looking the same direction you are, eyes glaring at something.
“Yeah but, still. I was a stranger to you.” You fiddle with the zipper of your coat, looking down a moment. When he gives no response you stop a moment, unsure what to say or do. “That weird guy I was talking about, Elias, bothers me at work.” You sigh. “I host at a restaurant bar combination, and he started coming in a few weeks ago. At first he was just sweet but well… he quickly crossed the line from ‘polite compliments’ to ‘borderline work harassment’”. You shake your head with a heavy sigh. “Even tonight, he totally crossed a line. That’s why I was afraid of him following me, he just…” You pause, trying to find the right words. “Something just seemed different with him tonight, and I guess that scared me.” You aren’t completely sure why you’ve just opened up to Harley like that unprompted, but the information only seemed to make him upset. When you look up from your lap you can only gasp. The car you had been watching moves from where its sat, going to either leave the parking lot. You get a clear view of it as it comes closer and its all you can do to hide in the room by your feet. “Oh my god that’s him!”
“No shit?” Harley growls. “Bastard can’t keep his hands to himself…” You don’t really care to know what Harley is mumbling about as you hide from view. Over the engine of the car you hear the doors lock. “We’re getting out of here. Sit up and put your seat belt on.” His tone is demanding and frankly, who are you to be questioning him? He still kind of scares you but all things considered, you’ve decided that where ever Harley takes you, it will be away from Elias and that’s about all you can ask for at this point. You think to text your roommate all that has gone down since your last text but find your phone finally dead. Harley peels out of the parking lot, heading the opposite direction of your house.
You’re silent as everything washes over you. Elias followed you there, or at least knows that’s where you go after work to wait for a ride. Was this the first time he had come looking for you? Or had he watched you before? What was he planning to do if he found you? Tears well in your eyes as you think about it, but you will them not to fall.
“He… he actually followed me.” You hardly even realize you’re saying the words. “What was he going to do to me…?” You clutch at your phone uselessly. Harley has just stopped responding at this point, driving with an anger on his face you don’t care to look at. “D-did he want to hurt me?” Sobs finally hit you. Did he finally get mad at all your rejection, was this his breaking point?
“Stop crying,” Harley doesn’t take his eyes off the road but his voice has an edge to it that has you stopping. You don’t want that anger directed towards you, ever. “I’m taking you somewhere he can’t hurt you.”
“H-he was going to hurt me?” At a red light, Harley finally takes a moment to look at you. You’re shaking, tears lining your eyes as you try to stop your bottom lip from quivering. Its sight enough to get him to bite his lip as he looks back to the road.
“Or worse.” He hits the gas as the light turns green. “He’s scum of the earth.” In this state, you don’t even question how Harley knows Elias. But with the conviction he speaks, you believe him. He doesn’t say much else about him but you don’t want him too.
“I… my roommate is going to be worried about me.” You show off your useless phone to Harley. “It’s dead. I can’t tell anyone where I’ll be.”
“You won’t need that.” You don’t like the tone of his voice, and you especially don’t care for the way the city streetlights are fading, leading out to the outskirts and beyond. “I’ll protect you from him.” His words play funny in your stomach and the familiar feeling of anxiety starts to take you.
“...Harley, where are you taking me?” You pass the last gas station of the city limits, turning off into a country road that doesn’t even show up on maps anymore.
“Home.” Is all he says. Even if the doors weren’t locked, he’s going too fast for you to even think about leaving his truck. A sinking feeling hits you as you realize the gravity of your situation.
“This isn’t my home…” You offer weakly, watching as rolling fields and fences pass by in the dark.
“It is now.” Again, he speaks in the tone that offers no recourse. You just sit in the silence that follows, cursing yourself for being so trusting of a complete stranger. As you continue moving along in the night, you wonder idly, if going with Elias would be as bad as this—whatever Harley has planned for you now. Now more than ever you want to cry but already having a taste of Harley’s anger makes you ball it up and take deep breaths to keep from crying.
Eventually, the console reads 10:17. You’re at least an hour out from town if the clock on it is right (you don’t want to dream it’s later). Harley pulls up to a farm, with hardly any lights on save for his headlights. In the dark, you can make out some shapes but it’s hard to tell. You stay there, limp as he gets out of his side of the car. He comes around to yours, and opens it, looking at you expectantly.
“...Why me?” Its all you can ask as you look him in the eyes. He’s frowning and for a long moment, it seems like you’re not going to get an answer.
“...Can’t let Elias have you.” Is all he says. Somehow, you know the answer would be unsatisfactory.
“So its okay for you to take me away instead?” You can tell your words have made him mad as he yanks you by your forearm out of the truck. Much like how you met, you stumble unceremoniously into his chest. Harley doesn’t give you an answer at all as you’re practically dragged into his house. Everything about it is too wrong for what this is-- too warm, too comforting, too homely. You don’t even have it in you to take off the thick winter coat you had put on before you left your apartment that afternoon, so with a sigh, Harley does that as well, hanging it up beside his own coat. He goes to remove your winter boots as well but you stop him, and do it yourself. You allow him to lead you to a room upstairs and just look at him as he stands there.
“…Sleep. Work starts before the sun gets up.” You simply sit on the edge of the bed, nodding as he leaves the room, closing the door behind him. You don’t hear the click of a lock but you do hear the old stairs creek as he descends downstairs for who knows what. When you’re finally alone, in a vaguely cold, unfamiliar room, your tears finally fall.

When people say “Jason wouldn’t smoke because he died of smoke inhalation” I respectfully have to disagree, because if there’s one thing Jason is going to do he’s going to take aspects of his trauma and use them for himself and push on them like a bruise (he takes the name red hood, he uses explosives and guns, the crowbars were lame but they weren’t out of character), so I don’t think that would stop him from smoking. The way I see it I think Jason would be one of those people who occasionally smokes a cigarette when things are Particularly Bad, even though they swear they stopped smoking, like a maladaptive coping mechanism basically

Lady Echo: A Character Analysis
Before we dive in, there's something about me you should know. I'm a TV Tropes truther. That site is my Bible. If a piece of media interests me, then you'd better believe I have visited its TV Tropes page.
And because of that, Echo in particular is a character I've been meaning to talk about for a while now, because I get the feeling people tend to overlook what I feel is the true core of her character at the end of season 3.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
As you can see, while other tropes go more into detail about her true motivations behind betraying Oropo, that part of her character ends up being reduced to being a Woman Scorned, and while that certainly applies here, I really don't think that's the trope that best encapsulates her character and her decisions at the end of the season.
A Woman Scorned is essentially any woman who has been wronged by the person she loves and seeks revenge or has at least expressed great anger. And it can go from being cheated on by a partner, or simply being rejected by their love interest and not taking it well. And both heroic and villainous characters can be the ones to break her heart. In fact, Arpagone too would be an example of this trope, as even if her feelings for Ruel are still there, most of her actions are motivated by the pain she feels for his decision to choose money over her.
Tumblr media
As you can see, this all fits with Echo's actions and feelings at the end of season 3, but it's very general overall. Which is why, in my humble opinion, Echo is a better example of Love Forgives All but Lust.
This trope is essentially a deconstruction of tropes centred around the appeal bad boys have for women. The thing about women falling for bad boys is that those women tend to know they're bad news, and beyond a desire to be the ones to change them, the real reason that interest is born is because they're attracted to the idea of the bad boy being a jerk to everyone, but them. Love Forgives All but Lust is what happens when the woman is rudely awakened from that delusion.
In other words, when they realise not even they are safe from their partner's worst actions. And what is the best way to have a woman feel betrayed to the point of seeking revenge? Unfaithfulness.
Sure, they will forgive their partner if it turns out he's a serial killer, but if he cheats? Then he's the one who's dead.
And example of Love Forgives All but Lust is when the police is trying to get a mafioso's wife/girlfriend to testify against her lover, but she refuses to cooperate... until she discovers her husband/boyfriend has a lover, then she'll do everything to bring him down.
If you think about it, this is essentially what happened between Echo and Oropo after he revealed he only ever "loved" Amalia. Even if Echo is a much more active player in Oropo's machinations than simply being aware of them, having helped him carry over his plans for centuries as his second-in-command.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
After he kissed Amalia and claimed Echo never meant anything to him compared to her, that's when Echo totally lost it. And her subsequent actions are a direct result of his betrayal. It never had anything to do with Echo seeing the error of her ways, as we all know.
Think about it, it wasn't until Oropo chose Amalia over her, after everything they had ever been through, that Echo truly struck. Once it became apparent her lover didn't care for her nearly as much as she cared for him, that's when Echo revealed his true plans: to destroy the gods, he must destroy the World of Twelve and deprive them of followers. In other words, he was willing to commit mass genocide for the sake of his dream.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Moreoever, the fact that she got to reveal the true extent of his plans at all already highlights that only she knew about them. All along, Echo knew what Oropo was planning, the consequences of his dreams, and she never once stopped believing in his cause. Their conversation in episode 6 even going as far as explaining Echo already believed in him and supported his dreams before ever falling for him, meaning she can't even excuse her actions by saying her feelings blinded her. Because she was perfectly aware of Oropo's plans all along.
And yet, that didn't stop her from loving him. If anything, it was only another reason she fell in love with him.
No, it wasn't until Oropo broke her heart that she ever went against him.
If you ask me, this all reads as Echo not minding Oropo's most questionable tendencies because she was convinced she was exempt from ever being at the receiving end of his worst actions. After all, she had been by his side the longest, witnessing how he got rid of demigods that failed to meet his standards or were no longer useful (going with what the show claims, I haven't read Ogrest's manga). It wasn't until he kissed Amalia and shoved her aside that Echo realised not even she was safe from him.
And it was because Oropo had had no qualms to screw her over that Echo decided it was her turn to screw him over. And hence, she revealed his plans to the Brotherhood of the Forgotten, not because she'd seen the error of her ways, but because Oropo had hurt her and she wanted to make him bleed in turn.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
In the end, Echo's actions weren't fuelled solely by revenge or even jealousy, they were fuelled by the bitter realisation that she never meant as much to Oropo as he meant to her. It was about realising he had no qualms hurting her, not about how he had no qualms hurting anyone else.
It was about Echo not being enough for Oropo.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
And for me, that's why Echo is a better example of Love Forgives All but Lust.

DCxDP: Dead guys stick together
(A Batman 138 fix-it)
After Bizarro becomes King of Hell he watches the mortal world and is distraught to find that his brother/best friend/sorta father-figure has been hurt very badly and is calling out for help.
Distraught, he goes to another lord of the netherworld who he's heard has access to a portal (and subjects a bit more compatible with the act of helping someone). He asks King Phantom would he please please help him protect his brother/friend, and if he does Bizarro will owe him a favor and leave his realm alone.
When the inferno had initially breached the Ghost Zone Danny had thought he was going to have to deal with f*cking Trigon again, but as it turns out that guy's been replaced and the new guy is pretty nice. After a brief cosmic battle and a clearing of misunderstandings, Danny agrees to Bizarro’s request.
While Gotham's vigilante civil war continues on its rooftops, Jason is in a cell. He is trembling, practically catatonic again, and losing his mind. He’s seeing the flaming figure of a knight on horseback appear from the shadowy far wall of his room, like some kind of fairytale nightmare version of Batman. It takes a while for Jason to realize he’s talking.
“... part of the treaty between the King of Ghosts and King of Demons, Jason Todd: Prince of Demons has been granted special status and is henceforth a protected and honorary citizen of the Infinite Realms.”
Nightmare-Bruce touches his flaming sword on Jason’s shoulder and the unearthly fire instantly engulfs him. Relief washes through Jason, and it’s so strong he nearly drops asleep.
Bruce is apologetic when everything’s over and he realizes the mistakes he’s made... but nothing really changes. (It is a relief to Bruce that no one died or was permanently injured, Jason's condition resolved itself somehow, and Bruce is normal now so really everything is fixed or at least it will be fixed.)
Just like when Jason first came back from the dead, Bruce's response makes him hurt deeper than the physical torture itself. Jason is the one who died but Bruce acts like the ghost. Singleminded, possessive, stuck in time and blind to it; bound to repeat the same cycles again and again. Jason is the ghost but he's died multiple times now, and maybe that's kind of like living and maybe that means he can move on.
Dani and Bizarro become friends, and she gets Danny's friend Tucker to somehow set up a working Wi-Fi connection in hell so they can all play games together. (He’s not going to question it. Everything about Amity Park is abnormal. They helped him and they’re good to Bizarro, that’s all that matters.)
Jason forges a fake identity for Dani. He might ask Babs to make a better one for her if she ever needs it but he doubts that's likely. He hasn’t had a living identity for years now after all, he’s an old hand at fake identities. Dani is delighted and starts attending school soon after.
Danny has good friends, and as far as Jason can tell plenty of reliable mentors in the ghost world. You wouldn’t think it, but Jason’s less worried about Danny in his role as a little godling than in his civilian life. He’s got too much on his plate- too much power yet not enough to actually resolve his real issues. Not enough to protect himself where he’s vulnerable.
The “Guys in White” that Danny likes to complain about are concerning. So is the fact that Danny’s lives with mad-scientist parents who are trying to hunt down his alternate identity. So is his ever grinding cold-war with the mayor of his town… And something else too that had been niggling at the back of Jason’s mind ever since he’d first gotten to talk to these kids.
One day Danny’s sister, Jazz asks to talk to him. He’s an adult she says. That’s true he replies. He’s capable of protecting himself and other people, she says. Well, he has the training and experience for it, he agrees. If things go wrong, would Jason let Danny or Dani stay with him- just until she becomes a legal adult? She asks. Jason’s... not the sort of person who should be taking kids in. Danny saved his life though. He won’t say no. He says of course.
Jason knew it. Everything about Amity Park is abnormal.
The town doesn’t technically exist- there are no maps that include it and even satellite imaging is corrupted where Danny describes his hometown is supposed to be. There are no references to it on the internet that couldn’t be referring to a totally different Amity Park elsewhere, and judging by the problems they occasionally had on gaming nights and the odd offhand remarks Danny and his friends sometimes made, it was looking extremely likely that all communications between Amity Park and the outside were being heavily censored. Before Jason knew it he had started a full-on investigation on the GIW, Mayor Vlad Masters, former Mayor Montez, and Axion Labs.
Hope and fear lodges itself in Danny’s chest. Jason’s an adult and he’s actually going to help.
