A few weekends ago Times had a piece on Taylor Swift as a poet plus that new feature length episode + prev series of The Last Kingdom (which I really must catch up with) and interviews with Metallica and J. Smith-Cameron. Plus reviews of Dreamland, Rain Dogs and Grease: Rise of the Pink Ladies (which I really want to see).

Also had interviews with Lily Allen + Juliette Lewis (I really need to see S2 of Yellowjackets) plus Hadley Freeman on her anorexia and a tour of Dita Von Teese’s home. They had features on the rise of Manchester, hidden TV gems, female toxicity and high-flying lawyers plus reviews of Succession and Blue Lights.

Most notable Starkid cast members?

Starkid has had a lot of different cast members in their shows through the years and I started wondering who has been in the most shows and how many shows someone would have to be in for them to feel like a "proper" Starkid. I could have looked up to see if anyone has compiled this information but instead I decided to do it myself!

I went through the cast lists of all fourteen live stage shows they have uploaded to their channel (so including VHS Christmas Carol but not Nightmare Time or any other digital series) and here's what I found:

Then there are a handful of people who have only appeared in one or two shows, most notably Bonnie Gruesen, who played Hermione in the first two Potter musicals, Will Brenner, who debuted in Nerdy Prudes Must Die, and Mariah Rose Faith, Angela Giarratana, Curt Mega, Kim Whalen, Kendall Nicole Yakshe and Bryce Charles, who have all appeared in two or more Hatchetfield projects.

A couple of observations:

Some of the actors listed have also been involved behind the scenes, with Nick Lang writing almost every show with his brother Matt Lang, and Jeff Blim and Clark Baxtresser writing the music for several shows.

I was shocked that Rachael Soglin has only been in three Starkid shows but I guess it goes to show that the size of the role also plays a part in how much of a "Starkid" every actor feels.

The Squad's Ringtones in Mav's Phone

Rooster: 'Great Balls of Fire' being sung by Rooster himself.

Hangman: 'Holdin' Out For a Hero' by Bonnie Tyler; it was originally 'It Ain't My Fault' by Brothers Osborne because Hangman was always intentionally/unintentionally causing problems, but Maverick changed it at Hangman's request(demand) after the aviator saved him and Rooster.

Phoenix: 'The Phoenix' by Fall Out Boy. Self-explanatory and she loves it.

Bob: 'Here Comes the Sun' by the Beatles because Bob is a pure ray of sunshine that brightens up everyone's day.

Payback: 'Payback' by Juicy J just for the play on the name. It's a badass song, and before Payback enters a room, he'll call Mav's phone to have entry music.

Coyote: 'She-Wolf' by Shakira. Coyote will call Maverick when he's right next to him just to sing along to the ringtone.

Fanboy: 'Star Trek Theme Song' once Maverick recognized the font on Fanboy's helmet. Before it was the 'Star Wars Theme Song.'

Iceman: 'Ice Ice Baby' by Vanilla Ice. Again, self-explanatory.

Cyclone: 'Rock You Like A Hurricane' by Scorpions. It used to annoy Cyclone until Maverick told him that it almost was 'Fuck You' by Lily Allen. Cyclone decided he liked 'Rock You Like A Hurricane' after that.

Warlock: '24K Magic' by Bruno Mars after Maverick discovered Warlock has a 24K gold ring inherited from his father.

Hondo: 'You're My Best Friend' by Queen. Another self-explanatory one.

Let me know if I’m the only one but I think -from all the ad videos I’ve seen which honestly isnt a ton- Debbie Ryan and Josh Dunn’s house and Cara Delevingne’s house would be good Inspo I feel like R and J would have really interesting decor styles I may be bias tho cause I do love their homes and Arron Paul’s home actually I’d love to know what you’re favorites are so let us know pls even the ones you don’t use as inspo for the Drabble just what you like

i've binged the AD videos before cause I do have a knack for interior decoration and design, I just find it so fascinating. But ill def rewatch the ones you said!!
