headcanon that Ocean doesn’t have a lock on her bedroom door, so she keeps a chair wedged underneath the doorknob to make sure it stays shut while she sleeps. it’s not much, but it makes her feel a little safer in her house.
once when she forgot the chair, she woke up in the middle of the night to her mother standing in the corner of her room, staring at her. when she called her mother out, her mom walked out without a word. to this day, Ocean swears up and down that her mom was holding a knife, but it was too dark to tell for sure, and she had been quite delirious from just waking up, so she could have just been seeing things. still, she didn’t sleep for the rest of the night, and now she double checks that the chair is in place every time she goes to bed.

Hello! Just wanted to say that for me, the Daddy Zhongli drabble is pretty understandable as is, mayhaps needed a tiny bit more exposition to make more sense, but still perfect really. I love the concept so much (love all of your works really hahaha), and I wanted to ask if a possible sequel is in the works, or is that something that needs to be commissioned?
There's so much to explore, cause obviously Xiao is yandere for reader, and Zhongli is yandere for Xiao, so how does the dynamic work? And did Zhongli and Xiao plan this whole relationship with reader, what's the end goal? If reader were to try to end the relationship, what would happen?? Etc. Etc. SQUEALLL so much potential 🤤🤤🤤
creative writing as a whole is sort of a constant battle to communicate the thing that's been swirling around in your head for the past two to three months to someone who,,, has not had that experience, and sometimes, you just have to decide you're not going to try that hard. maybe this one's just for me. maybe xiao got topped and that's all that really matters.
and, while i'd hate to spoil you guys with too much closure, i do have a half-formed continuation sorta rattling around in up there. i'm not gonna make you guys pay me or anything (even if i would definitely still accept a tip for, like, the good vibes or something), but i do have a few commissions it'll have to be slotted between so,,, don't hold your breath. but also hold it a little. maybe for one or two weeks, if you can do that.

Kafka: I found a way to suppress the Mara symptoms of my friend. It’s not perfect but it’s the best I can do. Look how normal he looks now!!!

The days are meant to be longer but it feels like they pass with a fury. The new semester will begin soon, I don’t know if I’m ready truthfully and I have to make the difficult call to choose my next steps. I keep trying to hold steadfast in gratitude — for what I’ve accomplished in a year, for what’s to come in the next and for the simple promise of change…
Above: the MET’s temporary exhibit (did I mention I start a role there next semester?!), classical novels passed on from my neighbor (kept for 6 generations in her family!), the holy grail of French cooking, and my tree with my orange garland I made.
