You don't need me to tell you about the fight between Wenwu and Ying Li. The way the fight transitions back and forth from violence to dance, finding a comfortable middle ground somewhere in the space between martial arts and ballet, clearly symbolizes the growing attraction between Wenwu and Ying Li over the course of their battle.

It also conveys a lot about Ying Li's feelings for her husband. She spends this entire story talking about how cool and terrifying and ultra-badass Wenwu was up until he crashed into the waves of her supernatural martial arts prowess, but forgets some pretty critical details.

Like.

She spends all this time talking up this beautiful, incredible dance-battle between herself and Wenwu, and then Shang-Chi's just like, "...okay. But how, though?" She was so excited to talk about Wenwu that she neglected basic details like why her version of Baguazhang gives her telekinetic powers, and needs to be prompted to talk about herself a bit.

Incidentally, Baguazhang is an inspired choice of martial art for Ying Li. I see what you did there, movie. Baguazhang is known for being a highly evasive style predicated around circular motion. It's built on circles within circles, using circular blocks and circular footwork to flow around an opponent's attacks. This is how Ying Li is able to defeat Wenwu, by consistently flowing out of the way of his powerful Rings.

There are a lot of evasive arts that Ying Li could practice for that purpose. But by choosing this particular style? Yeah. No wonder Wenwu fell in love at first sight. Ying Li's fighting style is a ring.
