Favorite trope that I need to see more of for sasusaku is love at first punch.

I need them as genin babies sparring, and Sakura manages to wallop one on Sasuke. She didn't mean too but he underestimated her, and now he's got a black eye.

That's the name of the fic!

It's so funny, too, when the author decides that Sasuke is all moon eyes and Sakura is just oblivious for one reason or another. Sasuke can be shown to be awkward when it comes to big feelings so this one would probably knock him out if ever realized before he was ready.

Then in non massacre fics you got Shisui and Itachi being those annoying older relatives in the background shipping the two genin. Sasuke comes home with a black eye that he refuses to have healed away pass the point of him being able to open the eye. He proudly says Sakura gave it to him during training. Cue merciless teasing from Itachi and Shisui.
